Extremely responsive, reasonable, honest and effective. When the job proved much more involved and complex than initial assessments, Brad called in assistance for additional hands/tools/perspectives He also went above and beyond what was necessary to solve the problem in order to provide the optimal solution. The final result was a re-routing of the main drain for my 100 year-old house and I have tremendous confidence in the result, not only for the moment but for long-term service and maintenance. A true gentleman and a true professional.

Paul worked late on Saturday to replace one of our water heaters and then returned on Monday to replace the other one. Extremely professional and helpful. He kept us informed at all times about what he was doing and was very punctual.

I called Friday with no hot water pressure. They scheduled to come out Saturday morning. My technician, Kalston, was prompt, courteous, professional and quick. After diagnosing the problem he told me what my options were. I chose to replace my water heater. He didn't have the size I would need in his truck but instead of making me wait till Monday he made a call and another technician who had one on their truck brought it to him. The fact that they offer financing was a bonus since I had just made another major purchase a few weeks before. I would highly recommend Optimal Plumbing Solutions.

Paul was very knowledgeable and professional. As a senior citizen that lives alone, it was nice to work with such a pleasant and respectful person during my projects. I initially contacted the company to replace my water heater and was so pleased that I contacted them the following week to replace 2 toilets and 2 faucets that had been on my to do list for some time. Both projects were completed in 1 day.

On Monday night our water heater stopped working. On Tuesday I Googled plumber's in my area. The first company I called couldn't give me an appointment until the next day and their trip charge was $20 more than Optimal Plumbing (OP). When I called OP, they gave me an appointment for that day. Aaron txtd when he was on the way. He diagnosed that my 13 yr old water heater needed replacing. Which he did that day. We were glad to have hot water again. I would call them again IF I should need any plumbing services again.

8-26-22 This is the second time we have used Optimal Plumbing. We had a leaky toilet this time which Mark P. diagnosed and fixed quickly. He was sweet, courteous and professional. Hopefully I won't need them anytime soon, but will call them again if I do.

Because of its age, I elected to have a new heater installed. Within hours the same day he had completed the job and removed all debris. His installation looked so much more professional than the work on the original hot water heater. I was also most pleased with the customer service Optimal Plumbing Solutions provided when I originally contacted them to trouble shoot my water heater. I will definitely go to them for any future plumbing issues.

Carter was amazing! Came on Christmas Eve to tackle a shower facet issue and additional pipe corrections for our house. Made sure everything was absolutely perfect before he finished and explained all details of the project to us. Highly recommend!

We had a ruptured water supply line between the meter and our house. We called Optimal Plumbing late one evening and had someone out the next day. The repair work was excellent. Even though the water line was nearly 5 feet underground, you couldn't tell where the work was done. Kalston was very friendly and professional and the work was done quicker than expected. The price also seemed reasonable. I would highly recommend Optimal Plumbing.

I called OPS when I noticed my tanked water heater is no longer working. They scheduled an appointment for me right away for same the morning. I received a text message with picture of the service expert and appointment details.

Service expert showed up right on time. He was very professional and I was quite impressed by the details he knew about the system. They repaired the heater in the best possible way after explaining the problem, possible solutions, alternatives, pricing and safety measures.

My water heater in the gargage was leaking from the bottom of the tank and the home had no hot water. We replaced the heater with a tankless that has a built in a recirculation pump. I happen to have an older model mobile home (1985 build), that until now noone wanted to help as far as plumbing issues. We had a hot water pipe burst. They showed early in their time window (10-1), quickly assessed the situation. They came, investigated, and repaired within an hour! Very courteous and responsive as well!

Kaylee Gleason did a great job on some work recently. She was able to significantly increase the water pressure in my house (I’m on a well), and also caught several issues she was able to fix during routine maintenance.

I was impressed with the professionalism of the business and the plumber , John, who performed the repairs to the toilet. John listened to the concerns and problems I was having and responded with very thorough and detailed explanations about how to fix them. It was nice to have someone explain fixes in a way I could understand rather than just saying it needed to be fixed. Also as a part of this visit he inspected sinks and a hot water heater with the same kind of delivery of information and also with tips on upkeep to keep things from needing to be repaired. As a result of the inspection serious issues with my hot water heater were found and will be fixed by this company soon. John mentioned that they like to treat their customers like family and I can very much say I felt that care in my experience with them today.

The technician Kalston was very professional and actually arrived early to help troubleshoot and service our hot water heater. It's the week of Thanksgiving and I have family over with no hot water available, and he was very quick to diagnose the issue and give me options and estimates! He came back the very next day to replace our busted unit, and I had hot water again in just a few hours. I reached out on the Thumbtack app to 3 plumbing companies this morning and Optimal Plumbing Solutions replied right away and sent a service pro, Ryan, out to our house the same day. He diagnosed a few issues with our water systems and gave us pricing for each. We asked if he had time to get the toilet fixed today and he did. Great work, quick and professional. I would highly recommend them. By the way, the other two plumbing companies still have not replied. No need to list their names, just hire Optimal.

Wednesday at midnight we discovered the water heater was leaking. After reading many reviews and researching water heaters we submitted an online quote request late Wed night. First thing Thurs morning we received a call to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. By lunch Friday we had a new water heater installed. Aaron and Shawn were punctual, professional, personable, did quality work, and left nothing behind besides content customers. Bonus points to Lacey in the office. Thursday evening we were struggling to decide between a conventional or tankless replacement - trying to make an expensive decision in hours that would normally take us weeks. Lacey was very patient, answering the phone after hours on the first ring to answer our questions. Highly recommended!

I used this company and man let me tell you how great they were from the minute I called. They were prompt and friendly. I called about 11am and was mad an appointment the same day at 2pm. I was running slightly late getting home about 5 mins after appointment time thinking I’d be ok. Nope Conor McCarthy beat me there! Right on time. Quickly assessed my issues and diagnosed my issues within 5 mins and quoted me what I thought to be a VERY reasonable price. When its all said and done this will be my forever plumbing company and as long as Conor is there I will be requesting that he services me.

Optimal Plumbing installed a tankless water heater. Not only is it amazing, but it looks great in my garage! I found a company that I will always use in the future.

Great service. Ryan was prompt with replacing our water heater and subsequently very helpful in detecting a gas leak with a faulty valve. A second leak was detected after the valve was replaced and Brad a manager came, quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.

We have had Optimal Plumbing out here before. Ryan S. Is a really nice guy who explained everything and he was ready to answer all questions (he’s patient, that’s good!) Ryan S. was neat and efficient and did great work. Last visit was our septic tank trouble and this visit we had water/air hammer. Very pleased with Ryan S and optimal Plumbing and will, of course, call on them next time we need plumbing hero!

We found our water heater leaking heavily after dinner one evening and Optimal was the first thing that popped on Google. Normally, I would research several companies before pulling the trigger but previous reviews reeled me in and I gave them a call. Within minutes of calling Lacy had a tech on the way. Carter was our tech and he was AMAZING! He really knew what he was talking about and didn’t leave until he walked us through the issues and next steps. Unfortunately for our pockets we had to replace our water heater. Carter was awesome and brought out the new unit the next morning. The guys with Optimal Plumbing were better than I had expected. I was concerned with the work that had to be done, but they came in, gave reasonable estimates and completed the work in short order. They were very professional, yet friendly at the same time. I have some additional work that I will have done at a later time, but will use Optimal Plumbing without a doubt! Plumbing flush fix

Carter did a great job from start to finish. Would def recommend to friends or anyone else in need of their service.

They have an inclination to charge more for a small repair. The technician advised me to change the whole flush instead of repairing a small part. For the faucet repair, they couldn't fix the faulty faucet and charged more to install a new one. Also, they didn't complete the work in a day, so I was left with no running water in the kitchen.

Kaylee was confident, competent, and congenial. We bonded with her almost as if she was a fourth daughter.

Great job with the installation

Mark did a great job, very professional. In addition to performing the yearly maintenance on my tankless water heater, he also inspected most of the plumbing in the house (kitchen and bathrooms).

I called 8am and they had some one at my house and hour earlier than scheduled, arriving at 1pm. Repaired two toilets quickly. Great work and I will call then again for any plumbing needs in the future.

Excellent company!

We had Optimal come out to give us a quote to install a new gas line from the meter to our old fireplace for new gas logs. Brad was punctual, courteous, and he gave me a very reasonable quote on the spot, which I wasn't expecting. He and his crew showed up when they said they would four days later and installed the new pipe, assembled the logs, and scheduled the inspection which passed just fine. When the logs that I bought didn't work due to a manufacturing issue Brad bought the necessary replacement part and came back to install it on his own time.
The process was smooth and we were very pleased with their work.

He checked for a clogged drain, which we didn’t have thankfully. He verified our water pressure was on the low end and replaced our regulator to increase it. That made a huge difference. We received an estimate to add an exterior hose bib as well. Thanks for your help Mark!

I left an email message for this business Sunday evening and received a very pleasant call by 8:00 am Monday and was able to be scheduled for the free estimate that morning . Aaron provided an estimate for the replacement of the kitchen disposal as well as another repair that I wanted to be done, laundry faucet replaced. Both estimates were reasonable and the disposal was replaced at that time, with work completed and area left very tidy. The faucet to be replaced as soon as i locate the style I want.

Mark was excellent. Made sure not only our broken faucet/pipe was fixed, but checked all our bathrooms and hot water heater were good to go. Very kind and professional.

Carter was timely arriving, wore shoe covers and placed door mat to protect our new construction flooring. He was polite and friendly, answering our questions throughly. After installing a new disposal, he cleaned up well and did an excellent job all around. We will use Optimal Plumbing again. And plan to tell others with plumbing needs.

Our hot showers would randomly become cold for a couple of minutes before eventually going back to hot. I was also not getting hot water in one of the bathroom sinks. What started as a routine flushing and descaling of our tankless water heater--which the plumber was relatively sure would resolve the issue--became a three-visit financial gouging. The 473-dollar bill for the first day snowballed into $876 by the end of the third visit, as the plumber applied verbal, and possibly imaginary, coupons to replace parts that did not need to be replaced. In the end, the solution was a dip switch setting, which the plumber discovered while on the phone with the manufacturer's technical support.

Customers shouldn't be charged for repeated visits while the technician goes down a generic checklist that has nothing to do with the actual problem. Let the buyer beware!

Outstanding service.

The plumbers that came out seem nice and professional but not all FREE estimates are FREE! I called and requested an estimate yesterday for today. If you are selling your house apparently the FREE estimate then becomes a billable estimate which is referred to as a Reality Estimate. Just in case anyone else is looking for an estimate for the same reason I thought I'd write a review to inform you. The cost was $95 plus tax. Outside of the estimate I haven't had any work performed yet.

Ryan arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and explained it thoroughly and gave me an estimate before beginning the repair. After completing the repair, he checked the house to ensure there were no more leaks anywhere. We would definitely use Optimal for any plumbing needs in the future.

Aaron Grant was extremely nice to work with. He was courteous and neat, explained everything and finished the job when he Saud he would. I will certainly use this company again.

Very friendly explained the problem great price

Mosi, our service tech, installed 2 new hot water heaters and did an excellent job. We originally had 2 older hot water heaters installed in the crawl space and both were nearing 15 years old. One started leaking in the middle of the night and we called Optimal Plumbing solutions at 7 AM. They answered and set up a morning appointment. Mosi was sent out to service our address. In a timely fashion he was able to assess the work needed and give us a fairly priced estimate which we immediately agreed to. He worked diligently and by mid day we had two new water heaters installed.

Not only did Mosi do an excellent job in a timely manner but he also discussed the heated plumbing system with us as a functioning technical system. It was quickly apparent that he is skilled in his craft, knows it well, and appreciates the technical aspects of his trade. Optimal Plumbing Solutions is fortunate to have Mosi as an employee. I should also add that Mosi spoke highly of his employer, which is a good sign for both employee and employer.

Excellent work! The plumber was very attentive and didn't mind me asking 100 questions. He worked with us and actually cared about the outcome instead of just looking to get the job done and get paid. Definitely recommend!

Estimate of major repair

We got a new washer and upon hooked up, water back flowed and not draining properly. This is a problem the previous owner didn’t disclose. We called Optimal Plumbing and they came out and snake the pipe and also looked at the piping in the crawl space. When he left, the problem still didn’t get resolved. He quoted additional $400 plus $600 to straighten the piping system in the crawl space claiming that was the problem but had me sign a statement that the problem was solved.

I am satisfied with services provided, I originally needed a new water heater in March 2021. I called back recently due to low pressure from my faucets. Repair was done within an hr!

From start to finish, dealing with this company is a pleasant experience! They are easy to get ahold of and responsive even on weekends. The technician will lay out clear quotes on service options before they start the work. Ryan Smith did an excellent job on our faucet installs and trouble shooted several other minor plumbing issues for us.

Optimal Plumbing is great! We have an older home that needed our main drain line replaced badly, requiring part of our basement floor to be dug up. Brad and his workers had the entire line replaced and our house back to functional in just a day (one more for concrete repair). Highly recommend!

Mark came to give us an estimate for our shower repair. He came during the time that he said he would . When he arrived he laid a mat down on the floor before he came in. After checking it out, he told me that we really just needed to change the shower head and the rest of the shower parts (valve, etc.) looked fine. I was very impressed that he didn't push us to have more work done than we needed.

Our water heater went out during a cold night. I called Optimal Plumbing Solutions at 7:28 AM expecting to reach an answering machine, but instead I was greeted immediately by a friendly human voice. I explained the problem, gave my name, and she immediately pulled up my address even though my only prior contact with them was a no charge visit to give me advice on hooking my well to my new garden irrigation system. The man I had met previously was busy but she was able to get another technician out by mid morning. Sadly we needed a new water heater ( this one was 11 years old) but by early afternoon we were fully functional. Highly recommended!!

Have used Optimal Plumbing for a few years now, for various types of issues, and it’s always been a good experience. Most recently Mosi was very helpful in fixing a water pressure issue from sediment build up in our tank and even showed me how I can resolve the issue in the future on my own to save some money which I very much appreciated. I would have been content paying them once a year or so to clean it out. I’m usually a big believer in calling around to get different quotes when you need a home repair, but that kind of integrity and customer service is why I don’t bother calling around when I have a plumbing issue and just call the folks at OPS.

BE CAUTIOUS! I called Optimal Plumbing Solutions to replace a kitchen faucet (I purchased the faucet myself) and replace a shower faucet and confirm where the shower was leaking as I had a spot in my ceiling below. First, Ryan Smith was here for 4 hours and all he did was replace a kitchen faucet and two shut offs valves under my sink and charged me $550. He had zero urgency to do the work and stood around talking rather than got working. I thought it was pretty high priced, but had him go ahead and replace the kitchen faucet. Side note - I got a quote from another plumber who came the next day and they quoted at most $320 for the same work and it would have taken 1 1/2 hours. With my shower faucet leak, Ryan conveniently said that someone with Franco Restorations was showing up at my house any minute to drop off paperwork to him on something else and he would see if he could take a look at the leak. Franco just so happened to have a moisture meter on hand and offered to test out the leak issue to see where water was behind walls. Ryan said he thought the shower valve needed to be replaced. Franco’s assessment, which Ryan did NOT deny, was water was spraying one direction behind my shower insert and had now saturated the subfloor, went down the walls on the first floor and said we needed to call insurance company right away to file a claim and said they would help me do it right then so they could get rolling on demo and repairs. They said the tile floor would need to come up, the drywall and shower/tub replaced as well as the walls demo'd and replaced on the first floor below. I was hesitant and wanted more information. Ryan had no urgency or desire to stop the supposed spraying leak which was very odd to me. Instead he said I needed to call the insurance company first. That was very suspicious to me. Instead, I called a different plumbing company on an emergency basis to stop the supposed spraying leak. That plumber came out and said he saw no signs of that type of leak or water behind the walls or floor. However, to make sure since I was told something so differently by Optimal Plumbing and Franco Restorations, we had the new plumber cut holes in our ceiling and walls where Optimal/Franco claimed there was high levels of moisture and water behind them. It was absolutely completely DRY!!! NO WATER AT ALL in ANY locations they claimed!!! I had a small leak from the valve in the shower fixture that was a very light drip, but it had not caused any damage at all and no subfloor was saturated, no floor or walls needed to be demo'd and no water restoration company was needed. However, now because of Franco's false claims and false representations and Optimal Plumbing Solutions agreeing with them, we now have investigative holes in our ceiling and walls that we have to pay to fix. I do not trust this plumbing company at all - at worst they work with Franco to scam people or at best they are absolutely clueless at plumbing and how to investigate or address leaks.

What a great experience from start to finish! Optimal Plumbing was referred to us by an inquiry we made on Angie's List. They were the first to respond, give a quote for the work and some dates to choose from. At the time they were the first to respond I told them I wasn't ready to decide since I hadn't heard from other companies yet. After talking to three other plumbing companies I called Optimal back. With great courtesy I was given a date and time. The morning of my appointment I received a text message advising the plumber Aaron had been dispatched and should arrive shortly the text also included a picture of Aaron. I knew we were in good hands when Aaron arrived he put a doormat with the company logo on top of our welcome mat AND put shoe covers on before he walked in the door. Talk about professional!! That meant a lot to me because it was wet outside from the previous night's rain. So Aaron introduces himself takes a look at the project checks a few things then confirms the quote. He then proceeds to to replace the faucet but before he gets started he places a padded mat in front of the sink which protected my hardwood floors...excellent!! He finishes faucet works great! Clean up is immaculate! My husband and I had requested a quote to get a taller toilet in our master bath. Aaron gave us a quote on the spot answered all our questions honestly about the different choices of toilets. We decided to move forward with the new toilet and install ...guess what Aaron adjusted his schedule to allow time for him to go get the toilet and install it THE SAME DAY!!! The toilet looks great, works great, the caulking around the bottom is perfect!! Clean up from the toilet install was immaculate as well!! My husband and I are truly satisfied with quality of the work, the courtesy of Aaron, the office staff and the care and attention that was taken upon entering the house and then doing the work. Service technician very nice and repairs were made quickly. He basically fixed a small leak. They charged over 400 dollars for 30 minutes. The cost of the parts were likely less than 10 dollars. It was the weekend so I understand it's going to be a little more. Over the phone they mention a fixed 59 dollar charge for the service call. if repairs are done, get ready for a lot of suggestions for unnecessary repairs. It's hard to say if I would use them again. I'd likely shop around or try to repair myself for less than 20 bucks. But it's done and I have no more leaks thus 3 stars.

Our well pump and pressure vessel failed on our house, leaving us without water. We called around and finally found Optimal Plumbing, who were able to send someone over that morning. They were able to start the job that day, replacing the well pump, pressure vessel, two water heaters (which were 20 years old), and a leaking house filter system by the next afternoon.

The guys were extremely nice and easy to deal with. They were very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. And they were very efficient, getting us up and running, as well as spending time answering maintenance questions and questions about how our well system worked.

I could not recommend them more highly. I would definitely call them again if we have problems in the future, and I would recommend them to anyone who has plumbing or well issues.

Aaron came out and replaced the expansion tank on our hot water heater. Also had him look at a leak in our bathroom. Walked me through what he was looking for and what everything meant. First of all, I love how everything is digital. I scheduled online. Received a confirmation text. Then I received a text telling me the tech is on the way.

He quickly diagnosed the issue, had me sign to authorize the repair, and it had the part replaced. From the time I contacted them to the time he left my house was under 4 hours.

My plumber was super nice and very quick with his services, but did arrive after the appointment window we had set. Also, the fix needed was fairly simple, but he did so before I told him it was okay; I was only prepared to pay for the inspection services, but ended up with a bill double that for something, after learning what it was, I could have done myself. The plumber was very friendly and efficient, but my landlord didn't cover the fee of the service because he didn't approve of the service (which was performed without my approval). For someone in a different context, I'm sure this would have been 5 star service, so I still rank 4. But I do warn to only call if you need the job done right away!

I highly recommend Optimal Plumbing Solutions for all your plumbing needs. They are thorough and highest quality parts and service at a reasonable price. They took the time to explain everything to my complete satisfaction. I plan on having them do more work for me next year, removing and replacing all polybutylene piping in the crawlspace and in the walls.

My research reveals that because of numerous leakage problems and lawsuits against the manufacturers, polybutylene pipe (PB) manufacture was stopped after 1995. It is no longer an approved pipe for water supply or distribution by the building codes, although approval was not immediately rescinded after it was removed from the market.

The plumber was kind and gave his honest opinion about the options we could go with to fix our toilet. He was attentive and very helpful.

Optimal Plumbing came to my house in January 2021 to help me with a clogged toilet and shower in the kids bathroom. The technician that came run a camera through the pipes and told me that I had a broken pipe under the concrete slab but he was able to unclog the toilet and shower. At that point he told to start looking for a contractor to cut the concrete slab inside the house and repair the pipe because eventually the problem was going to occur again. And yes the problem happened again. The came back to my house for the same reason in October, another technician this time, same diagnostic time time based on the first diagnostic provided in January. He charged me over $400.00 for just trying to unclog the toilet and was not able to do it.
Next morning when I was taking a shower in my master bedroom shower, the shower got clogged too. And this shower is the closest one to the septic tank and in front of the supposed broken pipe. I went outside, removed the cover from my septic tank and my septic was full. With only $160.00 I fixed the problem my self. They reaped me of my money and I finished fixing the problem myself with a submersible pump and a hose and pumping from the septic tank to the pressure tank

Overall the experience from start to finish was awesome.

First I called on a Saturday afternoon (not really expecting anyone to answer and having to leave a voicemail) when I talked to either a Steve or a Scott I don’t remember their name 100% but he was awesome and got me an appointment set for that week.

They called to confirm the day before and I had a window from 8-11. We all know how that typically goes, they’re get here at 10:30. WRONG Mark got here at 7:57 and texted me when he was on his way.

Now let’s get to the service, I needed help with 2 toilets that wouldn’t stop running, didn’t even really know what the problem was. They checked them out and ran through the rest of the house to check and make sure everything else was good as well, even my water heater and water pressure.

We found an issue with my water heater no anything major but Mark explained it will help extend the life of the water heater and I don’t want it replaced anytime soon. He gave me quick estimates and was able to replace it in under an hour.

Absolutely amazing 10/10 will be using them whenever I have another issue.

Disappointing. I was referred to Optimal Plumbing. The owner came out, looked at the problem I was having, said he would look for the parts he needed and call me back so we could start the work. He never called back. I called and left three messages and still no return calls. If he didn't want the job, the proper thing to do would have been to be up front about that, instead of wasting my time and causing the work to be deferred while I waited on him to return my calls!

We had new kitchen countertops installed and needed to have a new faucet, Hot water faucet and garbage disposal installed in a timely fashion. Because we are new to the area, my husband and I relied on the online reviews to find a plumber for one day's work of items in our new home such as replacing toilets, faucets, etc. When the estimator arrived with my husband, he wasn't willing to answer all of his questions and paid for a quote that only consisted of replacing our shutoff valve. This wasn't an item on the list, but I give him two stars because the plumber that we did end up hiring to do the work also recommended this and was willing to give us a quote on all of the items and answer all of our questions. Fifty-nine dollars just seems high for him to cherry pick what work he wanted to do.

I will call Optimal for ALL my plumbing needs i phoned to report suspected issues with my Wtr heater, as my hot water was not coming on. Mark arrived firvsame day service and immed diagnosed that my pilot light was out. Ultimately, I will have to contact Dominion Gas to relite the pilot.

Recently my water heater went out during some extremely cold weather. I called Optimal Plumbing and they sent someone that afternoon. I was very grateful for the prompt response. Paul came and assessed the situation. There were no high-pressure sales tactics and he lets you take your time to mull over the options. Even though the sun was going down and the temperature was dropping rapidly, Paul was good natured about staying to finish the job that evening. I even asked him if he would rather come back the next morning once it was daylight and perhaps a bit warmer. Keep in mind that he ended up replacing the water heater in the very cold crawl space. I had been concerned about whether there would be a long wait due to COVID delays in the supply chain, but Optimal fortunately had what I needed in stock. He went to get the heater and in a short time hot water was running once again. I would highly recommend Optimal Plumbing as they are professional, easy to work with, competent, and thorough. Paul did a great job in addition to cleaning up afterwards. Couldn’t ask for a better outfit!

Optimal immediately identified the issue and explained that our water heater was 9 years old and leaking - repair was an option but the leaking would have continued and it only made sense to replace it. I can highly recommend Optimal Plumbing Solutions! They were professional during the entire process. They provided quality service and were punctual for both the estimate and repair. We had a lot to fix, and it was an overall good value. They offer a discount for multiple projects on the same ticket, this discount helped a ton!

In early March, they fixed multiple issues that we had going on in our house. In 2012, my husband and I moved back into his childhood home. The whole time our guest bathroom has not had a working shower, but we knew from other plumbing visits that to fix it would require cutting through drywall from another room and be a big project. Plus we had to fill a bucket with the cold water of the tub to flush the toilet, we have had two other plumbers visit over the years to fix this issue with no luck.

We finally decided to fix the hot water in our guest bathroom and other plumbing issues that my dad recommended that have happened over the years. We are expecting our first child in July and the out of town new grandparents were planning (before the pandemic) to stay with us to help out. We know we need our guest bathroom that is close to the nursery to be up and running.

Optimal Plumbing Solutions repaired the clean out in the front yard, replaced two outside hose bibs, replaced the shut off valve and supply line at the toilet, installed a shower/tub valve, and replaced shower arm with drywall cutout. Basically they fixed all the plumbing issues we have been procrastinating on fixing.

They did a fantastic job! Our pipes are safer and less likely to burst with the clean out repaired and the hose bibs replaced. Our guest bathroom now has a working shower and toilet again!

Note: I did not take photos of the outside issues, but here are some before and afters of the guest bathroom: new shower, old shower, new tub, and old tub.

Customer service was great, they replaced 2 toilets and a busted (litteraly) hot water heater and figured out why one of my toilets wasn't flushing right in one day. We personally did not have a good experience with this business. I chose this plumber based on good reviews, but I was not impressed with the value or quality of work. We had called them two separate times about a year ago. Long story short, we had a very high water bill due to a faulty fill valve and had to have a plumber come out to provide us with a receipt to send to the city so they could reduce our water bill. I’m not sure if this is standard but this company charged us $300 to install a fill valve. Since then we have replaced the valves ourself and I don’t see why it should cost that much. The second time we called was because our sink was gurgling from what we suspected was a plumbing vent blockage. They did some kind of repair with the P-trap under the sink and things were fine for two weeks, but the issues returned. So essentially that time we paid $350 dollars for an issue that returned a couple weeks later.

Installed a Pelican saltless water filter / purifier system. Price was reasonable for the work performed. Rerouted main water line to access the three new filters and also had my tankless water heater back flushed. On time and no hassles. Brad pointed out other areas of both plumbing and even some HVAC ducts that need attention. Would definitely re hire.

We had Optimal Plumbing Solutions come out to quote a natural gas line install underground to a grill from the house. The technician arrived on time and was professional. There was a $49 fee involved to quote the work.

The quote came out to $2,890.39 which was $1,390 higher than the price we went with. We used a different contractor who did not charge us to quote it and installed it the way we requested which was the most direct route.

I believe they quoted the work high so they didn't have to get the work so that's okay. I'm kinda annoyed at how much they were over all the other bids and the fact that the technician didn't want to bury the line under the deck as requested. We also had to pay for a quote we ended up not going with.

One bathroom house built in 1912. The bath tub had a drum instead of a ptrap so we had standing water in the tub. Cast iron pipe for the tub and toilet was replaced with PVC and vanity pipes replaced. The tub was somewhat of an emergency. I called on Thursday afternoon, Lacy was very sensitive to our situation and scheduled the work for Friday afternoon. Brad fit us into his schedule and called before arriving. Brad is knowledgeable, professional and works very quick. He conscious and cares that the customer is pleased. He wasn’t able to finish on Friday, he came back Saturday on a holiday weekend to complete the job! I can’t thank Optimal enough for helping us and will use them again. Thanks Lacy! Thanks Brad!

Optimal Plumbing Solutions did a Hot Water Tank install a week early when our old unit finally failed and started leaking. From answering the phone at 7am on their main line to speaking with a tech to make sure everything was safe, the process to get the ball rolling early was easy. This was good old fashioned service! They sent their tech, Paul, with the new tank and in a short while, he had a new gas hot water heater installed and ready to go. During the installation he kept me informed and worked efficiently. This is the way it used to be done. Fair prices and straight forward on what we needed and what we didn’t, no unnecessary up sells. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I am providing this rating as the result of my initial call. Their service generally are highly rated. However, I contacted the company to bid a job to replumb the entire house with Five full baths, two full kitchens, two laundry rooms and 8 exterior faucets. They insisted on needing to charge a $49 fee to come provide a bid on a project and I find this unacceptable. If you are getting the chance to bid a $15,000+ job, you should not be charging a fee. I could understand if this was a repair job or something small, but it is not. I have taken 7 bids and not one other company tried to charge me a fee to bid the job.

This time, Ryan Smith of Optimal Plumbing, exceeded my expectations by doing more for considerably less $.
I received a town water bill stating I used 27,500 gallons of water; this is enough water to overfill a 20 x 40 x 4.5 foot pool!
My typical water usage in a 4 week period is 1654 gallons.
Ryan monitored the town water meter & noted that it was running backwards then forward & backwards again. It appears that the meter is at fault as Ryan checked the interior & crawl space of my home for any leaks & there were none.
Readers should know that I have a Moen Smart Water Valve installed by Optimal Plumbing last year & the data from this device aligns with Ryan’s no-leaks diagnosis. This valve will also shut off my water when it sees that I have exceeded my daily use, so no chance of neighbors filling their pool with my hose.
AND, you know what? Instead of being nickel & dimed by a service company, there was no charge for this inspection, believe it.
Of course I did request the move of my Rheem water heater WiFi controller to the inside of my home from the crawlspace, but that was only $186.
Why should anyone call another plumbing company, when you can hire the best of the best?

Unable to get the proper size water heater at that time of day, he took care of getting the water turned off so the leaking would stop. The closet where the water heater is located is very small and he spent several hours the next day locating one that would fit. He arrived for the installation and within a few hours I had hot water once again! Carter and Brad were both extremely professional and polite. They got my old hot water unit taken out and installed a new one the same day in less then 3 hrs. I would highly recommend this company. I will be using them again in the future.

For starters, I had hired Roto-Rooter to come in and take care of a clog in the bathroom. They ran an auger and evidently busted out the very back of our commode. You couldnt see the damage from looking at either side of the toilet so I never saw the damage. The next day the toilet started leaking so i thought it needed a seal installed. Evidently RotoRooter cleaned up their mess and didnt tell me about the damage. I didnt really like Roto-Rooter, they seemed really shady ( I can only hope they read this, lol) and ended up calling Optimal. Hands down, the best decision I made. Ryan went above and beyond with the work to be done, and we talked about other sewer issues were having at the house, and he stayed well beyond the time he should have left, explaining everything and making sure I had a good understanding of the work to be done. Optimal is a class act and thats made clear with the employees they hire (thanks again Ryan!) and the work they do. I will look forward to working with them in the future, as Ive already got other repairs planned. Dont waste your time or money going anywhere eles! 5 plus stars👍💯

Brian did a great job of finding the source of our leak and replaced the valves and pipes. He knows his stuff. This is the 2nd time using optimal and we are very satisfied. They also came out same day to fix this problem.
Will definitely call them again when we need a plumber.

From the initial phone call to request service to the ending handshake Optimal Plumbing offered superior service. Friendly staff, great communication and expert repair service is what we all look for in a service company and Optimal Plumbing delivers. Initial diagnostic and providing options for repair was exactly what i had hoped for and exactly what i got. They will be my go to for any plumbing needs from here on out!

The positives:
- Plumber was on time.
- The call center employee was courteous and professional.
- The plumber was responsive when I called him with a question.
- The plumber wore shoe coverings and PPE.

The not-so-positives:.
- We were quoted $706 for a toilet replacement when it's likely a broken flush handle and wax seal that is in need of repair. When I called for a breakdown of labor costs, I was told that it's not possible to break down the charges. $557 in labor for a $149 toilet is steep. I am not opposed to replacing the toilet, but I am not comfortable spending that much money without knowing what specifically the charges cover.
- The technician would not technically explain the needed repairs to me. I'm sure it's because he thinks I don't know anything about plumbing. He referred to the toilet repairs needed as special parts vs. what the actual parts are called.

We chose this company because the reviews seemed great. I am trying to decide whether it is worth replacing the whole toilet or having the repairs done, but in order to make an informed decision, I need a breakdown of the costs or at least a detailed explanation of what work is being performed. So far, they have not been willing to provide enough details regarding the work for my satisfaction. I went into this wanting to use Optimal and wasn't intending to shop around for different plumbers, but the experience has left me wondering if I should just eat the $49 service charge and go with another company for the repair. I do not enjoy feeling like the vendor does not want to answer basic questions.

I am so impressed by the work performed by Optimal Plumbing Solutions. I had a sewage back-up due to tree roots growing through a crack in a pipe. The pipe itself was literally in the most precarious position possible - literally surrounded by utility lines and within inches of my driveway. Brad and Ryan dug the hole 12 wide and probably 6 feet deep and repaired the pipe in less than 4 hours. They put everything back and you could barely tell they had been there - they even put a drop cloth on the driveway to make sure they didn't scratch the cement! And, most important, they did the job at a reasonable price! I had quotes for this job from 4 plumbing companies. One was two times the price, another four times and a third was so lowball I knew they had no clue what the job entailed. I will be keeping the number for Optimal Plumbing on hand and they will be my very FIRST call in the future when I encounter plumbing problems. I could not be happier with how this worked out. Thank you guys so much!

Brad and Aaron are true professionals. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and have fair pricing. We first hired them for an emergency where we started to do some work ourselves and the project was too difficult for us to handle. They came right away and fixed it leaving us with a beautiful new shower head. We then decided to switch from well water to public water and they walked us through the whole process and did a lovely job. I highly recommend them!
