Spent a full day waiting on these guys and they never showed. When I called two hours after the end of my appt. window, I was told Yeah, I see you on the schedule but they probably won't make it today. I had to call them to find out. Don't bother.

On 12/6/2021, I (CMP) contacted BenjaminBL LLC Plumbing Services and explained to them that my water heater was not working. Ms. Emily who was quite professional and gracious scheduled me for a next day appointment. Benjamin was prompt, on time, and listened to my plight. Let me say this, Benjamin did everything he possibly could to repair the water heater. This included contacting the manufacturer on my behalf which I also did multiple times in a 24 hour span.I made the decision and said can you get me a water heater today? Benjamin got my house up and running with a better water heater, warranties; both his company's and the manufacturer within 3 hours. Holy hot water! I've always said you get what you pay for in this country. Benjamin and Emily are understanding, and very professional. I even called their office the next day to replace a bathroom faucet and Benjamin came out and also made sure that the new water heater was running fine. I even got a full refund from the previous water heater company as apparently there is a noted manufacturer's issue. Thank you Benjamin and Emily and yes, I will be using them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Danny came through on all accounts, and he was awesome to chat with while we waited for the parts to be confirmed by the supplier. He was so fast I wasn’t even ready for him to go (DANNYDON’TGOOO!) but he crushed it and left the area cleaner than he found it. On top of all that, he was super good twitch the pups. That’s a big ‘plus’ for us here. Thanks to Autumn in the office as she helped me properly schedule and coordinate; even when I forgot to get the right key and had to go back to start! Autumn was an absolute star! Danny was Mad Professional! Radiant is who I’m calling from now-on.

Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing is a lifesaver! He's come to our home several times, often last minute, to make repairs and make assessments. He is so professional, so responsive and so easy to work with. Their prices are always reasonable, and Blue Dragon never overcharges or repairs something that doesn't need a repair. These guys honestly bend over backwards for their customers, and always provide the highest quality work for the best price.

Drew at Daniel’s plumbing was great to work with. Took care of 2 problems at the initial estimate appointment. Since they had the part to fix my bathtub drain, he was actually able to come out the next day and fix it. Drew R was professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

Ray was really professional. He came out and found out why my faucet was leaking and fixed really quick. Amazing!

Fantastic experience with A&T. Had a leak that was so bad that Austin Water contacted me due to excessive water usage. Called A&T at 2pm, they had it done, yes done by 6 pm. Great work. Everyone was friendly with a sense of urgency. Corbin and Corbin, Associates, as I came to call them, explained everything as it was progressing, and made sure to get a quote before starting any major work. Had to call a few different plumbers around Austin the last couple of weeks, and Mr.Rooter has been the best and easiest to work with. Truly excellent group of plumbers.

Don’t use a plumber that 1) refuses to even give rough pricing over the phone, 2) uses a price book instead of an hourly rate, 3) charges a house call fee just to provide pricing.They’ll show up, glance at the project, and pull an exorbitant number from an obscure pricing system. You’ll pay $1500 for a 2 hour job because you don’t want to lose the diagnostic fee when you could have paid an honest plumber $150-200, maybe even $250, per hour to do the job.That was me 3 years ago when I was dumb and used Roto-Rooter. Never again. Now I have a guy I pay a fair hourly rate.

Called for a quote. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes. Finally Lee answered. I asked him how he was doing and he answered Im busy. Im not going to inconvenience them with any of my work.

He is well versed and went above and beyond to verify that everything was well and good before leaving. These folks go the extra mile to make things right! There was a bit of confusion the morning of my appointment and Johnny Rooter was not able to come at the time that was scheduled on the previous day, and they made the extra effort to come out the same day after hours to rectify the issue. Not only was the issue resolved, but they made no hesitation to assume responsibility. Things happen, and they did what needed to be done. Can’t ask for anything more from a service company!

I called Austin Plumbery as a third opinion on an issue going on with my sewer drain line. Ultimately they did not do repair work for me so I am rating them based on an initial diagnostic visit and a follow up.Strengths:- Cool that it's a local, women, and latino owned business- For the first call they were much more thorough than my first two opinions and actually identified that the issue was a lot less bad than I originally thought. Overall, I was really pleased that they didn't just go off of what the two previous guys said, but actually confirmed for themselves. Honestly, this alone saved me thousands of dollars and weeks of work to tunnel under my foundation and replace my pipes.The bad:- After this initial call, I wanted to get the issue fixed ASAP and requested a quote for the repair. It took them a whole week of me calling them every day to finally receive a quote for them *just* to dig a hole in my yard to see what was going on. On the day and time they were supposed to come, they flaked and said they'd have to come the following day instead, which would have been fine except that I had to call them and it was already the end of the day.- Because it had already been more than a week since the tech had been out to my house, the spray paint lines showing where the pipes were in my yard were gone. The tech did not have a scope to be able to figure out where the pipes were so had to go back to the shop to pick it up. He said he would give us a call back but never did.Overall, I'm disappointed because I wanted to give this company my business but ultimately I had to go with another company.

Outstanding doesn’t begin to describe how fantastic Abacus was. (March 2023) We needed a new A/C system and water heater. They were both 17 years old and I wasn’t going to wait until a blistering summer day when they “unexpectedly” failed to replace them. Our sales person Kathryn really went to bat for us in terms of pricing, financing, and timing.Abacus was the first company to give us an estimate, and after having a couple others come to the house, I called Kathryn back and she returned to our home and came up with a combination of financing, quality (Lennox), and pricing that FAR exceeded the other A/C companies’ bids. The installation took place the next morning and they were great as well. The A/C team of Jose and Jose were friendly, informative, and very professional. The Water heater team of Tito and Tim were as well. They went so far as to help me figure out why the water pressure in our home isn’t up to par. They didn’t have to do that. They just did it because I was talking about it. Outstanding!Both teams were super neat, organized, and clean. Our A/C & water heater are on the second floor so they draped a path from the front door and upstairs to ensure they didn’t mess up the carpet. They replaced their foot booties every time they came in and out. They even had booties on their dolly when they brought the old unit down and took the new one up.Can’t forget their office staff who communicated consistently and appropriately about when the teams would arrive and when the City of Austin inspectors would come out to issue their inspection and certification results.
