Best Drain Cleaning in Phoenix AZ

I had previously (several years ago) used WJ Maloney for some plumbing work and they were reasonable then. When I had them come quote me for a new shutoff valve for my house, they quoted over $1000. I called another plumber (Quail Plumbing) that is doing it for less than $200. For the pleasure of Maloney's 5x normal cost quote they are charging me $49 for a service call. In comparison Quail gave me a quoted range over the phone with no hassle and no service charge.

Ryan got to our house fast and was very helpful in evaluating the situation and providing options to replace our water heater - even calling an associate who had a certain water heater in his own home, who went and checked it for a feature we asked about! He was able to get the job done the same day, despite arriving after 6pm! Highly recommended.

I had a water heater replaced in May 2021. The other night I noticed water under the new heater. I called the next morning, and Jordan was at my home within a couple of hours. I had to leave, but when I returned home I called and they said they had to replace the water heater. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional, efficient, and I there was no high pressure to do anything if not necessary.

Our water heater was due to be drained and inspected. Also, it was time for our water softener sediment filter to be replaced. Anthony Potts was dispatched and, while inspecting our softener system, he stated that, based on its age, our carbon filter should be changed, too. He was very thorough in explaining the workings of our softener system and how changing the carbon filter was crucial to protecting the actual resin "softening" of the water softening unit. Since the filter had never been recharged in the six years since the system was installed, we agreed. Anthony took the time to test the water for chlorine to ensure that the resin had not been compromised to the point of also needing to be replaced. He subsequently reported that the chlorine levels were still at a good level and nothing further was needed.While he was there, I mentioned that we had been hearing hammering sounds in the wall of one of our bathrooms, occurring when either the toilet or faucet was used elsewhere in our home. Anthony posited that the pressure release valve might be to blame. Upon investigation of our front yard PRV, Anthony noted that the pressure on the valve was set too high for our locality, which could explain the noises we heard. He stated that the city could increase water pressure at times without our knowledge and if the combination of city water pressure and PRV pressure load were set too high, the stresses created could ultimately damage the pipes within the walls of the house. After Anthony replaced the valve with a new adjustable version, we have not heard any more noises! Anthony was very professional. courteous, and polite. Would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (and Anthony Potts) for your next plumbing job!

Bodie was professional, quick and helpful with detecting other issues throughout the house that need repaired in the near future. Was provided multiple options for repair from full replacements to partial for cost saving.
