Had Tarvin come out for a clogged PVC pipe for the washing machine unit. There initially was some confusion because water pressure was checked which might have led to a water heater leak that started soon after. They came out again free of charge and they refunded me for the original visit because of the water heater leak that they were able to fix.

Mark Tarvin came out the second time and explained everything in great detail and also gave me competitive quotes on replacing the appropriate malfunctioning equipment.

At the end of the day what you want is accountability and professionalism in a company, and you definitely have that with Tarvin. Would recommend them to friends/family.

I left an email Sunday, and Monday morning got a call from Andy. Our hot water heater was in need of repair. Andy was there in 30 minutes and found the problem, fixed it and found an additional issue to fix. I have used Holtmeier for over 40 years and always felt that the work was excellent and the people talented, honest and friendly.

We had a sump pump electrical failure and our basement carpet was quite wet. Of course we discovered it on a friday evening and had no idea if it was wet down there 1 or 4 days. They did come out promptly and wrote an estimate and we did file an insurance claim. The next day a man came and cut out all the pad and placed heaters and dehumidifiers for several days. The actual damage was far less than expected so when we got a bill for over $7000 dollars we were floored. After talking with other restoration companies they said they too felt we were very much over charged for the scope of work and basically charged double of what we should have been. The salesman and the worker were very friendly so they have that going for them.
