Melvin Haddix and his assistant called ahead of the visit then arrived on time. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They fixed the pipe blockage outside that was causing gurgling noises in out bathroom.

Water was pouring onto the floor and I had no way of shutting it off. One of their plumbers took the boss’s truck and came out immediately and fixed the problem. They also repaired a few other things and replaced a defective 40 year old toilet. I am so happy to find a plumber who cares. This is a genuinely local plumber who cares. You can’t beat that.

A&T showed up on time and went to work to find a hidden plumbing leak in our yard. After about 15 minutes, the technician said he would not be able to locate the leak because of the circumstances of our lot. He refused any payment since he didn't find the leak--that's amazing. I would absolutely call A&T Plumbing again.

Let the records show that on this day, I, Fonda Merritt, declared that Mr. Rooter is Austin's strongest plumbers. The work they do exceeds their competition in quality, and they charge highly affordable rates. Excellent stuff, all around.

Phoned Saturday evening about 5 to request an emergency visit for a leak in the water main. Rooter advertises itself as willing and able to respond to emergencies 24/7, at any hour. But when I called I was told that no one could come until the next day between 12 and 4. No one came. I phoned at 4 and was told that someone would come later, and to wait 90 minutes. A 6:30 someone phoned to say that no would come at all and that I would need to re-schedule. Roto-Rooter manipulates customers in this unprofessional, unethical way, stringing them along even when the company knows that the customer has suffered an emergency. When I opened the ticket Saturday evening, I informed the representative that another plumbing outfit could come on Sunday. But I went with Roto-Rooter instead. Quite a mistake. The company's utter disregard for customer welfare, and its false advertising of itself as willing and able to respond to emergencies, is shameful. Steer clear!

Steven and Dylan at Fast Plumbing just made my day! First, they were able to make time for me within several hours of my contacting the office. They arrived on time and took care of several jobs, two of which I hadn't even mentioned when I called. I'm pretty much done with all my plumbing and even HVAC needs (they blew out the line that was leaking) with one call. They were polite, professional, thorough, and explained everything.
