I woke up to my AC not working properly. I called and was put on a standby appt for the day. Terry was the tech that came to help. He was prompt, thorough, kind, and very professional. He identified the issue and had the part in his truck. It was replaced, and the system was cooling all within a half hour of home being there.

Huge thanks to Jordan and Kyle for the fast response to my issue and fantastic, professional service. Following an after hours call last night to diagnose the problem they returned this morning with the necessary components to complete the work. Could not be more happy or appreciative to them, and the Intelligent Design company. Great service, great value, great customer care.

The service tech, James, was very professional and gave us an honest assessment of the next steps that had our needs in mind, not his. Treated me like a priority customer and went above and beyond in helping to coordinate an equally caring project manager, Taylor, to come out and give us a competitive package estimate for replacing our 15 year old AC that chose to run out on us in the middle of Tucson's hot summer months. Their attention to detail and personal care towards my family was a welcomed treat considering those are hard to come by with a lot of businesses these days.

They were very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. They explained what they found and told us the price of what the repairs would be.

Quick efficient service - second instance of using this company this year (2022) and can only recommend them for their speed and efficiency in coming to the rescue and fixing the issue.

Chris and Dillion came out and made a difficult situation easy and with kindness. After being ripped off from a private plumber I was devastated and they were honest and worded really hard to handle it for me. I am so grateful. I’ll never use any other company again!

Semi-annual checkup to ensure our unit continues to run smoothly. Technician found a minor issue and resolved it (no additional charges). They always provide great service.

Had plumbing done about a year or so ago had someone come out and do a routine check up. Zach law was very professional came in went straight to work. Did what he needed to do while being very respectful, honest and kind. Zach also showed me how to change the filter. I tend to mess things up, so I appreciate the instructions. I really enjoyed talking to him, I really liked the fact he thought I was in my 20s or late 20s, everyone loves to look young, knowing the fact that I’m almost 50. But seriously, Intelligent Design you guys are the lucky ones because you have workers like Zach. So if anyone read this ask for Zack’s law. A young man, who works hard and treat people with kind respect. Thanks again Zach law.

Fantastic turnaround with excellent technicians and management- thank you James, Kyle and Paul. James and Kyle came during our limited window and throughly investigated the issue, recreated the situation several times with different variables until found cause then asked Paul if able to get the equipment needed, which he approved and personally delivered so HVAC could be back up and running this evening! Worked for almost six hours to resolve the issue and had time to get to know my adorable but naughty doggie that wanted to follow Kyle every where he went. Great customer service and did all of this free of charge even though malfunction was due to an original part that had not been replaced to keep cost down, as it was initially functional. Long update but was so impressed and grateful!

Very very poor customer service follow up after purchasing a $20K HVAC system that malfunctioned within six months and had to be manually turned off at circuit braker box. Amanda assured me technician would present during lunch, tech came with incorrect equipment and left. I had to call again, another assurance from Amanda that tech would come this evening, this time no show. I would not recommend this company after so much difficulty, a very expensive brand new HVAC that does not even work! Filing complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Jared the tech was outstanding. He did this job for my 91-year old parents. On time, excellent work & completely communicative.

I called to have a leak in the waterline on the house side of my water meter fixed. Jacob was my plumber. He came out and dug up the line coming out of the meter. I could see where it was leaking - a drip-drip coming out of an old coupling repair on 3/4 PVC.

Jacob said it would be about $700 to repair the old PVC pipe, but that recommended repair would be to replace the PVC with a new PEX line from the meter to the house. He said that he would give me a quote for the replacement. I said that I was going to call my wife to discuss the options. While talking to my wife I decided that $700 was an exorbitantly high price for a simple in-line PVC repair and that I would just pay the service visit/diagnostic charge and do the repair myself.

I went back out to talk to Jacob and he gave me a quote of $2750 to run the PEX line to the house. I told him that I had decided to do the repair myself and so I would just pay the service/diagnostic fee. I paid that.

Jacob then mentioned that the water was still turned off (at the meter). I asked him to turn it back on. He said that he couldn't because it would spray all over the place. I said that I saw the leak and that it was a drip, not a spray. Jacob said that they already cut the line for the repair.

I got angry. Cutting the line before I agreed to a price for the repair, much less for the repair to be done at all put me in a bad place. This was either incompetence or, more like, an unethical attempt to force me to over pay for an easy repair.

Now I had to get the line fixed immediately or I would have no water in ny house. I told Jacob that $700 to fix the PVC leak was insane but that if he would do it for around half the price I would pay it. I also told him he better fix the situation he caused by cutting the line before we had an agreement for him to do the repair.

Jacob would not budge on the price. I told him that he better fix the situation that he caused by cutting my pipe without an agreement for the work to be done. I admit that I was loud and was swearing. I was incensed by both the shady practice of cutting the line to force the repair and by the insane price for what would take 15 minutes. I told Jacob it was a 15 minute job. He tried to tell me that just waiting for the cement to dry was an hour. That was patently false. PVC cement dries in seconds, not minutes, and certainly not in an hour.

I ended up doign fixing the leak myself. It took me about 30 minutes, including going to ACE to buy fittings and PVC cement.

I would never do business with this company again.

I only called them in the first place because I had previously used Woods Plumbing (which has evidentially merged with or been purchased by Intelligent Design. We had work done multiple times by Woods and they were AMAZING. Excellent service, Fair prices. I can't say enough good things about them. But Intellgent Design is horrible and unethical.

They were super thorough and went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean, fixed, and running smoothly. They were super respectful and communicated clearly everything that needed to be done and everything they did. Thank you, Jordan and Sam for excellent service today!

The men arrived right on time. They were very polite, and it was no problem having them around. They seemed to know exactly what to do to get our unit back to maximum efficiency, and so far it appears that they succeeded 100%..

Also, Jared was just so thorough and explained a new item that allows me to change the heat on the recirculating pump! Cannot thank this company enough for the knowledgeable and professional employees they hire!

I have used Intelligent Deisgn for 7 years and have annual service as well as I purchased new HVAC system from them a few years ago. Generally, technicians do a good job and are timely with communication. I like that they have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. However, the prices for repairs are extremely overpriced. I had an utility sink installed in the laundry room and they quoted several thousand dollars but I had another contractor do for less than half. They also gave a quote to replace shut off valves and water lines under bathroom sinks and price was $1000 for four sinks; another plumber did the work for 1/3 the price. Finally, I have a mini split in the bedroom and have had all the AC units with annual service but the first time the technician examined the inside mini split. Since the first time they examined it was very dirty and they gave a quote of $500 to clean the coils, blower wheel, etc. I thought that was extremely pricy and got other quotes - one for $300 and final one for $200. Wyatt's heating and cooling did a great job cleaning the mini split for a very reasonable and fair price. All I can say is get other bids!

We had a major blockage of our sewage system shortly after moving into this 30 year home…despite the plumbing having been given a “thumbs up” by another plumber during our home inspection. Gabe from Intelligent Design was there promptly, diagnosed the problem and fixed our sewage problem to our satisfaction. He and his team were thorough and courteous. We couldn’t be happier with their work!

Jordan is the tech who repaired my A/C unit. He texted and called to inform me of arrival time and was punctual. Jordan was OK with me observing and explained the problem ; he was thorough and very professional. I give Jordan and Intelligent Design s FIVE STAR REVIEW!!

Marty came out and installed the Enviro water purification system at my house and did an outstanding job! He even dug a hole to put the tanks in as well as put a nice box over it so that my Hoa would approve! within 72 hours I had clean water in every single room in the house! I am so excited to no longer have dangerous chemicals in my home. Now my family and I can take showers and drink water safely!

Had a great visit from IDesign today. Mark M. did a thorough inspection of both the inside and outside units. Keep up the good work!!
