When we need a plumber, it is usually an emergency.

Finding some urgent help can be extra challenging. My kitchen and laundry room were completely blocked after a mini flood caused by a major drain clog in the main pipe under the house. While I was able to deal with smaller issues in the past this one could not be solved easily by my usual tricks.

All that during the covid-19 lockdown with the whole family being stuck at home 24/7. And it had to happen on Saturday too (of course!). I called a few shops, but everyone was either closed for the weekend or booked for at least another week.

I was lucky to stumble upon Ridgid Plumbing on the internet and called Arash. He asked a few questions to do a quick assessment and promised to squeeze a visit between other jobs on the same day. He and his partner arrived a few hours later as planned, wearing gloves, masks, and shoe covers. After another quick check they shared the plan and an estimate. And within an hour we were back in business!

While they were working on it I got a few tips and tools from Arash on how to prevent this type of clogging in the future taking into the account my house specifics. Both guys were very courteous and knowledgeable. I would totally recommend them if you need some professional help with any plumbing issues.

Second time that I've used Craftsman now; another great experience.
Craftsman replaced my old water heater, as well as my truly ancient outdoor faucet that's leaked forever. On time, courteous, easy to communicate with. Completed on schedule & no mess left behind.
I'm preparing my home for sale & there's a whole bucket-list of things to fix, replace, etc. Some things have been real hair-pullers; so you learn to appreciate when stuff just gets done, correctly, the first time. Ah!

I contacted ProMax on a Sunday, via their web site, and explained that I had a broken water heater and was looking for a company that could replace it within a day or two. I was surprised to hear back within hours, and not simply from a scripted ‘customer service agent’ that was telling me someone would be in touch soon! This was a real person that actually performs the real work, asking for photos of the space and the water and electrical connections and asking about parking!! After some back and forth with those details I was provided an estimate and once I’d agreed to that I was put on the schedule for the following day. Two young gentlemen arrived on time and got right to work, dealing with the complexities and showing professionalism and friendliness and respect for the property. They worked efficiently and cleaned up well. One item that could be improved is their ability take payment - I needed my check book, which is unusual - but they explained that they had just adopted a new payment system and were working on electronic payment capability. I would definitely call them again.

I called Prima to install some new water lines and a hose bib because they were close to my home. They were super friendly and had a quote and timing to me in one day. They also came out within a few days and not only did a great job, but were very pleasant to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

October 2020: We asked for a quote for a replacement & installation for our heater. They were great! Immediate response and a quote furnished over the phone immediately. The cost breakdown was confirmed over the phone and the pricing was excellent. An appointment was made with Jack to come, view the project and provide/confirm the pricing for the project. Unfortunately here is where the big problem arised. The price provided by Jack was 2x the quoted sum. When we asked Jack why? His comment was the women at the office do not know anything. This is unfortunate, I called the office immediately, asked why the difference, and shared the comments. Conclusion? We did not hire them for the project.

They told us they will replace a part in our water heater, instead they replaced the whole unit with one in their own inventory charging us for double the price for the same unit in the market. They took our original unit with themselves and after we asked them to return it the day after, they said they have tossed it out! We emailed them and asked questions about the unit replacement without our consent, and they called my husband and threatened him of consequences! So in short, we got a fast service, but we paid double price, we lost our own unit (which only needed a part to come back to life), and we were threatened the same day for asking questions about their decision.

These guys aren't interested in doing an easy service call in downtown Seattle where parking is no issue & the task of installing a gate valve on an exposed copper water line is too much for them undertake. At least they didn't mince words!

Wow, Terrible Customer Service, Terrible Work.

Started the $20,000 project of connecting us to City after our Septic tank went.

Day 2, Broke our water line (after spending a whole day marking where it was) - 3 days without water. -- don't they do this everyday?

Told us there would repave the concrete they tore up -- Concrete driveway is left a disaster.
Told us they would lay dirt and grass seed -- All rocks : This will be fun to mow grass growing in rocks.

Changed agreement about the last part of the job that we paid for separately and refuses to refund $5,000. Now 3 months of fighting with them it is obvious the workers are lying about the work that was done. We cancelled 3 times, by phone and email. They didn't show for the scheduled appt. so we figured it was clear. Then 3 weeks later show up randomly saying they want to complete job. Talked to 3 different managers now and they keep giving the same run around

SHOTTY WORK -- SHADY WORKERS -- DO NOT CALL BEACON !!

We were planning to install a new A/C system for our single family house. We had two similar bids but decided to use Seatown. After 3 months of waiting Seatown sent a crew to our house with a big truck. Exciting! We talked with them and they seemed to start working. After about an hour we went out to check if everything was alright, but to our surprise, the whole crew was gone, with the truck! We called Seatown and were told that they made a mistake on the bid so decided to cancel the project.Months of waiting, canceled project at the last moment, no communication. Good job seatown.Edit: Seatown came and right the wrong. The A/C unit works fine for now.

Shane came out within two hours of us reaching out to jet out our clogged line that had backed up into our laundry room. He was respectful and courteous, walking us through step by step what he was doing and keeping the area around the interior clean-out. Unfortunately, this job isn't done yet as it looks like part of our pipe is collapsed and needs further repair - the joys of homeownership. We will happily have Shane out to finish the job.

After 2 plumbers didn't call me back, and a third failed to show Fox responded right away. They were helpful, efficient and organized. I would definitely call them again.
