Miguel was very courteous and professional while he repaired our hvac today. He explained the problem and got straight to work. He took pictures to show what it looked like before and after the repair was done. Miguel was on time (early even) which showed a respect to my time which was greatly appreciated as I wasn’t stuck at home waiting for the whole time slot of arrival window. Repair was done quickly and Miguel cleaned up and made sure everything was working as it should before leaving. He also explained what he did to fix the issue. Came out today to replace our hot water heater. At first he didn't have the right type of heater. Was going off of property owner info. Got leaking heater drained and removed. Went back to his shop and found the one we needed. Came back out and did not give up till he got the heater finished. Also did not mind us watching him throughout the entire job. We been without hot water for 5 days. He was determined we get hot water. Amazing to have a hot shower tonight. Thank you CKs plumbing and your plumber andrew.

I can't say enough good tings about PK Plumbing. Edwin is responsive, flexible, friendly, and professional. He diagnosed my problems quickly (sink replacement and toilet repair), provided a quote, and then began work. He even helped advise me on a side project I was doing at the time (installing an RODI for my aquarium fish), and when I tried to tip him for that extra effort he politely refused. Kevin S. and Mark H. installed our new upstairs heating and air conditioning units yesterday along with a downstairs wifi thermostat. They arrived when we requested them, and they completed this project in a professional, timely and efficient manner. They placed plastic on my steps and landing, kept me informed of their progress, and instructed me on how to set my wifi thermostats. They also removed all of the project related debris. I am very pleased that we chose Raleigh Heating and Air for this work.

I was about to give a 5-star review for coming same day to fix my sewer main and complete the job within 1 hour.

Then they charged me for 15 min of driving (ok, fine), 20 min of casual tool cleaning (really?), and 15 MIN FOR WRITING UP THE BILL! Yes, they charged me for the time it took to calculate and type up the total—ridiculous!

UPDATE RESPONSE: Jamie and the technician were courteous and helpful, and I appreciated the same-day service. I also I agree people should get paid; no one is disputing that.

But I just can’t stomach being charged $125/hr to write up my bill. I just spoke with another plumber who said he doesn’t charge for cleaning tools or writing up the bill and that it is not industry practice.

Can’t believe the world’s come to this, but now I know to ask whether a service contractor will charge me to calculate how much to charge me.

Highly recommend Lane Plumbing. I called after discovering a leak in our water heater and spoke to the owner Mr. Lane himself. He had his staff call me the same afternoon to get us on the schedule for a new install the next morning. Believe the great reviews, excellent company!

I have been using Cary Plumbing for over 20 years. They do good work but seriously overpriced. I just had a service call about a leak. They charged $311.03 for diagnosing a leak that they will end up opening a wall for to explore where the leak is and replaced a toilet fill valve that is $46 for three valves from Amazon which would make it only $15 for the one that they used. They charged me $42 for materials. Had they told me this I would have fixed it myself. What a ripoff of a longtime customer. When I said something about this the person who answered the phone was a bit rude.

Serviced tankless water heater, guys were great very polite, clean, professional, talked through all the activity they were doing, provided before and after pictures.

Mandolin HVAC has been a great vendor for my sites. They are reliable and honest and don't just tell you what you want to hear to win a job. They have bent over backwards to go WAY outside of their normal service area to assist me with system replacements when other contractors failed. I would highly recommend Mandolin for any HVAC needs!
