During landscaping work, the main water line to my home was broken leaving me with low water pressure in my home. Benjamin came out the same day to investigate and help resolve the problem. He diagnosed the problem as debris in the interior water lines (a complicated problem). He scheduled a follow up visit the next day, Saturday, and was able to successfully use high pressure backflow to clear the water lines. After this, he cleared individual interior clogged lines and filters and replaced cartridges as needed. Throughout the process, he stayed in communication with me, invited me to shadow him as he explained what he was seeing and the options for repair, and finally walked through the entire house with me afterward to confirm everything was to my satisfaction (it was - good as new). It's taken me four years since relocating to Austin, but I finally have a great plumber to add to my go to list in case of problems!

We had a very slow drain in our bath and decided to fix the issue ourselves, but our solution didn't work. The tool that we used got stuck in our drain and we couldn't remove it so it was stuck. Boo!We needed some professional assistance and we are very grateful that Roto-Rooter sent Andre Sr. to help us! He was patient and understanding and said this was a common issue that happens. He provided us with an estimate and explained to us the cost and even drew a rough sketch of how the pipes were connected and where the tool might be stuck. This explanation/estimate took about 10 minutes and it was time for us to make a decision whether to have Andre Sr. proceed with the fix or not. At that point my husband and I tried again to remove the tool from the drain and luckily it came out! It was a happy ending for us and saved us money!With that said, Andre Sr. provided us a clear explanation/estimate and had a great attitude! I called Fast plumbing to fix a clogged toilet. When the owner got to my house the toilet was flushing. I flushed the toilet and he checked the drain out front to verify water was coming through, he augered the toilet bowel, nothing seemed to be wrong. Fast plumbing charged me $218. 3 days later the toilet is clogged again, plunging it won't get it running. We were having the same problem. I called Fast plumbing to ask if there is a warranty.The owner said his work is not warranted. I asked if we take the toilet off if we can put the $218. Towards the labor he said we can work something out. I was an electrician for 15 years. I understand that a problem doesn't always occur when the technician shows up, I also understand you have to charge for your labor. I can't afford Fast plumbing.

I appreciate that they came out and did a thorough evaluation and discovered that the leak was my neighbors not mine. They are honest on their evaluations and what needs to be done.

Jaime Santana did an excellent job with broken water pipes repair at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, where I am the pastor. After the winter storm of February 2021, the water pipes of all of our buildings were damaged.
