I had a leak in a 30 year old copper pipe going to my pool filter. Spent 3 days talking to about 6-7 plumbers to get an estimate. 2 of them showed up in person and one gave a quote over the phone by responding to a picture of the leak. First one gave a quote of almost $1000 and would not provide details on how exactly they will fix the leak. Second one gave an almost double quote but also suggested replacing the entire buried pipe for unknown 1000's of $$ more. Third one gave a quote in the same range but could not schedule the job for weeks. Finally, we got Edgar from Bueno Plumbing. Showed up on time, assessed the job requirements in detail, gave a competitive quote 15 minutes later in writing and scheduled the job 2 days later.

The work was done in an extremely professional manner and on time. It took him about 3 hours to finish the job. You can see the before and after pics below. This is how a professional service experience should be. The job was guaranteed for a year. I would not look at any other plumbing service in the future.

I called on the morning of Christmas Eve with a major clog in the drain that blocked up the entire house. Bueno plumbing was there within 25 minutes and took care of the problem. I would definitely use these guys again. I think the technician was Edgar. He was very nice explained everything. Then he got to work and did the job. Five stars!!!

We had a broken dishwasher disposal and called Bueno Plumbing. They were able to send someone out the same day, but I wasn't available to meet with them until the next day. Kevin came out on time and quickly assessed the damage, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and had it working again in no time. He was so friendly & knowledgeable. I hired Bueno Plumbing and Rooter to provide Leak Detection service based on a report from the City of Sunnyvale that the meter was constantly spinning. The city representative suggested there may be a possible leak. Edgar Luna was the plumber assigned to the job. He first checked toilets for leaks, asked if there was a large increase on my bill and then suggested not using water for 10 min to see if the meter continued to spin. I explained to Edgar that we recently had tenants move into the ADU in back and both houses use the same water meter. One of the tenants had just finished taking a shower. Once water was not used for 10 min Edgar was able to determine that the meter had fact stopped spinning and there was no leak. Edgar is a great problem solver who does not blinded diagnose an issue without clearly evaluating all possibilities. Truly he is a genius, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy! Did I mention he also provides great service, workmanship and is reasonably priced?

I couldn't restart my water heater. He was on time,courteous,professional. He tried to restarted. The water heater is 17 years old. It's gone. He gave an estimate and the company didn't charged for the diagnosis.

I had a messy emergency plumbing issue and called Bueno Plumming spoke to Nicole great customer service by the way! She got me a plummer out here fast! Kevin came fast to the rescue figured out the problem. Definitely recommend this company very perfessional and got the job done fast.

Plumbing work can be costly (and this company is reasonable IMHO), you might as well get a top notch/reputable company to do the work!

Note: I have a BS in Civil Engineering and have done a LOT of my own home repairs over the years - I just don't do plumbing (but I do understand it).

Work Details: I originally called Bueno Plumbing to remove a failed cross-over valve at my hot-water heater (an uncommonly used valve that effectively acts as a anti-scald valve for the entire house - it had failed wide open in the cold position and was preventing hot water from getting to the rest of the house). This work was done professionally and for a reasonable price (and completely resolved the hot water issue).

Unfortunately removing that valve exposed a water-hammer issue with the copper piping in our home (it was repiped 20+ years ago and in hind-sight the valve had been gradually failing over the last 10+ years we have been in the house since we have now been able to greatly reduce the temperature on the hotwater heater). Thus began a cycle of trouble-shooting the water-hammer problem (which was not easily reproducible but would often wake me in the middle of the night). Note: The business owner said it was probably an unsecured pipe to begin with, but it would likely require opening walls up which could be costly. A number of repairs (to include opertunistic repares) were done without opening the walls. Most of this work needed to be done and there isn't anything that I would undo. All of this eliminated the loud water-hammer, but we still had an occassional soft knocking/vibrating noise in the pipes a couple of times a day, but now the location seemed to be fairly obvious. Today they showed up (the morning after I called them), looked into the area I believed to be the source of the problem and strapped the suspected pipes (pipes could easily be moved by hand and get a knock) - and to top it off, this visit was complimentary (pipes were behind a small access panel - plumber was agile enough to reach where I could not and do the work). So, add generous to the list of positive attributes for this business.

I called Bueno one morning because our tenant said the hot water heater stopped working. Jimmy was there in a matter of hours. He did a fantastic job diagnosing, getting the new water heater and installing it all in the same day! Also, Jimmy was especially good at explaining the problem & diagnosis, alternatives to fixing the issue, price options, installation timing, etc. I recommend this company and would definitely use them again myself!

I have relied on Bueno Plumbing for several jobs now; from installing clean outs, to replacing my sewer lateral line, kitchen faucet and valves. All their work has been quality, completed in a timely manner, and for a reasonable price. I appreciate their quick response time and for keeping me in the loop throughout the job. Edgar was very nice and helpful, changed the toilet for us, quoted us at 448 and that’s exactly what he charged. Did not charge extra for old toilet disposal, which is very nice.

Kevin and his team at Bueno Plumbing did a great job! My kitchen sink was backing up and would not drain. They did a thorough inspection and found the 46 y.o. pipe under the house leaking and the cleanout corroded. Also my pressure valve was rusted shut and I had 120PSI coming in. They fixed it all, and I am happily back to being able to use my sink, dishwasher and garbage disposal once again!

We called Bueno Plumbing because the shower pan in our main bathroom was clogged. They are very responsive and were able to come within a day. They also have a nice text msg system for appointment reminders and ability to confirm the time. Kevin called us before reaching our home on time and quickly got to work. The machine that he hauled to the bathroom was padded to prevent any damage to the hardwood floors. He was able to snake the drain and restore water flow quickly to our bathroom. He also patiently answered our questions and provided advice about other plumbing related items around our house. We will definitely call them again for their plumbing services.

We are a family dental office and noticed water coming up from underneath our vinyl plank flooring. Realizing that's probably not a good thing, we called Kevin. He was at our office within a couple of hours to take a look, and quickly diagnosed a blocked P-trap coming from our dental vacuum system. Even though the actual issue was out of the scope of his expertise to repair, he rigged a bypass so that we could remain operational and stop any further damage. He also contacted a water restoration service who showed up at our office an hour later. Even after all that, he refused any sort of payment because he didn't really do anything. He kept us operational so we could finish working on patients for the day and got us started on the road to repair. We consider that kind of service priceless, and would not hesitate to use Kevin Bueno plumbing for future plumbing needs.

I went online to find a new plumber, read the reviews, called and was met with a friendly, caring person at Bueno Plumbing, who I knew wanted to help get me the service I needed asap. She even offered to call if there was a cancellation. I was given the first available timeframe and was kept apprised as to the arrival time. Work was explained, handled professionally, quickly and for a very fair price. I will use them again and will be a customer for life.

I requested a plumber on Thumbtack to fix my broken sprinkler valve pipe since it was causing a leak. Kevin arrived on time between the 8-10am window and gave me the estimate. It was surely on the higher side and much more than we expected but since it was an emergency, we decided to go with Kevin on the repair. Kevin did a good job explaining the issue and answering my questions. Because he was able to complete the work quickly including replacing the affected valve, he offered a small discount which I appreciated. Overall, he did a very good job and gave a limited warranty on the work done.

Kevin Bueno helped us fix our broken shower. Kevin was very quick, brought the parts with him, gave us an estimate and was professional. He is knowledgeable and gave us tips about shower maintenance and care. He was also kind enough to answer all of our questions about water filtration system and was not pushy.

Kevin you was very friendly and responsive. He made sure to explain the work that was being performed and to also document and changes to scope of work and the reason for it. His team was excited to discuss the task they were completing or the materials being used. They were made sure to stay in constant communication with myself or the tenants on work being done that day and what to expect in the coming days. We bought a new refrigerator, but when the old refrigerator was disconnected we had an initial leakage problem from disconnected icemaker from old refrigerator and we didn't know what to do. Furthermore the old refrigerator had copper wire for icemaker and we were having trouble getting it connected ourselves. When we called Bueno Plumbing they picked up the call immediately and through phone call was able to talk us through to locate the icemaker valve under the sink and close that so that the water won't be further leaked from disconnected icemaker from previous refrigerator. Then Kevin came over the next day and installed the copper wire for us - super fast! Throughout the process Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable, honest about the quotes and prices, answered all the questions we had about refrigerator plumbing in general, and we have the 1-year guarantee where if the installation / fix didn't work in the next 1 year we would get the subsequent fix for free. Kevin came out within the scheduled window time and did a fantastic job installing a new mixer valve for my bathroom renovation. He walked me through all steps installing the finishing pieces once the tub and surround is done. His friendly demeanor was a plus too.

The thing I like the most is that he said the project would cost X amount, if what he did didn't fix the problem then he would credit that amount for the next step of fixing etc. Since it was a diagnose issue.

Kevin responded to my call for help on a clogged sewage pipe that caused multiple drains to back up in a rental property.
