Queen City Plumbing installed 4 new commercial toilets at my business. Both Bill and Fernando did a great job from the quoting stage all the way to installation. The company did a great job communicating throughout the process, which is hard to find these days. Highly recommend! We will be using this company again in the future.

My rating is an average of acceptable work performed, and an awful sales experience in the beginning. I feel I was sold and charged for services that were not needed. As with many plumbing repairs, this was an emergency and stressful. I feel I was told worst case information with the purpose of greatly overselling the job. In the end, the job was simple as it appeared, and the expensive services were not even performed. I have the feeling that maybe the sales are commission based, although that is just a feeling. Let me emphasize that I do not know that to be true. Anyway, I will not use Ben Franklin next time I need a plumber.

I was quite nervous because I had just bought my first house that was supposed to have all new plumbing, but things turned ugly the first time we tried to do a load of laundry. Although the plumbing was new it was installed incorrectly and technically illegally. Our gray water was emptying into a pit underground in our back yard. After having 3 different plumbers come look at the problem and assess, I quickly realized Chris with Mr. Rooter was the best choice. He investigated the situation thoroughly and was able to figure out the issue when the other plumbers assumed my cast iron pipe was the issue. To top it all off their team came and fixed the issue two days later on July 3rd of all days when no one else is open! They were also the cheapest option and courteous the entire time they were at my house. Chris and his team were in and out in less than a day and replaced all the drainage pipes under my house. They cleaned up once they were done and with the exceptions of the improvements you would never know they were here. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a plumber. I know I will be calling them again in the future when I undoubtably will need a plumber again! Overall great service, value, and people at this company!

Found these guys on Angie's List. We needed a basement sump pump and the main pressure valve to the house both replaced. They explained everything that needed done and they cleaned up after themselves . I would recommend this plumber to a friend or neighbor.

I hired IRV to inspect and clean my gas fireplace based upon my parents recommendation. IRV exceeding my expectations. Tony arrived on time. He asked several questions prior to beginning work and informed me of any findings throughout the job. He rearranged the logs because they were stacked incorrectly. Replaced the rocks left by the previous owner with embers, and cleaned the system. It is nice (and rare) to find a business whose employees are genuine, provide service with integrity, and are professional. If you have any doubts on whether you should use them, trust me... give them a try!

Excellent customer service! Our AC unit went out at 6pm on a Friday afternoon and they were at our house and working on the unit with in 30 minutes. Not only was he here in 30 minutes he had the parts the next day getting us back up and running. Other companies would have taken two day to get out to evaluate the issues and another two to three business days to get parts. If you want quality service do not hesitate and call them now! Thank you for you service.

John and his assistant did excellent work at a very fair price. I am going to be recommending them to everyone I know. I so appreciated his patience in drawing pictures and repeating concepts I didn't understand.

Tommy installed a light fixture in our kitchen. He did a great job and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

I called this company because I had issues with water in my tub and coming from the floor of my bathroom toilet. Along with other companies called, I decided to go with them because the rep on the phone said they we very honest people and do not charge for services that were not needed. This was their pitch for charging hourly vs flat rate. Seemed to make sense so I had them come out.
Now what did I actually get for my money? A whole bunch of nothing and a huge waste of time.
The plumber showed up at 2:50pm and had difficulty locating my sewage drain so he could snake it out. Mind you, he took the time out to view my neighbors yards and where their sewage drains were located. The sewage is also marked on the concrete, so finding it should have been all of 10 minutes. But, no....it took him 1 hour and 15 minutes to find the drain.
After he finally found it and popped open the drain, he informed me that this is a city issue and I should have called them, not the plumbing company. He also informed me that I would be charged for the full time he was there, even though some of the time he was smoking, walking in neighbors yards, and calling his office to get someone else to come help him look for the drain.
As you can imagine, I was upset to find that I had to pay almost $200 for him to do absolutely nothing. He did offer to snake the drain for me since he was already there, and since I still had the plumbing issues. I figured, why not? If I HAVE to pay him, at least I'd make him WORK for it. So, 25 minuteslater he tells me that his snake isn't long enough and that the city has to come do it afterall. Awesome!! What CAN this company actually do, besides rip people off?
So, as he is packing up getting ready to leave, I go inside and write the check for the time he was there. But wait....there's more. I'm hit with an additional 15 minute charge, which is right around $37, for his drive time!! WHAT???? This was never mentioned to me when I called in with my issue, nor was it brought up when he arrived. I went back inside and wrote another check. At this point, I just wanted this guy and his company GONE!!!

PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND GET A DIFFERENT PLUMBER!!!!

I have had to use a plumber before for this same issue and not only did they locate the drain in less time, but they were able to snake the drain, pack up, and be gone in less time than these theives took to do a bunch of nothing. I will NEVER use this company again!

Very satisfied customer. Scheduled for the next day. Our tech Marcus arrived promptly and resolved the problem—the bathtub is now draining properly. Not too expensive.

Excellent experience. Workers were professional and explained what they were doing. They listened to the concerns I had and spent time making sure the heat was flowing evenly throughout the house. They checked every vent in my home.

They cleaned up when they were finished and let me know to call if I had any further concerns.
I recommend them to anyone having problems with their heat and air.

They always come throug. The technician came out the same day we called and fixed the problem for free (under the warranty). Tony is an expert in his field who is also personable and helpful. It was a pleasure to work with them. A+

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and on time! Terry Lucky did an outstanding job with doing a through diagnostic of my gas, water heater lines in my home. I could have been more happier with the level of expertise and professional of his industry knowledge. I will forever be a Morris Jenkins customer because of the level of care he has taken with putting me at ease and answering all the questions related to the work that needed to take place within my home to get it back and running safely.

Michael worked on my projects electrical meter , I called and within a couple hours he was out and working on the project. There was not much information at hand to give prior but still he was prepared and had the job done within the estimated time. Thank you I will definitely be using the same electricians again.

I had a great experience with M.D. Plumbing and Mechanical. Working with Courtney on the front end and with both Travis and Zachary on the site doing the work, they were very friendly and professional.

I'm glad I used them as their technology and equipment allowed for only two holes in my front yard to fix a water line vs. trenching and making a mess of my front yard.

This guy is extremely rude and unprofessional. He cursed my wife out for no apparent reason. I don't know if he was drunk when he answered the phone but he sounded like he may have been intoxicated. Maybe he was just having a bad day but his attitude is totally unacceptable. I would recommend staying away from this guy. He seems like a real hot head.

J&E was sent through Home Warranty. He was rude and very short. He replaced coupler. Smelled gas was told it was because pilot was lit. It will pass. Long story short. It never passed. Piedmont gas was called and informed me that when coupler is replaced. The value clamp should have been checked to make sure there was a seal. I contacted J&E and he disagreed and refused to return and correct the issue. This could have ended horribly. Don’t waste your time and money with this company!!
