I am having some issues with my foundation so, I wanted to get my plumbing checked to make sure that nothing was leaking. I called and got scheduled for an appointment quickly. The Technician (Lenny Rivera) showed up on time, was professional, and knowledgeable about his work. He performed the service and (thankfully) NO leaking detected! The process was easy and seamless and he even gifted me a cute stuffed dog and a flashlight! Will definitely call if I need service in the future! Highly recommended!
I can’t even begin to express how wonderful of an experience we had with this company. Nobody likes to have to unexpectedly replace such an expensive, big part of their home. Goettl made this task as enjoyable and positive as it could be. They listened to what we wanted and what we could afford. They didn’t try to talk us into anything we didn’t need. Their customer service was top notch. Jarod, Ivan, Gustavo, Juan, and Jonny were professional and courteous. They go above and beyond for their clients. They came to assess the problem around 9:00 AM and by 9:30 PM we had an entire new system inside and out!

Fast, same day repairs right before Christmas. Fair pricing. And a fantastic plumber who answered all my questions and stayed until the job was done!The Goettl team is fantastic! They arrived ahead of schedule and worked on the coldest day of the year to fix several damaged pipes. Everyone from the scheduling team to the plumber was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I’ll definitely work with them again and highly recommend them.

Have had a great experience with the company so far. Easy time scheduling/rescheduling on my end. And the crew (Joshua and Jared) were super professional and informative, and took their time to inspect my system and make sure everything is in good shape. The things that might need repair in the future they provided estimates on the remaining life and general repair costs associated. And seems like the annual maintenance plan is a good value. Look forward to continuing to use them in the future when something comes up.

We had a decrepit HVAC system in our condo that was dripping. Chris R was the technician that came out to assess our system and couldn't have done a more thorough job. Not only that, he made sure to explain every single detail to ensure myself and my wife were fully aware of the issues we would be facing short and long term. His advice ultimately helped us make the crucial decision to get a brand new system in place - although it was expensive, it was well worth the price! Customer service of Goettl was impeccable from beginning to end. Chris made sure to document everything that needed to be done, Carlos and Juan came the following morning (talk about quick turnarounds too) and installed everything effectively. They were extremely polite, clean and efficient, getting the entire job done in less than a day! I would highly recommend the three of them as well as Goettl to any of my friends and family, as well as all of you reading this. Excellent job.

Really good experience with Goettl today. Even though during the repair, another issue was caught, I was immediately told they’d get me on the schedule tomorrow morning to fix everything. Josh Toungate was the tech; super communicative, friendly and helpful! Would recommend for anyoneUpdate: Eben came by today to get everything up and running! Just got a service from goettl AC and I was impressed by the helpfulness of the office staff. From Kristina in answering and transferring my call to Robyn for scheduling and Erica making sure the bill was paid! I was floored. And even Lorenzo called a few days later and made sure that we had a 5 star service and directed me to leave a review! Amazing work and I will be recommending to all my friends and family.
Called Goettl based on great reviews. They lived up to the reviews. Scheduling person asked all the right questions to diagnosis what we needed, and Richard came out and replaced a frozen valve under the sink. Best service call of any technician from any trade I've ever encountered. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, clean, and helpful beyond expectations. He discovered another valve was broken in the house and gave a quick, no pressure, estimate for that repair as well. I won't call anyone else going forward.

Our service technician Chris Rios was awesome diagnosing our AC problem and quickly repairing it. Much appreciated especially in 90 degree weather on a Sunday. We recently had a new AC system installed by Goettl and from start to finish they were great. However an unexpected issue popped up. Goettl along with Chris handled the situation perfectly; timely (same day), with professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommend 'em!
I can't speak highly enough about the quality of care and service Reagan provided. Not only was she informative and made sure all my questions were answered but she went above and beyond ensuring the install was done in a timely manner and kept me updated the whole way. I even called on the weekend and she was still able to get the job done! She has made me a customer for life!

Chris came out the day before Christmas Eve to help us with our furnace. He did an amazing job of explaining what repairs needed to be made to keep us safe and warm while we wait to get a new system. Highly recommend Chris if you need someone to come out!
I highly recommend Goettl! My initial call was with Mia who was very helpful in finding an appointment day and time that worked out so well while explaining what Goettl had to offer. She then sent Jarod who was super helpful, patient and honest while servicing my A/C. He explained everything very well and was so thorough. (He also brought a cute Goettl stuffed dog and flashlight, which was fun!) It is comforting to know that I have found a reputable and honest company that I can trust to continue working with in the future for my A/C and plumbing needs! ?
There’s nothing like having your almost brand new AC start shutting off intermittently during a hot spell! I went online and made an appointment with Goettl and they had availability the next day. Jackson arrived and within 3 minutes was able to diagnose the problem, explained a workaround if it should happen again and after looking at the outside unit and under the house, discovered that the builders had failed to install a pea trap and vent as required. I cannot say enough good things about this company thus far, from the appointment confirmation people to the dispatch team, everyone has been professional and so very kind. This is Jackson’s last appointment of the day and it’s well past 7 at night and he’s still smiling and glad to help! Bravo Goettl!!!

I love the Sadie plan! It allows me to make sure that the regular maintenance is being done on my AC and plumbing to avoid surprises and costly repairs, as much as possible! Most recently Matt came out for one of my plumbing checks. He flushed my water heater to remove the sediment and made sure all my lines were clear. Super sweet and amazingly helpful! Had the same experience with the tech that came out for my cooling system check and the original tech that came out to take care of a drain issue that I had. I would highly recommend Goettl!
Chase Nordling from Goettl came out to perform maintenance on our water heaters. He noted the installer didn't do it properly, advised me and repaired it properly so I can do the descaling. I've had multiple plumbers out at my home, none were as honest and performed their work with the integrity of Chase. My heating went out on Sunday morning. I reached out to Goettl and received a call within a couple of hours. I scheduled them for Monday. Needed a new system that was installed the next day. Everyone at Goettl was great! They even worked with me on a payment plan and found the best financing for my budget. JJ
Once I made the appointment online, communication and confirmation emails and messages helps confirm when the technician will show up. The tech was friendly and took the time to do his job, even though it was getting late in the day. He was transparent with his assessments and made his recommendation for repairs, which made it easy for me to make a financial decision. The only bad part was the tech did rush the last part of the cleaning and missed one side on the unit. But it was a long day so I can empathize.
Had some issues with my air conditioning. Jamie De la Rosa was my service technician. He explained what was wrong with my system. Showed me what needed to be fixed. He answered all of my questions. Gave me options that I understood. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of my air conditioner/heating system.

A visit and evaluation was made and I was charged but no resolution was made. It was accessed that the job could not be performed because the tools were not on hand. I was also informed that if that was the case then the 89 charge would not be needed but I was still charged. I clearly explained the situation on the initial call. If it was clear it couldn't be done based on that conversation then I would not obviously used the service or required the visitation. I cannot review performance of work because no work was done.
I was appreciative that Goettl was able to do a same day service call. I also liked that on the website it said no charge for the service call. Chris Rios was my technician. He was professional, prompt, and answered all my questions. I was given several options and I am overall grateful for the service.
We love Goettl! Every tech we have worked with is very nice, very thorough, well trained and does a great job. Jackson was very helpful today with performing our AC/HVAC maintenance. Absolutely recommend!

had a clogged drain pipe, main drain, Tech came out to Diagnose the issue found a busted hanger under the house causing the pipe to belly in one spot. The tech recommended the entire line be re-piped because of this and left, charging $89 to come look at it and not clear the clog with an estimate of $2,567.50 to repipe a main drain that is only 2 years old, spent $45 on amazon for a 30' drain snake and hanger material and conducted the repair myself. Defiantly would not recommend and wish I hadn't payed for a company to try to shaft me.

I'm leaving a 5 star review only because that's the max allowed, it should be a 10 star!We had Goettl out for routine service on our HVAC system. (it's about 6 years old, but with Goettl maintaining it, it's running like a champ). The house itself though, and ducts, are 50 years old and having issues. Goettl cleaned them up, replaced the plenum, sealed it all up and added an antimicrobial UV light to boot and now we're like, what pollen? :)Thanks y'all!

A/C was freezing up. Called Goettl. Scheduled an appointment for the very next day. Communication was very clear. Joshua showed up exactly when he said he would. Quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue with the A/C. Courteous, professional, clean, and on time. NOT a former federal inmate. Less than 24 hours from start to finish. What more could you want?
Jackson was extremely nice. The initial greeting and the surprising gifts were impressive. He was knowledgeable and explained the entire repair process as he was fixing the clogged AC pipe. He had a pleasant conversation with my wife as well. Overall, excellent experience!

Placed a service call for a running toilet. Waited a week for the appointment & was given a 2 hour window, 9-11am, the day prior to the appointment. Service technician showed up right at 9am, spent a few minutes determining we needed a new flapper, then told me I was his first call of the day & his truck was completely bare, so he needed to drive 25 minutes back to the shop to get a flapper. Spent 45 minutes waiting on him, he was in and out in 2 minutes when he got back.Being his first call of the day, I’d expect him to show up with a fully loaded truck, or at least a flapper for a running toilet call. I would have preferred he made a quick trip to Home Depot instead of across Austin to the shop.It was just an annoying waste of an hour of my work day. Called to leave feedback as well & the receptionist was super nice.

Goettl was very easy and quick to schedule with and I especially like the text alerts they provide with status updates, and that you can text them on that same number. Richard A. repaired a clogged kitchen drain line, a clogged bathroom sink, rebuilt the drain line and also repaired a toilet that had a broken filter. Everything was repaired quickly and professionally. Richard took the time to educate me on the issues and how I can maintain my pipes to mitigate against future issues. I will use Goettl for all my future plumbing needs!

Richard A. from Goettl come the other day for a plumbing/flood inspection of our home. This is a free service if your a member of their Saide club. He was through and explained in lay terms what he was doing and what all his recommendations were. He checked the pipes and flushed out hot water heater for free. Gustavo and Ramiro came by, took out my old system, cleaned everything, and installed a brand new HVAC system with all tubing and lines and new thermostats and they did it all in about half a day! Amazing quality work and great customer service! If you need HVAC work, call Goettl and ask for Ramiro and Gustavo by name, they are the best techs I've ever run in to! I called Goettl same day my system stopped working on me. To my surprise they said they could get me in same day, but I would have to wait 5-6 hours. (Not bad considering it was same day). Not even 1 hour later, Jarod, who is one of their technicians showed up and was helping me with my issue. He quickly diagnosed my systems problem and gave me solutions to keep my system running and operating as it should be. I have 4 large dogs, so my system was dirtier than usual. No short cuts were taken, Jarod did everything correctly and helped me in every way he could. Many things he showed me, I was completely unaware of. I would use this company again and do highly recommend them.
I was having issues with my AC System occasionally freezing up, and booked their $129 maintenance special. Their technician, Chris Rios, came out the following day and gave the whole system a good looking over and cleaning. He found the issue… which was an old filter that had somehow gotten jammed up into the blower unit, restricting airflow. Chris shared the results of all his other findings as well, and advice going forward. It was all very professional and prompt service. I’ll definitely call them again if I ever need HVAC service.

Ken the plumber came out to do an inspection and service on plumbing work. Great service and very informative on everything he was doing and what it meant for my plumbing system.Kenyatte also came to service the air conditioning, explained everything thoroughly, and even highlighted some potential issues I didn’t know about.
Had my AC go down suddenly and called to have it serviced or fixed. They were able to get on it quickly and Chris Rios did a good job explaining what was wrong and game me good options to fix the issue. He did a good job fixing things and knocked it out fast.

Goettl recently replaced our upstairs AC unit, furnace and duct work; and were very pleased with their service. They were able to perform the work the day after finding mold in our duct work. AJ and Cobi were beyond professional, worked incredibly hard, and did quality work. There were a couple other technicians that worked on the job and they were super nice as well. Our HVAC system is working far better than the old system.We also use their HVAC maintenance program and are very happy with it. Every time that we have had a problem they have somebody out either the day of or day after our initial call. Our technician, Chris, is also very professional and easy to work with. They obviously focus on hiring quality people because their service is always outstanding.
UPDATE: After I initiated follow-up with Goettl, I was finally contacted by a manager. He took my issues very seriously and dispatched a senior installer to remedy problems with HVAC system, as well as coming to the site himself. He was very concerned with customer service failures, and promised to address as appropriate. While I am satisfied with the outcome, I would still be reluctant to refer others to this company based on cost and support. I have increased my rating from 2 stars to 3 on this basis.*****Goettl is extremely expensive, and for the money I would expect the absolute best care and maintenance. Sadly, I regret my investment with them. My HVAC has never been the same since I completely replaced it, I've had chronic problems with upstairs unit, and while I am bombarded with schedule your maintenance, emails, the left hand does not seem to know what the right hand is doing. Most recently, a team came in to repair some faulty duct work, completely hosed up the ducting so the downstairs unit cooled to 65 degrees and remained there, and the upstairs unit was at a balmy 85 degrees. OOOOPPPPS! When a tech the INSTALLERS requested came to pressure check, he found the ducts had been installed reversed. He did a temporary repair FRIDAY, told me someone would contact me Saturday or Monday to schedule proper repair. I contacted Goettl 10 am Monday, having not heard from anyone...and it is over an hour later and I am STILL WAITING. If I didn't have so much money invested with them, I'd absolutely pull the plug, and may yet. Meantime, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. Find a local company that cares about keeping your business in the long term, and takes pride in their work.
Just moved into a older house, I needed to make sure the plumbing was working properly, and I called in to get scheduled for a estimate Merissa helped me over the phone get set up for Sadie membership and while they’re out here I got quotes for a tub replacement. Great service 10/10 recommend

He showed up when he said he would, inspected my unit and explained to me a couple tweaks I could make at home that would improve our AC efficiency. We've used Goettl for a couple years now. They installed our new AC system about 3 years ago, everything is running perfectly. The whole experience was professional; Chris Rios came and inspected my heat and air system which imo was shot, and it was, got my old unit running so I could get some relief from the heat and humidity. He didn’t have to do it, but I was sooo glad he did. He ran through my options; repair or replacement and pros and cons of each. Very thorough.Next was John with financing. He was patient and helpful with finding me the right package.Juan Falcon and Carlos were the installers. Arrived early and worked until the job was done. Chris Rios came to help diagnose a HVAC problem. He and his co-worker, Kenyata, were very friendly and professional. They did a thorough job of investigating the problem and giving us options. I really appreciate their can do attitude.
Just moved back to town. I called and spoke to Merissa she got me set up with the Sadie membership and I get 10% off repairs. Goettl had a great Google rating and I see why with the customer service I received over the phone.
Our AC stopped working later in the evening. Called Goettl and they were able to send a technician! Jarod W came after dark and was able to look at our unit. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Showed us what steps we needed so keep our current older unit instead of a costly new one. We even signed up for routine maintenance so keep our unit for a long as possible. Unfortunately it was an electrical switch problem and not our AC so we had to call an electrician.

Very satisfied! The technician, Chris came to access why our a/c was freezing up. After accessing he said the coils were really rusted and corroded. They were too brittle to clean because of the constant freezing and thawing. He did a freon check and said there was definitely a leak. We decided to replace the entire unit. I called Goettl since the house I had purchased had been serviced by them, I found their sticker on my unit. I was having a problem with my air conditioning, and it being real hot here in Texas, I needed someone to come out and diagnose the issue. Luckily, I was able to get a service call within an hour, which I thought would be near impossible.Joshua showed up on time and was very professional. He took his time and answered all of my questions and explained some things I didn't know but definitely needed to be taught. He was patient and very thorough as he looked over the complete system to diagnose what the issue was.When he diagnosed the issue, he explained it and gave me an estimate for repairs. There was no pressure or hard selling for me to repair the issue. In fact, he told me that I could think about it and talk it over with others, if needed. That right there gave me a sense of relief as to what needed to be done. Suffice to say, I asked him to do the work.After okaying the repair, Joshua mentioned that he always carried these types of parts, which were needed to fix my unit, in his vehicle, which I thought was lucky for me and very pro-active. I was very thankful that he could do the work while he was here and I wouldn't have to wait and reschedule it for a later time.Once the work was completed, Joshua cleaned up and made sure all excess debris was removed. In addition, Joshua took pictures of my system for my profile, so that if there was any other issues in the future, a technician would have the most update information needed. Joshua also took before and after pictures of the unit and parts for my information and emailed them to me prior to him leaving.If I could give Joshua more than 5 stars, I would. I can't say enough about him, his responsiveness and professionalism were excellent.I will use Goettl again, as I signed up for their Sadie Guard Dog Protection Plan so they could continue servicing my unit and I won't get any surprises in the future.I wholeheartedly recommend them for your HVAC, Heating and plumbing needs.

Their office called to let me know they were running a little behind - which is excellent customer service. Usually I'm the one that calls a service company and asks for an update. They really got to our house quick, the guy was very professional and did a great job. Even ran a camera down drain after unclogging . Only thing that might have been better is if he had an end piece on the end of his snake. Possibly would have gotten more roots out.

The only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because of a tech named Bo. Our installation was a disaster. We contacted Goettl after it was “complete”, to let them know about the issues we were having. Bo showed up the next morning & worked the entire day fixing everything with a positive attitude & strong work ethic you just don’t see much of today. He gets 5 stars from me!
Jarod received the dispatch to come out to our location remove a faulty thermostat unit and replace it with a new digital one. After installing the new thermostat, Jarod went into the attic and thoroughly inspected the HVAC duct and ventilation system. Afterwards, Jarod gave us a detail review of the faulty system with photos. We appreciate the review and insights, so we know what to be cognizant of in the future. From scheduling to the appointment, the folks here were extremely helpful and honest. Our central AC has gone out during 100+ temperatures and they were able to move up our appointment to same game from 3 days out. The tech even arrived for the appointment a little early. Due to the issue being major and covered under our builders warranty it would have been extremely costly to have Goettl repair. They gave me transparent and honest advice to go through the warranty to make sure I’m not incurring a huge cost.

Three weeks ago I had a sicking feeling in my stomach when I realized that our A/C was not working. I went outside and the line was frozen so I resigned myself to a very expensive repair job. I had had my system looked at a few years back by Dayton, and they were great then. Just a blown capacitor on the compressor outside. At 17 years, I was sure the A/C was shot. I called out Dayton and they had a technician there that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem was with the fan, another blown capacitor. Just this time I thought it would be good to get some estimates for a new system. I had had some companies come out and try to sell me a 14 seer system for over 10 thousand dollars. Turns out the sales job was just that. Dayton never pushed me to get a new system. When the tech walked me through the estimate for repairs which was only 300 dollars, and then what a new system would cost since it was 17 years old. It turned out the new system was half that cost of what the other companies wanted. I decided to go with the 17+ seer system which still was still substantially less than what the other company was trying to charge for a 14 seer 3 ton system. I even have a WiFi thermostat to boot now!Instillation only took a few hours, and now my house has been as cold as I want to make it for three weeks. Nothing like the peace of mind that the A/C is not going to go out in the middle of a Texas summer! My entire family has used Dayton for years. I wish all companies had the same service! Thank you Raul and the guys for an excellent job!Sadly our experience with Goettl has not been the same. They are courteous and prompt but that comes at a premium price. They will recommend and the most expensive option which in my opinion exceeds the price of their competition. It is clear they are a large company.

They came out to replace wood floor under my ac unit (water damage made the old one soft). Mechanically everything looks good. The issue is the finished product. They had to remove door sill to get unit out of closet and they never put it back!!! To make it worse they took pins out of hinges to remove the door and I can only find one pin. For a company that says the policy is the right way I have found too many short cuts to truly beleive that. The guys were nice and the AC works but the job is certainly not finished!Update: Goettle reached out to me personally to correct the issue. Maybe they should be 4 star because I had an issue but I decided to give the 5 because the company at least made it right by sending a crew to put door back up and get a new hinge to replace the missing one. Will inspect final product this week (been busy) but assume all is good if I don't update this post.

I had heard the radio ads for Goettl for multiple months that sounded a bit too good to be true, but when one of my A/C condenser units began making noises it shouldn't, I thought I would put their ads to the test.I have to say that after the Goettl Technician (Chris) showed up on time, and very professionally and efficient fixed the issue as well as performing a Semi-annual maintenance service on my other 2 units, I was quit impressed. Air conditioning stopped blowing cool air. They prioritized and got someone out same day , over 100 degrees. Kept us informed through the day until they arrived. Issue fixed in 1 hour!! They live up to their reputation and exceeded my expectation!!
I called this company on Sat July 2nd after my home warranty American Home Shield couldn't find anyone to send out to fix my AC, but Goettl sent out tech Dave. He came, on a Holiday, he was professional, had a great attitude, very helpful and explanatory and did what he could to get my AC up and running. He came back the next day to complete the task as businesses were closed for July 4th. He was the most pleasant tech I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with for years. We are very happy with Goettl! Yesterday (Thursday), Chris Rios came out to give us a quote as our A/C died on Monday. He was on time, courteous, professional, and he knew what he was talking about. He listened to us and what our needs were. We decided to go with this company on the spot after having others come out and give us quotes. Once Chris realized we would be spending another night in our hot house, he went out and brought us a loaner portable a/c unit. Today (Friday) I am happy to say that we have a new unit and all is right in our world again. The guys that came out today to put the system in were also very courteous and professional. All I can say is call Goettl Today!!! I had four other companies quote me that were around the same price but couldn't compete with the extra amount of services offered by Goettl. Bo was my technician he was very personable and even more knowledgeable he made me feel extremely comfortable through the entire process. All I needed was a motor Replaced in an outdoor unit and they looked at both units inside and out. They are impressively thorough with the links they go to check every detail of your systems. I would highly recommend Goettl to any and everybody who needs any type of AC heating or plumbing services, they went above and beyond what I had expected. I'm sure every technician is great but I highly recommend asking for Bo and you will be happy you did!! Thanks to Goettl and KVET 98.1 for the recommendation, the commercials were right!

Our tech Jarod was extremely helpful. Our property managers are impossible to get in contact with, but he made it bearable. He did most of the communicating to make it easier on us and stayed helping us for as long as he could (until our property management office closed). I would give him 6 stars if I could and I wish our management used this company instead of dumb fast ac.

Our condenser motor stopped working during the hottest week in Texas. We called everywhere and no one could get to us till after the weekend. Called Goettl and spoke with Alexis who was helpful and found someone who could come the same day, worked with us as renters. Jeremy was the BEST mechanic! Been a long time customer before Goettl took over Dayton.Pros: Excellent customer service. I like their scheduling system and support. Techs are good when they come out as well. Overall, I like the company.Cons: they feel like a big box company now, lots of upselling and lots of tactics to try to get you to buy maintenance plans, warranty, upgrades etc. I feel like I'm speaking to a sales team every time I call. I do call often as I have 7 properties. I also think their prices are kind of on the higher side.This specific 3 star rating is for their most recent call. Tenant says they weren't getting hot water. Called Goettl out, they said the pilot was out. They charged my $195 to re light and tests. I've re-light pilots myself before. $195 is absurd! I did a Google search and they said it ranges from $45 to $170. So...I'm a bit disappointed in goettl.

Great inspection done by a competent and considerate young professional. At the end of the evaluation the wrap up indicates that there was not much that required immediate attention but I was left with the impression that I had nerves by a true professional. I was happy that the system tested out to not require immediate attention but I was equally satisfied that I had finally found a service provider that I will happily contact the instant that I need service. Trust is a valuable commodity in today’s environment.

I had my entire system replaced, moved to the attic, re did all the duct work and insulation put into my attic.There were a few issues with scheduling but eventually got done.It’s been 6 days and my system stopped working, I called to have someone come out to check it out and was told the soonest someone can come out is Thursday(24hrs later) fast forward to 24 hours later no one shows up. I called again and the person on the phone said that they don’t have me on the schedule until next Friday. At this point my house has been maintaining 84 degrees for 24 hours while it’s 106 outside.As of now I would not recommend any service done by this company.Way to waste 34,000.00 dollars

I am disappointed to have to edit my review. After the initial work was completed it took an incredible amount of time and effort to get them to come and complete the project. This was my original review: After having four other companies try and complete the diagnostics and replacement of our entire HVAC system, they actually got it done! The cherry on top whas that both services were done within 24 hours.**Even after they reached out to me to schedule the City inspection, which I was told I had to be present for and thetefore took off work, no one showed up or has responded to my calls.

Goettle has treated me right since my first call to them 3 years ago. If some reason they are unable to make it they call you the day before or early the morning of so you are not waiting. The reps seemed to have been trained properly because each time one has came out I learn something new that I didn't know about my system. Most recently, Christian S. came out and thoroughly explained why things were happening and provided a resolution to help. He also, in my opinion, went above what he was supposed to do to try and help me resolve the problem without paying an arm and leg for it. I would definitely recommend Goettle and their staff to do a job.

Andrew came to check our Plumbing System on the afternoon of July 27th. This was/is a part of our Sadie Club membership. As it was thought that he might be a little bit delayed for our appointment time, Lisa called from Goettl to let us know. However, he was able to arrive within the 1:00 - #:00 pm window. He was very efficient and we felt that he did an excellent job!
I am done with Goettl, except for warranty work on my new furnace, air conditioner and water heater. I asked the technician specifically not to reduce my water pressure; I already had a reduction in water pressure with the recent installation of my water softener by another company. The technician reduced it anyway, and it's so disappointing. I will never recommend Goettl to anyone. On the contrary, after this and the present problems with a new a/c, I will strongly discourage everyone who will listen to stay away from Goettl.

Wonderful service! I called on a Friday afternoon for an ac repair and they were there by Saturday at 1. They got my ac up and running and provided a quote for some maintenance.UPDATE: when my tenant got home at midnight she said the house had not cooled down and the ac was still not working. I called right away and they couldn’t get me in until Monday am. unfortunately this means my tenant has been without AC in an extreme heat advisory for the entire weekend.UPDATE: they were able to get me in today 11-1!

A/C wasn't working at all. Technician came out and advised total system replacement, as I suspected since it is 12 years old and I've had issues in the past. His supervisor advised him to replace drain line knowing that it might not be helpful, but reassured me that it would go to the cost of a new system. I paid around $400 for visit and never heard from them again with estimates on a replacement. I reached out via email and no response. Would definitely not recommend Goettl if you have urgent AC repair needs.

I've been waiting for this company to service my warrantied AC for 2 days now. I've been rescheduled twice. And they tell me it's because they over booked themselves. Then they say it's because others take priority because of medical conditions. I understand that but I have a 9 month and 3 year old in the middle of 104° weather, but I guess they don't matter. I feel like once they get you to buy a $10,000 AC and they know you're tied into their warranty they just put you on the back burner.

I was given an 11 to 1 window that I took time off work to be available for and no technician showed up or even communicated that they wouldn't be able to make the appointment window. Goettl also wanted $89 just to come out. I would recommend finding a better company to work with that actual respects your time.

Long story short: we changed the batteries on our thermostat inside and the whole system stopped blowing cold air, yet the system was still blowing. Joshua from Goettl came out and tried to diagnose the problem for 3 hours. His conclusion was that the battery change on the thermostat was completely unrelated to the AC unit failing and told us the circuit board was “faulty” (I guess it was all coincidence for the entire system to fail after we had problems with the thermostat). After he tried to charge us $1500 for a new circuit board we looked elsewhere to get more help. A technician from Centex Air & Heat came out later in the day and diagnosed the problem with the thermostat. He changed the thermostat and $200 later everything is working fine. Be careful out there everybody!
Joshua was friendly, professional, and well-informed. He was able to answer all of my questions and provide additional information. Our unit is only a couple of years old and in good condition. He did an evaluation and came back with one simple, reasonable recommendation. Very trustworthy.

We have been with this company for a while but at this time they are having a bad service. This is a Daycare so anything about no cooling is an emergency, so they don't care.I had an emergency today (Friday) but the next appointment is for next Thursday.How can l keep kiddos for almost a week without cooling. This is the 2nd time my AC has gone out in less than a year since I bought the new unit. Last time was over a holiday and it took several days to get the part because no one was working. This time it is over the weekend and the technician cannot get in contact with anyone to get the part because no one is working. If your technicians are working on the weekend, then they should be able to get in touch with someone to get the parts needed. The technicians are always very nice, however I’m getting tired of this new AC unit having problems and no one is working to get the part and I’m beyond frustrated. And tired of taking time off work because it keeps breaking and and no one‘s around to get the parts needed on the day it occurs.Please have it fixed so I do not have to deal with it again. The 20yr old AC unit I had before worked better than what is being installed. Please figure out the problem.

I needed to edit this critique. I’ve learned NOT to fill out these surveys immediately! You should wait a week! Since my system was “fixed” it hasn’t performed at all. Oh sure the new condenser is performing but the thermostat that is set at 78 is reading in the upper 80s! I’ve had two appointments scheduled for Goettl to come back and re evaluate but both times some other “emergency” at some other clients home has taken precedence.

Waited 3 days for an appt. Took off work cancelled my hotel said they would be at my home to fix or replace my ac between 3 and 5 pm. At 2:50pm called to cancel saying they were busy. I complained loudly. They agreed to reschedule same day between 7 and 9 pm. No one showed up again. No managers answering. Said they would come on Saturday at 1pm. Now I wait to see if they will come or not. I’m old, have medical issues and they are taking advantage.

When my AC went out, it was my worst fear. I knew it was going to happen one day. I bought my home in 2003 and I still had the same AC that came with the house. But as a homeowner on a budget, if it doesn't break I didn't fix it. Well it finally broke and I was frantic. Jared with Goetl replaced my old AC. He was prompt and professional. He obviously knew his trade well and took care of everything without any issues.When I got a Nest, Jared returned to fix the connection with no judgement. Yes technology is evolving but us older folks sometimes don't know how to make it work!And when my AC stopped working, Jared returned quickly to replace a part under warranty. Jared is a lifesaver! I have two senior dogs and I was terrified to leave them in the house without AC. But Goettl provides quick service and turnaround. I am very pleased with their service and if all the other technicians are like Jared then you have a class A - five star company!P.S. Added a picture of my senior babies. I set an appt to get a quote for ac replacement, the tech showed up with out calling, as I was told he would. The tech looked at everything took pictures, called the office and had someone talk to me over the speaker phone. It was a very unprofessional conversation in my opinion, they wouldn't give me a clear quote only round about numbers ranging from 12k to 20k for a 2 ton replacement in a two bedroom house. I asked for a written quote So I could see exactly what they were replacing and what the price would be, the guy on the phone said he would have it over in about 30 min. One week later and I still have not heard a word from them. I guess they just don't need the business and didn't want to mess with my small house! I will look elsewhere.

I responded to a Goettl email about replacing our home A/C unit. They promptly sent Joshua out to inspect our existing unit and take measurements. Joshua was well dressed and professional about his duties.
The only reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 star review is because the technician was scheduled between 11-1 pm and I had to call them at 1:45 to inquire on a technician. He showed up at 4pm. Other than that the experience was great. The tech, Jarod, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He found the problem and fixed it pretty quickly. I would recommend Goettl to others
Our AC went out right as temperatures were hitting high 90s. Called several companies/referrals and Goettl was the fastest. Jeremy (Bo) came to our house and was incredibly professional and pleasant to work with.We did have scheduling issues that were inconvenient and delayed Jeremy, however, he acknowledged the problem (beyond his control) and gave us a discount for the trouble. He was quick and not only replaced the issue but also talked through things to look for in our somewhat aging system.

Exceptional first time experience using Goettl AC Services. Made my appointment last Sunday afternoon with Akansha, after discovering my AC was not working. Akansha was polite, informative, and helpful. The next morning Goettle dispatched a senior HVAC Service Tech, Chris. Chris was professional and diagnosed the problem quickly. The repair was completed in less than 20-minutes and he stayed an extra 20-minutes to monitor the system in order to confirm resolution. Service was reasonably priced, and staff courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely use Goettl AC Service again -- perfect experience. I plan to try Goettl Plumbing Services next week on a remodel. Thank you again.
I purchased a Goettl “rejuvenation” where they serviced my ac system in the winter, checked plumbing, then were supposed to return in the spring to do a final check and maintenance of the ac unit. Problem is I CANNOT get them to show up for the final appointment. They have cancelled on me twice because they are too busy with broken ac appointments. So I purchased a service from a company that is understaffed. I’ve sat here for two Saturdays waiting for a technician to show up for five hours each time with no update, no phone calls, no text - wasting my time. This last time I actually had to call the service center and see where the tech was because my appointment time was from 1 PM to 3 PM and they said he would be out closer to 3 PM, here it is 4:30pm and I have to call them so they could tell me they can’t come out. If you can’t come out why can’t you call me?! I do not recommend this company, I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I want my money refunded and I will go with another company that is dependable and trustworthy when I have any ac needs. Goettl’s rejuvenation and ac system check is really just a sales ploy to get in your house and sell more products to you instead of really just doing maintenance on your unit. The plumbing check is a complete waste of money. How do you thoroughly inspect my kitchen drain if you never even looked under the sink? I know because I had a bleach bottle product that was leaking and I thought for a second I had a water leak underneath my sink, this was right after Goettle came out. If they would’ve done their job properly and moved the cleaning products around they would’ve seen something was leaking and looked further into it, to make sure it was not a water leak.
Derek did a great job. He was very professional and on time. He did a good job explaining to me what was going on with my air conditioning system. He made repairs very quickly and there was no mess afterwards.

We received a complimentary AC check from Goettl. Our service technician, Dave Villarreal was great. Dave was very respectful and extremely personable right off the bat. it was like having a family friend visiting our home. I was naturally curious about what he was inspecting, and he thoroughly explained it all to me without seeming annoyed what so-ever, which I've experienced in the past, with other AC service businesses. Our 12 year old system did show indications of the beginnings of potential mold growth, so Dave and his sales guy presented me with options without ever trying to sell me, which was very refreshing. They simply presented me with the facts, and suggested remedies to the issues that they found. Dave also provided a ton of digital photos of the every step of his inspection, which showed any issue that he found. Oh and Dave noticed that I had little kidos, so he left some Goettl swag for them as well ... a flashlight, and a couple of little stuffed animal puppies for my little ones. I'll definitely be using Goettl in the future. Thanks a bunch Dave - it was good talking to you.

I like to think that their technician didn't know what he was doing when he told us our 3 year old unit was leaking from the ac coil and would need to be replaced for over 3 thousand dollars.... Our AC went out late on a Friday afternoon with 100 degree temps outside. We first called the company that I stalled our system 2 years ago and could not get a response. We found Goettl via a Google search and SO glad we did. They sent a tech out the next day who was able to get the AC back online immediately. I've lived in my current home for more than 21 years. In that time I've had numerous A/C technicians come to perform different services. I had Chris Rios visit my home today and I have to say this was the most pleasurable and educational experience I've had regarding my A/C system. He was on time, explained everything he was going to do and left me with pictures of my A/C system and the work done. He also left me with several tips on how to get more out of my system and prevent repairs. I've already set up service for my in laws home and will be requesting for Chris Rios to do the work.

Andrew at Goettle was amazing! He came in to fix multiple issues left by innept contractors that American Homeshield sent out to repair both of my hot water tanks. I highly recommend Goettle, they work at a higher level than most contractors out there. Stayed with the job until it was completed properly. I willcontinur to use them for my plumbing and AC needs.
Terrible service. Last year they sent a technician to tune up my AC without a ladder even though I shared one was required. The technician left garbage (his meal he ate on my patio) behind, chemical containers behind, a root beer and paper for me to clean up. He then scratched my freshly painted walls trying to use my ladder that I said was too big to fit thru house. He tracked mud throughout my home in this process. Finally he tried to jump and crawl into my attic by using my stepstool and walls. This caused a bathroom large mirror to fall and shatter. I told him multiple times I could reschedule my appointment. No one ever came to repair this as I was promised. After MONTHS of promises that they would rehang a mirror I purchased, I was told to hire someone and they’d reimburse me. Months later I was reimbursed. I was very calm and understanding. As a good will gesture they asked for another chance. They come back to my home and tell me I need attic insulation added. I sell stocks (at a loss) and take the day off work only to have them cancel on me less than 24 hours before appointment. Signed contract and all. They over call to constantly move appointments or follow up on appointments. No joke in 1 week I had 13 calls from them - none of which include the sales pitch calls or them cancelling on me.I do not recommend this company. They are disorganized, expensive (claim that you get top notch service w the price but I’d beg the differ), and grew too fast to the Austin market.
For a company who prices themselves on top notch service I have had TWO terrible interactions with them. Shame on me for assuming giving them a second chance was a wise decision.First, about a year ago they came to my home to do a AC tune up. I had a long call to get the appointment set up where I was told the technician would wear boot overs, bring a ladder (as I shared it was needed) and other information. The technician showed up without a ladder, ate dinner on my patio (which was fine) BUT left his garbage including food wrappers and a root beer glass bottle along with paperwork, a chemical cleaner and sticker wrappers. Once inside, he asked to use my ladder which is too large to go upstairs. I told him this and he insisted on trying, scratching my freshly painted walls. Then when he realized the ladder was too large, he used my step stool and attempted to JUMP into my attic. I offered nicely and politely to reschedule my appointment countless times, which he declined. Due to jumping against my walls, he caused the bathroom mirror to fall and break into a huge mess. When it was all said I done, I was left with mud on my floors, my AC not serviced, a ladder and step stool to put away on my own, glass to clean up and his dinner mess to clean up. I left a review on the company vowing to never use them only to be bribed with gift cards, promises they would come rehang a bathroom mirror (never did) and free service for 2 years to give them another chance....I did....well that was a mistake....I sold stocks at a bad time after I signed a contract to have them add 12 inches on attic insulation which they pressured me to do ASAP. I clear my schedule, take off work, sold stocks, and was prepared for the appointment only to have them cancel 24 hours before the appointment. I took a loss with the stocks and now will need to take another day off a work...They spam call non stop to move appointments, to add sales calls with a lot of pressure, to follow up on appointments and to cancel appointments. No joke in 1 week I had 13 calls from them.I do NOT recommend this company. Disorganized, untrained, unprofessional, and wildly expensive. They justify their prices by priding themselves on their customer service, but I can say with 100% certainly, they are one of the worst companies in Austin Texas.

I called Goettl based on their reviews, Big mistake. My A/C went out in 100 degree heat on sat July 23, I called Goettl and tech arrived the next day sunday and determined the inside fan motor was bad. He was going to order a new one and check on loaner portable a/c. Monday came and no call. I call Goettla and some mumbling about parts problem, and no one at the warehouse to check on loaner. Tuesday came and no call. Finally reached someone but gosh, for some reason parts not available because vendor had cut them off. Its now afternoon of 3rd 100 degree day with no A/C so I called another company that arrived in 30 minutes, returned in 2 hours with new fan and back up with working A/C in 3 hours. Apparently Goettl used to be like that..... Avoid!!!!

We called Goettl for an HVAC repair. The tech who came out, Beau, was nice and seemed knowledgeable. He recommended we replace both systems because they're very old. We agreed it was time. That's when things went off the rails. He immediately called a higher up to schedule a replacement. The higher up told us an estimate over the phone--$34,000 for 2-ton and 2.5-ton *builder's grade* HVAC systems. They never emailed us an itemized estimate of where all that money was going, and they really, really pushed us to set up an appointment asap and agree to everything over the phone. The estimate seemed insanely high and we felt very pressured, so I called Goettl the next day to say we were going to call around for more estimates from different companies. As soon as it was clear we were doing that, the guy on the phone couldn't be bothered to be nice anymore and all but hung up on us. We reached out to another company -- Alamo Austin Air, a reputable company that's been in business for years. The owner came out to look at the systems and quoted us $18,000 total for much better quality systems with higher efficiency ratings. No pressure to all, sent us a detailed quote with a variety of options, and told us to take our time deciding. Needless to say, we cancelled our appt with Goettl because the price was just outrageous.

Beware!!Over 10 days we had six different HVAC companies give us quotes for a complete system replacement. Of course materials and prices will be different but I did not expect Goettl to damage my property, placed their sticker on my operating water tank and never gave me a quote. I am an educated consumer and just needed the price. After 24 hours I called them, of course through their call center and ask for my quote. during that call I asked to speak to a supervisor and I’m still waiting. It has been almost a week and no contact..I guess this is what they call “doing things the right way, not the easy way“

They've rescheduled us at least 3 times over the course of the month. Today is repair day, have not seen or heard from them. Came in isolated my defective part and restored the system in less than 15 mins. Impressed with the speed and assuring that I was aware of what causes my particular defect. We bought our Daikon System from Dayton before it became Goettl and haven’t had a minutes problem. We have very low electric bills and the system is so quiet, too.

I accepted a 'FREE' furnace inspection scheduled for today. Expecting the up-sell as the actual reason for the visit, it turned out to be quite the opposite. The technician Joshua was professional, respectful and thorough in his inspection of my 2 furnaces in the attic. Fortunately, my systems checked-out to be in good shape. There are additional components that could enhance the 7yr old units, he was respectful of my decision to pass on making the decision on-the-spot (UV lights in plenum and evap coils + 4 media filters). 5-stars for both Goettl & Joshua!!
I was having issues with my air conditioning over the weekend. Called Goettl Sunday morning and they were able to have a technician come out and service my AC that afternoon before the temps got into the 90s.Derrek was my technician and I could not recommend him enough. He not only fixed my AC quickly, but also took the time to explain my overall HVAC system and how to fix the issue I was having on my own so I wouldn't have to go without AC over the summer for a similar issue.I could not recommend Goettl enough, and I will be using them for all my HVAC needs going forward.

It's absolute thievery. We got an estimate from them that our board for the AC would need to be replaced for $1500. We got another quote from a different business for $500. My husband went online and found the part for $120 and was able to install it himself. Don't let this business steal your money. Go somewhere else.

I really wanted to believe the radio commercials for Goettl, but I truly learned my lesson. #1, I took off work to be at home between 3pm and 5 pm. 3 minutes before the window, I received a phone call asking if I could reschedule because someone was out sick and they admitted they should have called me that morning. #2, I rescheduled for the next morning and was told they would get there between 8:30 and 9, they didn't show up until 9:30, however, I do understand traffic can affect arrival times. #3, the technician immediately went in for the upsell and gave us a quote of $600 for a simple repair. Also gave wrong info regarding copper pipes. We were able to get another company to do an honest repair for a reasonable price.

Communicated very well before scheduled appointment time, and showed up exactly when they said they would. Was very professional and courteous, diagnosed and made the repair quickly and efficiently. Did not try to upsell or add any additional services... made some recommendations for upcoming maintenance and possible leak testing, and emailed a thorough estimate detailed what we discussed. Overall very pleased with the entire experience with Goettl and will certainly call them again if/when needed.

Google did not give me the option to do a new review so I'll add after 3 to 4 years Dayton now goettl owned is still as awesome. Today THE A. TECHNICIAN WALKER serviced the unit addict and went, to me the extra mile to clean the radiator fins in the outside unit. Everyone in Dayton and now goettl are always friendly respectful and you YOU CAN TELL THEY CARE. JARED also has been out over the years and always been a pleasure like WALKER today!!!I just had a full HVAC system replaced by Dayton and the crew was awesome. We purchased the inside and outside units. We also had them install a new dual zone system in our 2 story home. I feel bad I do not remember thier names but everyone worked very hard. They were all very professional and explained many things during the process. The crew leader was very good with the team and worked just as hard or harder. Unfortunately our attic was smaller than expected. This caused the install to extend way more than anyone expected. Dayton's crew stepped up and kept moving as fast as they could since only 1or 2 people could be in the attic. They kept working until we had cold air when they could have stopped when it got late. We would gladly suggest Dayton and their installers. Also the 12 year warranty/ 1 year parts and labor says something about the units. Plus financing they them gave us 60mnth no interest. Plus no payment for a few months. So when the 60mnth kicks in we will have already brought the payments down. A much larger company ARS was not even close to that financing and only had a 10yr warranty.Please Dayton let your install crew know how much we appreciate them and their hard work.

They are AMAZING !! I don't say this lightheartedly. Not only did they fix the botched work another company did, they showed up the same day I called ( in less than an hour !! ) I an extremely pleased and wish the home warranty would contract through them vs the other company .
I called them at 2am and actually spoke with a staff member(not a machine) and scheduled them to come by because our house had a terrible leak. After Andrew arrived the next day, he went through every possible scenario and had me along with him to explain everything in detail. When the leak in my home turned out to be a mystery to us both, he finally had to cut into our walls(which he was trying to avoid) and luckily after the previous, extensive, process of elimination, he found the leak on the first cut. At this point we went over the entire process of repair and what my options and cost would be. Unfortunately everyone is short staffed(everywhere) right now, but they sent a crew from one of their other branches over 2 hours away to make sure they could get the job done as quickly as possible and try to mitigate our water damage (which was extensive, but could've been much worse if it had taken any longer to repair). I called 4 different plumbers at the same time that night, only 1 other answered the phone, and they couldn't get anyone to my house(with a massive leak in it) for almost 3 more days, and the other 2 companies have yet to return my calls. If I ever have a plumbing or HVAC issue in the future, I will not hesitate to contact Goettls first. Andrew(Austin), Juan and Alfredo(San Antonio). Thank you all very much for your help, your great work, and your professionalism. I can see what Sadie sees in the 3 of you. Thank you again!

I had my hot water heaters drained and flushed. Andrew and Josh did the service. Extremely professional men. No dillydallying they did exactly what they were supposed to do it took less than one hour to have two water heaters drained and flushed. I highly recommend GOETTL.
Coordinating with this place is a nightmare. The Austin team was recently acquired by Goettl and customers are suffering from it. Let me say, the AC tech was super great. Great service, and we hope to have him back. Not his fault, but the management, scheduling and communication with the Austin Goettl business team is horrible. I called this place multiple times to try to get details and information about our appointment. They are super backlogged in Austin and it will take 2+ weeks to get anyone to you, even if your AC isn’t working in 90+ degrees. Corporate support team is nice, but try to get ahold of the local team and you are out of luck. Our tech let us know that we could get a plumbing check if we joined their Sadie Guard Dog service. We are trying to schedule it, but online are told the service isn’t available. Now I’ve tried calling multiple times and can’t get ahold of anyone. I press the appropriate buttons for a call back and never get anything back. I don’t understand, do they want business or not? Goettl, please clean up this acquisition quick.
We had a leak from our air conditioner. Chris Rios came, listened to our concerns and fixed the issue. Goettl honored the warranty from another acquired company as well.

We spent the first 10 minutes of the call just to get my name, address, email and phone number into her profile. Pretty frustrating as she could not spell, could not repeat my info correctly and did not seem to be all there in the conversation with me. Then I asked about service/trip charges which she said $89. No problem. I get and understand trip charge fees. I asked does this get applied to the cost of the work, from which she could not understand the concept. After a detailed description of that concept, she replies - no, trip charge is on top of any service provided. I chose to decline any further scheduling at that point. If she's correct, this is a terrible business policy. If she's wrong, then she shoudnt be on phones with new (or any) customer.Dont know the quality of work. I guess I wont know.

Wonderful service but definitely had communication issues with appointment makers. Tried 4 times to get seen for routine required maintenance on systen since October before finally getting seen today. Today they were going to reschedule again. I insisted they did not follow their own rules. They said they'd text or call 30 minutes prior to contractor showing up. I set my phone since i sleep in to not ring until after 8:15. Soonest contractor was suppose to come was 9am. Phone service texted and called at 8:01-8:05. Said that since i did not respond that I was home by 8:15 they'd move on. This was not appropriate as these contacts were made 55 minutes before appointment and not as their previous texted system sent me 30 minutes prior to time. My alarm clock was set for 8:15 so I'd be up and ready to unlock my entrance gate. I've never ever not been here for an appointment for them....this was inappropriate treatment. I don't play with businesses and vice versa expect when someone says 30 minutes prior I take them literally. Since I'm the first service call i expect them not to call sooner. It's not like it's the afternoon and they finished the prior job sooner. Management can call me for copies on text msgs if desired. TY.

Goettl tech said there was no freon so leaking somewhere. Freon alone would be about $900-1100 plus parts & service. Another company came, said feron a little low, maybe a pound or two & the valve was leaking. Won't be using Goettl again.

I was super impressed by Goettl AC's response time. My second-floor AC unit displayed an error message late on a Saturday afternoon. The unit stopped working roughly 24 hours later at which point I emailed a description of the problem to the company's general email address. Their tech support team phoned me from the AZ office at 10:00 PM on Sunday evening to discuss the problem. During that call we moved up a service call I had arranged with Goettl by phone on Saturday afternoon for the following Wednesday. Their technician was at my house the next day, Monday, at 1:00 PM to analyze the problem. Unfortunately his intervention and analysis weren't very precise. He managed to get the AC unit back into operation by tightening up some connections. By 6:00 PM that afternoon it had stopped working again, at which point I phoned Goettl back. They arranged for a second technician to stop that Tuesday afternoon. This guy knew his stuff. Within 15 minutes he had diagnosed the problem, a faulty capacitor on the upstairs AC unit. That's a dead easy repair and he completed it in another 15 minutes followed by detailed recommendations for ongoing service of the system. My cost was minimal because the system was/is still under warranty. Mission accomplished in record time.

I had previously used this company before for some plumbing issues and the plumber was so nice and helpful I kept the contact. This time I called them for a second opinion on work done on my ac unit by another company and honestly, I should have called them first, but I had purchased a maintenance contract with first company. The technician Chris from Goettl did his assessment found some problems, took pictures and was very polite in allowing me to follow him around and he explain what he was looking at and the problems he discovered. Goettl will be my go to company if I need quality work done with a professional friendly attitude.
Derrek came over for a scheduled seasonal inspection; we bought the house in 2020 and never had the A/C checked out. After attempting to use a local home-grown Texas company whom never showed up, my wife decided to call Goettl. Derrek was amazingly professional and incredibly knowledgable. I had taken a basic physics class in high school and do understand a small amount about refidgeration, as well as a small amount about power consumption/basic electronics.Derrek was able to confirm my suspicions that one of the previous owners installed an oversized system, and then proceeded to explain how they made it work by having a sightly higher high-side pressure to achieve the desidred low-side performance, as well as the negative impacts of this configuration, complete with pictures of the black stuff in our ventilation as a result of the excess condensation. Derrek also informed us that the return was too small for an R410a system, where it would be passable for the original R22 system that would have came with the house.Derrek noticed a drip bucket was filling and identified the plubing for the condensation runoff, noting that the drip bucket should not be filling, indicating that the primary drip line was clogged, he cleared that issue.Finally, Derrek consulted us on the installation of a new system, giving us information we could use to weigh our options.it is very likely we will use Goettl again, and request Derrek specifically, and very likely we will use Goettl to install a new, appropriately sized indoor and outdoor system.Derrek performed too much work to list in a google review, but siffice it to say, we are extremely impressed with the quality of service and professionalism.
Set appt. They were to arrive between 11-1pm. 11:30 received a text letting me know the tech was still at previous appt but would call/ text when on their way. At 1 pm when I had no received any notification, I called. Person said they would check with dispatch. 2 pm no response. I called again. The lady blamed the call center. She said she would do what she could. Finally at 3 pm tech texted me and showed up at 3:15. Same ole treatment from just another service provider. The tech they sent was great. Was not his fault. Not sure I can trust them with my issues when they cannot even honor an appointment.

Requested a quote for a new AC system, set up an appointment time and got stood up. Then every time I tried to reschedule they said they would call me back and never got back in contact. Guess they aren't interested in making $$$. It would be hard to justify hiring a company for a big job like this when they can't seem to communicate amongst themselves or their clients.
Dayton has some of the best service I’ve seen from Austin HVAC companies. Their front office is friendly and available, and they helped me set up a next-day appointment. Josh - our tech - is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I was unfamiliar with the HVAC system in a new house, and he walked me through the entire system and gave me a ton of useful information that would help me perform some routine maintenance myself. We spent almost two hours in a crawl space going through the air handler and furnace, diagnosing and remedying some mold issues that would have created major problems down the line.Josh made sure I understood my system so that I could do most of the routine maintenance myself, and he definitely didn’t try to upsell. While I usually forgo service agreements because I don’t feel like they add much value, I specifically asked for one after the service. These guys are amazing!

Purchased a new HVAC system 3yrs ago from Dayton when they were still under the ownership of Coy. Called this morning as soon as they opened to report our AC is leaking in our son's bedroom, soaking the carpet, and entering the walls. They scheduled an appt but then cancelled and said they can't be out till tomorrow and if we wanted faster service, we can choose another authorized dealer. Is this how Goettl is going to honor their legacy clients' warranties? If this is how they treat current clients in desperate need of help, how will their normal service be? Whenever a company changes hands, there are always questions regarding how they are going to stand behind the past owner's book of business. Unfortunately, this isn't looking very good.
Even when I have Club Sadie, which is supposed to provide you the “advantage” when it comes to scheduling and prioritization, my appointment was rebooked 2x and the then they came half day late when they couldn’t reschedule it anymore. Not worth it, stay away from this business

Let me start off by saying that the technician was great, knowledgeable, and professional. The service he provided was perfect.Now, that being said, let's get into the review:Goettl AC & Plumbing came out to give me a multi-point inspection. As is typical for an HVAC company, the technician did his inspection and then had a sales manager call me to discuss all of the repairs required and how to proceed forward. Here we go.I was quoted almost $4,500 for duct cleaning, topping off two units with refrigerant (which were only slightly low), taping off two sections of duct work, and cleaning out the drain line.You must be joking.I asked the sales rep to break down the prices individually for me and was told that the work would take 3-4 hours. I'm sorry... but I must be in the wrong business when I could clearly start working for an HVAC company and make over $1,000/hr.The sales rep only slightly broke down the individual prices when I asked him to. He then stopped breaking down prices when I pointed out that he was adding about $3000 to his breakdown (and he was unable to tell me where that money was going). When I pointed this out to the rep on the phone he began to get argumentative.I also had two pieces of ducting over the drain pans (the plenums) that required being re-taped. I was told $759 for this. Good-God-Almighty they are charging $759 for 30 minutes of work . This weekend you can find me at Home Depot getting the supplies to do this for <$40.When all was said-and-done I agreed to pay $80 to clear out the drain lines. I recommend to everybody to get multiple quotes. Please don't be taken for a ride by an HVAC company - to include this one.
What can I say apart from AWESOME!!! Wife, 8 month baby and I were in a huge predicament, AC packed up in the middle of what seems the hottest summer ever! Dayton and in particular Adam Medel (installation manager) to the rescue.. came over and thoroughly assessed the situation and really understood the importance and severity of our issue.We had a 17 year old unit, only just moved into the house 4 weeks prior, Adam came up with a bunch of great affordable options that really tailored to our needs. He arranged for his team to come out on a Saturday for the install.Andrew and Gustavo showed up on that Saturday with a really friendly and positive attitude (extra kudos points as who is happy to work on a Saturday?). Took all the neccessary precautions as far as Covid and were very considerate of our situation.The service they provided was impeccable and by 3pm our new AC unit was up and running! They did such a beautiful job and you can just tell they take great pride in there work. Loved it even more that Adam stopped by towards the end of the install to help the guys out and make sure that everything went to plan!Seriously though I am so impressed with there service from start to finish, they really delivered a 5 star service and I would highly recommend them!

I wanted to like this company - I really did. Honestly, it seems like they make an effort, but there is some major disorganization going on here that ends up being the customers problem. I gave them a try after they took over Dayton (my previous AC company). I agreed to have them remediate some mold that was in my air handler. The work they did was fine, but the scheduling was a nightmare. They never called to set up a time to do this, and instead just showed up at my house. It was not a good time for us to have a crew in our house, and we explained that we needed a heads up. They said they would call. They showed up unannounced AGAIN 2 days later. I almost couldn’t believe it.Eventually, they actually called me to set up an appointment to get it done, and they seemed to do a good job.Mistakes happen, I get it. Buuuut… Fast forward 3 weeks later and I needed them to come back and take a look at one of my units that they put leak stopper in as a last resort. I scheduled an appointment online, got a confirmation for Monday, arrival between 1-5. Monday rolls around and NO CALL / NO SHOW. Frustrating, as I made arrangements to be home from work and changed my schedule around to accommodate the appointment. I called the 512 area code number listed on my appointment confirmation and the lady told me that nobody showed up because they don’t service mini splits, without even so much as an apology. That’s fine if they have decided to not service mini splits, but the tech just serviced my mini split 3 weeks ago, and if there’s been a change, I should have been notified. A simple email would have sufficed. Apparently the manager is supposed to call me back. Not holding my breath. I’m a bit bummed that these people now hold the warranty contract on my AC that was installed by Dayton.

Friendly people but prepare to get ripped off. Charged me $339 to replace a $10 capacitor which took about 15 minutes total.

My hot water heater quit working. I called Dayton Services and was impressed from the very first call. The call taker was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She quickly and efficiently scheduled a plumbing technician to come to my house the same day.The first technician, Ricky, arrived on time and was very courteous, professional and obviously knew his job well. He made a good call in recommending replacing my 13 year old unit, but gave the option of fixing the old unit as well.The call center called me almost immediately to set up an appointment to replace my hot water heater. Again, she was super friendly and accommodating.The second technician, Chris arrived on time and was just as knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Both technicians followed Covid-19 safety guidelines to a tee. Chris did an awesome job installing the new unit and did it in a very short amount of time.I highly recommend Dayton Services. All of their employees are a pleasure to work with, not only for their knowledge and professionalism, but their friendliness.The price was good too.

We decided to get a new HVAC system, and decided to give our business to Dayton Service. We are very glad we did!We had our initial consultation and estimate from Brian, and he was able to answer our follow up questions quickly.Andrew arrived first and was able to get started on the extraction of the old equipment while Brad came with the rest of the new system. They exceeded our expectations by being on time and very professional.Our new Daikin Fit a/c and heating system are working great! The foot print of the new condenser out side is half the size of the old and it works more efficiently already.When I called to thank the office, John, was very friendly and remembered speaking to my husband earlier in the day.We are very pleased with the service we received!
To my surprise these men were the most PROFESSIONAL ,DETAILED people I ever hired.Kuddos to you two. If this is whom the owner hired I can only imagine the remaining personnel.I interacted with them towards beginning for a short time at backyard. At that time I told them two I was VERY IMPRESSED!And told them why! From what my wife told me last summer with last guy because I was at work. With a two year old new home. He spoke to me attempting to sell me over phone. With no information on my unit.These two guys from Goettl did the exact opposite! Went straight to their detailed work.With information and a small problem I believed in his report. I can not say enough good things about Dayton Services. I got home Friday after work and my home felt like a sauna! I couldn’t believe my mother who was watching my daughter hadn’t called me to complain about how hot my home was. The thermostat was set to 83 but it would not cool at all. The indoor temperature was ready 92; yikes! My indoor unit was running but not the outside one. I called Dayton Services at 5:30 and they had Paul at my home by 6:30. I explained the situation and walked him to the unit. He started running tests and looking at components. It’s a 13 year old unit original to the home we bought last June. He starts to show me all the burnt up and melted components. Yikes!!! He tried putting new parts on but my compressor was shot! I began to panic! It’s a holiday weekend and I have a child and pets in the home. He recommend some units to me for replacement. He was very helpful and gave the information I needed to make a decision. Dayton Services installed my unit next day (today)!!! Jared was fantastic! He quickly had the old unit out and the new unit in its place and Al had it hooked up and cooling in no time at all! They were all so professional, kind, and nicely dressed. They even wore shoe cover booties in my home! I definitely recommend Dayton Services for any HVAC work!

Josh was prompt and friendly. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He also made some recommendations that didn't cost a fortune but will significantly add to the longevity of the AC unit. Most importantly, he took the time to explain why he was doing what he was doing - and he did it in a way that was helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend Josh and Dayton Services!
Worse service ever! 100 degrees temperatures and they took a week to come to our home. When they came, my 2nd unit also stopped working. I spoke with their service manager , Aaron who was very condescending and unprofessional. In the end they were not able to explained the issues my 10k a/c unit had. Stay away from this one if you can.

Just good, honest help with all my HVAC needs.--- Update as of 4/7 ---Today Goettl completed our annual Sadie Membership benefit inspection for Air Conditioning. Specifically Bo who I want to add has been the most detailed, kind and professional of all Goettle employees that have come before. And the bar was already pretty high.With our almost decade old Air Conditioner and Heater we have had a number of parts and enhancements put into place as a result of these regular visits. I'm confident that participation in the Sadie Program has ensured maximum life for our units and has prepared us to weather the days that stress AC and heating the most.
I chose Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing to fix my ac because of all the positive reviews on Nextdoor. Jared arrived on time and was warm and professional. I was not expecting to hear that I needed a new system. To be honest, after seeing the pictures that Jared took, I knew that I did. It was exciting to hear what they were going to do, especially replacing all the duct work in the attic. I had gone up much earlier and knew it wasn’t looking good up there. I just didn’t know prices were that high now. Even though I knew they would do a great job, plus having the ac and heat pump made at their plant outside Houston in the USA were so tempting, I absolutely had to look at what else is available. If I had to be picky, I didn’t like the sales pitch from the person on the other end of the line. He was a bit too relentless in his efforts to get me to commit, but I truly understand why. So on Monday, I plan on calling around and getting other company’s specs and prices. I still may circle back to Goettl, but at this very moment, I’m not sure. I just need addition information.

We called Dayton Services for a free second opinion after another company quoted us over $300 to replace a part. Ricky M. came out that same day, checked the part & told us it was working correctly. He found/fixed the real issue, and also fixed the wiring from the previous company's job. Ricky was extremely knowledgeable in explaining the issue, what to look out for next time, and how to better maintenance our system in the future.
Our AC unit went out overnight, and Dayton came out to fix it the next day. They arrived when they said they would, and the technician called to let us know when he was on his way. Brandon fixed our unit and gave me some tips on maintenance before he left. I highly recommend Dayton Services.

We had Dayton install two new units for us about 4 years ago. When we have issues, they have generally been great about getting someone out to service us with in a day or two and the office staff is friendly. This summer, the unit that cools our bedrooms has been having ongoing problems. After a few service calls, they sent Josh to investigate. We found him to be incredibly thorough and he seemed to be genuinely concerned with resolving our issue. Josh was also interested in the ongoing improvement of our air quality and energy efficiency. He gave us multiple options for improving our system and took time to explain everything to me carefully.

First of all I never write reviews so it’s saying quite a bit that I am. I was having problems with my heater and with the cold weather coming I wanted to get it checked out. I am also 8 months pregnant so I really needed to get it taken care of before my baby comes this winter.I called Dayton and they had someone come out the next day. Josh (the tech) was great! He explained everything in great detail what needed to be done. Unfortunately, because of the lack of maintenance done the previous owners I had to have my entire HVAC system replaced. But, because Dayton has their own warehouse they were able to come out with a new unit and install everything the same day. Bobby (the tech who installed the unit) was amazing as well! After the install he checked everything and cleaned up the whole are.I will be a lifelong customer of Dayton for all my ac and heating needs.
Can’t express how helpful Chris and Alex were. They had all the tools to fully diagnose my system and were very knowledgeable about my system. They actually went the extra mile to accommodate my situation with the work going on in my house, they offered to come back once the work was done and clean my system again free of charge. That in my book is going the extra mile. Thanks for the prompt service, taking care of my unit, and not trying to sell me anything I didn’t need.

Josh Turner has been our Tech from Dayton during both installs of our AC/Heating systems (upstairs and downstairs). He is great! Not only have we gotten timely and personable service, but Josh will take the time to explain how an AC or heating unit should operate. That way, I could understand how our old system had run its course.
Very pleased with the company. AC broke during hurricane Harvey and they still were able to send a tech out the same day. William got here early and even called to coordinate that with me. He found the problem right away and drove to Austin for the parts, came back and fixed it before the rain started back up. He walked me through all the price options of fixing vs replacing but wasn't trying to sell me anything. I'd definitely recommend Dayton to friends and I'll use them for my PMCS from now on.

Called to schedule appointment but was told because they didnt install my mini split system they wont service it. Thats just strange. Its an AC system. I thought I finally found a good honest company until I was charged an extortionate amount for an A/C tune up , they came bearing gifts ( A flash light and stuffed animal ) and that was the first red flag because nothing is free in this country , they then performed exactly the same job as the company previous and had the Gaul to charge me almost $600 , double what I was previous charged . This company is simply a rip off and they will put a saddle on your back and ride you , I will never ever use them again , despicable price gouging , I feel sorry for their technicians because they are trained to be pushy salesmen , I will be going back to my previous honest small family Austin business , Goettl are too big for their boots ! Shame on you .

Dayton was prompt in responding same day I requested emergency services. Very professional diagnosis by technician wearing foot coverings indoors and face mask. Found leak in condenser coil without a time consuming and expensive pressure test. Found a new replacement coil and replaced it the following day. I recommend the warranty as I paid only for the refrigerant....they covered parts and labor which could have been an additional $3000.
Josh Turner came out to our home in a hurry to help solve our malfunctioning a/c unit. What a guy! Not only was our unit fixed in 20 minutes on a 102 degree day but Josh was very enjoyable to visit with. I would highly recommend Josh and Dayton Services

They broke our pipes when cleaning out our pipe to install new heater. When installing the heating system they damaged the bottom where you put in the filter so it’s bent and super hard to replace the filter. We also waited till our old heater had almost died so there was some frozen water in our pipes. Which we warned Dayton about so they could vacuum it up before installing a new heater (pretty normal) and they didn’t. We now have ceiling damage on our first floor ceiling because they didn’t do it. The workers then blamed us and brushed us off when we complained. The unit is good (other than the damage making filter replacement an entire chore- have to buy certain brand of filters that are flexible and push/pull till it finally gets into place) but their service is absolutely terrible.

Dayton AC was very responsive and my initial service call and the subsequent repair were both done the day after I called to get the appointments. The techs for both calls were courteous and informative. My coil replacement was done quickly, cleanly and everything was back up and working within hours of their arrival.
After being totally BS'ed by another company, Mr. Dayton took his time with us, and didn't pressure us after the initial meeting. He was patient with all our questions and understood that this was a big purchase for a house that we have owned for less than 6 months. I specifically wanted a Daikin, and he came back with a great deal. His installers were done in less than the time window stated, and they did a great job, always asking me how I wanted something done specifically, etc. Great job, Ryan, Andrew and Mack!
Dayton was able to get someone out on the day we called, and diagnosed our AC problem quickly. Both the office staff and the tech were prompt, efficient and handled everything very professionally. Glad we called!

My A/C stopped working in the Texas heat. Luckily, I was a member of their maintenance program which is very reasonably priced! Tech stopped by first thing the next morning. Turned out my outside A/C circuit breaker had tripped presumably due to age or overheating. Tech didn’t charge me (plan benefit) and recommended I have an electrician inspect and replace the breaker to avoid a repeat. 5-star service ?

As with most A/C problems they happen without warning and you need it fixed right away. Dayton A/C came out the same day I called for a quote and had the crew there the next day installing a new unit. The owner came across as extremely knowledgeable and the two crew members were wonderful and skilled. Eric, the lead crewman, didn't stop at anything to get the unit in and working properly. I was very impressed with their service.

Well, at least the unit didn’t go out when it was over 100 outside. Thanks to the Dayton Services for getting us up to date on our system. Crew showed up early this morning and working very professionally and like a tag team getting the system changed out. The old one was 15 years old. When they left, they cleaned up nicely and explained everything to me.I have used them for their service work before, and now have used for a complete change out. Highly recommend!*******************Update: After 5 months of use, my electric bill has gone down by $40-$50 per month. The new unit from Dayton and them programming my new thermostat.

Dayton installed a complete central air system for me in April of 2010. They were extremely careful with the installation of all ductwork and equipment in my 85+ year old home. Since the installation they have been very responsive and provided exceptional service every time I've reached out to them. Hi all,Just had Josh come over to do my yearly inspection. Dude was super cool, super quick, let me know everything he was doing and why, and after talking for a bit, I found out he’s a really cool dude outside of his job too. 10/10 experience, would recommend Josh and Dayton to anyone. Guy should get a raise if he’s not already set for one!!!!

Coy and his crew were very professional. From the home inspection/estimates to the end of our new AC installation, they kept in constant contact and were courteous the entire time. Coy responded to all my emails and the installation crew were extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. I have no doubt I'll continue to get top notch customer service from these guys; plus they'll locally owned and have been around for a long time. I highly recommended Dayton AC & Heating!

Great service for a long time, servicing my home on a regular basis and provided the correct time to replace our system. The whole process took 20 minute to get approved and set a schedule for two days later to install. Installation took 3-4 hours ,the team Ryan, Mack & Larry knocked it out and now my wife is having questions as the system is working so well and so quiet that she thinks its not on until she has to get a sweater. If you are looking for front line equipment , service and a honest company call Dayton , you will post like this too!

We had our system replaced by Dayton today. Jacob Gonzalez worked all day and was extremely diligent in checking and rechecking his work to make sure it was perfect. On top of his work ethic, he was so polite and kind. What a positive experience this was. I highly recommend this company.
Dayton/Goettl Air Conditioning removed my old AC and installed a new one they recommended. 2 days AFTER they finished the install they presented me with the attached Warranty paperwork. See #4 that THREATENS THEIR CUSTOMERS to void the warranty if our company encounters any type of loss from you or your actions. This includes a negative online reviewMy understanding is that this is not actionable #1 because they presented it AFTER the work was finished and #2 because they have to prove that your actions caused them to lose business.That said I WOULD NEVER WANT TO PAY A COMPANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS (or really any amount) TO DO WORK FOR ME THAT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!!Believe me they need that statement with the horrendous work they did on my house!!!! If their customers actually wrote honest reviews they would be out of business.Not only did they do horrendous work they NEVER bothered to respond to any of the times I reached out to them about the issues so they never honored the warranty anyways!!!I cannot express the level of frustration, and disappointment first from seeing this warranty clause and then from their lack of customer care or even knowledgeable staff.

I had my air ducts cleaned in Lakeway in March of 2019. I started a renovation in November of 2019. I had them look up in air vents because I saw mold coming out. Sure enough the air vents that were “supposedly” cleaned in March were full of mold. OLD mold that could not have happened in that short period of time. I contacted Dayton to rectify. They sent a manager out and he view them himself. He said he would talk to his boss and I never heard back. Since then, I called again just after Christmas and still no phone calls returned. Guess they didn’t care to fix it or the fact that my family of 5 was breathing in the toxic air blowing from those vents. They got me for over $1500! DO NOT USE this company
We have been using Dayton Services for over 15 years. Coy Dayton only uses the best technicians. They are always prompt and very honest. We recently had a new a/c unit installed. They were very professional. Calvin and Ryan were very professional and explained everything they were doing. We also had a propane gas hook up and again, very good service. I highly recommend this company.

This is my third time using Dayton and I’ve decided that they’re gonna get all of my business from now on. Ricky was here to do a long overdue preventative maintenance check on my a/c, and without any heavy sales pressure he gave me some good advice on replacing my much older system (which I now plan to do with Dayton in the fall). During our talk I took his advice and decided to replace my 14 year-old water heater. He returned today right on time and had the water heater installed in no time. Based on my experiences, Dayton deserves all of its very positive reviews, and Ricky’s a very friendly, knowledgeable representative of their company. Even my dog liked him!???

Chris Parenteau, the Technician who performed the water softener replacement/installation did an EXCELLENT job for us. He was very polite and professional and we are extremely pleased with his expertise and quality workmanship. We would highly recomment Chris and Dayton Services to any of our family and friends who need a water heater replaced or serviced.
Dayton Services has great customer service, their staff is very friendly. I had a minor discrepancy with the pricing and punctuation of which was quickly addressed by management. The technician that was dispatch for my residence was knowledgeable and highly skilled.I would have issued 5 stars, however, pricing needs to be outlined and agreed upon before the start of a service. Particularly, I believe a written or emailed estimate on all jobs small or large before starting any work would prevent this from being an issue in the future.
Dayton's initial visit & install was great! The price was good, they showed up on time & went to work. Eric and Ryan were the best install crew you could ask for. Neat, stayed on task, got it done and explained what they were doing. They worked hard. I love the new equipment, it's so quiet! I rate my experience first class! Terry Wyatt
Thought I was goIng to need a new unit but within 2 seconds of opening my unit Josh saw the capacitor had blown. He replaced it and the unit was back to normal. Called at 10am and was getting cold air at 11:30. Can’t recommend Dayton and Josh enough.
William came the day we called and found our compressor for our heat pump had expired. William was very courteous and wasted no time in finding the problem. Jacob G. came the next day, installed the new compressor, and was also very courteous and efficient. This was not our first time to use Dayton and we will certainly use them again! Both men were very professional and knowledgeable. The office also did a follow-up call to see if we were pleased with the work! It is great to do business with this company!

Tech didn’t seem to be that knowledgeable with system that they installed a year earlier ( DaikenInverter HVAC ) didn’t even check smart thermostat.He did clean outside condenser and took photos.Seem to be nice enough person .

In August of 2019 our air conditioning went out. The parts were under warranty, but they charged us outrageous labor charges. They were late for appointments and one day they didn’t show up at all. In late May of 2020 our air conditioning went out again. They said it was the same two boards they replaced in 2019. I wasted a week waiting for them to get the parts in. When I would ask them where the parts were they would tell they were on their way and would be here tomorrow . This went on for a week. They finally got the parts and installed them, and had the same outrageous labor cost. One hour after the technician left the AC went out again, he came back again and fixed it. Then in June the same issue, the tech fixed but didn’t seem to know what he fixed. Now it’s June 3rd and the AC is out again. Worst service ever.

Jackson fixed an elusive problem that other companies could not figure out.
My AC stopped working on the labor day long weekend. Fortunately, Goettl was able to send a tech swiftly. Walker came in right on time and took only 10mins to repair my ac.
Tony came out and found the problem and fixed it in minutes! I've called them twice and every time they have came out the same day. Plus they always tell you if something is warranty.Jared came out this time and he’s another great tech. I don’t know how you find these great quality techs.

Dayton came by for a repair on an older unit, and was able to make a quick repair to bring it back to life! I was shocked that I didn't have to upgrade the unit right now, but was presented good options for when that time comes.

After being abandoned by American Home Shield, it felt really good to have such a well put together A/C company help us out. Our old unit was past the point of repair. From the beginning, I met with Josh who was honest and very professional. I got to speak to Coy, the owner, who was able to help me pick a system. I picked the Daikin for it's high tech efficiency and 12 year warranty. This was a large purchase, and I wanted to get it right. The installation crew was great at handling my very big task of removing the old unit and installing a completely new one. Patrick, Brad, Briant, Larry, and Andrew all worked really hard. They even found an electrical fire hazard from when the house was built, and I was able to take care of it while they were installing the new unit. They corrected some bad duct work, blew new insulation, and cleaned ducts as well. They installed units on a good friend's house, and did just as well for him. I can definitely say this is a quality outfit and would use them again.

We had some heating issues during the cold front and I called Dayton Services. They came out same day to diagnosis the problem. The tech William crawled into the attic and figured out that our wiring was bad as it burnt out our heating unit inside the furnace. The next day William came back replaced the unit in a timely manner. He also checked out our downstairs unit to make sure there wasn't any faulty wiring in there. Thank you William for making sure we had heat during the cold front.

Been dealing with a chronic AC issue for a while now on our brand new AC. These professionals diagnosed and fixed my issue very quickly. They have the technology and tools to do it right the first time. I won't be going anywhere else!
They came out for a HVAC inspection after the business office called and told me that my current HVAC company was going out of business because the owner was retiring. After they arrived I called the other company and they confirmed that Strand Brothers was NOT going out of business and wanted this company's number so they could contact them to find out why they told me such a lie... Either a big mix-up or some underhanded customer snaching going on...
Ok so I have given Dayton services 5 stars but Ricky gets 10!! He came back to fix a run to my sons room with a larger line and it’s the first time he’s actually had to get under covers!

My experience with Dayton was a 5* in every aspect of their service. I got 3-4 bids for my job and they came in the lowest. They responded very quickly to every email that I sent. They showed up right on time on the day of installation and completed the job without any issues and much faster that I thought. I had them replace 2 A/C units and a boiler and was very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Dayton Air Conditioning and Heating came highly recommended by my brother who has been using them for year.I called in the morning and they came the same day. The Tech went right to work and within the hour he had it up and running and the price was very reasonable.I would recommend Dayton Air to all my friends.

Called to get prices on installing a new AC unit. Got a quick appt but then they told me they were on their way and didn’t show up til 1 1/2 hours later. They checked everything out and said someone would call me for different price ranges to install a new AC unit. It’s been a week and a half and I have yet to hear from anyone. Starting to call other companies. I’m not without AC but I know mine is giving out and I thought I’d give them a try. Guess not.

I just had Dayton Services come out for the second time to fix my 16 year old air conditioner (different issue, not a repeat visit) the same day I called them, which is great since one night with on AC in July in Texas was enough for me... Instead of just looking at the problem itself (the fan quit working), David Sabo took the time to check our the entire system top to bottom to make sure he was not missing anything. He then presented me with detailed options for the repair and also replacement of the unit since it is old as well as upgrade recommendations such as surge protection, UV light, filter. I am very happy with their service and went ahead and purchased a new AC system, which they will install this week (they fixed the existing unit so it would cool until the new unit came in and was installed).
Just had our furnace & house heating system completely inspected for $49! Josh Turner was very friendly and courteous and so professional.
The office staff that made the appointment was also nice. Our new favorite services company!!!!

Edit to previous review. Below you will see my initial review for this company. OrIginally I gave them one star, only. Since I posted the review, one of the owners called me, apologized for the experience and for the behavior of some of the other staff, and sent me a check to cover the cost of the ladder. I feel much better after speaking to her. I would just say, if you do decide to use them and experience a problem, reach out directly to Jessica. AVOID COY if at all possible.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Terrible experience. They installed a new furnace and over our first freeze of the year--the heat would not come on. The freeze was well over before the furnace was fixed. Also, their technician broke my attic ladder and the company refused to pay for a new one. They did, after I withheld 1/3 of the payment, compromise and agree to install the new ladder I was forced to purchase. When their carpenter came to install the new ladder, he showed me the old one, and said it was in very good shape UNTIL SOMEONE DROPPED SOMETHING HEAVY ON IT! He said that there was no way normal wear and tear caused that kind of break. He took pictures and said he would tell the boss. When I emailed the owner, and asked for compensation for the ladder I purchased ($247), he sent a very rude and unprofessional email saying no way he would pay for the ladder, and that he had fired the carpenter for running his mouth and that he dont know what he is talking about. There was also other dishonesty involved that would take too long to describe. Suffice it to say, I feel horrible for the carpenter who got fired. He was just being honest and doing his job. I don't think anyone should trust this company.

Thanks William for your help in setting us up with a portable ac unit while our central air was waiting for parts to fix it. Virile was here this morning and diagnosed the problem, however, the unit stopped working before the parts could be obtained. We appreciate all that Dayton is doing to help us out.
Josh was extremely helpful and patient. He made sure to explain what he was testing a possible reasons for the issues we were having with our AC. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Tony stopped by this Sunday afternoon to fix a problem with our AC Unit's condensation drainage. He clearly explained to me what was wrong and then quickly solved the problem. After finishing his work, he took the time to review everything with me and made sure I didn't have any other questions. Overall great experience.
Received an inspection and quote for HVAC replacement. Really appreciated how thorough they were checking my existing situation in order to provide an accurate quote.

It is refreshing to see a service company have their act together like Dayton. They have obviously spent proactive time setting up systems to make sure that their business runs smoothly. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He put on shoe covers, which was a minor detail but much appreciated since it had been raining and we don't wear shoes in our house.I can't recommend Dayton more highly. Our AC went out in the July crazy heat. Josh was here within 2 hours of the call even in traffic and had the unit fixed in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend!
The technician we had, Tony Pardo, was outstanding! We had never used this company before but I would highly recommend them again! They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and best of all, professional! Tony went above and beyond to explain things to us and help with whatever he could. It was more than we were expecting to pay, but I don't think they were trying to gouge us - just had a lesson on how expensive air conditioning units and the parts and supplies cost! Hopefully we won't have to use them in the near future but if we do, we will definitely call them again!

Have used Dayton Services several times now and they always do great work. William did some emergency AC work on a Saturday morning and got us up and running within just a couple of hours. Ricky has done several plumbing projects for us and always goes above and beyond.
It look me a few days to drop this review in because I prefer more detailed reviews. I have had these guys come out and install a unit a few years ago. They also have provided all the service for the last few years. They have always been able to make same day appointments for emergency repairs and quick service for normal maintenance. Like all companies they present upsell options but what stands them apart is they are not pushy. You do not feel like it is a must make now decision. Dave (hope I got that right) made sure to take his time and troubleshoot a poor cooling issue. When he left everything was working great and I was able to say with confidence the current issue was resolved. Highly recommend.
Josh just saved me 3000 dollars! A larger competitor, you see therir trucks all over town, quoted me $3000 on a job Josh completed for $600. He gave me homeowner tips along the way. Super helpful.

Melissa answered the phone with a smile in her voice a little after 4 pm today. I was slightly panicked, but explained my AC wasn't doing its job. She got basic info and told me William was on his way. William was a pro as well. Took care of it in the 100 degree heat (when just standing still without bursting into flames is amazing, let alone working very hard in it) and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. In and out. We had an electrical fire behind the dryer. Luckily, my boyfriend was here and he turned the breaker off before the whole house caught fire. Dayton services did a great job fixing the damage in a timely manner. They ran a new wire on the outside of the house and they replaced the dryer cord. They did a great job!

Josh was very professional and practiced social distancing and utilized shoe covers while in the house. Unit checked good and was recommended for a Home Air Purifier for our zoned system. The four year old Daiken system is very reliable and super efficient especially with our zoned system. No need to cool the whole house when you only use certain areas. Highly recommended for savings on utility bills.
Tony provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable. Turns out you should replace your filter monthly REGARDLESS if the filter says its good for 3 months. WHO KNEW? Thanks Dayton Services for the help. I'm cool again!

I liked response time and service. My AC stopped working on a Saturday night. I called them Sunday morning they said a technician would be able to come by in a couple of hours time and he showed up around that time.The technician (Tony) did a good job locating and explaining what the problem was. In my case the capacitor had blown out. He quickly replaced it. The price was reasonable too.
Dayton AC did a great job of catering specifically to my requests. The flex work in the attic needed to be replaced. Most companies that came out gave me a much higher bid, involving a more complete overhaul. While those repairs would be helpful, they were not necessary, and right now my budget only has room for what is truly essential. Dayton was prompt, easy to work with, and willing to do exactly what I specified (Thanks, Brian!)

It's difficult to express the thanks and appreciation I have for this company and the owner, Coy Dayton. They were a God-send on a scorching hot Sunday in August 2018 when they were the only company (out of 4 that I called) that returned my call before 8am on Monday, when I had left a message that my a/c had stopped working. I also mentioned that I was concerned for my 82 year old mom who has difficulty dealing with the heat. Words are not enough to express my thanks to Mr. Dayton, Tony, Brad, and Brian (+2) that came to my rescue on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. My new unit was also installed the SAME day! Austin D. Gonzalez originally came to replace our shower/tub drain however after he reviewed what needed to be done he recommended we wait until bathroom remodel. The previous installation left insufficient access which made the repair 50/50 that it could be done. I agreed as long as it was not leaking we should leave well enough alone.I called them because I made an attempt myself to repair and what should have been an easy job looked like I better call in an expert plumber before I regret what I did. Austin confirmed my concern that the previous repair was done improperly and the chance of a proper fix was slim without tearing out the tub.So the day was not lost he did repair our sink stopper and treated the piping as it was filled with sludge. We recently purchase this place and the previous owner did not take care of the plumbing properly.Dayton came out on a Sunday and did not charge extra. This is a great company to utilize for your plumbing, electrical and their specialty HVAC.

We needed some quick-action related to a plumbing problem, and Austin D Gonzalez sprang into action and helped up out. Quick, efficient, and knowledgeable, Austin knew what he was doing, got to work, and took care of it. Brad and Ruben installed our new Daikin Seer 4 Ton HVAC system on 27 February 2019. They worked non-stop from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We love our HVAC system We set the new thermostat on Auto at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and have been enjoying the perfect temperature ever since then!
I just wanted to say thank you, Dayton Air Conditioning, for your integrity and prompt and professional service. From speaking with Jessica on the phone, to thanking Bobby Wagner for replacing the capacitor, was a total of about 45 minutes. I've never seen anything like it! Even my wife said, They're already here?? Hopefully I won't need any AC service for a while, but when I do, I definitely know who I'll be calling.
We have used Dayton Services a few times and every time it is a great experience. This time the A/C went out and Brandon came right away and fixed it. Very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

The price for clean out was a little high, but then I had to call about an issue with the thermostat a couple of days later and the woman who answered the phone told me what to check (batteries) and that was the problem. She was Awesome and I can't remember her name! Customer Service A+

This place is top notch. The technician Tony Pardo found a mistake that had been made by a different company and fixed it the very next day. He was very honest, professional, and friendly. I will only use Dayton for all future repairs.

Josh fixed the problem that caused our AC to stop running (burnt out electrical piece). Replacing this revealed another problem that would cost more to fix normally. Instead of just replacing the other part, he treated the job like he was working on his own home and tried to get the part to work without replacing it. Our AC is up and properly running again!
Water Heater Replacement - Chris came out and suggested to replace our Water Heater which was making all weird noise. Chris is awesome and and did listen to all my concerns and worked out a schedule around my time. On the day of installation Chris and Austin did a awesome job, cleaned the area and went beyond my expectation. Job well done!!

We had Tony come out and finish up a repair on one of our houses after part came in. There was a wiring issuing and he stuck with it until problem was solved. He then performed a summer maintenance check on two systems at our other house. Total professional and would welcome him to work on our AC units in the future.

Today we discovered a leak in our home and Austin D Gonzalez came out promptly to repair the shut off valve beneath our kitchen sink. He was very thorough in his repair and friendly. I appreciated that he also tightened up the faucet which was a bit wobbly. Great job!

Tony did a great job installing the unit on Labor Day which is a holiday, he was fast and efficient. Got the unit going which was great because the heat was to much to bare. Josh came by for an AC inspection on July 15, 2017. He did a check of the outside unit and the insulation. He cleaned up the outside unit and noticed the lack of insulation in the attic. He was very friendly and informative with his findings.
William did a great job. Came out for a same day appointment. Called at 4:50 and William arrived before 6. Great service and very knowledgeable.

Josh came out to provide an estimate on a room that was bait as cool As the other rooms in my house. He found out that almost all of my ducts throughout the house were closed off. He quickly opened each and I am thankful. My cooling costs should be much lower in the future . He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Came and checked out our AC. Gave me a full and detailed report of the condition of the unit and recommendations/options to improve the system. No pressure a d very helpful.

Tom was outstanding! He knew exactly what the issue was and went above and beyond to get it resolved! He didn’t have the part on his truck but was able to locate it and come back and fix the issue same day, so I wasn’t inconvenienced another day. Half of our San Marcos duplex lost AC. After calling the Service dept, William called back and by luck of location, was able to quickly visit the location. Fortunately an easy fix to a fuse issue, but William took the time to explain the functionality and options for the future. Losing AC in August is always stressful, but Dayton and William helped to end the day on a positive note.
