Giving 5 starts as they ended a huge ordeal of a simple task of making copies of keys. I kept getting bad keys from home depot after 4 trips, so I tried these folks out. Metro Lock made the keys in a jiff and all of them perfect. I however need comment that the associate I spoke with was very reluctant to talk to me about the situation until I called back, said the keys worked, and I wanted to thank them. This is a sign that any customer questionscomplaints might also be reluctantly reviewed. I won't dock stars as they completed what they needed and it appeared they would honor refund requests if it was discussed.

I needed to have repair work done to my front door lock. The service person from Metro Lock came and didn't even try to fix the problem. Instead, he wanted to charge me at least $500.00 for a new handle, etc. Fortunately, I found another company who fixed the issue--saved me $400.

I have a personal combination sentry safe that I used for years
all of a sudden I couldn't get it open. After looking on line I found this company I call and explain to Ray my problem and he said bring it in. He had it open in just a few minutes it seem as though a weight was lifted off my shoulder. I asked him what is the cost for this and he said no charge? Ray was very professional and helpful I totally recommend this company to people who need their problem solved.

Called to schedule and they were here in about 30 minutes. Job was done in about 30 and works great. Called around to several places before I asked them to come out for free quote and there price was also reasonable, right in the middle of all the calls I made. Very happy customer. I called Metro Lock re having locks changed out for a client. The Technician arrived within the allotted time, the procedure was done quickly, my client was thrilled!!! I am keeping Metro Lock on my call lists and will recommend them anytime someone asks for a referral.

I went here after another locksmith wanted to key a car lock for almost 3 times the price of this place. The guy here has reasonable prices, and had 2 locks keyed within 20 minutes well under 50 dollars. Im going here for lock jobs from now on.

I had such a amazing experience. The key to my car snapped off and I was locked out. I called and since my car was a special case this man stayed and worked a new key and helped me for 3 hours. It was the nicest thing anyone has done to help me and the best service ever. Please go here because they understood that I work a grocery store job and wasn't over priced on it.

I had a pretty good experience with them. The only issue I had was that on the phone, they quoted to me that it would be $90 to change both locks I needed. When the person got there, he said that quote meant per side of the lock. I could only afford 2 sides so the outside of my door and gate were changed while I still use a different key for the inside of each. Other than that confusion/inconvenience, they were very professional, courteous, timely, and thorough. I would definitely recommend them.

Metro Lock did a good job replacing a old lock on an Arcadia door that needed a key from the outside. They were persistent on finding the outdated part and repaired it beautifully. I took off one star because I thought the communication could have been a bit better as I had to initiate calls for followup but they always responded when I did. As a property manager I will no doubt need key or lock services at some point in the future and I will call them again.

I locked my keys in my house, thought my husband had them and walked out with no keys. So I googled locksmith and saw this place gave them a call and came within 20 mins and opened my door quickly unfortunately he couldent pick it because we had kwikset safe lock and those are things you cant pick so he had to drill though them but none the less we got in. Even though we had to buy new locks he was very knowledgeable about what locks we had on our door and what to buy. Reasonable pricing and responded quickly great customer service very friendly!! If I lock myself out again I will be calling metro lock.

Unfortunately Metro lock was an hour and half late, I called and there had been an emergency (I understand, I just would have appreciated a phone call). The technician was not aware he was late, so there was poor communication on their part. Once the locksmith arrived however, everything went smoothly and was professional. They did an excellent job.

I had a great experience with Metro Lock & Safe. I had an employee leave late in the afternoon, and for security purposes, I needed the locks re-keyed. I did not expect it to be done same day, but the dispatcher sent somebody out that same afternoon to complete the job. The technician was extremely professional and did great work. Thank you!

My tenant called me about a lock issue and 20 minutes later a very nice man (Steve) was there to help. It wasn't a quick fix but he was thorough and included me in everything. Even went the extra mile and realigned my front door and repaired an extra lock while he was there. Huge help to me since I live out of state. My fiancé locked his keys in his car again and he didn’t have enough cash on him , I was able to call I got a very friendly rep and she was able to take my payment over the phone and get out to him fairly quickly. If your looking for quick and fast service , they are the people to call.

They came out fast and Ken was great. He had the lock done in like 15-20 mins and was nice enough to modify a part so that we would not have to wait to get a special order. Our company uses this company for a reason and I stand by their choice.

These folks installed a large safe for me recently. Very professional. These guys are real safe experts and were very cooperative to coincide with my delivery!

Each of our service vans contains a set of keys for trailers, etc. We trusted Metro Lock to replicate two full sets of keys for our newer vans. All of the keys are for different kinds of locks, which he was able to easily replicate. For the one key that presented a challenge, he was able to manually sand it to get it to work. Efficient, quick, and extremely valuable service so we can get back out on the road to fix our customer's ACs! THANKS METRO LOCK!

Not good at all. I called Metro and spoke with a very pleasant women Lori, i couldn't get my safe open and told her i was going away on Saturday and desperately needed my passport out of the safe,she said she could get some one out there same day to get it open, i asked her what the charge would be, she told me 150.00 i said great send him. I got a voice mail about an hour after i talked to her and she said she could not get someone out to my location, however, promises to have someone out the following day if that would be ok, I again explained the urgency of my situation and asked if she was sure ,she replied yes between 10 & 12, she was very nice and insured me that they would get it open and if they did not there would be no charge, i said ok. I was waiting that day it was around 11:00 and i got a call who identified himself as the manager of Metro and he told me that i was given the wrong information and now the charge was to be 400 dollars or they are not coming. No apology for the mis- information i was given, no 10, 20, or 30 % discount, no we will honor that rate ,nothing! The only thing this guy was, he was absolutely rude and no customer svc skills whatsoever, so ok i wasted 2 days now on a time sensitive matter because i called Metro, i told him that his customer svc skills needed some work and that i was going to write a very bad review. His reply was ok, i also told him since he was the manager i was going to share with the owner his treatment of my situation. I did this because I have been self employed with employees my whole life and if someone was possibly ruining my business i would very much like to be made aware. He said ok. I would not recommend this service and would not even trust a company that operates like this in my home.

Steve H. was who came out to me on Thanksgiving evening at 7pm. He arrived 10 minutes earlier than the 25 minutes he quoted over the phone and had my door unlocked in no time. This will be who I call from now on. Punctual, Polite and Outstanding service.

I am the General manager at Hooters Metro Center. we were very happy with the prompt servo e we got using Metro Lock & safe. when they arrived to fix our panic bar they even did a temporary fix until the part we needed was available.very professional and polite! would highly recommend and use again.

FAST, efficient and honest! Describes our locksmith guy, Eddie, from Metro lock services. We own a small pest & weed control business and had small crisis, with our keys locked in our truck. we called Metro and another company, we made a HUGE mistake by going with the cheaper quote of $44 .
The other guy showed up late, and tried to sell us that the quoted service was now $215??!! what a waste of time......

we called Eddie back and he was here in 15 minutes and we paid EXACTLY the price we were quoted, $80!

These guys are GREAT!! I normally don't write reviews, but I felt the need to write one for them. I highly recommend Metro Lock and Safe. I had been looking for a locksmith when my friend let me know about them. I ended up giving them a call right away, really happy I did. They provide quick, friendly service.

Metro Lock has always been efficient & customer service oriented! I have used Ken at my facility on several occasions and he always arrives with a smile, does a great job and doesn't waste any time! Wouldn't use anyone else!

It is sadly unfortunate that I have been brought to giving a review of a company that I had hoped would solve our problem. I work for a growing and prosperous laundromat chain. The lock we have on our front door is a timer lock, it opens the door automatically at 5:30am and locks at 11:00pm. It ceased to perform this duty after 2 years. So I called Metro and a gentleman named Warren was dispatched to handle the problem. To shorten this some, I believe the lock was to much for Warren. He told me no less than three times that if the lock doesn't get fixed we pay him nothing. Warren came and went 4 times due to his lack of knowledge of this lock. Finally he says it's all fixed but be sure to call him in the morning to let him know if it opened automatically as is its function. And i payed him. $175.00. It did not, I called him he said he would be back the next day. That was the last time I saw Warren. The last time I spoke with him he informed me he put one of Metro's locks on and sent ours back to the manufacturer. After a couple of months I went to their store and spoke with Mike. He is apparently the owner. He assured me he would look into it. I gave him a month and when I contacted him by phone he was rude and said many things that he should not have said. He wouldn't even consider the fact that his employee, Warren, had lied to both of us about the lock being sent to. Manufacturer. He ultimately said we got what we paid for, refusing to stand on the company's word that if not fixed there is no pay. He refused to return our money and to send someone who could repair it. I am very angry about this whole ordeal. I would not dare say they are totally inept but they are dishonest at heart .bYou, the public have been warned. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your lock troubles because these people have proven by practice that for them, a lie is better than the truth. P

Your technician was very helpful and thorough. He called 1/2 hour prior to his arrival and was on time. We have had nothing but great experiences with Metro Lock! Always recommend them. Thank you!

My wife called them to help her with her father's safe to get his will and other important documents. She had the combination and the keys' just needed help on figuring out which way to turn the dial that type of thing. He spent 20 minutes got it open and charged my grieving wife $150 to open a safe. Well technically $160 as he didn't have change. Pretty predatory in my opinion.

I recently had my locks changed at my office. It involved four doors with one key. Ken the technician was able to go out to his mobile office and create four cylinder locks that all used the same key. Wow, does that make it easier! I would highly recommend this company. They solved my problem fast because of there mobility.

Service tech tried quoting over $100s more then what was quoted by the company. When I called him on it, he refused to finish the work and left the house unlocked and unattended. The tech was extremely rude. Terrible customer service.

After wasting my time at the incompetent place right up the street @ 35th ave and Cactus, that refused to cut my key blanks, i found that this locksmith was at 35th ave and Cheryl. The gentleman at the counter was more then willing to help me. It took him, i kid you not, 3 minutes to cut the 5 key blanks i had. They worked perfectly in the car, no issues at all. The gentleman undercharged me, so a tip was in order for great service!!!!! I will continue to do business with Metro Lock $ Safe for as long as they are in business. The place up the road @35 ave and Cactus, will NEVER get my business as long as I'm alive, even if they are the last place on earth!!

Had them out to re-key our office and next day needed them to fix a sliding glass door lock at my residence. They were polite, responsive and friendly. Would recommend them and use them again.

We have been using Metro Locks for over 10 years. The Locksmith's are always friendly and patient. Jobs are completed in a timely manner. We will continue to use their services when needed. :o)

Edited review: I was unhappy with the services provided on my store front. I asked that the hardware be removed and that I receive a refund. Metro Lock & Safe honored my request without complaint.

Metro Lock was great for my rekey purposes! I called on a Monday evening and was able to schedule an appointment for Tueaday after 6, due to my work schedule - very accomodating. Steve H was who came out, and called to give me a time estimate which is very thoughtful. Steve was polite, informative, and worked efficiently. I would highly recommend.

Called, made an appointment on MY schedule for mobile guy to come to my car, duplicate my key and register it in my car memory. If it took 15 minutes I would be surprised. Great service, great attitude

He took the time to rekey a worn-out key he did more then any other locksmith would have done for just a worn out key.i highly recommend and very nice people . Don't waist your time going any where else .

I had a vending machine with lost keys. I brought my 2 useless locks to Metro & Terry sold me 2 replacement locks for $69 (which I thought was high, but they got me operational).
I mentioned I had a tubular lock without keys & I asked if he could pick it and/or cut me new keys. He said he could, for $45. I asked when they opened, but I was about an hour past that when I arrived. Terry & another guy were separately busy with something. I waited for Terry to finish what he was doing (he said he was on a webinar). In a few minutes he came to me and said he was ready to see it. My machine that had the tubular lock was in my pickup, in the parking lot.
Terry brought his special tubular pick out and attempted to pick, but after a few minutes said it could not be picked and had to be drilled. I asked how much that was, and he said $45, but he could not do it then because he was trying to get back to his webinar.
I said I could do that myself and thanked him for his time.
He told me some line about how the lock was 'high security', but I have yet to find out what a 'high security' tubular lock is. Or perhaps more importantly, what a 'low security' tubular lock is.
I don't believe they exist.
Since they partially got me where I needed, I'd say they are ok, but certainly nothing to brag to anyone I know.
So, I guess you should use them, if you have to.
First time I've ever used a locksmith, so I don't know how they compare.
This is my experience, take it for what its worth... ;-)

I needed a company on a short notice and picked Metro Lock & safe. Right from the start I was happy when a REAL person answered the phone, they were there quickly checked on what was needed to be done and cmpleted the task expertly and quickly. The service guy was knowledgeable and dida tremendous job. Need lock work call Metro.

They have excellent service at reasonable prices they have come out to my location to work on my safe I have also brought several things into them and they’re always accommodating and if they have to order something it’s there within a day or two There has never been anything they couldn’t get done for me I love dealing with local businesses That care about their customers

The operator was a very unprofessional and was literally talking back to me with a childish attitude. I hope that guy was okay with loosing a customer. And when I told him to tell his driver to not come anymore because of how bad I was disrespected, he said ok and seemed very happy that the locksmith didn't have to show up anymore. Worst service in my entire life.
