The responsiveness of this company is fantastic. Our water heater stopped working 2x in the past year- nothing to do with the water heater itself but rather our toddler turning it off and someone knocking into the gas and turning it off- and both times I called after hours in the evening and they answered my call and helped me figure out the problem each time. Highly recommend!

Evan was very knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job! He's done a couple jobs for us already including installing a new water heater. We'll definitely have him come back out to do any future work!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Evan at ProMax Water Heaters & Plumbing for responding to my emergency phone call the morning after Thanksgiving to report a busted pipe under my kitchen sink. Evan came out as soon as he could and replaced our cheap plastic pipe with higher quality material. I appreciate Evan's promptness and quality service, along with his willingness to answer unrelated plumbing questions including what to do next step with my aging water heater. He did a great job and kept my kitchen clean in the process. I will call on him should any other plumbing needs arise and highly recommend!

The conclusions of this review are simply that you want to work with Evan at Promaxx and that your water heater repair needs will be solved if you do. Working with Evan was one of the best home service experiences I’ve ever had.

My water heater started leaking so I called a leading Seattle vendor and sent a picture of my install. Since I had a particular style of power venting, he refused service but recommended two companies that did the replacement I needed. I called Promaxx first, left a message, and Evan called back in less than 10 minutes.

From there we worked together exchanging photos and texts to insure Evan understood the repair. Egress of the old and new tank was really tight so we Facetimed and measured the space together so Evan could make informed decisions about the dimensions of the replacement tank. While my tank ended up to be smaller, functionality of hot water delivery was not compromised.

Don’t think too hard about vendor choices here. If you get through to Evan, work with hm and he will get your job done.

Evan was very helpful setting up the appointment via email, and on the day of the hot water tank replacement. Very communicative, and answered all of my questions both before and after the job. He did great work, and even cleaned up the previous sloppy installation while he was at it. Top notch job, and a pleasure to work with.

I contacted ProMax on a Sunday, via their web site, and explained that I had a broken water heater and was looking for a company that could replace it within a day or two. I was surprised to hear back within hours, and not simply from a scripted ‘customer service agent’ that was telling me someone would be in touch soon! This was a real person that actually performs the real work, asking for photos of the space and the water and electrical connections and asking about parking!! After some back and forth with those details I was provided an estimate and once I’d agreed to that I was put on the schedule for the following day. Two young gentlemen arrived on time and got right to work, dealing with the complexities and showing professionalism and friendliness and respect for the property. They worked efficiently and cleaned up well. One item that could be improved is their ability take payment - I needed my check book, which is unusual - but they explained that they had just adopted a new payment system and were working on electronic payment capability. I would definitely call them again.

When you think of getting a water heater replaced for the first time it can be an overwhelming ordeal. However, I just had an A+ experience with Evan N. from ProMax Plumbing. I called on Monday morning at 7:30am about a leaky tank that needed to be replaced and he had a written estimate to us by 10am! Not only that, but he was able to get to our condo the next morning. He was extremely professional, open, honest, and took pride in his work. I would definitely recommend Evan and his business for your water heater needs. Evan was great. There were some challenges installing a new water heater in a 120 year old house but he handled everything with a great attitude and the work was top-notch. Highly recommend.

My bathroom was completely gutted and he came in and had great ideas that fit my budget. He put all new plumbing in for a free standing tub and walk in tile shower. Evan at ProMax was the only one to get back with a written quote to replace our failing water heater, and he was able to make time the very next day! High quality work! I’ve hired Evan in the past (water heater replacement, water supply line leak, a pin nail through a cold water line, and replacing old shutoff valves throughout the house) and always gotten high quality work and advice. Basically ask for his opinion and he will give you the reliable solution he would use in his own home rather than the most profitable solution.

We had a leak in our attic pipes and Evan came out and fixed it. While he was fixing it he found a leaking hose bib and replaced it right away. Good quality work and we will definitely be hiring him for any future plumbing jobs! Highly recommend Evan!

Found our heater leaking Tuesday morning and he was out Wed early afternoon. Home depot and 4 other plumbers all told me Sunday or after. So Evan did a full replacement in about 3.5 hours, everything was clean and neat and he even moved the spot slightly so that I could more easily access my main water shut off, he explained everything clearly and wore his mask as requested. He even spent a bit of time letting my 4yo talk at him which made the kid's day. Price was fair and im pleased with the quality. 10/10 would absolutely work with again.

ProMax (Evan) was professional, and prompt. Our old water heater failed and was leaking water in our garage. Evan was able to re-arrange his schedule, find a new replacement water heater and install it in a day. He texted when he would arrive and arrived on time. Evan is awesome, we got back from vacation on tuesday to find out we had a water heater that was leaking everywhere. I called a couple guys and took pics and told me since I had radiant heat they couldn't get the job done. in short ProMax Water Heater was recommended to me, and Evan was so quickly to reply and he found a tank that would work with my radiant heat! he came early on Thursday morning and not only did he install the water heater he was looking for other future problems since the pipes were making some weird sound. Everything is fixed now and I know if iI need any plumbing services in the future I will be quick to give him a call

EVAN was so HELPFUL and KIND!
We had gone on vacation and accidentally turned off the pilot light on our water heater instead of just turning the dial down to vacation mode, and when we came back I didn't know how to turn it back on. I watched youtube videos but it wasn't obvious where to put the stick lighter. I called ProMax found on a google search in the Bellevue area and Evan stayed on the phone with me and walked me through what to do step by step. He knew he wouldn't be getting a service call fee but he didn't even say anything about that, he just helped me get our pilot light on and water heater working again! THANK YOU EVAN!

Over the years I have used a number of plumbing companies and plumbers. Hands down Evan and Promax plumbing has set the bar for what a fantastic plumbing experience should be. Evan is reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, on-time, diligent and candidly really seems to care about the job he does and the customer he serves. I really cant say enough... he is a total rock star across an industry which seems to be a hit or miss experience . Please dont call Beacon (brutal experience)... call Evan!

Evan was friendly and professional. He determined the problem quickly and was able to resolve it same day. I appreciate that he showed me the damaged heating element and explained what was likely to have happened with an improper hot water tank install that had been performed by the flippers I purchased my home from. Evan was professional and super polite. He found a leaky water pipe leading to my bathtub faucet and was able to repair the pipe behind the shower wall without draining and moving my water heater and cutting into the wall. Nicely done!

When I called this service. The person on phone said there is no charge for check water heater.when the repair guy came he did not tell me what was the fault he opened the box and he talking on phone. After one hour I asked what was the fault. He told me he put new sensors.but he did not put any sensor.he ask me to pay $ 550.00. When I told him that is too much money .he called to company then he said ok I gave u discount pay $340.00. I paid $ 340.00.then he left after couples hour I turned my heater on problem is same . They are unprofessional people. Don’t use this company

You don't have to worry about them trying to do work you don't need. He was very thorough and did a great job. I have tried various plumbers and I can honestly say I trust in the work he did and in the estimate he provided. He showed up on time and kept in contact. If you are looking for a plumber and or water heater guy. Trust this company. I am glad that I finally have someone I can call to do the work I need.

I had Evan come out and install an icemaker box for a new fridge. Made quick work of splicing in a water line for the box and was finished with the job in no time. High quality of work and would highly recommend having ProMax look at what you need done when it comes to hot water heaters or plumbing.

Evan + team killed it on my tankless hot water heater install--I was super impressed that he was super patient and willing to work with me, a total n00b at hot water heaters, on placement, long term remodelling project considerations, and also venting options. Got me on the schedule in a timely fashion to accomodate my impending chimney removal work, and was simply a delight! Loving our infinite hot water and freed up a ton of space in our home. Also, by fair the most reasonable estimate/total cost for the job compared to other companies in the area (I got several quotes and did.... way too much research, let me tell you.)
