I recently moved from Washington DC to NC. I used Michael and Sons regularly to service and maintain my home when in DC. When I found myself without power and getting no help from the utility company I was excited to see that M&S was also in this area. If possible my interaction with Cody today made me even more of a fan and loyal customer. He was attentive, kind and empathetic to my situation when others were not. While to him and others I’m sure this would be considered a simple fix but to me it was the turning point of actually being able to enjoy my new home. He took the time to explain not only what he was doing at the time but the why so that I would be prepared if it happened again. In a series of events that have gone wrong over the last few days it was nice to have something go right.

I had a massive spike in my power bill and noticed my heater couldn’t keep up anymore. I called the office and they had Dillon come out the next day to diagnosed the issues. We quickly realized it was just too old to save, and started looking into replacing it. They were able to get a whole new system installed the next day! Their install team was professional and did a very clean job. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience from start to finish.

He made recommendations on how to prevent future flushing problems and quickly left notes so I can refer to them. Herbie explained everything so I understood what he was saying, not using technical jargon only plumbers understand! We used Roby Electric for a whole home generator installation. Our project had a number of unexpected complications. What I could not say enough about is how Jake Mackey, our project leader, stood by us every single step of the way. He did not give up, brought in additional experts, partnered with an existing service provider we had, and took care of us at each step. Jake is outstanding at interacting with his customer. His demeanor stays calm, and he is always responsive. He listened to actually hear, validated frustrations, and stayed in problem solving mode. He even followed our project through after he was moved to another area of the company. He should train every employee on how to handle things well. What you want is a service provider that delivers on their promises and thanks to Jake, we got to that point. Roby also helped us with some smaller electrical matters while handling this project, and it is great to have peace of mind.

Dan's team came to my home to assist with the removal of an A/C unit in order to replace the roof. After Dan's team came to my home, removed the unit and replaced the unit, I found that my previous service provider had done a shoddy job. After Dan's team replaced the unit, my home was toasty warm. I had no idea we had a problem. Dan and his team members are professional, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't be happier!
