Best Drain Pumps in Austin TX
This is my 3rd time using S&D plumbing Jason Radford yet again display outstanding customer service going above and beyond expectations.Came in to fix a controller unit that was no longer working and performed the task in a timely manner with a great conversation and helped me look at additional products for the house well waiting.I’ve used Jason in the past and his level of customer care is the reason I’ll stay with S&D the part came in at 7AM I called S&D they put me on the waiting list but I asked for Jason only it was almost 6 or 7PM by the time Jason reached me. He had a long list and there’s a reason for that. He takes care of his customer if you asked me to wait 11-12 hours again for Jason I would!Anyone who read this review request Jason. One would never be (Disappointed) in the level of care you will receive.

I've been using Radiant for years for my plumbing needs. The technicians are always friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, clear and transparent. I recently purchased a new home and the former owners had lapsed in some of the maintenance. Radiant cleaned out and up what they could and get me set up with a regular maintenance schedule so things won't get so bad in the future. I highly recommend them!

Wanted to share my experience with Mr. Rooter plumbing service and how they tried to rip me off.Few weeks ago the sewage pump in my back yard failed and the float alarm went off. Basically this meant our sewage tank is full and the pump is not pumping the waste to the main city sewage line.I called Mr. Rooter and they sent Alvin Santoy for the Job. He came and gave me an estimate of $635.04 to drain the tank, pull out the pump, see if its good or not and if its good fix it.He drained the sewage on my lawn (which he should have drained in the city line), which first bad thing he did. I asked him if the motor is good, he said no its dead and I need to place it. he provided me 2 quotes. One for the same size motor (1/2 HP) for $2241.76 and second for 2HP grinder pump for $4220.50.I asked him that if i get my own pump will he install it for me. He said yes, so I bought the pump and asked him for a quote to install it. He left the premise for another job and asked me to call him when I have the pump. The new qoute just to install the pump was $2245.74, which is $4 more than the original quote.Alvin was extremely rude during his visit and would not give me straight answers so I had enough, I called the owner (Brent) and ask him not to do the job, I will figure it out myself. BTW during this time we have limit our bathroom usage since the pump it not working, very difficult with 2 kids.I decided to roll up my sleeves and do it my self. I checked the old pump and there was a tampon was wrapped on the wire and was sucked it into the pump rotors. I pulled it out it was working fine. Hence Alvin never bothered to check if the pump had any issues. I cleaned it up, secured the wire, reinstalled the pump in the tank and it was up and running. It took me 3 hours to do everything and get it up and running.BTW this happened last year, we just moved in this house and the pump got clogged. I called home warranty folks, the sent someone, he cleaned up the pump and charged me $450 for the job. Home warranty didnt cover the service. My point in sharing my experience is these companies prey on consumers and based on their situation, they jack up the price.Last but not least Brent (the owner) did refund 50% of the charges, but did defend that the qoutes were accurate and was fair price.I would not recommend Mr. Rooters for any plumbing job and specially beware for Alvin Santoy if he is the technician assigned to the job.

Andy came Saturday night around 10 pm and quickly determined that our problem was out pipe to the city sewer. He returned the next morning with a machine that spins a spiral snake into the pipe. Minutes later our clog was gone. He even beat his initial cost estimate. Thanks Andy!

I hate having the in-laws in and, sure enough, Karen managed the clog the toilet despite me consistently telling her we are on a septic system and she needs flush after EVERY defecation. My whole house reeked and I gave up trying to fix it on my own. I gave AAA Auger a call and they got here QUICK!About an hour and a half after my call two gentlemen came to my door. There was a short bald white man who went by the name “Rabbit” and a very sharp and handsome black man named Jordan. The older gentleman was very friendly with my dog and shared some treats with him.Jordan worked very quickly and was able to clear my toilet – it’s never better! Apparently my mother-in-law Karen was flushing used feminine hygiene products along WITH her defecation. Thanks AAA Auger! You make the in-laws more tolerable!

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater. One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad. Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater. I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars. Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing. He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape. At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. You won't go wrong if you call Jim.

It is well worth the drive from anywhere. This is my 2nd visit. It is quite in depth in the history. It is the jewel of Fredricksburg and then there is the rest, which is food and fun.
