Best Repair/Maintenance in San Jose CA
Had an issue with the purchase of a new hot tub. Carlos came out and took a look at our problem. On the second review the owner Dave can along since Delcon had upgraded our electric box a couple of years back.
With the covid -19 things took a little longer but Carlos did a good job of phone calls and texting to keep us informed. As long as the hot tub upgrade was going to happen I added drop lights in my kitchen which Angle and his co worker worked with such care and communication I so appreciated there expertise and attention to details. Carlos came today to finalize the outdoor light move. Our home has siding which is unusual but Carlos was able to get the right mounting adapter and I'm in love with the look.
I am happy and pleased.

The best electrician I have had in bay area. They are responsive. Workmanship is top notch. Rates are unbeatable. Plus finally they are very honest. That alone is way better than most of the electricians in the area. No unnecessary or unneeded work done or recommended by them. I am their customer for life!

Been using Mainstream for about 8 years now. In each of our houses and for every project. Even used them for a couple of hotels I managed.
Always great guys that come out when Shane isn't there himself. However it it's a big job or a complicated one you can usually be assured the owner will be around also.
Always has a great team of guys and they do consistently good work. Clean up and always pay attention to the details.
Great company and amazing management! Can't go wrong when you use MainStream Electric!

This company is the best. They had to come fix my lights and they were all blown out. The technician was so polite, took his time to explain everything, and made me feel a thousand times better.

We had Paul out to troubleshoot our electrical issue to our main panel. He was very knowledgeable and fair with the quote to replace it. The project went better than expected. Paul and his crew were professional and made sure the job was 100% before they left. I’m very happy I made the decision to call Apex Power and Light for our electrical project. We now have a company we will call for any future electrical needs.

If you don't have an electrician that you trust, Altap should be your next call!! I normally dont trust the reviews here, but this one is real. Bahram is one of those guys that you dont feel like you are getting ripped off when you talk to him. He also really knows his stuff. Pricing is very fair for the amount of knowledge, experience, and the quality of work that you get. Do yourself a favor and save his number if you live in his service area. He is prompt, responsive, and very reliable.
He took care of an issue in my rental property promptly and followed up several times when I had a lingering issue which turned out to be PG&E's problem.

Juan was very helpful, professional and patient and had a lot of knowledge about the AC units and it’s performance. He had all the tools needed and explained the process step by step. I was glad he was bilingual and could explain everything related the AC Unit and all the parts of the equipment in Spanish :)

So glad I found these guys they do a great job. They came to my house the day before a holiday. They quickly solved my lighting issues. They also found a different lighting issue that I did not even know about. They fixed that as well. 5 star service all the way.

Brian and Eric are very good. They know what they're doing, and are easy to get along with. Our project finished 3 days late but, for an initial estimate of 4 weeks, that's quite impressive. One heads-up is their preference to work later in the day, contrary to my previous stereotype of the early-to-rise contractor. Brian manages projects well: he uses contracts and online billing, and is very reasonable when resolving issues or changes to the plan. Overall, I'm happy to recommend them.

Serving on the board of our HOA and as a electrical engineer (I deal with electricians daily), Im blown away by the lack of professionalism and service WIL-CAL provides. The following are MAJOR problems we had that were major factors in canceling their contract:
1 - Workers on many occasions would show up, sit in their trucks and leave. When management was questioned of what work was completed those days we could never get a straight answer.
2 - We had a service contract and lighting spec with WIl-CAL. All bulbs must follow our spec but on countless occasions they used incorrect wattage, color temperature, and even bulb type! When we would complain they would state “the electrican didn’t have it on their truck” or a similar excuse. This would be acceptable IF WIL-CAL would remove the incorrect parts upon return but they wouldn’t. We even offered the use of lockable storage spaces to keep parts on site with no luck. The result of their poor service is our campus looks horrible at night, I mean horrible, its actually quite embarrassing as members take notice. Consistent member complaints which in turn reflects poorly on the board. Which brings up a question, whats the point of a service contract if your contractor installs incorrect parts?
3 - WIL-CAL claimed parts cannot be sourced on our fixtures as they were discontinued. We have a massive site with many fixture types the could not be repaired. This includes lenses that, I kid you not, are available at our local hardware store.
Needless to say, we canceled their contract and replaced them. Our new contractor was not only cheaper, they provide additional services, following the spec, created a migration path to next generation lights (lower consumers with better spread/light quality) and has sourced replacement parts for ALL our existing fixtures. It's unbelievable what only a couple months of our new Electrican's effort looks like vs years of paying WIL-CAL.

I didn't regret my decision to have your electrician for the first alert smoke detectors installation a few days ago. I like the electrician so much because he was so brilliant and fast working on the given task. The word thank you is not enough for me to express how grateful I am to use your service. You must be known by many!
