I am the return customer with RPS ribbs plumbing. It is very easy to make appointment.
Xavier and Tim came to inspect sewer pipes at same day when I called them. They are very nice and friendly and very professional, I'd highly recommend this company to anyone in the bay area.

I am very pleased with the work that David did. David was thorough, had good communication skills and he took the time to an excellent and thorough work. He kept me posted on everything he was doing. David was also great about checking the faucets and everything he worked on ensure sure everything was working properly before he wrapped up. The first thing I noticed was his professionalism and good manners. I'm very happy I called RPS Plumbing.

We used RPS a couple time so far. The first time we needed some work done under our kitchen sink before we could have our new dishwasher installed. Tim came out and took great care of us; he was extremely thorough and personable during the process. We enjoyed him so much, we personally requested him when we needed to repair one of our bathroom faucets. Highly recommend RPS and would strongly suggest to request Tim. You won’t be disappointed.

On time and super professional. He helped me determine what the problem was and the options of how to fix my in-wall faucet. He was very good at explaining what was needed in order to repair the faucet. I will definitely use again.

We detected a leak in our main water service connection and RPS plumbing were quick to respond and do a preliminary evaluation and propose a fix. I'm a 4 out of 5 stars as I would have liked to have seen an itemized estimate, breaking the estimated cost across materials and labor, this was even not available at the time of making final payment. This is why I can't check the Good Value box as I've yet to see how costs were broken down.

Our yard is a heavy clay soil and weeks of rain meant the team were working in horrendous conditions but they maintained a great spirit and remained professional. They got the job done quickly and cleanly and did the best job you could with the conditions present. If you need quick, friendly, professional work done I'd recommend calling RPS Plumbing.

My advice to the company is to invest in some equipment that can help your teams deal with almost surface level water tables and enable working on wet yards without ripping them up so much, hessian sacking or something similar.

Tim, their service plummer was very professional. He kept me aware of everything he was going to do. Our fireplace valve was replaced and moved to the outside of the fireplace. He also installed a new burner. He tested everything and made sure there was no longer any gas leakage.

Within minutes from sending them a request, they replied and within 2 hours, they sent their technician Tim to inspect. Tim was very courteous and explained my plumbing issues very well. He came back the following day to work on my issues and was done in no time. His work space was very clean after. Pricing was also very reasonable. Will definitely use them in the future.

This is my third time using R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services. I had a leak from my upstairs bathtub and sent in a request through Thumbtack on Christmas Eve. As expected from past experience, they were very responsive and gave me an appointment on Monday after Christmas. The technician, David, arrived on time and fully explained what he needed to do to diagnose the problem before and during troubleshooting. Once he located the source of the leak, he got me a quote on the repair. Due to the holiday, no plumbing supply stores were open, so he gave me an appointment for the very next morning. Another technician, also named David and his assistant arrived and, again, were very courteous, explaining their progress at various points during the repair, including dealing with having to go out and buy a part the plumbing supply had omitted from the kit. Once they completed the repair, they performed a test it to make sure there were no more leaks and instructed me to allow the supplemental caulking in the shower to fully cure for a few hours before using the shower. R.P.S. Ribbs provides quality service at a fair price and all the technicians I have dealt with the three times I have used them have provided outstanding customer service. I will continue to use R.P.S. for all my plumbing needs!

RIBBS fixed our mixed valve and replaced the gas pipe for our water heater at a reasonable price. Tim is responsive and professional with a good heart. Definitely recommend for water heater problem.

Angel came to my house to dianose why the water heater was not working. He quickly determined that the thrmo couple had failed and also noted that the relief valve was leaking. Because the unit was still under warrantee, assisted me in getting the right parts ordered. After I received the parts via FedEx, Angel returned and installed the new parts. The water heater is working good once again. Angel was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and cleaned up very well when he finished his work. I would recommend Angel whenever he is available.

The professional quickly diagnosed our water heater issue as the faucet in one of the bathrooms not working well. Once he replaced that, everything worked like magic. Thanks!

The Service agent did his best to repair the shower faucet but it was beyond repair. he gave a reasonable quote for a replacement faucet and I will call the company when I am ready to replace it.

Jonathan arrived promptly to fix 2 toilets that had different problems. The first was fixed with replacements from his truck. The second needed to have parts ordered. In a few days he called to schedule a second appointment and upon arrival fixed it in under 30 minutes.

Responded quickly to an urgent sewer overflow and backup. Cleared it and gave advice for fixing my system. A little pricey but I’m happy with results.

My kitchen sink faucet wouldn't stop dripping so I called Ribbs to come check it out. Tim came to help us and he got there at the time he said. He was friendly and helpful in explaining the issue. The faucet was old and needed to be replaced. He gave a few faucet options and made the trek to the store and came back to install it. The installation was quick and now everything works great and looks brand new! I will definitely be recommending Ribbs services to my friends and family. Thanks Tim!

Tim Vu came over yesterday and did a great job as usual. He rearranged our dryer vent so we could push it back more, he re grouted our bathrooms, and he changed out a supply line under our bathroom sink.

The receptionist China has been real nice and easy to talk to. She does a great job in communicating to customers, she schedules the appointment windows,and calls you to let you know when the technician will arrive.
It’s been a pleasure working with this company, I will definitely use them again.

David Ribbs on a last second notice left his job site 30+ minutes away to inspect my faulty Delta shower handle. He assigned his trusty sidekick Tim who replaced/repaired the Delta shower handle *in less than 2 hours* between fetching parts vs. labor. Family owned + operated = R.P.S. David went the extra mile today and replaced recalled (defective, recycled ABS), installed in an earlier upgrade by the previous homeowner. Working in a wet, very cramped crawl space, he cut out the old pipe, installed new ABS, and had me test it before departing. He also took extra time to help troubleshoot a possible greywater leak, separate from the sewer line repair. Great attitude, a confident and hard-working young man.

RPS said they did drainage. When I asked for a bid, then a down spout and subdrain were 'outside their scope of work.' Tell people initially on the phone that you only install faucets, don't waste their time on site as well.

I said I reached out to twenty, two replied with reasonable bids, and the other eighteen wanted to do landscaping as well...all told me on the phone up front (didn't waste my time showing them, discussing, so forth.) It's ok if the experience isn't there, but making excuses instead of just saying so is just unprofessional. I hope better choices can be made going forward.

I was very pleased and impressed with the service we received from RPS Ribbs Plumbing. It was easy to set up an appointment, the person I spoke with was easy to communicate with and extremely friendly. A plumber was out the same day, and they stayed in touch with me to let me know when to expect him. When he arrived, he was professional and tidy and I was also very pleased to see him following covid safety protocols. He worked quickly, cleaned up perfectly, and the cost was fair and reasonable. I've used Ribbs Premier 3 times now. Every time they fix the problem quickly and clean up after. Like they were never even there. And the technicians are trustworthy. I will use them every time.

Tim came out within the appointed time for a water heater flush. Quoted a price, I gave him a coupon, and he proceeded to flush and inspect the water heater. Done within an hour and he advised me to wait about 45 mins. to 1 hr. for water temperature to be nominal. Very efficient and professional.

Tim gave a suggestion how my toilet drain problem can be solved while other plumbers didn't give me reasonable solution with confidence, and now my toilet pipe is fixed as he promised. The service was very good and net. I highly recommend this company.

Jonathan did a great job, reasonably priced, so much better than the giant companies out there. He explained everything, and figured out how to fix the problem without redoing the entire sewer. Seemed very reliable.

I needed to have a new toilet installed and the plumbing supplier recommended Ribbs. I called and got a live person right away which is not very common these days. I described the job and toilet type and was given a quote that sounded fair. I scheduled the installation and Angel came out exactly at the appointment time. He was super friendly, professional, and meticulous in his work. He cleaned up all the debris from the old toilet removal. The new toilet works flawlessly and I am glad that it was installed professionally by Ribbs.

Had to get a water softener tank and pressure regulator valve for the house water connection replaced. Called in bunch of service providers but Jonathan was the guy who gave me the honest inputs and from the beginning to end was great; professional but casual enough which is a great mix. Confident but practical and gave me honest inputs. TBH was totally surprised to see a young guy so skilled. RPS has my plumbing business going forward.

Thomas and his team rerouted and solved leaky gas line problem for our outdoor backyard project. He recommended to add separate shutoff valves for the grill and the fireplace, which has turned out to be a great solution for us to control the gas flow. Despite challenges with the rain, the team pulled through and finished on time. The work was high quality and professional. The cleanup was also fantastic. They pressure-washed our glass doors to get rid of the debris from cement drilling. I highly recommend their services!

When I saw water leaking from my garage wall, I called RPS. Unlike the other plumbers that I had contacted, RPS made no excuses about being busy / short-staffed / etc. They sent Tim Vu out to my house, and as promised, he arrived within 30 minutes. In about 7 minutes of his arrival, Tim diagnosed the problem, found the root cause (water heater), and mitigated the problem. A day later, he completed replacing my water heater.

However, that is not all! While he was working on the water heater, I requested him to replace a toilet that was leaking water from the tank. This one was a bit of a challenge because there is a counter above the toilet tank, so only toilets below a certain height fit there. Tim gladly agreed to the extra work (after, of course, consulting with his team), and took it upon himself to find a new toilet of the proper size. He found one on the same day, and he brought it in and installed it. While it fit very well, unfortunately, it was one of those ones with the flush button on the top of the tank, so reaching the flush button was difficult (due to the counter right above it). Tim was not one to be defeated, so he shopped around some more, found one that is far more usable, and replaced the earlier toilet. He did it all within about two days.

Throughout the repair work, Tim was patient with me, and answered all my questions.

I called R.P.S. Ribbs Premier because I needed a second opinion on a plumbing estimate for broken pipes which caused water damage in my home. From Sarah in the office to Thomas and Jonathan who came to my home, they were friendly, professional, helpful and informative. They examined the area in question in detail and provided a clear estimate with two different options. They left me with a brochure (and Jonathan took the time to quickly review it with me) and a business card as well. I would recommend R.P.S. Ribbs Premier without hesitation.
After this initial visit, we hired RPS to complete our plumbing repair after other companies failed to come or would not come out to make an estimate or look at the job. Thomas and Jonathan came back to do the work and they were courteous, personable, careful and thorough in their work and committed to excellence. Tim Vu came out initially to work on our sewer line which was clogged and also needed to install a new clean out. While he was out he also found some leaks and potential problems in our system. All was repaired in a timely way. I was so impressed by him and the company that I signed up for their home protection plan which is a wonderful security and not to mention offers discounts on service. Part of the plan was his draining the water heater. I highly recommend the company, Tim Vu, and their home protection plan.

Jonathan of RPS did an excellent job in fixing our kitchen and laundry drain leak. He carefully explained what the problem was and what needed to be done. He provided pictures and even a video of the crawl space where the leak was. He communicated with us very well answering all our questions in a timely manner. He and his crew arrived on time, carried out the repair efficiently and cleaned everything up at the end. Jonathan was very respectful and easy to work with...one of the best service people we have worked with.

I stepped into the garage today and smelled gas coming out of the water heater. I called RPS and in less than an hour Tim showed up at our place. Within 10 min he had diagnosed where the leak was, determined the parts he would need and provided an estimate for the cost of repairs. We agreed to proceed with the repairs and about 15 min later he was done with the work. He was polite, safe (wore a mask and kept his distance) and amazingly efficient. We faced an issue with a blockage in our main line. The front office was quick and responsive. The technician Thomas N. was professional, he answered all of our questions, took the time to explain the issue, the various solutions (its risk and benefits). He gave us tips on how to best prevent re-occurence of the issue. He was excellent and this company is great, will definitely go back to R.P.S plumbing for any plumbing needs that may arise.

We were in need of an emergency gas line repair and Ribbs Premier Services was perfect for the job. They came out in a timely fashion and did a great job communicating on arrival times. Mike, the technician, was friendly, competent, and thorough. They used high quality parts (not inexpensive) and I'm thoroughly satisfied with their work. I would definitely call them first if ever in need again.

We wanted to do water re-pipe, and I was calling plumbers to get house inspected. R.P.S charge $49 for coming over and inspect, while lot many do not. From reviews R.P.S looked good, and I thought to get quote and hand them over job.
Plumber came over. Rather than inspecting the house professionally he simply kept saying three words -- This is weird . He didn't want to go into crawl space, didn't want to do any real inspection.
Please avoid inspection from this company.

I booked an appointment online to repair my water heater. . Had a small issue with overbooking on googles part. But they made it happen. Sara, who runs the office did her best to get a technician to my home even though they were booked solid. Tim called me to try to evaluate or fix the problem verbally. Then came Jonathan..... he showed up, explained the problem, gave me options, and did the work I requested. He was fast , efficient, and super professional!!!! He got our hot water up and running!! I used RPS to install a pressure regulator and Flo smart water shutoff. They recommended a more cost effective way of installing the shutoff that saved me $2K over competitors quote. Quality of work is excellent, left my place clean and walked me through the install. Really impressed with their work and their pricing was very good. Highly recommend.

Great experience. The showed up within 24 hours, and within their arrival window. Had my leaks identified in 10 minutes, and fixed them. They gave me a complete play by plat as to what they were doing. Friendly. I definitely recommend them.

Johnathan and Thomas did a great job quoting and installing a water softener I had purchased from Amazon into my home that hadn't had a softener system previously. They ran dedicated water lines through the crawlspace to my hose outputs and irrigation lines and installed the system and drainage line in a way that worked best with my needs and the layout of the house. Overall they were very professional, kept me in the loop with the activity going on, and did high quality work. Will be using them again for anything I need!

My house is old and had a lot of original plumbing. Tim has come out twice now for different projects. He thoroughly explains the problem and what he'll do to fix it. He's quick and efficient. The prices are decent compared to other plumbers. His work is solid and better than the other plumbers.

This experience was one of the best home repair, upgrade projects we have had. David and his crew were very positive, professional and respectful of my home and family. I had three of our young children at home all day while the project was going on and David and his crew were polite and mindful of the children. We had five bathroom faucets and a kitchen faucet replaced and the R.P.S crew arrived on time and worked diligently for the majority of the day. These guys are awesome. I had a botched project from a previous general contractor and so I gave these guys a call and they came out on quite short notice. They were very prompt and professional. They evaluated the work and redid the project. It both looks tremendously better and there is no longer dangerous tension on the plumbing lines. They were accurate and upfront with their estimate and they even came in slightly below the estimate. They very clean during the project and they cleaned up after themselves quite well. Would definitely use these guys again in the future.

Excellent service. This is the second time I have used this company. The first time they came, they diagnosed & fixed a problem that had been going on for almost 20 years that several other plumbers in handy man had not been able to figure out. This time, they came to fix issues at they noticed the first time they came, including changing my old water heater. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They were also detail oriented. And I did compare pricing with other companies, and found they were also compostably priced

Replaced my kitchen sink great but failed on the toilet. Asked to replace the supply hose which they did, after a trip to the store. When replaced, told me that he needed to replace a flapper and another trip to the store for another $89 service charge. I could have put in a new toilet for that price. Flapper is still defective, toilet draining. YouTube can figure out the 2$ product install this weekend.

Tim Vu works currently works here and he is an excellent plumber who is personable and professional.

I had called around to a few plumbers but was not able to reach any. Within 5 minutes an agent at R P S called me back and we arranged a time to fix my water heater. Tim came to my house on time and fixed my problem in less than an hour. I had a leak above my water heater and he walked me through preventing other related problems in the future. He quoted me with a price that remained the same when the billing came through. All around great service.

Good people! Very responsive and helpful. Couldn't quite get the work done yet, just had an inspection and quote made for the time being. But, we are looking forward to working with them!

David came with his apprentice, Lau, within 2 hours of calling and promptly diagnosed the cause of a problem that had stumped several plumbers and handymen that I had consulted since the problem first appeared about 15 years ago! AND he fixed the current main problem that I was calling him for (no hot water in the shower). His rates were comparable to other plumbers, he was very professional and helpful and NEAT, and accommodated my tight schedule perfectly-completing the job in 1.5 hours! And they accept credit cards, and send invoices by email and respond to texts. Will definitely call them again.

my TOTO toilet was keeping running. Joseph and David identified the problem right way and gave me a reasonable quote, then fixed it within two hours. At the same time Joseph also checked and replaced a better switch for the water filter in my kitchen. I am very satisfied for their work and highly recommend RPS plumbing.

We had a rotten smell seeping into our garage. The PGE inspector confirmed it was not gas and assumed it was the main sewer so we called R.P.S.. Sara Anderson was nothing but professional and extremely responsive. They performed a full inspection including our entire crawlspace and confirmed the smell is from decaying rodents in the crawlspace…I would 100% recommend R.P.S. to anyone in need of plumbing services as they do what’s needed to get to the bottom of your problems.

David explained and demonstrated with photos what needed to be done to unstop and repair our bathtub drain and researched and recommended replacement faucets and fittings for two bathroom sinks. RPS is definitely a company that is going in my call again and refer to others file. 12/11/19

Had a good experience with replacing our 47-year-old deteriorating residential water service line. Tim Vu et al were transparent, communicative, responsive and objective despite some challenges working with our HOA and nearby gas lines. Came up with an outside-the-box solution to do essentially the same thing that reduced cost all round and that was approved by the City.

RPS Ribbs Premier Services Plumbing installed a new water treatment system in our home and repaired the thermal couple in the hot water heater. I was very pleased with the quality of the service, the courtesy of the work crew (Tim Vu and associate) and the cost of the service. This company is highly competent and deserves your business if you have any plumbing needs. RPS Ribbs has my highest recommendation.

I highly recommend RPS Premiere Services. I have used them several times at home and work. The latest service for a busted P-trap under our kitchen sink; it had separated and flooded under our sink. Contacted David N. in the morning and within 30 minutes Joseph S. was at the house assessing the problem. After getting the needed supplies, Joseph S. completed all the repairs and had tested the new drain – all within about an hour. Could not be happier with their service!

Thomas came to inspect sewer pipes with camera. Very professional and honest! I asked him to come once a year to do a clean out and quick inspection to stay ahead of any problems. Definitely recommend!!

The five days they were here, they cleaned up after themselves every day...did my entire house in 5 days...took 3 weeks to get the city. Inspection done...did everything else in 5 hours...dry wall, put away, etc. David Ribbs was here all the time and was terrific, as was his crew. Recommend them highly.

Had a clogged toilet that was a pain for over a month. Called RPS and they sent someone out to look at it the very next morning. Joseph S was here early and after a quick diagnosis gave me multiple options to consider which was nice. Lucky for me the first option cleared the issue right up, literally. Technician was an experienced professional and easy to work with. He responded quickly to my request for service. The price for the service was a bit more than I was expecting.

We had a severe clogging issue in the kitchen sink where the sink was getting waterlogged pretty quickly. The clog possibly occurred accumulating over the years, but Joseph looked at it and was very professional was the issue was resolved in less than 20 min. Was very happy with the service and plan to call then next time for any plumbing related issue

Ribbs employee Tony Vu was always prompt and the work was completed on time and successfully with SJ city permits. For a 20ft sewer line the price was high but not uncompetitive. Ribbs would have earned an additional star but for one issue. Tony initially said because the water line was located about 3 feet above the sewer line, he would have to replace it before repairing the sewer -- at nearly double the cost for the sewer repair. That would have been a deal-breaker. After speaking with his boss, Tony later decided that the water line was not an obstacle and the sewer repair was completed at the agreed price. This cast a shadow over an otherwise professional transaction.

Xmas eve day. Plumbing issue. We called. They arrived within the hour. Tim worked super hard to diagnose. Took quite awhile but job done well. Certainly recommend

Had one of those nightmare plumbing problems where a small problem turns into a big problem. Fortunately RPS Ribbs to the rescue. While diagnosing, they also spotted a GIANT problem which would have turned into something far, far more expensive in the not too distant future.

Prices were reasonable, especially for the responsiveness and quality of the work.

They responded and fixed our leak quickly. The plumber was friendly and communicated clearly throughout the process.

Excellent service. Dave was here within a few hours of the first phone call. He was here approx 5 hours, did a thoroughly professional job. We won't hesitate to call him again when we have another problem.

Had this guys come out to look at a leak I had, Dave performed an evaluation, figured out was wrong and was able to solve the problem the say day. Fast, efficient and great price compared to other plumming companies.He even performed and evaluation of the entire system at no extra cost, he found nothing else wrong. Very honest guy

Joseph arrived promptly after notifying me he was on the way. Upon arriving he tackled my my shower plumbing job & completed the job in no time. Plus he checked plumbing under my bathroom sink to be sure everything tight. I was impressed as cleaned up after himself.

I Called up RPS for a normal faucet leak and turns out I had a lot more problems then Expected but that wasn’t a problem when Erine got to my house he had very extensive knowledge of what the problem was and how he could get the job done I’m very pleased with the work and how he explained everything to me as he got the job done. Arrived on Time. Good description of work. Not willing or able to run camera so that a quote could be made. Required $$ fee for camera work prior to providing a quote. No fee, No Camera, No Quote. Why bother coming?
