The service was great and very fast.

First and foremost this company offers a discount if you give them a good review. They also fail to tell you that them and a group of locksmiths use a advertising service .Unaware i had contacted a advertising company while looking around for a decent price i was quoted a price nearly 3 times lower than what the tech told me. When they contacted me to confirm my address. I decided ro cancel the tech before they were dispatched. Mind you i found discount locksmith through my own research .i decided to call back discount locksmith after i was put on hold for nearly 7 minutes i was told that ethicly they can not do it because i had contacted a advertising agency and they would be stealing me from somebody else. Even after explaining what happened she still persisted that it would be ethicly wrong to steal me last i checked me and the company never went into any sort of contract so how i became their customer made no sence. I ethicly believe you should warn cutomers that you use a advertising service and if they decide not to use the other companies you are associated with that you will no longer be able to ethicly use them you deserve no stars.

Todd was great I walked up on to him this morning as he was keying a car and asked if he could help , I asked if he could copy my ATV key and he did it without a problem... Great service and great guy. Thanks again Todd and I will continue to use your services..

Came out in 15mins and it took less then 5mins to unlock my car.

I don't like to post negative reviews of businesses unless they're warranted. But, I feel like this business and the public should understand that this was not the right way to handle this situation.

I needed an emailed written estimate for a warranty repair to resolve an issue with a safe. I spoke with the answering service for this company, who put me in touch with one of their staff members. While I did miss their initial call-back, I did call them back to speak with them, and gave them the appropriate information so they could provide the estimate. Due to the holiday weekend, I gave them a few days to work through it.

After not hearing from them as of today (7/7), I reached out to them and the answering service told me that I had been contacted numerous times with no call-back to obtain the information for the estimate...which was not quite true. The answering service put me in touch with one of the company's techs so I could provide him the information for the estimate. The tech said I had to call the company's office so they could provide the estimate. He was super-nice about it, but just couldn't help me with it. When I called the office phone number, the same answering service answered. The person who answered seemed upset that I had called again. I kindly said that the tech asked me to call the office, and I asked if I could simply re-provide the information for the estimate, and that it wasn't a problem if there was a delay in getting it to me.

The response was approximately, it's going to be too much trouble to get you an estimate via email, as we'll have to contact the manager, and such and such other tasks will have to be done.

My response was one of surprise but I tried to not be upset, you cannot provide me an estimate via email? Thinking to myself, this is 2022...not 2005 or even 2010.

After being told no again, I finally asked, so, you do not want my business? The person's response: I'm sorry, we're just going to be able to assist you with this.

I'm giving this business two stars, because they were not argumentative, and the person was probably just doing their job. However, and this is being pretty blunt...if you're a highly-rated business on Google and cannot provide an emailed copy of an estimate, I'm not quite sure how you're in business. It's too much effort to provide an emailed estimate? Really? As an owner of multiple customer-focused businesses in my life, I cannot fathom not being able to provide something as simple as this to a potential customer.

Maybe they were concerned they weren't going to be paid? I was the one who was going to be reimbursed by the safe manufacturer, and would be paying Discount Locksmith directly for their services. Anyways, I do not know the quality of their actual work, but they seem to not be able to provide electronic copies of estimates, which seems really strange to me.

I hope this information helps the business improve their customer service, and potential customers to make the right choice when choosing a locksmith.

After some roommates moved out I needed to change the locks on my home doors. I contacted picknick locksmith and spoke with Nick. He was very helpful and understanding of the situation and responded immediately. Within 10 minutes of him being here he had all the locks changed, gave me good advice about Security in general, and was a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend these guys if you need any locksmith work.

They went above and beyond reprogramming the keypad entry. They were also less expensive than the other. Thanks!!

Stay Away this company is a huge scam! they have no employees other than a call center. They use the lowest cost random people that can find and have no standard for who they send tools they must have etc. They sent random person that didn't even have a key copy machine or correct tools to our business and then broke a $500+ push bar. This is the mess they left, screws hanging out and all!
