Jaco and his helper did a fantastic job installing my dishwasher and garbage disposal on very short notice after my regular plumber stood me up the previous day. . They showed up on time, were courteous and professional. They cleaned up behind themselves and I couldn't be happier. I have definitely found a new plumber!

Spoke with Dave about my water heater situation, surprisingly he told me with what I described to him, I should be in good shape for the next couple of years. I’m not experiencing any issues, but he could have EASILY tried to make a dollar and provide some “fake” service. Instead, was brutally honest and told me to just leave it alone. I mean seriously, why can’t everyone be as honest as he was. He prepared me for the inevitable, that I will need to replace it eventually, but to do anything now was unnecessary. Thank you Dave for your honesty and being just a genuinely GREAT person. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

When I woke up on a Saturday morning with no hot water, I feared the worst. I was certain that I’d have to go 5 to 7 days before I can find someone to come out and take a look and diagnose the problem. I called NC water heater.com at 9 AM that Saturday morning, and spoke to Cindy, who is so kind and compassionate. Cindy let me know that she would make some calls to some technicians and see what she could do about finding someone to come take a look that weekend. Within 30 minutes I had a return phone call, and Cindy let me know that she had arranged for Dave to come out and take a look. Long story short, Dave had diagnose the problem and fixed my water heater just in time for lunch. Best of all, it was that I didn’t feel ripped off even with the after hours emergency service fee. The whole cost was completely reasonable. I know that I need to replace my aging water heater sooner than later. While Dave was fixing my water heater, he gave me several options for both tank and tankless when I am ready to repair. It’s hard to find good honest businesses these days. I’m happy that I called.

I was referred to Dave by a friend as water was spraying from a frozen valve outside my house. Dave diagnosed and walked me through the problem on the phone on a Sunday and scheduled one of his guys to come out to my house the next day (had I not been able to fix the problem myself Dave offered to come to my house that day). Needed a gas water heater replaced. They were able to install same day. Standard package includes a professional line water heater, not the cheap versions you find at Home Depot. Very nice unit. Awesome service. We recently had a broken water pipe behind one of our downstairs walls. I called NCWaterHeaters and found they do much more than water heaters. Their team was fast to react and be at my home when I needed them. The repair guys were very easy to work with and cleaned as they went, leaving our home just as they found it. Great service guys and very reasonably priced too.

I utilized NCwaterheaters for installation of Rheem tank Water heater. The team was very thorough and professional. Dave especially is very knowledgeable about different water heater tanks and their functionality and history. Dave was also very prompt to answer my questions. I would recommend NCwaterheaters for anyone who is looking for professional tank water heater installation services. Though they offer other services, I didn't use them yet so I cannot comment.

We have been in our home 17.25 years... no strangers to the it's always something truth of homeownership. Water heater (lowboy 50 gallon, 9ish years old) developed a slow leak from the bottom, element went out knew it needed replacement. We replaced the first one 8 years after move in and it was 11 years old. I maintained it maybe not as diligently as I should (religious yearly flush, every 2-3 year anode replace) but it still was past due and we had a flooded crawlspace 1.5 years ago which likely killed it. Even in perfect conditions, these short ones simply do not last as long. Had a contractor come out hoping to streamline the process... they were nice enough but they quoted a price that almost made me simultaneously laugh and wretch 😆+🤢. Ours have a 6 year warranty, they're commercial grade we don't get them from HD... 🚩They ALL have a 6 year warranty. We can get you on a service plan and that'll cut cost. 🚩 Nope. Anyway, I respectfully declined... had looked at another local plumber and they were a week out. Had been looking at HD at prices for the unit to do my homework and noted they have contractors to install. I pulled the pin and went with it... 2 days of cold showers + 16.5 year old son = 🥶 /😵. NCwater heaters happened to pick it up from there and they far surpassed expectations. Pro all the way from call #1 to estimate text and email correspondence to scheduling, crew on the way notifications... everything. I'm blown away. Don't discount a plumber contracted through a 'big box' store.... They get these contracts for a reason. Their quote was spot on to what the local plumber gave but since they were a week out I had to move on. NCwaterheater do many other jobs than their name implies... I won't hesitate to call them in the future. BTW... I didn't expect or receive anything for this review. I am as much singing their praises as I am sending a beware to home owners that there are a lot of price gougers out there: Do your homework.

Brandon was very professional, on-time, very clean (wore overshoes indoors) and was able to answer all my questions. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with the original estimate, the speed of getting an appointment, good communications, the actual work, and the quality of the work. Everything is humming along because Brandon was knowledgable - and that made me feel comfortable.

I will be using NC Water Heaters in future! Highly recommended.

If I could give zero stars I would. I filled out the form online yesterday. They called me in a reasonable amount of time. We discussed my issue and sent pictures to them as they asked. Then all communication stopped. I left voice mails and texts. I noticed another person had the same issue with them in another review. They said there was a miscommunication. Impossible here as they called me first and responded to my previous calls and texts. They gave me their number. Super unprofessional and definitely unreliable. Buyer beware!

Fantastic service! Cannot recommend highly enough! Worked with them on renovating a bathroom ...they worked with my schedule on disconnecting and reconnecting of fixtures!

They had the right heater already in stock so I was able to schedule and had replace my old heater quickly. I appreciate how quick and pain free this process was and the technicians were professionals and courteous.

Jason and Mike arrived on time, and answered all my questions about the new water heater. They were quick and professional. They waited for me to install a new plywood base using my own materials. That made me feel good about the finished installation. I will recommend them to my neighbors.

My water heater got busted in May2020. After talking to few vendors decided to go with NCWH. The initial price assessment was just spot on, depending on where my heater was located (attic). The technicians arrived at the given time with all tools and new heater. Zach was definitely knowledgeable and was in and out in about an hr. Service was fantastic, they always were mindful of the surroundings. I would highly recommend them.

Update1: Dec2020: The water heater stopped working. After talking to the lady at reception she scheduled The earliest available appointment for me. Zach the same technician showed up for the appointment. After initial assessment he found that the gas valve controller was faulty. He and his manager went above and beyond to retrieve the part since it was a holiday and I was expecting guests for the holidays. Their service was impeccable and I really appreciate the service provided to me. I would highly recommend NCWH.

Great service! Initially called for a same day water heater repair. After talking with the technician, he gave me honest advice about the heater due to the age and extent of repair work. We ended up choosing to have the entire hot water heater replaced. To my absolute surprise (and joy!) they were able to replace it the same day! They called in a few extra workers to help finagle the space (the builders put it in the attic 🙄) and they were in and out in about 5.5 hours. Would definitely recommend!

Placed several calls to request appointment. Finally, One of the owners came to our property and said he they could do the work. We received the quote and wanted to move forward with the work, but after several follow up calls to finalize the planned work, we received no response. I understand that they may be busy with other jobs, but after 2 weeks, I believe this company didn’t want our business. I have my thoughts about why this would be so. Nevertheless, I expected a professional company would have a least responded, even if they decided not to do the job. Given the unprofessionalism, I now doubt I’d this is a real company that can be depended upon to complete the work. Very disappointing…..

From the initial phone call followed by a quick estimate NC Water Heaters have been a joy to work with given the circumstances. After a failed water heater (age) flooded our bottom floor leaving us with no hot water, the technicians were out in less than 24 hours with an estimate already accepted. Both Jason and his associate, I think Steven was his name, including an electrician, were on time and ready to act. They were all extremely courteous, explained everything they were going and did due, tidy and came in almost exact to quote. And did I mention the pricing was very reasonable? Well it sure was!
I would recommend this company to all and would use again in a heartbeat.

The old, original gas one was in the attic and they replaced it with a hybrid heat pump unit in my storage shed on the ground level. They were on time, professional, and speedy. I contacted NC Water Heaters back in September. I had been planning for sometime to replace my water heater that was located in the attic, a place a 40 gal water heater should not be. First off I surprised that I got a one day response for them to come out and give me an estimate of the work to be done. I wanted a tankless water heater. I met Brandon Johnson the project manager when he came to give me an estimate of the job. I very much impressed with his information right away on how the work could be done and the cost of the project. On the same day I got an estimate I could sign off on and the next day an appointment for the actual work to be done. Loved the quick response that. On installation day, or I should say water heater conversion since I was going from one type of water heater to another type. The crew arrived on time, Jason an installer and Lee the electrician and Tew. All were great to work with and able to explain any questions I had. Soon after Brandon arrived to oversee the project and at the end gave me a very good instructions on the workings of the tankless water heater . I can say that I highly recommend them for how well the work was done and how well they were both professional and responsive to any concerns and questions I had. I am looking forward to using their service in the future for any needs I may have for plumbing or electrical.

Dave and his team showed up on time as scheduled for both quoting and performing the work. They provided really competitive quotes, completed the work in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, and educated us on all the different options for the hot water heater work we needed done.

The electrician was scheduled to show up in the morning, but when he did not, we called and Dave’s team was able to get a different electrician to come out that same day.

I just used NC water heaters to replace my water heater as well as install a PRV / new shutoff for the house. Some of the quotes I got for PRV/quarter turn shutoff were 300% more expensive than NCWH.

Their team was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and honestly the cheapest quote I could get in 4-5 days. If you're having plumbing issues, you should definitely give these guys a call. I've used bad/expensive plumbers before and these guys are not them. One of their folks also helped me out with a faucet issue inside, and quickly offered up a replacement part from his van at no charge. And their quoting team talked me OUT of a more expensive option, not trying to just grab money.

Nc water heaters do the annual service on my tankless water heater. It's easy to schedule, the price is know in advance and Brandon is always on time, provides good information and very efficient. Super nice guy too. I've recommended them to others who have been very pleased.

I can't share enough great things about NC water heaters! They've done two big jobs at the home we just purchased. Firstly, the replaced our water heaters. We had another company come out first and gave us a ridiculous quote, while also saying they wouldn't touch the thing without an electrician to fix a major problem. We had NC water heaters come out for a second opinion. Not only did they give us a quote for about $600 less than the competitor, but they address the major electrical problem, which turned out to be nothing more than a grounding wire and a junction box. Theyre on staff electrician just handled it as part of the install.

Secondly, they replaced our sewage pump due to it being faulty. Jason and Sam were the two technicians and they were on time, extremely efficient workers, who were very kind to myself and my pets during the job. They got us inspected and scheduled two days later and replaced the pump for barely more than it would have cost me to do it myself. Extremely happy with this company.

Again, Jason, sam, and Brandon have all done work and been amazing. Kayla is incredibly nice on the admin side each time I need to call, and always addresses what I need very quickly. And lastly, even the owner Dave came out to quote one job for us and was very pleasant to speak and work with. You can tell this is a family company.

Love love love this company and will be using them for any and all plumbing/remodeling needs I have moving forward.

We have used the professional services at NC Water Heaters several times for plumbing and electrical work and have always been satisfied with the exceptional work they have done. Yesterday Jonathon did an excellent job in rerouting the plumbing for the new kitchen sink and installed a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system. The water filter system needed some adjustments to work properly and he assisted with making the changes after we needed to contact the company's customer service line. Lee has completed several electrical jobs for us and we hope to never have to use anyone else as he is professional and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this company.

The interaction and service was great. The only issue I had was that the water heater we received was noticeably dented.

Initially we were looking at a tankless water heater, but Dave gave us a couple options and after weighing them we decided to keep the existing water heater and repair. We tried to contact him several times and left messages with no call back. Very unprofessional in my opinion. If you don't want to do the job, at least have the decency to call us back and let us know.

When our water heater started leaking, we had the problem inspected by another company, who said to replace the heater. It was expensive and had a complicated process. So we decided to call NCWaterHeaters for a second opinion, and they were incredibly helpful. Brandon checked the water heater for us and gave a quote that was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other company. NCWH was able to get a new water heater to us pretty quickly, and Zack and Jaco installed it for us. They were nice, professional, and were always willing to answer all of our questions. We did have a small gas leak afterwards, but someone came out to check it right away.
We will definitely be choosing NCWaterHeaters for our go-to when we have any sort of plumbing or electrical problem!

NCWaterHeaters did an awesome job replacing propane water heater. I found This company After getting estimates from big “orange” & “blue” who were more $ & out of stock till year end. Dave (owner) promptly had techs out to estimate and install a new tank, that was replaced with a “quality name brand” replacement. I highly recommend them and will keep them for further projects down the road as they do plumbing electrical and remodeling

I am extremely impressed with this company. When I needed a new water heater, I contacted at least 7 different plumbers in the area, trying to find someone who performed quality work at a reasonable price. I was informed by a few companies that, due to the location of my water heater (long story), I would need extra construction services, I’d have to downsize my tank, etc. I was ready to accept the whole process was going to be a nightmare and cost a ridiculous amount of money. The professionals at NC Water Heaters were able to get the job done right without excess construction, no downsizing, and at an awesome price.

Most importantly, on the day of service, they had the opportunity to “up-charge” me on an issue that I was clueless about. Instead, they were immediately upfront, honest, and even helped me save money. They were actually looking out for me instead of trying to get an extra dollar.

I replaced a hot water heater with their help. I had a traditional electric hot water heater and was considering a heat pump hot water heater and a marathon tank hot water heater to replace that unit which was 20 years old. I was able to receive estimates and their opinions on what would work best for my needs and in the space where my hot water heater would go.

I appreciate that they took the time to come to my home and evaluate whether a heat pump water heater or marathon tank would work for me and that they provided me with honest and thoughtful advice. I ultimately replaced my old hot water heater with another electric hot water heater due to location.

Their pricing was fair and in line with other estimates I received. The installation was performed easily and without any difficulty. I would recommend their services and would utilize them again.

We just moved to the Triangle and purchased a whole home catalytic carbon water filter and water softener for our new construction home. We were in need of a qualified plumber to install the system. On the first connection with the company, the president, David, called me to discuss the job. He spent a lot of time discussing the job, telling me about the company and listening to my needs. We received a very competitive estimate shortly after that. Other plumbers wanted two to three times more to perform the work. Kayla, the office manager, promptly sent a firm quote and got us on the schedule. Kayla was very responsive coordinating the work and a great representative of the company. NC Water Heaters sent out Jason, the water softener expert, to install my equipment. Jason was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. He did a great job. This was not their equipment and I appreciate their taking the time to install the equipment that I had purchased.

Had an issue with my noritz tankless hot water heater populating a code 16. Brandon arrived at my property early(after calling to confirm my availability) with a list of possible issues to check. Per his recommendation due to my heaters age, I decided not to flush the tank as he informed me the failure rate in tanks 10+ years old is increased, and may force a replacement. Going through the list issues easily and expertly, he discovered my gas pressure valve had failed and was allowing 4 times the flow of gas to the heater, which was causing the failure. The repair was completed in 15 minutes. I can't say enough for a company who is represented by someone as knowledgeable, honest, and effective as Brandon. Customer for life.

Less than 6 months later, I started having trouble with my water heater and contacted NC Water Heaters to assist with the issue. After having paid a decent amount for installment and entrusting the job to them, back by their guarantee, I expected nothing less than quality service in helping to resolve the issue. In the end, they were not able to assist. To those considering NC Water Heaters, consider the full integrity of the service so that if an issue should arise, there is appropriate follow through to help resolve the issue. That was not my experience only a few months after contracting this company for a job. Although, Brandon was very pleasant to work with, as a whole, the owner and others make this an unrecommended company. It was great to work with them, until an issue came up with the system, then the quality support and service I experienced declined quickly. Now as I look for contractors, I check not only the reviews but the BBB score as a starting point.

Brandon was very pleasant to work with. He was VERY attentive to detail and was thorough in installing the tankless water heater. We converted to a tankless water heater once the tank water heater went out. I would 100% recommend him and his team again. Dave, the owner of the company, was also very helpful in answering my many questions upfront. Dave's customer service is why we went with this company. The rating of a four, is because on more than one occasion dealing with the scheduler was unprofessional and unpleasant. Other than that, the quality of their work and the professionalism of Dave, Brandon and other team members who worked on the project, was great.

Came quickly and when promised, did the work properly the first time, and left the area clean.

Price ended up being about the same (or maybe a bit lower) as big box + their installation partners with a much better customer experience.

Brandon is the only person I trust to fix my tankless water heater. We bought a new house that had a Noritz water heater. It was a POS - it broke down every year for 5 years. I’ve had 3 different companies come out and Brandon was the only one able to fix things. He replaced the Noritz with a Navien 240A-2 and hopefully i won’t have to see Brandon as much (though he’s a really nice guy) except for maintenance on the water heater.

The owner personally came out to service are Navien tankless water heater that was setup incorrectly by the home builders plumbing contractor. We now have instant hot water. He showed me how to descale the unit should I care to do it next time. He was on time for the appointment and took his time to properly assess the issue with the unit. And then, he checked/adjusted the water pressure at the pressure control valve that was also set incorrectly at no extra charge. Great experience and I would use him again.

Installation, removal of the old water heater from the premises, all supplies included, and the reps cleaned up after themselves. There were no additional charges. I needed a water softener and whole-house filter installed because I have a private well. With a short crawlspace and no basement, I was worried that the softener wouldn't fit--especially because the first plumber (from another company) told me I'd have to build a separate structure outside the house to make it work. Dave and his team had a much simpler, much easier solution and did the work in half the time. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient all the way.

Jason came in an replaced a wall full of the old Gray plastic pipes and installed a new shower faucet controller. He explained to me what he was going to do and went right to work. He worked very quietly and was very clean about his work. After he finished, he showed me the completed work and left. I would be happy to have come crack anytime!

The timer of our watersoftener was not working.
Jason Tew came by fixed it and reset the regeneration. He explained the problem very well.

I would give zero stars if possible. Our bathroom renovation was plagued with poor management by NCWaterHeater including problems with framing and drywall resulting in delays that lasted for months. A project started in September went on haltingly for months as several trades had to be reworked until an unacceptable work product was accepted only because we were weary of repeated attempts to fix defective substandard work. In the end a cosmetic band-aid was applied to dress up this pig.

After 13 years, our Rheem water heater broke on Saturday Nov 14. I called NC WaterHeaters.com and they sent a 2 man crew out the same afternoon. They had to access the old water heater located in the attic through a scuttle door. The old heater was drained and removed without any mess or damage to the property. The new Rheem water heater was installed in a couple of hours and everything looked neat and clean. The technician explained in detail any questions I had on the new gas water heater. The work area was always protected against potential damages or mess, and everything looked and worked great after they left. Very professional & friendly company that knows exactly what they're doing and will leave you feeling the job was well done! I would hire these guys again without any hesitation for future plumbing needs. Great to have hot water again only hours after it went out.
