Best Repair/Maintenance in San Jose CA

I made the appointment at 8am and by 4pm I had a new hot water heater installed and working. Bobby followed all the safety rules for the virus and explained all the options available to me. I appreciate all the work he did by himself.

If you're scanning reviews, then the bottom-line is that Local Rooter & Plumbing arrived quickly - and they did a great job getting my main sewer line open quickly.

After taking a shower, my son says, Hey Dad...the water is not draining in the shower. Oh great. I immediately checked the tub on the other side of the wall, and it had several inches of water in it, too. I responded to my son to not flush a toilet.

Initially, I called a rooter company I had used two years ago - and had liked. But, they were booked until Thursday. Since it was Tuesday, waiting was a non-starter.

I checked for another rooter service and came across Local Rooter & Plumbing. I liked seeing all of the positive Yelp reviews, so I called them. They picked up the phone and had someone to my house within about 60-90 minutes. The first guy did not have the right equipment (possibly because on the initial call I mentioned the standing water in the tub - and them possibly thinking a smaller snake was all that was needed). The service tech on-site called another service tech (Johnny) who showed up within minutes.

Within moments, Johnny knew just what to do. Instead of a tradition heavy-duty powered snake, he broke out a high-pressure water-jet set-up that made quick work of clearing-out the main sewer line.

In addition, I happen to also have a clogged-up underground corrugated hose that had been set-up to take the rain water from a downspout and deliver it to the sidewalk area. It must have gotten clogged-up by all of the particles from the roof tiles - maybe some leaves. It's been clogged for 2-3 years, and it's been a watery mess next to the porch when it rains. Johnny attacked it from both ends with the water jet, and he got it completely cleared-out. Icing on the cake!

Johnny was professional and personable the whole time. The cost was reasonable for what I asked them to do. I recommend Local Rooter & Plumbing - and I will likely call Johnny back in the future should my main sewer line (or underground downspout line) get clogged again.

Johnny and Abraham are such an efficient and professional team. They arrived promptly, came prepared with PPE and their tools, and effectively diagnosed and carefully remediated my issue. They tested my garbage disposal thoroughly to ensure that there are no outstanding issues, and also offered tips on how to avoid any future problems. Johnny and Abraham are exemplary plumbers and highly skilled technicians. I will definitely reach out to them in the future.

We needed our tankless water heater to be cleaned and de-scaled. Martin was knowledgeable, responsive and efficient. He was on time, completed the work per schedule and was helpful in understanding the different options whenever I reached out to him. Their price was also competitive.

Christian was very polite and good at explaining what was going on with our hall shower. The price was reasonable and the work was completed. I will definitely be calling them for all my future plumbing needs.

Not recommended. I'll be charitable and say no more, other than to simply say: Call a different company. You'll be glad you did in the end.

Every one of the staff was highly professional. They communicated before, during and after. They used high-tech systems to make the transaction easy. They did great work. Glenn has attracted a crew of top-notch professionals.

I had a water leak in my 20-year-old water heater and needed it fixed/replaced immediately. They were very responsive and came out quickly.

I probably could have found someone to do it cheaper, but might have had to wait longer as the leak continued, and may not have done a good job. They were recommended by a trusted source so I didn't get a second bid. But I'm confident that if anything needs attention in the future, they will respond promptly and professionally.

I recently had a great experience with Shark Plumber. Their technician arrived promptly, diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly. Overall, I was very impressed with their professionalism and service.

Unfortunately I didn't have the same great experience as everyone else. Steve was good and his work came highly recommend from a friend who does woodworking. However, his lead, Bob,who was assigned on our project lacked the customer service and craftsmanship that we expected.

My recommend to continue your search unless you can confirm Steve is working on site.

Simple repair of disposal. Martin did not charge for the service. I will use them for the next job for sure.
