We had South End connect our home to the city sewer tap along our street and ‘retire’ our septic tank system. James walked through the details with us and made sure all our preferences were honored when work was done. Austin and Jared were very polite and new what they were doing from start to finish. The rainy weather did not line well with getting the work done as quickly as we all wanted but they stayed on top of the job to completion. We were very pleased with their work and plan on using their services in the future. Thanks!

We were in the process of selling our home and a loose toilet was reported on our inspection report. We called South End Plumbing in the morning, and they had a service technician to us within three hours the same day. The technician, Chad, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He arrived right on time, thoroughly inspected the toilet requiring repairs, and walked us through our options in terms of repairing the toilet. Chad was detailed in the work and repairs performed and even took the time to explain to us potential issues or signs to look for in the future. This was our first time using South End Plumbing, and we could not have been more pleased in our decision to utilize their services. The team is top notch, from the service center scheduling, to the on-site technician. We highly recommend South End Plumbing and will undoubtedly continue to use them for our plumbing needs in the future.

I contacted South End plumbing the day after Christmas due to having a busted pipe and no hot water. Christopher arrived, assessed the situation, and repaired our broken pipe within 2 hours. Christopher was super professional and even explained the situation in detail. I highly recommend using these guys!

Also, I should mention that they installed our new tankless hot water this year as well and did a great job.

Chad and Mike worked on my sewer repair over two days for several hours each day. It was a huge job. They were very knowledgeable and answered every question. They showed me the work and damage when I asked and had patience and caring towards the job. They gave options for the services, as well. I live in South Charlotte and this will definitely be my new neighborhood plumber. I was very impressed.

I noticed a small leak on the floor outside my shower on a Sunday. I submitted an online request for service and within minutes received a call to schedule service. I scheduled the service for Monday morning and Robert called before heading my way that morning. Robert was professional and explained their inspection and billing process before starting the inspection and answered my questions regarding same.

Robert inspected the leak and explained to me where the water was coming from, the necessary repair and the written estimate which I thought was reasonable.

Robert had me inspect the finished work and gave me some tips on keeping the bathroom faucets working properly to avoid any issues.

All in all I was very pleased with their professionalism, work quality and pricing. I will be calling South End Plumbing in the future for any plumbing issues!

Be aware of minimum charges not disclosed upfront! I called to setup an appointment to replace my house filter in my crawl space and to look at my kitchen sink due to low pressure. I was told there was no service fee, and the estimate was free. However, when they came out, the worker simply started and completed the work without notification of what the charges would be. I was shocked to see the bill for $255 when it only took 20 minutes, and I even provided the filter. I was told later the $255 is the minimum fee for work performed. I sure wish this was told to me upfront as the bill was 2-3 times the cost of the same work I had done by other companies in the past. The fee was way too high for the minor work completed and it was not disclosed upfront!

This company came recommended to me I discovered a leaking toilet on a Friday evening. When reached they were willing to come that night but I had the water off and waited til the next morning. Austin came he was so professional, pleasant , made an excellent repair quickly and clean his whole area. Then made sure my toilet was working proper before leaving I give him 5 stars plus , plus., plus Karon Hauch

Will definitely be calling these guys out again and requesting that SAM come back! I know nothing about garbage disposals or plumbing. Sam arrived in time was very quick. He educated on the issue and the best way to get it fixed. After I approved the estimate given to me he got right to work. I work from home so even with all the chaos of everyone being here he was able to get my issue fixed! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

Sam & Calvin recently installed a new water heater for my family. Awesome customer service! Communicated well and all around excellent experience. I highly recommend South End.

UPDATE: Today is April 2nd and the job is still incomplete but much further along and hopefully very close to completion. As I type this there is a gentlemen patching the holes in the sheetrock in the garage. South End did show up the next morning three hours late and completely reworked the whole project. Jacob worked all day and most of the following day to make sure that everything was done correctly. I am very much pleased with Jacob's work and wish he had been sent out the first time. The City Inspector came back out and failed the project again. I haven't heard from Southend Plumbing since...

Original Post:
I hired Southend Plumbing on Jan 6th 2021, today is March 8th 2021 and my job is still incomplete.

1/6: Scheduled to start work between 8am and 2pm. No one showed up or called us. we called them at 1:30 to find out the permit never came in and they would come out the following morning.

1/7: They showed up on time and started digging in my front yard without the lines being marked. 15 minutes in, they cut the main AT&T line for my entire neighborhood. This was a whole other headache that took 6 weeks to resolve. They continued working and replaced the entire water line while i was at work. My wife paid them and they left saying they would be back after an inspector came out and approved the work, so they could complete the job. (See Pictures or poor quality work provided)

1/8: Someone from Southend Plumbing came out i believe the project manager. He poked around took some pictures and left.

1/13: Called Southend Plumbing to check on status of repairs, was told we were waiting on the city to inspect.

2/1: Called Southend Plumbing again to check status of repairs and again was told we were waiting on the city to inspect.

2/2: City Inspector shows up while i am running errands and tells us he will needed to come back out to inspect the inside work done but that southend plumbing had approval to return and bury the water lines. The inspector also informed us that Southend Plumbing didnt file the paperwork for inspection until 2/1. We called Southend to schedule for them to come out and bury the water line on 2/4.

2/4: Southend Plumbing actually called us to reschedule work to 2/9 due to heavy rain.

2/9: Southend Plumbing showed up while we were not there and buried the water line leaving our yard a hot mess.

2/22: Contacted the city about reinspection and was told that Southend plumbing needed to file the correct paperwork for reinspection.

2/26: Called Southend plumbing to find out they have marked our repairs as complete in their system. I asked to speak to a manager about everything and was told that he was out of the office for the weekend but that he would call me first thing 3/1.

3/1: I called southend plumbing after not hearing from the manager to find out he was out of the office and would call me 3/2.

3/2: James from Southend calls me. He tells me he was displeased with all the pictures that i sent him and he would being coming out the next morning with a crew to fix things and schedule the rest of the inspection.

3/3: Southend Crew shows up with Stan(not James) and begins to fix my front yard. Southend never checked out the rest of the job, just the front yard.

3/4: City inspector shows up to reinspect the work. No big surprise to me but it didn't pass inspection. Stan shows back up at my house about 30 minutes after it failed inspection. We discuss the poor quality of work and Stan reassures me that someone will come out and rerun the water line and fix all the code violations. Stan calls me back later that day to let me know that the crew would be out the next morning to fix everything.

3/5: No one shows up. No one calls. NOTHING.

3/8: I called Stan to ask what's going on. He was surprised the job was still not done and informs me that they had scheduled to come out today at 2pm without communicating with me. Guess what no one showed up AGAIN... no one called AGAIN... I called them at 4:30 and asked where they were at and was told they would come out tomorrow morning.

Mike and Justin were competent and time-efficient. They were friendly but focused, resulting in real help that could have been overcharged easily. But these two were honest -- as were the other South End plumbers we worked with a couple of years ago. South End has earned our strongest endorsement, and Mike & Justin are our faves now!

I recently contacted South End Plumbing to upgrade my existing hot water heater to a tankless system. Within a day or so Calvin and Sam arrived and got right to work. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Over all it was a great experience and I would recommend these two any day!

* Below this updated March 24, 2023 review, I am not deleting the very positive review I first wrote after they installed a brand new toilet on March 1. It describes my really excellent experience with them every step of the way with the March 1 installation.

I assumed I would receive the same excellent help when I phoned them today at 7:45 AM to inform them that the same new toilet suddenly and inexplicably quit working last night, and so I needed a service visit to figure out why.
Not so.

As always, the staff assisting me on the phone was very professional. (Miranda. Also professional and futilely helpful today, Cayden and Haley) She said she would schedule me for the first available service call, which was unfortunately between 5pm and 8 pm today. I then rearranged my Friday evening plans to accommodate this late window, just grateful for it since I meanwhile have had no working toilet since last night.

Which isn’t now a pretty picture at 8:55 pm, and I am still just awaiting the promised plumber’s call with a 30 mins eta.

I had phoned at 4:45 pm for an update and was told someone would be on their way soon. By 7:45 pm, still with no plumber call nor service manager or assistant call at any point in the 5-8 pm window to inform me of and apologize for the delay, I phoned and was told they would be coming when possible later. I also just went on antibiotics for a dental infection and thus am very tired and want to go to bed but must wait for who knows how much longer before the plumber can just begin to assess the problem.

It is now 9 pm and I am still waiting for just the “30 mins out call”. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and frustrated.

Ok. After 9 pm, I received the only call yet to inform me they now can’t come until early tomorrow morning, which very inconveniently forces me to reschedule my plans) but better than nothing. The additional complaint is that I also sat here all evening, waiting for their repeatedly promised visit, only to learn their word like their scheduled appointment is unreliable and at my wasted expense of much time and trust.

Unless they somehow make it right, I will not be doing business with them again and am very disappointed after thinking I had found a great plumbing company for a number of plumbing projects I need this year, for which they’ve given me written estimates and I planned to hired them to do as soon as I can prioritize the funds.

I had an excellent experience with the employees that helped me, particularly Julie the scheduler, Tony the installer and Cody the estimator. Each of them gave me exceptional service and I am grateful. I also appreciated receiving the first service, the estimate, with no trip fee or other fee, especially impressive being a same day trip for my emergency call on a Sunday.

Excellent service from a professional company. My technician Waide Redwood was very prompt and professional. I have had issues with repairs for rental property in the past. He understood the situation and communicated throughout the process and provided A++ service.

Yesterday, my wife came home to discover water dripping from the drywall in our garage. We called South End Plumbing and within an hour, Mike arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. There was water leaking from around the toilet and the shower drain. The next day, Mike arrived, removed the old toilet & installed the new one. He also replaced the seal in the shower drain and within an hour or so, the leaking was stopped.

Mike was responsive, professional, & friendly. I recommend him and South End Plumbing without reservation.

Called for a tankless heater that wasn’t working. Tony figured out the problem and was maybe the nicest person I have ever met. I had them come back out this week to flush my water heater and Tony showed back up! Great service and organization!

Had my whole house re-piped by SEP. Cost was over $10,000. Six months later I now have a leak in the kitchen. Workers did not clean up after themselves. Not professional workers. I now have been stood up by them for the repair in the kitchen. They called to early and now won't return phone call. Saddened and disappointed with SEP. Shame.

Great experience! Sam was very nice.. very professional, got the job done in a timely manner. All your plumbing needs he is your man.. Will use again!!

Issue was the hot water was running out when a family of five takes a shower,
James suggested we go with a tankless so that running out of hot water will never be an issue because the tankless will always provide hot water with four females in the house there will not be yelling at one another!!
Great job was done and Robert..needs to give James a raise for all of his knowledge and explanation of details.

The technician arrived one hour late to give me an estimate for a tankless gas water heater. It would replace my tank gas water heater located in the garage.
The estimate was about 60% higher than other estimate and it didn’t have the name and the model number of the proposed tankless water heater or even the size of it.
It was really unexpected surprise for me as a first time customer to contact them!

Sam came out and installed a new waste drain assembly and took out my garbage disposal. Was very clean and professional. He did an EXCELLENT job. Very good employee. 10/10

Had a great experience with them from start to finish. We had an issue with our water heater. It was older so knew it was time to replace. The team at this place came our quickly to assess our old heater and quickly upgraded us to the new ones that heat up quickly. James was especially helpful at explaining how the new system works and it’s benefits. The guys that came out were professional and polite. They came into our home and worked quickly. We really thought it would take longer than it did. They also did a great job at leaving everything better than when they started. Also, not what we were expecting. My Experience with South End could not have been more perfect! Renee and Julie were friendly, professional and well-informed when I called to request my free estimate. Got an appointment the very next day, received a call 30 minutes prior to arrival from Vince, who explained the problem which was causing a leaky kitchen faucet. I was given a reasonable estimate for replacement of parts and labor. He completed the job that same day, and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I will happily recommend South End to all who desire reliable, fair-priced services, delivered by professional and pleasant staff.

South End was a life saver! We tried two other plumbers for emergency service and Stan was there within 40 minutes. Although our sewer pipe couldn’t be fixed immediately, he got us sorted for the night. Austin and Jared replaced our sewer pipe within two days and put down seed and straw. This is the first time we've ever experienced major home damage. Multiple pipes were damaged and we had water in multiple rooms. Bobby took great care of us the pricing was fair and they got all the pipes replaced in two days.

They have a warranty on their work and they come back out asap if you need something. 10/10 will be calling them back out when we add plumbing to the mother in law sweet we're planing later on down the road.

Confirmed what the problem was, ordered part, fixed the heater. All done right on the time they promised. Sydney, the technician, was excellent.

Nobody came back to reconnect anything. This is the state my laundry room was left in. Note - the plumber connected the hot/cold hoses backwards.

Price gougers! They take advantage of home owners lack of knowledge. After setting up a free inspection/quote. Wanted $3,500.00 to waterjet house pluming. Did not give an estimate. Told me verbally and told he to phone the service person directly not the company. I'm pretty sure this price is 3 to 4 times the average price.

My son recently purchased on Condo in the 4th Ward, my husband and I were in town to help him move in and to get a toilet and water heater replaced. It is a long story but due to a leak that the HOA was responsible for it delayed Tony from South End plumbing from getting started on the water heater. He was there until 9 pm! He is wonderful! Woke up to a wet garage floor and water heater was leaking. Called South End Plumbing and by the end of the day I had my tank water heater removed and a tankless water heater installed. I was going out of town the next day and they saved me of worries and coming home to a mess. They are great and will definitely give them all my plumbing business from now on!

Our house had the water pipe leaking under the garage and no water inside the house. We called South End Plumbing and Stan stopped by to evaluate the situation and explained to us how to do the repair work with minimum breakout on the outside sidewalk. There were many utility wires under the ground. Tyler and David worked very hard and pay attention in details about all kinds of lines and wires underground. Due to this repair involves lots of work, they temporary got us to use the water on the first day. On the second day, they came out again and continue to work on the repair work and clean up the affected lawn area and covered the lawn with straws. Tyler and David did a very good job and we were very happy about their works. Thank you Tyler, David, and Stan!

Late Sunday night the outside faucet broke off in the crawl space. Home warranty called and water shut off to the house. Next day, no action had been taken by the warrant office. I contacted South End Plumbing. Staff was great from the front office to the repairman. Quality of work was great. The only problem I have is the repair cost. I am a retired US Marine and currently working as a front line Respiratory Therapist at the hospital. The cost was $548! I feel that the cost of repair was pretty steep. I would have repaired it myself but I was scheduled for the next 4 days at the hospital. I would still use South End Plumbing again.

The Salesperson And technicians were great. They analyzed my problem and looked for cost effective solution. They were easy to reach, got me on the schedule quickly and did a great job of mitigating the dust and debris from this messy job inside my home.
These guys really care about the customer by being honest and fair.

I am a huge fan. I called two other plumbers for some simple repairs and neither one called me back. I called South End this morning and they sent out Mike this afternoon. I had two loose toilets and a clogged drain and he took care of it for a nominal fee. Mike was a great guy and very helpful. They are my plumbers now and I am going to put them in our HOA database with 5 stars.

Super friendly when getting a quote, but NEVER actually showed up to perform the work when scheduled (also never called to let us know that our appointment had been pushed to another day). They assured that they would make the RESCHEDULED appointment multiple times and NEVER SHOWED (or bothered to call) a second time. Two interrupted days of work and no better off than before calling South End Plumbing. Go anywhere else!!

We had a broken handle in our shower. South End was able to get me scheduled immediately. Robert was professional, and solved our problem. So nice to work with; I will definitely use South End Plumbing and request Robert again!

South End replaced my leaky water main and helped me choose and then installed a replacement for my failing, out-of-date water heater. I will definitely use South End Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs. They are professionals and made the process painless. Thank you Stan.

I called Southend plumbing after paying $500 dollars to another plumbing company (ER plumbing) who only capped the leaking pipe and stated that they would have to remove my garden tub to actually fix the leak. I was concerned with the amount they had already charged without actually fixing anything so I called Southend. Larry came out but wasn't able to see the issue since the line had been capped so he had to reopen the line (undo the work ER plumbing did) to see the problem. Larry identified the problem and was able to fix it without removing my tub or cutting anymore holes in my wall! AND he did all of that work for less than the price they quoted to repair the line (not including their charge to remove the tub and). Southend Plumbing undid the work that ER plumbing did and then fixed the problem for only $600! I wish I had called them from the beginning--I wouldn't have thrown $500 away on ER plumbing.

Also, Larry was very professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend them!!!'

We had a supply line to our kitchen faucet break. We called South End Plumbing and they were able to get a technician over within a few hours. He provided a free assessment and estimate, which included ordering a replacement line. Because we have a Moen set, the part was covered by warranty but of course we did pay for the labor. He was able to get the new line the next day and came back to install it. Great response, fast service, and we can highly recommend them!

After another plumber failed twice to unclog my kitchen sink, I called South End Plumbing for their assistance. They arrived the next day to assess my issues. After repairing two gas leaks and setting up a fan to help remove the natural gas fumes, they returned the next day to replace my cast iron waste plumbing.
I fully recommend South End for your plumbing needs. They exceeded my expectations in all they did.

Stan He came 30 minutes we called, very honest, listen what I said and asked me what I needed to be done. Got started on fixing the problem. I had Morris Jenkins at first but wasn't satisfied with their attitude or price. Glad we found S.E.P. If I waited to write my review it would have been not happy. Funny how people get after they get your money. They went from nice to disrespectful.I would give a ONE STAR NOW.

We had James Maples come out to inspect the electrical in our newly purchased home as well as address one electrical concern we already knew about. He was very professional, kind, and transparent! Would recommend this business and will be saving their information for the future!

We had a new disposal (we self-installed) that caused leaking in our sink/pipes. Larry came in and diagnosed the issue quickly, politely, and took the time to educate me and explain how it happened. He also told me what to do in the future to prevent other issues. Thanks, Larry! You were awesome!

I had a conversion done by SEP from septic to city sewer line in May 2021. As far as I know they were paid in full promptly as agreed and there were no issues expressed either from them or by me.

Today I called to schedule traditional plumbing services, e.g, toilet running/not running service, shower fixture repair/replacement, and gas stove supply line connection and I was made to feel like I was being confused with someone who had walked out of a restaurant without paying last week and was returning today expecting not to be recognized!

I was asked if I could pay immediately upon service completion and I said YES first BEFORE (1) referring Renee to my previous transaction history and (2) inquiring if that blunt payment assurance was sought from every inquiry before they even heard what services were to be requested? Renee replied YES and brought Miranda (Cust Serv Mgr) on the line who also answered YES. It soon became clear to me that my business was not desired so after requesting an explanation and not being told why 2 or 3 times, I accepted that we now BOTH didn't want to do business with each other!

If a business's attitude is important to you in your vendor selection process as it is to me, ... like me, you might want to think twice about who you bless your future business with!

Bobby did an outstanding job. He was quite professional and did not mind getting a little dirty by crawling under my house to help diagnose my problem. I tried South End because I was not happy with the last plumber I used. I have found new plumbers, and will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Stan came over exactly on time today to give me an estimate on running a gas line for a new stove. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I appreciate the information he shared with me and felt he had my best interest in mind.

As a single working mom waking up to find a clogged potty before work was not a great way to start my Monday. After several attempts to fix it myself I decided to just spend the money required to have it unclogged professionally. I called South End about 10 minutes until their listed closing time. The woman I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. She assured me that someone would be there between five and eight which seemed like a big window. But I got a call around 5 o'clock saying that they were already on their way. When the two gentlemen arrived they were polite and courteous, fixed the problem within about 30 seconds, and then told me there was no charge. This left me free to have the time to make dinner for my boys and didn't put a dent in my budget as I thought it might. I can't thank them enough for the peace of mind, excellent service, and compassion! It's rare you find that these days.

I want to thank South End Plumbing for coming out yesterday to fix my water leak. The technician. Larry Robinson was very professional and knowledgeable. I will use this company again for any issues.

Kody arrived within the specified time to give us an assessment and estimate for the replacement of a leaking PRV valve in the garage. He didn't have the part with him but returned promptly the next morning to do the job. He was very professional and courteous and completed the repairs on time.

Jim and Mike were professional, personable, thorough, and did a great job. Had one small drip that we didn't find until after the install was complete. Jim responded the next day and made it right in no time flat. The new system works perfectly, and I am one extremely happy and impressed customer.

Barry was awesome. Fast and knowledgeable. Looked at our problem and came back to fix it the next morning. Called both times to let me know he was on the way. Helped get the HVAC tech here quickly to fix a different issue we had as well. I would definitely recommend Southend Plumbing.

I have my heat / air conditioner serviced twice a year. Blake does an excellent job. He’s professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient. I will call South End for all my AC and heating needs.

Called South End for service, they scheduled two appointments and never came to either one. One was scheduled for Sunday, Sept 4th between 4pm-7pm. They called at 8:45pm to say they had and emergency, but could still come out that night. I said it was too late and was given an appointment for the next day, Monday, Sept 5th between 8-11am. They never showed up and never called. Not very professional.

Had plumbing issues in my parents bathroom. Another setback was they only have only one bathroom. Barry Funderburk came out and installed shutoff valves to the bathroom and was able to turn the water on to the rest of the house while he completed the initial job that needed fixing. His work is top notch and will definitely call South End Plumbing again.

They (Tony and John) had to dig into my concrete to relocate the drain to the left of where it was located. They were awesome !!! They keep the dirt to a minimum and helped me cover everything. I can’t say enough about how great they were. They then set my garden tub into it’s space. John even found my cat, Baylee when we thought he had gotten out of the house. He heard a small noise and when he looked behind a mirror on the floor, Baylee was behind it. South End came on a Friday afternoon to replace my broken water heater with a new tankless water heater. I could find no one that would come out on a Friday afternoon. Not only did they show up, their two employees, Jim and Mike, worked nonstop in a very hot attic the entire afternoon removing my old water heater and installing the new tankless water heater. My toilet was very old and running on its own. It also sat low to the floor so I had to use a booster seat due to my bad knees. Robert from South End Plumbing came out to my house in Kannapolis, recommended replacing the toilet with a more efficient, high seating model and gave me a free quote. There was no pressure from him at all. When I decided to replace it, he was quick to come out and did the job quickly and professionally. Several days later, I had a minor issue, so he came back the next day and took care of it. He was very knowledgeable and gave me good recommendations and suggestions in the care of my new toilet. I would definitely use South End again.

South End Plumbing did an outstanding job of informing and making sure I got the right repair. First off no service call charge unheard of nowadays. They were prompt, responsive and had it up and running next day as they replaced my regulator for the house. Can’t say enough and on top off that very reasonable pricing.

My kitchen faucet stopped working suddenly, and the water was leaking under my sink. I called South End Plumbing, and I am very happy I did. Robert called when he was on the way, and he arrived in a timely manner. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He replaced the 20-year-old faucet and sprayer, and made sure there were no leaks. Robert was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the job he did. I will call South End Plumbing for all my plumbing needs - as far as I am concerned they are the ONLY plumbers to call.

Southend took great care of us in a real emergency on a Sunday. Only complaint is the big water jet machine they used put a 8 inch wide 8 inch deep 8 foot long rut in my yard where the tire missed the driveway. Otherwise very satisfied. Hope they come out and fix the rut!!!!

It’s never a good thing when you have to call a plumber, but South End Plumbing professionals make the experience as painless as possible! The office staff dispatching the repair people are very friendly and sympathetic, and the repairmen we dealt with were so thorough. Specifically, Robert was terrific. Took his time to inspect all issues and explain the root of the problem. He was courteous when entering the home, wearing booties and a mask. The companies overall aesthetic and cleanliness from their trucks to the equipment they use is also reassuring that they take pride in their trade. We have used South End on two separate occasions and will definitely call them again with any future plumbing needs.

This is an absolutely fantastic company. I called them on a Saturday after hitting a conduit line near the pool and they came out quickly. The professionalism from the office was great, and the person that came out (Don) was a breath of fresh air when dealing with repairs. He actually figured out that it was an electrical issue and offered all the ways that it could be fixed. He mentioned I could call the office and get the name of a good electrician. I called the office and the lady was very helpful and gave the information quickly.

I ended up not needing South End Plumbing, but they went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. This is few and far between in today's world and I can't thank them enough. Although I did not use them this time, there is no question who I will call anytime I need plumbing services.

The shower needed a new cartridge as it was leaking. Promptly replaced the cartridge and put the shower back together. Checked my guest bathroom (house built in 1994) and discovered it was leaking as well. Very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong and what was needed for the repair. I would use them in the future for any plumbing issues.

In the ten years owning our home, we had never needed to contact a plumbing service. Our water bill sky rocketed and I noticed some water puddling in the front lawn. After The City came out and took a look, we then contacted South End Plumbing regarding a possible water service line leak somewhere between the house and the water meter. The receptionist that took my call was very friendly she answered all my questions. She was able to dispatch Don and Phillip M. to my home the next day to conduct an inspection and estimate. They took time and answered all my questions. The work included a warranty for parts and labor. Phillip was very thorough and responsive. We did encounter one set back and that was due to some very bad weather. I really appreciate Phillips hard work and professionalism despite the additional issues the weather might have caused him and South End Plumbing. Thank you to Phillip and South End!

We were a new customer with a small leak on a pipe in the crawlspace. We first contacted South End Plumbing just before 11am. By 3pm that same day the technician was at our house. The phone operator and technicians were very professional. They provided us a quote prior to doing the service. We would recommend South End Plumbing and I tend to use them for our future plumbing needs.

I own a business with multiple buildings so there are inevitable plumbing issues that come up. I had my first (very good) experience with South End last year and when I called South End again for this recent ‘emergency,’ Renee, who answered the phone, was super helpful and worked her magic to get me someone asap. Robert actually arrived earlier than the estimated time because he had been told that it was an emergency. He remembered his work there from last year on a different office suite. The problem was actually fixed by the handy tenant just as Robert arrived, but Robert looked at it anyway and said everything was working fine now and gave me a free estimate for a more permanent fix if the problem arose again. Robert also took notes for reference on this problem for future visits. South End is definitely our new go-to plumber for the entire Office Park. Thank you!

Absolutely unreliable, a job that should take 2 weeks at the most, is turning into 5 weeks and counting! You are dealing with multiple people that play the hot potato game and the only answer they have (if they ever pick up the phone or answer a text) is tomorrow, and tomorrow is tomorrow again, I have to call every day to find out if somebody was going to show up, what a joke!
One star because they came to do the estimate and that was quick, after I paid them 75% they were absent.
I do not recommend this company at all!

The reception at this company is has no idea what customer service is. Your receptionist likes to blame customers for her own mess up. From what I over heard from a phone conversation, I won’t even consider using this company. Called them to come out and fix a Water leak in my backyard. I found the leak myself, dug the area out, turned off the water, prepped and cleaned the pipes all before the technician finally showed up to my home. When the technician finally got here he was extremely unprofessional, un prepared and had a horrible attitude. He proceeded to tell me that it would be $850 to fix 2 fittings and 6 inches of 1 inch pipe that again had already been dug out and prepped. Max $15 worth of parts and no more than an hour labor. I get that it was Saturday but that is just pure taking advantage of people. I asked for a written estimate, and instead of coming back out to hand it to me In person and try and earn my business he just left and emailed me a very poorly written estimate for $802 hours later. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. Unbelievable

Bobby came by sooner than anticipated and figured out the issue with my disposal very quickly. It turns out that it was actually a clog and not the disposal. He cleared the clog with ease and even gave me a few tips on how to avoid the issue in the future. Great service and was incredibly friendly! I will certainly use them again in the future.

Sewage was backing up into my home and I needed someone fast. They were very quick to get here and fix the problem. Cody was very professional and did a quality job in a timely fashion. South End Plumbing was a life saver for me today! Thank you so much!!! :-)

Do not use this company if you want your work done properly. I hired these guys to install new plumbing throughout the home and it FAILED INSPECTION 3 TIMES!!! Last tech was sent out to correct the problems and he has no clue what needed to be done. The list provided to him was almost non ineligible. Everytime they come out its a half done job. Management is barely available and response time is lackluster at best.

I had a gas leak in a pipe leading to the water heater. Called South End at 8:30am on a Saturday, and Phillip arrived on-time (early in fact) at 10:30am. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and up-front. He replaced the pipe that was leaking in a timely manner and with the quality I would expect. I would use South End again and would recommend them.

I contacted South End Plumbing because of their free estimates and free service call. Stan came out on his day off to survey the issue, and came up with a game plan. The main water line coming into my house from the water meter was cracked and leaking. The next day, James assembled a crew consisting of Jeff, Billy, and Matt. They were able to quickly come out, replace the line, and get my family running water the same day. Quick, professional, and fair priced. I'll be doing business with South End Plumbing again!

We have used South End Plumbing twice now and had amazing experiences both times! First we had to get our grinder pump repaired the day after we moved in and they saved the day. Then we had to rerun the gas line to our fireplace and Austin was so great. I love working with them, but hopefully nothing else breaks and we won't have to see them for a few more years:)

A few weeks ago, I called Southend to get someone to come out and give me an estimate for a clogged sink.....Robert Allen came out, quoted a price and I gave him the go ahead...

.He was on time and worked for five solid hours on this clog which was way down the pipes.

He never stopped and was totally focused on getting them clear..

Robert Allen, technician, was very Professional and Knowledgeable. He called to let me know when he was arriving and arrived on time. He had an id badge, shoe covering and wore a mask. He looked at the shower head that I wanted replaced, gave me an estimate, after I accepted the estimate completed the job efficiently and in a timely matter. I am very pleased with his work and will recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for a plumber!

We had South End Plumbing come out today to look at a leak in our ceiling. Bobby was responsive, professional, straight to the point, and clearly knowledgeable. A good value and even better service. Would highly recommend them!

I am interested in a thankless water heater. The rep was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. My rating is based on the fact that everything, including the estimate, was verbal or on his phone. Even the quote qas on his phone. He told me everything was electronic. Well, I am a paper person. I will look at it on your phone, but I want to read it on a document that will hold up in court. He named the unit that would be used, but no literature was given, nor features, etc. I guess I will go look it up on my own. I should get a discount for that. LOL

On Monday I had my toilet worked on, Tuesday it was leaking. I called the office and they sent a different plumber out ( Cody ). The nicest young man you ever want to meet. He replaced my toilet free of charge. Now that's what you call customer satisfaction !!!!!! I would recommend South End Plumbing any day of the week. I feel they went above and beyond to make the situation right. Thank you,,,, I will use you again..

South End Plumbing has provided plumbing for me twice (one job more complicated than the other) -- but in both cases they were prompt, professional, provided good service at a fair price. I was very pleased with across the board with their service and will call on them again for any future plumbing needs.

Very knowledgeable plumber came to fix a recurrent clogged toilet. This was the second plumber to take a look (first from SE Plumbing)- The plumber went to crawlspace first (vs toilet) and found the problem after some agitation of the pipe and history of the event. I was using 2 ply toilet paper for the high efficiency mode of a dual flush toilet. Excellent catch! No charge for coming out as we discussed future plumbing concerns (i.e., a 12 year old water heater). Highly recommend!

This plumber was hired to move a sink about 18”. The inspector failed their installation work and the service technicians had to come out to the house three times before they passed. However, after all of that, the drain was installed too high for the disposal to be reconnected, and now it has to be redone. They also drilled thru an electric wire which had to be repaired. Management has been responsive, but their technicians do not know what they are doing. I requested that management come to the house to review the work because the contractor said the workmanship is shoddy. They have yet to send someone. Buyer beware.

I can't say enough about South End Plumbing. Our shower handle broke at 11pm and we weren't able to shut it off. Called a different plumber that promised to arrive by 4am. They called at 3am saying they could not locate a plumber ugh. Called South End and Bobby arrived within the hour! He did amazing work, was honest and trustworthy and felt like one of the family. South End will be our go to for plumbing from now on.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness of this company. They came out to repair my HVAC system. Other companies would tell me it would be a week or two before parts come in. South End diagnosed one day and was out to repair the following morning. Renee was so polite when i called to schedule the appointment, and Dashawn came out within two hours. He was friendly, professional, and maintained Covid protocol the entire time. I will use them again in the future and will refer to family and friends.

I am VERY HAPPY with the services rendered from South End Plumbing. Technicians Kody & Austin came out and installed a whole new plumbing line because I had a slab leak. From the very beginning and dealing with Kody, he gave great feedback and suggestions. Our kitchen sink was leaking and they came right out on a Saturday and fixed it.

First company i called to fix a back up problem and to cap a sewer line. I absolutely hate talking on the phone, so thank God the lady I talked to was majorly nice and got me set up. The man, Bobby, came out hours before originally expected. capped the line, got the man with the power hose to flush it all out, and we were done hours before I anticipated to get service. Highest recommendation to everyone there!

The service technician came within just a few hours of my call for help. He repaired the problem within the tank and installed a more up to date wall faucet. He quickly analyzed the problems, was efficient in installation and fairly priced.

Called them to have a garbage disposal replaced, which I already had purchased the same unit to replace the old. They offered a free estimate but wouldn't quote their hourly rate. (I know, red flag!) Tech showed up and agreed the job would be a simple replacement, for about $299!! Now I know why the free estimate since probably 90% of folks would go ahead and let them do the work anyways. Found a licensed plumber who was professional, on time, and did the same work for about half that. IN RESPONSE to the $77 coupon...as I said in our phone discussion earlier, this was NEVER offered or spoke of. And why not just quote me the $222 price in the first place? Thats called transparency and honest dealing.

Matt has been sweet to my dog and patient with a toddler that wants to help. Plumbers have been always arrived at the times provided, always made the necessary repairs, and charged less than expected.

So I called this company because I needed my gas stove and dish washer installed after using an electric stove for the last 6 yrs. The guy came out, I explained exactly what I needed and he proceeded to tell me that he needed to go out to his car to write out an estimate. 30 minutes later, he comes back with a $1252 estimate and I'm like, WTH is this. What exactly am I paying you $1200 for? He proceeded to tell me I needed a regulator and a drip line when there was already a regulator on the stove and I'm not sure what the drip line was for. Mind you, there was already a gas line installed in my house, it just wasn't being used. I ended up telling the guy I wasnt going to use his company. To make a long story short, I ended up using a company that charged me less than $300 and thats with tip included. This company really tried to rob me blind.

Called on a Sunday, they came quickly and got my hot water heater running - temporarily. They came back on Monday to replace it along with a sump pump and ended up working VERY late, without complaint to get everything done. They were great!

The only reason Im giving Southend Plumbing 4 stars instead of 5 is based on my first experience not being so great. After coming out to fix my kitchen faucet and taking care of my sink being backed up I was told by Jeremy I would be his first appointment the next day to complete my bathroom plumbing that he had taken apart (so I was not able to use my master bathroom sink). The whole next day went by and I did not hear from Jeremy. I called Southend Plumbing and they were able to send team Matt and Robert to my house, they were very professional and were able to fix the problem I was still having from my kitchen faucet and the job Jeremy started on my master bathroom sink. Great job guys! I would definitely use them again if I can get team Matt and Robert.

I had a water main leak. My main ran under my driveway for some reason. The crew dug a new pipe trench around the other side of my house and tied it in from the backyard. Saved me a lot of trouble down the road for when I replace my driveway. Crew was professional and had fun when my daughter was cheering them on with the trench digger machine. Would recommend them to anyone.

I had an emergency plumbing situation and I was able to get someone out within a couple hours. He was friendly, professional and swift. He was done so fast and did not charge unnecessarily.

My grandparents speaks little to no english and they are elderly so often I have to call around for a contractor to help them. It seems that no one answers their phones. I get that my cell number is from out of state but I do leave a voicemail and still I never hear back right away. I called South End Plumbing and they answered my call!!!!!! My grandparents didn't have any hot water so they needed a plumber out right away. South End came out to their home and got it fixed that same day. The price was very reasonable but what's more important is time, time is money. They were very happy so I am happy. Keep up the great work! Thank you!

Called to have someone look at a back flow preventer that was leaking. Technician called and asked if I could take pictures of the system. I did and was quoted $1150 to replace the system.. I asked if it could be repaired and the tech said no, it needed to be replaced. I told him I would get back to him and used YouTube to self-diagnose the problem. Fixed the issue (out of place washer in the check valve) in 5 minutes. Guess I should have done this first but if I were using these folks in the future I would be dubious of any estimates/recommendations.

We were so grateful to Cole and South End Plumbing--they showed up right when they said they would and did a difficult job (including digging a four foot hole under our sidewalk) to replace a 100 year old drain pipe with a root growing through it! Very good service and good quality work!

Had a clog in old cast iron drain pipe between two bathrooms. Barry used a vent line in the attic to access the drain line with a snake. It was difficult to find the cast iron drain line but he finally did and got all bathroom sinks flowing fine. Good Job !!

Mi esposo yamo para que bienieran aber el calenton que asi una semana lo abiamos con prado y estaba tirando agua segun el que bino areparar el liqueo dijo nesesitaba una ponpa en sima del calenton y sela puso pero sigio liquiando agua los yamamos otrabes y si binieron pero el calenton sigue tirando el agua. Y me cobraron $ 809.74. Hoy no tego como pagar atra con pania porque sen nosotros pagamos esa cantida porque eyos iban asolucionar el problema y no fue asi asi que yo.
