Leak discovered on a Saturday morning. Requested Neyer service via their email site. Scheduling of service occurred early Monday morning, before 8:00, and a service call was set for 9:30 that morning. Service technician was prompt, efficient, professional, and clean. Very impressed!

We called Neyer plumbing to troubleshoot a suspected clogged exterior drain-line from our gutter downspout and sump pump. Within a couple of hours Rusty arrived with all the right tools and found roots and other debris in the line. He was able to clear the line and provide great feedback to prevent further issues down the road. He was quick, professional and very knowledgeable. Thank you!

I discovered a gas leak in my home last week resulting in my heat and hot water being turned off during freezing temperatures. Ken Neyer Plumbing was quick to respond and had everything fixed and safe again within a couple days. Had a clogged drain that was stubborn and after working all day on it, I called Neyer and they came out the next day and it was a bigger problem than anticipated, but Dale and his assistant fixed everything within two hours. Great job and reasonable.

We had Ken Neyer out for a second opinion on a collapsed and broken sewer line. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service company.

I've had 6 companies out to look at this issue and to provide quotations. Many of those companies send salesmen/women to your home, some of whom didn't even take the time to do an independent evaluation of the problem. On the other hand, Rusty and Renee took a personal interest. Rusty took it as a challenge to manipulate his camera past the collapsed section of sewer line to help us get a full picture of what was going on.

Also, while we were already planning on pipe bursting, Rusty presented an alternate approach to excavation which saved us from excavating our front patio and sidewalk (which would have been a real mess).

They were also friendly, clean, and talked/walked us through the entire scope, providing a narrated video uploaded directly to my phone to help deal with insurance.

If you call Ken Neyer out to your home, you will definitely not be disappointed if Rusty and/or Renee show up to your door; I would even recommend asking for them specifically.

My In-Laws have been dealing with sewer smells, slow drains and occasional backups for a while. Called Ken Neyer to come out and assess the situation with the intention that they would do a smoke test or camera to identify the issues. Rusty Goins was the tech that was sent to the job. I'm a contractor myself and Rusty impressed me with his straight forward honestly and expertise. Homeowners are lucky to have tradesmen like Rusty.

Excellent service

I called at 9am because I had no hot water, and was told a service person would be out the next day between 8-9am. Due to a cancellation, I had a repairman out not even 45 minutes from my initial call. Will was extremely knowledgable, professional, courteous, and quick to drain my water heater (no mess at all to my finished basement) and replace both heating elements and thermostats. Best of all was the price. More than reasonable. This was my first experience with Ken Neyer Plumbing but it won't be my last. Thank you!!!

Rusty Goins is a master of his trade. Although he is a drain expert, he coordinated every aspect of the service and installation Neyer Plumbing performed at an increasingly problematic new-purchase (older) home for me. It started with a clogged drain and quickly spiraled into hydro-scrubbing and de-scaling of a poorly kept and even worse constructed maze of cast iron plumbing, multiple shower valve replacements, flooring tear-out, and pipe bursting of the main drain. His excavators and liner installers , Kevin and Dan, did an excellent job of leaving the yard just the way it was before the install. Wayne did a nice job of patching the concrete once the interior plumbing was complete in the basement floor, and Jay was a tremendous help with the Hydro-scrubbing and de-scaling process of the cast iron once the main drain was replaced. Although I wasn't happy to discover what the former owners left me with in the sale, I'm very pleased with the work Neyer Plumbing performed and happy to know the repairs and replacements will last for a long time to come...

Worked with Jason to clear a clogged window well drain. He was on time and assessed the effort and did a good job explaining what they could do to help. Said he would have the front office schedule the work. The next day was forecast to be heavy rain over the next few days and he called me and said he would be out to the house in 30 mins as he didn't want to wait to schedule the work as he was concerned with the window well filling up and water coming into the basement. He came out, took care of the job and found some potential issues we will address at a later date as they are not an immediate issue or stopping the water from draining. Jason was professional, courteous and took the time to explain everything that took place. Also impressed he came out in the pouring down rain to help address the issue! Great Customer Service!

We had them quote our job and they came back very quickly. They replaced a waterline and some of the plumbing lines inside and they did a great clean job. They were able to fit us in and got our job don't before we got quotes back from any other companies.

After our decades-old water heater died, Ken Neyer Plumbing provided outstanding service and pricing, and they managed the tough replacement job with calm efficiency. Mark and Jason removed the old unit and installed the new one, smartly navigating a tight spiral staircase to do it. They were quick and professional, didn’t leave a mess, and had us back up and running much sooner than we had ever expected. It was a great experience and a real life saver for us.

After years of repairing several leaks, we had to replace some underground pipe due to the lousy quality of the blue max pipe that was laid in 1989 when our building was built. Doug was able to provide a quick quote and start the job immediately. We had obtained a quote from another company who was having trouble getting the job scheduled, so after reading great reviews, we contacted Ken Neyer Plumbing. They did not change the amount quoted even after an underground complication on the job. Call them. You will not be sorry.

My water heater started leaking the day before Thanksgiving. I was able to get someone in on Friday morning when others wouldn't answer or would take until the following week. I can't remember who took the call (maybe Laura), she was incredibly helpful in answering my questions and worked to get someone there as soon as they could. Dale, who came to replace my heater, was FANTASTIC! He answered every question I had and was so super friendly. He informed me of every step he took and why he was taking it, talked to me about options, and made me feel comfortable with everything he did. Dale said they would take care of me and I couldn't have felt more at ease. There was another gentleman that came to help (can't remember his name, maybe Ron?) and he was just as nice. So professional! The price may be higher, but if you are looking for a reliable, friendly, knowledgeable crew, Ken Neyer is the way to go! If I have any other plumbing needs they will be the first company I call.

Jason came by to scope a sewer line prior to closing on a house and did a great job. I was able watch him send the camera through the line and he answered any questions I had. He even marked the depth of the line outside.

Jason couldn’t have been any more helpful. He was basically here all day making sure our basement drain issues were fixed, explained everything step by step, and offered honest advice.

My sewer main clogged on Sunday, Ronald Hacketts responding within 45 minutes and cleared the main. Great customer service and very professional.

The bad news, sewage line broken. This is going to be expensive! Five plumbing contractors visited and bid the job. One tried to freak me out telling me I had a sink hole forming under my porch. I send Doug Campbell a video of the pipe, and a few photos of the basement and yard. He proposed the pipe bursting technique to save me from tearing out my porch and sidewalk, and provided the lowest bid. Austin, Chris and Kevin came out and knocked out the work in a couple of hours. These guys saved me thousands and did great work.

Corey and Phil were great. They were both very professional and personable. The work was done in a timely manner and fast. On another note my wife claimed she smelled gas after the installation. I contacted Shelley who also was very pleasant and professional on the phone. She stated she would contact Corey about the matter. I spoke with Corey, whom at the time was in Harrison; informed me he would come back to make sure things were go to go. Most companies would have waited until the next day but Corey came back to my location at approx. 6:15 pm to verify all fittings were installed correctly and there were no gas leakage. That say a lot about Neyer and the employees working for you. Thanks again Neyer, Corey, Phil and Shelley

What set Jason apart in my mind was that he was very patient and took his time and explained to me everything that was going on, step by step then gave me options. It's just what I needed to hear. We were stressed because of this issue but in the end having someone who is experienced, knowledgeable, professional and just a good guy made a difficult situation more manageable.

I had the unfortunate experience of a backed-up sewer line that caused significant damage to my finished basement. I was determined to avoid a 'repeat' of that ugly episode and explored several options to have the sewer line permanently cleared of tree roots. I couldn't bear the idea of digging a trench in my front yard, possibly losing a beautiful tree and waiting months or years for the dirt to settle and grass to grow as though it never happened!

I was convinced that trench-less re-lining was the right solution and considered several potential plumbers before selecting Neyer. I had a good vibe during the exploration and made my choice with confidence.

Rusty Goins was all around the best guy for this job. He explained everything so well and was logical and up front. Rusty Goins and Jay came in and unclogged my sewer line from my basement to the street. I sat there with them as they showed me the video of where my drain line was obstructed -what was obstructing it. They showed me all the different types of sewer line from concrete to clay to iron so it was an informational day I learned a lot and I was given some good options. My cost was not as high as it was expected because of what they didn’t have to do which was a relief. All they had to do was push the remaining sediment and they weren’t forced to charge me for the services they thought they might have to do. I appreciate the help and future direction given with my sewer lines.

Called Neyer to replace broken drain pipe in yard. The guys that did the work were awesome...quick, clean and professional. Sales had promised gravel backfill but excavators knew nothing about it...not a biggie but 4*/5* for miscommunication. Overall, very happy and would highly recommend. They do great work and cost was less than other estimates.

They delayed the install and tried to jack up the price $200. So I called Ken Neyer Plumbing and with in 2 hours had a service tech out to my house and 3 hours later my water heater was fully installed. They stuck to their quote (which was better then fair) and got the job done fast. The service tech Ron was very professional and did a great job. I will call Ken Neyer Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for now on.

We had been experiencing a loss of water pressure if we ever tried to do two things at once (such as flush a toilet and turn on a faucet). When we tested our pressure everything seemed normal. Rusty Goins at Neyer Plumbing is amazing! On Sunday night, we dropped a tin of lip balm down the toilet drain and on Monday morning Neyer helped us. I'm so grateful they sent Rusty. He was friendly, warm, professional, and honest and he showed up wearing his mask! He clearly explained all the different approaches we could take and the variables and cost involved. We decided to go for removing the toilet to try to retrieve the tin, but Rusty was so skillful with the wet vac that we didn't have to move a thing! After a visual inspection of the drainage pipe he recommended a jettison cleaning which I agreed. I had a blockage in my sewer main, so at the recommendation of a friend, I called Ken Neyer Plumbing. They ran a camera into the main and it was determined that hydro jetting was in order to clear the stoppage. They were very professional and informative and explained each step of the process. I had a fantastic experience today with Gary Daniels from Ken Neyer Plumbing. Although he was here to complete a baseboard heater installation, he diagnosed several other plumbing issues that we had, including one that I had had several other plumbing companies look at! We called about a leaky toilet. Jay was out in about an hour. I received a clear explanation of the problem and the options. The leak was fixed quickly.

We had a root obstruction at our house that had to be taken care of pretty much immediately. After calling four places that were too busy, I finally (and luckily) got ahold of Neyer. They were able to come out right away. I received a call from Rusty as soon as he was on his way, again when he got to the house and several times throughout the visit - keeping me up to date on everything that he found. I honestly couldn't have been happier with Rusty's professionalism and the results that Never plumbing provided. Rusty was able to take care of everything and get us back up and running in no time. I have used Neyer over the years for jobs big and small, emergencies and routine work. Every person that has showed up was very professional, thorough and clearly explained everything

Rusty was very educational in his explaining that we had 2 issues going on with 2 different stops in the same line. In clearing one of the stops he ended getting completely covered in muck. Better Rusty than me. Together we ended up determining a path forward to remove the other blockage in the line which ultimately was going to have to replace a tee in the basement which I knew all along was a restriction to flow. The solution was to replace with a 90 and use a fernco. The blockage was at least 25 years of hair built up. Once the tee was removed access to clear the line was easy. Now the line has 2 fernco's couplers for if and when there is another blockage access to remove it will be easier and now drain flow is less restrictive. The cost was high as is normal plumbing costs. It still puzzles me a plumber per hr labor is more than an engineer, which I am. Spite the cost, the work was professional and Rusty was amazing. He did an excellent job and I learned so much that I may be able to clear a blockage myself next time. I almost had this one figured out but lacked the tools which Rusty had to do the job right. I will use Ken Neyer plumbing again as I have in the past. They have taken care of 2 to emergencies for me now. Their response time was great. I know Ken and he runs a good business. I will ask for Rusty if we have another emergency in the future. I suggest you do the same as he will make sure your job is done and to your satisfaction.

Could not be more pleased with the job the guys performed at the Firehouse. Dustin and Mark worked quickly to find the problem and then called in Joey and John to assist with larger equipment. We called Ken Neyer Plumbing at 7am and they gave us a 1 hour window of when to expect someone. 8-9AM. It wasn't an emergency situation, so we didn't think they would get to us for a few days. Nope! They we're there less than an hour and a half after we called. The gentleman showed up around 8:20am, assessed the situation, and gave a fair estimate. We gave the go ahead and he got right to work. He was clean, friendly, and super efficient. We will 100% call Ken Neyer Plumbing for any future issues/installations.

Ken Neyer Plumbing came out to look at my main stack the next business day after my initial call. After the consultation, they got me scheduled within days. Jason showed up on time, was extremely professional, explained everything thoroughly, and the price was right. Very pleased with the service provided and would highly recommend.

I wanted to replace a 20-year-old propane water heater with a new electric unit. I had researched water heaters extensively and knew exactly what I wanted, and Neyer was more than happy to install that heater at a fair price. (Another reputable plumber had tried to push me toward a different water heater by telling me inaccurate specifications about the unit I wanted.) Everyone I interacted with at Neyer was genuinely courteous and professional.

The installation went perfectly even though their workspace was cramped and dark. They had to do some extra work rerouting the supply line for the bigger electric tank, but didn't charge extra for it. They even spray-tested the propane line for leaks after capping it off. The new heater looks great, all the connections are clean, and everything is dry. The installer (Ron) walked me through what he did and answered my questions, and now I have evenly heated water when I want it.

I'll note that I'm a pretty serious DIY'er: I've rebuilt cars from the ground up, refurbished homes from the roof down, done a lot of plumbing, and in fact ran the wiring and breaker for the new electric tank — the point is that even though I didn't install the water heater myself, I recognize quality workmanship and appreciate people and companies who take pride in their work. I'll also note that this was the first time I hired Neyer Plumbing, and I'm in no way connected to their business other than as a new customer — it was a great experience from start to finish.

I was very happy with Ken Neyer Plumbing... , from the phone call to set an appointment thru completion of the job....the 2 technicians were here within an hour of my phone call requesting a repairman to my home.... They checked out the issue,,, diagnosed it as just needing a washer inside the hose.. when the washer was installed, there was still a drip (slight , but still a drip).... they remedied the situation and made sure everything functioned before they left my home...... They were very knowledgeable , friendly,,,,,lDefiniely, would call them back for any of my plumbing needs.....

Jason came to my home and performed a jetting process in my sewer lines to remove all debris leading to sewer main and we were able to have a good look inside my piping underground in order to determine the condition of my system. Jason is professional and helped me determine what my issue was.

Christmas week my wife hit our gas meter and air conditioner with her car. (foot slipped off the brake) trying to find a plumber was almost impossible as most were responding to broken and frozen pipes it was the week the temps. dropped to -2 degrees. I explained that I had to have the pipe between the gas meter and the house replaced.
I explained that it was an emergency as I had NO heat and no hot water. To make a long story short they sent out Mark who fixed the problem and installed a new water heater. They went above and beyond, and I am extremely grateful that I am sitting in a warm house with hot water.

I had an appointment first thing in the morning but they showed up at lunch time. Then they skimped on the work to get an 8 hour job done in 4 hours. Quality of work was OK, but I didn't get everything done they agreed to do. They left without checking in with me so I couldn't get it resolved while they were still there. I only had a verbal quote, but they agreed they were supposed to do more. I asked for a partial refund instead of finishing the job which they did. I ended up getting what I paid for, but prefer getting was I asked for.

Had a water softener go bad after ~15+ years and they where able to come out and take care of the leak in the bypass and then once we decided to replace it with a new one where out quickly to take care of that as well. Rusty was awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable and walked me through the process . Left me with peace of mind, knowing that things were done right.

I have learned to really trust Neyer Plumbing. I couldn't be happier with their work. If they say something is needed, it is needed. They have recently completed a difficult plumbing job in my older house (on 8/20) and I would recommend them to everyone.

That said, I have been reading the reviews on this page and saw one in particular about how someone had a sewer line issue and how the big companies prey on customers who lack the knowledge of things like this. I already made an appointment with Neyer to take care of a sewer line issue I am having. They will be here Friday 8/23/19. Why waste time with a company who takes advantage of people (they know who they are). After calling Neyer Plumbing the past 14 years I have lived here, I'm sold on them. Will update!

My overall experience with KNP was exceptional. They went above and beyond to meet my needs in such a short matter of time. It started with Laura and Elizabeth in the service department. Their responsiveness and professionalism is exactly what any business would strive to have. Great representation of all the workers and team at KNP. Will and Renee did a phenomenal job replacing the toilet in such a respectful and timely manner. They described and explained all that had to be done, which made it clear and easy to understand. I’m more than satisfied with my whole experience with KNP. They’ve definitely earned my future business.

We had a backed up toilet that sent sewage in our finished basement. Neyer plumbing sent someone out within a hour. Will and he coworker were a life savers. They were able to get it unclogged and also found the problem. They were really knowledgeable and answered every question I had and walked me through everything they did. Thank you!

Russ and Mark came out to scope my basement floor drain after a storm water backup/flood to determine if a. the drain was functional and b. if there were any immediate concerns that would require my attention at any point between my house and the city lines. They were both courteous and professional and excellent to work with. They were honest in their responses to any and all questions I asked and made sure I understood what they were doing and what my next steps should be after discovering the cause of my drainage issues. 10/10 would work with them again and recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work of any magnitude.

They were at my door exactly at the time they said they would. There was a small glitch in the water heater install (something a previous contractor did incorrectly) Ken Neyer went above and beyond to resolve the issue!

Russ and Jay were very professional and worked efficiently. They clearly explained the problem and how to fix it. I would recommend them to others.

I had a sub pump fail and when the tech came out. He gave me a couple of options. One option was they would sell me the pump and install it for $500 or if I would provide my own pump they would do the install for $200. I opted to buy my own pump from a local hardware store for $150 they did the install for $200 which of course saved me $150. So their honesty and giving me different options has cemented a very positive reputation for me. I will definitely do business with them again in the future. As a side note the reason for the cost difference for the pump for buying it from them vs myself is if I bought it from them it comes with additional guarantees and if you want that piece of mind it might be worth it to you to buy it directly from them.
