Mitchell was on time, courteous and respectful of my home. He had a young man with him training I believe. They both took the time to wear shoe covers. I really appreciate that. He took his time and went through the system thoroughly. He explained what needed to be done to keep our system running efficiently. The price for cleaning the coils was high to me. But I had him clean it so the system runs better.Overall I was very happy with the service. Just need to lower price and it would be perfect.

I've used SK for a few items over the years. they replaced our AC and tankless water heater a few years ago. That was a good experience and both are still operating seamlessly. I also use them for their annual service contract, performing maintenance on our HVAC system once for the AC season and once for the heating season. This is the BEST work crew we have had this year and we have had four for our home remodel. They came the same day that we called for repairs. Chris explained what was wrong and gave us options. He also told us about their maintenance plan. We decided not to repair our 9 year old unit. We were considering switching to gas instead of electric so Chris contacted someone from his comfort specialty team to meet with us. Adam was great! He thoroughly explained everything to us without any sales pressure. He is very knowledgeable about the products and took time to answer all of our concerns. He arranged installation the following day. They actually arrived when they said they would! We had expected 3 men for the job but this company works as a team. When one teams finishes their job instead of quitting for the day, they go help another team. Great concept. Our new gas furnace and air conditioner were completely installed by 2:30 p.m.!We couldn't be happier! Great company.

Previously left a good review, however, after a search for the parts Chad told me would cost 75% of what a new hot water heater would cost. I found the problem and the part myself and was able to repair my heater on my own. The parts with tax was $221, less than half of what a new heater would be. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to repair with the new parts. He tried to upsell me to a new water heater installation which would have been a little over $2300, I was shocked at that price knowing I could buy a new heater at Lowes for a little over $400. He also said a whole lot of blah, blah, blah about if he did replace my parts that he refused to light it without a chimney inspection being done because of again blah, blah, blah explaining basically that he wanted to be able to charge me the ridiculous amount that he had quoted to replace mine. I paid the service call of $99 to maybe get an honest price of a simple repair but just wasted a Benjamin so to speak. My hot water heater is performing like a champ at only 10% of what he quoted me $221 is a whole lot easier to swallow than $2300. I understand labor would be required to replace the part but this repair with labor would have been extremely less than a new water heater. With the economy the way it is, if this is how you stay open(taking advantage of people) then it is truly shameful and you should be embarrassed! Thank you guys for the great service you provide lol. But won’t be recommending you to anyone

Closed the deal Friday evening at 830, had install of new heatpump and air handler complete following Wednesday. Worked clean and fast, gave a thorough explanation of unit and NEST controls. Great warranty, 10yrs parts and labor, lifetime on compressor with no maintenance contract required.Everything works beautifully!Update 1/20/23Had my 2nd free service visit, everything running perfect! I am saving approximately 150-200/mo over my old system that was 30 years old.. I am never home so the Nest controller keeps the house cooler in the winter when I am away saving me a ton of money.. the system will pay for itself in 4 years.. I signed up for the service contract, with the savings I am getting it more than pays for itself.All the techs are well groomed, clean, polite, on time and well qualified.I am very happy now with my new system...I was miserable before trying to keep my old unit running using a Home Warranty that every time my system broke down, they sent the worst of the worst... no more Augusts without A/C...

We called Schneller Knochalmann because they had such good reviews and boy are we glad we did! We had initially been quoted a time of 12:30 pm for someone to come and fix a portion of pipe in our basement that was badly leaking. Not only did they keep us updated on their arrival time, but they were actually able to see us an hour and a half earlier than our originally scheduled appointment! After reading a lot of the reviews online we saw that Alex was one of their best reviewed plumbers and so we were thrilled when we found out he was going to be the one doing our repair. He was very knowledgeable and upfront about the repair and cost. He also assisted in giving us much needed advice on any future issues we might have with our plumbing as we live in an older home that needs pipe updating. He fixed our leak so quickly and efficiently walking through all of his decisions and answering all questions we had! He also installed our garbage disposal despite the fact that the new model (we purchased prior to this appointment) wasn’t easily compatible with the old one. All in all a great experience we will definitely be using them in the future for plumbing and hvac inspections and repairs! Rick showed up on time and was very professional. He walked in the door and put booties over his shoes before taking another step. He then proceeded to confirm what I suspected was wrong with the furnace. He was also very familiar with our furnace brand and also a known problem, which could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. He checked it due to the potential safety concern based on something I had mentioned to him even though the issue/reason for the service call had nothing to do with this other issue. I feel like he listened closely and took the time to make sure he wasn't just going to put me or my family in harm's way. He also took the time to show me the issue rather than just telling me about it. He did offer to complete the repair of just the item that had failed, and I didn't feel like he was just trying to push me into a new furnace. Highly recommend Schneller Knochelmann and hope that all their service techs are like Rick!

These guys are top notch! We had an issue and had to replace our 27 year old a/c and furnace. We had multiple quotes and not only was S&K the best offer, others simply could not compete with the warranty offers.In addition, Pete came to do our sales walk through and was very patient with our questions and provided honest and candid feedback and opinions to what our best options were.The installation went great with the techs arriving right on time. The install was clean and finished in 1-day as promised. They also showed us the system, did a walk through, and answered multiple questions we had along the way. The unit is super quiet and we can barely tell it’s on when inside the house. Night and day difference to the old unit. I initially set up a quote appointment to swap from our old propane system to an electric due to very high propane costs, and the person I spoke with ended up talking me out of it.9/14/22 I get a call (about a month later) and it was Dylan Baine. He was super professional, explained what happened with the previous employee I had spoke with, and came out today (09/15/22) to do the quote. On time, very generous with his answers to my questions, and in the end gave us a fantastic deal that was within our budget to get our old and tired hvac system replaced with a brand new one that will be saving us TONS of $ in the future, especially in the winter time. Also, he was extremely personable and chatted with us about things that weren't even related to the job. 10/10, will do business with this company again, ESPECIALLY if Dylan remains our Comfort rep.09/19/2022 UpdateMike and his crew came out and did a fantastic job. Punctual, efficient, and honest. The brand new outside unit they brought with them ended up being dented/dinged when they took it out of the cardboard. They notified me immediately, gave us the option of either a new unit, or generous discount if we used it (full warranty, no damage outside of minor cosmetic). Worked through challenges, cleaned up everything wonderfully, and were extremely personable.20/20, this company is top notch. As long as I'm in the Cinci area, I will use them regardless of where I live.

If you are looking for a new equipment or just to service your equipment, this is the company you want. They are not driven by sales, but by customer service. I was looking to get a quote for a new furnace. Called on a Sunday afternoon and Andrew was at my house by 8:30 Monday morning before we faced the 92 degrees outside temps. Our system is original, ancient and we knew this day would come as its long overdue. I’m getting my quote for replacement just a couple hours and will be installed tomorrow. I believe all will go as it has before, fantastic service.Update: my new HVAC system was installed the next day and has been working perfectly even with these extremely hot days with triple digits after heat index. Hot water heater died. Called and they sent someone out within the hour, no extra charge, and no charge for the inspection. Decided to go with a tankless water heater and prices were provided at the time of inspection. After making my selection, they informed me they would start the install and removal of old tank within the hour. I was stunned that they were able to do the install the same day, but relieved in knowing I wouldn’t have to wait a day or two. Sure enough they showed up about 45 minutes later and got to work installing the new tankless system. They were very polite, cleaned up all debris and mess made and made sure all questions were answered before they left. I have zero complaints with the installers, receptionist or the company. Will definitely use in the future for any furnace/AC tune ups or any plumbing issues that may arise.

I was looking for a new HVAC company to perform routine maintenance on my heat pump system. Schneller Knochelmann had a good reputation and a seemingly fair price. I signed up for their maintenance program. On the first maintenance visit, the technician (whose name I know but am choosing to omit) inspected the system and told me that there was “a leak” and that the unit “needs to be replaced.” I asked him if there were other options to address the issue and he said no, that it “wouldn’t be worth repairing”. He scheduled a visit for the sales person from the company to come to my house within the next several days. I listened to what the sales person had to say, and told him I would think it over. I decided that I would call another company to come inspect the system and give a second opinion. The second company inspected the system and confirmed that it was slightly low on refrigerant, but that that particular issue could be caused by a leak, which could be repaired, or simply from hooking and unhooking test equipment to it over the years. This other company gave me three potential options for addressing my issue instead of trying to jump to selling me a new unit. For peace of mind, I called a THIRD company to come inspect the unit. This third company agreed with the assessment of the second, that it was slightly low on refrigerant but that there didn’t seem to be any major issue. I brought the second company back to recharge the system and see how it held up. When the second company came back ~6 months later for maintenance, the charge in the system was fine and they confirmed that there was no leak. Now, approaching the end of another summer, the unit is still functioning fine. I waited to ensure the unit would continue working properly before posting this review to confirm there was no major issue.To say that I feel the company (and particularly this technician) was trying to take advantage of me would be an understatement. The idea that an “experienced” technician couldn’t come up with a single potential solution other than selling me an entire new unit is preposterous, as was confirmed by having a second and third company inspect the unit and propose alternative solutions.I called the company to cancel my maintenance agreement and shared my complaints with the office. I asked that my concerns be passed to management. I do not know if they were, but I was never contacted in response, but I know that Schneller Knochelmann typically replies to these online reviews since they are public. I am posting this review to A) ensure that others are aware of this situation so they aren’t taken advantage of in a similar way and B) ensure management is aware of the situation.

The tune up of our furnace and air conditioning went very well. Sadie arrived on time, was courteous, efficient, and very good at answering qukestions. The tune up was really 5 stars. I listed 4 stars only because the cost of the twice yearly tune up and corresponding warranty, parts, and service guarantees have gone up to $180 annually. This is an edit but yesterday I had the plumbing tune up service done as well. Nick brought a plumber in training and they were very diligent in checking out our system. It was determined we had a whine in the pipes. As the home is older, diagnosis and analysis was tougher but they handled it with ease. Ultimately, they not only finished the tune up but replaced a couple of toilet valves and worked with the regulator to have the system functioning like new. I mentioned earlier that the service agreement had gone up in price but it's still well worth it as the parts and labor were discounted on the repair. Also, when I took a look at the price increase, I neglected to consider that plumbing was in the package. It had previously saved me money on my new furnace, heat pump, and hot water heater. So, although it's more, it's still well worth it.

I do not recommend. Tech was 3 hrs late which wasn't a real big deal i understand. But i had to go to work so my wife handled it. He was supposed to give a free estimate. On he charged her. When I called in the first place I specifically asked would if I'd get a free estimate an she said the tech would waive it. He couldnt get a diagnostic because his (gauge) wasn't working. Still charged. An upon coming home at 630am as in walking up my steps i hear my spiket on the side of the house running on high. ! I called an they wouldn't give a her money back for the (free) estimate. An said would put it toward purchase of a water heater I said it just needs a relief valve replaced an id just do it myself. Said a valve replace was 600 I was trying to save the trouble of doing it but they are cheap ill do it.

It amazes me just how much this young man (Logan Felter) knows about plumbing repair. It was very evident from the start that he was a dedicated, honest worker. He listened to us about the problem we were having with the toilet, investigated and told us what the problem was and what the fix would be. As usual the service person arrived as scheduled and checked everything out. He went above and beyond clearing out leaves from the outdoor unit. Very pleasant courteous and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.From last winter: Our furnace didn’t turn on while we were out so was surprised to find temp down to 64 degrees inside. We called and a service tech was here in an hour!!!!! He switched it off/on and it started working. So no problem wa ms apparent. He stayed 45 minutes to make sure it was working correctly. I was shocked that they came so quickly! Have peace of mind knowing that they will come and do what it takes to get things working again. Very polite tech too!

The only thing is they ran the line to the AC below the ceiling joists. I didn't realize it while they were here.. I'm in the process of finishing my basement and the line is in an ackward place. I wish they had talked to me before running it there. Bummer.Update: they came back and moved the line. Came back again when I was concerned about an odd sound. Secured a loose bolt that was the source of the issue.I'm very pleased.

On the hottest week of the summer our Air Conditioner decided to give out. We called Schneller and Knochelmann, and they were able to fit us in right away for an inspection to see what the problem was (and on top of everything this happened right before the weekend). They showed up on time (on a Saturday) and quickly pointed out the problem. That very same day they were able to send out a maintenance technician for another inspection and to present us our options of what could/needed to be done. They were very thorough and proficient. On top of that, us being new homeowners bombarded Zach with questions to get a better understanding of what was going on and he took the time to answer all of our questions. Once that was done they were able to fit us in that following Monday to install our new Heating and AC unit. They were able to get it done in one day with minimal issues. They were very professional and had great communication.

First used KS Feb of 2021 when 20+ y.o. furnace went out in the middle of winter. Response to original call was the most responsive from about 3-4 places we called. Install was professional and timely given the time of year. They even helped fix existing issues with duct layout and sizing. A minor adjustment was needed about a week later and their response was again very timely. They’ve since been out for AC check and most recently Jeremy performed a furnace check/tune up. Every time their service techs have been on time, performed the work in the timeframe quoted, informative and knowledgeable. Pricing seems to be on point with industry averages. So given the professional and timely service provided along with that we’ve been more than satisfied with this company and their work.Update 07/14/23: opinion above has not changed based on Tech Sam’s visit today.

Our Trane AC went out at 4:55PM on a Thursday and within 15 minutes of my call there was a technician on the way. Turned out the blower motor was faulty. Jay said he would call me first thing Friday, which he did, as he had located the replacement motor. Unfortunately, even though we were in the middle of summer with 90 degree temps, Trane's shipping policy, that they call emergency service is 1- 3 days. This policy would alone would keep me from ever purchasing a Trane product again. Their service parts seem to be unique and extremely difficult to obtain.The motor arrived the following Wednesday, yes nearly an entire week with no AC. Jay scheduled a return call the day the part came in, but as he was on his way a severe storm took out our power. Jay proceeded anyway and installed the blower motor using temporary lighting running off a generator. Our power was restored a day later and the system seems to be fully operational. I commend Jay for his promptness, professionalism and technical skills to provide a successful outcome. He did everything he said he would do and his follow up on details is second to none. My sincere thanks to Jay, Bobbie and the Schneller Knochnelmann team. I appreciate the extremely professional set of communications tools they use to keep the customer informed.

On 10/11/22 Chad come out specially to reset my toilet in a very small bathroom. I was very clear when I made the appointment that the toilet needed to be reset because it was leaking from the base and the floor tile was uneven. Chad didn’t even touch the toilet ( hejust pointed). Telling me the whole bathroom needed to be redone because the shower, toilet and sink were leaking (NOT)and gave me a # of someone who remodels bathrooms. Since then I called upon another service who tore out the toilet replaced the O ring.(and was not afraid of moving around in my small bathroom). Put shims to even the floor so the toilet would sit and work perfectly. Now it’s perfect ….no thanks to Chad! He did sell me the Schneller yearly service which I have no faith to use.

I was referred by a family member to call Schneller for my heating problems. My heating unit was blowing cold air. The receptionist was very friendly and informed me she would have someone call me right away. A gentleman by the name of Eric returned my call. He had provided me information on their procedures and what I should expect. He also told me he was booked for the day, and he was going to try to make it to my home. Eric kept me up to date on his status throughout the day. It was about 10:30 at night and he wanted to come to my house to fix my problem. After discovering a frozen coil I called the business and was given a next day appointment. Andrew showed up on time and diagnosed my problem within 15 minutes. After giving me several options for repair I opted to go with an installment of a new system due to the age of my AC and cost of R22. Mark was able to stop by an hour later, measure my system and walk me through my options. He answered all my questions, was honest and upfront. I elected for an installation of a new AC and Furnace due to their competitive pricing and great equipment offered. The install team showed up the next day and David introduced himself and what he’d be doing. Throughout the course of the day he kept me in the loop, didn’t mind my hovering and answered all of my questions. After they finished they cleaned up, walked me through my new system and left. After explaining to Jay my problem of either it being too cold or too hot in the house and the fan not running continuously as result of these issues, Jay checked all the settings on the A/C and furnance. He also checked the Nest to see if it was performing properly and it was. After further discussion with Jay regarding the issues of cold, hot and fan, I learned (to my embarassement) I was causing these problems. Since I run my heating and cooling systems manually, Jay showed me how to keep my fan running continuously by moving the up and down arrow keys on the Nest. Simple. I was making it difficult by my actions. Thanks Jay for my aha moment. Never would I have figured out the simplicity of the solution. Comfortable!

Our Bradford White water heater failed (leaking and rusting) after only 4 years! 😡 Although it was still under warranty, we would have had to pay for installation for a replacement heater that we no longer trusted to work as claimed.We called Schneller & Knochelmann, a company we have been using for several years. I am a huge fan of Schneller & Knochelmann. About 5 years ago I selected them to install a new whole house air conditioner. They did a superb job making sure everything was installed perfectly and that my wife and I were totally comfortable with the new equipment. I have continued to use them for its annual checkup. And wow! Are they thorough! Their technicians go over everything with a fine tooth comb and provide a full report of all their work...and all for a very modest price. Most recently I noticed that the slab they installed with the new outdoor A/C unit had settled causing the unit to sit ajar. Their technician noted the issue and within a day their installation manager came out and leveled it all up at no charge. Not only is that service, but it shows they stand behind their work for years! I highly recommend Schneller & Knochelmann!

I had my 22 year old furnace give up the ghost 10 days ago so I called Schneller and Knochelmann to diagnose and if possible repair. The repair personnel showed up at the agreed upon time and were very professional. They diagnosed my old furnace using modern technologies (borescope) as suffering a major mechanical failure (rusted out burners) and recommended replacement instead of repair due to the age of the current furnace. They provided me with 4 recommended furnaces as replacement.I conducted my review of the cost of repair versus replacement and agreed with their recommendation for replacement; repair was approximately 25% the cost of replacement plus there were other components of the old furnace at or approaching end of life. I notified Schneller and Knochelmann I agreed that replacement was the best option and selected a very nice 96% high efficiency furnace.The installers and support personnel showed up at my house on the agreed upon installation date at the specified time. The work was performed with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy with personnel answering any questions that I had. The entire installation process took about six hours. When the installation was complete the installers carefully cleaned up the work area and removed any materials used in the installation along with the remnants of the old furnace. I was told that components from the old furnace would be recycled if possible.I remember the great joy I felt when the new furnace finally started up. Great volumes of warm, comfortable air filled my home. The new furnace is excellent and very quiet.I highly recommend Schneller and Knochelmann to anyone needing heating system work.

Had routine maintenance on my oil furnace. Everything was exceptional. Appointment was right on time, I was notified when the technician was on his way with a text message that included his name and picture. Kevin was very thorough with his maintenance and explained everything he did and thought should be done. I even received a follow up phone call to make sure I was satisfied and they thanked me for being their customer. Service like that seems to be hard to find these days and I for one appreciate it and will definitely use them in the future.

Chad was an amazing resource to us as we navigated a really scary/costly issue with our sewer system. He found the cause of the problem, unlike workers from the other two companies that we got opinions from prior, and made sure that we got a great price for the work done. Update on previous review:Knochelmann reached out with a phone call to my neighbor. My neighbor told Knochelmann that the competitor was working on the unit, Knochelmann hung up on him with no response.I'm posting this for my neighbor, Gary Mulligan.I am a very disappointed twenty-year, loyal, Schneller Knochelmann customer, purchasing productsfrom you as well as continuous yearly maintenance service.Two weeks after the warranty for labor ran out on my air conditioner, I needed a new A-coil replaced. The parts were still under warranty. I was quoted 3000 dollars for labor to fix it. After much discussion, we came to an agreement of 1600 dollars for labor. It only took two hours to install (800 dollars an hour).In 2023 I had my yearly air-conditioning maintenance done and while cleaning the condenser coil the tech found a leak. The coil is covered under the parts warranty. Labor for Schneller Knochelmann to install it was 5000 dollars. I again called to address my concerns but they stuck with the price of 5000 dollars.I called Arlinghaus and they are going to do it for 2100 dollars.I’m considering contacting the local news and/or social media and BBB to let people know how Schneller Knochelmann takes advantage; although parts are covered under warranty by the manufacturer the costs are outrageous if any labor needs to be done.

We are so very grateful that they worked us in today! The 25+ year old system made some horrible noises last night. Fearing it could start a fire we shut it down. Waking up to a house at 59° F we had to find someone willing to respond today. Some repairs were made, but we realize the system may be reaching its expiration! I’ll never do business with this company. Two guys came out for an estimate along with a couple other companies throughout the day on May 10th. I was told I’d have an emailed estimate within 45 minutes. They took payment for the $99 fee and all I received was an email to rate my experience. I ended up choosing another company to repair my waterline. On the day (May 15th) my guys were working on my line from another company, a guy from Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating & Air in his company car showed up to the site, attempted to force my guys to stop working due to “conflict of interest” and lied to my guys that I received an estimate but denied it. This delayed my guys a couple hours as they had to respectfully deny such request and they ended up working until 9pm after they began at 9am. Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating & Air is a shady business and I’ll never recommend this business to anyone.

We have had HVAC maintenance service contract with Schneller Knockleman for many years. Our hot water surge tank started dripping. Called Schneller and since it wasnt an emergency, they sent a tech the following business day.He determined the surge tank went bad due to a faulty PRV pressure reduction valve at the house water inlet. Our house water system was at street pressure.Generated a quote at that time.We agreed and the work was scheduled for a day we chose.Nice plumbing tech. Cleaned up the two areas he worked on, and house water pressure was back down to normal.Final bill was exactly as estimated.

Max, the technician, was awesome. I had an appointment on Monday for an A/C that was not working but got on cancellation list in case any appts opened up, as we were already into the heat without A/C for 3 days.The company called Saturday afternoon with an available appt and arrived within 30 min of the call. Tony was great, he listened to me and the issue that i had happening with my thermostat. He wasn't too proud to call a supervisor for further insight into how to fix the issue. Schneller Knochelmann provided a thorough evaluation of my home and provided several options for me to choose for a gas furnace and AC unit replacement. Installation was as professional as I've ever seen (I've been in commercial construction for over 20 years). The install techs were friendly, knowledgeable, protected the home at every point of entry all the way to the equipment. They replaced or improved existing items in the house that I didn't consider part of the scope (condensate drain location/routing of the existing humidifier among some other small items) just to get a total professional look/install. However small this item was, it proves to me they take pride in their work and want everything to be perfect when they're done. They modified the existing ductwork perfectly and sealed around everything new and old perfectly. They inspected other items once the old unit was removed just to ensure everything checked out and was working properly. You can tell both of the installation techs take pride in their work. Quality control tech was out mid-install to check in with myself and the installers. Went over everything once installed and you couldn't even tell they were there. This company was recommended to me by another 30+ year commercial construction veteran and now I can see why. I would highly recommend Schneller Knochelmann to anyone.

I love Schneller and Knochelman. We have been using them probably longer than this tech has been alive. Never had any complaints. Today the tech came in, listened to my description, diagnosed the problem (I thought it was the water heater, but it was actually the condensation pump from the furnace), and solved it. Easy peasy! Since S-K had installed and serviced both units, it was considered a follow up service with no charge. And he had treats for my dog. So Winston like S-K, too!

Technician froze my AC & they don’t really offer 24-hour service. Offers incentives for positive reviews, so these aren’t reliable.They sent a couple kids to my house that acted like Beavis & Butthead snickering to each other the whole time and not making eye contact. They broke my 4-year-old HVAC which was working perfectly before they arrived, then didn’t come back to fix their mistake for several days. I urge you to just get a second opinion if you chose Schneller Knochelmann. You’ll be amazed at all the things they try to sell you or replace that you don’t need. I wish I had a list of the stupid things their technicians told me over the years. I assure you that if it sounds stupid, it really is total baloney. Get a second opinion.Stay away from the Performance Maintenance Program, it doesn’t really offer 24-hour service. They’ll show up whenever they feel like it.As much as companies complain about online reviews being “unfair” management had no interest in speaking to my husband or me, no interest in explaining why we had such terrible service or salvaging us as clients. After repeatedly asking for management to call us, we finally canceled the maintenance program. Might as well ask a couple 22-year-old Cutco salesmen if to maintain your HVAC.

Obviously a company that pays to have negative reviews removed. An unqualified “expert” came to refill the Freon. My wife was uncomfortable with his demeanor to the extent she had me on the phone during their interaction. She asked to keep the gate closed because our dog is a runner. He left the gate open and our dog ran. He just watched as he ran away. After less than a minute evaluating, he said he can’t do anything. Cost $129 for nothing. Reached out to the company and zero response in a month.Update to your response:Yes, you were at my home. Your yard sign was in my front yard and my receipt clearly says your company name. I am not referring to the the other Knochelmann. Yes, your tech did let my dog run out. The neighbors who helped catch my dog can confirm this. This “service” was from 4/18

After showing him around and ensuring the correct install he was joined by Ben to install a new water heater and heating system. I scheduled the first A/C maintenance at my home last week. My house is from the 1920s and my A/C system was 30 years old, so it was no surprise when I discovered it was time to be updated. Bryce performed the maintenance for me and was very kind, taking the time to explain my options: repair vs. new system. I didn't feel any pressure and went ahead in setting up a meeting with Zach to discuss a new system. Likewise, he took his time in examining the space, taking measurements and speaking to me about my wants and needs. He made me feel as though I was in the driver's seat and, with a little advice from my dad, I was able to choose a new system that fit a price point I could handle and would suit the space. The install was incredibly smooth and the team explained how to maintain it, when to change the filters, how to work the humidifier, etc. I was so very pleased with the service and was never intimidated or uncomfortable. Set up the annual maintenance plan, and am glad I have this team to work with moving forwad!

I am BEYOND thrilled with the service provided - from the woman we spoke with on the phone who scheduled us to the technician who came to service our HVAC - we were given 5 star customer service the whole way through! Our AC went out in the middle of such a hot week and we were miserable. This company has taken care of our HVAC systems in two residences over the years. Always satisfied with the work, technician courtesy and knowledge. A repair was needed during the preventive maintenance/winter check up visit today. The company could have made a thousand dollars on us but without any input from us, they elected not to charge us because the problem developed while technician was here. Wow! Nathan was patient and clearly explained the situation and worked extra hard to resolve the problem so that we had a working system by days end.

The coldest day of 2022. Feels like -32 according to the Weather Channel. No heat at my parents’ house. Our technician, Cody, checked on our newly replaced furnace by Knochelmann and figured it out it was the thermostat issue. Cody replaced the thermostat and the system is back on running again. I am glad my parents purchased both a/c and furnace from Schneller and Knochelmann. They do very high quality work.

Paul performed a routine winter check of our heating system. I was given an advance telephone call by the home office the morning of the scheduled service that Paul was on his way and that he was about 45 minutes out I also received an email that morning with Paul’s picture advising me that he would be performing the routine service. Paul arrived on time, introduced himself and and then, before entering the house, put on a clean pair of shoe coverings. He then explained the scope of work he would be performing and how long it was expected to take. The total time for the system check was approximately half an hour. I was very pleased with his work.

I had a 2pm appointment set up. The Company called at 12:15 to inform me the tech was ahead of schedule and could arrive early if it worked for me, which it did. Shortly thereafter I received a text informing me of Rico's arrival time and his picture. A much apprenticed consideration!Rico arrived by 1:00 and was very pleasant, knowledgeable in his work, and was kind enough to answer my questions and explain things. They use some sort of system where the prices are laid out and non-negotiable. This leads to quotes for $400 to replace a kitchen faucet(one i already had purchased for $200), the install took me less than an hour. The one server I had them perform did have some value, but it was overpriced probably by $100 to $200. That's the problem with having some sort of catch all pricing system. Probably wouldn't go to them for plumbing anymore at least. If i can install a kitchen sink for $200 and undercut companies that got too massive and have to feed their owners more and more, maybe i should do some side plumbing work.

(Nov) Kyle was an awesome tech. Explained everything thoroughly, reassured me about what it seemed to be and simple next steps if I have any further problems. Very kind - and patient - with my wild toddler running around and roar-ing at him every time he came inside.(Jan 2020) There was another issue but that led to them finding the real problem and I was never charged for any of these follow up visits. They sent someone out and even brought a member of the original install team to help improve his knowledge of what went wrong and how he can prevent it in the future. Bobby was the tech who made the repair and he was incredibly friendly and resilient. He was out in freezing weather for hours working on the repair. He made sure I was minimally interrupted and gave me short, easy to understand, explanation of what they did. I really appreciated him doing it right - no matter how cold he was. Bobby did great!JUNE 2022- LOGAN came out for a regular check up/tune up appt and he was very friendly, respectful, and approachable. Thank you Logan!December 2022 - Jay went above and beyond to make sure I knew everything I needed to know before he left, gave tips and tricks, and answered my sons random questions. From the moment I made the phone call at 8.30pm on a Sunday to frantically try and get someone to come out, right to them cutting to the chase on how to best expedite the process, up to, and including, but certainly not last, the top notch professional that came out today, named John. John is what a salesperson should be. Kind, likeable, personable, knowledgeable, professional, but not too serious to throw some light jokes around, and really, I can't express this enough, just amazing.I'm sure all of your advisors are wonderful. Really, I do. I don't think a company this well run could have a bad one. But John was next level. Due to issues we've faced with other industries lately, we were terrified of how this would go, but John made me feel like a friend and he shot straight with easy to understand and fair estimates.Do I really need to go on? He took care not to make a mess, was very thorough and left the area as he found it, locking the outside downstairs door back up and turning off the lights. He recommended an air cleaner because of growth inside the furnace cabinet, which he took several pictures of to show me, but he wasn't at all pushy in trying to sell me one. Very prompt service. Rick was totally professional in replacing a leaking Insikerator hot water heater, including the on-off valve. under the kitchen sink. He also detected another leak and replaced the original saddle valve with a more reliable T valve. Mark came.out to give an an estimate on a new ac/furnace. I wanted to upgrade our system since it was 25 yrs old. I told him I wanted 2 estimates on the an reasonable system and a better system. He wanted to know my budget. I told him I had no budget, I was paying cash for it. He was a pushy salesman and wanted me to get it the next day to save money. I told him I would not commit to the next day bc my husband was not home and wanted him to look at the systems he was gonna give me an estimate on so he can decide which one to get. First, he said he would send an estimate the following week, then said he would send it that same day. I never received an estimate from him. I felt he wanted the sale right then. I waited 2 weeks for the estimate. I called a small local company, he gave me an estimate which my husband looked at and he came right out and installed new systems for me.i felt like he didn't believe I was going to get new ac/furnace bc I wouldn't commit to him right then. I am young and told him I was paying cash and felt like he didn't believe me. I called the company and let them know I went with another company and they lost out on a $17000 sale. They said they would look into it and never received follow up call on why they didn't send me an estimate. They lost out not me.

We had a home warranty through AHS, we had bought it on our own since we had built our house 11 years ago and thought we would start having issues. Of course we started having issues with our HVAC system not cooling properly. We had request service through our home warranty and they sent out a company that is less than reputable. (which we had, had service through before and they were amazing then.). This time the tech didn’t show up until almost 5pm, went straight to the outside unit, never stepped foot in the basement. Told my husband it looked like someone had put stop leaking in the system and it is a gummed up. He was going to submit it to the warranty company and get back with us. 2 DAYS LATER, I had called the company and the home warranty, they never submitted the diagnosis to the home warranty company. This was a holiday weekend and it was going to be 90 degrees each day! Instead of waiting, I got on Schneller Knochelmann’s website and talked to someone through the chat who set me up with a consultation over the phone. Corbin called me right after I got off of the chat and reassured me on all of my concerns and set me up with a quote appointment with Dylan Baine the next day. Dylan was absolutely beyond helpful! He came out told us exactly what we needed, was very accommodating. We told him that our daughters room even with the old system wasn’t cooling down. He said that they would take care of it. We talked it over and decided to forgo our home warranty and purchase a new HVAC with Schneller Knochelmann. Dylan answered all of my questions and even came out to go over everything with us the next day. With it being the holiday weekend and is ordering the unit on a Saturday, I thought for sure it was going to be delayed, it was not. The tech Mike Grube and his partner Brandon were absolutely amazing! Answered all of my questions, kept me up-to-date with everything while I was at work. We were very satisfied with their work. At the end of the day we had a working HVAC unit and all was good. Needless to say, I did cancel my home warranty as they did not provide any monetary relief from replacing my unit. Even though it took them 10 days from the date I put in the request until I took matters into my own hands! A huge Thank You to everyone that help along the way!!

I have been having issues with the ac thermostat affecting the temperature in the house to not stay consistent, etc. On a very late Thurs. afternoon I called the company explaining that the thermostat was not operating correctly, that the screen was going blank at random, resulting 2 days in a row of the ac shutting off until thermostat was reset, etc. The company sent Jay Gross to service the call in the evening. Time will tell but its now been 24 hours since Jay serviced the thermostat, assured me he has cleared all schedules on it, and so far it's working great. Zach was extremely professional while making the repairs which took nearly all day, even to the point of mopping my basement floor where the repairmen had brought in a little bit of mud. We have been using Schneller Knochelmann (SK) for years for all of our HVAC and plumbing needs; and their service continues to be at the highest levels of quality and professional. Today in particular, we were receiving our semi-annual maintenance for our heating system, which was performed by Sadie. My wife and I want to say how pleased we were with her service. She was very professional, personable, and followed all safety and health protocols during her visit. Additionally, she went above and beyond by asking whether we had our ducts cleaned recently; as there was a lot of debris in the system and areas noted previously were still dirty. We replied that quite recently we had used the service recommended by and paid thru SK. She researched our account, found out who did the service and said there have been some issues with them. As a result, Sadie said that she would talk to management about sending another company to repeat the service for no charge. Before leaving she went over all of the services she provided, the results, and that SK would follow up in the next few days about the ducts. Based on our experience today we highly recommend SK as a company, and want SK to know that Sadie is truly an exemplary employee.

I requested a gas heater be installed in my garage. Simple install, 10ft of flex pipe, 2 shut offs and various fittings to connect on both ends. Requested a ballpark quote, wouldn't give me one. Told me they would have to come out and quote me. Leary, I set up a time. They said between 8 and 9, the plumber showed at 0945. 10 minutes later, quoted me $872 for the job. I declined and was charged $89 for the 10 minutes it took to tell me they were overpriced. I declined their service and went with someone else who came in at $200 less then these guys.To summarize:- job took a little over an hour- required about $100 in parts- they won't give you any idea what standard installation costs- you have to pay to understand they are expensive.- they were lateReason for two stars instead of one is simply because they are courteous upon arrival and they communicate when the plumber is enroute.

Chad is an outstanding technician. His knowledge on the tankless water heater is clearly second to none. We are hoping his repair will prevent us from needing to replace the unit after only 2.5 to 3 years. He and manager David assured me they would take care of it if the repair doesn’t work. I thought something was wrong with my sump pump so I contacted Schneller Plumbing. I used their online booking service which was extremely easy to use plus I was able to pick the day and time for service. Not only did they arrive on time but I also received a 30-minute advanced notice via phone call, plus a text showing me what Chad looked like. Chad did a full inspection of the equipment. I was glad to hear nothing was wrong and it was reassuring to learn what steps to take in the future. Chad was not only prompt and polite, he was also knowledgeable and very professional.

Recently installed heat pump stopped working on a cold night. Although it took a little time to find the best way to contact them at 7am, I did via chat from their website. Technician (Eric) was on site by 9:20am and replaced the fuse that had blown. He fully explained what he did and spent a lot of time trying to find the root cause of the problem. He wasn't able to do that, but I feel good that they will respond quickly if it happens again, and will replace the heat package if necessary--fully under warranty.

I just bought my condo 2 months ago. Right before closing the previous owner had a new HVAC system installed. I haven’t had to use my heat until a couple of weeks ago. I noticed that it didn’t seem to be heating very good so I called the company to get them to come look at the system. Rico was on time and very thorough. He finally figured out that the heating element was missing from my unit. They are replacing the whole unit. The site visit to evaluate my needs was very thorough, as was the follow-up to present the quotation. I upgraded my AC to a heat pump to reduce my heating oil costs in the winter as the price of oil rises. I was slotted in for installation very quickly, and the installation itself went fast and smooth. The installation techs (David & Tyler U.) were extremely respectful of our home and communicated with me as the homeowner in a respectful and professional manner. The quality of the installation is outstanding. I could not be more pleased with this experience!Update: I needed help understanding how to configure the new smart thermostat. Schneller Knochelmann sent out Eric M. right away to answer my questions. Not only did he get the thermostat set up the way I wanted it, he also checked my existing air handler and made an adjustment to the blower speed to optimize it for cooling and heating. He also did a follow-up pressure check on the new heat pump and found that it needed a little bit more refrigerant to be perfectly balanced. Another great experience with the pro team at Schneller Knochelmann!

My Technician named Caleb S. arrived actually early and as he was aware of my late arrival back home he proceeded to start my service work on my HVAC Unit outside. Furnace stopped working in newly purchased home. An SK technician was on site within 2 hours of my call. He had it working inside 30 minutes for a reasonable service fee. He also performed a further inspection which revealed a Crack in the heat exchanger. I would have had SK replace the furnace but their bid was $$$$ otherwise I would have rated 5 srars

If you are looking for a new plumber you should definitely hire Schneller and Knochelmann. Our bathroom faucet handle had broke and we needed a new faucet installed. I called and they were able to get us on the schedule quickly. They gave us a quote on sight for exactly how much it was going to cost (not an hourly bid). We had to order our new faucet but once I knew the date of delivery they were able to come the very next day to fix it for us. Chad was super and nice and very knowledgeable. To replace couple of shower arms and shower handles, quoted price was too much. After providing all the materials plumber’s charge seems to be over US $ 1000 per hour. I have purchased necessary tools and changed one set within 35 minutes. For a pro it could have been less than half and hour job and the other one might take little longer and can be done in 45-60 minutes. Be vigilant and DIY when you can and save money. These are not rocket science.
