We called Jayk's first thing in the morning when water heater started leaking and they arrived within half an hour. Able and Jose were incredibly efficient, professional, and kind - they had our water heater replaced, as well as fixed our supply line and rusted out water valve all within a couple of hours, and way below budget from what we were quoted by other companies. I can't say enough about how impressed we were with their service. They are taking serious COVID precautions and made us feel safe throughout their service. We will definitely be calling them anytime we have plumbing needs in the future!

I had extremely low water pressure after installing a new faucet (myself), and the tech came over and realized immediately what the problem was, and fixed it in about 5 minutes. Due to the nature of the problem, he didn't charge me! I hope I don't have any more problems with plumbing, but I know who to call if I do

Lewis came out to give me a quote. After measuring and discussing with Jayk, they gave me a better course of action on my own that would cost less than what they could do. This is refreshing to find someone this honest and helpful! Lewis even came in and took a look at something else unrelated and gave me a suggestion. Lewis was prompt and courteous and super nice and helpful. This goes a long way with me, and I will be keeping their number avail for myself and to pass along to others.

We are new to Durham and had our first official plumbing emergency in our new home. We randomly selected and called Jayk’s. Jason was very professional, helpful, and arrived promptly. He also charged a very reasonable fee and we were very impressed and grateful with the work he did and in the timely manner he completed it. Highly recommended and we will definitely call him again if we ever have any other issues.

Called Jayks and immediately got a response. Although appointments full for the day he got out to my 91 year old Dad during lunch hour. Couldn’t be more grateful! My Dad is disabled has only one toilet and the best I could do for him was to cut the water off the hugely leaking toilet. Jayks went above and beyond and charged him only $45. One of the big plumbing companies sent a useless employee out whom couldnt figure out how to unclog the bathroom drains that are connected. Even after we suggested the roof vent for the drains needed to be cleaned, they failed to even attempt that and did'nt bother to call for backup when they could not figure it out. Thankfully, Jayk's fixed it on the first try in a quick visit. Professional, courteous, and knowedgeable. They came out within a reasonable amount of time and fixed the issue quickly. Cleaned up after themselves and all for a better price than the competition. Beware of the larger franchise or corporate companies. Highly recommend you to give Jayk's a chance at your plumbing work.

Jayk called/texted me back himself and set up an appointment very quickly and responded to several follow-up questions right away. The quote he gave me is what the total ended up being. The plumber who did the job, Lu, was very kind and helpful and efficient and did a great job. I would recommend Jayk’s to family and friends. Very happy!

They came in and ascertained there was no leak with pipes and isolated it to 2 running toilets and fixed them.

We had an emergency plumbing situation with waste spilling into our crawlspace. I contacted our home warranty company and was told the plumber we had to use would contact us in 24 hours and had a seven day window to come out to look at our situation. This was was unacceptable so I gave Jayks a call. Jason came out to my house 30 minutes later, assessed the situation, and went to work. Before I knew it the plumbing was fully operational again and I couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend giving Jayks a call.

When I discovered my outdoor water faucet would not shut off, I called Jayk's because of the good reviews posted on google for their speed of service. I was able to speak to someone on my first call and they were able to send someone that same day. Fortunately, it was a simple fix and they were able to repair it in less than 20 min. Great service and very reasonably priced. I would definitely refer Jayk's.

Amazing service, very reasonable price, personable, and timely response. I was so impressed by the ease of scheduling last minute, the prompt response (we called about a non-urgent matter and they had a technician at our house within an hour) and the very reasonable charge for fixing everything. My entire experience with Jayk’s Plumbing was fantastic. I got an appointment set up quickly, Lou my plumber arrived on time and he was super knowledgeable. I had so many items that I had questions about and he was able to address all of them. The prices were also very affordable. I highly recommend them!

We had a couple leaking toilets in our house, one worse than the other but our water bill began increasing substantially. I called Jason Friday afternoon and he had Luis out to our house first thing Monday morning. Luis was quick to identify what needing fixing and where the problems were coming from. Clearly very knowledgeable and well trained. Within a few hours he had completed everything and left the lids of toilets open so I could see what he did in there, and do a couple test flushes. Both are running smooth and QUIET!! Time will tell if this will help the bill go back down to normal figures (we're thinking it will as most bill increases are due to leaky toilets). Overall a great experience with these guys, highly, highly recommend!

With the report of Hurricane Michael on the news, I knew I needed to act fast on our waterline leak that was located in front of our house. Jayk's was recommended to us and I called with my problem. Jason sent a guy out right away and got the pipe replaced for us! What a RELIEF!!! If you ever need plumbing, call these guys! They REALLY do what they say on the side of their truck...We'll come running!

I recently called Jayk's Plumbing to fix my high water pressure due to a bad PRV valve. I had just received an estimate from another company and felt their price was too high and didn't enjoy the high pressure sales pitch. Jayk's Plumbing was able to repair it significantly cheaper and also came out to the house within an hour. Great, professional service at affordable pricing and NO high pressure sales pitches. I have now found myself a plumber for all future repairs and projects. Thanks!

Great experience and super fast. Our sump pump was broken and a lot of water in our crawl space from all the rain this winter. We also had a very clogged shower. Jose and the other plumber were super fast, very respectful of our home (always wiped mud off and wore boot covers before coming inside), wore masks and kept proper social distancing. Also, the prices seemed very reasonable, and they accept credit cards or checks for payment.

I called the main number at 1:45pm, and by 4:30pm everything was fixed, installed and cleaned up. Jose did a great job going over everything that they did, and double checked that we were happy with everything before they left. Will not hesitate to use Jayk's again!

I have had multiple plumbers out for 2 issues a running toilet a big name company changed me 300 to fix that was not fixed and would have charged another 100 to come back to fix, and a shower that was “leaking behind the wall and would require a 10k remodel and new shower. He fixed both for less then each of them and didn’t get mad when I forgot to pay him on time! As a property owner he is exactly the kind of plumber I am trusting my investments too while I am out of town!

Jason did a excellent repair for me. He was on time and worked very efficiently. His price was very reasonable. He is honest! Most consumers know little about plumbing so this is very important. Call him, you won't be sorry.

I had an ancient corroded pipeline under my house with several leaky valves and fittings connecting a well to several outside faucets, plus a leaky toilet inside the house. Jason came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. A few days later he came back, did the repairs, found a number of other leaks in that line that sprang up while he was working, fixed all of them, and charged his original estimate. He is punctual, friendly, and incredibly competent. I would recommend him to anyone.

We have now used Jayk’s Plumbing twice and there are no words to express how awesome they are. Both times we have called them we have called because we were having an emergency. The first time was during “normal” business hours & the second time was on a Sunday. Both times we contacted them, they responded to us within 1/2 an hour and then came to our home within an hour. They have wonderful customer serivce and were able explain the problem to me in an easy to understand way. The labor fees for the work we needed done were extremely reasonable and they will always be the plumbers we call from now on. Thank you for great service!!

Jayk's is awesome! Louis came out to have a look at our washing machine. When he arrived, he immediately had booties on hand to cover his shoes. Usually, folk just come up in your home, tracking all kinds of dirt on your carpet. He went above and beyond, and found the source of our issue. He even went an extra step, to connect our dryer! The employees here are respectful, kind, and extremely efficient. I definitely will be using them again!

We had a busted pipe (small leak) at our well pump and an electrical issue. They came out the day after Christmas and got it fixed in a couple of hours. The charge was $250, which seems like a reasonable price. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be less. We're very happy to have our water back and would highly recommend Jayk's, LLC.

Two techs showed up to my house to fix choppy water/shaking pipes and were able to quickly fix it in under 30 minutes for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use them again.

An inlet pipe to our toilet broke below the valve on Christmas Eve. Mayhem. Jayk's kept it from becoming a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I texted a picture of the damage, and two techs were out to our house almost immediately. They were courteous, careful, and they took the time to fix our problem without cutting through the walls. Excellent service with the installation of a replacement toilet fixture. Installed in less than 12 hours of the request. Communication was excellent between the owner and me and he was MOST responsive regarding outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend and will use this firm again when needed. Definitely recommended. I called after I had struggled to get through to and schedule a well-known plumber whom a friend recommended, pretty concerned because water was gushing up out of my front yard (think artesian well) and creating a waterfall into the storm drain, & sweeping huge amounts of sediment into the creek on my property line, despite my efforts to control it, shut off water to my house, contact the city, etc. (As a water scientist, the creek part bothered me, but also, of course, I was afraid I was running up a huge water bill.) Jayk's answered promptly and came right out. The poor guy who got stuck with the job (might have been Louis, but this was a year or two ago, and I forget) neatly and persistently dug out probably a few cubic meters of my front yard (and didn't even kill the plants in my straggly garden like the AT&T cable-laying folks did in the same area) with a shovel, in what I remember to be rather intense heat, and remained calm and good-natured through the whole ordeal. By exposing the pipes (and which way the water was flowing, via which holes continued to gush), he was able to demonstrate that the water was coming not from pipes that belonged to me, but from a city water main with an unusual bend into my yard. (Under, or at least nearer the street is normal.) The folks at Jayk's charged me a ridiculously low price for this service (way less than usual for a plumber; can't have covered their expenditures) because they hadn't been able to actually solve the problem; they can't mess with the city's pipes. However, Jayk's gave me the evidence I needed to persuade the city government to check their maps, realize that I actually did have a city water main in my yard, and send out a team to fix it, which was an entertaining production involving five or six jolly guys and a backhoe, but only about twice as much earth movement as that one guy from Jayk's did on his own by hand. Remarkable.

We needed a water heater for a while. When we called Jayk's they were at our home the same day. They did a very clean professional job. We would have Jayk's take care of all our plumbing needs.

Water leak in front yard. Started out like most plumbing jobs - talked to a plumber on Sunday then waited at home all day Monday for him to call or show up. Of course, neither. Tuesday morning I called Jayk's. He was there in less than half an hour, shovel in hand. He patched the water line, zip, zip, then stayed quite a while to check and insure there wasn't another small leak. Charge was quite reasonable for what I would call emergency response.
We left the hole open so I could continue to watch for accumulation. By late afternoon Wednesday, after a few light showers,there were a couple of inches in the bottom of the hole. I called and said they had missed one. They spent another hour on Thursday checking both water and sewer lines. No problems found. Its apparently just ground water seepage, thank goodness. But wait! No charge for the second visit! So if you're looking for someone who cares about your problem and about what it should cost to fix, call these guys. I certainly will.

Jayk's saved me $1700.00. I had an initial plumber tell me I needed $2000.00 worth of work done. Luckily I called Jayk's they recommend a repair instead of a total replacement. Thanks for everything.

My main sewer line was clogged causing all of my drains to back up, I found Jason and Jose after some Googling. After a quick chat with Jason, Jose was at my door a couple hours later. The job required my sewer line under my house to be cleared out and cleaned, which Jose banged out in no time. My line is cast iron and had a seized up access port, so Jose also replaced that section with brand new parts. He was very informative and a truly standup guy. Even better, the job cost less than what I was prepared for just a basic Rooter job to cost. Can't recommend these guys enough, stop looking and call Jayk's.

The technician, Lou, arrived as scheduled. He asked questions, listened patiently, made some adjustments and offered advice at no charge. Holding back 5th star until his advice pans-out but am pleased Jayk's business

Today is New Year’s Day! We have company in town. One of our toilets stopped flushing. I contacted Jason based on reviews; as I have a longtime plumber who is scheduled for tomorrow—I needed a plumber today! Jason came out. He was very professional and efficient from the start. Great rates! Will contact him again!

We’ve used several different plumbers in the area over the past 8 years, and I wish I had called Jayk’s the first time. We had a massive sewer line that needed replacing for almost a year as it was hanging over our heads as we were originally quoted about $6000 over 3 days of work. Finally, we decided to try one last plumber and Jayks was the winner.

The plumber, José, and his partner were professional and friendly and showed up right when they said they would. They dug a large 6’ hole by hand, removed and repaired the damaged sewer line (tree roots), and filled it in all in one day. They also did it at a fraction of the cost we were originally quoted. I can’t recommend Jayk’s enough - they communicate via text mostly which is great, but are always friendly on the phone as well.

In particular, I want to give a shout out to José. This young man is awesome. He has fixed a few things for us in the past month and gets the job done every time. He even has gone above and beyond to paint and seal in bathroom areas where there was damage. He deserves a raise!

After we discovered we had a broken water heater early in the morning, I scrambled to find someone that could install a new one that day. I was given Jayk's phone number around noon and Jayk had his technicians to the house that afternoon. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one in just a few hours for a very reasonable price.

Jayk came to my new home in a pinch and saved my home closing date. He is smart, friendly, and efficient. He quickly determined that someone had not turned the main water valve on all the way. Have used Jayk’s on 3 different occasions, and each time has been great. Latest call was last minute, just a week before the Christmas holiday. They were able to fit us in and didn’t charge extra. Always punctual with clear pricing up front, and we’ve always been pleased with the quality of their work.

In the middle of a cold snap, I get a sewer backup. Jayk was the only one who would respond after what had probably been a long cold day. Instead of ending his workday, he added one more stop, in the cold and dark, he fixed the issue. To top it all off, he was beyond nice. Highly recommend him!

We called to have our garbage disposal replaced. Jayk's set up an appointment to do it and showed up right on time. Abel drove to Lowe's to purchase the exact disposal we wanted and installed it for us. He had to reroute and install some new piping to prevent some of the problems we'd exdperienced with our old unit due to poor pipe routing design, not to mention we went from a 1/3 HP unit to a full 1 HP unit. The whole thing came out perfect and works like a charm. Abel was a true professional and did a great job.
This is the second time we've used Jayk's. They installed a new water heater for us a year ago. They do a great job at a reasonable price. If we have any other plumbing issues we will call on them.

Our toilet in our half bath was leaking around the base. I tried getting in touch with other plumbers for weeks and they all flaked out on us. I called Jayk's this morning and they were out the same day to fix it! The price couldn't be beat either. I'll definitely be calling them again next time we need a plumber.

This is a novel of a review, but the TL;DR version is...use Jayk’s!! They offer professional, quick, affordable and quality work!!!

A month ago, our toilet was leaking water from the base. I called a company that could come within the hour, let’s call them RR, and they sent a tech out. He was speedy, but all he did was replace the wax ring and reset the toilet.

Yesterday, the same issue occurred and I called RR, but they refused to honor the warranty on the work, which the technician assured me that we had before he left.

Later that evening, all hell broke broke loose after washing a load of clothes—sewage came spewing up from out shower, the second toilet in the house started leaking from the base, flooding the bathroom and a pipe under the house began leaking water.

I was desperate for a reliable and experienced plumber, and my father in law recommended Jayk’s, which he had heard about from a friend. I’m so thankful the recommendation!! Our appointment was today at 12, but luckily, he was able to get here sooner. After explaining the issue, he asked follow up questions to help diagnose the issue and began working on unclogging our main sewer drain. I was able to leave him to his work while I did other things around the house. He finished in about an hour or so and ran the washer and sinks to be sure everything was running clearly.

Unfortunately, RR did a botch job in reassembling our toilet, so he had to take a break and go purchase extra parts to fix it!! He was amazed at how poorly the job was done, as was I, since it was not a cheap fix.

Our plumbing is working beautifully now, there are no leaks, no sewer backups, the toilet is fixed properly and he left the bathroom clean. I’m so happy and recommend Jayk’s 100%.

We called Jayk’s on a Thursday morning and they were able to come to our house that afternoon. Our disposal had been wonky and we were having leaks under the sink. They were able to diagnose the problem and install new pipes that afternoon. Both technicians wore masks the entire time. They were knowledgeable, professional, efficient and kind. We will certainly call on Jayk’s when our 1987 house starts acting up again!

On New Years Eve, I discovered my water heater had been leaking/spraying how water. I immediately shut every valve, turned off the water and taped the leak. I reached out to every local plumber with good reviews and BBB accredited and Jayk was the only one who responded/kept 2-way dialogue going. Originally they said they couldn’t make it out until Tuesday but after trading messages Sunday and realizing the urgency, they were able to send Ephraim & Abel out Monday morning (ahead of schedule). I can not thank them enough-definitely a reliable company and I would absolutely recommend them!

Needed a pressure reducing valve installed and Jose was great. Figured out the problem and had it installed in no time. Also got a leaky toilet fixed up while he was out. Jayk's did my hot water heater last year too and I'll be coming back to them for the next plumbing issue.

Jose came out for a leaking kitchen faucet. He arrived exactly on time and quickly found out there was just a loose piece and nothing needed to be replaced. He was kind enough to not charge for the service and relieved a lot of stress from expecting an expensive repair. Very professional and down to earth service, I will definitely be coming back to Jayk's for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Jason did an amazing job installing our new Kohler sink and Moen touchless faucet. He pointed out little dents on the sink that were probably from the shipment and he did a great job of addressing this and trying to compensate for this during installation.

We also used Jason again when we had to get new toilets installed. We bought the toilets from Lowe's and they contracted out the installation to another company who sent out a guy that was completely incompetent and said that the toilets could not be installed due to some leveling issues and that we should renovate all 3 of our bathrooms. We called Jason shortly after and he took a look and said that it would be no problem installing the toilets and that the other guy simply did not want to do the work. For this project, two of Jason's employees installed all 3 toilets and tested each several times to ensure there was no leakage.

Overall our experience with Jason has been absolutely wonderful. He is such a nice guy to talk to and will give you honest opinions about the project at hand. You can expect good, quality plumbing from Jason and his team!

I've used Jayk's twice - once to install a toilet, and once to help with a smelly sink faucet - I received fantastic service both times, and would highly recommend Jayk for your plumbing needs. He was friendly, helpful and informative, and more than reasonably priced. I also have a couple friends who have used his services in the past, and were very happy with him.

10 star Rating. Jayk's should be your first call. Awesome customer service, fast repair times and best of all the job gets done right the first time. This has been the BEST experience I have had in dealing with plumbing companies. I manage a rental property and needed a repair for the tenant. It was beyond my knowledge. I called Jayk's on a Friday afternoon. After calling multiple companies and getting the we can come out on Saturday for double the price or we can't make it until next week answers. I left a voicemail and within less than 5 minutes Jason called me back asking about the issue. I explained the situation and text him a few photos. He arrived quickly after and had the problem fixed with as minimal damage to ceiling and drywall as possible. Not only that but his price was cheaper than the others who quoted me for a job they couldn't even do until after the weekend. Jason was very polite and did not belittle me for not being able to get the job done. Jason at Jayk's will be my first call from now on. Truly one of a kind service.

Had a leak under the sink. Showed up early. Jose and his partner were very professional. Wore gloves and mask and booties. Identified the problem and gave me options. Gave me a reasonable price. Work they did looks great and didn't take long. No wasted time. Will definitely call next time!

We had a bad main line clog (couldn't use any water in our house without it backing up). My husband called that morning and someone was able to come out to investigate and fix the issue that day. The price was reasonable for all the labor involved. We greatly appreciate being able to use our water again. Thank you!

Great experience! Very friendly, reasonably priced. He did some work while I wasn't able to be home and sent photos to show me the work and even checked in to make sure everything was good once I got home. Great job, great service. Will definitely be recommending him to everyone locally.

We've worked with Jayk's multiple times and been pleased with each interaction. Today I called around 8a about a clogged drain. Jayk's had a friendly, efficient technician on site by 9:30a. It became clear that the issue really required a larger repair, but the technician explained the options and gave me an accurate estimate of the cost. The repair was complete by 1p.

Communication, customer service from owner one star

I had a water emergency, called Jason who came out the same day. After a thorough assessment he took care of a 10 year old headache in less than an hour. Definitely recommend and will continue to use. Excellent business and customer service!

When the house that I bought started having severe plumbing problems withing a few weeks (toilet, tub and washer) with water pouring into the basement, I chose Jayks because they were local to my neighborhood and had great reviews. Couldn't be more happy. Lou quoted me a price as soon as he came in about what it would cost if he could use the smaller snake ($250) and what it would be if the clog was more severe and they had to call in the big guns ($450). Mine needed the big guns because it was clogged all the way to the street. He was here for over 5 hours clearing my drain out to the street so I'd have functioning plumbing again. I think many plumbers would have upcharged or just given up. Lou was also super nice and helped me inspect my attic and we had fun (waiting for the pipe to drain enough to get in there) figuring out how my antique Singer could be repaired. Won't go with anyone else EVER.
