I know Ralph from the new BNI group I joined. When our main shower stopped draining well I reached out to Ralph at APES explained the issue & that the shower drain had been grouted in by sloppy previous contractors. He coached me on a zero-invasive way with an expensive Home Depot product that I could see if I could clear the drain myself. When that didn’t work Ralph sent Zack the Plumbing Manager over to help. Zack was able to check at a deeper level without popping the drain cover off & found it was tree roots clogging the pipes.
Although we aren’t going to dig into this project quite yet as we may be renovating that side of the house relatively soon, we really appreciated their expertise, precision & care. Great guys & great company! We will be calling them when we are ready to dig up & reposition those 2 bathrooms for sure. Thanks team! ?

My husband and I recently purchased a home and wanted our A/C unit inspected more thoroughly. Outstanding customer service when scheduling our appointment, great rates for first time customers and our technician, Dylan, was so knowledgeable and really explained the ins and outs of our system. I have used DDM for several years now and have been very pleased with the service and knowledgeable techs. Cody is the tech we use the most and he is always very reliable, professional and never leaves a mess. He is very respectful of our home and thorough in his service and explanation of what he is doing. You can tell he only recommends what he would do for his own home. I have had a few emergency calls, and the response has always been as fast as you could expect during an Arizona summer. Honest, educated, dependable and realistic would sum them up.

Our technician was Ray and he was fantastic. He was on time, and had a great attitude. It didn’t take him long to figure things out either! It was stressful living in a home that was 98 degrees but Ray was empathetic and made sure we were taken care of. I love that he communicated well and made sure I was comfortable with my service! Octavio was the technician who performed our HVAC system tune up. He showed on-time, was very professional, and very friendly. He communicated his tasks well and gave me a detailed report. Best value out there! Jesus was his supervisor, who I talked to about an additional issue with my system, and he was easy to work with and very friendly. I will use them again for sure.

I originally decided to not leave a review as it would be negative. Because Goettl could not repair my AC, I was to get a full refund (less the service fee). For 3 weeks, I have been told my refund has been processed. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Being lied to and taken advantage of has really upset me and I do not want others to have this happen.

3 weeks ago, I contacted Goettl as my AZ blower motor stopped working. I have a 4.5 year old unit. The operators were pleasant and was able to get me an appointment the next day which was on a Saturday. The tech showed up and determined it was the blower motor. He then proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with the unit and all that needs to be done. As a property manager of 20 years, managing thousands of units, I knew this was all a sales pitch and all that was needed was a motor (which is still under warranty by the manufacturer. I agreed to have them repair the blower motor to get me up and running.

Before collecting my payment, the major sales pitch started. I was told I should get just get a whole new unit and ductwork (again, AC and ductwork is all brand new 4.5 years ago) and they could get me on a monthly payment plan for a whopping $12,000.00!! He then said my unit was so dirty, it would have to be fully chemically cleaned should I decide to keep it. Again, as a property manager I know the importance of home maintenance and I have maintained and cleaned the coils on an annual basis. He took my credit card payment of nearly $1600 up front so they could order and install the motor once received.

I agreed again, to just have the motor put in as it was supposed to be warm and needed my AC running.

Monday, I received a call from someone from the office stating they would not be able to get my unit up and running until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER!! There was a shortage of variable speed motors, and they just could not do anything else- but again, they could fully replace the unit. The other option was for them to place a temporary blower fan in my unit for ANOTHER $1600! I said this was unacceptable and to refund my money less the service call, to which I agreed.

The next day, I contacted another AC Service Company (A&C Services by Able), a licensed, bonded, insured company with the owner having 30 plus years AC experience. Within less than 48 hours, they were able to retrieve the new motor (paid for under warranty, by the way), get to my house, and install. My unit was up and running with an OEM motor, covered by warranty, within 48 hours, all for $260!!

Goettl charged my $1600 and was telling me it would be 2 month until they could repair. But again, they could sell me an entire new unit!

I contacted Goettl 4 (four) times asking about my refund. For 3 weeks, I was told it was in process. As of date- I have no refund and was forced to place a dispute with my credit card company.

I had high hopes for Goettl but was sorely disappointed. Again, I was not going to leave a negative review although their pricing is out of line and certainly, they take advantage of people. Shame on you, Goettl. You need to do better!

Who'd like to bet now this review was written, I will get a call back regarding my refund!?

We had our A/C system installation completed today by AZ Perfect Comfort through Fred Russo and his team.

The team that came to do the install wore masks and put down coverings on the floors stairs and other areas they would be accessing in the house.

The installation was done as expected and they were very professional and vacuumed after they were done.

They took their time to test and ensure that the system was running and explain the setup and usage of the digital and WiFi enabled thermostat.

We are very happy with how everything was handled by Fred Russo and his team from start to finish and plan to highly recommend AZ Perfect Comfort to anyone who is considering the installation of a new A/C system.

My a/c stopped working and Lilcoln Air & Plumbing did an outstanding job from the time I called, until the end of the service. They were able to come to my house the day after I called them which was huge being that no a/c in Arizona is quite miserable. Jeff B was my technician and he was amazing! He did a great job of explaining what was going on, why it was happening, and the next steps he would take. He was very honest and upfront with me throughout the entire process, including informing me of the cost of his services BEFORE he did anything. There was a lot wrong with my a/c unit, but he was able to fix it and make it good as new! I am very pleased with my experience with both Lincoln Air & Plumbing and my technician, Jeff. Highly recommend!

Home buyers beware
I recently bought a home in Scottsdale. Howard Air provided and installed new Carrier Heat Pumps and Air Handlers with a 5/10 year warranty a few years before I bought the home. Howard Air will not honor any warranty work to anyone but the original purchaser unless you pay them several hundred dollars to transfer the warranty.
The original warranty contract/paperwork that does not reference any transfer fees or any such exclusions.

Very easy to work with technician was responsive and did what he said he would do. Final invoice was less than estimate. Scheduling technician was easy, all in all a great experience. Scott was first-rate in every way
