Came out promptly on a Saturday at no additional charge. I called probably half a dozen plumbers and they had the most reasonable quote. Matt was extremely upbeat and positive, especially unusual given that is was a cold, dark, Saturday night and he was working outside. Will absolutely use them again. Sewer line clean out. Good price and Trieu ran a camera down the line to see what all the obstacles were. Roots of course. I hope to avoid the more $$ hydrojet root cutting 'operation' for a while longer, but when needed, I'll be calling Local Rooter & Plumbing again. Thanks.

I had a leak in a 30 year old copper pipe going to my pool filter. Spent 3 days talking to about 6-7 plumbers to get an estimate. 2 of them showed up in person and one gave a quote over the phone by responding to a picture of the leak. First one gave a quote of almost $1000 and would not provide details on how exactly they will fix the leak. Second one gave an almost double quote but also suggested replacing the entire buried pipe for unknown 1000's of $$ more. Third one gave a quote in the same range but could not schedule the job for weeks. Finally, we got Edgar from Bueno Plumbing. Showed up on time, assessed the job requirements in detail, gave a competitive quote 15 minutes later in writing and scheduled the job 2 days later.

The work was done in an extremely professional manner and on time. It took him about 3 hours to finish the job. You can see the before and after pics below. This is how a professional service experience should be. The job was guaranteed for a year. I would not look at any other plumbing service in the future.

Rooter Hero cleared my drain, then they tried to clear my bank account.The short story: Rooter Hero advertised a $77 drain clearing special and tried to charge me $409 when they completed the work. They then tried to convince me to pay what seemed like exorbitant prices for work that didn't need to be done. The cost of those options ranged from $7,000 to $34,000. The same line reclogged a week later and I had to pay someone else to clear it. None of the work they recommended would have solved the real problem. I needed a “Hero” and got a “Zero”Long story: I needed someone willing to do a small job and come out quickly. Rooter Hero fit the bill. That was about as good as it got. They advertised a $77 drain clearing special with the stipulations 1) up to 75 feet and 2) with proper access. A technician showed up on time. Before he could even get the auger set up on the second floor, a second technician showed up. I thought this was curious as it couldn't make economic sense to send two trucks and two technicians for $77. As nothing had been done yet, there was also no way for them to know if there would be an issue with the job.I had already removed the toilet, so the technician had access to the toilet flange. This seemed like proper access to me and he didn't say anything about it not being so. He was able to insert the auger with no additional prep work and the blockage was removed pretty quickly. He then told me the auger was stuck in the drain and had probably gone through a hole in the pipe. I would eventually find out that wasn’t true. It took only a relatively short amount of time to extract. At that point, they told me my 12-year old cast iron plumbing was in terrible shape and needed to be replaced. They decided to scope my outdoor drain line, showing me video of what looked pretty normal but declaring it ready to fail. They showed me no images of reduced pipe diameter, tree roots, cracks or anything else obvious to a somewhat knowledgeable and fairly handy homeowner.Having completed the work, the second technician then went to his van and produced a handwritten document with several options for me to consider. He asked me to sit down so we could discuss it. The options ranged from $7,211.77 to descale the sewer line, to $34,040.62 to descale and epoxy coat the drain plus replace 2 smallish sections of cast iron drains inside the house. To replace the drain system in one bathroom (which was accessible from the garage below) was $8,212.31. That seemed exorbitant for what looked to me like 1-2 days of work and a couple hundred dollars in materials. There was no detail whatsoever, just a sentenced followed by the very precise but random sounding price. I suspect the precision of the numbers was supposed to make them seem non-random.Technician: What do you want to do?Me: Think about it... what do I owed for the drain clearing?Technician: $409. Me: What happened to $77?Technician: You didn't have proper access.A little back and forth followed about what would constitute proper access. Pretty quickly (and quite oddly), he reverted back to $77. I paid the $77 and he left.A week later, the same drain clogged again. Although Rooter Hero guaranteed the work, I called another plumber who identified the real problem and told me he didn't think any of the other work Rooter Hero recommended actually needed to be done. Rooter Hero never called back to see how I wanted to proceed.In the background of all this was a lot of chaos at my house due to an unrelated burst water supply hose under my sink which had destroyed most of my floors (and provided easy access to the bathroom drain systems). I suspect the $409 fee and $34,000 estimate was a result of checking local property values and observing the distress we were already under. Again, they did (temporarily) clear the drain. Nice guys.

Giovani was the technician that came to assist in unclogging the sewer pipe located outside. He was very efficient and polite. Thank you for making the rest of a happy one for tenants and I.

Fast service and work well done

For my large older apartment complex in San Jose, Genmor plumbing replaced all the interior water lines and a lot of exterior in ground water lines to new copper lines. They also replaced the smaller sewer lines in the buildings and some outside main lines. to ABS. And took care of some other repairs needed in the buildings. Genaro, the boss, was working at the site with his crew most of the days under the buildings and in the units and keeps his crew on track. From the Betty in the office and Genaro on-site they were a great coordination team to get this difficult job done. I highly recommend Genmor plumbing for this type of work.

Very professional even explained how my water heater works. He fixed what three other plumbers could not fix. Very good service technician 6178 will be the only plumber I will be asking for in future.

I would definitely recommend $15 Sewer Rain. They answered my call right away, scheduled a technician on the same day, and my technician Martin was absolutely awesome. He was very professional, very courteous, very knowledgeable and he was in and out within 30 minutes. The value of his service was definitely worth the cost I paid for his work. Thank you!!

I contacted Best Bay Plumbing few months ago for our irrigation pipe leak, Abel came next day and gave me honest suggestion of not fixing it as I'll be doing landscape renovation soon.

Few months later I needed plumber to install aquasana water softener & replace our gas heater with electric hybrid heater, Abel gave me fairly reasonable labor quote, and came quickly once my water heater arrives. He came with 2 of his workers on time and performed installation with care. For example he used better connector then the one came with softener. Also took care of condensation line requirement for the new heater. Worth mention they kept the job site clean and hauls away all garbage including the old heater and packaging materials.

These guys are just so good from start to finish. From the first call talking to a really pleasant person instead of endless prompts, to Phil, the guy who cleaned out our sewer line and who was super nice, experienced, professional and on time and who did the work exactly as estimated at a very reasonable rate. And the follow up call I needed to make after hours to a voicemail system that works flawlessly and got the message to the right person, they clearly pay attention to the little things as well as big... it just adds up to an excellent experience worth writing about. HIGHLY recommended.

This review has been due for some time now. I had Giovanni come to install a Pressure regulator valve and replace older faucet that was leaking in the bath room of my house. Gio was on time, courteous and did an excellent job (as usual).

He even gave us tips on bathroom remodel and few other items related to it. Gio is quite knowledgeable about the work he does I would recommend him for any work. He is priced very well as well which is extremely good for my pocket. Great service at very good price. Thanks Gio for the excellent work.
