Clowning Plumbing was fast to response when we had water pipeline leak and sewage leak caused by rodent infestation. They were able to come assess and situation and did the repair quickly.

The reason I don't give 5 stars is because the price was very high without itemized price. Some work quoted on the initial price (to me I thought those were why the job was so expensive) were not performed at all as they were required at all. But the company charged the original price nonetheless.

Another reason is that some of the work had to be redone after city inspection. We never found out why/what from the company and the city.

Anyway, we were happy the repairs were done quickly when needed but not sure about price / quality

Crown quoted $14,532.00 to replace a water heater. Got a 2nd opinion and they fixed the flame sensor, pilot kit, and burning chamber on the spot including parts and labor under $500. And get this, Crown charged $197 for the wrong diagnosis and insisted the whole tank be replaced and upgraded. It cost me $197 to be given a $14k estimate I didn't need.

If I could give Abram and his company more stars I would! I had a gas leak of all the things in my new place I got and dealing with mt home warranty and PG&E, Crown Plumbing helped me so much and quickly. I was supported in dealing with this process with my home warranty and steps needed by them to potentially cover this. Abram was kind, patient and responsive. His company got the work done fast thankfully since I couldn't stay at my home. His team of guys led by Moises were super friendly, communicative and fast but thorough. We had good experience with Crown plumbing two years ago but it is completely different this time! The Crown guy showed up and opened the sheetrock and found the leak right away, but he has to go away for almost an hour to get 3/4 copper pipe. Then he told me the cost of repair is $1800+ so I asked for itemized bill and immediately found I was charged for $297 for removing the sheetrock (which Crown office answered our call stated the open sheetrock fee will be covered by our bill once we agreed with Crown performing the repair. I told the repair guy and he called the office and told me their office had made such an offer. So I told him I will pay the $1800 but this is the last time I will use Crown plumbing because the company has no credibility in my book. The Crown repairman was at the apartment complex from 4PM and he didn’t complete the repair until 9:45pm (because he will not wait for the residual water to drain out of pipe under repair and the solder joints failed 8 times in a row). I asked for a bill but the repair guy said his office will email me. We have not seen the bill but one week later Crown plumbing call and left message that we didn’t paid the bill and email us with the bill then. We called back and paid on the phone.

I called and made my appointment on Sunday and confirmed that they would send a plumber out on Monday. I had called a different plumbing service and they did not come in the time quoted and could not tell me when they could come. Crown plumbing came as promised and the plumber was very courteous and professional. He came in and evaluated the situation and was able to clear out the drain and have the sink completely back in working order in a timely matter. He charged me what had been quoted and because of his efficiency I gave him a well deserved tip. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone asking for a plumbing service. I had a catastrophic galvanized pipe coupling failure in my main water meter box. I called 3 plumbing companies and Crown was the first to respond and arrived approximately 2 hours after my initial call. Luis Perez was the plumber who arrived. He has 14+ years of experience and was truly concerned about getting the job done so that we could have water back on in our home. His first attempt failed, but he thought about it and came up with an alternative solution that worked! He needed to dig further and explained he would have to revise his initial bid by $100 to $646. This was slightly more than half the price of one of the other company’s bids! I highly recommend Crown and especially Luis Perez! Job well done!

This is a job done at my parent's house ( they are almost 90 year old). Mike came out for an initial assessment (fee is $197): he fixed a leak under the bathroom sink and identified a leak from the kitchen faucet. He told us that he will come back to fix the rest after he ordered a new part for the kitchen faucet (probably within the next 2-3 weeks) and that will only take him 20 minutes or so.
The total fee will be $227 minus $197 that my parents already paid him on the initial visit.
Never heard back from him despite many attempts and phone calls from my part during the following 2-3 weeks. The secretary at the office said that all she can do is to leave him a message.
I guess that it is not worth for him to even let us know or to come back to complete the job that he had promise the 90 year old couple because the rest of the fee is only $30 ($227-$197=$30). He already collected the bigger amount!!!!
One day after this review, the owner nicely contacted me and offered to have the job completed at a discounted rate or free of charge.
We do appreciate Crown Plumbing service and the owner's prompt response and offer.

Crown Plumbing and the courteous service tech, Luis P. are receiving high marks from us for their excellent work to expediently resolve a faulty gas valve problem.

Luis was on time as promised by the Crown office representative who took our initial call. Luis was respectful to our home, kept us well informed on the scope of the work, was thorough, and was careful to clean afterwards. The valve is situated behind sheetrock that needed to be removed. Afterwards the sheetrock repair was scheduled for the following work day and Arturo J. arrived precisely on time to complete the sheetrock repair, including a match and blend into the previous texturing. Arturo and his assistant were efficient, clean, and left no mess as though no one had been there.

Crown Plumbing, Luis, and Arturo are not part of a fly-by-night discounted shop. Crown’s rates reflect their business practice of providing excellent service. They guarantee their work, but more importantly, you should not expect to be forever trying to chase down a fly-by-night outfit for call-backs. Crown strives to get it right the first time.

The old cast iron drain plumbing in our 66 year old house failed in a major way with waste leaking out in the crawl space. I made a call to Crown plumbing on a Thursday afternoon and they had a representative come out the next morning to do a thorough inspection and give us a quote. All of the waste piping was in need of replacement ASAP. They rearranged their schedule to get a crew of 7-8 plumbers out on Monday morning and they got all of the old piping removed and enough of it replaced so we had a working toilet, shower and kitchen for that night. They returned early the next day and with the large crew completed the job. They spelled exactly what they were going to do and we ended up with a drain system that not only passed the city inspection, but had several new cleanouts installed should we ever need to snake the lines in the future. The workers were professional, fast, and courteous. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them should any of our friends need work done in the future.

They were one of several quotes that we got for the job and we chose them because of their combination of price, professionalism, and responsiveness, as well as the fact that they do wall repair afterwards. I woke up to my backyard flooding from an exploded water spigot. I found crown plumbing online and they were amazing. They were able to get a plumber out that day to figure out what had happened and get the emergency situation handled. We rescheduled to have the new spigot put in and the plumber was prompt and on time super professional and the job looks amazing. Would absolutely recommend and would absolutely use again.

Our General contractor found a sewer leak, and said he could have some guys out there to fix it and have it done in a month. I called Crown Plumbing, and they arrived at the house with a couple of hours, gave an estimate, coordinated with a clean-up company, and began work _the next day_. Within 3 days the job was pretty much done.

I am _impressed_. They went into an 18-inch crawlspace, dug out a broken sewer pipe, and then trenched the front yard to complete the replacement (after determining that there was way too much build-up in the connecting line). They were fast, prompt, professional, and amazingly attentive. Totally recommend. This company is incredible!

I came home from work recentIy to water in my driveway, coming from my house. I contacted Abram at Crown Plumbing. He let me know he would get someone out. It was about 6pm so we were not sure if it would be that night or the next day. 5 min after hanging up I received a text asking for my address, I replied. Immediately after I replied, I received a text, a tech would be out between 7-9 that evening. At 7pm I received another text letting me know a tech was en route and would arrive in 20 min. That gave us time to straighten up the water damaged laundry room.
The tech arrived ahead of our scheduled appointment time, immediately diagnosed the problem. He was professional, courteous and his equipment was clean and sanitized. He was able to quickly remedy the backed up washing machine drain by running a 50 foot snake and clearing out the sludge that caused the backup. The tech worked efficiently and cleaned up all of the mess and was completed before 830. I would highly recommend Crown Plumbing in any situation for our plumbing needs!

Crown fixed a leaking pipe leading to my kitchen sink. It involved having to cut into a wall to access the leaking section of pipe, cut it out and replacing it. Crown did all the work, including patching the wall and texturing the drywall, in a day. I was only responsible for painting the section of wall that was repaired. No big deal. Otherwise, the work was timely and professional. The tech cleaned everything up before he left and everything was good as new. I can’t really say if the rate I paid was competitive but it seemed reasonable and the important thing is that the work was done quickly and professionally so I was pretty happy with everything.

Crown Plumbing was very quick and responsive when I called and asked for someone to repair a water leak near the main. The water was flooding and I was hoping someone could come out immediately and fix the repair in the same day. Crown Plumbing immediately came over and provided me a few options of possible situations and costs to repair the leak. They dug a few feet and immediately found a cracked plastic elbow pipe. They repaired the piece in the same day and solved the leak issue all at a reasonable price. I am so thankful they were able to quickly identify the problem, solve it in the same day, and provide a reasonable price. I am very happy with their service!

Dominick saved the day. I tried to fix the clogged kitchen sink drain myself with baking soda, vinegar and hot water, but started to pop leaks everywhere. Yes, it was time to call in the experts. Quick and professional response time for inspection/estimate. I felt completely comfortable with Shane’s mannerisms and professionalism. I did not feel pressured or like I was taken for a run for my money. When confirmation was given to go ahead with the work, the team showed up on time, ready to work. Being in a 2 story townhome, not everyone addresses top to bottom leaks/repairs. Shane and his coworker were able to do the job without creating more of a headache for me aftwards. Our water heater started to leak. I found this service from Angie's list. Compared with other vendors, and Crown Plumbing gave better timing, more accurate & honest estimate and better pricing, so I decided to try with Crown. We are very happy with their service and outcome. Appointment time was accurate, and they send us TEXT message when the service guys is on the way. Angelo was very professional, and patience with me during the installation. He also followed up with us by coming back to install additional pressure release pipe next week. Received notice that plumber was arriving early. I had asked that plumber bring a cold water shut-off valve for 1/2 copper pipe. I showed plumber where main water shut-off was and then took him to bathroom where faucet was leaking. Explained about valve for recirculating pump and that cold water shut-off valve would not close completely. He told me is was completely shut and that drip was from water left in pipe after turning it off. He quoted price for repairing leak and said it would be $127 to install the shut-off valve. It appeared to be a fixed rate regardless of what else he was doing. Since it was a 15 minute job or less to do this since other pipes would already be disconnected and he said it wasn't leaking it said no to price. After he fixed the leak, he told me the cold water shut-off would not shut down completely. I guess he didn't think I knew what I was talking about. The charge for a 45 maximum time to repair leak was $227. I won't be calling them again in future.

A great experience with Crown Plumbing. Very responsive, professional, on time and great service. We had several companies come out to investigate a sewer gas smell in our laundry room. After several suggestions to snake the entire home, cause was dry P-traps, smoke testing and the list goes on and on. Sal from Crown came out and after a few minutes noticed the sewer vent line on the side wall behind the washer and dryer did not have a cap installed! I needed my shower faucet/valve to be replaced. Used Angie’s list to find a reputable plumber with previous A rating. Called a few others first(since they were on the top of the list). Sal was great! He arrived early in the 8-10am window scheduled, and was very efficient. He gave me the price up front for approval and went right to work. He was able to replace the hot water valve under the sink, remove the old kitchen faucet and replace it in about an hour.

These guys are great. I've had two interactions with them recently. They're now in my address book for future needs!
1. I put an offer on a house & had them come out for a detailed plumbing inspection. They found that the copper piping was bad and needed to be replaced. They were professional, friendly, and drew up a cost estimate immediately. Upon careful consideration, I decided to withdraw the offer and saved a ton of money as well as a big headache.
2. More recently, they came out to investigate a leak in my kitchen sink. Found the leak quickly and advised how I could fix it myself quickly and pretty easily. Of course, they said that they'd be happy to come out and do it themselves, if I'd prefer. I was impressed with their transparency.

I would recommend this company. We needed a water heater replacement. I called to get pricing. The receptionist was able to give me pricing. I explained that I needed the repair to be done today and she talked with a technician to accommodate us to get the repair done on the same day. Sal was the technician who showed up. Manny sent text close to noon and was parking in front of house like 10 minutes later. He came to door with mask and put on booties as he came in. I described my concern with the toilet leaking as we walked to the bathroom.

We discussed options of replacing whole toilet that was 5yrs old or just wax ring and confirmed price options. He started working and said that the screws were so loose. He said that tightening them could sold the problem. Gave me the option to get new wax ring or test it and see if leaking starts again.

I asked him to sheck the flushing delay and he discovered my flush valve was not working so he replaced it. He flushed out the tank hose which also had to be tightened.

He was pleasant, on time, knowledgable, very thorough, pro active in checking everything and explained what he was doing.

If I have any future plumbing needs I will call crown and ask for Manny again.

I was in need of a new water heater and update of my gas lines in my home from the late 40's. My water heater was 20+ years old and I wanted it moved into my garage. I knew this would be a large job for any plumber. I contacted Crown Plumbing because a family friend recommended the work that Abram did after he had installed a water heater for them months prior.

Abram is timely, I gave him my schedule to work with for an initial estimate, he showed up on time and was polite and quick to walk me through the details of the project, the costs involved and the time that it would take to complete the job. Once I received the estimate I called him and confirmed that I would like for him to do the work. We set the time for the next week to complete the work.

Work was to start at 8am, his team ( due to the large scale of my job) showed up at 7:50am and waited patiently for me to get ready for them. They started promptly and worked throughout the day, there was unforeseen problems which caused them to stay later until 9 o'clock to finish the job, they left that up to my choice though. Abram would have gladly come back the next day to finish the job, but asked if he would like me to have them stay late to finish the work. I said that I wanted the work finished and so he stayed and fixed everything, and even found a small leak under one of my sinks and fixed that in the last hour. Wonderful workmanship, they did a great job and my water heater is amazing and now my gas and water bills are lower due to the upgrades.

I will call Abram again in the future for my plumbing needs as he and his team were courteous and well mannered in the execution of the installation of my new water heater and gas lines. Give Abram a call and he is sure to delight you with his services and his excellent work.

Very respectful, easy to get ahold of, great customer care.
I got several quotes to replace all the sewer lines in our house. They were $1000 over the other quotes , BUT they give a lifetime warranty whereas the other guys gave 3-5 year warranty. Well worth the extra money for that peace of mind. When the city inspector came, he praised their work, even saying ‘beautifully done.’
I’m extremely happy with their work and will be recommending them to anyone needing plumbing work.

Starting with the professional and pleasant Kimberly we were treated with the urgency our situation required. We came home from an early appointment to find our neighbor in the yard, water heavily flowing out of the water meter and down the street. A major leak to be sure. We were able to get the water off at the meter, ( many thanks to our neighbor) called the water company ( who came out in minutes) to diagnose the problem. It was in our yard. 30 minutes later Angelo showed up, and within a few minutes we tackled the problem together. This required shovels, plywood to place the grass and dirt or mud. A 20 year old glue fix had worn out, blew out or aged out so to speak. Angelo worked neatly, had all he required in his truck, and was done with day 1 in short order. We would wait for the fix to set for 24 hours. This morning Angelo tested the fix, filled the hole about half way as the other half had washed out into and down the street, rang the doorbell and we concluded our pleasant business. Crown Plumbing HONORED the 10% Yelp discount. This was substantial to us as we are on fixed income, it matters and we are grateful for it. For an emergency situation, this was a swift, pleasant and competent experience. Very pleased to have our water back on and confidence is high this will last at least another 20 years. Thanks to the pros at Crown Plumbing. good job.
Side note, the people we worked with, Kimberly and Angelo have great personalities, and shared our urgency. This whole problem and fix took 24 hours. We have a very good sense of completion with a good taste in our minds, a win-win. Call them when you have an emergency.

Don't mistake friendliness for great service.

When we were renting, our landlord used these guys and the plumber that came out seemed nice enough. Since we weren't paying, what did it matter?

Boy, is it a different story when you foot the bill.

1. Quoted us over $6k to replace a bit of galvanized pipe and a water heater. We had another company come out and did everything for less than $2k, including an upgraded Rheem water heater.
2. To give you an idea of their prices, $300 to replace a shower cartridge (part is anywhere between $20-50 and takes 15 minutes) and $200 to replace a shower diverter (again, part is $20-50 and is a 5 minute job).
3. When we called them to do some warranty work, they came out and claimed it wasn't covered by the warranty and because they were able to clean out the offending part, they didn't have to charge us. Only $200 for the house call. WHAT?!?

Sure, they send you a text to let you know they're on their way and can use an app to email you a quote, but if you end up getting ripped off in the end, is it all worth it?

Crown Plumbing really has some workers who are top-notch! José, Treno, and Moises were the ones who did most of the work at our house, and they worked hard and always had pleasant attitudes. They replaced all of the sewer pipes under our house and the main line running to the city line by the sidewalk. This was physically-demanding work, but they were persistent and got it done in 4 days. They had other guys come out to dig holes for clean-outs in the yard, replace sheetrock in a bathroom, and pour concrete with aggregate by our porch. All of the additional workers did first-class jobs--we are happy with all the work that was done. Most importantly, our drains run freely now, and should be good for decades to come with all the ABS piping, most of it 4 inches in diameter.
There was some confusion about the total cost of the job--the estimator told me one amount, and the owner told me another amount. They need to put every quote in writing, which they did not do initially despite my requests. Overall, I feel the cost was reasonable, since this was a big job and a lot of work. Also, the offer of 18-month zero-interest financing through a new credit card was a nice way to avoid having to make one large payment, but the downside of this is that there's no way to avoid having them take full payment even before the job is done. That's OK though--they did a great job, and I'm happy with the financing.

Went above and beyond the scope of the job. For a sink on the garage I had them remove they discovered a big hole in the wall behind the sink. I had drywall so they patched the hole. They also Removed a a no longer needed Ballard in the garage as well. It wasn't scoped but Sal went above and beyond. They did a great job of cleaning up a gas line also. For any plumbing needs I highly recommend Crown Plumbing.

Awesome service. I thought the repair was going to be an expensive tear out of vintage bath tile per a previous plumber who told me to just “live with the leak”. Called them for sump pump repair, they wanted 197 to come and take a look. I said okay and they looked at it and quoted 2,600 dollars to fix a small sump pump that is in the floor. They pack 500 percent margin or more for a job as simple as this. I will get it fixed myself. If you would like to throw money, you can sure hire them.

The plumber came with the machine. He only knows how to use the machine. But seems like he doesn't know the structure below. He tried to tell us that the pipe is broken and we need to pay 2000+ to dig in and repair. We found out ourselves that it is a drain tank below with dirt.
