For years we had been loyal Hamstra HVAC customers, but when we needed to replace our system we decided to shop around. We ended up choosing Intelligent Design after they gave us a more competitive estimate and MUCH more thorough/careful consultation than the other guys. Two years later, I am so glad we chose Intelligent Design - our new AC and Heating system works like a dream, and when our thermostat suddenly stopped working, Intelligent Design quickly replaced it, no questions asked and no charge. We also have a maintenance plan with them, and every time they have come to our home they have been on time, friendly, polite, and ready to answer any questions. I highly recommend these guys!

Carlos was very caring and was trying to figure out what he could do to help. He was concerned about us. He checked the system and saw that pack rat and built a nest and there was signs of burnt particles and was starting to burn. Nothing else he could due. He left us a portable a/c. Very awesome person.

Sabotaged my unit to try and sell me a new one. Over priced repair by $700. States I should call them last because they are the highest prices and get a premium for their inventory.

Called them in the afternoon after getting an unfavorable quote from three big HVAC companies here in Albuquerque. The phone operator asked if my current AC was cooling the house. I explained to her it had failed several days before, and we had been living in a 95° house for days waiting for the other companies to come to our house and give us a quote. She sent out an HVAC technician to give us a quote in about 90 minutes, and I immediately liked the guy (Mark.) He was candid, and wasn't a slick salesman. He explained my choices clearly, and didn't try to upsell me beyond giving me more premium options if I was interested. Much better than the other companies, who sent actual salesmen to your house to try to pressure you into buying. The quote was very reasonable, and they said they could have the AC installed in two business days, as Covid has made it difficult to obtain/stock/deliver AC units. I got two big beautiful Daikin units that are quiet and very good at cooling our house. Couldn't be happier with the company. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

We had an ongoing issue with a toilet backing up. Juan came the same day we called to diagnose the issue, and Conrad and Jose came the next morning and replaced the toilet, eliminating the issue. They were very professional, did quality work quickly, and the best part - they cleaned up so you couldn’t even tell they were there! Thank you guys! My son’s bathroom looks and works great now, and it was affordable so my husband’s happy too!
