Heads up if you don't have standard brands of equipment (what does that mean?!):
They showed up on time and are easy to reach, which is very much appreciated.

My issue was that a shower cartridge needed replaced; they said my shower faucet brand is not a standard brand (it's Pfister, which is very common, so I'm not sure why this is an issue!) , which meant they needed to get the part from a downtown warehouse as it wasn't on their truck.
My service was rated a Level 5 on their flat-rate pricing sheet because of that, and if I had a standard brand it would've been a Level 3, which was ~50% of the cost. I'm frustrated that I got charged nearly double which was mainly drive time; the actual diagnosis and repair was ~20 minutes out of the job; I'm in Broadripple, so not far from downtown or their offices which made that drive time very pricey. Quite frustrating.

Ron from Acme diagnosed a broken septic pipe that several other contractors from other companies failed to identify. He was knowledgable about the recommendations he gave for fixing and improving our septic system. He made sure the work was scheduled promptly. Ron and his colleague Ricky were very courteous during the project. The price paid was the price stated on the proposal given prior to commencing the project with no hidden costs. I will recommend Ron and Acme to others.

I've used Godby numerous times over the years and have always been pleased with their professional service. Most recently, the compressor failed on my heat pump, and despite their busy schedule, the staff went out of their way to make sure their on call technician spoke to me by phone that evening. Joe insisted on coming out the next day to see if there was any resolution during this weekend of severe temperatures. While the unit couldn't be salvaged, I was grateful for the quick response and great customer service from the entire team.

Joe was great, knew what he was doing and very professional. He educated me as to what the issues with my system we're and presented me options. One thing I value from repair services is honesty. I had previously had another company come out to do a tune up and the techs were extremely pushy and frustrating to deal with. Joe was fantastic.

Needed to replace hot and cold water facets in laundry room for washing machine. Plumber Dave did fantastic work...Had to do a bit of drywall work too....Extremely satisfiedHe helped me move and connect new washing machine....very grateful

Tony Chafin Jr was great in helping me understand what had happened to my Tankless Water Heater. He told me that it needed an annual flushing to clear out all of the chemicals that build up in the line. He also checked my other bathrooms plumbing, while he was waiting on the flushing to get finished, to make sure all looked good. I only gave 4 stars because of the time not being what they originally told me when I called in for the appointment.

I had been having drain problems with water backing up in my basement and had not had success with getting it resolved. I had purchased coverage on the sewer system and that company sent Gordon Plumbing today (Rudy, plumber extraordinaire :). He worked nearly all day to diagnose the problem and solve it, with many issues such as do exist in an old house. He even cleaned up afterward and took time to explain everything he did. I really appreciate Rudy and his level of service....thanks so much!

I am very pleased with Mr. Plumber. They came on time, communicated well, told me exactly what to expect and how much it would cost and did exactly that. All the technicians were very personable and professional. I really like that they worked in teams. Also Mr. Plumber has been very reasonable priced so far. Which is important to a single Mom on a tight budget. I will definitely be calling them again for any issues.

Mike with Service 1 Plumbing is the most honest non-salesy plumber I have met in a long time. I was having an issue with water in my basement. I had self diagnosed the problem as an issue with my sump pump. When I called and explained I had water in my basement the office fit me into the schedule that day (I was shocked!) When Mike arrived he was not only punctual he was professional in the way that he spoke with me, appeared and the cared enough to cover his boots (shocked again!) As he began to look into the problem he noticed that water in my basement wasn't coming from an issue with my sump pump but a busted outside spigot. I was shocked but thankful. I have had many plumbers out to my house over the years that would have just come in sold me a sump pump and never looked far enough to find the true cause. Although I know the pump replacement would have been a better sale for Mike that day, he took pride in his work and reputation and did the right thing for me, the customer. I appreciate that honesty and will continue to use Mike for anything in the future.
