Messaged Golden Rule for a leaky tub faucet. After reviewing an image I sent, they were able to give me multiple options for fixing it with different price points. They answered all my wife’s hundreds of questions (lol) and we decided to schedule an appointment. They were ON TIME for our appointment and very kind. They were quick, efficient, and they were very informative! We really appreciate the work they did and we are loving our new faucet.

I had a water heater die in December. Joseph, the owner, came out personally and replaced it within 48 hours at a very reasonable price. He has integrity and efficiency and I will recommend him to everyone I know. His company name says it all, he treats others like he would expect to be treated.

AMAZING SERVICE and OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION. It’s refreshing to find a tradesman who is extremely honest and hard working. I was having pressure problems with hot water. The amount of work these guys put into attempting to fix the problem was admirable. In the end they ended up having to replace the water heater. And then showed me why I was lucky the unit wasn’t repairable. It had completely rotted from the bottom and was a short period from failing. Joe was very transparent about what was going on the entire time. AND THEN he didn’t ask for my first born or a limb. The price was incredibly reasonable and I am very pleased

Called Golden Rule Plumbing Services to come out and put in a new kitchen faucet and to look at a tank filling problem I had with one of my toilets. Joseph the owner came personally and was prompt and answered all of my questions with straightforward honesty. The pricing was very reasonable especially compared to some of the big box companies. The job was done and all water was flowing in no time at all. Also everything was left neat and clean just as it was when he showed up. I would absolutely 100% without a doubt use this company. They are absolutely professional they know what they're doing they are honest it's hard to find people in different businesses like this they go through the process with you they show you and tell you exactly what they're doing their customer service is impeccable if you call or text they will call back immediately they go above and beyond. It's too bad that all these big companies who just want to lie and take money from you give these people that are working so hard on their own businesses to keep it in the area so we have people we can call on that's what I love about them they're honest. Mr. Allen the owner he's out there working along right by his his employees and the two guys that came with him to detect our problem after one of the big mainstream companies came out lied about our problem said they did something they didnt an charged us $600. I'm sorry my post is so long but I want to get across that if you need any type of Plumbing work or whatever other work that they do I would highly highly recommended all you have to do is look at the other reviews when I was searching for somebody to do plumbing around the area two people came up one person had one 5-star review he had over 52 reviews and they were all 5-star. The only one problem I wish they were able to do a little bit of everything :-) as to my heating went down and some other things around the house so if I could hire him to do everything that breaks down in my house he'd be the company in person that I call 🙂. I believe the two guys that came with them and I want to say I do apologize if I get it wrong but I believe it was Michael and Sean you guys went above and beyond as well as the first gentleman that came with Mr. Allen the first time they came out I didn't get his name he was kinda quiet but very professional and nice as well. I want to say thank you so much to all of you all. My dad thanks you as well and hopefully we'll be in touch to finish up some things. But you guys are a one if I can write you a thousand stars I would. Mr. Allen is a straight shooter and doesnt sugar coat anything. Called in the morning and they arrived at 3pm and fixed 2 major leaks under the house quickly, efficiently and very reasonable. Very hard to find a legit plumber and these guys are amazing and will not take advantage of you. Have recommended to all my family and friends....

Could not be more pleased!!! After contacting several local plumbing companies, I decided to go with Joseph! We were so blessed that we did!!
We had an odd situation with our dishwasher. The wrong size pipe had been installed. Due to it being such an odd size, Joseph had to order a special tool just to work on this pipe. (no supply shop had it either, it was a weird size that could only be special ordered)
He ordered the tool and came back as soon as he received it. He did not charge us any extra for having to order this specialty tool nor did he charge us any extra for having to come back. I have been 'nickled & dimed' with other companies, but not with Golden Rule!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Gold Rule Plumbing Services! I called them on Wednesday afternoon after my original plumber cancelled because of rain (HA!). They were very responsive. I sent them pictures of my leaky kitchen faucet and the one I wanted to install and they were here first thing on Thursday morning with all the parts to get the job done! They are smart, professional, and reasonably priced! We cannot thank Joseph and his team enough!

I had a leaking water heater and contacted 3 companies for quotes/estimates on a replacement. One company told me that I should make sure I know what getting with any quotes less than theirs since it wouldn't likely be up to code.

Not only did Joseph provide the best quote, he provided a detailed estimate within hours, thoroughly explained what I would get (which included more than the company I spoke with), showed up on time, explained everything again, worked fast, cleaned up like no one was ever there, and then showed me all of the work including the items that were implemented to meet code. His partner Adam was professional and knew his stuff as well.

The guys did a great job replacing the fixtures in both showers this trip. Last time out they replaced the hot water heater. They were on time, pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves!!!! I would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Golden rule has taken care of 2 jobs for us. The first was about a year ago, they replaced the shower faucet in our bathroom and did an awesome job. Fair pricing and good work. The second time was a week ago. They came out diagnosed the problem. Did a repair. We continued to have a problem and the whole time they kept communication with us and as soon as I asked if they could come out again and check it out, they came next day. Very friendly, figured out that a product they used was faulty and they replaced it. No problem. I really appreciate it! Thankful for such a great locally owned business. Thank you guys!

At the house the guys were prompt, good communicators (who didn't mind when I asked questions or walked them through my attempts to fix it), and they worked quickly to fix the issue.

This company has the most fair pricing, is the most reliable, and honest. They were good communicators, gave us a fair price (we compared multiple companies in the area and this company was the best price for the exact same services that everyone else was offering), and they were extremely honest. They opened the water heater they had brought and noticed it had dents on it. They refused to install it like that and drove back to the store to get one that was in new condition. I was amazed at this because it took extra time out of their day. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

I called Golden Rule Plumbing early Monday morning and they were out by the afternoon. Jim replaced an old, leaking water heater by 3pm. They cleaned up after the job was finished and also added a new pad. I would recommend Golden Rule plumbing for your needs.

I highly recommend Joseph and Matthew at Golden Rule Plumbing!! I had a few other plumbers come to our house and NONE of them would actually diagnose the root cause of our plumbing/sewage problem; they merely charged us for the visit and told us we needed to call someone else. However, when I spoke to Joseph at Golden Rule, HE was willing to work with us and actually get under our house to see what was causing our problems! He showed us pictures of a pipe that had come loose and was flooding the crawl space. Michael and Joseph just finished replacing 4 outdoor hose bibs that we had in our crawl space. I couldn't be more pleased. The replacements seem much stronger then the originals and they all work like they are supposed to. I snapped a couple of pics of what I needed to have replaced and they gave me a quote 5 minutes later. I texted him on a Tuesday at 4:15 pm to let him know I was ready to do the work and they came Thursday at 2 to do the work. They even fixed a piece of PVC piping on my AC Condensate line the had come apart at no additional charge. I would highly recommend them, friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and on time.

Joseph from “Golden Rule Plumbing Servises” installed my new water heater in the house, which, I should add, was a very complicated job, as the water heater is located in the attic with a rather very narrow attic door. But he mastered it with tremendous professionalism. He took time to cover up the entire area from the attic to the front door with plastic, to prevent any damage when removing the bad water heater. We highly recommend Golden Rule Plumbing! Reasonably priced, professional, fast, efficient and clean! Our 4.5 year old gas hot water heater stopped working. We called Golden Rule and Joseph responded quickly. Joseph came out diagnosed the problem (it had rusted out!), and advised us that since it was still under warranty, we should contact the manufacturer and make a warranty claim. We did, and only had to pay for the labor and miscellaneous parts. Joseph and his assistant removed the old heater, returned it to the supplier, picked up a new one, and submitted the warranty information on our behalf. They installed the new water heater and cleaned up so well that it didn’t even look like they had been there! This was a very difficult job, since the water heater is in our attic and the attic opening is just about the same width as the heater, but they got it done. The next time we need a plumber we will call Golden Rule Plumbing.

The guys worked quickly and effectively fixed the support under the house to install the new toilet. Lead tech that came to my house was Sean, both him and his partner were very polite, courteous, and professional. Showed them what I needed done and they got to work right away and were done within a very reasonable time frame. I had a great experience hiring golden rule plumbing to do some work on our 1950's plumbing. Joseph was knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. He also let me know what things I should keep an eye on and what things could use attention. I really appreciated his approach and their pricing.

I called on a Friday morning about a toilet that wouldn't stop running, and within half an hour two very nice plumbers were at my door. Unfortunately, there were no parts available to repair, so I ended up having both of my toilets replaced. The work was completed within a couple hours of their arrival, and so far everything is working great. Pricing was much more reasonable than a local competitor, and I was even given a small discount for having both replaced at the same time. As an added bonus, they were dog friendly! :)

Excellent plumbing service at a reasonable price at my rental house in Garner. Have had 2 service calls taken care of -a major leak in main water line repaired and later had toilet valve water wasting leaks repaired quickly. Would highly recommend Golden Rule for honest assessment and resolution of plumbing problems. Will definitely use Joseph for my next plumbing job.

Golden Rule Plumbing did an excellent job serving us today. They were fast and had good, quality work. The men were very kind as well. I am always concerned when I contact a service company I’ve never used before because I never know who I am inviting into my home and how safe they will be. Not a terrible experience, but won't call again. Had Golden Rule come out a while back to fix a few different issues. Scheduling was fast and easy enough. Guys were friendly. Got the normal warnings to fix some potential items, but were not pushy about any of it. The problems I had with the service were minor, but added up.
Turns out the work was not under warranty due to some specific issues. You probably won't run into the same problem. Then the price was around 30% higher than originally quoted, again due to some trouble that they ran into. Understandable, but of course not great. Work was done outside, but guys didn't wear masks and were spitting off my driveway as I'm right next to them signing my receipts.
So you may or may not be bothered by any of that. For me, there are too many other plumbers around to try Golden Rule again.

I had a bad toilet clog for the second time. It took them less than a hour to fix the problem ! They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I will only use them in the future!
