I would recommend you to anyone needing new A/C, your installation crew were amazing.

I’m writing about my experience with King Mechanical to save people from the expensive and frustrating mistake I made by hiring Frank Marquez and his company, King Mechanical, to install a new Trane AC unit at my home.

I paid King mechanical over +$5K cash to replace my AC unit. A contractor working outside heard the loud clattering noise the HVAC unit was making and commented that something was wrong with my brand new AC unit. The owner of King Mechanical, Frank Marquez, was called. Marquez said he would send someone to evaluate the banging noise in the new unit. One month later, King Mechanical had not sent a technician to my home or even contacted me about making an appointment. Multiple calls over multiple months with the same result. He would promise to evaluate the loud banging sound on my brand-new unit. Then he would not show up. By this time, I was upset. I had a faulty AC unit and was asking for a service call from the company that I paid a significant amount of money to install. King Mechanical would not even send a tech to check on the problem.

After 10 months of calling and texting without replies or responses from the owner of King Mechanical, I sent a certified letter. Only then was a repair tech sent out and he confirmed that the AC unit should not be making any noise as he heard. A month later, King Mechanical came out to “repair” my brand new AC unit.

A little over 4 months later I woke to a constant, loud banging sound while the unit was running. I went outside and recorded a video and sent it to the owner, Frank Marquez. Something had broken loose and was banging around inside the unit. This is in the middle of the Arizona summer with 115-degree heat. (see video)

Marquez’s response? “I’m booked out for 2 days. I can't drop everything for you”. What? In the text exchange, he repeated that he takes care of his customers and he stands behind his manufacturers.

Two days later at 2 am the unit completely exploded. I had no AC with a house full of kids. He stopped responding at all.

I reported him to the Contractors board. By the way, an inspection by the Contractors' Board takes 3 to 4 weeks. I obviously couldn't live with a broken AC unit in August in Phoenix that long. I had to pay a second HVAC company $2000 to repair the faulty AC unit installed and the substandard repair work performed by King Mechanical and Frank Marquez.

The Contractor Board inspector said he couldn't evaluate King Mechanical's work because of the emergency repair work. Frank then told me he wouldn't honor any warranty for the unit he installed. What a shock! I guess he felt more confident he wouldn't get in trouble for his shoddy install and repair.

The most troubling part of hiring King Mechanical to install the HVAC unit in my Phoenix home is that throughout this whole ordeal, the owner of King Mechanical had no feelings of obligation to the new HVAC unit he installed or the damage his repair caused. King Mechanical would not even schedule an emergency repair when his AC unit completely broke down. He knew I had 4 children in my home in the sweltering heat of summer. He wouldn't return my texts or calls. ( see video)

I expected a reliable AC unit and a company who stands behind their product and their service. Arizona has many HVAC companies that place quality products, provide quality service to their customers after they get paid. These companies make AC repairs that will not destroy the AC unit. King Mechanical is NOT one of these companies. When my King Mechanical AC install did not go right, the owner would not make it right. When the AC unit broke down, he would not help. In fact, the owner of King Mechanical NEVER responded unless he thought he was going to get in trouble.

Frank Marquez will take your money and disappear. King Mechanical does not stand behind its workmanship. Do not make the expensive mistake of hiring King Mechanical for HVAC repair and AC installation in Phoenix.

James arrived and knew immediately that our drain was plugged causing our air conditioner to leak. He took the time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing. James was also right upfront with the cost for what needed to be done. Additionally, he cleaned up the area and our air conditioner is running smoothly.
We are very satisfied with the service.

Kyle was very professional and did a good job of explaining everything that he did and checked while servicing my air conditioning system today.

The representative was very responsive and provided lots of info regarding air conditioners. The price this co gave me was almost the same as a Bosch sir cond from another co but the warranty on the Bosch unit longer plus included a whole house power surge protector. If I had gone with a lennox this would been my co of choice.

Stuart was great and very helpful to go over maintenance issues that my house needs to keep my A/C up and running

Tech showed up within the hour of my call. Determined the problem and had parts on hand to repair. Fully repaired and proper cooling within an hour. Reasonable fee. Very happy with this company.

Josh Burk was my service person today. He was on time and quickly diagnosed the issues with my kitchen faucet. My home is 30-35 yrs old and so is the plumbing.Josh is a great communicator. He is warm, friendly, witty, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He is a true professional who made sure that I was kept informed as to what steps needed to be taken, as he discovered them. He was very attentive and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with his tasks.He did have to purchase new parts, for my repair and did so willingly.He was very concerned about not creating a mess and was most intent on returning the contents that belong under this sink to their storage area.I am truly impressed and commend Josh as well as his employers at Parker and Sons. I can't say enough nice things about Goliath Mechanical. They did an amazing job, and their customer service was fantastic. They were genuine and dependable, and I would recommend them to everyone I know!!

Not sure about George Brazil as a company, it is too early to review them. However, they have an amazing technician named Chuck Wilson, who went above and beyond to find the problem with my unit. He came back out on the weekend to resolve the issue. He was friendly, polite and explained everything in detail. He actually listens to his customers and finds the problem. Great customer service!

I trust George/Air Control completely! I not only use him to service my own home, but I continually refer him to my clients, neighbors and friends. George is extremely honest and has a very high level of integrity. If there is an issue, he'll tell you, but if there isn't, he'll tell you that, too. It's hard to know who you can trust in the a/c-heating business - until you meet George.

FN Air is by far the best AC company I have come across in AZ, and I’ve dealt with many. After being without AC for days (mid summer) and dealing with the home warranty company which was giving me a very hard time, I got in contact with FN Air. The owner was very responsive and was able to get a whole new AC unit installed within a day of talking to him. Not only were they responsive and on time for both appointments, they gave the best quote out of the three I was given. I highly recommend FN Air.

We had AHW install our RO system years ago and now we have them change out the filter every year. They keep track of when it is time to be changed out so I don’t have to remember! The techs are always professional and courteous. We had Angel today and he was in and out within 15 minutes- so fast. The water from this filter tastes so good- super clear and pure! Would highly recommend!
