Jose came to the residence in a couple of hours as promised and quickly fixed a cracked drain pipe and replaced the garbage disposal. Jose was on time, communicated everything clearly, and did a quality job fixing our problem. I would highly recommend Discount Plumbing and Jose!

We bought an old duplex with old plumbing and heating in 1997 and have used Powers plumbing since then. They installed new sinks and toilets in both apartments and a water heater in the upstairs unit several years ago. This year(July, Oct. and November) they cleaned out a kitchen drain affecting the two apartments, installed a new water heater for the downstairs apartment and restored our old Coleman wall furnace in the upstairs unit. Powers has always been responsive to our needs, knowledgeable about their work and honest in their dealings with us.

Overall, I am very satisfied with their service. They diagnosed the problem well, gave me a clear and reasonable quote to fix the water leaks in my bath room. When we found a small leak even after the repair, they found the cause for the additional leak, and fixed it at no additional cost to me. They tested the system thoroughly after the repair was done.Steve from Core Plumbing gave me a clear description of the problem and the repair, kept me updated through out the process, and also explained how they stand by their warranty. Core Plumbing has convinced me that they do a high-quality, thorough job, and indeed keep their promise to their customers. I plan to use Core Plumbing (and ask for Steve, in particular) for all my future plumbing needs.

We have a periodic problem with one drain, and have it hydro-jetted every 18 months or so. Our previous plumber who could do this is no longer available, so I did a little search and found Elite Rooter. Great reviews on Yelp. They came out, but instead of getting to the jetting, a Regional Manger came and said due to the age of the cast iron drains they would have to run a camera first, in case there was a problem with the pipe that jetting would make worse.He ran the camera down the roof vent and had me watch on the little black-and-white screen as he showed me what he said was the pipe rusted through at the bottom. It was very hard to understand what I was seeing because there was a lot of gunk in the pipe. He told me the camera was going down into the dirt below the pipe. And because of the pipe being rusted through, they could not do the jetting.He then proceeded to detail expensive options for fixing or bypassing the damaged drain pipe, costing at least 12-14 thousand dollars. And during the discussion of the damage and options the Regional Manager and other workers were in my house showing the route of the pipe and camera using a detector. They were in rooms with professional equipment in them. Fortunately I didn't agree to proceed with the fix, said I'd think about it and discuss with my wife. He did not charge for the camera inspection.Doing my due diligence I contacted another company the next day to inspect the drain. They came out, jetted the drain so that they could actually see the condition of it, and ran a camera through with me watching. There was no rusting through of the drain pipe. And they've sent me the video of the inspection.Here's what I'm faced with. Either the manager was incompetent, which is ludicrous because he's a Regional Manager for the company, or was trying to run a scam on me. I strongly suspect the latter. I was told that the service I requested, jetting the drain, could not be done because it would just cause more damage to an already rusted-through drain pipe. It was clear that he was trying to convince me to spend 12-14 thousand dollars to fix a problem that didn't exist. So, I don't trust this Regional Manager. And I don't trust Elite Rooter. And now I've had someone I don't trust inside my house and noticing my valuables. As a result I no longer feel my home is safe. I've sent them a follow-up email, and let them know that I will be sharing my experience with others.

I had an emergency plumbing issue at our rental home. I called at 8:00 am and they were very responsive and said they would be there around 4:00PM. At 3:00 pm their restoration called my renters to come out and assess the damage. We declined because restoration was not necessary because the leak was caught early. 10 minutes after we turned down the restoration we received a call and said their plumber couldn’t make it out today. We could pay and extra $79 on top of the $150 emergency fee since tomorrow is a holiday. This place is a scam. When they couldn’t get my money or my insurance companies money on the restoration then suddenly their plumbers couldn’t make it out.

Victor was amazing! My fiancé and I got into a project that went wrong fast! We tried to replace a shower handle and the cartridge broke and got stuck! This happened at 8pm on Saturday night. I contacted Victor and he came over quickly and fixed it! He was able to remove the cartridge and hw did not try to upsell me! (Unlike the other 2 plumbers I spoke to) He was honest, nice, friendly and super funny. I would totally recommend him!!
