Lawrence went above and beyond to make sure my hallway light fixture was installed properly. When arriving to my house, he informed me that my ceiling was too high for his ladder and that it would call for a ladder that would could me an additional $200. Knowing that, Lawrence explored every option he could to avoid having me pay an additional $200. Finally, he decided to use the ladder that he had brought with him to perform the duty. Lawrence performed all kinds of troubleshooting when there were obstacles in getting the light fixture installed properly . He was determined to make sure the light fixture was installed properly and to my satisfaction. The icing on the cake is that I found out that he is originally from Freeport Long Island NY which is my hometown. I would like for Lawrence to install my future light fixtures due to his professionalism, his thoroughness and overall willingness to go above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction.

We are so pleased with the work RYN services did! We asked them to install three grab bars and a towel bar. The grab bars were a bit of an issue as they needed to be mounted on ceramic tile-something many companies didn’t want to risk attempting. RYN was efficient with their communication scheduling Lawrence to come look at the job and give us an estimate. By the next day we had scheduled a day and time for Lawrence to come back and do the work. We were emailed an invoice for 50% of the job up front (standard) and were able to pay easily online. Lawrence came back at the scheduled time, again great communication all the way, along with apprentice, Caleb. The guys were incredibly competent, professional, and sweet. They did an awesome job and we are already thinking of other things we will be calling them back to do in the future. Thanks, guys!

I'm converting my 4 bed/2.5 bath home into a rental unit pending a relocation. I originally found RYN Services through the Home Depot Pro contractors services, and initially needed a small section of fencing replaced. Most handyman services or fence companies did not treat this job seriously, as it may not have reached the minimum work threshold they require for an on-site quote. RYN Services and their project manager, Lawrence Hall, were the only one of four who actually took the time to visit the home to provide a quote. Conversations with Lawrence evolved, as he made me aware of the full suite of services RYN provides Re.: rental properties, the scope of the job grew to include interior painting, replacement of three toilets, the new fencing and other items. Although there was some initial quality issues with their fence sub-contractor, Lawrence and RYN came through and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would hire RYN Services again, and Lawrence Hall in particular.

Lawrence from RYN Services installed a French door in my dinning room. The door looks amazing and Lawrence was polite and professional. I would highly recommend RYN Services.

They were professional and responsive to my “urgent” need to stop a leak under my kitchen sink. Even before stepping into my home, Tyler kept me apprised of his ETA. Tyler diagnosed the problem, walked and talked me through what was causing the issues, and fixed the leak source. Tyler was aces! I will use this company for my future home and handy man needs.

This business is very unprofessional. They failed to keep my appointment and failed to call me. I was left waiting all day for my technician. They obviously don't need my business, which is a shame. Not only did they lose my business for the original project, I am constantly in need of project services. My husband and I are physically unable to complete projects ourselves. I never even got a call from the company with an apology. I have never dealt with any company that was more unprofessional.

RYN not only gave me a great quote, but were honest. The technician analyzed the situation and adjusted a part without charging me for a new one. They replaced an entire water heater for a competitive price. The technicians were thorough and did the job very timely. I highly recommend RYN Services. James in Indian Trail.

We had a very poor experience. Not transparent and not professional.

Put a request thru Thumbtack to 1) diagnose & fix a breaker issue & 2) replace single window pane. RYN Description clearly states $95/hr in headline description. After back & forth correspondence, RYN sets arrival time btwn 11am-12pm. By noon, with no show & no communication, I text RYN twice by 12:15. No reply. They call at 1245 and we set new time for 1:30.

After arriving, Raul(?) goes to breaker and fixes issue within 15 minutes. When I ask the for that bill, he replies $275, 3X the amount they post online. This without ever informing me of the expected price before starting since it would be exceedingly more. I state that no more work is to be done, politely ask RYN to leave & I will pay the breaker bill in cash as he will accept no other form of payment.

At the end, Raul(?) drops the bill to $200 but I'm still disturbed that RYN would try to gouge customers vs was they publicly display. Needless to say, we will not work with RYN again.

Very good experience, they helped replace a faucet. It being a holiday time, they were nice enough to accommodate us within a day’s time and the service was fast and very professional and the lowest quote I received...Would definitely go with them for our next plumbing need.
