I recently had the pleasure of working with Kyle from Plumbtree Plumbing and Rooter for the installation of a new toilet and repair of water damage in my home. From start to finish, Kyle was professional, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable.

The installation of the new toilet went smoothly and Kyle took the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had. He also identified and fixed the source of the water leak, preventing any further damage to my home.

In addition to his expertise, Kyle was friendly and courteous throughout the entire process. He was punctual and made sure to clean up after the job was complete.

Our sewer line needed clean out and a friend referred Plumbtree Plumbing to us. We were able to schedule an appointment the next day. Whilliam, our technician arrived on time and was very knowledge and professional. He was able to clear the line and resolved our issues. Overall the service from Plumbtree was great. They were responsive, professional, and provided quality work. We will definitely use Plumbtree again for our future plumbing needs.

I really liked the plumbers professionalism and detail in his work. They didn’t show up to the first appointment since they got held up with another job but he showed up on time to the second appointment and did a really good job. He cleaned up after himself and the person who answered the phone was extremely nice. It was also nice to get a written estimate via email. I got text updates on arrival time and the follow up appointment. I would definitely recommend this service. I will most definitely use them again.

I signed up after Anthony Mortin's initial home visit about water heater replacement project. Anthony is a delightful young man who came across very knowledgeable in plumbing issues while exhibited his personal enthusiasm to help resolve plumbing concerns which all helped to gain my trust. Anthony is courteous, professional and personable. The installation crew were professional at their work. Be prepared for their price tag, however it is balanced with a company crew interested to stand behind their work and maintain a long term working relationship with the customers. I wouldn't hesitate to refer, it's a keeper!

I have used Plumbtree twice now, and both times I was happy with their service. I called them for a laundry drain clog that urgently needed to be fixed, and they responded quickly. They sent two technicians (Anthony and Thomas) who not only cabled and flushed the drain, resolving my issue, but also did a quick general inspection - including replacing the flapper valve on my toilet (which was constantly running) and adjusted the lift chain so that it would actually flush correctly… for free! They were polite, professional, wore shoe covers without being asked, and even crawled under the house to make sure there were no leaks or anything, photographing the supply and drain sides for future reference and to gauge anything that needed to be monitored. They had documents and receipts electronically available before leaving and were generally a pleasure to work with.

This past week I requested they return for an estimate to do a complete re-pipe and new water heater, among some other little issues I wanted resolved. Anthony showed up on time, was courteous and professional and spent over an hour inspecting and taking pictures and walking me through everything he was seeing, along with giving pointers and suggestions for different options available.

In the end my experience has been positive and while their prices are higher than average, their service quality reflects it.

We had a DIY project that quickly escalated to something we weren't comfortable completing on our own. We found Plumbtree on Yelp and the entire experience was fantastic. From the first phone call to schedule, text updates on timing, and a wonderful tech (Mario Q.) that was so respectful of or home (wearing boot covers + mask) that walked us through his work, provided a clear estimate, and did a great job, we couldn't be happier. We've finally found our go-to SJ plumber!

Anthony was a great help! He had helped me before with one of the bathroom tub faucets and showed me what was wrong and how to fix it. He then came another time cause my other shower head was having an issue and he came in and was great at fixing the problem! Very professional and a great technician to see and learn how they do things! Definitely would recommend and go for for future repairs/installations!

Really happy with Anthony Morin’s service. We called him as our sump pump did not work during the recent rains. Anthony checked and determined that the sump pump is working fine, and the issue is just with the electrical breaker that keeps tripping . He advised us the sump pump can run for some more time even if it is old and saved us from a costly replacement. He gave us advice on long term maintenance. Thanks.

Anthony was fantastic. He explained what he would do with a 90 day guarantee. Cleaned our laundry room drain. Clean up after himself. Was very knowledgeable about my hot water recirculater pump. let me know that their was a new one that had a smart timer that would help with the on and off timing. My current one is an analog timer. Would use again.

From the time I called to the job delivered, it was smooth and professional. On making an appointment, it was a nice experience with the lady who answered the phone and making an appointment. The details of the appointment were immediately email to me. Their process involvement text reminder. More importantly the tech (Anthony) showed up on time. Anthony was very helpful explaining the possible source of a leak that damaged the baseboards of a half bath. He also addressed a hot water valve issue in the laundry room and provided quotes for other plumbing jobs (shut valve replacements in the house) which were promptly delivered via email even before he left.

Other plumbing companies I have tried before have either been difficult to contact or did not return calls. Worst still they did not show up for the appointment and did not even bother to reply for an update on an appointment they missed (do they want to re-schedule??).

I am definitely using Plumtree services again and recommended them based on this experience.

They replaced the shut off valves for my washing machine supply.
It was basically unscrewing the two valve and screwing 2 new ones on. Their customer service was great but their pricing was absolutely absurd. I was charge $627 for this work that took less than 45 min. This was also with a 5% coupon. The hard part about plumbing is that you usually don’t have the luxury of shopping around and you are usually caught in an urgent situation so you are at their mercy. I probably will not use them again with these type of rates.

Anthony and Tristan from Plumbtree arrived on time and were able to clear a blockage in our sewer pipe in a couple of hours at a very reasonable price. They were professional and easy to work with. Our experience with Plumbtree was excellent.

Plumbtree was very responsive. My main was leaking and they came right away. Anthony was very polite and knowledgeable. The explained everything in detail and started working on my leak right away 4 hours they replace the fixture not only is it far more durable but is far easier to.access.

Great customer service from handling the initial communications to the final invoice.
I had several SJ Water bills which were 4 times more expensive than what it used to be before Covid. I found out that a possible leak is not from the street to the house but from the house main valve towards the property. Anthony came and thoroughly inspected the property and recommended installing an additional backyard valve leading to the pool which wasn't possible to control, and found the water pressure from the utility company was 138PSI - 75% more than maximum allowed pressure to the house!!! , he then installed a pressure regulator and regulated the pressure down to 70PSI. After these repairs there's no leaks in the system anymore. What a great job, highly recommended!!

Anthony and Tristen are super helpful! They came to my house on time, quick diagnosis on the issue of my shower panel and have it fixed quickly. Also like the way that they are very friendly, patience and keep my house clean while doing their work. Greatly appreciated!

Mario and his team were efficient and professional. They had to come back to do a 2nd snaking, and I was afraid they would charge me twice. But they only charged once despite having to bring a team of 3 plumbers back to get under 2 crawl spaces to find the root-cause of the backup.

They've got modernized systems like automated texts letting me know who was on the way and airdropping pictures underneath the crawl space.

They were very professional and determined that our sewer lateral was blocked and that the city needs to address the issue. They offered upgrades to our (old) plumbing but did not push services that were not required. They were honest, polite, and professional. Recommend.

Pulled a new 4 sewer pipe from house to street, worked in the pouring rain, cleaned up after themselves, and got everything completed and working again in one day. Excellent work and customer service. Time will tell, but I feel that they knew what they were doing and that the job was done right.

Update: Anthony helped us again with a different property. He found & fixed a mysterious gas leak spot, and ensured us passed the city inspection. He easily became our go to person at Plumbtree.

Called in for an emergency in heavy rain when the sump pump alarm went off. Tristan and Anthony came over within few hours to check out the sump pump. They were professional and were very reasonably priced for an emergency service as well.

Our water heater went out on Sunday afternoon. They came on Monday, replaced the old water heater with a new one. Which meant replacing all the out dated plumbing. Kept me informed on what they were doing.

We had a drain backing up. Anthony came within 2 hrs of our call and diagnosed an issue with the main sewer line. They were ready to come the next morning to do the repair, but the symptoms abated so we had a bit more time. We agreed on a more convenient time for the work and they arrived on time did super-professional work and were easy to work with. They are not the least expensive, but are awesome at customer service and I have high confidence in the quality of the work.

Mario from Plumbtre plumbing was first class. He accurately diagnosed my problem, which turned out to be a sewer blockage out by the street and told me who in the city to call, and it was fixed within one hour. He was on time, very professional, and effective.

Plum tree Plumbing’s courteous and professional crew arrived on time and efficiently identified the cause of the foul smell emanating from under a bathroom. They identified the problem, completed the work within the timeframe and cost estimated. While they were under the house with access to the main line they showed how things looked, where potential stress points existed. It’s VERY old plumbing in my 94 y/o mothers house. They gave her information needed to make decisions about just fixing the immediate problem or doing some preventative work too. There was absolutely NO attempt to “sell” her. The goal was to inform, educate and make sure she was 100% satisfied. She is. I’m her daughter, I was here during the process, so I can attest to this. She will use Plumbtree, as will I for all plumbing needs. She’s already given their number to her neighbors. She used a Rooter service before- what a nightmare. 2 hrs late, the cost went way over. They left mid job to do another job came back at 7 pm to finish. It was nearly 10pm before they left and one of the young men asked me out (gross). Real plumbers do rooter service too but these Rooter people are not necessarily actual plumbers. We learned the hard way that it makes a difference. So grateful to have found Plumbtree! Save yourself money and headaches- and go with the Pros.

Each and every member of the crew that came out over 2 days in an emergency situation in our home were absolutely wonderful, professional, and caring. The work they did was superb. The only (very minor) issue I had was the woman in the office answering the phones. She got very VERY snippy a couple of times, but it did not impact the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them.

I had attempted to install a countertop washing machine myself, but it wasn't compatible with my sink. I called Plumbtree and left a message. Hannah called back about three minutes later and got someone out promptly. Since it wasn't an emergency job time wasn't an urgent priority, and I was surprised at how quickly they sent someone out.

Anthony came out and was extremely friendly, efficient, and helpful. He went back to his truck to get footies to protect my hardwood floor, without me even asking. Anthony identified what sort of installation would work best for my situation and clearly specified exactly what parts he would use and why. He modified the standard dishwasher installation cost to account for the reduced labor needed for the countertop dishwasher compared to a full size unit.

The job required a part that was not immediately on hand in the truck, so Anthony retrieved the part and returned shortly and immediately got to work. Anthony completed the work quickly and triple checked everything during a test run of the dishwasher. I have had no leaks and am very happy with my service.

We worked with Plumbtree for a water softener installation and preventative horizontal re-pipe. They walked us through the entire process, gave us very transparent quotes and had no pressure while we waited a few months to start the process. We worked with Mario and he was amazing at what he did and I can't say anything negative. Every day they worked they ended the day with running water, a clean house and gave me a clear plan for the next day. 10/10 and I'll definitely use them again if we somehow have any plumbing issues in the next 40 years.

Great website for scheduling appointments and great text message updates to let me know when the plumbers were on their way. I was able to quickly get a same day appt on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. The work was done quickly and professionally. The plumbers were friendly and very efficient. The only downside is that the price was VERY expensive.

Anthony, the plumber, arrived as scheduled. He was very courteous as well and very knowledgeable. He explained everything he was going to do and went immediately to what he believed would be the source of the problem - the main sewer line entrance from the street to our property. 15 minutes later using his industrial snake he told us to try the house toilets and faucets. Everything flowed smoothly! We were ecstatic! And very reasonable pricing! We would highly recommend Plumbtree Plumbing and plan to use them for our future plumbing needs.

Our laundry tub water drainage was backing up. Mario, one of the technicians, performed an excellent job to clear and clean out my sewage drain line.

I had called a Roto-Rooter before calling Plumbtree and had to deal with a very rude roto-rooter technician. I told the Roto-Rooter technician to leave. Called Plumbtree and they were able to get me on the schedule the same day, in fact within 2 hours of calling them.
Francisco was our technician and he was absolutely great to deal with. He was pleasant, detailed, and answered all my questions. He methodically troubleshot the issue before giving me an estimate. Once I accepted the estimate, he resolved the issue, tested the toilets, sink, and cleaned the work area very well. It is worth mentioning that his drain cleaning Agur had issues with turning on and off. He tried multiple times to fix it and luckily was able to get it to sort of operating state. Regardless of this, he was able to get the drain cleaned and I appreciated the extra effort.
Pricing was on a high side, but what isn't these day, and for the level of service and expertise, it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone needing a good plumber.

I am glad that I found Plumbtree Plumbing from Google Search. Since they are extremely busy, I had to have my appointment move to a different date but that is a good sign that the business is doing well. I had a problem with a leaky outside faucet and Anthony from Plumbtree showed up and he was very professional. He answered all of my questions and completed the job in a very timely manner.
I will definitely use Plumbtree again in the future.

We had a master toilet that took 3-4 flushes to flush completely and in a drought especially, this was unacceptable. Plumbtree's dispatch was able to fit me in same day and Anthony Morin & partner responded promptly. Anthony explained that after so many years, the hard water buildup had clogged the flushing system and suggested installing a new toilet. He checked to make sure there were no stoppages in the sewer line with a snake camera. Anthony got a new toilet to fit our very small space bathroom and re-installed our bidet which ended up malfunctioning for the same reason, so he came back to reinstall the new one with no extra charge. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, professional and cleaned up after himself each time. We will definitely use Plumbtree again (and request Anthony) for our next plumbing project.

We had Axel Mendez from Plumbtree come to our house to service our water leak under the kitchen sink. Axel was able to quickly figure out it was a garbage disposal issue. After explaining what needed to be done, he left to go pick up the part and returned within an hour to install and fix our leak under the sink. Axel was incredibly professional and I was impressed at how quickly he was able to help us. I would highly recommend Plumbtree Plumbing & Rooter for any plumbing issues, and ask for Axel!

Josh, of Plumbtree Plumbing, is by far the most knowledgeable Plumbing Service-tech I've encountered in all my years. He got my hot water recirculating pump correctly installed, showed me in-depth procedures on getting air out of the line in addition to detailing procedures for my yearly draining and refilling of my water heater to preserve its life.
He is polite, professional, and very, very knowledgeable. I am enthused! His company will do all my plumbing needs in the future, and I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing expert plumbing.

Plum tree and their technician Juan did a great job replacing a dead garbage disposal for us. He was prompt, explained exactly what he was doing and installed the new disposal very efficiently. It works great and we will definitely use their service again in the future.

In a nutshell, Plumbtree has been professional and has gotten the job done right. During these past several weeks, Plumbtree performed different jobs for us, including identifying and repairing a leak, replacing a water heater, a partial repiping of a section of our home and new faucet installations. Plumbtree plumbers have come on time and have been respectful to us and our property. When we asked fo estimates for additional work, they didn't take us on a slippery slope of never-ending expenses, they just presented options when asked and did the work. Speaking of the work, the work seems to be done well- no complaints, everything is working as it should be. Plumbtree plumbing is my go to for any plumbing needs. I recently had them out to replace 2 toilets, some washer lines and shower heads. They do fantastic work for a fair price and great customer service. Mario was my technician and was great with answering any of my questions and concerns. He did a fantastic job and am extremely happy with the work.

I hired Plumbtree to fix a leaky faucet in my shower. The initial repair was a little sketchy so I asked about having them come back to make sure it was legit. They came back and made good on my concerns. They're courteous and polite, which is a big bonus.

My experience with Plumbtree Plumbing & Rooter was satisfactory despite some miscommunications with company representatives. Anthony Morin arrived on May 30 to provide an estimate to replace a 41 year old Hoyt water heater that was leaking. He recommended a Bradford and White unit --one that he has in his home.

On June 1, Technicians Juan Arreola and Jason Esparza arrived to the remove the old unit and install the new one. When they were bringing in the new unit, I noticed that it was not the one that Anthony specified, so Juan contacted the dispatch office for assistance. He then handed me the phone where I spoke to the company owner who agreed to take back other unit and install the Bradford and White unit. Once the unit was installed, I thanked Juan and Jason.

On June 16, I received a text alert that Juan was on his way to my home around 9:30am. I was at work in my office and wondered why I received this alert as I was not aware of a scheduled appointment for that day. Soon after I received a call from the Plumbtree from Hannah. She explained that the appointment was scheduled in error and that they needed to schedule an inspection date for the water heater installation by the City of San Jose Code enforcement and they were aware that at least one installation detail needed to be corrected. Hannah scheduled another appointment for me for Jun 22, 2022 to correct the installation deficiency. Juan arrived around 9am and completed that task---the connection from the pressure relief valve needed to be solid copper pipe with a brass nipple connection to the existing galvanized steel pipe as code requires.

Hannah at Plumbtree dispatch scheduled an appointment for final inspection on July 12, 2022. The City of San Jose inspector arrived shortly after 8am and asked to see the permit and inspect the installation. He noted 3 areas of installation that did not meet code. He noted on the permit that the inspection failed, returned the permit to me and said another inspection would be required to be scheduled by Plumbtree once the corrections were made and then left. Juan arrived about 10 mins later. I informed him that the inspector had inspected the installation and found 3 areas of concern that needed correction. He called back Plumbtree dispatch for advice and to get more detail on what corrections were needed to pass the code inspection that had been uploaded by the inspector to the City of San Jose Code Enforcement portal. Juan completed the required modifications by noon and said that he would be back on July 14, 2022 to meet the inspector for reinspection. Juan arrived shortly before 8am to ensure that he did not miss the inspector. The City inspector arrived around 820am . They went to water closet where the inspector confirmed that all the required corrections to the installation had been made and then signed off as completed and passed final inspection.

Plumbtree worked with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the installation, accommodating me with workable appointment dates, and that the installation met code requirements.

My dishwasher was not working properly. Mario performed a diagnostic check and determined the problem. While he was here there were a few other things with my kitchen sink plumbing I was not happy about. He had suggestions and I am now very happy.

I’m so grateful for their service. I had a clogging problem in the house and the toilet wasn’t draining. The chat agent immediately connected me to their hotline, and the lady over there set up an appointment right away. Francisco the technician came on time within the promised window and did a thorough inspection including getting into the crawl space of the house. He was also very clean and used multiple shoes covers whenever he entered the house. He also used a crawl suit to keep himself clean while getting into the crawl space. I was so happy to see that because it really set Plumbtree apart from other plumbing services. He did a quote for me on the iPad after the inspection and answered my questions patiently before he drafted the contract. Everything was so clear without any ambiguity. It turned out I had a pretty bad clog on the mainline, and Francisco cleared the line. He was very knowledgeable, and he showed me the pipe camera image and communicated every step throughout the whole process, and he cleaned up everything afterwards, including all the messy stuff bursted from the pipe before he came. Everything was done professionally. All the paperwork was done electronically and there was follow up from the company shortly afterwards. Having a clogged pipe is no fun, but I’m so grateful Plumbtree made it a pleasant experience.

Recently (July 2022) we contracted with Plumbtree Plumbing to replace our waste lines, sewer line and gas lines.

We’ve lived in our house for 31 years. The house is about 60 years old. The waste lines and sewer lines were original, galvanized steel pipes. They were near the end of their expected lifetime, and were beginning to leak and rust through. The gas lines had a small leak. Mostly being original, it seemed time to replace them also.

This was a big job. And not cheap. With city inspections, the job lasted all of July, though workmen were on site perhaps 12 to 15 days of that. Think of it as a small remodeling job, and you will be in the right frame of mind. Remodeling jobs can be rough on the occupants, but Plumbtree and its subcontractors did a great job making things smooth.

Great care was taken to minimize the impact on our house. Walls had to be opened, but the team managed to do so mostly in places that were inconspicuous, such as under sink cabinets. To access the crawl space under the house required going through a bedroom closet. They put up a plastic tent with a zipper to keep dust from entering the house. They covered our hardwood floors with matting to prevent damage. The kitchen line required some removal of stucco outside. The sewer line work required digging two large holes in the front yard – one by the house foundation and the other by the street. I’d like to give shout-out to the subcontractor, TrenchFree, who put in the new sewer line using trenchless techniques, avoiding major disruption to our landscaping. They did great work.

We were very pleased with the attention to leaving a clean, safe workspace at the end of each work day. Floors in the house were swept. The excavations in the front yard were covered with plywood at night and roped off to prevent anyone from accidentally entering.

Major plumbing work does mean that for some periods of time, you can’t use your sinks or bathrooms. We were pleased that these periods only happened a few days, and most days were only for a few hours. At the end of each day, temporary connections were put in place to make things usable.

We are also very pleased with the repair work done once the plumbing was complete. Wallboard had to be patched up. In one place that wasn’t under a counter, it had to be textured. The work was done so well that had I not known the wall was opened there, I would not notice it. Likewise, the outside stucco work matched the surrounding wall very well. Even the color is a close match. We plan to paint the house in another year or so; once that is done the work will be unnoticeable. So, kudos to the drywall subcontractor, Drywall Doctor, for their great work.

We appreciated the attention to detail. Some small things: Plumbtree cut a hole in a screen in order to move new pipe under the house. When the work was done, they were careful to replace the screen. When replacing the laundry waste lines, they put in a faucet over the garage sink, something we had been wanting for a while but never got around to. The city inspector noted an issue with our water heater, which a different contractor had installed some months before. Plumbtree took care of that. All the workers were good about wearing masks when working in the house. We appreciated this; we wore masks for them as well.

We were very pleased with the communication with Plumbtree. Mario Quiñonez was the point man, co-ordinating the arrival of other workers and with the sewer replacement and drywall subcontractors and the city inspector. He let us know a day ahead when people would arrive and approximately what time. He was good too about letting us know when our plumbing was usable. We enjoyed working with Mario, and all of the Plumbtree team.

And we are especially pleased to have these new pipe systems which should last decades.

So, overall, we are very glad we chose Plumbtree for this project.

Plumbing issues are never easy to live through so it was nice that I was given options and a clear path to success. The work was done extremely well, they showed me what they were doing and why they were doing it so I knew everything about the job as they performed the work.

Professional, friendly and communicative. Texted before arriving in early part of two hour appointment window. Axel wore a mask and shoe covers. He assessed problem, explained it, came up with clear bid. Did the work fast and cleaned up after himself. He even offered, at no additional charge, to climb under the house in our grimy crawlspace and check the pipes. He came out with lots of pictures and ultimately gave everything a clean bill of health. Next time I need some plumbing work I will call Plumbtree.

Technician was on time, only a few minutes after start of advertised window. Personable and professional-seeming. He replaced our old, leaking pressure-regulator valve and also our main shut-off valve, as requested. Not cheap, but nothing is, these days. Only problem: I asked about checking and setting water pressure, and was told units come preset to some reasonable pressure. Wrong! When he left, water was barely running. I bought a gauge, which read only 20 PSI (typical range is like 45-55 PSI; many prefer up to 70). I upped it to 55 PSI, and things seem much better. he should have checked it before leaving.

We called about our clogged drain on a Sunday, not knowing if we’d get an answer. But Plumbtree answered our call and arranged to come within a 2-hour window the next morning. Axel arrived right on time after texting to say he was on his way. He was friendly and polite, and I appreciated that he wore a mask and shoe covers as he entered. He explained each part of his procedure and why it was done, and he had the drain cleared out in short order. I didn’t expect more, but he crawled under the house to be sure there was no problem there. (There wasn’t.) He was very professional with estimates, timeliness, and communication. We recommend this company highly.

We had Anthony with us to solve our toilet slow-drain issue. He is SUPER! Very professional and patient in troubleshooting and answering our questions. He took off and re-installed our toilet to remove the roots clogging the pipeline. The whole progress was smooth and efficient. Will definitely come back to him again!

Two men showed up to my house today to inspect a plumbing pipe leak. They were highly professional, even wearing covers on their shoes before entering. They didn’t detect any leaks but stayed for as long as necessary to make sure of this. No charge of course, I highly recommend this company for their knowledge, patience and professionalism.

I contacted them to drain a clogged sink. However, the technician was not able to clear the drain. He had heavy machinery but could not identify the problem. He recommended that we needed to break down the walls to identify the problem ( estimated thousands of $$).

I then called another plumber who had half the machinery but was able to snake through and clear the clogs.

3 stars because the technician was very nice and he waived the service fee when he was not able to fix the problem. He also fixed a minor leak in the pipes. He was professional and friendly.

These guys Rock!!! We had a drain line that was driving us crazy it was so slow to drain and eventually became blocked. Called them up and they were so great to work with in setting up an appointment especially after I messed up the first one we set up. The technician (Anthony) called before coming over and was extremely courteous and got right to work. He explained what he was doing and got right to work. Stayed late to get the drain cleared and briefed us on what he did once done. Billing was kick and easy and it was a great price for such a short notice call. will definitely keep these guys number for any future work!!

Plumbtree just replaced our sewer line and most of the sewer piping under the house. I've worked with a number of contractors over the years and the Plumbtree team were by far the most professional, and delivered the highest quality. They always called me by name, notified me when they were on their way, and took the time to explain what they were doing and show pictures. We are about to undergo some landscaping work, and they were willing to place the sewer clean out in a location that won't interfere with future concrete work. Every time they needed to go under the house they laid a floor protector, and whenever they came into the house otherwise, they put on little booties. Quality work, however, is not cheap. I guess the biggest compliment I can give is that the work was done so well I'll probably never need them again.

They helped me with a very difficult older Grohe shower cartridge repair as well as an older Rheem water heater thermocouple repair. Both done the same day, reasonable price, friendly service and careful with our recirculator.

Our ancient bathroom sink decided to leak (on a Saturday, of course). Despite the fact that it was a weekend and he was about to view The Blue Angels with his family, Glen, the owner, answered the call. Glen was very patient and listened to my struggles in trying to explain the issue - It’s a 50 year old sink with the knobs built-in to the counter and on opposite sides of the basin. After sending a few photos, Glen understood exactly what was going wrong and said that he would send out a technician, despite the fact that he only had two technicians working that day and they were pretty much booked. Fortunately, there was a technician working another job fairly close by. The technician’s name is Mario and he is terrific! He arrived within the time window that Plumbtree’s automated servicing tool had texted to me, wore a mask the entire time, and even put on booties to avoid any scuffs on our flooring. Mario took the time to confirm what the issue was, even showing me the defective parts and then outlined each option from least to most expensive. Since we plan to renovate this bathroom, Mario recommended the most practical and functional option. The price seemed pretty reasonable, especially considering it was a Saturday afternoon.

Because he was one of two technicians working that day and Glen squeezed us in between jobs, Mario had to leave as soon as he could. However, he never left us feeling like he was rushing or cutting corners. He was very efficient, professional, and kind. Mario even went to Home Depot to procure a replacement faucet because he did not want to leave our family of six down a bathroom sink for the weekend. He also saved us some money because he found that the valves that I had thought were broken actually were perfectly fine and did not need to be replaced. Mario installed the replacement faucet, cleaned up, and said that he would be back the following Tuesday to finish up (it was some very minor work - removing the old faucet’s hot and cold knobs and then installing caps in their places). True to his word, I received a text from Plumbtree’s service system on Tuesday and, yet again, Mario showed up well within the time window indicated on Tuesday.

Based on our family’s experience with Plumbtree, it was easy to tell why they have such high scoring reviews… they earn it! Will not hesitate to call on Plumbtree (and Mario) in the future… HIGHLY recommended!

My kitchen sink was clogged out over night and worried about it. I called Plumbtree Plumbing and Rooter, Anthony Morin came and fix it within half hour. Anthony is very quick and professional. I am very happy with him and planning to use Plumbtree in the future. I highly recommend Plumbtree.

We called and scheduled an appointment between the hours of 9 AM and 11 AM. Juan showed up promptly around 9 AM. This was within the promised window and followed the text message we received to alert us he was on his way.

I told him about about the problem. The shower tap had reversed itself and Now would turn on when it was supposed to turn off, and turn off when it was supposed to turn on.

He was able to get access and diagnose that it was the shower cartridge. I had purchased a couple of those after watching YouTube and one of them turned out to be right so he didn’t have to make a trip to the supply store.

The proper cartridge was installed and oriented correctly and the shower now works wonderfully.

I was given an estimate of the cost in advance and that’s what it cost me. I will be calling them again probably to have them just check on my sewer line with their camera.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of all my contacts with this company. I called this company, based on a recommendation, when I had a large increase in my water bill. I had three contacts with the company, the first to inspect the inside and the outside for possible leak sources, the second to establish what work had to be done, and the third to do the actual repairs. After the work was done, thorough documentation was provided. Everyone was courteous, and knowledgable, answering questions and providing information. I was notified via email each time a technician was on his way, a courtesy not often provided by companies.

I could not have been happier with the services and knowledge I received from Axel with Plumbtree. He explained all the issues at my Condo, the types of old currently installed plumbing and what my best options were and the various price points. One of the best parts of the experience with Plumbtree was when the contacted me to let me know that they'd had an emergency and needed to reschedule my time to another day. The kitchen/Laundry drain clogged on a Sunday morning. I called and they actually answered the phone. An appointment was scheduled for Monday at 9 to 11AM. The technicians showed up at 9:30 and the job was done at 11:00. They were professional and meticulous with the job. Couldn't be happier. It is great to have a reliable plumber in the rolodex.

Friday night at 5:30 pm the waterline was cut with a sawzall blade. It’s 7:30 pm and water is running again thanks to PlumTree Plumbing and Anthony Morin. We appreciate the quick response, you are our hero’s!

I called on Sunday morning about clogged kitchen sinks, not really expecting help until the following day. Glen answered, listened to my problem, and said that while he was short-handed, he could have someone there that afternoon.

Their plumber, Francisco, encountered a real emergency at another house which took longer than expected, but Glen kept us informed and was very apologetic about the delay. Francisco finally finished his other call and came in the early evening. He was friendly, capable, polite, and thorough. He fixed our problem.

I was very pleased with Plumbtree and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Price is too high to replace water heater with labor ie $6400. Quote is not transparent. Process is explained well, when asked if they will do a permit, they said yes but did not bother to elaborate time it takes and how the process works. Even parts are marked up to 600%. Water drain tray is $185. Only positive, cost for inspection and estimate is $40.

I had a broken outdoor water faucet that was leaking below some pavers. I called them in the evening right before they closed and they were able to send someone early the next day. They were extremely responsive to my needs and went above and beyond making sure to diagnose the problem (even pulling out pavers and digging through some mortar) and come up with a good solution. Their pricing was very fair and they even threw in a first time customer discount! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fair and reliable plumbing service.

I had an emergency plumbing job at an apartment building and I called them and they were very very fast in responding. When they got to the job they quoted me a price that was so above the going rate that I told them to leave. It ended up the company that did the job was half the price that Plumtree Plumbing wanted to charge.

They notified me the timeframe when the technician will arrive. The technician came on-time and well prepared with PPE. Service I needed was removing roots from septic leach field. Upon viewing my situation the technician said their equipment was likely to damage my old pipes. I elected to not proceed. They did not charge for the house call. Everyone I dealt with could not have been nicer. The next time I need ANY plumbing service, PLUMBTREE will get my call.

I contacted Plumtree Plumbing company regarding the dispatcher position advertised via Facebook; Call or email if interested. (I loved that they're a family owned business) so I decided to call, and I spoke with Glenn. Glenn said he was in an interview or meeting and for me to call back at 6pm later that day.
I called back as advised at 6pm. Glenn answered and he mentioned that he was eating, and for me to call back in the morning at 9am. The following morning at 9am, I eagerly called and spoke with Ann(e), she said that Glenn was busy in a meeting. She asked for my name and number and she would pass the message on to Glenn, and that he would call me. I patiently waited...later that afternoon around 2pm, I hadn't heard back from Glenn. So I thought for peace of mind, I would make my last call. (Despite my girlfriend telling me not to waste my time) I spoke to Ann(e), and mentioned that I hadn't heard back from Glenn. She asked for my name and number again and said she would get hold of Glenn there and then, and said she would have him call me. I politely thanked her and hoped for his call.
At the end of the day, there was no call., and not a real big deal. I understand people are busy. Jobs are available and then they are not. As a current dispatcher looking for extra hours/full time, I thought this might be a great job opportunity which aligned nicely with my qualifications and experience. (As a side note; I always take it upon myself to follow up with customer queries or concerns, it's just common courtesy) If the position was filled, then I would have appreciated that communicated to me.
I also recognize that regardless how hard a company tries to fulfill the customer expectations or candidate (as I'm my case) disappointments can happen, and that negative reviews are an opportunity for a company to resolve an issue and provide better service. Update: I received a call from Glenn and he took the time to explain how busy things have been & also to discussed a career opportunity with the company. In hindsight, I probably was a little hasty; and so I apologise. I think Glenn is straight forward down to earth, hardworking genuine guy, and this is reflected in Plumtree Plumbing & Rooters reviews. It would be a privilege to have the opportunity to work with; to be a valued team member within his workforce. Even If this doesn't happen, I'm very grateful for the follow up conversation. It's with this in mind, I leave my review. I do sincerely wish Plumtree Plumbing Seasonal greetings and a prosperous New Year!

This company over charges compared with the normal price in the Bay Area. The technicians do not seem familiar with the hand work enough and do not know how to pilot light the gas water heater. Instead they suggested replacing it with an extremely pricey quote. I won’t call for their service again.

Josh came to my home to fix a broken pipe after hours. Did an amazing job. Very efficient, honest, professional, with great customer service. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Our pressure regulating valve on the water main failed. Overly high pressure caused problems like constantly running toilets. Plumbtree analyzed the issue and replaced the value in a quick and professional manner. Toilets no longer run and noisy shower pipes are now quiet.

Technician Anthony was extremely courteous, polite and professional. He answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained the process and associated costs before performing any work. Which BTW the charges were extremely reasonable. I’ll definitely use them for any future issues and recommend them to family.

Sewage was backing up into our ADU shower pretty badly when I called plumbtree in the morning. They were able to fit us into their schedule and arrived within the given window. Anthony and Austin were friendly, upfront, and realistic about the situation. Before starting they were diligent and surveyed the drain system under the house to ensure they understood the whole picture and didn't run into something unexpected that could have been seen. They needed 200ft of cable to clear the drain, but initially they tried multiple clean outs with the 100ft line in an attempt to get it done quickly and at a lesser cost. They cleared the blockage and then thoroughly ran the cable to do what they could so that we didn't need to call them anytime soon. After finally clearing the line they scoped to give us an idea of what the sewer lines were doing, condition and the twists and turns. It looks pretty bad down there. The clean up was quick and above and beyond my expectation. I'd use Plumbtree plumbing again without hesitation. Though I hope not to see them again anytime soon.

Needed a fix to a leaky shower in our home bathroom. Made the call this afternoon and the dispatcher was very friendly. Luckily, they could schedule me in the same day within two hours of my call. Glenn and Axel arrived within minutes of the original window of time that was given and quickly assessed the issue. They proceeded to give me a quote clearly detailing all that needed to be done. Once approved, they were efficient in completing the work. Axel even went out of his way to grab additional parts when it was apparent that they were needed to complete the job. No additional fees were added for the extra time and they even included a little more labor just to insure my shower was fully functional. I highly recommend Glenn and Axel of Plumbtree Plumbing and Rooter for any of your plumbing troubles.

Anthony did a excellent job. He spent time diagnosing the problem, explaining his diagnosis and solving the problem. No easy task since all my pipes are buried under a slab.

I had a reoccurring drain problem, I called Plumbtree Plumbing and Rooter for help. They sensed my urgency made an appointment for me that same day...Josh showed up at the appointed time...He appeared at my door with a mask on, and placed shoe covers on before entering my home. After doing some investigation it was determined the problem was outside my home. Part of my lawn had to be dug up... it was done with such care that when the job was complete, you could barely tell the lawn had been disturbed. I really appreciate the care given at such a reasonable cost! I will definitely used them for any other plumbing needs!

The overall service experience was outstanding! Ann who answered the phone was quick and efficient getting Axel the tech out to our house in less than 2 hours. Axel was fast and efficient, explaining 3 options and his recommendation. The technology they used in real time to text updates, email quotes, obtain authorization, collect signatures , payment and receipts was the best I have seen and well integrated into their very professional process. Everything was easily done from my phone as I was out of town.

What happens when you buy your first home and you just move in? Leaks! But no fear, Glenn and Josh to the rescue. These gentlemen were prompt, super kind, understanding, and service was top notch. When you are a first time homeowner and things start to break, you want understanding people like this to help you out in your panic state (like I was). They came out same day (within a couple hours of calling) and fixed the issue. Cost was more than fair ($248) as I was quoted more from other places and expected I would pay more. Just wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience with Plumbtree, my tenants called me in a panic explaining there was water everywhere throughout the kitchen, (I live out of state and my tenants needed help sooner than later) after calling Plumbtree I was alerted via text that my technician Anthony was in route, no more than 20 minutes after his arrival, I received a call from Anthony with an explanation as to what was happening, he even texted me photos, when I asked, “how much will this cost to fix?” his response was “well, there are a few different ways we can go about it”, and proceeded to explain different remedy options, he then emailed me a breakdown of all of the options, I really appreciate him giving me options rather than telling me what NEEDS to be done, I never once felt as if I was being upsold, let me be clear, Plumbtree is no budget plumbing company, I’m confident I could have had this work done less expensive by many other companies, I did however, decide to go with Plumbtree, it’s clear they very much care about their customers, and that they hold themselves to very high standards, I own other rental homes throughout the S Bay Area, and while I hope to not need their services again anytime soon, I won’t hesitate to use them again, thank you Plumbtree for the excellent service
