After being out of town for the day, I came home and went out to the mailbox to get the mail. As I'm walking back to the house I notice some water leaking out of the ground. I dug down a bit thinking it was an irrigation issue, turned off the water to the irrigation valves and it was still leaking. I Googled plumbers near me and found Simon's with a 5 star rating. I called and they were out on a Sunday within 2 hours. The diagnosis was the water main coming into the house from the street had sprung a leak (our home is 40 years old). He said he could fix it, but it would only be a band-aid and would like spring a leak again due the age of the installed piping and would 1/3 of the price to replace the entire line. He gave me some sage advice to make sure we had water for all the 'essentials' for the rest of the day and the following day and to turn off the water to the house and only turn it back on if we needed to. We both took quick showers, filled up some buckets and turned the water off. He said they'd be back in the morning at 0800 to start the work. I didn't hear anything so went outside at 0830 and they were peeling back the rock and starting to dig. By 1400, the water was back on and by 1730, they had backfilled the almost 4' deep trench and were gone. Other than the rock being slightly off color being mixed with some of the dirt (which will go away with some rain... someday). You'd never know they were here. I couldn't be happier with the responsiveness, work ethic, quality of work, and price. They were all very nice and thorough and will be my go to plumber in the future. Simon and team, you are plumbing rock stars in my book.

We had an outside faucet replaced because the pipe leading to it had broken and leaked into the house. When the plumber who did the install turned on our water after the repair, water sprayed into our house...he fixed that.

The faucet is securely in place and works well (thank you!); however, its base does not cover the hole in the outside wall. Water and air are able to get into the house quite easily. The screws that connect the faucet to the house are not aligned properly. The installer left it that way.

A senior plumber came out for a follow up evaluation. After looking at the faucet he said it is securely installed (I know that) and that it is paid for (I know that, too) and that the installer did not even mess up our stucco during the install (no professional plumber should mess up stucco). He said he could caulk around the faucet base.

It is solid and works well (again, thank you) but it looks like a 10 year old installed it. No thanks, I'll caulk it myself.

Will be recommending Peerless Plumbing anywhere I can. They quoted a sewer repair, and even when challenges appeared that were out of their control, they stuck with it and completed the job. They were on time and professional, had good communication, and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend for any plumbing work.

Some companies you use only once. They seem more interested in getting in and out quickly rather than doing the job right. My experience with APES was not like that. Destry was thorough, polite, and very helpful. Nice guy. APES will get our business again.

As what normally happens, Fourth of July weekend rolls around and (Saturday) I step out into the garage to find it flooded; water gushing from the now defunct water heater. I have Old Republic insurance and I called them. They emailed Jay's Plumbing Service and AOC-Arizona Plumbing...In addition to the Old Republic email, I also called Jay's Plumbing and AOC-Arizona Plumbing and got recordings, left a message...That was Saturday, it's now Monday, still waiting on a phone call. (Thankfully I don't need them anymore!) Because I have an elderly parent living with me, this water heater had to be fixed the same day. I called Valleywide Plumbing. Matthew Kondrath answered (Yes, a real person answered the phone!) There was no B.S. with Matthew. He told me the time he would be out and how much the cost was to replace the water heater. No hidden fees or holiday up-charges were loaded into the cost. In fact, the cost was barely higher than what I had paid for the previous hot water tank eight years earlier. Matthew told me he had another job he was finishing up on. He said he would pick up the new hot water tank from his supplier and be at my property by noon (which, btw, was on the other side of town from where Matthew was working.) I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted from my back when he said he would be out. Two hours later, Matthew was at my house at noon, right on time as discussed. He was kind enough to work with me and interact with the pain-in-the-neck Old Republic Insurance people needing tons of information in order to process a partial refund to me through my insurance. Matthew drained and hauled out the old, broken water heater. Put in the new one, did some pipefitting, wrote up the order/receipt and left around an hour or so later. All of this was in 110 degrees by the way. Matthew was pleasant, knowledgable, kind and efficient I had never used this company before, I will use them for any and all services they provide. Thank you Matthew for taking time out of your holiday weekend to help me and my family...it is truly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

We have an electrical problem with a rental house and contacted George Brazil for an evaluation. Tony V. arrived promptly and spent several hours troubleshooting the issues. He made corrections for the short term, but a more comprehensive solution is needed and we will contact him to schedule this as soon as possible.
