I have old cast iron pipes. Cummings installed the permaliner system. The team was great. Each time I called after the initial install with very minor issues they never complained, were always on time and always corrected the problem. Plumbing is expensive but everyone was very kind, understanding and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Cummings. Annette

This is now my 3rd time working with Cummings Plumbers and I've been blown away each time with how professional, clean and efficient they are. Really impressed with everything they've done for us with repiping out water supply, to a new kitchen sink to, clearing a terrible clog in our sewage system. These guys have been great! The dispatcher and Blaise did a fantastic job today helping clear a sewer drain pipe clog at my house today. They came same day, they were a little bit early to come to the appointment which I appreciated. Blaise fixed the issue quickly and the price was fair. Also I learned something about how my backflow valve works. Would recommend if you need quick plumbing help.

I have used Cummings Plumbing for more years than I can count. My first husband, who passed away, was chief architect for many communities in and around Tucson, he was city manager and State and county Planning Commissioner. He loved and used Cummings. My current husband and I have used Cummings since we married in 2011. They have done it all for this old 1970's home: the septic tank, a new hot water heater and a quality heating and cooling system. They do a free checkup twice a year on the new heating and cooling system and the men who come here are well trained, polite and very friendly. They answer all of our questions. They also check annually all of our air vents in the bathroom, kitchen and laundry rooms. And with an emergency like a flooded laundry room they were here in less than 2 hours. I have never waited for many days for anything.

Very disappointed. Office staff were friendly and helpful on the phone, no issue there. The problem is the way the company do business. They were not sure what was wrong with my gas fired heating furnace. So rather than trying to help me get some heating (we had no heat and it was pretty cold at night) they said that due to working to a fixed price process, they could not work on my furnace as the part they thought was faulty might not fix the problem. OK I understand that they can’t work for nothing but the most annoying thing was that they were trying to tell me that they were not working on my furnace to avoid any inconvenience to me! Clearly not true. They were protecting their own interests in case the part they fitted didn’t fix the issue and they had to spend more time on a fixed price deal. Them not fixing my furnace was not in my interest at all. Bad practice. Not happy. Don’t recommend.

They weren’t the right people for what I needed done (dealing with solar plumbing) but they had great communication and a.friendly office staff. Advertising says they do water heaters for a certain price but when you call they say they can't give quotes over the phone. They would not even repeat what the price was on the radio that it said. Began to wonder if they would not repeat the Advertisement and that they only give estimates on site that there might be some false advertising going on.

They had to replace the drainage tubing in my dishwasher. Required taking apart the dishwasher. They were competent and explained everything well. They were also neat and when they left everything was clean and orderly. Blaise is courteous, competent and helpful and I’m very comfortable having him in my home. I’ve called about things that I thought were not working and he’s explained my problem and how to get the result I want without selling me something I don’t need, so I trust him.

This is the second experience with Cummings Plumbing for a plumbing issue... we had an emergency situation at one of our rental properties... Made the call and was answered by a very friendly voice (Soliel) on the other end. She immediately dispatched a technician (Junior) and he was out within the hour...Junior was able to get a diagnosis for the problem... worked on it as far as he could take it for the evening then back early the next morning to complete the job. Definitely recommend them!

I appreciate Cummings Plumbing for coming out the day after my water heater started leaking. Tyler did an amazing job with the installation of my new water heater. The only criticism I have is that the hot water wasn’t bled through the faucets of my home. Otherwise he did an amazing job.

The service was good but the price was ridiculous. $672 for an hour's time and about 4 feet of copper tubing. Yes, they gave me the price when he showed up, but I was in a jam and had to get it fixed due to sale of house. Juan was fabulous but I don't think I would use Cummings again. I think they use the Book for pricing so maybe other licensed plumbers would charge the same.

Got an appointment the day I called. Originally scheduled for 4 PM but was able to get someone out at 11 am. Fixed the problem quickly.

I had a break in the incoming water line in the middle of the night. I had to shut off the water to the house. Cummings team responded and had Ty on site before 10 AM that morning (Sunday, Mother's Day). Ty had the immediate probelm resolved in about 15 minutes and the water back on to the the house. He also had a plan to minimize issues in the future and scheduled a return trip for the following day to implement the plan. Cummings team provided excellent support

Tyler was great. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the work performed, plus he showed me why each repair was needed. He is a great asset to your team. I will continue to use Cummings for all my plumbing and electrical needs.

They got here fast and did thorough assessment and provided helpful options.

On the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2021, a partial clog caused mybathroom drain to back up.I called Cummings Plumbing and they said they'd send someone between 6 and 8 PM.The man came at 7:05 and stayed until just before 8.  First he said he couldn't warranty any work,  then he said he couldn't open the drain at all and he'd have to come back with a camera the next day.  He had brought no lightto work with so Iprovided him with a lantern.  I paid him for the service call.  Thus far I havereceived no receipt.The next day, an hour and a half after their scheduled arrival window, 2trucks and 4 men showed up.  One of them carried the camera.  They did no work on the pipe.  They took a picture, showed it to me, and said theonly way they could proceed was to run a chain mechanism through thepipe.Cost:  $6000,  $3000 immediately, and the other $3000 when they cameback the next day to dothe fix.    Next they said the only way to save the pipe was to insert aliner inside.  That would cost another $9000-12,000.  They said Cummings was the only company who did that sort of work.They all stood around me, saying the same thing, warning me about how serious the problemwas.To say it was hard sell is an understatement.  In fact the whole scene involved a fair amount of intimidation.I told them I'd think about it and get back to them.The next day I called another company.  The serviceman came onThursday, Nov. 10.   He workedabout an hour and a half and opened up the drain, camerad the line, andhelped me set up a 6mo. appointment to check on the condition of the pipe.  He provided a 6 mo. warranty.  He said if I needed a long term solution down the road, his company could insert a lining.  The job would cost around$8000.  I paid him for hiswork and he gave me a receipt then and there.Fraud is defined as wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.For the life of me, I can't understand how companies like Cummings Plumbing remain in business and even advertise on local TV.

The team did a superb job with installation of our NEW A/C system.All the work was detailed and the workers were very performance conscious.Supervisor Jason Carnes effectively motivated subordinates to exert the effort necessary to install the A/C components into a very small space.The new A/C is much larger than the older model , this was a big challenge for the workers, but Jason demonstrated a strong ability to identify ,analyze and solve the problem.We will gladly recommend Cummings to our family, or others who may need plumbings ,heating and cooling service.Joseph N Benitez

We have been using Cummings for years. The techs they send are always helpful, professional, and efficient. This is a well run company. Highly recommend for all plumbing jobs. As we all know, this service is not cheap- people need to be prepared to pay for these professional services. I don't have any sense that their prices are a rip off (like some other local companies) we trust them to do the job right.

While I didn't ultimately use Cummings for my repair, I was very impressed with Robert's timeliness and professionalism. The quote I got was fair, it just came down to scheduling.

Awesome experience with Cummings. We had the main valve into house replaced, new hose bib pipes, new toilet, many clogged drains fixed.

Chris and the other technician (sorry I forgot his name), both very professional and very conscious about keeping things clean. Explained issues clearly and provided estimates for other issues.

I called at 2:30 on a Monday they had someone there by 4:30 same day. I needed to get an entire waterline from the street to the house replaced. They came back 8 am the next morning to do the work. I didn’t really shop around to see if it was a good deal but it was in the price range I was thinking it would cost and the customer service was great so even if they were higher I don’t mind paying what I did.

I got a quote from Jake to do the repiping of my house. Jake was very professional. Explained everything that would happen and how it would happen. I really appreciate the time he spent to explain the process. I haven't made the decision to do it yet but when I do, I will go with Cummings.

Repairs to our air conditioning unit were completed in a timely manner and done well. However, some part of either repair or cleanup required them to use our hose. We have what may not be a common setup of smart faucet timers and multi-output manifold, and it became clear this morning that the repairmen were not certain of how to operate it and, rather than asking how things work, they fuddled through and left the entire outdoor faucet system turned off, resulting in our evening and morning irrigation not taking place as planned.In the future, I’d recommend that if the repairmen are not familiar with a setup they should ask the customer so that they don’t leave things in a state other than the customer expects.Again, no complaints about the repair itself, just some concerns about how they left the watering system.

Service was good and it was a Saturday and there was a cancellation so I did get an appointment very quickly which was really appreciated. I just have an issue with how the pricing was done and the price for WHAT WAS DONE. It ended up taking 30 mins was not really hard once it was figured out and it was extremely expensive. The job was priced for a job that should be done to fix the issue not FOR WHAT WAS DONE. I think that is unfair and the wrong thing to do. It was all pre- estimated to fix the whole thing....not fair really.

I was completely satisfied with the service. I was impressed by the serviceman who came to estimate the work - William Patterson.
He evaluated the problem, gave me a quote and corrected the problem. He was very polite and informative and left the job site clean and neat. Highly recommended.

I called Cummings for clogged kitchen sink drain I was quoted at $150. A plumber came over and spent 2 hours snaking the drain from the vent on the roof. After 2 hours the drain was unclogged but water was very slow going down. I would run my water for less 10 seconds and then it was back up again. So then he recommends I buy a drain opener from him for $60 and it should clear up the drain completely over a course of a few months. Fast forward a few months, the drain is now completely clogged again. Total charge for the work and cleaner was $263.I was not going to pay over $200 again for work that maybe get fix. I'm no plumber, but I took the pipes apart myself and looked down the main pipe and sure enough there a was big clog of grease. I unclogged it with a $25 drain snake at home depot and ran a $10 drain cleaner with hot water and now it works like a perfect. Getting a little dirty and $35, problem fixed. Cummings Plumbings are probably professionals, but are lazy to do work the right way, I would NEVER call them again for any work. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about Cummings to look else where.

Keith is a very persistent plumber. He doesn't stop until he solves the issue. I had a difficult problem, with unexpected (and unusual) branches in the vent pipes burried in the walls of my house. Normal clean-out practices didn't work, because the normal path for the clean-out snake bypasses hidden branches in the pipes. Keith somehow found the branches by feeling the differences in the resistance of the snake and somehow coaxed the snake to take turns into hidden branches. It took extra effort and stubbornness, but he made it work, and fixed my plumbing problem. And he knew of more things to try, if that didn't work. If you have a difficult plumbing problem, ask for Keith.

Miguel came out and diagnosed the problem, but we chose to use our home warranty program to fix the problem. Also, the cost for Cummins to fix the problem was higher than we thought was necessary.

The plumber was friendly, courteous, and efficient. He quickly got our hot water heater working again.

Had them come over fo an estimate for water coming up through my kitchen tile. Without checking anything he gave me a quote of $8000. I had American Leak detection come over and said I had absolutely no pipes leaking. Turns out it was a minor fix from my A/C unit. I would never recommend Cummings!

Aged (20-yr. +/- old Kohler flush/refill valving failed in one commode. Fast same-day service response. Professional technical communications/service from your staff. My dripping faucet was repaired quickly and reasonably priced. Robert was very courteous, knowledgeable, and kind.

I originally wanted a hot water recirculation pump installed but in addition had to replace a hot water tank that was 4 months out of warranty. I didn't forsee that coming which added a significant amount to the charges. Even with that we are very pleased with Adan's service. As usual a number of problems popped up during the install process but Adan took care of everything. In looking at recirculation systems, their instructions stated that a do it yourself guy could install this Grundfos System in an hour. I consider myself that kind of guy but am sure glad Adan did the install instead of me. I would have ended up calling a plumber anyhow. The only downside is that the water temperature of the hot heater tank was set at 140 degrees instead of the requested 120 and had to find the Grundfos Operating Instructions online as none were left.

I was informed by my water company that I had excessive water flow coming from my home, possible leak. I needed a plumber immediately to come and see what the problem was. I'm out in a rural area, so I immediately attempted to contact a plumber in my area. I called 3 different companies for assistance. One didn't know when and if they could even come out, couldn't give me any assurance if they could even come out. Second company said see you some time today that the tech would call me in 30 minutes to schedule a time (by the way, tech never called) and the third company after explaining the urgency of my situation said, Ill call you and come out if I can possible tomorrow. I explained to each company my usage was over 30,000 gallons, normally 4,000. I assumed it would be a lot easier to call locally in my area for a plumber, I was wrong. So I called Cummings Plumbing and Heating located in Tucson that is almost 30 miles away. I was upset, frantic and out of my mind due to my situation. The customer service agent was compassionate and understanding. I didn't even have time to explain the 30,000 gallons and she was scheduling a technician ASAP. The first 2 companies didn't have any compassion or urgency to assist me.Jake showed up like a Knight on a white horse, was very polite and respectful. Jake figured out the problem and fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!The point of me telling my story is that Cummings is a big and well known company in Arizona. And no matter how big or successful they are. They treat every call as a priority and go out of their way. The other companies I called could careless.So, that being said. Thank you Cummings for coming to my rescue and making me feel that I was important and a priority.

Easy to get appointment with. Very helpful customer service, excellent job working, and courteous technicians. They know what they are doing. Gives good advice. Important: you will be emailed and texted about the technicians with their pictures, so no worries.

Had a water heater tank leak, Joshua came in and replaced the unit under warranty. Very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Made no mess, didn't damage anything, and cleaned up perfectly. Completely happen with him and company.

it was extremely expensive, and extremely over priced . my plumber friends laugh at me when i tell them what cummings charged and what i paid, when i had an issue with some of the work that was done they couldn't keep the appointment time that was scheduled after sitting home waiting all day for the plumber to come

Excellent service by this company: HVAC replacement, repipe, sewer service, and a couple of new faucets. They arrived the day after I called. Presented me with several options, and everything was done just as I asked. Really great working with this team. Highly recommended.

In four days our main sewer line was properly lined and several .inside bathrooms lines repaired.

My water heater sprung a leak just before the 4th of July. I left messages at several places, Cummings responded quickly, sent a technician out that was professional and personable. He gave me an estimate and was able to do the work that day. The job was completed in a timely fashion, the area was clean/ neat when he was done. I would highly recommend this company!

I called to have them come out and inspect for a water leak to prepare my house to be sold. He was up front and honest about what the problems were... informed me of multiple problems I have... couple small issues and 1 mild/major issue where a pipe needs to be repaired. Id recommend these guys to others. They also do military discount. Which he informed us of when he found out my wife was active duty.

So I spoke with the front office and explained very clearly what installation we needed and she explained that was fine and it shouldn't be a problem.. I specifically asked if there was a hourly minimum and she clearly stated There was not!!! It would be quoted by the job and they could handle that simple install. Two technicians came into my home to deny a ten minute fix to quote a minimum of 165$ charge. My wife sent them packing. I came home from work the following day and installed it in literally less than. 10 minutes and I have no experience as a plumber... I was highly disappointed in those technicians. Absolute thieves!!

Jason provided outstanding service in replacing bathroom appliances for senior needs. He was exactly on time as previously scheduled and completed the modification within one hour. Leak detection & ultimate repair was completed through long distance communication, pictures, & consultation with a neighbor. Very professional.

Yes the problem was fixed-recharging our air conditioner...but two years ago it was $99 and today it was almost $550 with a $27.40 senior discount! We only called them back because they were so wonderful two years ago. NEVER AGAIN! They gave us all of their price breakdowns but this was the shock of our lives. Both invoices from 2015 and 2017 only have the price charged. We feel cheated and robbed no matter what their excuses are.

Adam installed the sheet rock that was disturbed to replace pipes during the coating procedure pre-Perma Liner. I had three different projects with Cummings Plumbing: Perma Liner, replace heat pump, and install a waste line that was installed incorrectly by another company in 2012. I often had three trucks in my driveway. Everyone was professional, considerate of my property and personable. There were a number of difficulties since my home was built in the early 60's which everyone handled easily and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Cummings Plumbing for any plumbing, heating or cooling jobs. Talking with the women in the office was always pleasurable, too. Cummings Plumbing has covered all bases of making the customer happy.

I am disappointed that a new tank for the water heater has some dents, I called to let them know they said the tank was very big and heavy for one worker. My question is why they didn't sent two. I think every one of us know our own limitations. They offer me a credit of 50 dollars my question if it is worthted after you paid more then 3000 dollars for a new tank. I don't think I will not recommend them or use their service in a new future.

We had water leaking somewhere under the floor. We saw their TV ad saying they have the technology to quickly find and fix leaks under floor. So we called them to come help us locate the leak. They didn't even try to locate the leak. Just told us there was a leak under the floor. (We already knew that.) Then they gave us bid for $9,000.00 to completely repipe the house. We located and fixed the leak ourselves for around $400. Calling Cummings was a waist of time.

I had my annual winter heater checkup. My technician found a problem with the sensors that required adjustment of the settings & saved me from having a costly replacement.

Please, please, please go to another company. This company tried to convince me that I needed a new AC unit ($7000). They said there was no hope for my unit. Called for a second opinion, not only did this company tell me the truth about the problem, but they fixed it. Tech said this was a problem that was clear, a bad motor. You may or may not get scammed, but why take the risk.

I contacted Cummings Plumbing on Monday morning regarding a major water leak that required the water to be shut off until repairs were completed. They were able to schedule a technician to come out that afternoon. The technician found the problem and was able to shut off water to the affected area while restoring water to the house until the parts required to fix the leak could be ordered and the repair completed. The technician returned the next day to finish the repair. I was so impressed with the service and professionalism of the technician that I have already referred Cummings to my coworkers. Cummings Plumbing has been added to my contact list for plumbing problems not covered by my home warranty.

On Jul. 28, 2018, I sadly found there was no cold water coming out from the faucet over the sink in the bathroom. I picked up the Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling from the yellowbook because it is the winner of the Readers' Choice in 2017. So I called its Tucson office to schedule an inspection next day on Aug. 1 though the same day appointment was available. The technician Odus Berglund arrived as scheduled. He is very experinced in plumbing. After he checked the second point along the cold water line, the cold water ran out of the tap. The problem which had bothered us for a long time was resolved. Thank you very much! The charge was reasonable and acceptable. I didn't call the other plumbing company to get a quote and then to compare the price.

The office staff and work crews are friendly, the work was done quickly.However, nothing that the person who sold me a $5000 tankless water heater was communicated to or done by the installation crew: did not remove old water heat cover, did not install electrical outlet. I was not given any printed information on the unit installed, no user guide, no warranty information--only a quick look on the salesperson iPad.I am now having to bring someone else to finish the work as I don't trust it will be done as agreed by Cummings.

They charged $320 for a half hour job changing valve for washer. I opened wall after spending 1/2 hour Turning coupling and I realized there were plastic tubing to the coupling. I had to have job done so I paid it. I will never call them back unless I receive some refund for doing prep work that was included in the cost. A supervisor called and said the flat fee won't change. That means they're charging over $600 an hour which I had the parts and so labor is around $400 a hour.

The service was absolutely outstanding! The area where my electric water heater is pretty small, so getting a standard tank in there was a challenge. However, the team that assisted me (especially the technician assigned to me, Garrett) did everything to get the job done and honored the original quote they gave me. Highly recommended!

We had this company out to our house in April to change the cartridge in a leaky shower. Six months later, the shower is leaking again and when we called the company, all we got from them was an, “Oh well. Your warranty was only good for 30 days.” Thirty days. This company takes no pride in their work and their plumbers do a terrible job. Six months after a repair, we shouldn’t have to call to have it repaired AGAIN. We gave Cummings an opportunity to make it right and they refused and wanted to charge us again to redo the repair—we called a different company to fix the problem. AVIOD THIS COMPANY. Their 30-day warranty should be reason enough to find any other plumber!

The office staff and technician were very polite and quick to set up an appointment. I called Cummings Plumbing on a Saturday morning to fix a standing clog in both kitchen sinks. I tried previously to contact another company who I had been using for a number of years. They wouldn’t even answer their phones. Tyler came out, on time, and actually a little bit early. The problem was diagnosed quickly. I was told what they were going to do and what the cost would be. Exactly what I was looking for. My expectations were exceeded, and I won’t hesitate to contact Cummings Plumbing again with any other issues.

Bought a brand new a/c unit mid 2011 from Cummings for $3600 with a 10yr compressor and parts warranty. We were first time home owners and wanted to be responsible so asked how often should we service the unit? We were told once a year. By 2013 we started to have issues with the unit either with the temperature or thermostat. We replaced the thermostat on our own and then was told that a simple goo solution should find and seal our now leaky unit. The technician was polite and courteous so we simply asked what is causing the leak? He told us and documented that we have a leaky coil which is included in our warranty and charged us $170 for the goo. We did not receive a call back for several weeks. The goo solution seemed to hold but soon failed. When finally contacting Cummings on our own and asking about the coil no one seemed to know what was going on. They send another technician out who was also polite and courteous now stated that the problem was a power board that would cost $300 for install and part. We seemed a little overwhelmed thinking why is our 2yr old unit costing us parts? He said we would be better off installing it on our own if it was financially easier and would not affect warranty since it was not the unit itself. $180 later and finding another company the problem was solved. 2016-17 our leaky unit is acting up again. $496 later in service and refrigerant fees with multiple confirmations from different technicians that our coil was at fault we finally have our warranty honored. 3days later and another patch job we have a new coil installed. Midway thru install we are introduced to a $700 bill that is completly labor fees? We argued that it was not fair and said we will pay $200+ since this was found the first time, should have been addressed and would equal the new bill. They agreed but would never come out again. We agreed to have them gone from our lives forever for $200 and a dicey repair. The supervisor Jason shows up and says I wanna give you one last chance to go at half with us on this new 5yr warranty. Are you kidding me? You couldn't honor the first one! No charge, new coil and still a 95 degree home. Please be warned of these crooks.

The Technician called to update his approx arrival time within the sheduled window of 8a-10a, arrived on time and accessed what he needed to do, which was just to remove a Water Hose that was stuck to my outside Faucet due to a build up of Hard water. The process took less than 5 mins. Thank You.

Because we were without water, they came out after hours and Erwin performed a temporary fix so we could turn the water back on. He returned in the morning to complete the repairs and kept us informed throughout the process. Erwin has a great attitude, does very good work, and we'd be happy to recommend him without hesitation!

Cummings scheduled our servicing (requested Friday) on Monday, one business day after our call. The tech, Manuel, came and serviced our 2 a/c units (even though our contract covered only one) for free, reminding us that we had bought a service contract I had forgotten about. He cautioned me to make the next 3 biannual service requests on time to get all our due from the contract. Oh yes, we are already 3 years into a 2 year contract. He admitted Cummings is not the cheapest service, but I agreed he and the co. had given us outstanding service.

Cummings' group always get the job done. Zach, Mike, Matt & Mark were exceptional at our unique install challenge. The special construction piece looks great!

Blaise installed a propane stove at my home. When the stove was delivered, I was surprised to learn that Home Depot would not install a propane appliance so I called Amerigas. They gave me an appointment for 2 days later and never showed up. After I received a text from them stating the job was complete, they told me that they do not install propane appliances! I then called Cummings because I saw their trucks around town, and they sent Blaise over 2 days later. He was on time, and while the work was expensive, I'm happy it was completed, and he didn't mind that I joked with him that the price was so high that he also should have baked muffins for me while he was installing the stove. The installation was almost as much as the stove itself, but I was happy to pay it just to have a working appliance, and it did take 2 people 30 minutes to do the job after driving all the way out here. I get it, they need to make money too. Blaise was nice and professional and explained everything to me, so although he didn't bake me any muffins, the stove works great, and I will use Cummings again.

In the heat of June, a pipe burst outside our house. Cummings Plumbing were there in 30 minutes reconnecting us with water. When we realized we would need to replace ALL our pipes, they started work within two days and completed the bulk of the work in just three work days--from cutting open our walls, replacing all the pipe, and dry walling them back up. And when we asked them to touch ups, they were here on the same day to complete the job. It's really an impressive operation, and the crews were professional, timeline, and receptive to requests. We were horrified when the pipe burst, anticipating weeks worth of work ahead. But are very happy with the Cummings Plumbing and especially with Jesse A's crews.

I came home from work to find my Central Air Conditioning had stopped functioning and called Cummings Plumbing right away. They had a technician who came out within 2 hours of calling, and he diagnosed the problem immediately. Fortunately it ended up being a minor part failure in an older unit. He swapped out the faulty component and had the unit fixed up within minutes. I can’t thank Cummings Plumbing enough for their outstanding service and professionalism! Now my house it cool again. I will definitely be recommending them to others.

Had the water heater die. Called Cummings Plumbing and they came out that day to check it out. Made an appointment for them to come back out and replace the water heater. Seen the commercial on TV, so I called because my tankless water heater is not fully heating up. I told them that I think its an electrical issue because the plumbing is hooked up correctly. When the tech came out he really didn't know anything about the water heater and recommended that I call the company who made the water heater. I just figured that Cummings Plumbing would have technicians that would trouble shot the situation but apparently not.

Stopped up drain in kitchen. Very professional, answered all questions, prompt on time frame, called in advance to give arrival time. Very impressed with this technician!

Richard R. was assigned my problem and I'm very pleased with the result. He kept me informed as to his estimated arrival time (early), provided me with an estimate to solve my problems, ordered the parts and came back the next day and made my problems go away.

Cummings installed a new AC replacing a very old unit. Their price was right, they scheduled the install for two days and the install of both the main AC and air handler took just 3 hours. They cleaned up the area better than before. I hope the unit never fails, but it has a great guarantee and I would not think of calling anyone but Cummings.I've used Cummings for a number smaller repairs in the past and have never had any issue with their service, price of speed of doing the repairs.

They replaced the main shutoff valve, pipe, and outdoor faucet after corrosion led to the pipe disintegrating. They performed an emergency repair on an early Sunday morning and completed the replacement the following Thursday. They installed a pressure regulator as well. Andres was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions.

Blaze came to inspect our gas fireplace and help light the pilot. He was prompt courteous and get the job done. Really appreciate it and will work with him again.

We had John Taylor come put to give us a n estimate for a new AC unit. He actually called to ask if he could come early. He was very nice, knowledgeable and gave us a quote of a few options. No salesman pressure tactics which was greatly appreciated and went a long way in our choice to use Cummings to replace our AC. Thank you John!

They responded quickly and professionally, and we got the problem solved within 2 days. My only complaint would be that no one would give an estimate until the 2nd trip out when they told us how much it would be right before they fixed it. Also, the first tech called before coming out and the second one emailed (which is weird--make it consistent, one or the other). They are not cheap, either, but can you really expect cheap pricing on calls out of town? The going rate for electricians and plumbers isnt small, and drive time is unfortunately part of it. But I think you also get what you pay for (a company that communicates, shows up, and doesn't leave you stranded). I got my problem fixed quickly, the people I interacted with were all very professional and polite, and I would use them again if I had another problem.

Service after the sale is horrible, nickel and dime everything, never fix all thats wrong so they can charge for another service call. 24K for 4 units 6/2019, roof ruined by installers dropping screws all over the roof and stepping on them (Roof company canceled 10 yr. warranty) all have had 2-3 service calls in 3 years on each of 4 AC units. I asked why not change all 4 capacitors as they clearly are all the same age and size, if one failed they all likely will. 3 months later I have paid for 4 service calls to replace capacitors on all 4 units. The equipment is not sized correctly. I bought this 4 plex in 2009, never an AC service call until 2019 when I was told the unit on D needed replaced. Decided to replace all units as if one bad all likely going to fail. Now I have 2-3 service calls a year, the replacement units are undersized. Generally, I would not do business with these folks again, sorry I did in the first place. The commercial we see on TV is simply bull. What should be a 15 year fix (new roof, then new AC units), has turned into a leaking roof in two units, with no warranty do to Cummings Plumbing installers. No warranty on the AC units because Commings Plumbing cannot find record of the sale and thus charges me every time I call. I don't live in this 4 plex, so its just a nightmare situation for me. If you live at the service address and like service call waiting time this is great place to work with. If you want to install and be trouble free for a few years, don't buy AC units from cummings plumbing heating and cooling. I should have looked here first, to see that Air Conditioning is not in the list of services they provide.Shawn D.

We called them because they advertised free estimates. However, he surprised us by charging $125 when he left. I would say he is a good technician, but I also believe this is false advertising on the company's part.

Had electrical work done and heater looked at. Very professional and reasonable. Had a main breaker replaced and eectrician did not try to say i needed more than i did. He was very honest snd showed me the breaker that was bad and how it was melted. Other companies tried to say i needed $10k worth of work done and all new wiring. Electrician checked wiring inside and out and was honest about the wiring being good. He could have said it was bad i would have not know Any differant.

Did not show re-pipe on the services list which is weird? Dontoi did a great job and communicated well. I had a good experience despite a not-so fun time. It sucks to voluntarily pay someone $9000 to essentially destroy your home, so having a good crew that was through and communicated well helped. Good job. Juan Martinez was the technician who helped us, we had a random hot water pipe in our attic that was leaking, and he came out on a Sunday to fix it. I called saturday night, they walked me through how to close the hot water valve on the water heater so it wouldn't leak throughout the night. Anyway, they came out on a sunday, fixed the pipe only to find that a different piece of that same area needed to be replaced. So he came back again the next day to replace it. Absolutely happy with how responsive the company is, and will definitely recommend to others. Plus, they're phone line is 24/7 in case you have an emergency.

We’re very happy with what was done. We called a second time for a leak. Jake was on time, found the leak quickly and gave us options. We chose what we wanted and William did the install. We needed quick service after our water main developed an extreme leak. They were able to get to us quickly, at a better cost than others, and dealt with the situation quickly and handled both the job and clean-up quickly.

He walked the perimeter of my house with me and talked to me about my antiquated and poorly installed irrigation system that was installed before I bought my house, and the problem I was having with it. He gave me a run down of the irrigation system around without feeling rushed. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need just for the sake of selling. After encountering potentially serious plumbing issue at one of our rentals we decided to give Cummings a call based on some of the good reviews – Friday morning we called, were given a 2 hour window in the afternoon which had to get pushed back because they had a truck breakdown. This happens, but when he finally showed up he didn’t do any diagnostic and simply told us he didn’t have a camera on the truck because it wasn’t his. Well, dandy. He could have gone into the unit and tested some things out but he didn’t – just opened the cleanout and had me flush the toilet and that was it – he wanted to scope the sewer and didn’t have his camera so no-go. Spoiler alert: the problem ended up having nothing at all to do with the sewer line itself. So he schedules something for Monday morning “first thing” at 10am since he has “management duties” in the morning. Not ideal given the issues we were having but it’s now the weekend and you’ll be paying emergency after hours rates so we stuck it out. About 11am on Monday I call the office and ask for an estimated arrival time. I’m told he’s “stuck in traffic in Phoenix” and won’t be able to make it till “maybe this afternoon”. No kidding… you're at least 90 minutes away and you can’t give me a heads up you’re blowing a scheduled appointment off? And what happened to those important management duties? Really not impressed with their attitude or their scheduling abilities – I suggest they spend less money on their constant TV and radio ads and hire some better, more reliable staff. Short version we called another plumber who came out that day and fixed the problem in a couple hours – there are much better, more responsive and less expensive plumbers out there in the Tucson area to choose from – I suggest you shop around.

The team from Cummings recently installed a five head mini split AC system in my business… the entire team was extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, and the work was done considerably better than I could have hoped for! They also cleaned up any trace they were there and the shop looked cleaner when they left than when they arrived! Absolutely recommend Cummings!! Id give them 6 stars if I could!

Garrett showed concern in finding our leak and make a temporary fix. When he didn’t have the part on a Saturday he found time in his schedule on Monday to come back to get is water going until the repipe project can be done.

Ok if you have an emergency situation and need something repaired quickly. Otherwise, shop around and look for a better company. Pricey for little work done and the warranty is a joke. A pipe repair should be a lifetime warranty not 6 months.I appreciated the timely response and the friendly/knowledgeable technician. What I don’t agree with nor did I appreciate was the plumber referring us to “Steamy Concepts” just so he could get a kick back from the company which more than likely made him more money than what it cost to replace our burst pipe. I know this company is capable of tearing out drywall in order to fix a pipe leak. Being referred to another company for such was completely unnecessary and ended up costing us a lot in the end.

I contacted Cummings after discovering a leak in my bathtub faucet. Rebel was very friendly and helpful. She was able to facilitate a serviceman coming to my home in a very short time. Jeremy was the technician and was very professional, friendly and explained everything very clearly. Both made the experience pleasant under the circumstances and I will continue to use them in the future.

The city water department notified us that we had leak in the main valve and needed to fix it. The same as our neighbors. Our regular plumber couldn't come out for 3 to 4 days, so, based on their commercial, we called Cummings. They came out, were told that it was a broken valve, but, they keyed on the PVC pipe which had also cracked at the valve. The piece that was replaced was about 2-2 1/2 ft long, a hole was dug to get at it. However, they recommended that the line from the main to the house should be replaced, 152 ft., to the tune of 6 or 7 thousand dollars. But the 2 ft section and digging would only be $1,000. We were in need of the water, so reluctantly, we agreed. We were told that it was fixed, the hole was covered, they left. Nothing was apparently done with the broken valve. Our neighbor came home, checked his, noticed that our valve was still leaking. It wasn't replaced. Cummings came back out the next day. Our water had to be turned off another day. The cost to repair our leak (replacing a 2 ft section of pvc pipe) was absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend Cummings plumbing to anyone.

Iv'e been doing business with Cummings Plumbing for over 10 years. Their office staff is always ready to help when I call and their service technicians are knowledgeable and ready to take on any plumbing or HVAC repair. Last year mid summer I came home around 10 pm to a hot muggy house. My AC compressor had stopped working so I called expecting an answering machine. What I got was a live person that dispatched an on call technician. He arrived at my home in less than an hour and had me up and running again for under $200. Now that is service!

We needed to replace our defective water softener, and Cummings Plumbing got it done in record time. The new one works perfectly and testing shows our water is dramatically better than ever.

Antonio was friendly, polite, and got right to work. He explained what he was doing and why which was appreciated. I will use their services again.

Another, licensed plumber quoted $600. Why anyone would use Cummings is beyond me.

This company is just garbage. I honestly thought the work being done would be reliable and concrete since their prices are over the moon. I would highly suggest that if you want a job done correctly and professionally to go to a different company! I ended up using a small business to fix all of the supposed work they did. Perhaps they should have retained previous employees that actually knew what they were doing! Don’t fall for their advertisements and save yourself a pretty penny!!

Called Cummings after my home ins plan told me they wouldn’t cover the pipes outside my foundation. The told me a tree branch crushed my pipe under my concrete driveway. They estimated me $6000 to fix it and said it would likely take 2 days. They were prompt and I was able to schedule quickly since it was a disaster waiting to happen. It took them 5 hours and 30 minutes to complete the job and I now have to hire a concrete company to come repair my driveway where they cut out the concrete. They did great work, but charging over $1,000/ hour just seems steep. I’ll likely use another company that is more affordable in the future.

Joshua was a fantastic technician! He was very professional and answered all of our questions. We needed a new gas line plumbed for our laundry room. Joshua came in and gave us an estimate and told us the work could be completed the same day. He worked quickly and and efficiently and it is as if nothing had even happened to the laundry room wall. We have nothing but great things to say about his work and kindness!

I called Cummings Plumbing to get a quote for plumbing and electrical service in our backyard (we are creating an outdoor kitchen and need gas and electric lines run to the BBQ area). The woman on the phone was nice enough to set up an appointment for a time where both a plumber and electrician could come, but the electrician never came and no one ever followed up with us. The plumber who came was nice to interact with, but he didn’t take ANY measurements or go over pipe options with me. After explaining the work I wanted done, he called someone on the phone, told them what I wanted and estimated how much pipe had to be run, and then quoted me an OUTRAGEOUS price. Cummings Plumbing was the third plumber we had come out to give us a quote and by far the least helpful. The other two plumbers actually MEASURED the distance (it goes around the side of the house and across the backyard so it’s not like it’s only a few feet) and then they discussed the different pipe options with us, as well as the work they would be doing. They were also SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive ($1,000+ less).Cummings Plumbing might be great for other things, but I wouldn’t recommend them if you need this kind of work done.

We had an AC and furnace installed in our home. Jason and his crew were friendly and professional. They worked diligently to ensure that the system performed to our satisfaction and they honored the original quote.

I was very impressed with the quality of Cummings plumbing work. They came immediately on Labor Day when I had a kitchen drain stoppage. The next day I had a team of three: Gabriel, Doug, and Juan. They worked quietly and professionally and got the job done very well. Their supervisor, Raul Hernandez, came by to check their work on the first day and again the second day when the job was complete. They are extremely good plumbers and it was a pleasure doing business with them. And they did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they were finished.

The plumbers where earlier than window and called when they where in the area my orginal time window was 5pm to 7pm I got call at 12pm and they showed up at 12:30pm

Cummings replaced our water heater that failed. I called Cummings as soon as I noticed that the water heater had failed and was causing flooding. Plumbers setup a temporary fix over the weekend to prevent further leaking of old sprinkler system pipe. On Monday, the new piping system was complete and on Tuesday the plumber filled in all the displaced dirt, laid the pavers and replaced faulty on/off valve on remaining pool water outlet. I called for an A/C not blowing cool air. They said they could check it out in 4 days, which is understandable in Tucson in the 105 degree heat. They came in 3days. I was told over the phone there was a $99 checkup charge. Within 30 minutes the A/C was fixed. He replaced a capacitor. Told me the freon was fine. The total charge was $ 248. Maybe I was overcharged but at least it was done on the spot.I feel he was knowledgeable, curtious, and reliable.

Price for repiping house was fair. All the workers were excellent. Very patient with the dogs, more than what they should be expected to be! The work done (piping, drywall repair and painting) was also very good.The only thing I feel was not up to par was the clean up. First, the dry wall compound used etched both the driveway (white patches) and the grout on the saltillo tiles in the house. They missed patching a couple of small dings they put in the drywall and a small hole in the exterior stucco...just an oversight when they finished.Overall, it was a very good job and I would use them again for any problems I might have.

My shower valve needed to be replaced. Because of the great advertising done be Cummings and as a elderly person I felt that I would get a fair honest deal and prompt service. I felt the estimate was high, but I received a 5% discount due to being elderly. The bill remained over a Thousand Dollars. I felt I had no choice and signed everything before the work started. My mistake. I will never use or recommend Cummings Plumbing to anyone. What I thought would be a fair honest deal turned out to be just the opposite. Everyone that I have mentioned this to said I was way overcharged.

Called Cummings for air conditioning repair after first company called wanted $607 for replacing a blown fuse. I replaced fuse next day for $18 (bought fuses at ACE). AC ran 3-4 days and went out again. Called Cummings and tech diagnosed fuse again but found nothing wrong with electrical wiring. Cummings didn't charge me anything since problem probably not fixed. Waiting now to see if fuse blows again and have to call in Cummings electrician.

Joshua Bailey was the Senior Technician who repaired our house water shut off value. Joshua provided outstanding service. Joshua responded to our call late on a Friday and finished our repair on the follow Saturday(I believe his day off). Joshua showed great concern that our family had water when needed and that we experienced as little disruption as possible during the period the repair was completed. He was courteous and considerate. The repair work was of the highest quality. Heartfelt thank you from our family.

Roots. I hope you never have roots in your drains! If you do I would not hesitate to recommend Cummings. It took 8-10 hours a day with a crew of 4 to 9 workers for 5 days to get the job done. Without exception, every person was professional, focused. Every evening, when it got too dark to work, they cleaned up, leaving us with a clean house each night. They were creative in finding solutions that did not require jack-hammering my floor. They stayed within the original quote even as they encountered new obstacles. I would call them again.

Amazing! After completing a survey this gmail account popped up for us to add a comment; my parents do not have a gmail account and this is my room mates. My parents who are in their late 80's and early 90's have used Cummings several times. Their children got involved after we saw that there was going to be a repair without clearing the clog. As our daughter was in route from Phoenix to our house, she called Cummings, on a Sat, asking to speak to a manager for their elderly parents may be taking advantage of in an unneeded repair. They called our son in another State and that manager had no idea how to answer the question. Left another message Sunday and asked when crew was to show up on Monday; told 7 a.m. Monday no crew, our daughter called again, stating that we maybe being take advantage of. Finally, the office staff hear the cry. A manager called within 5 min, looked in to the situation, and the tech called our daughter back. The tech explained everything to our parents that he did and what fix he would recommend to fix the problem and to prevent future problems. The description of work that was handed to our parents only told about the fix and he voiced what steps he had already did in locating the problem in the pipes, but with my parents being so elderly and scared, they did not fully hear the tech. The family has learned a lesson over this. We do question the training of the office staff and the computer system in communication with the customer. BUT over all the tech went over and be on in helping out our parents and the fix well, hopefully, prevent future clogs. Thank you.

Dealing with Cummings Plumbing has been my worst nightmare.A job that was supposed to take 3 days took 3 weeks. The Company did not take any responsibility for screwing up pipes that they had originally fixed, when I called to talk to a supervisor and explain how dissatisfied I was with the work they did he hung up on me. They take no responsibility for their own mistakes and have zero customer service. To top it off, they didn't even send me an invoice, (I had originally paid half of the job) they send me a notice of lean on my house, trying to threaten me.I would NEVER recommand this company to anyone. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

Perhaps Cummings is well versed in residential plumbing jobs, but as far as large jobs go... they are completely oblivious. We had our first tech arrive on site to survey the job over 2 months ago and they still haven't even begun. Over three visits and two no shows on appointments, we've decided to use another business. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Cummings plumbing heating and cooling company doesn’t even deserve a star but you have to mark one to post so I gave them one which they don’t deserve i’ve been screwed ever since day one . When my outside compressor started going out they talked me into buying their cooler unit which was my biggest mistake ! My heater worked just fine but their cooler unit continuously poured water down through the heater unit and blower system and I had to keep calling them to come out to fix it which they never did any thing really , all they ever did was charge me the over $300 show up fee . At first they said the heater unit for the system would only cost me $1000 but I did not need one at that moment until their cooler running water down over everything took out the blower motor the fuse for the blower motor the motherboard and the heater then I had no choice but to buy a heater which was then $2500 Because now I needed it . The same family crew couple that installed the cooler in the first place install the heater and put the screws through the wiring which shorted out the wiring and blew out the new motherboard main fuses and when the guy came to fix that he told me why didn’t they install your new thermostat which you did pay for And they’re not cheap I told him they must’ve kept it or sold it to somebody else for more of a profit . And when they put the cooler back on top of the heater system they beat it in with a mallet and 2 x 4 and then it was crooked and they had to forcefully get it out to pound back in and said it was in there good enough and then left so now I had water still running out of the cooler all over the new system which I had them come out and look and the guy said the whole inside system of the cooler needs to be replaced and he said I was under warranty so he would order one and when it came in they would set up an appointment when they called me . And by chance I noticed in my email that they said I had made an appointment for Monday for them to come and install it which I never did they did and never told me luckily I was home or I would’ve been charged for them showing up with me not being here . When I talk to the lady she said when it says warranty it means coils only and luckily this time it was a different installer and he took out the coil’s and the new ones went right in with no problem so now I have to do is see how it goes to see if water still runs down over the new system that nothing goes out and I seen the guy who had talked us into buying the cooler the first time and he had said they are good colors but practice coolers They are all new systems the first ones they all had to recall because they made them out of the wrong metal which split so they remade them with a different metal which seems to hold but everybody that bought them has called into them continuously to have something fixed because something is always going wrong . That really wasn’t something I wanted to hear but be careful because even the commercial says free estimate they will charge you a show up fee ! So hopefully I don’t need to ever call them again but I don’t know yet and they have nickeled and dimed us to death. It was all a big mistake because I thought they were a trustworthy good company to go with and I never did get my new thermostat though I was promised one because it cost me a few hundred dollars . So be cautious when dealing with Cummings plumbing !!!

All the workers who have replaced my plumbing have been excellent. They’ve been cheerful, professional, on time, done great work and cleaned up afterwards. Brian K did a quick and excellent job of patching an overlooked hole. I will recommend Cummings Plumbing to anyone having to have their pipes replaced. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

I had scheduled Cummings to come out and do the necessary Spring maintenance for my AC and also check on a problem I had of a odorl coming thru my ducts into the house.....first time using them. First off, they called and were ahead of schedule and in my area and asked if they could come early....Yeah! How often does that happen! They were very nice and professional and most of all my dog liked them! Anyway, they checked out my unit after we had discussed the odor coming inside from the vents. They were very thorough and showed me the problems inside the unit and discussed what possibly could be causing the smell inside. They were very specific about the condition of my gas pack unit and the likelihood that it would not survive for very long (12 years old). He priced a new unit for me which could be installed the following week and I went ahead and scheduled it. They were thorough with me, discussed all options, the price I felt was reasonable, and I felt comfortable going ahead with a new unit....I was not naïve about the age of mine and the potential that I would need a new unit soon. I had purposely picked Cummings as I felt they were a large company with a good name in the area and I also felt they would have the experience to diagnose the odor problem coming inside my home. No regrets!

So don't expect Cummings Plumbing to show up on the day that they schedule you or the time that they schedule you even if they send you a text message telling you that the tech will be there between this time and this time they will not I still haven't had my service that I requested through them when I call them to say well we can reschedule for tomorrow because my wife took the day off to be there between the time frame that they set up now they don't want to schedule me the very next day your scheduling problems is not my problem okay customer service sets up scheduling and if it gets missed you bump the next person so tomorrow schedule should have been bumped out if you're going to miss my schedule appointment and send me a text message telling me that I should be ready for the time well if Cummings Plumbing is not going to be ready for the time they schedule then they should not send the text confirming that that's the time it's going to be I'm not very happy and I haven't even become a customer I expect a discount!

Still in progress, but the leak is stopped for now, by shutting off a valve I didn't see or could have reached. Hopefully the needed part can be found and replaced quickly. Knowing this company from past plumbing problems and the always friendly employees (people who really care) I'm positive it will be fixed soon 😊❤️

Jeremy was an excellent listener. He came to our house today to give us 2 quotes on new water heaters, one for a tank, and one for tankless. He also helped us repair our water faucets in both the front and back of our house, which have been doing a slow leak year round- more so in the winter when it's cold. He also figured out why our old water heater was leaking, and needed to be replaced and filled out a homeowner's insurance form stating as much.

This is the worst company ever. They installed a A/C unit on my home 3 years ago. I have had problems with ever since. I have spent over 3,000 to maintain and they want another 6,000 to keep it going. I called another company and they fixed it for 500.

I called this company 4 times to get ABSOLUTELY nothing done. They sent out a tech who told me he had to replace a part. I said i had to discuss pricing with my wife since I didnt feel comfortable with the price he quoted since this isnt the first time ive had this replaced. About $100 difference in labor and the part is on warranty still which is the only reason i havent junked this thing. Waited for his qoutes to be emailed to me for 3 days. Nothing. Then when I call they tell me they are closed for the weekend and proceeded to be hostile over the phone when I was explaining what happened. I was told they wont get my message until monday which is total B.S. since I had a guy come out the last time on a saturday to do the job and it was done in 30 minutes. Not 2 hours which I was qouted at about 125 an hour to replace a box i just had replaced which the tech then told me they will use recycled parts since the water heater is discontinued. Anyways, robbery is not the best business practices and make sure this isnt a repeat customer youre trying to scam for more money. I am utterly disappointed with this place.

I had to have my entire house replumbed due to PolyB piping throughout that had caused 3 leaks within the past year. The plumber Jake and his apprentice Fausto were here for 4 days and completed the replumb quickly and professionally. Jake came up with some very innovative methods for replumbing the master bath cabinet sinks without removing a very large mirror or removing tile from a whirlpool tub. Both were friendly and answered any questions I had about the job. I would recommend Jake and Cummings Plumbing for any plumbing job, but especially for any replumb work needed.

Cummings Plumbing was amazing. I had a terrible leak coming out of my guest bathroom wall. It flooded my hall, master bedroom, living room and both bathrooms. I called late afternoon and was able to get an appointment the next day. I called other plumbing companies there was at least a four day wait to get someone to fix my plumbing. Joey was the plumber who came to see and fix my pipe he did an amazing job. He is super nice, friendly, and caring. If you have to get your pipes fixed ask for Joey. He also wrote a plumbers report to give to my insurance company. Cummings plumping is a great company to work with. I would use them again in a heart beat.

My bathroom sink was leaking. Plumber noted that the faucet needs to be replaced, so I am waiting for the replacement to be delivered for installation.

I had a leak under a toilet in master bathroom. Service technician, Andres, was prompt, professional and very courteous. He inspected all possible reasons from the front meter to bathroom and determined that only the wax ring needed to be replaced. This was my first thought as well but I'm not an expert. Andres quickly got to work and the job was finished quickly. I was very impressed by how clean everything was after he finished. I will use Cummings Plumbing again.

Everyone here was so friendly and prompt in getting us help for our water heater. Unfortunately we found out it was an electrical problem but luckily for us they have an electrician on their team as well! If we ever have any issues we will call Cummings Plumbing every time.

Had a plumber from this company come out to give me an estimate on a new water heater, he was continuing to fast talk me and not explain the three estimates he showed me not to mention a large amount of extra stuff I do not need. Then I mention a tankless water heater to be installed and he told me that those are 5000-7000.. which is hilarious because 6 six years ago I had a tank less heater installed in another house for $1600.00 from spartan plumbing... SO the $2500 estimate for a water heater is saying to me to go somewhere else. Make sure you do you homework and shop around

Company texted and emailed me a pic and brief background of technician that was on his way. The kid showed up I explained my water heater was leaking from the top. I had done some googling and watched some YouTube videos so I had an idea what was wrong but I was unable to remove the problem part (a $15 part). He looked said he didn’t know if he would be able to get the part off without damage, said let me see if we have the part on the truck and get you a quote. Came back with a quote of $350! But did not have the part with him. I did not get a good feeling about the whole experience so I will look elsewhere.Update: found another plumber and he fixed it for $75. He replaced the part I had suspected was bad. All good.

It was 106 degrees when we arrived Saturday at our Tucson vacation home and our AC worked fine. The following afternoon it abruptly ceased working. Cummings answered our Sunday call and had a technician there first thing Monday am. The compressor had ceased working and unit needed to be replaced. We determined to replace entire AC unit and Cummings was able to start the job the following morning and complete replacement by late afternoon! Timely, courteous, helpful throughout. While replacing an AC unit is not cheap, the price was fair and the work was terrific and salvaged the remainder of our stay in a very hot week in May!

Cummings Plumbing, Heating & Cooling sent JT to my residence previously to install 2 new water heaters to replace two old ones that were installed in 2005. JT did an outstanding job installing both water heaters timely and professionally. Once again my third water heat that was also installed in 2005 started leaking yesterday in the garage. I called Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling again yesterday since the last time they worked at my home, their service and knowledge was impeccable. I ask if they could send JT back to my residence since he did such a great job installing the last two water heaters. He was dispatched on the date and time I requested and he showed up ready to go to work. This young man is absolutely knowledgeable. He completed the work within the time frame given and gave me some additional information on what he had observed with my piping that needed repair. We suspected we had a leak because of a very high water bill. I called Cummings and Andres was here the next morning. He understood the problem and found that even if the water to the house was shut off, the meter was registering water usage. This company takes advantage of elderly ladies. My mom called them, and did not perform any work and charged $125 for turning her cooler on. The supervisor said my should of told the professional technician what was wrong with her cooler if she wanted it fixed. She is in her 70's and that's why she hired a professional to fix whatever was wrong with her cooler. We asked for a refund and they gave us a hard time, didn't call my mom back for more then 2 weeks. I had to call them and tell to the supervisor, he finally agreed to paying a refund but only if we removed a bad review, I removed the bad review to get my refund but still felt like they handled the situation very unprofessionally. Would never recommend this company.

They were very quick in getting someone out to assess the issue and repair. However, we had questions about the repair that was done and have called twice in as many days and were told twice that the Supervisor (Joseph) would return out call but he hasn’t bothered to call this paying customer back. Seems that once they have your money you are no longer important to them to bother with a call back. Poor customer service once they have your money.

They did a great job. I had no issues since the job was done. Very professional company. You get what you pay for. I was satisfied 100 percent!

I called for an estimate to have my septic looked at and possibly pumped. I had not yet moved into the house, they arrived 2.5 hours early. I told them I would meet them in an hour with a drawing where the tank was. They called an me back a half hour later, jumped my fence and just started digging! The estimate was twice what anyone else wanted. My yard is dug up in a place that is not where the tank is. I'm shocked!

He was decisive, explanatory, and competent. He offered the most affordable way to fix a slow leak I had on a pipe coming from my water heater. Another plumbing company quoted me 3x as much with a very overly complicated process that was both unnecessary and over priced. After spending $12000 on new pipes just 9 monthes ago —one of the pipes failed -they say it must be a faulty connection and took no responsibility at all. After we waited all weekend because no one got back to us at any of their phone numbers even though they say they have 24 hour service 7 days a week - I called on Monday morning ... we had to turn off all the water - no toilets no showers no washing dishes etc - they sent a supervisor down who took my bath towels and put them up into the dry wall and called a guy to replace the connection and charged us !!!!! They took No Resposibility at all DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Used these guys for years, always good service and fair prices. Today I do not get my usual plumber (he left, hummm wonder why?) and the guy they send tells me he's gonna work up a price for me first (that is new) and then hits me with an estimate that is easily twice what I would expect to pay based on my history with this company. That is insane. Put in two faucets (and I bought the faucets) and its over 600 bucks? I do not know who made this change but I am no longer a customer and they should really rethink their pricing. I do not mind paying for good service but this is just way out of bounds. No longer a customer and will no longer rec'mend them. Shame on you guys.

We have add several serious home issues in the last few months. Cummings has been there within a few hours everytime. I cannot say enough good things about the speed of their service and the professionalism of their team. They usually even show up earlier than the appointment time which is nice when the AC is out or the toilet is overflowing into the floor. They might be slightly more expensive than other places but you get what you pay for. They are the single best home repair company I have dealt with in Tucson.

Previous experience in 2002 was very positive, but our recent experience in February of 2017 was anything but positive. Quotes were misleading , secondary contractors were overkill and unnecessary, regulations were not explained well or left us ill-informed. Seamed more like a conspiracy with subcontractors and insurance company that were motivated to take the consumer for as much as possible.Almost $3000 for a 40 gal mobile home compliment hot water tank seams excessive to my thinking.

Joey was professional, knowledgeable & kind. We was able to clear the clogged sewer line very quickly. Would HIGHLY recommend him.

Everyone was very professional and they were on time when they said they would be to replaced a whole house HVAC system in 1 day. That included disconnecting the old one and installing the new system. Additionally, the wall was scratched getting the unit into the attic through the ceiling opening but they sent their finishing crew out to fix it and they did an excellent job, you cannot tell where the scratch was... I am happy with this company and Sue was wonderful, she made sure everything went smoothly and she was a pleasure to work with. (With that said) everyone who came out was great to work with, they were very respectful and made sure to keep us in the loop throughout the day. I highly recommend calling Cummings Heat and Air if you are needing any HVAC work.

Kenneth and Danny jetted all the waste lines in our house out to the street sewer. They flushed out an unbelievable amount of nasty sludge from under our island kitchen sink. Our house is only 12 years old and we bought it 9 months ago.The slow draining kitchen sink has been an issue since shortly after we moved in. After jetting the waste lines, they scoped the lines with a camera, and proved to us the pipes were clear The Cummings Plumbing technicians were extremely professional, clean and thorough.Earlier that day, we had a nationally-known competing plumbing company out, who told us they put a camera through the lines, and that we had a belly in a couple of our pipes--that the original lines probably had not been properly backfilled. (They never actually showed us the video.) They told us that correcting the problem would mean jackhammering up our ceramic tile floor and re-laying the pipes. It turned out, there was no bellying in the pipes at all. And, their estimate for jetting all the waste lines was more than twice what the Cummings estimate was! Turns out that the competing company is commission based on their sales, whereas Cummings techs are paid by the hour. I'm SO thankful that our realtor recommended calling Cummings for a second opinion!

I replaced my old AC unit with a new one using this company a couple of years ago and my air-conditioning has been fantastic ever since. Everyone at the company was courteous and helpful! Before the AC installation they also pointed out some additional plumbing problems that I didn’t even realize which was also very helpful.

The gentleman was very kind and on time but did not try to unplug my drain just assumed it was a break and rescheduled for someone to come out and run a camera for $350 .00 to assess the damage that could of potentially costed thousands to fix . So I called a friend and they got the plug unclothed with a snake there was no break in the pipe. Was charged 50.00 problem fixed

Jordan Benjamin quickly evaluated the problem and had identified the failed component, within five minutes. An exact replacement part was on the truck. Time to replace was reasonable.We have had other techs out for service and they took an hour plus to figure out the problem.

Drain on little used shower was plugged. TV camera reveled pipe glue stuck in drain. Snake tool broke the jam and cleared drainpipe. YEA !

Migel arrived earlier than expected. Checked out why my furnace didn't heat. Fixed the problem in a short amount of time. He checked to make sure it was producing the correct temperature and left every thing looking good. Thanks, Arlyne Rhode

The problem began when the drywaller forgot to hook up the drain for the washing machine after competing drywall work behind the washer and dryer. I put a load of clothing in to wash just before bed and when I woke to go to the bathroom that night I stepped into water in our bedroom; we soon realized that the washer had drained into the hallway and our bedroom. My husband and I spend time using our towels to soak up all of the water still standing. In the morning the drywaller admitted his mistake and made a call to his boss explaining the water situation to include information about the water leaking into our bedroom and onto the wood laminate floors. He indicated that he could see the floor starting to bubble and that the damage would continue as the water moved through the floor. Cummings sent a supervisor to look at the floor, and I was informed that a water mitigation company would need to come immediately to assess the damage and determine next steps- he stressed that we would need to follow their expert instructions. The water mitigation company came and spent time explaining that the washer and dryer would need to come out, the floor come up, and dehumidifiers and fans placed to dry the affected area out; he also informed me that this could take days. I informed him that we could not block access to our hallway or our master bath ( our only accessible bathroom and sink) as we have an adult daughter with significant disabilities, (to include paraplegia). He stated that he would let the Cummings supervisor know. The supervisor returned quickly and asked what we needed-I explained the access issue, and due to the information shared by the water mitigation company, we would not be able to stay here- we would need accommodation for us, my daughter and our two dogs. He stated that this was no longer a simple problem and that insurance would now need to be accessed for a claim, and he had to push this up to a supervisory level. We never saw or spoke to that supervisor again. Late in the day I received a call from Mike/supervisor stating that we just needed to get the floor replaced, and I should go that day to pick out the floor, and we could most likely get it in by Monday (3 days), the floor was not dry by Monday, and they finished replacing it on Thursday. He indicated that he had been doing this for 30 years and he knew the owner of the water mitigation company and basically discredited everything the water mitigation worker had told us. I stated that we were just following the direction of the experts they sent out, and that I had spent the better part of the day waiting to hear next steps. He said he had just heard about this later in the day and made statements like , why wouldn't we just put a new floor in, and they could arrange the fans so my daughter could access the bathroom etc etc, insinuating we were not doing the right thing. more to follow...

Everyone from the company is well trained and helpful. Vincent was able to diagnose our problems correctly and handle details to get our problem solved. We’ve had other companies try to analyze and did so incorrectly. We will never use any other plumbing service.

Damien and (sorry I cannot remember his name) his partner took care of my bathtub/shower faucet installation and new flex lines and valves in a little over an hour, on the same day that I called for service. It wasn't the simplest of jobs, but both knew what they were doing and walked me through it. They were personable and professional, another reason I have used Cummings Plumbing over the years.

We woke up to a flood on our first floor and I called Cummings who came within 30 minutes of the call. It was early morning and they got right to work letting us know what needed to happen. They also called in the Restoration Team to start drying out the place. It was a great help not having to figure out what the next step should be. Over the next week they were here when they said they were going to be and I appreciated the text to give me a heads up on when they would arrive. They were very conscientious about the work. Levi and Jack did a great job for us, and the customer service of the office staff was excellent as well. I appreciated their professionalism and their help throughout the process. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you so much for helping us to minimize this otherwise painful process.

Had a problem with my AC. My technician Zach was very knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly identified and fixed the problem. Can highly recommend. Will definitely ask for Zach again for any future issues.

While not the least expensive option, Cummings is a highly professional and tech-savvy company which I recommend for mission-critical/permitted jobs. My one knock was estimator did not pass along details of most recent job to technician, who had to make multiple runs to get missing parts.

Another a/c company tried to really take advantage of me. I was so overwhelmed and worried about the cost of repairs and needed a second opinion. Cummings were just great! They came out right away, made sense of the situation and are very affordable! John was so kind and honest, I will be calling them for all my repairs! Super great people all around! Miguel and his crew came out yesterday and installed a complete new air conditioning system in my house. They were on time and completed the job in the time that they said they would.Everything was working good. We did require a return visit the next day just for a tune up on the thermostat, but that was done quickly and satisfactorily by Miquel as well. This is a costly expense for anyone but I have no problem recommending Cummings and their crew to anyone needing a new air conditioning system.

Service tech Carl came out to inspect our hot water circulating pump. He offered solutions and will be back in a few days to install a new updated pump. He was terrific!

Well...I will certainly never call again for service. My house wasnt cooling properly and thinking it just may need servicing. Maybe top off the freon. I was told by your service techs that i need to replace the compressor and the coil for a total of $7000.00!! The split unit didnt even cost 3600.00. Luckily I found paperwork on AC. Turns out my mothers oxygen concentrator and tv and others were warming the house. My AC is cooling the house just fine now those things are no longer in use. What a rip off!!

Originally quoted me $180 to replace a check valve. Tried to bill me before work was completed several times. One week later, plumber shows up to finish job and doubles the total billed to almost $400. PVC parts were billed at 200 dollars when I can buy the parts at Home Depot for 40 dollars.Additionally, I told the plumber to authorize any work or charges over $200 with me. He called to tell me the total would be $180.I highly recommend to check out another company for your plumbing needs.

I had one of your techs come out to do a service maintenance but the tech did not state what he actually did? I think that for 149.00 for ac maintenance the tech should in detail describe the service provided. I was just told my systems are old and end of life but he did not state what he actually did?

Many months ago we were made aware of Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling by our daughter who had received terrific service when their water heater failed. Before we ever had need of their service we referred Cummings to our neighbor who had a water heater burst. Out of the 5 other companies she contacted Cummings was the only one that said they would respond same day. They showed up hours before scheduled time and had her new water heater installed and operating to her extreme satisfaction in very short order. When it came time for us to require their services we did not hesitate and called them right away. The office person I spoke with was friendly, concerned and very helpful. She asked precise and specific questions to determine the best course of action and was very clear about what we could expect including a very tight window for our scheduled service appointment. Our Service Tech Issac Cruz contacted me by phone to confirm and even showed up before scheduled appointment time. Issac was clean polite and presentable. He showed great concern and care as we moved through the house and listened intently while I explained our issues. After understanding what we needed he was very clear and concise with details and options for the repair. After receiving a detailed quote for toilet replacement, he was able to have a brand-new unit delivered and replaced the very same day! We through no fault of Issac or Cummings required a couple of follow up visits, the office and Issac took care of us right away in rapid and professional manner. Because of our fantastic service as well as our family and neighbors experience Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling have a customer for life! In Tucson it's not a matter of if you'll need their service, it's just a matter of when. It is great to know a company and their employees that really do take great pride in their work, thank you all for a job well done!

My sister who owns the home has told me that years ago she had used Cummings years ago. And had a good experience with Cummings very professional and Adan was very attentive in our issue. Even shared our history about the early days growing up in our neighborhood compared to where he grew up!

These jokers with their goofy ad campaigns. Whelp requested an appointment for a hot water heater replacement. Whelp 5 days out, 2 hour window wasn’t enough. Get a call 1:40 minutes the tech would be late. Then only almost 4 hours later, mind you this is now the evening and he calls. GTFO! First off this is not some tiny 2 plumber outfit. Second they could have either sent someone else or asked to reschedule. Sorry this wasn’t a call to be overcharged for a clogged drain or leaky faucet. Regardless a week later I had my new water heater installed elsewhere with no hassles and a fair price. PFT these jokers.

Joey P. came out to inspect our gas lines--exactly on time and courteously called before arrival. Our gas pipes had failed check by gas co. Recognizing they were too old to safely repair, Joey P. quickly analyzed our requirements and provided repair estimate including expected timeline. It wasn't good news but Joey P. did a terrific job establishing rapport with us, explaining the situation and our options without being pushy. Joey P. earned our trust and we're going with Cummings for the repair.

Showed up on time, understood the problem and went right to work trying to solve the problem. It turned out to be more extensive than we thought to clear the blockage out of the line. Odus B. stayed right with the problem and continued working at it until the line was clear and flowing freely.He even was kind enough to help me look at the baffle side of the tank and the leaching line side of the tank with water flowing continually to make sure we did not have a problem that was not obvious or apparent. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was solved.When we need service or help again in the future we will definitely call Cummings Plumbing, we are returning customers but with great help like Odus it only makes it an easy decision on calling Cummings Plumbing for future work.

I set appointment to bid replacement of our 4 ton and 2 ton units. We are about5 minutes south of Green Valley. They called the day of the appointment to say there is a $127.00 bid fee to my location.There is no fee to a location 5 minutes closer. The bid would probably be at least in the range of 15 to $20,000. They wanted $127 just to bid. I refused.

My water heater died on Sunday morning. I called the number on the website, and filled out the request for service on the website. Both said someone would get back to me soon. Nobody ever did. I drained the water heater.Monday morning I called the main number and was told that someone could come between 5 and 7 p.m. I had a previous commitment, so took an appointment for 12-2:30 on Tuesday. After 2 on Tuesday I got a call saying they were backed up and it would be awhile. I got a call at 4, saying that the technician was leaving Tubac to come to my house. I asked if anyone was closer. Another technician was, and came over. He gave me the quotation and I asked if the water heater was in his truck. He said that the warehouse closes at 4, so he can’t get it until tomorrow. I should have been told those hours with the first appointment offer, which was after 5, so couldn’t include an installation. Erwin was assigned to come on Wednesday at 8:00. He and an assistant came and took care of everything in a couple of hours and the water heater works well.I like the service, when it was finally done. But a bit more communication would make a big difference:1. On both the website and appointment answering machine it should state that calls are only returned during work hours, if it’s not a 24 by 7 service. I kept waiting for a return call or text.2. For any later appointments, whether the original appointment or an earlier one that was rescheduled, I should have been told that the installation couldn’t happen until the next day.3. I’m accustomed to being called the day after a substantial purchase to ask if everything is working okay. This is just a courtesy call, but it gives me confidence that the business cares about my business. In this case, when I was scheduled, and rescheduled, and waited a long time, and was rescheduled, it would have made me feel better about the customer care. It didn’t feel like this was the same Cummings Plumbing advertised on TV.

We are in the process of selling our house and the home inspector said that there might be a code violation with our hot water heater. Joey came out and quickly found that everything was up to code and relayed his findings to the inspector and the realtor. His professional and knowledge and how he managed the situation will bring me back with any of my plumbing problems.

We have used Cummings for years and called them today to install a kitchen sink faucet. When the plumber arrived he said they had new flat rate pricing and the charge would be $304, after a senior discount. We were over a barrel so we went ahead, but I felt WAY over charged. It was a twenty minute job.The lesson: Ask what the flat rate will be for your job, before they come out.It's been a good run with Cummings, but no more

Had a pipe break/burst that was under warranty- they responded that evening - after hours! Repair was completed the next morning by 09:00…extremely satisfied. Will continue to do business with a company that takes pride in their work and understands the customers perspective.

The service John provided was for a mini split system quote. He was professional, and seemed to know his job very well. We are still searching to see if the quote was reasonable.

John explained what had happened and then got us a bid on a replacement and provided information to financing the unit. This was on Saturday and the new unit will be installed starting on Monday. I was impressed on John's sincere desire to help us keep cool with a quality product.

Plumbing suddenly backed up on a Saturday morning. Cummings was able to service in the afternoon and cleared the clog in about 30 minutes. Allowed me to view the camera screen as they scoped the pipe and answered all my questions. We've used them in the past and will continue to do so.

Called Cummings for a clogged toilet. Talked to Andrea who set up a time slot for a tech to be out. Received a text verifying the time slot, the name and photo of the tech. Rene Figueroa showed up on time, was very polite, professional and personable. He took a look at the problem finding out that the toilet was the issue and needed replaced. Since that is something my son can replace for me, there was no charge and no pressure to use Cummings for the job. Would definitely call Cummings for any future plumbing problems and would ask for Rene! Thanks also to Andrea and Rebel whom I spoke to when I called.

William Patterson arrived on time and finding the problem he explained what our repair would entail. He and his assistant went to work completing the repair and throughly cleaning the area repaired. He was very courteous and professional and is an asset to your company.

Great follow up and trustworthy. The quote for repair was a bit high.

First the good news. I discovered our hot water tank leaking at 1am and we had company coming in 2 days. I called Cummings when they opened and they were able to get me an appointment at 2pm that same day. They arrived promptly and confirmed it needed to be replaced. I give them high marks for responsiveness. Now the bad news. The estimate to replace was a big number and only when I balked did they offer a 5% reduction for being a repeat customer, which they knew I was before the initial estimate. Didn't offer it before. I asked for the cost of the heater itself as part of the estimate and was told the job was a flat rate with no itemization. I was in a bind time wise so told them to go ahead. There were alot of dirty smudges on the hallway wall when they finished and we haven't been able to get the wall clean. They had turned the furnace off but didn't restart it or tell me it was off. I discovered this as the house got colder. I think the total cost was high, but I don't have other estimates to verify that.

Cummings was able to see us same day to fix a leak. They even arrived early and let us know when they were on the way. The job looks great and the issue was fixed to meet or exceed our expectations

Cummings Plumbing provided a very fair quote to repipe my townhouse and get rid of the nightmare polybutylene pipes. I got 4 quotes to complete the job and decided to use Cummings after Michael D. came out to give me a quote. He was very professional, personable, and took the time to explain everything in detail that would be done. Michael was a pleasure to deal with, he made sure the job was done correctly and within a reasonable time. Jesse the plumber went above and beyond to correct minor issues the inspector found which may have been faulty prior. He did a great job. The workers were efficient, cleaned up and overall I would recommend. It has been one year and there hasn’t been any problems!

The team that Cummings sent to install a tankless water heater was awesome. I didn’t think the electrical part of the job could be done based on what others had told me. Overall I am pleased with the service I called at 8am this morning and Cummings left my house around 9;30am and had addressed and fixed the issue a bad capacitor in the air handler. In addition they cleaned out the condensation line. THe tech Marcus was on time and had the parts needed to fix the issue on hand. Fast and speedy service and nice tech to deal with,This being said I did learn and do feel I paid on the high end for this service ($300.00 replacing a bad capacitor) and $100.00 to clean a condensation line which they did offer a $50.00 discount on the condensation line cleaing since I paid the full amount on the capacitor. I guess I can look at the bright side I got excellent service and immediate repair for my issue but also paid top dollar for it.

Tyler Vance was was very good about inspecting all the lines in our crawl space and could not find the leak He contacted his boss to see if they had equipment to find a leak in the ground but there equipment only worked on concrete. He told us who to call and we said after the other company found the leak. Great young man.

I did a ton of reading reviews to find the right company. This company had both good and bad. But working in the customer service industry you tend to understand some of the bad reviews are just really bad customers.A lot of other plumbing companies wanted to come out to give me an estimate. Although this may be the preferred method I already knew what I needed so I didn't want to waste time by scheduling, meeting and then waiting for the work to be performed.They came out the next day to repair my issues (valve replacements). Their repair men were courteous and friendly (Ask for Gerald). Unfortunately I had ran into more issues with my home renovation. I called them out and again they got the job done right. I will say they are a little expensive but as a handy person myself, you get what you pay for.There are some things homeowners just shouldn't do and plumbing is one of them. Leave it to the professionals.All in all, you pay the $99 service call charge, which diagnoses your issue and if they have the parts they do the repair right then and there. If they don't have the parts they come back the next day with the part and well you don't get charged an additional $99, just for the remaining work.I also had them come out to do my air-duct cleaning, which was great. I mean it's a typical cleaning not a whole lot to expect but cleaner air.I will definitely use them again for service and would recommend to anyone who needs someone immediately.

I just called in and spoke to a young woman about getting my Google Nest thermostat C-Wires installed in two of my homes. After asking a few questions about your scheduling/estimate process, I wasn't super sold on getting something booked. I live out of town and based on how your companies estimate process is, I wasn't sure this was going to be the best option for me. I told her I was going to call around and see what some other options are for me. She then proceeded to say in a very immature/dismissive tone, Okay, good luck. Byeeee. That type of behavior will never win a customer over. In fact, it just lost you one.I will not be calling back to use this companies service because of that.

Tyler assessed the problem (a fallen sink) and told us we need a handyman or carpenter to fix the counter before he can work on the sink. Didn’t charge us. Will be back when we are ready.

My A/C went out and John Taylor arrived as scheduled and fixed the problem promptly. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. I was also impressed with the professionalism of the person answering the phone. Price was reasonable and I am very happy. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend them.

Besides installaion of a new garbage disposal, 2 weeks later my furnace died., on the two coldest days of February this year, John T responded promptly and sent what I'm calling, the A team of workers to remove and install a new furnace, that was functional and providing heat so I didn't have another night in a 52 degree house. I called Cummings Plumbing @ 1:15 pm on a Saturday, they said they would have a technician out between 2-4 pm, they sent me an e-mail that said between 2-3pm, and the tech called at 1:45 saying he was on his way! That’s the first reason to call this company!The tech Keith L., showed up 10-15 minutes later, did a thorough inspection, provided me with a few professional diagnosis followed by a three step plan to confirm and treat my water leak.Keith just left after step one, I have no idea if he’s right or wrong yet, but he walked me through everything, I watched everything he found, and after his explanations, it made complete sense to me.I’ve been in Tucson for 8 years, and this is by far the best response i’ve had from any company. My wife had them install a water heater as I was unable to take care of it at the time. Good heater, good installation, but I almost s#!# my pants when she told my it was $1800. This company refuses to tell me how much the heater was and how much the labor was ( 2 guys, 1.5 hours). The invoice doesn't even say, just lists one price. Research shows the heater RETAILS for about $800 to $900, just under $1000 with tax, so the labor, 3 hours, was $800. Never again will I use this company.

The installation crew arrived today to install our replacement AC unit. They removed the old one, adapted the new one and installed it while the temperature was 107 degrees. The crew was knowledgeable, neat and performed their work in a very professional manner. They cleaned up when they were done and tested the unit to ensure everything operated properly. I highly recommend Cummings if you need any AC repairs.

We were in Tucson for inspections on a house we are buying and needed a plumber to follow up on two potential plumbing problems flagged in the inspection. We discovered a leak on Monday and our home warranty company couldn’t send anyone until Wednesday. We called Cummings and they were at our house Monday evening. Erwin determined the faucet needed to be replaced. I bought a new faucet on Tuesday and Erwin returned Wednesday to install. Again he was right on time and reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cummings, and if you get Erwin… bonus!!

The guys were very respectful of my property. The way they do the cutting of the drywall makes it easier for the drywallers to fix when they come back. They put texture on the walls that other than the color of the paint, you wouldn't know it was done at a different time. I had a couple things that needed fixed and they were there the same day. I've heard horror stories about companies who do this as it usually encompasses every room in the house. This company from the estimate to the review did a great job.

I purchased a water heater from a large hardware store but their contractor installation estimate was ridiculously high and I didn’t recognize the plumber they provided. I called Cummings Heating and Plumbing because they are well known and established in Tucson. They provided a free estimate to install my water heater. Vincent arrived that evening in clean company van projecting a professional image and gave me reasonable estimate options and scheduled my install. The install went very smoothly and I had hot water within a couple of hours. Vincent was friendly, professional and efficient during the estimate and installation. Advertised $99 but wanted $249. Their website shows $99 drain cleaning over a picture of someone taking apart a u-trap. I had a clogged shower and they said that promotion is only for clean-outs.

We had a significant leak, found it late on Friday. They had a leak detector out on Saturday. The other company could not get someone out for over 10 days. We are grateful.

Found a coupon for $59 for AC tune up and service. The worker was very polite but all he did was check the Freon pressure, the voltage across the capacitor and put a thermometer in the vent to measure the air coming out. He told me there was nothing wrong with the system and it was working proberly. No adjustments were made, did not clean coils. Nothing. I just paid $59 to have them say there's nothing wrong. Next time I'll call GOETTL.

On a Sunday, my 2 year old AC system failed. Monday morning, Carlos came out and diagnosed a burnt out blower motor. He said they would have to get one ordered as they did not have one readily on hand. The next day, Carlos and another technician arrived with a replacement motor; however, after attempting to install it, the motor was determined to be a bad fit for my system and they would have to order the correct replacement. I never heard anything back from the company until two days later when I called to find out what was happening. I was told the part was on a UPS truck and they would inform me when it arrived. Later that day my wife and I became concerned as the heat of the day was making our house too warm so I called and got the number for the business owner. I finally got to talk to Mr. Cummings around 5 PM and he was very apologetic and assured me his people would take care of everything the next day. Friday, we heard nothing until I called in the early afternoon only to be told they could not locate the part, but would send over two portable AC units to cool my house down until they could find the part. Around 5 PM, Carlos and the other technician showed up with the correct part (we never did get the portable AC units) and they were finished installing the new motor very quickly, then they left just as quickly. They never looked at my compressor, or my thermostat, just left! The temp in my house at that time was 78 degrees. After waiting a couple of hours, I rechecked my thermostat and it now read 79 degrees! I called the company and they sent out a different technician who said he had to re-wire the system as something had been changed during the motor remount, and that the system would have never run the way they left it.

We have a home warranty on our house. Water heater went out and after 5 months without hot water, the service provider we were scheduled with went back on their word and did not install it for us. Called Cummings plumbing and Issac came out in less than 24hours to give us a bid. Within 2 days (including the weekend) Issac came back out to install our new water heater. Very pleased with how easy and smooth everything went. Could not be more satisfied.

Warning!!! This company will try to rip you off. Due to sewer smell in our bathroom we contacted them. Technician showed up on time and we told them about the smell. I told him what I did so far which; 1.)I checked the vent lines on the roofs and they looks good. 2.) I replaced wax toilet ring and toilet holding water.3.) There was no back up either in shower or toilet and both water and waste drains seemed fine. He used video equipment to check our main sewer lines under the house. After inspecting all the pipes showed us piping under the toilet cracked and also drain for our laundry room doesn't look very good. He tried to convince us that we needed a new perma liner installed in all the pipes under the house. His estimate was $27.995.00. He also proudly mentioned this work comes with 50 years warranty.The funny part was after he left I sealed the bathroom fan and smell is gone. It was a dead animal in the ceiling causing the smell.

Called Cummings to run a sewer snake down a plugged drain. Charged $752, for an hour's work. Left me with a bid of $1700, to come back and replace a five foot piece of drain pipe to truly fix the problem! Unbelievable!

Kenneth was Great! Not only was he up front and honest about why we should replace our current water heater, he took his time to inform us what working parts he was going to update and total cost it would be. He used his time to do a professional job and made sure every new part installed, worked properly. As a matter of fact, during the water filling up the new water heater he made a statement that the tank shouldn’t take that long to fill up. He went around to the side of the house and tested the water pressure. Kenneth found that our water pressure regulater was defective. He was very professional and helpful, explaining everything in detail to me (a longtime mechanic but novice at HVAC) so that I could understand. He had state-of-the-art equipment and although he was working on a dinosaur (aged) unit, and in 100+ degree heat, it took him almost no time to access and get the unit working. I called for emergency after hours drain cleaning because our housesitter had a drain emergency. A guy came out within an hour and fixed the problem right away. It was not cheap. Almost $400 for 30 minutes work. But hey, it was the middle of the night so I won't complain.

On Sunday morning all of a sudden nothing would drain or flush so, by a little luck Cummings plumbing works on Sunday. They were out in the afternoon and the drains were clear in a few hours thanks to Tyler he doesn't give up. There is more to investigate here the house is nearly 50 years old and having a camera inspection done this week by Cummings plumbing.

Gave me a $500 military discount, then proceeded to do work they did not consult/clear with me violating their own policy and written statement, then took $400 off the discount which was then added to my final charge for this extra work. Not arriving during stated windows or just show up unannounced and expecting me to be home. Said they tried to contact me once, yet I have had no missed calls or voicemails. Again, the work is done, but this is just a large corporation with no problems taking your money, so seek out another more reputable company.

I called about a leaky sink. Erwin (from Cummings) was here the next day. Found the leak and advised about general damage to the under-cabinet. Erwin will return when parts arrive. He also took the time to contact a restoration company for me. Very professional. I have used Cummings in the past and will continue to do so.

Jimmy came in to fix an electric line that had been cut during the pipe installation. He did his work was polite and courteous and very quiet.

The tech who came out was very knowledgeable but the price was just too high for us to afford. We got the work done at 2% of the price.

They installed a new bathtub, patched up the plumbing pipe. And did the drywall around the tub area. I was still kind of disappointed when I found out that it left two opposing walls open without drywall .nevertheless I reluctantly paid there l thought they're kind of expensive price for what was included. I think they could have done more. That's why they are getting three stars.

Cummings is nothing but 5 stars. We did it all with them- entire repipe of a historic house and new sewer line. Let me tell you it was not cheap but they are worth every penny. From the second we paid a deposit they had a team of people out there everyday doing work and it was the fastest I've ever seen a contractor work. They were in communication the whole time and very professional. We found them incredibly fair too- a few things were found as we opened up the house and there was zero nickel and diming, just honest work and doing the right thing. We already have more work planned with them but I wanted to leave them a great review for the work they had done so far. Shout out to Jake, Jessie, John(s) and the whole crew that made it happen for us. Would give 10 starts if I could.

I had them out for a seasonal AC check-up. Zachari R arrived on time as scheduled. He was friendly, professional and he took the time to answer my questions. But above all else, he was honest. He did not try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary repairs like 2 other companies tried to do. I highly recommend them. They are definitely my go-to plumbing and HVAC company🙂.

Had them come in to check out a slow faucet. While Brandon was perfectly nice, he really just listened to my description of what was happening, glanced under the sink, then said I needed to re-pipe the whole house and gave me a quote for that. Had a couple other plumbers come in for second and third opinions/bids, and they both disagreed with his diagnosis. Hired one of them, who was able to find the clogged joint near the water heater and fix it for a tenth of the quoted cost to re-pipe the house. So yeah... just do your research.
