Nick was the employee that provided todays service and his expertise and courteous manner were exemplary. This is the third time that I’ve had the pleasure of being assisted by such a reliable and honest company. Every person representing Picture Rocks HVAC share the same high degree of courtesy. Nothing but the VERY BEST seems to be their culture.

Picture Rocks came highly recommended by a friend of ours who is a realtor. We gave them a call around 4:45pm today, a Saturday, and the agent informed us that all their technicians had just gone home for the day. We then asked if they had a 24 hour company that they recommended (because who wants to be without A/C when it's over 100 degrees??) and the agent asked if she could call us back. No more than 10 minutes later they called us to let us know that they had a technician heading our way. Within about an hour our unit was fixed. The technician was friendly and very knowledgable and the price was very fair considering our need was after hours. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service! We will definately be using you for future service (hopefully not too soon though 😉) We will recommend you to everyone we know!

We recently had Picture Rocks give us an estimate for a new HVAC system. Ryan came out and went through our options with us without any hard sell. He also was extremely mindful of our budget. We signed the contract and within a week our new unit was installed. We apologize for not remembering the names of the guys that were here for the day long install, but they were all efficient, professional and personable. A few days after the install, we had an issue and called Ryan. He was on it immediately and sent someone out that very day. The problem was addressed and resolved to our complete satisfaction. In our opinion, you won't find a more customer oriented company to work with. We will always recommend and promote Picture Rocks Heating and Cooling to everyone we know!

I called these folks about my mother's cooler being on the fritz . They were on it in a heartbeat. They were to be there between 2 and 5 but were DONE by 2 and she was a COOL 92 YEAR OLD WOMAN again.
She had dealt with another company In Tucson who were taking advantage of her.

I've had a terrible time with the company Air Tropics. Rude workers, no shows, NEVER come out same day. This company however, I called at 6:30 at night. Showed within 30 minutes. Fixed my a/c. Charged a reasonable price and provided great service. I'd recommend them any day.

I’ve called multiple places to help me put in mini splits and I had the worst of time finding someone. I was referred to Picture Rocks and within a week I had split systems in each room. They make such a difference in my house. The employees were super helpful and did an amazing job setting everything up. I couldn’t be more happy with this company!

We had a service agreement with another HVAC company to take care of our A/C but have not been happy with their service over the years. We scheduled our summer maintenance appointment and the technician came to the house and within 5 minutes told us that our high stage compressor was not working and we needed a new system. Since Picture Rocks had replaced our water heater a few years ago, I called them for a second opinion. The technician spent the time to fully evaluate our system and we were told the compressor was working correctly but our unit was low on refrigerant. Because of the age of our unit, we decided to go ahead and have it replaced. The customer service was fantastic, from the technician, Austin, to the salespersons, Ryan and Luke, to the installation employees, Nick, Abe, Dillion, Javier, Javier's son, Luke, and Morgan. Thanks to all of you for competitive pricing and great customer service.

We had Morgan come out to look service our A/C as our puppies thought the wires looked delicious and chewed the wires. Morgan was so professional and he took time to answer all of my questions. I had to apologized for not knowing what we should do to keep our system running smooth. Morgan gave us a detailed explanation of the spring service and winter service. He then explained it in a way I fully understood. I do not think I could have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!!

Has an airconditioning/heater unit installed. The installation was done in a timely way and they showed up on time. After that day nothing else happened. I could not get the company to answer my calls in request that they process the rebate with the company which they insisted on doing. (later found out from the company that they had to) Finally had to go thru the company that manufactured the unit to get this company to process the rebate. The unit itself was installed poorly in that the unit was sitting crooked and the base was not the proper base per another company. Very disapointed. Spent a lot of money for this. A big investment. Not even a followup for 1 yr checkup. Was not conveying any problem on the phone. All calls were just inquiries. Have no idea why no communication.

this company is the best. my home warranty sent out their ac guy and well he failed. so I called the company I trust and Picture rocks cooling is the absolute best. AC stopped working, called and they had someone come over. The Electrician that was here at the same time, found the problem with the fuses. So there was no work for the AC Gentleman. I felt super guilty that there was no work for him to do and he did not even charge me a call out fee. Great service

Nicholas was very professional and friendly. He figured out what was wrong with the ac unit in about 10 minutes. My unit was shutting off after 30 minutes of running because it was over heating due to another company that has the name of our 49th state installing the wrong capacitor. I will never use anyone else again. Very reasonable prices and he stayed to make sure it didnt shut off. Thanks so much.

I thought there was an issue with my Nest thermostat because heating kept cutting off. Nest recommended this company to come diagnose the issue and even offered to pay for the diagnostic of the thermostat.

Phenomenal company! They came the next day after I called. Joe showed up and looked over my entire heating system and quickly found the issue was actually with the furnace. He ordered needed parts through warranty, returned two days later, and fixed all issues. Its hard to find reliable and knowledgeable HVAC techs. This company has earned my business from now on. I rarely write reviews, but this company is fantastic.

I called at 2pm, a service tech arrived by 4pm and my family was enjoying a warm home by 5pm. Brayden (spelling?) was friendly, efficient and did a great job! I would recommend this company and their employees to anyone.

Having a system break down during this time of year was very frustrating... however the quick response from your office & promptness of your technician Chris Hubbard who walked us thru the mechanical problem explaining all that needed to take place and the option we had; which was to replace the unit.

Employees who installed my heat pump were so polite and friendly. Even tolorated my protective dogs until the dogs got bore of them going in and out and just took a nap. Very reasonable on price... would recommend them.

Service Tech came out, was very friendly when trying to repair Fireplace. was not able to, needed to order parts, told me he would work on it and get back to me in a couple days. I have called 4 times now in last 6 weeks, and finally was given information on the parts. I understand it was hard to find, but zero communication, and zero return calls that were told to me would happen did not, i had to keep calling. dont know if i would give them another try or not.

I used this small business for my own small business, to replace the ancient water heater from my suite. They removed the 6 gallon tank and we put in a demand, under the sink, tankless water heater. They had their electrician hardwire it in and add a switch to turn it off and on, per commercial fire code. The water heater works great and is perfect for a space that only needs hot water for the bathroom sink. They were able to get it finished within the window of time I needed to have it completed, so I am very grateful. Thanks Picture Rocks Cooling Heating and Plumbing!

Abel did a thorough job inspecting the HVAC system and was helpful in explaining what he was doing each step of the way. He also went over the inspection and answered all questions I had about the unit. As a first time home buyer, I feel informed about my HVAC system and the future work that needs to get done.

They have always been prompt in responding to our AC needs/issues. My questions were answered, they were clear on what they were doing to fix my AC and those services were clearly listed on the invoice. I will never hesitate to call them again for future service needs.

Condenser fan quit running and I thought the motor went out. I called mid morning and Nick was out by early afternoon. It was the capacitor not the motor. He made sure our system was running fine before leaving. He was very courteous and didn't try to sell me more parts than I needed like other companies.

The General we hired to do a remodel hired little john heating and cooling and they came and hooked up a multi split unit with not correct wire gauge that may have caused a fire when the system got loaded down they ran wires on the outside of building they disconnected other breakers to make it work.they did an absolute horrendous job and wasn't going to correct it . And there's more . But Picture Rocks came out and re wired everything made the entire system safe and it looks like someone cared when they did the work . We will call them back for other jobs . I first called Picture Rocks to perform annual maintenance on my AC/ heating system. Abel took the time to explain that my system was outdated and had low freon with was expensive to replace. After getting 3 quotes on replacing the system, Picture Rocks won the bid with the highest SEER rated, cost effective solution. It also helped that they offered financing for up to 10 years.
When the team came to install the unit the following week, they showed up on time and got right to work. Because our old unit was not installed properly, it took some extra time, but it was installed and working perfectly by dinner time.
There were no hidden fees or bait and switch with the unit that we picked out. They did a great job from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Honest, reliable and wonderful company!!

I have been trying to set up an appointment with this company for several weeks now with no luck. This process has been a huge waste of time and will be looking for another company.

My Wife and I had to get a new air conditioning unit. Chris from Picture Rocks came out immediately and ran his tests and although we needed a complete replacement of our unit, it was actually a good experience. It was hot for a few days but, it could have been much worse had we not used Picture Rocks. They were extremely professional and on time. Chris and his crew walked us through what they were going to do, what it was we were really getting with the unit, and took the time to explain all the features. I saw them installing a complete AC unit across the street and I asked for their card. A week later I had to finish my contract with another Heating and Cooling company that quoted me over $600 for maintenance and part replacement. I was in the middle of selling my home. The guy said that the home inspector will not pass me if I didn't get these things replace and fixed. I called Picture Rocks Cooling & Heating to come down and check my AC unit. I told them that I haven't had it checked in a long time and I am willing to pay whatever it takes to get through inspection so I can sell my home. The Picture Rocks Cooling & Heating guy said, I didn't see anything wrong. You have been taking good care of your ac. That will be $88. The home inspection passed and I sold my home. I highly recommend these guys. It's been a long time since I have met an honest company under the Cooling & Heating business :)

These guys are the best! We've had them fix our AC when it went down and fix a plumbing clog. It's nice that they can cover both areas of cooling/heating AND plumbing! They have always been efficient and knowledgeable. A true pleasure to do business with.

Had a major problem with roots attacking my sewer lines. Picture Rocks Heating and Plumbing came out and fixed my problem pronto!! And at a great price!! Would highly recommend.

Picture Rocks Cooling & Heating inspected my heat pump in April 2013, 14, and 16 to ensure that it was ready to go for summer. I was very happy with the service and had a great experience. In April 2017 I had a coupon for another company and decided to use them for the inspection. The other company's technician assured me that everything looked good and the amount of refrigerant was just fine.

Well, during the June 2017 heat wave, I noticed a few things. The heat pump just wasn't cooling the house enough on Tues, Weds, and Thurs. Then on Friday morning, water began dripping from an upstairs air register, and the fan stopped blowing air through my house at 6pm that evening. I was so worried that it wouldn't be fixed until Monday at the earliest.

Ron answered my call at 6:15pm on Friday evening and assured me that he would be able to come by on Saturday. He showed up before noon, promptly diagnosed the issue (insufficient refrigerant, resulting in the evaporator coil freezing and poor airflow from the blower) and we had cold air blowing from the registers in about an hour. The price was extremely fair and reasonable.

After this recent experience, I am definitely a customer for life. Thank you Ron for giving me my weekend back!

Picture Rocks was a true hero when my parents AC unit went down unexpectedly. Their friendly staff provided a quick turn around time, superb customer service, and made recommendations for services to keep the system running. Our technician Austin, kept me advised through the whole process so I could make real time decisions, which resulted in a timely repair. He even changed their air filters! I would recommend Picture Rocks without reservation.

Best plumber in the Tucson area. Had a water regulator problem. Fearing that meant digging up my front yard and many many dollars, I had put the repair off for years. Finally, gave up and called Picture Rocks. Just wanted an estimate. Troy came out, gave me an cost and after I hugged him, he fixed my problem in less than an hour and for far, far less than I expected. Picture Rocks could have charged me anything since I needed the regulator, but, they didn't. I would recommend Picture Rocks for any of your plumbing needs. Expect the best because that is what you get from Picture Rocks.

Great! I swear my heater had it in for me. It worked every time the guys came out. When they left it refused to turn on or stay on. What the heck?! They came back a few times, at different times, to see if they could figure it out. Today is the day, my hearer now works. I'm happy with the service, patience and diligence that was provided. And they saved me money on the repairs that were needed. :-)

AC/heat unit installed 5 years ago and EVERY year had to have someone come fix something. Two third party companies came out and said the units 1, weren’t even installed correctly. 2, Aren’t matching units to work together correctly. And finally they were missing parts.

I will happily be contacting the bbb, HVACI as well as the Arizona attorney general.

We had some minor plumbing issues and we had no clue as to what was involved or how much it would cost. As you can imagine, we were super nervous when we called Picture Rocks based on others recommendations, wondering what it was going to cost us. We also wondered how fast they would be able to fit us in. Thankfully, they got us in the next day. Martin was pleasant and knowledgeable. he promptly took care of our issues, and the cost was very reasonable. We are extremely happy with them and will use again!

We woke up to the Air blowing in the house, was not cool air. We called the same day, first thing in the morning and they where at my house by 11:30 am. Turns out the motor was bad on my ac unit. Joe fixed it right away and our AC was back up within an hour. He also cleaned our coils and checked cooling fluid as a courtesy.
I thought changing an AC motor was going to be expensive, but it was reasonable price.

Our firm had a great experience with Picture Rocks Plumbing yesterday. We had a slow leak in really old plumbing under our kitchen sink, and Maira was able to schedule service to arrive in under 24 hours. We have been using this company for years. They absolutely know what they are doing. They are honest, trustworthy, show up on time, are willing to answer your questions and do not over charge. The owner and the folks that work for him truly do care about you the customer. They will put you first and will never over charge you. They stand by their work. If there are any problems they will work them out with you. You can't go wrong by hiring this company. I can't say enough good things about them.

We love these guys. We first used them to help with a new AC unit at my moms place. They were terrific and great price too...no monkey business! Then we had them start servicing our ancient AC and heat units here at our house...they have done several repairs and always reasonable and quick. We know we are limping along but will need 2 AC units soon and no doubt this will be our only go-to company. Their annual maintenance is worth it and reasonable too. Their men are always very polite and professional ..can’t say enough about them!

I contacted this company about an issue with my travel trailer air conditioner and explained my situation. They sent a service technician who freely admitted that he did not have the skills required to resolve the issue and still charged me 06 dollars for the service call..

We recently had to replace our heating and cooling system at our home and were told that if we paid the whole amount we would receive a 7% discount. When we made the decision to go forward with this replacement, it was not clearly stated that if you paid with a credit card you would not receive this discount and the person I spoke with said I only needed to pay half that day. If we had known that information we would have happily paid with a check for the whole amount. Upon speaking with the financial manager, we were not granted the 7%, but half that. We felt misinformed and were frustrated at having not received the full discount. 1 and a half months later the air conditioning was not working. Austin came out to assess the problem and realized that the installers had not connected the system components properly. He was fantastic, very professional and was able to fix the problem. He was sympathetic as we expressed our frustrations and disappointment with these series of unacceptable and avoidable events.

Great service very timely

Nice people and fast response, but I feel the charges for materials were ridiculous. They charged $75 for brazing supplies to seal a pinhole leak , I have a degree in welding technology and worked in the industry...I estimate the actual amount more like $7.50. They said it also takes into account the tools and they charge a flat rate for any welding. I don't think that is fair to the customer. I run a service business also, I wouldn't feel right about marking up that much. Good service, but I will look for someone else next time.
