Temperature Control, Inc. A/C & Heating - Tucson, AZ

We selected Temperature Control to replace our air conditioning system. The house has two systems (4 ton and 5 ton). I choose TC based on competitive bids from three companies. They did an awesome job of installation getting both systems installed in one day. After installation they sent a QA inspector who spent about two hours checking each system and the installation. They did a thorough duct cleaning and pressure/leak test of the system. I am very pleased with the service TC provided.

Philip was a great technician explaining the equipment options, costs and operation. Angel and Omar performed the installation and system test. They were professional, courteous and outstanding technicians! I cannot overstate how great this entire team was. The office team called to schedule the installation and followed up with emails. Efficient and professional! Thank you!

I needed some plumbing fixtures replaced and was referred to this firm by Angie's List. They were prompt, reasonable and their work was PERFERT!! Tim was my tech and he was great.

He was professional, efficient, and very concerned that I understood the process he was performing (reducing leaks from effective 47 inch square opening down to 3 1/2 inches). I had clogged bathroom drains and this company was very responsive. My technician, Matt was very friendly and explained the issues. He was very punctual and professional.

Temperature Control was recommended to me for some plumbing work. Manuel Valdez arrived at my house in the timeframe promised. He installed a new toilet and 2 faucets in my master bath. I found him to be very friendly, professional, and meticulous about his work. He kept the area tidy and cleaned up the work area when finished. I highly recommend him for plumbing issues.

I scheduled a maintenance appointment for later this month with Temperature Control, unfortunately my A/C unit decided it didn't want to wait. I called and explained my situation and was able to get an appointment for early the next day.Dean was my tech and a godsend. He's prompt, friendly, thorough, and honest. He was able to get my unit up and running, giving me ample options to meet my needs and budget. My unit needs to be replaced after 21 years of Tucson summers ( I knew it was coming) and Dean, without pressure, assisted in the start of that process as well.Great guy, great company. Both trustworthy.

I called on a Monday afternoon about 2pm for a repair on my ac, by 4pm tech Alex was fixing the ac and by 5pm he was done and I had cold air blowing, thanks to Alex and Temp Control on a 100 degree day call

My experience with Temperature Control was excellent. They identified the source of an odor problem coming from the vents when other contractors could not. I received sound advice on the condition of my unit. The technician could have easily tried to sell me a new unit based on age but instead explained clearly its current state and that a replacement was in the near future, but there likely was a season or two left in it. I look forward to using Temperature Control in the future

Jeremy came out for A/C issues. I advised him of the problems that I was having and right away he fixed the issue. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I definitely will be requesting him for my future service requests and anyone reading this review should request him as well.

We were without hot water for 5 days. The first company said they'd be out, then called and cancelled. Temperature Control came out the same day and took care of me and my family. That summer I was in serious trouble by AC broke and I have two twelve-year-old daughters in a five bedroom home no company would help me because of my finances temperature control came to my rescue set up a payment plan that fits my profile and I was very grateful this year today my heating went out my my air went out excuse me I called them they were here in a half an hour the man took care of it no charge may the Lord I serve bless this company me and my beloved family thank you temperature control you're the bomb

Called Temperature Inc for A/C service because my unit went out the night before. There was no overtime charge to come the same-day. They sent out a Technician named Danny that day who was very helpful, he walked​ me through the whole process and made sure our unit was in shape to last the entire summer, which is vital here in Tucson.

After my air conditioning unit was looked at by 2 or 3 other service technicians Daniel fixed it today in less than a half hour. He knew exactly what to do and it is wonderful to have a unit that works. Thank you very much.

Temperature control has done a great job meeting my expectations after replacing my entire unit a couple years ago. Since then, technicians like Shane Rodems have performed routine maintenance to ensure everything is running well. He addressed a concern of mine and it was a pleasure to speak with him. This has been a fantastic company to do business with.

Danny came out for maintenance for getting the system really for the summer everything checked out, but thankfully Danny suggested a respicare unit, to clean the air. It is amazing!! Both my husband and I routinely woke up sneezing, having to clear the throat, etc. BEFORE this amazing product, but we have definitely noticed that as long as the fan is on we wake up with NONE of those! I wake up with more energy, so I just wonder what breathing bad air does for a person. Thank you, again!!

Due to continuous leaks in the house water piping system, we had the house replumbed (repiped). The team that did the work was fast, professional, and skilled. Jeremy and an associate came out for a second opinion on repair work and estimate from another A/C company in town that I had called out to see why my A/C bill was do much higher that other M H in my park. He cecked both my heating and AC units and determined that the work that the other company had told me was not necessary but that my coils were dirty and my copastor was bad. Had I gone with the first company. I would have paid slot of money for something that was not even needed. The first company wanted to sell me a high priced new heating and cooling unit. I am a senior citizen on social security and don't have that kind of money especially to pay for something that would not have fixed the problem. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism of Jeremy and would highly recommend them if you have cooling and or heating problems.

Tony III came out to service our 2-year-old Bosch unit. He was extremely helpful and made sure we understood all the details. So appreciative of the good service from this locally-owned company.

They were very timely, good communication. However, the quote for what needed to be repaired didn't make much sense and the technician's choice of wording seemed really odd. Maybe he was 'dumbing it down for me' since I'm female, but I was surprised he used terms like 'your fan basically exploded'. So I sought a second opinion was in order as I wasn't at all impressed with his description for what was needed or why. I used Hamstra a few years ago for another rental and thought they were a bit high but was impressed with their work. However they beat Temperature Control's quote by over $600. (total was $1450 when Hamstra charged us only $800).

8 years ago, Temperature Control installed our new AC unit on our house and we were extremely happy with their service. Recently, they reached out to us and offered a complimentary service and Efrain came and checked out our system and did a fantastic job. We even signed up for a 1 year warranty because he did such a thorough job. Thank you Temperature Control and Efrain. We appreciate you helping us keep our house cool in the summer and warm in the winter!!!

We had a TERRIBLE experience with the owner's son. But, we just had a service by Johnathan, he was FANTASTIC. I'd say, that we will keep them, BUT, never trust Little Tony with any part of our home.Cody is amazing! Very respectful of our anxiety over the process. We had a very challenging scenario. He told us not to worry, he loves a challenge. And, he stuck it out all the way through a thunderstorm!From start to finish, the team kept us well informed at every step. Everything was as quoted. My house has 2 AC heating units. I replaced one with a Trane about 5 years ago using another company. The second was replaced by Temperature Control about 5 months ago. Both companies provided good service but TC went the extra mile AND was less expensive. All their employees are friendly, courteous and helpful in every way AND the new Lennox unit reduced my electric bill noticeably where the Trane did not. I am very pleased with Temperature Control.

My technician Joe helped me with an ongoing A/C issue that was not resolved with my previous HVAC company. The system is working great now!

Recently had a heat pump (electric heat and airconditioning) installed to replace our old system. After shopping around, got the best price and great financing thru Temp Control.After the salesman had been here and we ultimately signed a contract with them, Shaun came out to measure up everything. A few days later two gentleman plus a crane operator came out and installed the system within 1/2 a day!When we had a problem with the new thermostat, Shaun came back the same day and fixed everything for us. Yup, jus a few hours after we called them! And we are 2 hours outside Tucson!Next week their guy is coming out to vaccuum our older duct work...then we are done.The system works SO much better than the old system and is SO quiet!We are delighted to have gone with Temperature Control.

Annual maintenance: Tyler did a great job explaining the maintenance of unit, performed a good inspection of all capacitors fans, compressor, switches, and drainage. Cleaned coils outside with cleaning agent and water, recommended maintenance parts and future service options.

Danny has serviced and/or repaired the HVAC units in our personal home as well as our rental properties. He is always more than helpful and explains all options any time we need a repair. At our new house, when the AC broke down in the middle of summer, he took into account the fact that I was pregnant, and helped track down a portable AC to get through the 2 days between the initial breakdown and when the replacement parts came… Without that our weekend would have been beyond miserable! AMAZING! Recently moved in, thought I should get an AC Tune up. Daniel was my tech and boy was I lucky. I've never had a more knowledgeable and thorough tech! From the very first diagnostic appointment to find and fix a major water main leak at our residence, Eddie did an incredible job by providing us a solution that restored our water with minimal interruption. I had been having problems with my AC unit not cooling as well as outrageous electric bills. I had two service companies come out to check the problem and it continues to be an issue. Danny came out and was able to find out that my heat strips had been on, causing the lack of cooling and high utility usage. He was able to fix everything for me and now my unit is running as it should! I am so happy with the service provided to me and would highly recommend them for any future service.

Was told by a different company that my compressor on my ac unit died. Was looking at a $5000. repair. I wanted a second opinion so I called Temperature Control. Got a same day appointment. Tech Phillip came did a diagnostic and determined it was not the compressor but the compasitor. Less than $1000.00 to fix. I was cool in less than an hour. Would recommendabsolutely!!!!!!

Of course, needed a new AC using portables. Decided to get quotes. Received notification and pic of who was coming and when. Anthony came to our home. What an awesome man very skilled at understanding what we needed. He checked things out (we had one of the outlawed systems but was dead anyways)he eased our anxiety, quick to find common ground and it was so pleasurable to have someone that was truly interested and sensitive to our needs. No over selling explained everything top to bottom. Theresa (?) at the office, very personable called to go over scheduling, she like Anthony, was a 100%. Just great!! About an hour after Anthony left, I cancelled my other quotesCalled Theresa and got Anthony to come back and start paperwork. Anybody as kind and genuine as Anthony and Theresa must be happy with who they work for, that’s what clinched it. That was on a Friday our new AC was installed on the next Tuesday. Two EXTREMELY professional and respectful techs got it all done and cleaned old stuff removed in 6 hours was always sent a text with picture of who was coming over. The installation techs went over everything one more time. We needed a bit of a loan which they got us with 0% apr. there is not enough time or words to tell everyone just how great this company is. They are not one grain short of 100%.

This is the second time I use this company in the last few years for major work. They are absolutely outstanding! Their customer service and workmanship are second to none. Today I had Colton and Mike install a new water heater and I couldn't ask for a better crew and service. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Danny provided ac services at my home , he worked at a fast past, he was very well spoken and very informative in describing all of the issues my unit had and all that he had replaced for my unit to work efficiently , he double checked the air temperature and made sure it was good before leaving which I really appreciate! We contaced Temperature Control after experiencing some frustration with the company that installed all of the HVAC units in our community. We found Temperature Control, it was like the heavens parted. Everyone at this company is very professional. Their techs know what they are doing, and when you schedule service they arrive on time. The thing I really like is that they send you a text to let you know they are on time. The emergency service they offer is great, they really do get you in quickly. Recently Shane came out to the house to service the HVAC, he was on time and very professional, there was no added up sales thru scare tactics. I received a quote from a different company an outrageous quote and called in temperature control for a second opinion they came in at 10,000 less then the original quote I got. They are trustworthy and every technician that came to my office was polite and very friendly. Do yourself right and use temperature control their worth every penny. I had a horrible experience with Temperature Control. My AC stopped working on July 3rd 2023, I hired Temperature Control to diagnose the issue. I already suspected it was the blower fan motor, and Tony the Tech from Temperature Control confirmed my suspicion. However, he made it sound like a nightmare, claiming it was a rare legacy part that would be extremely difficult and expensive to obtain. He even went so far as to say he couldn't provide an accurate estimate.After disappearing into his truck, Tony returned with what he called 4 options for me, each with shockingly high prices ranging from $2,186.43 to a staggering $21,874. The fixed included a $701.55 charge to clean the blower wheel. As if that wasn't enough, he then tried to convince me to purchase a completely new AC system, persisting for about 30 minutes. Seeing through their tactics, I told them I needed time to think and sent them away.Refusing to be taken advantage of, I decided to call another company for a second opinion. They promptly examined my AC and fixed the issue for a mere $560, which included a simple cleaning of the blower wheel using a basic hose. I asked the other company if it was a hard blower motor to obtain and they stated that it was the most common motor.In my opinion, Temperature Control operates in bad faith, preying on people in vulnerable situations. Their attempt to exploit my urgent need for AC repair by proposing exorbitant prices and pushing unnecessary replacements is utterly despicable. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this company and seek more honest and reputable alternatives.

The tech only wanted over sale 1,000 of dollars of unneeded repairs. We called another company for a second quote and they fixed our problem for under $150.

I became a customer of Temperature control early this year, these guys are the real deal, very awesome customer service and great air conditioning service. There service tech Adam is not only my a.c. guy but has now became a good friend, I highly recommend temperature control for your a.c. and heater needs.

I asked them to look at my AC unit and provide an estimate for why it’s blowing warm. Before the tech even told me what was wrong, he showed me the payment options and said this is what it would cost. Sure enough, that was the option for $1800 (including 8 years of maintenance which I did not ask for). I told him I was very confused by the quote, he asked, “I thought you made the appointment because you wanted it fixed?” After voicing my complaint (I wasn’t shy about it), I declined. After he left, the tech called later to say he could do it for much cheaper. Talk about pressure to upsell!

On The first two days Dean and DonovanSpent a total of about 12 hours trying to repair our furnace. They were thorough, polite, explained what they were doing and why. At the end of day 2 they came in and explained why we needed to replace at least the furnace and recommended due to the age of the AC unit that we replace both. They gave written estimates, called the office to establish availability of needed units, and managed to get us scheduled for the very next day. We are very grateful since this is the coldest week of winter in Tucson in several years. So today Jeremy and Miguel came out and did the install of both units. They were professional, polite and got the jobs done. Before they left they gave us instruction in how to operate the new thermostat, included all the paperwork with written instructions, and left with the heat working. We recommend temperature control without reservation. They are a top-notch company with fair prices and expert service people.

Shawn showed up early and introduced himself and what he was going to do. He didn’t lolly gag around, but got straight to work. He serviced our Generac generator we purchased three years previously. He discovered water in the oil and a very dirty air filter and oil. He changed them both, and showed me the battery was going bad and positive battery cable was crushed. He didn’t replace either, knowing that I would take care of it and save me another $300+. Shawn did wonderful work and so thankful they come to Benson.

I have used TempCon for 2.5 years. They are reliable, arrive on time, friendly and do an excellent job. I have found the service providers, Efrain especially, helpful and knowledgeable. They replaced one of my furnaces 2 years ago and have continued to service my units since then. I have signed up for a 10 year service contract I like them so much.

We had Shane out to inspect the AC and Heating in preparation to sell our house. He was knowledgeable, answered our questions and addressed our concerns. We are happy with the inspection results.

My wife and I were camping for a few days, came home on Sunday, 104F outside, 94F inside the house. AC was running with hot air blowing. Oh no! Called four places, three of which could not come for days to check things out. Temperature Control said that a tech could be at our place between 5 and 7 that night so I set up the appointment. Received a phone call from Temperature Control offering a complimentary inspection. The service person Efrain was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had a lot of information about my unit. During the inspection we found that there were some minor issues that needed to be addressed. The cost associated with the repair seemed very reasonable. He also explained that they have a maintenance plan, which once again seemed fairly reasonable. Overall, a good experience.

We had a storm overturn our outside cooling unit in August. Our system was less than one year old purchased and installed by a different company. We called the original company to help us take care of our issue. Because we were dealing with our insurance company for a claim, the original company kept stringing us along and quoting prices at above the competition. I came home the other night after a long night at work to a 87 degree home. My AC was not working, so I called Temperature Control.They understood my situation and were able to send a technician to my house in the morning. The dispatcher went out of her way to make it happen.The technician was named Dan, and he was very professional and honest. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and showed me the issues with my AC. He replaced the parts that had gone bad, and also offered some recommendations to keep my AC unit running at it's best. Dan always explained what he was doing, and why he was doing it. Dan is by far the best AC technician that I have ever used here in Tucson. I did not have service through this company, but the driver of one of their vehicle was very unsafe. Not only was he exceding the speed limit in a residential neighborhood, he drove through a stop sign and on to a sidewalk to get around me. This is while i was backing out of my driveway. There are 6 children who live in the houses near this stop sign. Completely unsatisfactory.

This week Temperature Control installed a 5-ton rooftop gas pack at our house. The salesman, Danny, was also an experienced technician, and as he calls it no shiny shoes, but he has tools. He examined our non-working system on a Friday, and said he could at least do a simple fix which would give us AC for the weekend at no charge. It turned out his bid was better than the previous 4 bids, and we got a higher SEER system along with a free UV duct scrubber for free because of the higher SEER. The other companies did not even try to fix the equipment, nor were concerned about our not having AC for the weekend. Danny was great, but we worried about the installer tech. We need not have worried, because Angel who is highly experienced was just as good! That's not all.... a third person, Sean from Temperature Control, came to inspect the installation to ensure there were no issues, and he was careful as well. That they double-check their installations shows the integrity of Temperature Control. I hope they stay in business for a long time.

Shane was out to diagnose a problem with our iComfort thermostat. He was able to arrive early and begin figuring it out. He is contacting Lennox to get a replacement for the thermostat so we will be fully up and running. Excellent and friendly service, which we very much appreciate!

We have been in need of a new and more efficient HVAC system for some time now. Temperature Control has been our maintenance provider over the past few years. We have had excellent service from this company and decided to have them back out for a spring check up and evaluation.We received a courtesy call from the service tech, Donovan, letting us know he was on his way with an approximate arrival time. A good first impression...Donovan went through the diagnostics on the unit that has reached the end of its prime operational years as well as the second unit that isn't quite as old. He thoroughly explained his findings on both units in a clear and concise manner. His findings on the oldest unit were not presented in a doom & gloom manner nor were they stated as better replace the whole unit immediately and decide while I am here! He presented the options to extend the life of the unit to gain a few more years but also explained the cost savings from repeated repairs and costs in loss of efficiency as it related to our energy costs.We chose to consider replacement of the unit. Donovan was again thorough and professional in presenting three manufacturers and various models of HVAC units each offered. My wife and I felt this was done without any bias or favoritism toward a particular manufacturer or specific unit. We also didn't feel and pressure or urgency to decide on a product today. He encouraged us to take our time and to call when ready to move forward.Because we have a home warranty, Donovan suggested that the warranty provider may provide a buy-out of the old model. He offered to contact the home warranty company for us and did so! After an extended time of being on hold, getting disconnected and getting to the right person, he in fact did get a buy-out of a greater than expected amount. I cosider his efforts in making that contact as going above and beyond what was necessary in the area of customer service!As we move forward with this project, we feel confident that Temperature Control, Inc. was the right choice for our new HVAC purchase.

I was scheduled to have my air conditioner repaired today (which is NOT working) I received a call about the time I was expecting service that the technician so and so is sick. I couldn't be rescheduled until Monday. The person calling went so far as to share the technicians illness (not my business). I asked why somebody else couldn't be sent. Initially I was told that this particular technician is who is in charge of fixing my Unit. Quite frankly, it's well over 100 degrees and I don't care who they send out. When I asked for a call from a supervisor I was told, the supervisor would be asked to call me Monday as well. Absolutely irritated. I have 4 dogs, so getting a hotel for a couple of days just isn't an option.

They installed a new electrical outlet. Took 45 minutes. Cleaned up and looks great. Super happy with it! Coffee bar now complete!

I could only check one box above about what I liked about this company , but all of them apply. When I called to schedule, staff pleasant, competent. I was able to get an appointment the same day and was given a 2-hr window. Technician/company contacted me a few times to let me know when tech would arrive. Received a text with tech's pic and email when tech was on the way and he also called personally, Tech, Danny, was very thorough and explained situation with possible options for repair/replacement. Price for visit was reasonable--$79--and that fee will be applied to the cost of any repairs later on. Very happy with the whole process. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of A/C repair.

When I called to schedule my pre summer service the office staff member that took the call was very polite and she worked to provide service quickly while accommodating my schedule. The tech that came out was very thorough, answering my questions and even pointed out that my air scrubber bulb was out but under warranty still. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and offered some possible recommendations to consider in the future given the details on the inspection. A week or so later the same tech came back, replaced the bulb and was on his way. Fantastic service and professionalism all around. Thank you!

Very nice & Professional technician showed up to inspect my AC. Due to my being a new owner of the condominium I did not know where the condensation line was but I suspected it might be the reason there was a water leak above the tub. The took a look & cleaned it out for today but let me know it will be a problem again down the line. I will probably talk to Temperature Control INC. again about options for replacing the original condensation coil from this 80s.

I'll keep this brief, but be wary of this company. The technician that came out, Jeremy Oliver, was extremely unprofessional. He started out by smoking a cigarette with the AC panel open, and the blower going. The entire house smelled like smoke the rest of the day. He left his cigarette butts on the roof. He didn't check any gauges, he just told me that I will have to clean the coil, otherwise it will continue to ice over. He insisted he did a $479 dollar cleaning job for free. His cleaning entailed 5 minutes of spraying on some coil cleaner and washing it off with my hose. I spent the next hour cleaning my coil with a fine brush (SEE PHOTO - Half of what I pulled out of the coil). The A/C iced over the next morning. I had another company come out and they found the A/C unit was 2 lbs of refrigerant low. He showed me the gauges. After adding 2 lbs, the A/C unit is working perfectly and has been.I called and asked the front desk if the tech had checked the refrigerant levels. She said the manager would get back to me. I get a call, from the technician Jeremy, asking me why I called the company and told them he didn't check the coolant levels. I asked him if he had checked the coolant levels because it was 2 lbs low. He responded by telling me he defrosted and cleaned my entire A/C unit. He then ended the conversation by threatening me with a $479 invoice. I spoke with the manager, who assured me this is not how they do business. He told me that the technician claims he checked the coolant levels; however, there are no notes about it the levels from his visit - so there is no way to prove he did not. I have the entire recording and sent it over with the picture to Jason, who told me this would be a training experience. I have not heard anything back from the manager or owner. Not once did I mention the $79, and not once, did they did offer to refund me the $79 after I had to pay an actual professional $250 for the coolant. This is not a way to do business.

I am happy with this service. Dean was very informative and explained to me in detail the things I needed to know. Sometimes more than once if I didn't understand. After a very hot day it was nice to have my air working again.

They were able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours of the initial call. Incredible customer service - text messages and personal calls as appointment reminders and ETA of the technician. Really outstanding.

We came home from a camping trip up north and our a.c wasn't working. The house was 90 degree. We called and they told us a tech would be our between 7 pm and 9 pm . our tech showed up early and solved the problem. It was actually pretty simple. He charge us only for a service call. Didn't try and tell us we needed parts or any further work done. He did say our unit is getting older (14 years) and we may want to think about replacing it. But did not pressure us at all. If and when we do put in a new unit we will definitely go with this company.

I rarely write reviews and I was waiting until the job was finished and the QC has been taken care and also ducts cleaned, but I guess I will update when that is complete. It all started with Danny who was SUPER professional, he took a look at my system, including the vents an furnace and coils in attic. He then gave me a very fair bid. He cared and was concerned about getting the unit for the upstairs working until they put the new units in place. He came across very scencere and followed through with everything he said he would do. Karina in the scheduling and financing was also super professional and always pleasant and very helpful. My 15 year old tankless water heater gave up the ghost without warning;.This was on a Wednesday morning. Called Temperature Control and they had a person at my house that afternoon. John went over all my options and what they would cost. We decided to proce4ed with a new installation of a new unit. He was able to schedule a technician for the next day. Chris showed up ready to get to work. He was courteous,respectful,professional and a pleasant guy to be around. In three hours he had the new unit installed and operating. I am late in sharing this. We had our plastic faucet shutoff valves replaced by Tim and Justin from Temperature Control. I cleaned out under the cabinets and by the toilets so the guys had room to work. They were surprised and grateful because they said some people believe that they should just do the whole extra job. [Soapbox here. I feel it's my job to clear the work area to make the worker's job easier.] Anyway they battled their way through 16 or 17 replacements of plastic shutoff valves to 1/4 turn metal valves. They were all original and 21 years old but these guys only had to cut one off. It just refused to let go of that last tiny bit. Tim and Justin worked well together and it was a pleasure to have them take care of the installation of the new valves.

We had to move a pipe within our wall and it was tricky because all the studs around our window. Manuel did a great job of figuring out a great work around. Work was professional and even where the sheet rock was breached they were very careful not to break the pieces. Will call them again whenever I need work done.

Technician was good but bill was 420.00 for a 10 min fix....WTH???? Will never use Angie's list or this company again....

Jeff and Juan came out today to clean and test my HVAC system. They did a great job cleaning out the interior coil, exterior unit and blower motor. TC will be out again next week to replace some of my rusty old duct work. No more swamp cooler but still traces of the mess it left behind. I recommend this company!

Our AC wasn't holding temp in this summer heat so we decided to call Temp Control. Danny Van Eckhoutte was our tech and he was great! He very thorough and willing to go above and beyond to make sure our AC holds temp through the summer. He wasn't one of those techs that was quick to tell us to buy a brand new unit thank goodness. He spent a lot of time making sure everything was cleaned out and working properly before he left. Here we are a week later and our unit is working better than it has in the last couple years. We decided to sign up for a 3 year maintenance package, which was a very easy decision by the way, with Temp Control because they did such a great job taking care of us. I would definitely recommend them for any AC/HEATING services.

They talk a nice game, make promises, and truth be told. I'm not sure if they know what is up still waiting on a call back from Jeremy as my son's air conditioning still not working right every time it is something else and more money go with independent people at least you won't be stuck with a $20,000 bill and a big disappointment . It was a great experience, he ran tests on my a/c unit, he explained what he was doing and made me feel very comfortable. MY AC stopped working middle of summer. A very kind gentleman came out and was very professional. He told me the evap coil needed to cleaned. He quoted me $1200 to clean it and recommended I get an entire new AC unit and quoted around $12,000. I paid $99 for them to tell me that.The next day I called a different company, they came out and cleaned my evap coil without taking it all apart. I have working AC now and I paid less than $99 to get it fixed. It's an old system that may not last many more years, but I have working AC in my house again. It would have been really nice if the first company did the same.Decent customer service, the gentleman was friendly and professional. But I felt they were trying to simply up sell me.

I needed an emergency plumbing service to replace a broken main water valve in my condominium. I saw online that Temperature Control provides emergency service, so I called them. The receptionist said she could send one of their plumbers out the very next day and quoted me a price. The plumber Joseph was on time and replaced my water valve so that once again I have water. He was friendly, professional, and knew his business. He charged me the quoted price and I'm very happy with the result. I plan to use Temperature Control for all my plumbing needs in the future. Tim did a great job replacing the wax ring on two leaky toilets and replacing one shutoff valve. I particularly appreciated that he cleaned up after himself, taking the trash with him. Excellent work, and it only took about an hour.

I had a late night plumbing catastrophe and the technician came right out. I am so grateful for the prompt response and communication before, during and after the job.

We called their office to ask about having an existing gas line checked since we are switching to a gas stove. The person we spoke to and made the appointment with said there’d be no charge for the evaluation and they’d leave an estimate for the installation. The worker was here barely 5 minutes, said the line was fine, and then presented a bill for $86! We explained to him that we’d been told this evaluation was free and he said that wasn’t accurate. Zero chance we’ll have this rip-off company do any work for us.

I was woken up at 3:30am to my boyfriend telling me the water heater was spraying water all over the storage room. I called in a panic and they sent out their tech Damien right away. The crew worked their buns off of the hottest day of the year to get our system installed. They had a master craftsman on crew who spent extra time in our sweltering attic to make sure that the until was correctly installed and properly draining. We had our AC go out on us just as summer had started. The experience was miserable. Temperature Control provided the most competitive pricing for the condenser, coils, and furnace and even dropped off some portable AC units to hold us over for the weekend. They were decisive in their pricing and honored their word over the phone. Sean was a godsend with those portable units. Temperature Control was very thorough and even brought out a crane to install the condenser in the backyard.They brought out the crane so they wouldn't have to dismantle an archway that we had a lot of invested sentimental value, it was a very thoughtful gesture. Some molding was damaged when installing in our attic space and they sent out their specialist to repair it a couple days later. Temperature Control provided the most AMAZING and professional service. I recommend them to all my friends and coworkers.

Not the same company it used to be. Now they are more concerned about selling services. They installed my a/c unit 3 years ago... The unit still under warranty pressures are not correct they won't help. Emailed them several times . No response. Had the unit recently tuned and it was missing freon. Took pictures and email it to temp control no response

Shane Rodems - Service Tech was out today to conduct our seasonal service for our heating unit. Shane was on time, very professional and was able to demonstrate what he was servicing. Also gave me a tip about keeping the AC function in the Run position during the summer to minimize hot spots in the home. He did a good job.

Their customer service is outstanding, and I have already and will continue to recommend them to anyone who even mentions the words heating and air-conditioning. From my first phone call requesting someone to check out my A/C, every contact I had was pleasant. Phone calls are answered quickly, appointments are on time, all my questions were answered, and even though I knew nothing about SEERs and tonnage, I learned, because everyone was patient and actually wanted me to understand my options. HOW REFRESHING! They did a very thorough evaluation of what I needed and gave me several options. This was a big expense, and because I felt educated, I felt empowered and comfortable with the choice I made. I did a lot of research, talked to many friends and neighbors, and, actually called LENNOX customer service to ask questions, and the answers were exactly what Temp Control told me. I researched many different A/C brands and companies. With Temp Control there was no pressure, just honest feedback. When the new unit was installed, the men were on time, covered everything in the pathway with tarps so NOTHING got dirty or dusty, and when they left, my house was as clean as when they arrived. The follow-up visits to check the unit for any leaks was very extensive (which I was surprised) and they even helped me program the new thermostat to sinc with my cell phone for remote access. My new unit is very quiet and runs beautifully. I could go on and on, but I will finish by saying that my next door neighbor was so impressed with Temp Control service and price that she had a new unit installed a few weeks ago. I am looking forward to contacting them for routine service calls in the future. Excellent company and everything you read about them in brochures, ads and BBB is credible!!

Temperature Control has provided excellent service. We're on a service plan and get reminders when service is due. When part replacement has been necessary, we see the replaced parts and photos if there are physical indications showing why the part needed to be replaced. All service personnel have been very good at communication and at suggesting things that we can do to extend the life of our unit..

My AC failed in 113 degree weather on a Sunday. Jeremy and Justin came out earlier than expected. I had called about a dozen companies and was fully expecting to be price gouged. I was prepared to hear something like it's your redavinator and cataphortus and will cost you $800.00 to fix. None of that happened. They showed me a picture of a wire that had shorted, repaired it and had the unit working in less than an hour. They were courteous, honest, efficient and professional. Apparently I have a clog from tree roots deep in my drain pipe somewhere outside my home. Damien from Temp Con came in and waged all out war on those roots but ultimately wasn't able to clear the clog because it was so bad. He was, however, terrific at explaining the whole procedure and took the time to give me an estimate as to how far out the clog was so that I could contact my homeowner's assoc/prop mgmt co. and get the issue resolved through them. He also cleaned up the wet floor and made sure everything was left better than he found it in my bathroom. And then Damien told me there was *(((NO CHARGE)))* since he wasn't able to clear the clog. WAIT....WHAT?!? I definitely wasn't expecting that awesome surprise! The original estimate was reasonable to begin with and I figured I'd owe something for the service call regardless of whether the clog was cleared or not.I chose Temp Con because of their great Google reviews and now I get to add one more. I feel that Temp Con is a company of honest people who work hard and charge reasonable rates. We had them install a new HVAC system. They came out quickly and offered a jam packed product offering with it (duct cleaning, surge protector, CO2 detector, thermostat, air scrubber, and a water heater). They were the higher priced estimate but when we factored in the extras it was competitive, plus they installed next day and had our preferred brand in stock.We got a full walk thru when the installers were done and answered all our questions before leaving.

I have only good things to say about this company. Love my new AC and new water heater. What a difference!! I also had a problem with my electric panel outside…. And I called them to help me out. They took care of everything. All the permits and whatever needed to be done. Thorough professional installation of a new waterline from the meter to the house; included several hose bibs for outside watering. The installation was complicated by the previously ill installed water line. Rather pricey but it was completed in 4 days.

All I had was a loose kitchen sink faucet. Joseph came to give a quote but ended up fixing the problem within 3 minutes. He was professional, efficient and a genuine nice guy. I would recommend him highly.

Same day service call for AC issue. Danny V was knowledgable, organized and meticulous in his work. Coil replacement 2 days later (needed part) went well. The system was sealed up completely (I've never seen such a good job in past repairs elsewhere). He explained exactly what needed to be done, and explained as he went along, and summarized when done. Had the aging ac unit on my home go out at noon with the outside temps well over 100 degrees. Called these guys and was on thw schedule for later that day. Called back in 20 minutes and said they'd be there in 30 minutes. Tech was on time and ready to work. Diagnosed the problem quickly and made repairs same day. We will likely need a new unit very soon and Temperature Control will be our first call when we are ready, or not ready(stupid machine) lol.

Residential Hot water heaters last a long time, so it shouldn't be a traumatic experience for one to go out. Unfortunately, ours went out while we had house guests, really not good timing. Fortunately, Temperature-Control here in Tucson, AZ dispatched Manuel Valdez and Justin Smith to diagnose and as it turned out replace our hot water heater. We opted for the newer technology of a tankless water heater. Everything needed was in stock in spite of all the supply chain issues in the world. Then Manny and Justin made quick work of a clean and professional installation. An unexpected benefit was a recirculation mode that means next winter if won't take 5 minutes or waste gallons of water to get hot water in the kitchen. Great job and much appreciated. I highly recommend Temperature-Control, I've been using them for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues since they gave me a very valuable second option on an A/C problem.

Emergency situation: I requested a call through Angie's List and almost immediately received a call. That was the start of an excellent series of service calls to unblock drain pipes, hydroclean the pipes, install a new back flow valve and, finally, install two new toilets. Excellent work, professional and good communication throughout.

Lemme tell ya: 2.5 years after buying a house that was gut-rehabbed in 2018, we did NOT plan on replacing one of our A/C units. Our thought? Maybe the company who fixed it for us the 2 previous years just didn't do it right (pro tip: they did not). The bottom line? So today, we have a brand new dual head mini split system that's brought a level of cool to our home we haven't felt ONCE since the day we bought it.And they did the entire job for less than every big name you hear on the radio. Not by selling us a cheaper system, mind you. We got the SAME system everyone else quoted us AND a two-year service agreement. For less.We'd recommend TempCon to anyone without hesitation. Hired Temperature Control to replace my home's entire plumbing after a pipe burst (home had original polybutylene plumbing). They were prompt to respond for a bid and were competitive vs others. They did a professional/clean looking job installing my new pipes throughout and also humor me in installing an insulated sleeve over the piping running through the attic (because my cold water line runs quite HOT in the summer time). Additionally, I hired them to re-drywall and texturize my home. They did a great job with that too. I highly recommend Temperature Control.

Anytime someone comes into your home it can be a bit akward but our A/C tech Dean Pyle was extremely friendly right from the get go. Very informative and explained every step he was taking to my elderly mother. He ran all necessary tests on our air conditioner/heater & replaced a failing part that was contributing to our complaint. Overall very satisfied with our experience using Temperature Control for the very first time.

I received an unsolicited free AC inspection from HVAC contractor Temperature Control. I was suspicious, so I checked and they have a high BBB rating. I like free, so I consented to the inspection. The tech had all kinds of high tech equipment that showed Freon levels on his smart phone and an electronic sniffer to detect Freon leaks.He convinced me that I had a Freon leak in my coils and I had 3 choices:1. Put in some leak sealant and new Freon. This would cost me about $1,365 and probably wouldn't work.2. Put in new coils, if he could even find the coils for my old (26 years) unit at an estimated cost of $2,900 to $3,900.3. Buy a new unit for about $10,000.I concluded that I was going to have to buy a new unit because who would want to invest $2,900 to $3,900 into a unit that was far past its expected lifetime (18 years).The good news is that we have an excellent home warranty provider 2-10 that covers up to $2,000 toward the new unit. They sent out a tech ($85) to check out the unit. The tech did a thorough analysis and said that there was no Freon leak and that the air conditioner was working perfectly!!I filed a complaint with BBB to tell them to reconsider their high rating of these con artists!!

So, I bought my home two months ago. On 05/24/23, I heard water running with no reason for it to be running. Everything was off. I gave a call to the home warranty people and they sent out a plumber. The plumber assessed the situation and, after digging, confirmed that the leak was coming from under the slab of my garage - from water meter. My main water line had a leak. His company did not service that kind of work so they referred me to Temperature Control, Inc. I called, spoke with Tanya, and she scheduled someone to be out on 05/25/23. John Mancini showed up on time, observed the situation, gave me feedback and, after me acknowledging/accepting the solution, sent in a call to start the work the next day (Friday 5/26/23). That's when John and their techinician, Reggie Crippin, arrived on time at 0830. They walked me through what they were going to do (this was a reiteration, as John had explained the process the day before).I have NEVER seen such dedication to workmanship/craftsmanship as I have in Reggie Crippin. He was an army of one who took pride in everything he did. He was knowledgeable, kind, respectful, courteous and ABSOLUTELY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING!!!!I will, from 5/26/23 forward, wholeheartedly recommend this company for ANY plumbing needs you may have.Seriously, I don't know how else to back these folks. They, all of them, from office to tech - are superb. I will recommend them again and again. You cannot go wrong hiring these folks.Shoot. In my haste, I forgot to mention Reggie replaced my main water line, showed me how to replace the filter on my tankless water heater AND fixed a toilet - he was done by 1530 on 5/26/23. My thermostat went out on a Saturday evening and I called Temp Control. They offered a reasonable weekend fee. Dean was my tech and arrived on time. He was very friendly and informative. He taught me a lot about my unit and was able to fix my unit in 10 minutes. Great service!

He finished in a reasonable amount of time and suggested what we might consider doing next in our ongoing care of our HAVC system. I hired Temperature Control after doing a little research online. I spoke with Tony initially about their lennox products. I had two brothers come out and install the system that I chose (i'm sorry I can't remember their names) and then Vandy and Sean checked the system a few days later. I heard a weird noise when the system turned on and Vandy came out and checked the system again - the same day I called!! and was great explaining the system to me as well as the filters needed. I wish to thank everyone for their great service and would definitely recommend this company!!!I should also say that Iliana was so patient and understanding whenever I called with questions or concerns and I wanted to include her in this review as well. My blower motor went out and was stuck with NO heat for 3 days and I have daughters who were freezing! I called Temperature control and they had someone come out ASAP. Not only did the Tech Austin fix my Issue he was also able to find out my warranty for me! I had my heat back on within 2 hours! We own an Insight Homes, Inc home that is less than four years old and our HVAC system, Goodman, which was installed by Chas Roberts, was failing. Insight Homes, Inc. wasnot willing to stand behind their work, and Chas Roberts merely band-aided any problems we had within the 2 year warranty so we called three different companies for bids and suggested solutions and settled on Temp-Con and could not be more pleased. They go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% happy before, during and after the job. We actually decided to completely remove both of our original failing hvac units (furnaces, compressors, coils, etc) and start fresh with full warranties rather than throw our good money at a bad Goodman product. From the owner, Tony Bohard, to installers Angel, Jayme, Dominic, Duct Blaster Master Julian, Duct cleaner Raymond, our first contact with them, Danny Van Eckoutte Tech extraordinaire, and finally Service Manager Shawn Davis who figuratively put out a huge fire, these guys earn your business. My husband and I strongly recommend this company for what is the most important and necessary system in ones home. Our original installation unbeknownst to us had 68% leakage for 3 1/2 years from one of our units installed by Chas Roberts, and now after Temperature Control correctly installed the new unit---12% leakage! Our leakage in the large unit decreased by 4 Percentage points to 9.35% after new install, yeah! After almost 4 years we finally know what Air Conditioning is, thank you Temp-Con!

They gave me the best estimate by far out of 3 estimates I got to replace my ac unit furnace combo. They were very professional when they were replacing my ac unit, if anything came up they ask my permission to do something like cut into a wall if they need to uninstall the furnace. everything was done in a day and you get a free duct cleaning after everything is installed along with a quality control person to come out to make sure everything is working. Im am over all happy with the experience and would recommend this company to anyone looking to get there ac replaced.

Donavan Graves was my service tech today. I wanted a second opinion on my AC’s overall condition following another company’s assessment and quote. He was courteous, very knowledgeable, and professional. He performed checks on my AC system’s compressor unit and checked the interior cooling coils for leaks, something the other company’s tech did not. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction, including technical ones. He explained what needed fixing and provided several options, charges, and associated warrantees. I was able to develop a reasonable sense of trust because of his honesty and candidness, something very important to me.

Expensive new A/C system purchased autumn of 2012. A/C not used until summer 2013. Yearly maintenance checks completed with most recent in January of 2016. April 2016 system not working.Temp Control charged $75 for a service call where they did nothing. Temp Control estimated repair and coolant over $1000. A second opinion from different A/C service with estimate at $250.00. Repair Temp Control stated was needed was unnecessary with an excessive cost for coolant. Temperature Control implies you need repairs that you don't. Their coolant cost is far and above what others charge. Will not use this company again.

It was a pleasant experience with both gentlemen; they were most informative since I am a widow with no one to seek information from. There is one problem, however. The nice man who came out and cleaned the duct work should not have cleaned it since I had all of the ducts sealed which I had mentioned before.. The metal brush knocked out some of the sealant. No one has come out to finish a detail that Shaun told me about.

Appt. was for HVAC and Master Cool maintenance.Technician (Jeremy Oliver) was professional, and did a great job of explaining deficiencies that were going on with my cooler and HVAC system, using pictures taken with his phone.He also discussed the options for solutions in clear, easy to understand language which I much appreciated.

Do NOT use this company! I purchased an AC/Roof Pack system almost 2 years ago, and with that purchase came a 10 year MFG Warranty and 2 years of bi-annual check-ups by this company. Each time the supposed tech came to my house it was merely a ploy to push me to buy something else, from water heaters to whole house surge protectors they pushed to sell me something. I did not want to sit through a very bad sales call each time these jerks came to my house for scheduled maintenance. (BTW the techs did a bad job too). Each time they came to my house I had to stand and listen to the shake-down. The last time they came to my house was the BIG SHAKE-DOWN. This is when they told me I HAD to pay for an 8 year contract to keep my warranty in place. What? The warranty is through the manufacturer and is 10 years on Functional Parts and 20 years on Heat Exchange so why would that be in jeopardy? What they actually were trying to sell me is a labor contract!!! but the guy said my warranty would be in jeopardy if I didn't buy this. In reality they wanted me to pay for an 8 year labor contract for over $2400.00 on a 2 year old Air Conditioner. Shake Down Shysters! My warranty has nothing to do with this company. I am so mad at myself for purchasing anything from this slime-ball awful company, let alone something expensive like an air conditioner. And just why would I want this company to be my service contractor? They have terrible techs that actually screwed things up, they never showed up on time, plus I would continue getting shake-downs. My old house lacked a sewer clean-out and so I needed to have one installed. I have a chronic root problem due to a mesquite tree with a bad attitude! So I checked on HomeAdvisor and requested quotes on the service. TempCon was willing to use my preferred method of communication and offered a reasonable price.Throughout my interaction with them, this company was professional, helpful, prompt and courteous. The workers who came did a great job and their communication with me was excellent.They directed me to financing that actually helped out a lot, and when I asked them to do another job they let me know the real situation and showed me all details I needed to know. VERY impressed.Their prices were fair and they didn't overcharge. I also really liked how they sent me a picture of the person who was going to be coming to my home. That gave me peace of mind and was a nice touch.

One of their technicians came over to my house convince me In buying an air scrubber which I did and I also bought a maintenance plan . The technician was great explain to me everything he installed it very quickly that's the reason I gave them a 3.5 in quality of work. My AC went down about three months later gave them a call some other technician came over and told me my AC unit was completely out. So being like anybody else if you need to pay thousands of dollars you would get a second quote or check up on the AC. Air maintenance which is the secondary company I called and told me it was something much smaller than having to replace my whole AC unit so I gave them the work and they only charge me around $300. So I called back to temperature control spoke with a whole bunch of people including the service manager and sales manager Marla. I explain to them why am I paying you guys for a service contract when you guys are trying to sell me things that I don't need. they finally agreed to return my money that I paid the other company but it took months for me to get anywhere . Management is horrible in staying in touch you have to keep on calling them.

We always use Temperature Control for our plumbing and heating needs. Tim and Reggie installed a new toilet and quarter turn fittings. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They both are great assets for the company.

Daniel came out to our home today to do the yearly maintenance on our A/C unit. I was blown away with his attention to detail and the information he shared about maintaining my AC. Today he taught me how to clean the coils on my AC and it is something I will do moving forward. In addition he also took the time to add insulation on the line for the AC which will help my system work better. I can add a couple more things he did but trying to keep this review simple. This company is great and Daniel is an awesome Technician. In my experience here in Tucson I never used the same company twice. I will continue working with Temperature Control in the future, very impressed. A+, 5 stars, perfect rating in my opinion. Kudos to ownership for having such good/knowledgeable staff.

This company is the best. I was referred by my Dad but they earned my business after meeting with their awesome team. Update - So they didn't fix the putty on wall when they came out back(just fixed myself). Turns out when they installed tankless water. They did not turn water softener back on after install.Okay service, not impressed so far. They only fill the holes they put in the wall, do not cover the actual repair of hole made. Be prepared to do work after install.

Service Technician Elieser Rosales performed the semi-annual seasonal check-up on our 3 HVAC systems yesterday. What an amazing technician! He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. In our estimation, on a scale of 1 to 10, he was clearly over a rating of 100!TCI has been our installer and service provider for our HVAC's and water heater for several years. We do have the 10-year service agreement with TCI so we see their technicians twice a year.All their technicians are very good but Elieser raises the bar! He was very professional, helpful, and extremely competent. In his examination, he did find a crack in the PVC drain piping in the attic and repaired it.His recommendations to install compressor saver start kits was very affordable and we appreciated his advising us of its benefits. We will certainly request Elieser every time we schedule our HVAC check-ups and we will be certain to tell our friends and neighbors how pleased we were with TCI and, especially, Elieser Rosales.Most sincerely, Bernard and Mary Strojny

There are many so-called '24/7' AC service businesses, but this place actually provided service after 6 pm. The technician showed up promptly and quickly solved the issue. My problem turned out to be very minor due to my own lack of knowledge, but they were nice enough not to even charge me to learn the lesson.

After my home warranty sent over Absolute Heating, Cooling, and Refrig. and they completely did not help, I was recommended to Temperature Control. Not only was my Temperature Control technician polite, he talked me through every step of the process. He explained all the different aspects of what he was checking and what ranges are normal or abnormal. He was able to fix my AC in a few hours that the other company had me waiting 9+ days for (at the hottest part of the year so far). I’m sold on Temperature Control and won’t let anyone else touch my HVAC ever again. Will recommend to EVERYONE.

We had a loud clunk when the air conditioner started up. Austin showed us the proper way to install our air filters. Simple fix but, that is what we were doing wrong! Thanks Austin!

On June 16, one of my AC units went out. The temperature outside was 113. To make matters worse, I had nine members of my family arriving the next day. I contacted a company to come out and look at the unit. The unit was over 17 years old. The tech did what he could to make the system operable. The next day, I contacted a friend and asked for Shawn Davis’s contact information. All I knew was my friend trusted Shawn. I had no idea what company he worked for. Shawn came to my residence, looked at the system and confirmed the obvious. He took the time to inspect the temporary fix and advised it should limp along. He also offered to come back , if the fix failed. He recognized I had guests in my home, to include my parents. My wife reached out to two AC companies for an estimate. After the initial estimate, and a brief education on Arizona and AC units, I selected Lennox units. I asked Shawn to come by and provide an estimate for the same units. Shawn said his company, Temperature Control planned ahead and possible had the units in stock. The next day, Shawn verified the units were available. He sat them aside for us. I was very comfortable with Shawn and Temperature Control. However, my wife wanted to do due diligence and check one more company. Shawn advised that with such a large purchase due diligence is important. We met with company rep. His first comment was the units we want may not be available. He made us aware of some things he deemed important. After meeting with this individual, I contacted Shawn and let him know we were going with him and Temperature Control. Shawn took time away from his family to help us process required paperwork.On June 28, Temperature Control personnel showed up to install two AC units. They were on time, explained what they were going to do, and how long it would take. During the install, an additional crew showed up and assisted with the install. Shawn stopped by to check the progress.On July 2, Ben came out and conducted a quality control inspection. He also was tasked with helping me set up my thermostats. He was very patient and professional.On July 13th, Julian came by and performed the duct work. He was very thorough and professional. He explained what he was doing, and provided a detailed explanation of the duct system and air flow.During a brief visit to the office to take care of business, I dealt with a member of the office staff, she was very helpful and immediately scheduled Quality Control and Duct Work. She let me know Temperature Control would take care of getting the units under warranty.From start to finish, Temperature Control and it’s personnel were very professional. At no time did I ever feel like my wife and I were just a number. Shawn and Temperature Control made us feel important. No high pressure sales or negative comments about competitors. This is the first time I have used this company I am extremely happy. In May it took three days to get an appointment which is unheard of. Not so good. Have been a long time and satisfied customer in the past - even recommended them several times, but seems things have changed. Latest technician gouged me on a simple repair, even charged me a service call on top of it after trying to blame us for the equipment failure. I tried to contact the owner, and he left a message one time saying 'it's the cost of doing business', never returned subsequent calls. Short term gain for them, long term loss (guess it's the cost of doing business?)

Just moved to town and homes heat wasn’t working during home inspection. Found them on home advisor and am very happy I did. Although the heat worked when I got here they still found 3 different faults with the previous install. One could have led to a flood, another could have killed my AC. They have always provided me with the knowledge of the product, and the assistance to maintain this HUGE $$ investment in peak operating condition.Today Julian the Duct System Expert came 2 my home as requested in a timely manner. He explained the Vent System Cleaning process. He further tested the quality of the air circulating in my home. Although he suggested my home could benefit from an air scrubber system, it just wasn't in my financial plan for capital expenditure at present time.He was professional, friendly and didn't make me feel bad about not purchasing the air scrubber. I totally get anxious with high pressure sale pitches.The folks at Temperature Control have never made me feel pressure to buy a service or product. I have recommended this company to friends needing HVAC services. In the future I will continue to do so without hesitation.I signed on for the extended biyearly service agreement. They did a great job coming out to look at my issue during the busy season the same day. Jeff was on time, and actually beat me home and had the unit fixed before I arrived. He was super knowledgeable, explained to me in layman’s terms what the issue was and what could cause that, and really helped me understand how to prevent it in the future and provided multiple different solutions I could choose from.

Took care of a minor problem. Batterieswere dead in thermostat. Talked me into a service plan but as soon as he left we decided we really couldn't do it right now because of major expenses with the house. Tried to cancell immediately but they already deposited my check. Trying to get a refund. We'll see how that goes. I think you legally have a period of time to cancell a contract. Hope this works out.

The technicians that came out were very respectful and did the job quickly to get the repair fixed. I have used Strongbuilt previously and I have never had a bad experience with them. I will continue to use them whenever I need a service that they provide and would recommend them to everyone I know.

AVOID!!!I purchased an Air Scrubber system and a service contract. Technician explained to me that the interest rate was 7.99% I asked if that was APR and he said, YES so I financed about $3000. I trusted this guy. First mistake. I didn't really pay attention to what I was paying, just signed up for autopay. That was my 2nd mistake. ALWAYS double check what the salesman says. Over the next two years they came out every six months and I didn't think there was a problem. Then I had a lot of time on my hands and decided to check up on my finances. It was then I discovered that I had been paying 7.99% MONTHLY for their bill. Over two years I had paid almost 95% interest on what I owed! Certainly NOT the 7.99% APR I was promised. I contacted the Temperature Control Office and told them I needed to get out of that arrangement and into something else. They balked. I then decided to threaten them with bad reviews. Then and only then were they willing to make a new arrangement with me. So why am I writing this bad review? Well this was 6 months ago, and I am a woman of my word. It's what happened AFTER this that I'm writing about. I decided that their service contract was not worth to me what I was paying. A 10 year contract is 20 service calls at $1500 is $75 per call. I know I could get a guy out for less. So I canceled the contract. They were unwilling to give me the entire amount even though I ended up paying over $400 interest, so I took what they offered me. Today I had another company come out. The technician told me that the Air Scrubber light was out. It's JUST been 2 years. The Temp Control tech told me it would last 2-4 years. I honestly didn't expect it to be 2. I called Temp Control and spoke with Kailee. I asked her if the light was still under warranty (it wasn't by 3 months) so I asked how I can get the light fixed. She told me that since Temp Control sent in my product registration that THEY would receive a letter from the manufacturer about the new light but since I was no longer a service customer that they probably wouldn't call me about it, and that I can call any company to get the work done. Seriously, that's what she said.I called back and spoke with Theresa (A very nice woman). I told her my story, and she begged me not to write a bad review. She would talk with Marla the office manager in the morning. I had dealt with Marla before and found her to be non-compassionate and often took her time in getting back with me. I promised Theresa I would put off the bad review until end of business the next day. If they want to make things right with me, they could fix the Air Scrubber light at the 20% discount I had as a service customer.Zach came over a week later, was very apologetic, told me that the other technician had been fired, and I wasn't the only one who he flirted with. He was all about the sale, and that's not the Temp Control way. He then gave me a price to replace the light. $418 that included a 20% discount. The company that discovered the burned out light quoted me $420 WITHOUT a 20% discount. When I brought that to Zach's attention, he gave the standard line of We can't control what other companies charge. The other company had also offered me a 20% discount. That comes to $336. They have a good reputation, and good reviews. They will also guarantee the light for the 2 years.To their credit Temp Control did help me change my financing from 7.99% to no interest for 25 months. However when I paid off the service contract, my monthly rate did NOT go down. I contacted the finance company and they said the monthly amount would not go down even though my balance had changed. They said Temp Control controlled that, when I asked Zach about that, he said the finance company controlled that. I'm not fighting this anymore. Life is too short

I just had Tim and Reggie at the house and they were OUTSTANDING, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I will not hesitate to refer Temperature Control to my friends and neighbors.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Temperature Control. Their prices were significantly lower than any others I had researched and was very impressed with their customer service. I will absolutely use them again and have recommended them to all my friends and family for service, maintenance, and even an installation of a whole new system. Their contracts are also extremely valuable and unmatchable by any other company.

I like your service and your service workers BUT today a part was missing and was not on the truck. He did a work -around but did not have the correct part. I suggested he drop it off another time and install it (5 minutes). He said he would have to charge another service call. I felt that having the correct part should be part of the $160 I paid. So he left the old part and my daughter will fix it but I was not very pleased.

Temperature Control has very professional and knowledgeable technicians of which one is Brian Johnson. He came to our townhouse on time, completed the job and made a couple of great suggestions to us on the running of our heat pump.

I used Temp-Con for replacement of my whole system. They were very professional and cleaned up the area to better than when they started. The follow up maintenance has been explained well and every service person has been friendly and helpful. I would recommend them if you need full system or just a repair.

Outstanding visit by the service technician. Very polite and explained things in a way that I could understand. Sadly, I need to spend a lot more money now but it is because of his diagnostics that will save me from having to replace the entire AC unit. The maintenance checkup probably saved me $10,000 in replacing the unit. I'm only going to spend ~$1,100 to replace a fan motor and a few other small things.That's a big difference! Living in Arizona, you need AC like you need water.5-Star, 10 out of 10, etc...

The tech, Phillip, performed a thorough inspection of the indoor and outdoor units, answered all my questions, and explained my non-emergent options for improvement. I have complete confidence in him and now my systems ability to optimally perform this summer. I highly recommend Temperature Control.

I use Temp Control for AC install & plumbing service. Although prices can be high, the quality of work and service is professional and reliable. Manuel V. replaced a leaking faucet outside. He is knowledgeable and provided insight to future plumbing upgrades and took the time to show me how to turn off the main water valve. Danny V. and other HVAC team members, services my HVAC system that was installed by Temp Control, and I have had zero problems with anything mechanical and the once a year air-duct cleaning was done well. The biyearly service for the HVAC system has provided peace of mind, especially in the Tucson summers.

My a/c went out during the week that every day broke an high heat record. Within 4 hours of my call an HVAC repair technician arrived at my house. Unfortunately, and I knew this to be the case, the compressor had gone out on my 24 year old a/c. We talked about the available options and determined a new variable speed Trane was the best option for our home. They are not available for Installation for three days but have provided us with a portable air conditioner in the interim. Professional and responsive. I highly recommend going with Temperature Control, Inc.

I reached out to TempCon early on a Monday morning. Literally within minutes they called me to schedule an appointment to diagnose the problems with my heat/AC unit. They had a tech come out a few hours later. He was presentable, professional and very knowledgeable. He did his best to help me understand what he was doing and why. He was able to show me what had happened with my unit and explained it in simple terms that I could understand with little background knowledge of these units. The pricing for repairs was very competitive and they offered financing. What really sealed the deal for me was the warranty and discount on other services such as maintenance and plumbing. They scheduled my appointment for repairs while the tech was still there. The appointment was not weeks out either, it was only two days out... Needless to say, I am very happy that I chose Temperature Control, Inc for my heat/AC needs. They have earned a forever customer in me!

This entire team does an excellent job from start to finish. My new AC unit is ice cold and significantly lowered my energy bill. The install was done quickly and several checks were done later to ensure efficiency. Julian V finished up and cleaned out the ductwork and did a fantastic job. The services and parts were expensive, but the equipment quality and level of service is worth the price.

Timely and professional, but very expensive. Installed 2 under sink water supply lines for $168! Took him about 20 minutes and $20 worth of supplies and materials. These guys are reliable but not cheap.

We have now utilized all temp con services. Customer service reps, Tanya, Maira and Laura are wonderful and friendly to work with, HVAC with Cody, plumbing with Saul and electrical with Shawn and Mike-was outstanding. These guys are skilled, knowledgeable and patiently answer all questions. We just moved to Arizona and we feel secure and happy knowing we have found this company.

Jeremy Oliver came and went through our 4 furnaces, inspected thoroughly, and walked me through the entire job and gave our equipment a clean bill of health. That latter part was greatly appreciated.

Danny was great in all ways and I think he tried hard to get to get rid of the whistling in my air conditioning. He cleaned two of them out but unfortunately they still whistle and it gets very annoying. Also, and this is my fault, I did not get a complete breakdown of what he did on my bill. I needed someone to repair my heater quickly and found Temperature Control Inc and spoke with Tony. His office called within minutes and Philip came within 2 hours. He was super to deal with, found my issue quickly, and was friendly and professional. I signed up for a three year service package.I do have one issue though. SWG company had been out that morning checking for a possible carbon monoxide leak, and there was some confusion as TCI thought SWG had referred me to them, which they did not. Temperature Control wanted me to pay the $75 referral fee they would then send to Southwest Gas in appreciation. That’s not how it works. Referrals are between companies, don’t force the customer to pay that. It’s not fair at all, especially on top of such a massive bill.Still, very happy with the service tech and feel that my heater/ac unit will be well looked after.

Great service! The technician Johnny was very responsive and answered all the questions I had. Very professional and quickly resolved the issue with my mini split unit.

*UPDATE* 1 year later we had our first service visit from Nate. He was an hour early, extremely friendly and helpful! He explained everything he did and things I can do to improve my unit's performance. VERY happy with his service!My husband and I just moved to Tucson last October and to put it mildly I am still trying to get used to the heat. My air conditioner completely went out last Saturday and Temperature Control was recommended to me so I called at about 5 pm. The tech Danny called me back and said he could be to my house a few hrs later but I asked him to come the next morning. Danny was there on time, and took me out to the unit with him and walked me through every test and explained the process thoroughly. He showed my why my AC went out and walked me through every option extensively. The entire process was overwhelming because I am a new home owner, wasn't expecting a large expense like this, and my husband is currently deployed. Danny was incredibly kind and understanding and went above and beyond to help me and put me at ease. He put a rush on everything and pushed the financing through so everything would get done as soon as possible. The installers were at my house the next day and even waited at my house for me to get off work to finish up. They were also extremely kind and explained everything to me, and their work was flawless. I am so glad I chose Temperature Control for this, I would never want to go with anyone else!

To say we were happy with Temperature-Control would be an understatement of the nth degree. We hire T-C to install a new, high-end Trane heat pump & air handler in our home. At every step they were professional & responsive. They showed up on time, sent pictures of all employees visiting our property, answered every question we asked and a few we hadn't thought of. The work was done on-time, everything was clean and neat and they checked in at many steps in the process to ensure we were happy and understood what was going on. So far we're 2-3 weeks in with the system and it's operating great. I would recommend this company quite enthusiastically to anyone looking for a new heating/cooling solution in their home.

Tim and his helper did a great job installing clean out and hydro jetting the pipes. They were respectful and kept the place clean while doing a dirty job. The problem did not arise until the end. I had spoke with mr Mancini about the job and he told me we could do it all on a 24 months no interest schedule. I told him yes that would work so I could afford the job. The day of the job he tells me that I should have set that up ahead of time. Hey I don’t work for your company and I don’t know how your payment plans work. It makes me wonder what they do when someone needs a new A/C unit. Oh you didn’t arrange financing after we told you we could take care of that. Sorry you need to put that on a card. I was lucky to have the credit available. If I had known ahead of time I wasn’t getting the financing I would have waited to do the job. Employees great Management sucks.

April - May 2023I had Cesar Moreno from plumbing come in April and replaced a toilet. Very well satisfied with the installation and Cesar was professional and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions.Then Paul Myers came on May 8th to do a spring check up on our AC system. I asked him about an electronic air filtration and we discussed options. He was also professional and knowledgeable. I have been very satisfied with all Temperature Control technicians that have done work in my home since I started with them in 2007.******************************************************************Adam is my mechanic. Company serviced my heat pump twice routine checks. Very proffesional. Great service, speaking from a retired service refrigeration engineer. 33 years experience. This is in addition to my first review. Originally Cody came out and found the repairs R**e W*y did a year ago was done the wrong way. He did a temp repair to keep system running and scheduled work to be finished. Dustin and Giovanni came out a week later and had to remove work done by previous company and install proper equipment. Great guys with great attitudes!

He was a great communicator, professional, highly experienced, knowledgeable, polite and took excellent consideration in explaining to me how everything works, what was wrong and why he thought so. Usually I’m nodding my head aimlessly when techs try to explain things, but Austin actually explained it so I could understand what was going on and what the plan was to address it. I truly appreciated this, thanks Austin.My interactions with the other staff were pleasant and efficient, as well, I believe I spoke with Tonya from the office. I called around 8am from a very chilly home, was given a 10am-5pm window, Austin arrived around 11:30am and was finished in an incredibly timely manner, leaving me with a nice warm home. I now can also look forward to an HVAC maintenance plan with Temperature Control. I would recommend them to anyone!

We are very pleased with our air conditioner and the service we have received from Temperature Control. Everything they have done has been exactly as promised. My technician Brian arrived promptly, then conducted a thorough and extensive diagnostic test on the air conditioning units. Which revealed the actual problem. This of course was not was recommended by my home service warranty company (AHS) Contractor had recommended to me at a much higher cost to repair. Brian is a pro, considerate and friendly. He restored our cooling in a few hours, versus weeks that I was quoted by the other company. I gladly purchased a 5 year, comprehensive service maintenance contract through Temperature Control. Well worth it.

I had a new system installed. I developed a leak in my roof after their install. After a month of phone calls and trying to get someone to respond to the problem, nothing. They don't call back as promised. They haven't made any attempt to correct their damage.
