In the chaos of my water heater blowing up, I called Pink Plumbing to set up an appointment. Days before the appointment, Brandon from Pink called me. By that point, there was extensive water damage. He was prepared to pick up a new water heater and jet over. I explained that my contractor turned up the standard heat setting and it began leaking rusted water. Brandon explained why this happened and the entire process as he exchanged heaters. I was immediately impressed with Brandon’s knowledge and his expertise. I knew I was in competent hands as Brandon is a licensed, bonded master plumber - contrary to my contractor. He calmed my frazzled nerves and handled this fiasco professionally. Brandon was awesome from the beginning to the completion of my emergency. In addition, he provided a reconstruction company to repair the wall damage. I would highly recommend Pink Plumbing because you will be treated with respect, courtesy and a level of professionalism not known to me before in this business.

Once again (I live in a 50+ year old house) I am thrilled at the service I received from this company. In this case, Steve #3 took the time, and had patience with me, as he fixed my toilet tank - and today it works PERFECTLY!

Joe was able to stop by our Carvana office in Arcadia and assess an issue with one of our men's urinals as well as a small leak in our women's bathroom. The next day he and his coworker fixed the problem! Joe was really great to work with and suggested against spending more money looking further into the issue. Called Custom for a diagnosis and estimate of a leak, inside a shower wall, that was softening and bubbling drywall; our insurer denied coverage, as we hadn't met their 14 day "window" to file a claim on it, so we were on our own. Big morale flattener! Pulled up Home Advisor, entered my job order, and Custom was the first response with a 4:30 p. phone call. Office lady said she'd have plumber Keith out in 2 hours to quote the job and, sure enough, Keith rang the doorbell at about 6:30. He asked permission to open the wall up, which I granted; he quickly diagnosed a leaking diverter valve and suggested a new single knob Moen, with an oval trim plate that would cover the dual handle holes in the shower tile. Since he had two more calls that night, he'd call next morning with the quote (but he'd cap off the pipe feeding the diverter leak, before leaving). I asked him to also include replacement of a back yard, heavily-leaking hose bibb, connected to 47 year-old metal galvanized pipe, that I'd tried unsuccessfully to unscrew, but gave up for fear of torquing the fragile old pipe into a twist split, or snapping it. He asked to see it--took one look and said, "I'll fix this right now for you, so you can at least relax, where this water loss is concerned." I asked how much it would add to his quote and my mouth dropped when he said, "NO CHARGE--its a 5-minute fix, with the right tools, so I'm not going to charge you for something this simple." About 5 minutes later, he'd safely installed the new bibb that I'd bought earlier in the day! He then went back inside, sawed off and capped the cold water pipe to the diverter, and, with a cheerful "Call you tomorrow morning" (which he did), left for his next call. Now, while Custom isn't necessarily the cheapest outfit out there, WHO ELSE OFFERS EXTRA SERVICE LIKE THAT, with such empathy for a stressed customer? I sure haven't met them, yet, so you can bet Keith's business card is at the front of my Rolodex's plumbing tab! You'll be in excellent hands, should you dial them up. First-rate service, but more importantly, first-rate people, if they're anything close to Keith!

We have used Wyman a number of times. They installed a whole house shutoff valve, did our annual maintenance on our RO Filter and Water Softener, and checked and drained our Water Heaters. Most recently they changed the anode rod in our hot water heater. They were always on time and provided excellent service. We definitely will use them for all our plumbing needs in the future.

We used to hire this company a lot to clean the drain pipes in our houses - the service was OK, but the price was hard to beat - the $49.99 was painted prominently on their service vans. It was a good value.

In the last little while they raised the price a lot - now on the service van there is a number 1 squeezed between the dollar sign and the 4 - yes, it does say $149.99, although, as I understand it, sometimes they will charge a bit less. With the price gone up 3 times, it is definitely not the value it used to be. But that's not my objection. In my case, they came to clean the slow drain, and then about a month later we had a problem with the same pipe, so we called them again. The warranty is only 14 days, so we had to pay again. This time we chose to inspect it with the camera, only to find out that there is an obstruction in the pipe, which required to dig up about 1.5 feet of dirt and put in a cleanout. We asked the tech for a quote, and he quoted us $1500. We had similar work done on another house, so we had an idea that this repair should cost around a third of that. We asked the tech, and he said he'd give us a "heavily discounted" price of $1350 if we put their advertising sign on our property. We asked for a couple more quotes, and one was $550 and the other was $400 - both by licensed plumbers. My concern is that they saw us as a captive audience - people without a working sewer - and decided to jack up the price. This predatory way of doing business is not what I would expect from a professional I would trust. hence the 2-star rating.
