Best Pipes And Drains in Charlotte NC

They gave me an estimate of 7500 to repair a leak!!! I called another plumber and he came and made the repair and said everything else looked good and charged me 200 for the repair. I called Benjamin Franklin back and the manager was supposed to call me back the same day and that has been more than 2 weeks ago and of course...no call back!!!! Huge difference between 7,500 dollars and 200 dollars!!!!! I hope you reading this didn't have the same experience!!!

Mike came out with haste when a landscaper hit our water main. He gave us a great price for the services needed. Even after having to run back to the warehouse for the proper materials, the entire job was done in under an hour. Quick fix for such a big job that could be a huge problem. He totally saved the day and I couldn’t be happier with the work, the responsive, and the experience in general.

Great job and a wonderful crew. Tankless heater is great! I will use Pete and Mr Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

From Ziggy at the call center to Jeff the plumber And Mark with remediation, they were all excellent. Showed up within an hour of calling. I had a toilet malfunction and flood on second floor leaking through ceiling to downstairs. They diagnosed the issue and started an insurance claim for me. Their fast service probably prevented a lot more damage. True professionals.

Looked online and said open 5-8, but just the park was open, no rides, been several times to try to ride things but never open

We had a great experience with this company. The technician name was Duane smith and he was very helpful with any questions or issue he had. They were fast in sending a technician out to see what the problem was and it is greatly appreciated.

I'm so thankful to Charlotte Plumbing & Repair. I like to think I'm pretty independent and I usually hate asking for help, but it felt good having them there looking out for me. My son put a load of laundry in the machine before he left for school and I woke up to find water pouring through my 1st-floor ceiling. I called Charlotte Plumbing & Repair, they came quickly, assessed the situation, repaired it and charged me a fair price. I really felt like they had my back and would highly recommend them!

Be prepared to Pay More! $225 per visit no matter what service is provided. The plumber Charles was wonderful and here for less than 30 minute to change a hose on the washer. I was shocked at the $250 charge! Way more expensive than other services. I will not use them again!

Very friendly and quick response when our outdoor spigots were leaking after thawing from freezing.

Daniel was fantastic. He quickly identified the issue with our AC unit. He walked me through the details and then continued a thorough inspection to make sure everything else was working properly. I had a lot of questions throughout the process and he was knowledgeable, patient, and taught me some things to do as a homeowner with our unit. He listened and asked some probing questions which helped us find additional things we could to improve our system. Thanks Daniel!

UPDATED REVIEW: I wrote the review at the bottom of this page 3 years ago from the heart! I write this update today, 06/01/2023, with the same level of passion!

The drain line from the water softener installed by Fatman. as noted below, separated at a barbed connector and flooded my newly encapsulated crawlspace. Once the source of the issue was determined, I called Fatman and requested assistance. Service Tech - Bobby was brought on the line and he immediately started with excuses.. including confusing my home with another that he claimed to have leaking copper water lines. The scheduler indicated a supervisor - Brian would be coming out the same afternoon to evaluate the problem. She called back approx 30 mins later to confirm Brian would come out in the afternoon, but time was unknown... I thanked her again for her assistance and noted I had cancelled afternoon plans and would be home waiting until Brian arrived.

Bobby arrives approx 30 mins later and after discussing an issue with an employee on his cell phone, joins me in the crawlspace I had already entered to wait for him. Upon viewing the flooded space and the drain line hanging from the floor joists, he notes I've never seen one blow out like that! Then he starts to name off parts needed for repair and noted that it's out of warranty and that I would be charged for the drain line repair. He also advised that Fatman accepted no responsibility for the flooding and that I could call a restoration company for address the water removal.

Given my prior experience with Fatman staff during water heater installation and the water softener, I anticipated and expected a higher level of customer service... I expected a higher level of goodwill from the company!

I am disappointed in this local service provider and am now searching for a new plumbing company to service my future needs. I no longer recommend Fatman for any one that expects a company to stand behind their workmanship.

Wow! I've been a homeowner for over 40 years and never had the customer service from a plumbing company like I received from FATman for installation of a water heater and water softener!

Armed with recommendations from friends and neighbors, I called and Josh came out to provide a timely and reasonable quote with great advice and no pressure. Josh and other team members returned for the installation and provided exceptional customer service and a top quality installation! Thank you gentlemen for a job well done!

I highly recommend FATman for any plumbing need and will certainly call them again myself... but I hope it's a long time off! :-)

Awesome experience w/ Drain O.K. today. Quick response to my call, fair prices, extremely friendly + knowledgeable!

Called them in for replacement of water heater in attic. Told them on the phone two days earlier that my attic has no ladder or stair access, and they would have to bring in their own ladder. They told me they would send two guys with their own ladder so they can lift water heater into attic and quoted me approximately $1,900 to $2,000. Tech came two days later and quoted me $4,000 for replacement. Nothing changed in the situation, and he was unaware they the office had quoted me $1,900 - $2,000.... so he basically tried to rip us off... Once I told him what their office had quoted me, he got very defensive and couldn't really explain why the price had doubled. Said that he would need 3-4 guys and it would take all day”. I of-course did not use them…Called another plumbing service (A-1) and they took care of replacement and haul away for less than $1,900 with two guys and were finished in 3 hours....
