The technician was thorough and professional while completing the summer/AC preventive maintenance. He identified and replaced a component that was starting to fail. Additionally, he made sure it was covered under warranty, which is was. 👍

I called KB Complete to get a free estimate on fixing a leaky pipe (slow drip) in my yard (the city inspector found it). Though it says Free Estimate in their Google ad, KB Complete said I would have to pay an $89 trip charge to get my free estimate, but I said to come on by.The first guy they sent out didn't find a leak, but he tightened the fitting a little more for $99 (+$89 for the service charge). $188 altogether.The city inspector came back out to inspect the line and said it was leaking worse than before. He said it had to be fixed within 30 days.So I called KB Complete again, and they sent out a different guy to fix the leak. He didn't charge me anything for the second visit, but he didn't fix the leak either. Instead, he called his manager to discuss it, then he told my wife it would cost $4500 for them to excavate the yard(!) and fix the leak.I called KB Complete and asked for clarification. The manager called me back later and said that the law required them to replace the entire water line from the city shutoff valve to the meter. He told me that the law prohibited them from extending, modifying or repairing the water line and that a full replacement was the only way to do it. He stated that they would have to dig up my lawn and two squares of the sidewalk to replace the water line, and then they'd have to refill the hole and replace the two squares of sidewalk. He estimated that the cost would be $4500 and asked if I wanted to schedule it. I told him I'd have to think about it...And then I called the competition, a larger local plumbing company with great reviews. They sent out a plumber who evaluated the job thoroughly, called me with a worst-case estimate (very reasonable, so I immediately approved) and fixed the leak by himself within 90 minutes. He didn't have to dig up anything and performed the work according to code. Calling the competition saved me $4000. The competition did the job right and it took just one visit.Do yourself a favor and call around.FWIW, I put this review off for months to ensure that the city inspector was satisfied and that the leak was truly fixed. I even called the building codes office to verify that everything was done lawfully and according to code, which it was. $188 paid for a hard lesson in trust.

We booked the appointment online on Sunday and the technician was at our home 8:25 Monday morning. AC was back on and house cooling by 10a.m. Now that’s service!

Replaced exterior faucet that was dripping. The technician, Gage Weatherly, was awesome. He showed up same day, was super nice, explained the options, did a great job, and he even cleaned up all the mess.

This was the second time I’ve used R-Mech, and they do an awesome job. We had a badly clogged drain, and the first guy we called out (from another company) glanced at it and immediately told me he’d have to access it from the drain pipe running down into my basement studio. There’s a bunch of stuff that needed to be moved and I’m currently injured, so I was stressed about that. Their prices also seemed a bit high as well, so I thought I’d try R-Mech and see what they said. They were able to send someone out that afternoon, and reassured me that it was unlikely they’d have to go through the basement.The tech arrived promptly, wore his mask properly the WHOLE time (thank you!), looked it all over, did the job (without having to go through the basement!) - even though he warned me partway through that it was pretty bad and they might need to come out with a different machine. He not only persevered and finished the job, but he also gave me excellent advice to avoid further similar issues and potential consequences (we live in an old neighborhood with clay pipes under the foundation and galvanized pipe inside the home). He also took a quick look at a couple other future jobs and said he would send me a quote through email for both of them.All in all, I’ve been very pleased with R-Mech and will likely call them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

I've had Joe out to do several projects, a complete HVAC installation, all new plumbing lines and a new stack for wastewater. He is timely, conscious of budget limitations, friendly, clean and willing to answer questions regarding my projects. I'm looking forward to having him back when it's time to add that bathroom I've been planning.

Jessie has been working on our house for a couple of years now and has done a great job keeping our aging HVAC system running. Fully intend to go through him once our old system kicks it.
