He was very careful to maintain the highest safety and health protocols. He even wrapped the wheels of the motorized snake he used, to protect our floors when he rolled it in. I wanted to write about a recent positive experience I had with CK's Plumbing. In October 2013 I had a section of old gray PVC pipe replaced by CK's to repair a small leak under the house. In early November the new piping separated from the old piping around 8:00 PM one night and on one of the coldest nights of the season. This happened because the older PVC deteriorated around the area where the new piping was attached. Not the fault of CK's plumbing work.

My house is heated with an Apllo HydroHeat system which means it will not work without the hot water running, so I called the company to seek help. The owner of the company, Chris, came over himself with 30 minutes of my call and repaired the section of piping. Even though it was clear that the problem was with the old piping, Chris did not charge me for the visit. Wonderful customer service!

We had used CK's earlier in the year to replace piping under our bathroom sink and they did an excellent job with that project.

I have found CK's plumbing to be responsive, technically efficient, and reasonably priced for their services and would highly recommend them!

When I needed some plumbing issues addressed, my Mom recommended CK's Plumbing as they had done work for her and her neighbors and she really liked them. I'm so glad I called them - everyone I worked with was friendly and professional, from the office staff to the technicians. They were able to fix the issues at our house, explained things we had questions about, and the price was very reasonable. I will not hesitate to call them again for any future plumbing work.

We submitted a request via their website and received a call back the very next morning. Someone came out to give us a quote the next day, and we promptly received the proposal that same day. They were able to schedule it the day after that and the work was completed successfully. Their responsiveness and professionalism were top notch.

Tim replaced several bathroom faucets and a shower fixture for us. He and his partner were very professional. They came on time, were courteous, made sure everything was done properly and gave me a couple of tips for taking care of the new fixtures. I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

We could not be more pleased with Jerry & Raymond. We had other quotes from plumbers who said we had to replace a lot of parts in the shower and toilets or replace them altogether. However, these plumbers were honest and fixed everything without replacing anything. They explained everything that they were doing and the pros/cons to each choice. We were so impressed with them that we will not use anyone else ever again. Nice to know honest people are still out there!

Wow am I pleased with CK's work. 5 stars isn't enough. Bob and his helper came out in an emergency I had from the Lowe's delivery guy breaking a water line inside my tiled wall. The fee was very reasonable. They are now my life plumbers . The folks in the office are great too.

Lifesaver! They were so responsive during a late night Plumbing emergency and came right out to my house within 30 minutes. I sent pictures and they coached me through providing as much information as possible so they could come prepared with parts, which they did! They were kind, professional, clean and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Their rates are competitive with anyone else but the value is far greater with CK's Plumbing. The Owner came out himself to take care of me and I couldn't be more appreciative.

I have used this plumber for the last 3 years. I called because I had a problem with my hot water heater (no hot water). This was on a Wednesday morning, and I was told it would be the following Tuesday before they could come out....unless I wanted to pay to have someone come out after hours or on a weekend. The staff did not at all seem to care either. This company does not value their clients obviously.

hired them to replace some kitchen items as i didn't feel like dealing with it. pricing was reasonable and they were there first thing the next morning. sean and his helper were polite and thorough. sean also walked me through all changes and updates and made sure i fully understood all work done and was happy with the results. repeat business is the real rating for a company - and i'm already looking at some other items that i'll be giving them a call about soon.

I was about 10 minutes late meeting them at my house. My wife let them in to work on a few plumbing issues I had mentioned on the phone. By the time I got there, they had already assessed everything and were nearly finished! They were extremely fast, efficient, and friendly. I'll definitely call CK's the next time I need any plumbing help.

Nick/CK Plumbing came out when my son and I smelled gas in the house and around the basement where the new hot water heater had been installed. He was incredibly thorough to ensure there were no leaks and answered all of my questions, helping me to understand how everything worked. These guys are top notch especially Chris and Ray who are basically a dynamic duo. They did the whole house replumb from poly to pex, and installed a pedestal sink. Best crew I’ve dealt with.

I had a very small leak on my side of the water meter. Tim reviewed the job and provided an estimate, which I accepted. CK Plumbing contacted NC DIG so all utilities were marked in advance. They are very busy, but this was not an emergency so I was able to wait a week and a half for the work to be completed. Everything was competed within one morning. I had excellent, factual conversations with Tim and the young man working with him. Tim cut through a small storm drain pipe with the ditch witch and repaired it with a product that will probably last longer than the original storm plastic. They rerouted the piping from under the driveway across the front of the house to the side of the house, which is extremely practical. I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

Fast, professional, friendly, and reasonably priced... Chris from CK's Plumbing installed a natural gas tankless hotwater heater for me this weekend and there aren't enough words to express how pleased I am with the service received. I am so glad I did not let the gas company do the installation as they would have charged a fortune and probably wouldn't have shown up so quickly. The next time I have a plumbing or gas service need, Ck's Plumbing is who I will call.

I discovered an emergency issue with my water heater on a Monday afternoon. CK's Plumbing was able to send someone out same day. Kyle called to let me know he was a few minutes away, within an hour of my original call. He quickly evaluated the situation, took steps to prevent any further damage to my home, made sure I had access to at least cold water overnight, gave me an estimate and got the replacement scheduled for first thing the next morning. Kyle called the next morning, promptly arrived when he said he would, quickly and efficiently replaced the water heater, and made sure I knew where the new cutoff valve and heat control were. Kyle was very polite and respectful and was a pleasure to do business with.

Tim came out and was extremely professional and thorough. Tim quickly identified the issue with our shower and suggested it may be covered by insurance. Because of Tim’s recommendation, our family has likely saved thousands of dollars!

I would just like to reiterate to Kyle how appreciative my boyfriend and I really are. After dealing with a plumbing issue for two months now, toilet fixed and then all new materials reinstalled in the toilet and the City of Raleigh being called numerous times, we are now pretty confident that our nightmare has finally gone away. What we thought would be a nice and peaceful weekend, ended up being two COR employees and two other plumbers evaluating a situation in the course of 24 hours and we could tell nobody really wanted to claim ownership and truly fix the problem. However, after finding CK's plumbing and reading all the wonderful reviews, finally today SuperKyle came to save the day. As previous reviews stated, he was very friendly on the phone and just as friendly in person. He came and was quickly able to diagnose the problem. He didn't mind getting down right dirty to make sure we were completely satisfied. I even joked with him and told him that if I ever needed to dig for gold, he would be the first person I called. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and very professional. I had no doubt in my mind that he couldn't get the job done. Although having to get super muddy by having to put almost his entire body in a very small space and not to mention during the coldest day of the week, he was still very nice and very patient with us. I went my gut feeling on this one after reading the reviews and I'm so glad I did! I will be contacting CK's plumbing again if I ever have a plumbing issue and I highly recommend Kyle for any plumbing issue that you may be experiencing as I don't believe there's any job too big that Kyle wouldn't be able to handle!

Ray and Chris at CK plumbing were extremely professional and helped to save me time and money by diagnosing a problem that was due to faulty equipment that was the town's responsibility. I have used CK plumbing in the past for an emergency with frozen pipes and they're very quick to come and fix all your plumbing needs at very reasonable prices.

They have great customer service. The team that has worked with me is knowledgeable, fair and the pricing is very reasonable. I love their attention to detail. They fixed a plumbing issue I had with my sewer pipe in the house leading out to the yard. They did such a great job and made me feel at ease. Not just out to run up my bill. I have since used them to replace a wall hung toilet in the basement, put in a new water heater, take care of some minor plumbing work with an upstairs bathroom sink. I will call them for my future projects.

Jerry and Raymond came yesterday to assess a drainage issue. They returned right when they said this morning and took care of the problem quite efficiently. They were easy to communicate with and explained everything they were doing. They were also upfront about pricing throughout the process which is always great! From my first call into their office to the clean-up after the sewer repair, CK's made an unfortunate situation as positive as possible. Chris the owner, Bob the Service Manager/Crew Chief, the repair crew and the people I spoke with in the office were all friendly, professional and helpful.

Not only was their bid to repair our sanitary tee and 10' of sewer line essentially the lowest of 4 we received (one company was $100 lower), their whole approach to the job produced a comfort level that went beyond the price.

For both the estimate survey and the repair they arrived on-time and both times they provided a we're on our way call as promised. While I hope you never need a sewer repair, if you do I highly recommend you contact CK for a quote.

I used them to install a tankless water heater, and had them over to do maintenance on it. Spent $3000+ on it. Now when I ask them to come over and give me another estimate, they want to charge me a visit fee. Just unprofessional and poor judgement on how to retain a client.

Oh my. THE BEST.

We woke up to water spewing with force from a pipe in the crawl space. We called CK's and they arrive in 7 minutes. SEVEN MINUTES ON A SATURDAY. That's SERVICE! Jerry arrives, quickly shuts off water at the curb and is able to replace the part very quickly.

We've used CK's before and always liked them. But calling them on a Saturday and having them show up in 7 minutes is simply incredible. We will recommend them to everyone!

Kyle and his assistant (unfortunately I did not get his name) did an awesome job of fixing some plumbing issues (valves crapping out on some sinks/water main not working properly) that popped up in our home that we had recently purchased (isn't that always the way?) They showed up promptly, got right to work and did a great job - even cleaning up. I felt they were honest/straight forward - they clearly explained what they did and demonstrated the function of them.

Jerry was the technician who came to install a new water heater and was very informative on the new system and very polite. His customer service was great! I had noticed water leaking at the back corner of my house and called CK’s Plumbing to help investigate the issue. After making an appointment, Kyle and his assistant, Anthony arrived on time and were quick to diagnose the problem. There was leak in a pipe carrying hot water from my water heater into the house. Kyle was able to fix the leak and re-pipe the line without moving the water heater from its position. I am very happy with the work that was performed and the repairs that were made. granted at first glance a 5 star rating may come across as somewhat over-enthusiastic but considering service in today's america, i'm very impressed! these guys came in and replaced 4 lavatory cartridges, adjusted a 5th in the kitchen that i buggered up then put a screw in a outdoor faucet knob that was missing in under an hour.

kyle was all business and just got it done while explaining how the moen warranty works on parts should i need a part in the future. hell, the knowledge alone was worth service charge! keep in mind their professionalism when i mention that he and his partner both wore booties so as not to dirty the carpets.

Do not hire this company to do any gas work. We had a kitchen remodel done and they were to do the gas line for our new stove. Our remodel came and went perfectly, however, we still do not have a stove that works. It has been 3 weeks and they still have not connected it. In fact, they just (finally) passed inspection after many fails. They might be okay for regular plumbing work, but I have been totally disappointed in their knowledge of gas line work.

It was easy to make an appt., they stuck to their time window and did a great job installing our new garbage disposal.

We had a sink disposal start to leak, so I spared my Wife from any failed DIY plumbing attempts and called CK's Plumbing & Backflow. Sean from CK's Plumbing & Backflow came out to replace it and both drain baskets, and he did an excellent job at a fair price. If you need plumbing service, I recommend that you call CK's Plumbing & Backflow. We had the interior of our house re-piped and a tankless water heater installed yesterday. I used this company because a friend recommended them after her excellent experience with a house re-pipe.
This company is top notch. From my first call to schedule an estimate, onsite consultation with Bob Dunn, emails to Bob and Megan with questions, scheduling with Megan, and team of plumbers and electricians who worked here, the process was extremely efficient and seamless. The service provided by everyone was extraordinary.
I especially appreciated how respectful and friendly everyone was. Everyone took time to answer our questions, some of which did not relate directly to the plumbing work being done. They also explained options on the water heater and gave us some tips. For example, the person in charge of the installation process was Tim. He suggested that I take pictures of the new plumbing before it was dry-walled in order to have a record of the location of the pipes. He also spoke very highly of Ck's and of the way his bosses treated him and his company employees. Firms that are competent, efficient, and who respect both their employees and customers are hard to find, but this description fits this firm. These are the type of people that I like to work with.

CK's came to my home to remove a faucet that we were having trouble getting removed, and installing a new one. The guys that came to my house were very nice and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions, and did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We have used Cks for a couple of years now and we would never call anyone else. Nick came today and repaired our gas water heater. He was actually earlier than the time originally given to me, but called to make sure it was convenient. He also called when he encountered a wreck to let me know where he was and an anticipated time. He was very professional and kept me informed of his progress. He stayed long enough to insure that we had hot water. The scheduling process was also very positive. I called the office after hours and the woman was extremely professional and friendly. She texted first thing this morning to let me know that they had the part and could schedule today or tomorrow. They gave me the price via text so there would be no surprises. These guys were the only plumbing company to answer our distressed crisis call on a Sunday morning. We had a solution by the afternoon and a total fix by Tuesday. They were honest, efficient, knowledgeable, quick and kind. They had fair prices. I will absolutely use them again in the future, I just hope I don't have to!! CK's replaced our 13 yr old water heater. The owner Chris was the one who came for the estimate and was the one who replaced the old water heater and installed the new water heater. The price I paid was not the lowest estimate that I received but Chris was very professional and performed the work himself in a timely, neat fashion. I would hire CK's again.

Chris and Ray were super helpful - not only changing our water filter but helping me better understand the process. They also provided expert advice on other plumbing questions and on the general upkeep of the system in our 1960s house.

Clearly five stars. They responded with a phone call about 10 minutes after I contacted them by email about a water heater issue. We were thinking that we need to replace it and were ready to spend the money on a tankless system. The technician looked at the problem and found that replacing the overflow system would resolve the issue. Did that within a couple of hours - He had to go to the office to get a new one, came back and repaired it. Great job. Would recommend them to anyone who cares about quality service.

Came out today to replace our hot water heater. At first he didn't have the right type of heater. Was going off of property owner info. Got leaking heater drained and removed. Went back to his shop and found the one we needed. Came back out and did not give up till he got the heater finished. Also did not mind us watching him throughout the entire job. The gas water heater replacement was preformed in a very professional manner. Installation looks clean and functional. Kyle made sure that we understood what he was doing and why. Upon completion, Kyle showed us how to operate the system. This was the second time we have had CK'sPlumbing service our system and we have been completely satisfied both times. Highly recommended.

CK's is my go to plumbing company - they've never given me a reason to use anyone else. I've used them on 3-4 separate occasions (toilet flushing issues, broken shower faucet, and even installed an outdoor underground gas line), and they've always been able to send a technician out quickly, have always fixed the issue on the first visit, and have very good prices compared to other plumbing companied I've used in the past (the gas line in particular was substantially less expensive than other bids that I got).

Andrew came out this morning to repair a shower faucet that was broken and wouldn't stop running, and he was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, and fixed/installed the new part quickly. He definitely helped reduce my stress level for the rest of the day by fixing our problem so quickly. I'd recommend CK's to anyone.

This was my first time ever having to call a plumber, and CK Plumbing got the job done right in no time flat. The gentlemen on the job were courteous, efficient, and explained everything they were doing. They even helped out with an unrelated problem and fixed a shaky toilet base that’s been there since installation. 10 out of 10 would recommend again!

A pipe burst under my elderly mother's house and a friend was able to deal with it temporarily, but I knew I needed to have a professional check it out. Because I don't live in Raleigh, I checked online for a plumber and was impressed with the consistent 5-star rating of CK's Plumbing. I am very happy to say that we experienced the same 5-star service. Besides doing the repair, I was interested in professional feedback on the state of the house's other pipes and my concern was that a disreputable plumber would take advantage of this opportunity to talk me into replacing pipes unnecessarily. That didn't happen with CK's. I got good advice and excellent service at a reasonable price. Hopefully, we won't need a plumber again any time soon, but I know who we'll always call if necessary. I just wish CK's serviced my city!

Nick was amazing! Our 13 year old water heater started failing and leaking today. We wanted to make sure to address it quickly and found CK Plumbing based on the positive reviews. Nick answered when I called even though it was getting late on a Sunday and came out very quickly. He was fast, courteous, wore a mask and shoe covers, and cleaned up after himself. We are incredibly happy with our service and will only use CK going forward.

They were able to arrive the next day to hook up the gas line to my pool heater. Nick was prompt, polite, and did a great job.

So impressed with these guys! I needed my whole house repiped from polyb to PEX. Not only was CK's price great but they executed the entire project (3 stories, 4 bathrooms) in one day. We called CK’s plumbing to replace our 15 year old crawlspace water heater. Chris and Ray came out, took a look and informed us that it probably wasn’t possible to do a like for like replacement since our crawlspace opening was too small to fit any of the water heaters they carried. Instead of trying to upsell us on a solution, they honored the originally quoted price and were able to relocate the new water heater to our garage. So responsive and profession! Before he arrived, Chris gave me a call to let me know he was on the way. He easily diagnosed the issue causing my leak and then provided me with multiple options for fixing, approximate timelines and estimated charge. He was fantastic!

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE:ABSOLUTELY NOT. THE OWNER DID NOT CARE ABOUT MY PREDICAMENT. I had a problem with no hot water in my house on Thursday. I called CK Plumbing on the recommendation of a local heating repairman, whom was working in the neighborhood. They temporarily fixed the problem I had, but after a while, the pilot light and the flame, went out. I called the company at 7:45 a.m. the following morning, and spoke to the owner, he said I should call the office at 8:00 a.m. because he was on his way out I called the office at 8:00 a.m. and was told by the lady answering the phone that she would call me back soon. Two and 1/2 hours later, I had to call again because she had not called and told me she was working on it. The plumber did come around 5:15 that afternoon. He re-lit the pilot and left the unit running. We went out and came back a couple of hours later and again, the pilot and flame went out.

Saturday morning, I called the company and again, spoke to the owner whom said he would get back to me because he needed to talk to the plumber about the problem. He called me back about an hour later and said that he would need to order parts on Monday at a cost of about $ 350 or I would have to replace the heater. Today is Monday, February 23rd, the time 5:00 p.m. and I have yet to hear from this company. Problem has been fixed by another company.

Outstanding experience. I had some issues with my water heater and home shut off valve addressed. Jerry not only came out and fixed the problems but also took the time to explain things to me and answer all my questions. Great customer service and workmanship. I absolutely recommend this company for anyone with plumbing needs.

I had plumbing work done today by Bob and his coworker Frank. They arrived promptly, got to work right away, were very courteous the entire visit and even took the time to communicate by phone with my husband as he was unable to be here for the service visit. The work included replacing a filter housing and relocating it to our garage (per my husband's request). The completed work looked amazing and they cleaned up any and all mess created in the relocation. I was very impressed with their work, how quickly it was done and the professional manner in which it was done. I'm so delighted to have clear water again coming into my house from our well!! CK's provided prompt emergency service to resolve a water leak. This was the first time I used this company. Tim was very polite and knowledgeable. Called CK's after being left without a kitchen sink late on a Friday afternoon after a granite install left more work than expected. Chris said he would do his best to get out ASAP! First thing Saturday morning I received a call from Kyle saying he was about 45 min. away!

I called at 5pm with a hot water heater that had just failed. I received a quote, agreed on price and he was on site by 6:45pm. Had the new tank installed, old one loaded up and was gone. Ray and Chris were out to do 3 tasks: fix hot water shut-off valve on bathroom sink, flush the 3yr old water heater CKs installed in 2019, and change out pressure valve to house ( was 25yo). We had a tankless heater and softener system installed by Bob and Andrew back in April. Day of service was wonderful, they kept my house clean and made sure everything worked well and looked nice.

Andrew has since gone above and beyond to make sure everything is working well, we had some water leaking when our softener was regenerating and he came by late after a long work day to make sure the system was right for us! We couldn’t appreciate him more!

Called at 7:30am, Chris and Ray were here by 9am. They identified and fixed a leak in my wall quickly. Both gentlemen were professional and efficient. Definitely recommend this company.

Juan and Shawn did a good job replacing my PRV. The price was expected and they were friendly and on time.

The toilet outflow pipe has a rubber collar connecting the pipe right from the toilet to the pipe leading to the septic main line. It is known as a FirmCo Collar. This collar slipped down so that some of the waste water was leaking under the house. I was unable to put it back myself because the two pipes did not match up perfectly.

When I made my appointment, I was asked how I had heard of them. When I mentioned it was through Angie's List, I was told to be sure to mention this at the time the invoice would be created for a 5% discount on labor.

The appointment was scheduled from 8 to 9am. At 8:35am they phoned me to let me know they would arrive in about 20 minutes. Two gentlemen from CK's arrived at around 9:05am.

They went under the house (crawlspace) and examined the issue. They then re-seated the collar and made sure the hose clamps were tight. Then they added a strap to the main pipe right under the collar to relieve any strain and hopefully prevent future issues.

They then had me flush the toilet five times and run water in the bathroom sink and tub to check for leaks. I was told the bathtub had a minor leak and that the piping for the tub had not be done correctly. I had previously detected a very minor leak in that area.

I was told that the amount it was leaking was not a serious issue and that it was up to me whether to fix it. I got an estimate to re-pipe the tub of $400. It is unlikely this will be done but I am now aware of the issue and can watch for it and decide in the future what to do.

Overall, I am very happy with the work done. Quick and professional service.

I'm surprised by the number of positive reviews on here. I got my toilets fixed systems replaced and they charged me $175 each. After they left I felt like I just got robbed. Sure enough I looked up prices of toilets and I could of bought 2 brand new ones for what I spent. Was considering using this company for our property management company but ill be staying away from CK plumbing.

Last Tuesday evening, my wife discovered that our water heater (at least 8 years old, probably closer to 10) was leaking. I emailed CK's at 10 that night for a quote and timeframe to get a new one installed.

9 am on Wednesday, they emailed me back with a good price and said they could be out here Thursday. Another company my wife contacted said they could be out in a week.

Thursday rolled around, and Chris and Ray came out right on the hour we set for the replacement. About an hour and a half later, they were done and on their way. They were friendly, courteous, quick, and professional.

We just had CK Plumbing do a huge repiping job for us, and I am so pleased with the work that they did. Their price was competitive, and they were very easy to work with and accommodating to the specific things we needed. I would highly recommend them.

CK's has been my plumbing go-to company for a few years. My latest need was a sewer line clog that recurred and needed video camera investigation. Kyle came out (on time) with the camera, identified the problem area quickly and was able to assess the extent of the repair that would be needed pretty easily since the broken pipe turned out to be only a few inches below the ground. It was a relief to finally know the cause of the problem. He scheduled the repair for two days later, was right on time for the appointment, and did the job quickly and painlessly. Then, he and his crew member put everything back in my garden exactly how it had been before they started the work, mulch included! (They saved the mulch in a bucket and put it back on top of the area they had dug up.) Excellent job, quick and efficient, and I must also note that everyone at CK's wears those little booties on their shoes so as not to track any dirt from their shoes in my house. Just wanted to note this because not all service companies do this, and homeowners really appreciate such a small but important business practice.

Update 2+ years later: I'm still using CK's for various plumbing needs and am still very pleased with their service. All plumbing technicians (as well as the gals in the office!) are great: knowledgeable/skilled, professional, courteous, respectful, and personable, too. Pricing is reasonable and for some tasks substantially lower than other companies. I will continue to use CK's and highly recommend this company.

They are very knowledgeable about their service and the prices are okay. They sent 2 men to look at my issue. They used a camera to assess the chronic plumbing issue and provided a quote for the long term fix.

I'll be as brief as possible. I have an AHS warranty. I contacted them 5-7-2022 with a failed water heater. Their contractor finally showed up 5-10 to confirm my water heater has failed. Fast forward past several requests to have it replaced... I finally decided to take it upon myself to find a replacement on my own because I was not getting a response from the AHS contractor. I called CK's Plumbing Friday 5-13 (six days without hot water) and spoke with their on call service tech, Chris. He took the time to explain all my options with CK's Plumbing & Backflow and offered to come over the weekend to replace my water heater. I decided I could wait until Monday 5-16 to schedule a replacement so as not to have to pay for weekend service work.

I called Monday AM and was told CK's would have someone sent to my home that same afternoon to replace the water heater. Chris (same gentleman I spoke with the previous Friday) and Raymond showed up two hours earlier than scheduled (when does that happen any more?!?) Those guys were awesome! They could not have been more professional and polite... answered all my questions, came up with a game plan (had to figure out how to get the larger/new water heater in the same space as the old/smaller unit), and carried on. The bonus was I got to listen to them squabble (in a joking manner) like a married couple.

I had contacted CK Plumbing last week to get a quote on a water heater and they were extremely helpful and quick. I did not know what type of water heater I even had, and they were so helpful, letting me take pictures of mine and telling me what I had. They quoted me and set me up for a date to get my new water heater installed. They didn't have the water heater I needed, so I bought the water heater and they went and picked it up for me, I didn't have to worry about going to get this heavy thing by myself. They were reasonably priced, helpful on all my questions, and Tim and Justin were on-time, called me when they were close, and kept me up-to-date on the process of putting in the water heater, if they needed to change anything, letting me know certain things, etc. CK Plumbing was absolutely fabulous and if I need anything else in the plumbing area, I definitely know who to call!

We had our hot water heater go out on a Tuesday morning. After a quick call, they were able to squeeze in a check between appointments. The device was on its last legs, so we chose to have it replaced (though they did offer to do a larger scale fix that would have extended the life a bit further). They did a quick fix so we had some hot water again, and then scheduled the full replacement for the very next day. Kyle arrived by 3:00pm, and even recognized our house (they had been out before). Excellent, polite service as always, putting on shoe covers whenever they came inside and knocking/ringing the doorbell even though I told them they could just come on in. Work was done by 4:30pm, with limited interruption. I was working from home and had no issues being productive while they were there. They even provided some tips on turning off/on the main water line for future. Planning to use them again in the near future for some additional work... glad we found them!

I am a multiple-time repeat customer, because I am so pleased with CK's Plumbing! Previously, the owner, Chris, has installed equipment for us. We have also had great service from other employees. I am pleased to report that this time, employees Kyle and Anthony also did excellent work! They replaced a BADLY rusted kitchen faucet which required careful extraction due to how badly the rust locked the old unit in place. The new unit (a free replacement from MOEN due to MOEN's limited lifetime warranty policy) looks terrific and works well !

I called ck's plumbing because I had a good experience with them in the past. However I called recently for a toilet leak in the guest room above my bedroom. I thought that it was fixed and so I went out for appt. I had. When I returned home I noticed there was water leaking from my bedroom ceiling. My husband went upstairs and noticed water leaking from a pipe leading from the water tank. We shut off the water supply. And guess what happened? After explaining to the rep. what happened it was going to cost us 150.00 service fee for them to return plus any additional supplies etc. for them to fix it. A waterline came loose under a vanity sink in my master bathroom. This resulted in most of my downstairs being flooded and the hardwood floors needing to be replaced/refinished. I contacted CK's Plumbing to do the plumbing work that was needed. Ray and Chris did the removal and reinstall of a toilet, sink, and dishwasher. They also replaced a pressure release valve and replaced all the faucets in the master bath vanity sinks and the soaker tub. They did an excellent job on all their work. I highly recommend them and the folks at CK's Plumbing.

Incompetent and a waste of money. I was having issues with my water heater and water pressure. When I called in I explained the issues to them they assured me they could help. They could not. They incorrectly identified my water heater as shot and needed replacement. It was not, it was simply leaking at the pipe connection and after hiring a competent plumber they replaced the connection and the water heater worked perfectly.

After explaining everything to them and giving explicit details I incorrectly assumed they would not need to be babied. I was wrong. Why you may ask? They said they didn't know where the well was shrugged and gave up.
1. A quick glance in the front yard would reveal the GIANT insulated fake rock obviously containing the top of the well casing.
2. That's not really even all that relevant, the tank and pressure switch are in the crawl space whose location and access I detailed over the phone.

TL;DR : They lied to me and charged me for nothing but coming out and giving misinformation.

C-K Plumbing re-piped our 3000 sq ft home in March 2020 replacing the polybutylene pipe with Pex. Beyond the piping, they installed toilets, shower and sink faucets, shut off values, pressure regulator and water heater leak shutoff. They completed the job in one day and their pricing was the best of the 3 quotes we received.

Our gas water heater died a quiet death late Thursday evening. With a holiday weekend and a major winter storm approaching we figured we were in for a long weekend of cold showers.

Only a few water heaters will fit with the venting system in our old house, so I had googled the model of our current heater to identify models of heater I knew would fit. CK’s plumbing was identified as a dealer for that brand of heater (State) and Angi’s list showed very good reviews for the company. (I had also called our usual plumber, but they were booked for the day, not surprisingly.)

I called CK’s just after 8 am Friday morning. The woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable about the particular dimensions of the heater we needed and was able to confirm the model I had identified should indeed work with our venting. She then told me they had just had a cancellation, would get the specific heater ready to go at their warehouse, and said a plumber would be at the house by 10:30. She also proved a quote on the installed price.

I was then called by Ray, the plumber who would come to the house, and we spent a few minutes discussing the details of the heater, how the current heater was installed, and he asked I text him a few pictures of our current set up.

To shorten a long story a bit, Ray and Chris arrived at our house at 10:30 and we had a new gas water heater installed and running by 11:30. Both Ray & Chris were very professional and provided a very good rundown of the work they had done, the equipment installed, and tips on maintenance. The price quoted was the price charged.

In the end, we must be living right to have a new water heater installed before lunch the same day we called, but regardless CK’s Plumbing did a great job for us.

for repair. Tim and his partner came out the same day for inspection and returned for repairs the following week. Tim answered our many questions about the process. He was careful maneuvering the installation around the irrigation system as well as the landscaping. The whole process was seamless and efficient.

I had CK's rebuild the tank for the guest toilet and take care of other small issues. I was very pleased with the work. The guys arrived on time and did an awesome job. Great service and price. I will call CK's again if needed and I highly recommend them.

Kyle showed up on time on a Saturday. He was very professional and thorough in checking out our water problem. We had no water flowing from our well. It turned out to be a failed well pump plus a couple of other hookup problems. Kyle connected us to a neighbors outside faucet so we had water until he could return on Monday with a new pump. Had an issue getting hot enough water and we figured since our water heater was 14 years old it was starting to go. So I called CK and he came out pretty quick for us. The plumber was really cool and clean cut. He took one look at our water heater and got in there and found our issue. Adjusted a part behind the machine I didn't know existed and gave me an easy to understand explanation and even complemented whoever had originally installed the machine, saying it was a good job because of this and that procedure, which means he more than likely has good work ethic as well. Wanted to give CK a shout out because jobs like this are usually a shot in the dark with who to call! This is based off of one experience btw, but when our unit does crap out finally we will call them again.

Tim and Juan came out to repair a leak in our shower and gave us several options on how to perform the repair based on our budget and the level of effort for the work. They were on time, did a great job communicating the problem and proposed solutions, and were able to fix our leak quickly and efficiently. We have used CK's for various repairs and they have always been great. Their prices are reasonable and they definitely make an effort to accommodate customers facing an expensive repair. I would definitely recommend CK's if you have a plumbing issue.

Jerry and Bryson were awesome. Super professional and knew exactly what to do. Not only was the clog removed, they sealed off the drain above and below the sink. I've discovered that when the line from the house to the street backs up it is truly a mess. These folks came out on a late Friday afternoon, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. That's all I could ask for, but I got someone easy to work with too.

I've now used CK 3 separate times and been impressed every time. This time it was the main sewer line. I got to actually watch the camera go down the pipe. Now it's unclogged and I know exactly what everything looks like down there and what the weaknesses of it are. Very affordable, quick, and professional.

Again, it was very simple to set up an appointment (there was only ~3h between my call and them arriving) and they were quick and professional in repairing my water heater. CK's Plumbing repiped all of the old polybutylene piping in my house with PEX. I had a good impression of them from day one when a tech came out to my house for the quote; he was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything they would do during the service, and the quote was very reasonable. They also had a much faster turnaround time than any of the other companies I spoke with and were able to schedule the repipe within a couple of weeks rather than several months out like I was told by another company. They replaced all of the pipes in my house in a single day. I had one small issue (a leak behind my fridge) following the repipe and they sent out a tech promptly the next day to fix it, and I've had no issues since. Due to an issue with my water meter shutoff valve, and to no fault of their own, they were not able to replace most of the pipes in my crawlspace the same day they replaced the pipes inside my house. Their office staff was very patient and understanding as I worked to get the shutoff valve fixed, which took me a few months due to a misunderstanding with the city and my HOA (their was a dispute over who the water meter valve belonged to). When I finally had the shutoff valve fixed, CK's promptly replaced the remaining piping in my crawlspace in just a couple of hours. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable and professional team.

Kyle and his team did a great job in replacing the water main valve, all kitchen and bathroom faucets and fixing a leaking bathroom tub. The work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Kyle and his team were professional and very helpful in explaining of any potential problems. I would definitely use CK Plumbing’s services again in the near future.

Great experience using their service as a first time customer. Chris and Ray were extremely professional and easy to work with. Both were very friendly and assisted me with my clogged garbage disposal. They also gave me tips on how to unjam and prevent future clogs in the disposal. On Sunday night, December 1, 2013 discovered a flood of water under sink from garbage disposal. So we've been using CK's for a couple of years now and have been immensely satisfied with their work and their customer service. Their office staff are very polite and easy to reach. Their estimates are reasonable, easy to obtain and, I believe, free. And all of their plumbers and helpers we've interacted with have been kind, professional and very helpful. We hired them for the first time after a different plumber we'd used before became difficult to reach and their office staff just left us hanging. Since then we've actually had to hire them to re-plumb our entire town home. (We had some old polybutylene piping break and our insurance carrier said they'd drop us if we didn't have it removed and made any further claims.) They were very kind and helpful as that was a stressful process and they got the work completed in time and on budget. We did contact a second reputable plumber to compare pricing - the total costs were close to 10K dollars - and when the second plumber came in a little lower they agreed to come down and match that price. Which was great because we were very happy with their previous work but just needed to be responsible given the huge scope and cost of our work. Anyway, I'd highly recommend them if you are looking for a plumber.

Had a water heater leak and was quoted a ridiculous price by another plumbing service. I called CK’s Plumbing and Bob came out to the house, inspected the situation and gave me a quote immediately.
Sean and Dom came to my house to install a water heater a few days later, I was getting the heater from elsewhere. They arrived at the time they said they would. They did a phenomenal job- super clean and efficient job in installing the heater and in replacing the pressure reducing valve. But the big surprise here is the level of quality and the final cost was the same as I was quoted by Bob. Thank you Sean and thank you Dom.

Two days ago - CK's Andrew & Dom showed up on time, introduced themselves, and went right to work replacing my water heater. The new water heater works perfectly, and the price was as proposed. Before they left they explained certain functions of the new water heater, and ensured that the area was at least as clean as it was when they arrived. Excellent. I have found my new plumber!

I had a series of plumbing issues and C did a great job on all of them. They are prompt, polite, and willing to work hard to finish the job in a satisfactory and very reasonably priced way. We have used this company before and now would call no one else. These people are great. Kyle has been especially terrific and will not leave until the end result is perfect. I would not think of using anyone else other than CK.

Bit of an overdue review - CK's Plumbing came out November '22 after we found an issue with our hot water heater. They had me provide some information about our existing HWH so they could be prepared for either repair or replacement. We ended up replacing it due to the age and type of leak. Tim and Justin were excellent with keeping me informed and working both quickly and neatly. In only a couple hours, we were set up again. 2016 -- Initial Review: Being new to Raleigh, we had no idea who to call for our plumbing needs. I called Chris at CK's for an estimate on a Sunday to replace our 50 gallon gas hot water tank that had sprung a leak. Not only did he answer personally on the weekend, but told us we were being grossly overcharged. We had gotten a free estimate that was over $1,000 more for the same job from a highly publicized national company (their name rhymes with tota-tooter). We were going out of town the next weekend and it was important that we get the issue taken care of immediately before it got out of control and flooded our house. They squeezed us in the very next day -- Chris came personally to do the job -- and were done in less than two hours. Thank you, Chris! We now have found our go-to plumber! I could not recommend this company enough!!

2022 Update -- On Saturday night we had our toilet spring a leak in our downstairs half bath. It flooded half of the house. We couldn't even turn the shut off valve the whole way off because of it. I called CK's on Monday morning. By 1:00 pm they came, fixed, the issue and left. Chris and Matt are the best!!

Juan and Michael showed up exactly on time. They immediately found the root cause of the issue, gave me a reasonable quote and made the fix and install very quickly. They also resolved another issue we have been having and gave a few helpful pointers to us. Overall 5 stars, we will be using again but hopefully we wont need to.

Unfortunately, my hot water heater decided to go out the day before it snowed. Of course I didn't find out till 6:30pm that night. We recently discovered that our hot water heater had blown up under the house and was blowing hot water all over. I called CK Plumbing that morning and they quickly came out within a couple hours to evaluate the situation and returned with a replacement water heater. The employee's that showed up were courtious, clearly explained the best course of action, how much it would cost and how quickly they could do the needed work. From the time I called to finish was about 5 hours which is great when calling at the last minute right before the holiday weekend. I can't recommend them enough. I am extremely happy with their work and will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs I might have.

I've had two great experiences with CK's Plumbing in the past year. Last summer, Chris and his team replaced a tank water heater in my attic with an exterior tankless water heater. This month, Sean fixed a leak in our upstairs bathroom. A very professional team, responsive, and services are reasonably priced. I'm very happy to have found CK's and would highly recommend their services.

We had a leak under our house and called CK's based on recommendations from neighbors. They had to come out several times for what we learned were deteriorating pipes. Today Nick and Blaine came out to replace all the pipes tied to our Apollo gas system. Not only did they replace what we contracted for, they realized hot and cold water pipes were reversed thus reducing the efficiency of our heating system. They did not leave until they fixed everything. Professional, prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, great customer service, I highly recommend them.

I called CK's on a recommendation from a friend. They came out and replaced my Rinnai tankless water heater. Jerry came out on the same say and gave me a detailed estimate. The estimate was more than I was expecting, so he carefully explained to me what was different about the newer unit, and why he needed to move it to bring it up to code. Even though I believed him, I still got a second bid. Guess what, it was EVEN HIGHER, and they didn't give me any of the detailed explanation that Jerry did. I contacted CK and asked them to do the work Chris, Ray, and Bob came out and explained the whole process again, and they said they'd do what the could to minimize the move costs. They were able to trim out some of the needed rework needed and reduce the overall project costs. I appreciated their honesty and efforts to keep the price reasonable. I'm really happy with the work, and glad they were recommended to me.

Highly recommend! Easy to schedule quickly and very transparent about pricing. Most important is quality service. Tim clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Not only did he and Justin do a great job with a faucet replacement and toilet fix, but Tim also figured out that our issues were symptoms of a bigger water pressure problem and fixed that the same day too. I had a 2-4pm appointment and after calling in advance, “Sean” showed up at 2:30. Two of our toilets appeared to be slightly backed up along with our garbage disposal. I’ve never needed a plumbing repair, but I’ve heard horror stories about high trip fees and prices. After pointing these items out to Sean, he carefully analyzed and started to troubleshoot each item. He was able to describe in clear detail what was taking place at each location. After that he gave me options to choose from in order to address my concerns. Sean was honest and appeared to really have my best interests in mind. I am glad that Sean came out and that I chose CK plumbing, they really exceeded my expectations and at an affordable price as well. No need to dread calling a plumber, just call CK plumbing.

My husband called CK's Plumbing on Sunday about a leaking water heater. Chris showed up Monday around 10 am and had it replaced by 1:30 pm. Along with the hot water heater, he repaired the toilet in the master bath and put in an outside faucet on the back of our house. He and the two gentlemen who came with him, were professional, friendly, and punctual. We were already aware of a ball park price for replacement of the water heater and Chris was right on target! I had a hot water issue when the temperature was very low a few days ago. Called them to scheduled a checkup the same day. Imagine walking around your house on a Saturday afternoon 3 hours before your daughter's birthday party to discover your sewage sump pump was not operational. My next thought is how many plumbers would I need to call to get someone to come out and at what expense. After calling 2, neither of who could promise they would be there that day, I called CK Plumbing. Nick returned my call and while he was also unavailable, he asked me to send him some pictures. We got back on the phone and he told me some troubleshooting steps and then encouraged me to pull the nasty pump for further inspection. This is the second time Kyle has been out to my house (built in 1988). The first time he fixed the low water pressure by replacing a broken thing on the regulator and let me know that the pipes in the house are made of some material that was involved in a law suit. He fixed the problem quickly and it has not recurred. Today he installed a pressure tank and replaced the flapper on a toilet that had been running periodically. Kyle knows what he is doing. He does not pressure me to make expensive repairs. He's great. Thanks much, Kyle.

We called CK Plumbing the first time to correct an installation that Home Depot did. CK Plumbing was great with that. Today we had CK Plumbing come out for a water stain we noticed in the ceiling. They are easy to contact, prompt with responses, professional appointment setting. They came to our house, wore masks and shoe-coverings and were very thorough and efficient with the service. They did not overcharge for their services. Wouldn't it be great if all businesses were run like CK Plumbing?

CK’s plumbing did an excellent job on a complicated project installing a natural gas line to my outdoor patio which is in a very crowded area. They hand dug the trench, passed inspection the first time and made sure I knew what to ask for when talking to dominion energy. All of the staff was very professional and timely to complete work. I highly recommend them for natural gas work!

Unexplained water leak losing 3-400 gals a day. Went on for two months.

First plumber came twice and could not find problem. Charged $250. Had Leak locators come out and then Kyle from CK's quickly found the source and repaired pipe. Professional, cool, courteous. Wish I had used CK's from the beginning. Also when quoting me a future complete 60' water line replacement, they were $400 less than the bad plumber who couldn't find the leak.

Our washing machine would not drain completely and water backed up into the utility room. In the assessment, Ray noticed our hot water heater had a lot of rusted water staining and was over 13 yrs old.

The whole experience was fast and professional, from setting up the appointment to the work being done. The technician wore foot covers in my house. For one problem I was ready to pay for, he showed me a free fix.

ran into problems and the owner of CK's, Chris, came out to help in the pouring
rain. All of these guys were soaked as they tried to determine the
problem. They figured out it was the gas regulator on my gas meter. It
was the wrong regulator and had been on the meter for 15 years. I
called the gas company and they changed the regulator and that fixed the
problem. I would definitely use them. I did get another estimate from
another plumbing service and CK's was a within a few dollars. I went
with CK and glad I did.

I had CK's replace an outdoor 12 year old faucet that was leaking in 2013 . That faucet is now leaking in 2015. I called them to inform them of the problem and was told it was out of warranty but they would be glad to send someone out to replace it.. Wow, the first faucet lasted 12 years, and this one barely made it to two years with light use .So I donated about $100 to them but I don't think I'll be giving them any more of my business. And I'll be sure to ask the next plumbers what the expected life time of their faucet is.

I used CKs this week to replace the burner in a water heater. The job was diagnosed, part ordered and picked up and installed in a day. The price was reasonable and Sean did a good job in explaining things in layman's language. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them.

It was so easy. Called CK's Plumbing got an estimate for replacing our current water heater - accepted the estimate - made an appointment - Kyle and Blake arrived at our house as scheduled - very careful about not tracking through our house on such a rainy day - 1 1/2 hours later the old water heater was out of our house - the new one was installed and working well. CK's Plumbing and Backflow are our go to folks for plumbing. Great experience.

We experienced a major blockage in our sewer line this month, and CK's Plumbing was there to help us out. It was a complex issue- on that led to multiple visits with different purposes- but it was handled perfectly. We worked primarily with Kyle, who made everything easy to understand and clearly had our best interest at heart. I give CK's my strongest recommendation for customer service, and cannot speak highly enough of their work and professionalism.

Chris and Raymond fixed a leaking pipe in our wall and did a fantastic job. These guys were awesome and had a great attitude. In fixing the problem they did a great job getting into the wall, protecting the trim and bead board. They were also very good at explaining what they were doing, taking the time to teach me a few things, and made sure I knew what needed to be done to repair the water damage. I came home on Friday afternoon to a watermark about the size of my torso on our kitchen ceiling around a light socket. The ceiling felt like mushy cardboard with a bit of a sinking look to it.

Frantic (we're first time home owners), I called my husband who was en route to our house-- he is extremely handy, but since it was sight unseen for him, he asked that I call a plumbing company. We wanted to gauge how serious the issue was and a timeline for someone coming out same day. Frankly, regardless of cost at that point because an after hours rate is NOTHING compared to the damage a plumbing emergency could cause-- I was thinking of my kitchen cabinets/electrical issues.

My first call was to CK's plumbing as they had numerous great reviews and didn't close until 5pm. I made the call at about 4:15pm on Friday afternoon and a lady took my call. I explained the situation to her: what I saw on the kitchen ceiling, that I wasn't sure if our electrical socket was compromised, if the ceiling was holding water/was going to give way or was running down the backside of the wall/cabinets.

I asked if someone could come out same day if needed, given how serious/emergent of a problem my husband felt this was. I also apologized for seeming frazzled as I was a bit of a nervous wreck because I didn't know what to expect with something like this.

She then apathetically responded that the next available appointment was on Tuesday. My jaw literally dropped. Confused by her response, I reiterated that I wasn't sure if this was something that could even wait until tomorrow and then clarified that they didn't offer emergency plumbing services? She said uh well we do, but it's $250/hour with a it's Friday and I want to go home attitude-- this information was not offered, I had to ask about it.

I would have completely understood if she politely explained there wasn't availability to come out same day-- hey, we all have families and lives outside of work, I totally get it. BUT it was the manner in which this information (or lack there of) was relayed. I took the hint that she didn't want to spend her time sorting anything out after hours.

All of that said, based on my short interaction with CK's Plumbing & Backflow, I felt I experienced substandard customer service, lack of empathy and minimal desire to support a customer. I decided to say thanks for your time, but I'll try somewhere else. I was really disheartened as this interaction took what was already an upsetting/nerve-wracking experience, and made it just a bit more frustrating for us.

After that call, I then I called both Midtown Plumbing and Your Service Pro of NC. Both groups handled our situation with such care, flexibility, confidence and empathy (shout out to Stephanie from Midtown!). Both groups were completely willing to come out same day, and gave us troubleshooting advice and options.

Very happy with CK Plumbing. This was our first appt. The plumber, Nick, got the job done for us efficiently. My family appreciates services/technicians/contractors that are honest, candid, competent, and who don’t try to upsell us on stuff we don’t need. Very good first impression with Nick and CK Plumbing. I needed to replace some low-quality builder-installed toilet fill valves and shutoff valves. Kyle and Sean came over and did the job quickly and professionally at the pre-agreed price. Now my toilets work well and there won't be any costly leaks and frustrating fill valve failures.

I called CK's Plumbing at the recommendation of my irrigation system contractor to inspect and certify the backflow prevention (BFP) system. Bob, the Cary service manager was out the next day and noted the system needed to be 12 inches above ground and that the almost ancient BFP valve should be replaced. The next day he had Ray on site to redo the PVC plumbing and put in a new lead-free Wilkins valve that would be easier to repair in the future. Everyone I dealt with--from the admin staff to the installer were courteous and professional in explaining their rates and prices. I would highly recommend this company , especially if you are new to the area and are looking for a trustworthy company with fair prices.

I called and spoke with Chris, the owner. Not a call center, not a recording, but the owner of the company who was courteous and professional and set an appointment for me the next day with Bob. At 4:00 p.m. on the dot, Bob knocked at the door. He first put covers over his shoes, which was very appreciated. His personality was great, and his knowledge and experience spoke volumes. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed inside of thirty minutes. The water pressure is fantastic! I would recommend CK's Plumbing and Backflow to anyone who is looking for a company they can trust and can get the job done, the first time. They have set the bar high for customer service, satisfaction and intergrity! You will not be disappointed!

We had a serious leak under the sink in the master bedroom and it was hard to detect. Upon my request the office complied and sent me the service manager. Bob came and diagnosed the situation. After having discussions with him, and since we had previous problems with the leaks due to the old (grey color) pipes, I decide to get re-piping for the entire house done with the new PEX pipes.

On the day of the installation a crew of 5 technicians arrived early in the morning. At first, I asked them a few things but other than that they knew exactly how to proceed step by step by cutting out minimal sections of the drywall and undoing the old piping. The workflow was very smooth and the teamwork between all 5 of them progressed in a very timely fashion. Tim and Andrew were very professional and responsive to any of my questions, and the young man Justin came back a few days later to install a new toilet and did good job.

CK's Plumbing estimate for the re-piping job was very competitive. I highly recommend them for any plumbing jobs.

Kyle and Anthony did an excellent job in replacing our water heater and our house main shutoff valve. They came on time and did a very professional job in removing the old water heater from the attic and replacing it with a new one. I will recommend CK Plumbing and Kyle/Anthony to neighbors and friends for the their plumbing needs. I will use them again when needed. Hopefully, not for awhile.

CK's Plumbing did a great job from start to finish. I wanted to replace 2 toilets. And after reading reviews, I knew exactly what brand and model I wanted, and from which store. The customer service representative at CK's Plumbing was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She assured me it would be easy to coordinate the pick-up and do the installation. The cost was better than other quotes I had received, and with a lot less hassle. The installers were professional and fast. I wish every project could be completed as smoothly as this one. I can highly recommend them for any plumbing project.

Sean was fantastic. We had a sink that was clogged that had been previously looked at by Roto Rooter. They just took a plunger to it, charged us $250, then said we’d need to replace the pipe without resolving the issue.

Sean took the time to diagnose the problem, present with options, and ultimately cleared the line of the clog in about 20 minutes. Best of all, we paid significantly less than Roto Rooter. Will be calling again for any future plumbing needs.

Tim and Juan came out to repair a clogged drain. Due to 50+ year old pipes they had to replace part of the line. They were professional, prompt and corrected the issue faster than the estimated time. I have CK's plumbing in my address book and will call them any time I need service in the future.

Chris and Ray arrived promptly on the day of service and got to work immediately. They were very courteous and quickly figured out what needed to be done to remove our old 50 gallon water heater and replace it with a new Rinnai tankless water heater. They did a great job with the install and even simplified some of our previous pipe layout that seemed needless complicated. The heater works great and is way quieter than I expected. In addition to the water heater, they also installed a whole house water filter, making sure the filters can be easily isolated with shut off valves for future maintenance. When the water pressure seemed a little low, they were able to tweak our pressure valve regulator so that the pressure to our faucets is now better than they were before the water filter was installed. Chris and Ray did a great job explaining the system to me and testing it to my satisfaction. They removed the old water tank and cleaned everything up. An overall terrific experience.

We had a small leak under the house that needed to be addressed. Sean and Anthony of CK's Plumbing and Backflow were able to schedule an appointment quickly, showed up on time, assessed the issue and provided a fair quote for the repair work.

We scheduled the work and Sean and Anthony again arrived on time. Work was precise, clean and with great attention to detail. The estimate was the final price; no surprises. They kept us informed through the process, but were not invasive.

In all, great attitude, great energy, great to work with. Couldn't be happier. 100% recommend CK and will use them in the future.

These people are professionals. I was in a bad spot with my sewer main. They came out and gave their professional opinion and a very reasonable quote. They were out the next week and had everything fixed in one day (try finding that anywhere else), literally everything including city inspections. Excellent experience from beginning to end!! I made my first contact with CK's Plumbing about a water heater replacement online on a Saturday evening not expecting a call until Monday, but they called right away. Someone arrived on Monday to provide me an estimate, and they scheduled the replacement to suit my schedule. CK's Plumbing and Backflow is our new plumber! Through the 36 years we've lived in Raleigh, we have dealt with a couple of plumbers that were good. When we had an emergency last week that caused us to have to shut off water for the entire house, we called them first, but were not their priority. CK's was able to schedule us much sooner. Nick and Kyle found the upstairs leak and fixed it quickly and professionally. I was so impressed that with each step of the leak discovery process, Nick called me in to show me what they were doing. Imagine my surprise when I woke up yesterday and I had little to zero water pressure. I googled best plumbers in Raleigh and was led to CK’s Plumbing. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. They arrived on time, were polite, and able to fix the issue quickly without any issues. I had an afterhours issue with our tankless water heater and received a call back from the on-call tech Sean within 15 minutes of calling the office. He was able to recommend a solution for the issue over the phone and saved me the cost of an afterhours visit for what turned out to be simple fix. I will be sure to use CK again and would highly recommend them.

CK's is my go to both at work and at home. We just replaced a washer/dryer in our 27 year old home. Boom! We find out the cutoffs are outdated and should be replaced. First thought...call CK's. I called yesterday, the set appointment for today 3-4pm. Today I get a call from their office...we'll be early - 2-3pm. 5 minutes later the plumber himself calls - He's on the way, about 40min out (which put him at my house at 2:25) He got here right on time and he introduced himself as Tim and his assistant Justin. My home has been on well water since it was built in 1964. I've lived here since 1989 and we suffered the consequences of having a well. We had blue stained tubs, deep orange rust stains and scale on appliances, tubs, toilets, sinks and countertops. The ice maker, Keurig, washing machine and toilet parts were constantly in need of repair and the water was so turbid I had to use a Brita filter for everything. Thanks to CK's Plumbing and Backflow I now have clean water. I found this company of Angie's List and they had excellent reviews. Kyle came out and gave me an estimate and explained what needed to be done to get off my well and switch to city water. Chris, the owner, came out late in the evening to get the trench dug, even though he had already put in a full day. He had a full schedule the next day and training and wanted to get my job underway. Here it is a few days later and the job is completely done, as promised. I'm pretty sure the fees were reasonable. As a matter of fact they were $500 less than a plumber that I've used before and won't use again, now that I have a new plumber! They cleaned up the best they could, considering they had to dig up quite a trench to lay the new pipes. I'm very happy. Thank you to CK's.

I rarely write review unless it's a 5 stars. I called CK's for my backflow and controller problem. I was hoping they can tell me what I don't knew already and fix the issue for me. Instead I was waiting for 2 hrs.... During the call no one mentioned there will be a service charge when they come. I received the bill $125 for Irrigation diagnostic (5 mins to turn on the irrigation can't be cost that much). It was my fault not clearly asking in email or asked question when I called. If I've known it will cost $125 to turn it on: I would not waited for 2 hrs for it.

So learn from my lesson.

They worked 7 straight hours with no breaks and help me navigate a complex plumbing issue where Duke Energy had clipped my drain line boring a power line underground. I used CK's Plumbing for some minor work. They replaced the washers in the washing machine shutoffs (they were getting very difficult to completely turn off), they also check my overflow tank for the hot water heater. Although this was all small work I can't say enough about the ease of working with them, I'm trying to get several other items done on this house and it sees nearly impossible to get others to respond in a timely manner. In addition they only did what was needed, the cost was under 150 dollars. Thanks!

Nick was very polite and professional We had him investigate a leaking dishwasher and replace a broken hose bib. Our appointment window was 10-12, and he showed up at about 10:05. Reasonably priced for a plumber.

We woke up to a leak in our ceiling, water everywhere. Called on a Sunday morning and Nick showed up in less than a hour! Nick was extremely polite, professional , transparent about the fees and prices, took the time to make sure before he left everything was clean and made sure our plumbing issues were resolved. CK Plumbing recently replaced my hot water heater. Of the 4 plumbers I contacted CK plumbing provided the lowest total price on the job. They were able to come out the next day after contacting them and install the water heater. They got the job done in a little over an hour and have had no problems so far with their work. Really pleased with the whole experience.

We had a leaky shower cartridge. Being handy, we were trying to fix it ourselves which turned out to be a big task. We called CK on a Saturday for advice on a piece that we could neither find at Lowe's nor Home Depot. Ray picked up the phone and met us to talk about our issue without charging us an afterhours on-site charge and was able to help us understand what and how to deal with the current situation we were in. Ray was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and had a great beard.

I hate hiring a plumber. I'm a handy guy and I hate having to admit a problem is out of my reach. Generally, plumbers have overcharged me, showed up late, been messy, and tried to sell me on some sort of other service. Not Sean and the guys at CKS Plumbing. Sean was early, he and his partner where very professional, they quickly got my problem under control, and explained to me what went wrong and how there was no way to fix it without professional tools. And it cost far less then what other companies had quoted me. I would certainly recommend these guys and I will be using them again if something comes up.

Raymond and Jerry are the best! They arrived on schedule, were very knowledgeable and professional. These gentleman were able to fix my plumbing issue within a matter of minutes and treated me and my home with respect. I would highly recommend their services to everyone.

They were amazingly helpful and accommodating. I called on the weekend because our sump pump would not stop running. He walked me through several steps over the phone to see if I could troubleshoot myself before he booked the appointment. Then he offered to schedule an appointment for the following week day if it was a non-emergency in order to save me money! When they did come to my house they talked me through all of the steps they were completing and showed me different things I could do with my system to ensure it was working properly and to hopefully avoid more problems. It was a simple fix, but I was more than happy to pay them for their time and honesty! I will not be using any other company any time soon!

CK's Rocks! From fist contact with Megan, discussion with Bob on a re-circulator and finally with Ray and Chris who did the installation all interface was First Class. Ray and Chris made it to my house before 5PM saving me the after hour fee and the installation was quick, efficient and clean. Other than having hot water again, you would never know they were here. They made sure I had all the information I needed for my new HWH. I used to use a different plumber and good for me, they never returned my call/email yesterday so now I have a new and improved plumbing company to use. Thank y'all.
