I had a problem with my AC unit malfunctioning due to an electrical issue. It was complicated and Bob Hamilton sent over three different individuals. They were not able to resolve the issue the first day but first thing in the morning the second day they sent what I was told was one of their best service techs. Os Herrera definitely was and had the issue resolved within an hour of being here. He did great work and was extremely knowledgeable and informative in explaining what he did to repair the unit.

Oswaldo was very helpful and knowledgeable about the system. Very professional and polite and offered good maintenance tips.

Great installation experience for our new AC with Rudy L and John. Mark did an electrical inspection and helped us on the fly with a minor issue. We also had a plumbing inspection with Jamie , and he was thorough, professional and timely.

Chris’s presentation was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and stayed in contact throughout the installation. We had just purchased our home and had to replace the water heater, install a new AC unit and furnace, add in a return air vent on the second floor and two new ducts on the first floor. Chris helped us decide which units would best fit the needs of our home and family. All the work was done in a timely manner. He even helped us find financing to pay for the project. 🤩

Nick was our plumber, he was very helpful, courteous, professional and pleasant. He was informative about our issue. He went above and beyond to fix our problem. He left the work zone clean like he was not there. You don't receive service like this anymore. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fast response within 45 minutes of the service call. The service men quickly diagnosed the problem, and corrected it efficiently and cleanly in less than 30 minutes. They were very informative and answered all my questions regarding the repair.

We were schedule for a morning appointment for a routine furnace check. My husband took the morning off work to be here. After 1:00, no one had shown up or called. I called Bob Hamilton to ask if anyone was coming. My husband ended up having to take the entire day off work. Not the quality we expected. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spencer was awesome. Very professional and courteous. He installed a sump pump and did a great job! Explained everything prior to service. Excellent service, both workmanship and in person. Am happy to refer.We had a second call for electrical work on the same day with Jeremy. Again, he was also very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He explained everything thoroughly, as had Spencer prior. Jeremy worked diligently to meet all of the requested work, and he was also very willing to talk over additional and optional work which we had him complete. I truly appreciated him taking the extra time to talk through my options with me. He was awesome! I would recommend him as well to anyone!

Left to right, before and after. Went from a 100 Amp service that was improperly wired with 2 double-tapped lines, which caused my breaker to short until it had an electrical fire, to a properly wired 200AMP service Inside and the city came out and ran a new 200 AMP line. Everything works normally for the first time in over 4 years and I'm thankful.I also posted the bid and how much everything cost me in total.

Always feel very secure and please when Amy is our technician. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything very well. She is the only tech we will use.

Needed a new furnace and was getting estimates from others. Salesman was great, although we did go with another company, I would definitely recommend inviting them to give estimates for your project. I was wowed with the knowledge and the desire for my business. VERY competitive on their bid and the salesman really worked hard to give me the best deal and the correct information. Had mainline cleaned and scoped, both guys were very professional and answered all my questions. A top notch company with great employees!

They tell you they are offering a $99 cleaning and scope just to find out they want to charge you $289 for the cleaning and another $189 for the scope. So I declined the work saying that's false advertising so he then tells me it's also $89 just for them to come out and not do any work. Not happening and not legal. Everything they are doing is illegal from adding undisclosed fees to false advertising.

Jose did a great job! He was very responsive and ensured to answer all my questions and explain in further detail of needed. I will be requesting him for service calls in the future.

The service and availability of the Bob Hamilton staff is something that I have not yet experienced when working with this service industry. They (Jeff and Corky) were friendly and made it out within 24 hours for an inspection on a holiday. Both were very knowledgeable and more than happy to provide in detail responses to any inquiry.Very happy that they were able to make some adjustments to help us meet our price range. Overall it has been an astounding experience. Thank you!

Didnt fix the problem only tried to scare me into purchasing a new furnace. Told me mine was generating carbon monoxide at levels that could be deadly. Upon getting a second opinion it was realized that the furnace was not producing any carbon monoxide beyond normal levels that would be detected by the detectors next to the furnace. Bob Hamilton is only interested in selling new systems. Not providing service to existing systems. Don't call them.

So I had inspection of my plumbing system under the annual contract. Tech was nice and good about the inspection. Asked how much to r/r the hot water tank heating element as it has need to be reset twice in the last year - I have the replacement part. He quoted me off their 'standard' quote list - $529 to replace the part with theirs, and $329 using my part. Uhmmmmm no - that's crazy for something I could do myself in less than an hour.

Dylan came and augured our mainline drain. After clearing the line, Dylan used the camera and discovered additional issues and offered solutions for the continual clogging problem. We appreciate the service, promptness, solutions and professionalism that Dylan delivered.

Have contacted this company 3 times to speak with someone in charge with no result. Customer service associates were very nice but that is not helpful in this situation. This company is quick to rip you off in your time of need and not totally fix your issue or create new issues that they refuse to correct. If you can afford to pay over $500 for one shower handle plus double or triple to fix the issues they cause then by all means give them a call. Have used their services for many years but after this treatment never again!

I got an inaccurate and overpriced assessment of my broken heater and all I got was an $89 service fee-which I would like back.1st issue-They gave me a window from 8-12 Saturday but even by 1pm they still had orders before me and I ended up having to reschedule. Okay, staffing is a challenge and it's a weekend so I can understand.Main issue- When they finally did come I was told my circuit board and a couple of other parts had to be replaced and I was quoted over $2100. They did not even have the part on hand so even if I wanted to proceed I could not. The part they did have was a credit card reader so they could collect my $89 service fee. I am told I will get emailed a breakdown of what is needed so I could gather other quotes as $2k is a large expense for my household--it never came.I ended up hiring another company who was able to fix my heater in about 20 minutes without replacing any circuit board and I was happy to pay $200 for this skill.I'd love my $89 service fee back as I feel like I did not get an actual assessment given that another company seemed to have no problem fixing my heater. I would caution those considering hiring this company to get a second opinion if they tell you to make a major replacement.One note-My technician was a very kind and professional individual. This is a review of the company only.

Dustin was very friendly and professional and made sure everything was done right and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Having an entire heating and cooling system installed is a lot of work and he did a great job.

Working with Paul was exceptional. Took the time to listen, and worked our heating and air problem like the pro he is. Keep this kid!!!Jeff and Dustin did a wonderful job for us. Efficiently finished the new Air Conditioning and Furnace install. Great to work with. We won't hesitate to call when needed.

The technician came out and inspected our equipment. He did not have the right stuff to fix our AC unit and said he would call and return, hopefully the next day.I waited 48 hours and did not receive a call. I called then the company every day for 4 days to check in on the status.Neither the company or the technician ever called me back.It’s now over 2 weeks later and my unit remains unfixed.

Jose and Juan did a great job today! I can't believe what an outstanding clean-up job they did after a very messy job! Very polite, very professional, very hard working gentlemen. Bob Hamilton is very lucky to have them working for his business!

We had two different professionals out on the same day - Derek for our AC and Kyle for our plumbing. Derek was extremely helpful, kind, and patient in answering all of my questions. He made suggestions and gave me tips on things to look out for but didn't try to convince me I needed unnecessary services just to add additional fees. I appreciated the honesty and information provided. Kyle was so great - he answered all of my questions and was able to explain things in depth that I was unfamiliar with - you can tell he genuinely enjoys his work and educating customers as best as he can. He at one point even asked if I had any other house questions, even if they weren't plumbing related. We had a few projects we wanted completed and he helped me prioritize them by need vs want when it came to budgeting and explained the timeline of certain events. All this to say, he was so great to work with - he and Derek both were - and if we have anything pop up in the future, we'd definitely request these gentlemen again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible service we received. We have been without running water and clogged drains for over a week over a simple clog that the tech did not want to even try to find. They had a guy come out, he did not auger, did not use a camera, did NOTHING but say the task was impossible or very expensive (correction he flushed our toilet making it come very close to over flowing). And then proceeded to try to charge us for him coming out when I was told over the phone that there would be no charge unless work was done, and then he proceeded to get rude when I told him there was no work done, so there should be no charge. He said yes there is it is a dispatch fee for me to just come here. I told him no, pull my phone recording i was told of no fees. He did so in his van where I could not hear as well. Came out trying to come up with excuses still trying to charge us. The guy took one look at our old house and said it would be a multi thousand dollar job. Said I've been doing this for 5 years I know well buddy, obviously you didn't as we had another plumbing company come out and within not even an hour our drains were cleared. And everything is back up and running for under $300! If anyone asks me for a plumbing company reference the first thing that will always come out of my mouth will be stay far away from Bob Hamilton

Had a scheduled appointment from 8-12. Called at noon. Scheduler said the technician had not ever been notified of the appointment and they would like to reschedule. Waste of time.

First thing he said after looking at just the furnace was Your system is over 26 years old I don't like what I am seeing Then he started showing pictures from his phone. Every time anyone comes to your house from Bob Hamilton they never say anything good about what they came out for. It's always your system needs replaced. I was under the idea he was suppose to look at the a/c too but that didn't happen. That's the reason for 3 stars.

This company goes above and beyond! The employees have been professional and down to earth. We homeschool so my oldest is very interested in any kind of engineering or science. The men at Bob Hamilton were willing to take the time to not only talk to my son like an adult but actually spend time teaching him how things work. One employee named Landon even took time to draw diagrams of how things worked so we understood what was going on. This company is exceptional. Their prices are a little high, but it is worth it for people who really know what they are doing and care about their customers.

Highly DO NOT recommend. Had them out to come look at my AC that wasn’t cooling. They were going to charge $500 to put a hard start on my ac that cost $50 and it took the guy 10 minutes (literally) to put it on. They then told me I needed Freon and were charging RIDICULOUS prices for Freon. Call another company and I don’t even need a hard start and put Freon on for literally 1/4 price. Don’t let the big company name fool you, they’re out to get you and your money!

A suicidal mouse decided to use our AC unit as its life altering device, and in doing so shorted out the system. With 100 degree days coming up, JT from Bob Hamilton was able to come out right away and get it running properly in no time.

He was patient enough to allow myself and my family the time to talk through our options, and understanding with our choices.

Technician came out to clear garage drain. After vacuuming and snaking the line he said he was done. I told him it was draining too slow. He said that was normal. He charged me $145.00 for basically doing nothing.Later that afternoon another technician showed up and put a camera down the drain. Said the lines had build on them and needed to be replaced. I asked if he could try snaking the line and he said the high volume pressure of the snake would likely destroy the line.Bob Hamilton quoted me $24,000 to put in new lines.The next day I had another company come out and snake the line. For $110.00 my line is clear. Saved me $24 grand!I had a lot of respect for Bob Hamilton until now. I'm disappointed that Bob Hamilton didn't try to fix my problem with the least expensive option. I really hope this is an isolated occurrence and not your business model.I'll never use Bob Hamilton again.

Used them to check our main drain. Aidan and Brian identified the issue with the drain to our septic. Desmond and DJ arrived the next morning to replace the line. We also have a pump tank which requires 2 buried cables that ran along the main drain to the septic. They didn't damage those lines - saving me $$. They worked around my wooden fence and my gutter drains.

I was called on the day of service that he would be coming. I was called again and told he was on his way and would be at my house in 30 minutes. I called 10 minutes later and said he could park in my driveway and the garage door would be open so he could come right in. When he arrived he knocked on the door. He did the servicing of the A/C system and used my hose to clean the outside unit. When he was done we talked a bit about what he found, and he explained that as a member of the monthly service charge there would be no charge for the service call, and left. I have no photos to upload--how do I get out of this and still leave my review? OHHHH--I forgot to click on the star!!!

We could not have asked for two better service personnel. The head person was very knowledgeable in both gas and electrical water heaters. He had the same form of heater in his home. He answered all questions. The best thing was that from the time I went to Lowe’s until it was installed and working, it was about 6 hours. Thank you!

Bob Hamilton sent Derek A. out to service my furnace for winter. Derek explained all what he was doing and got it clean and ready to roll. He noticed my AC looking dirty on his way to the truck and asked if I’d like him to check it out and make recommendations. I did and it was pretty dirty and Derek asked if I’d like him to service it while he was here. I went ahead and killed two birds with one stone. I appreciate Derek taking the time to even stop and glance and check my ac for me being that it wasn’t really part of why he came out. Great job and great service. Five stars for Derek and his customer service skills.

He was late unfriendly and didn't bring over a hundred foot like I asked and my drain is still clauged up and would not do my free camera scope like I was promised just made an assumption and charged me 100 dollars

I marked no because altho they did send a tech out, once I saw the bait and switch, I changed my mind. My water heater had quit working. I got on Lowe’s website and they have a chat feature where you can ask about install costs. I asked what it would be to install a new hot water heater and was told a basic installation was $325. Depending on the complexity of the case, it could be more. So I asked for a tech to come take a look. Lowe’s contracts w Bob Hamilton, apparently because that’s who came out. When he got here, he had a laminated sheet w costs and the cheapest was $2500. There was no $325, but could be more if it was a complicated job or anything like that. I obviously sent them packing and found someone else to do the install - a local guy, who was much much cheaper and did a fabulous job. This was a total bait and switch and I don’t know who is in whose back pocket but this type of behavior is worthy of a BBB complaint, for both Bob Hamilton, and Lowe’s. I will be contacting the BBB on both of them. Not only was this shady business practice, but I also wasted a whole morning dealing with it. :(

A little expensive (which is expected in same-day situations), but the technician was thorough and knowledgeable. Appreciated that he was available much sooner than expected, and he addressed all my concerns. Would definitely call them with confidence in the future!

The technician named angel was very knowledgeable and had my system working within 5 minutes of his arrival. He didn't check the whole system to make sure that it was operating and functioning as it should which I'll check that OK. I would definitely recommend bob hamilton for any a c and heating needs me.

I was replacing a vanity in my basement bathroom and needed the drain outlet moved to fit my new vanity. Alex arrived and quickly assessed the situation and explained what he had to to do and explained what he had to do. After he moved the drain, he showed me what he did and how to adjust the drain if it was needed in the future. Alex was very professional, patient and efficient with my situation.

Had them come out to see why the AC was not working. Right off the bat the Technician said there would be no warranty on anything since I took the door to the furnace off to inspect any issues. I didn't expect anything to be under warranty, so I found it weird he said that. He said it was the blower and would cost $2150 to repair. I thought that was really high so I called around. Guardian HVAC out of Springhill came out and they quoted me $700 for the same work. When Guardian came out he found that it was more than just the blower. It also needed a new control board. Both of those items replaced was still less than Bob Hamilton. Only spent $1200. Bob Hamilton mis diagnosed and over charges. I would not recommend them at all. Was a waste of $89 to have them come out.

Eric was upfront and honest! He took time to explain everything so I could understand what is needed and pointed out issues that we hadn’t noticed before!

Carlos was informative and thorough in his check of my heat pump HVAC system. I like to accompany trades people as they inspect because I find I can learn a great deal about the function and maintenance of our homes' systems. I was also looking for a membership plan and due to his personable demeanor and succinct information about the heat pump and it's operation expectations, I chose this company for my plumbing and heating maintenance needs!

I’ve used Bob Hamilton for years and always thought the service was decent. However, during our annual AC system service yesterday, the tech went above and beyond! Oswaldo Herrera performed the check that we have had done by Bob Hamilton over the past two years of living in the house. The difference with Oswaldo was the thoroughness in his approach. He found a crushed up HVAC filter in the unit that had been blocking airflow since before we moved in. I know for a fact it has been that time, if not longer, because the filter was a brand the previous owner used. Oswaldo noticed the pressure reading was slightly off and went above and beyond in his inspection to find the filter causing it. I’m going to ask for Oswaldo moving forward every time we need our HVAC serviced. He’s the best in the business!

We had a plumbing backup and Drew quickly fixed the problem and cleaned up after himself. He was friendly quick and efficient.

Taylor was so friendly and knowledgeable, he helped us figure out our electrical issues and fixed it within minutes. He is also going out of his way for tomorrow to install our smoke detectors. I highly recommend this business for all your needs.

Way overpriced. My tech didn't even seem interested in fixing anything. He kept referring to his friend that could fix it cheaper. Because the company name and price it's outrageous. Why even send someone out if your just going to charge a ungodly amount of money to do the work . Im not bashing the guys name or company it was just odd.

I was hesitant to call this company because I thought they would be too expensive. They got back with me the next day and had a plumber out to the house the same morning. We are in a rural area in an 1875 farmhouse and it's usually difficult to find reliable services.Sam The Plumber with Bob Hamilton Plumbing, Heating, AC, Rooter & Electrical was well-equipped, very fast & neat and gave good explanations of his work. Getting a plumber out here is like pulling teeth. Professional and accommodating, they are very much worth paying a bit more and I highly recommended them.Home Advisor and/or Angi's whatever just gathers you as a contact, trades or sells it, and there are still clowns calling me long after Sam was finished.

Not able to give a estimate before coming out and then gave me a base price of $279 for a branch line. I work in service and our office can give a customer a minimum or base price of what a the service will cost plus parts if needed.

Called to have them fix a leaking tank bolt and they charged me 600 dollars????? Could have gotten a whole new toilet for that price elsewhere and I feel like they just upcharged me because he could tell I am young and don’t know what the price should have been. Thanks for ripping me off and charging me 600 dollars when you were here for less than 30 minutes and only replaced the bolts to my toilet tank. Absolutely disgracefulEdit- as I cannot take back my 1 star review originally I will be changing to 3 stars. Their management reached out after speaking to my mom and fully refunded me for this service. I greatly appreciate how they have handled this so swiftly, but unfortunately I will still not be calling them for future plumbing as I feel they can’t be trusted. Service tech was professional and knowledgeable. Only reason I took a star off is bc I made an appt the day before, but nobody ever came. I called the next day to see what happened and was told my appointment got canceled, mysteriously. I'm sure it was a random occurrence, as I have used BH several times in the past and never had any issues. They had someone out a couple hours later and also agreed to waive the $79 service fee. I'll continue using their service.

50/50… so 90$ Is just to get them to your door. They won’t diagnose anything for that price. It’s an additional 125$ For that, so roughly 220$ for the plumbing side to even look at your problem and tell you what’s wrong. Luckily my issue was so minor the guy fixed it while looking at one of my lines to my sink. Just seemed a bit excessive on price…Then the HVAC side. I scheduled this for the same day as the plumbing appointment. Just for an HVAC annual tune up. They called me around 12:45pm for my 1pm(afternoon) time frame appointment to say a tech was finishing up and would be on his way. I figured OK! I’ll wait on them. It’s now 5:45pm. No call or contact from them since. I had to call them myself to check if anyone was actually coming today and the lady said “oh yes, he’s on his way he will be right over” within about 5 minutes of my call I got a notification they were coming. I’ve been sitting at my house for 5 hours on my one day off waiting around for them to show and I feel like I got completely forgotten about.I can say after both meetings both employees were very friendly, very informative, good personality, seemed knowledgeable.

OS is wonderful and very professional. He took his time inspecting our furnace and left us with great understanding about the overall Ac unit.

Horrible company. Had sewer lines replaced. They dented my siding. Broke a fence, broke a gate, and did not come back to grade after the dirt settled. They also cut two trees down but left the stumps and did not tell me. They could have easily pulled them up with the equipment they had. They dug the sewer up and then told me they could not locate the drain so they filled it back in. Then sent another crew out to dig it up all over again. I talked to them but they had the money so they ignored me. Do not use them!!!

In my experience by using theirservice was unpleasant. They ran camera to my sewer line and told us the main line is completely collapsed and need to replace it immediately. And they told me that will cost me $3,500.I looked for 2nd opinion, another company ran a camera through my sewer line, but didn't find any collapse. I am deeply disappointed. Btw, it occurred a few years ago and my sewer works fine!I recommend any one is told to replace main sewer by this company, get a 2nd opinion.

I called them because I had an emergency, they said that they don't normally service my area, but I would have to pay an out of service fee, I said that is fine, tell me the cost. The lady at the front desk said that she would call me back, I waited AN HOUR! No call back. I finally called them back to see when I was on the schedule or what was going on, the man that answered this time, said that he wasn't aware of this conversation, and I told him that I need an appointment, I have an emergency. He came back and said that they don't service my area, even through the lady earlier said that they would if I paid, which is fine, I'll pay. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I got a confirmation call about my appointment. They verified that my service tech would show up around 5:30. I waiting until 6 before calling figuring he was running late. Once I called, they said the job has been labeled as completed. The lady on the phone, who I will say was super helpful and extremely polite, checked in and saw that he went to the wrong address. He never called to check to see if he was at the right place, even tho he was one street over. I confirmed that they had the correct phone number and they did. When I asked if he was still coming over, I was informed that he had already gone home. She checked to see if there were any service techs in the area, and they were all gone at that time.I've been in in-home sales for a decade now, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. Terrible service, minus the person I talked to on the phone. I will be calling someone who wants to replace my water heater. I suggest you go somewhere else too.

AC unit quit working on Friday night. They were here Saturday morning to check the system and get it up and running again. MThey gave me a list of items that may cause problems in the future with no pressure to fix now. They explained my options and let me decide the path forward. I highly recommend for anyone having AC problems.Rudy L and Tyler came out on 6/17 to remove and install the new one. They were great! They were able to show up early as requested and the install went very smooth. They predicted it to be about a 4.5 hour job and were done ahead of schedule. They made sure everything worked as expected and answered all questions my wife and I had. I can honestly say I have had a great experience from start to finish.

I needed both plumbing and electrical assistance and after hearing a radio ad (which I've heard many times before), decided to give BHP a try. I'm glad that I did! I was scheduled for both technicians on a Sunday (!!) just a couple days after my call, and both arrived promptly with excellent advance notice and confirmation. Both were very professional and helpful. The prices are admittedly on the high side, but as they say you get what you pay for and I believe it's well worth their charges for the expertise, efficiency, and, most importantly, superb customer service.

I reported the Freon line had been frozen. The first thing they did, NOT read their notes, and bc they can’t work a switch, was said the thermostat was bad, jumped the wires, until it was said again the line had been froze, then they found out the thermostat wasn’t bad.. after a failed attempt to sell a $500 stat.. Then to top it off, 2 ‘techs’ have to ask each other what the numbers on the ac mean.. are you kidding me?! Get out of my house glorified sales people. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT USE BOB HAMILTON

I had both of my toilets and showers leaking into a crawl space. All of my plumbing was original to the house from the 1960's - LOTS of cast iron. The plumbing was also all going uphill. Scott Johnson at Bob Hamilton replaced all of the cast iron with PVC, fixed all of the leaks, corrected the grading downhill, stabilized the pipes, and provided a warranty. He was professional, personable, and did an overall great job. I would recommend Scott to anyone who needs a great plumber.

I paid for an AC Maintenance but she really went deep to make sure the heating side was working as well as the cooling side. She took time to explain to me what was wrong with the unit, what was an immediate fix and what could wait. I felt like she did a fantastic job the whole way through. I was totally blown away by her professionalism. I will be calling her again when I'm ready to get a quote to replace the unit.

This is our second time using BH for our sewer repair. The first time, the replaced the sewer going from the house to the main, and this time they replaced all of our cast iron sewer pipes under our concrete floor. We originally called them due to issues with our drain backing up, and Jared came to cam it and see what the problem was. Much to our dismay, our sewer pipes were collapsing and we needed it fixed ASAP. Jared got us set up for next day replacement, and Desmond and JD were there the next day ready to go! They did an awesome job getting the pipes replaced quickly and gave us a better layout for our drain and pipes! They cleaned up all the mess, communicated well with us, and worked hard the whole time. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

The technician identified the problem with our electrical circuit really fast and had a correction in place within an hour. He was friendly, personable and explained the problem to us in terms that made sense. He offered multiple choices for resolution and advised on the most appropriate option that he would take in his own home. Based on the experience with this technician alone I would definitely call them for service again if we need additional electrical work.

Drake was professional and great at explaining details of the problem. Drake was fantastic and we requested him for our semi annual checkups.

Our plumber, Chris, came out on a Sunday, found the problem quickly and a way for us to get it fixed affordable.

Quoted $99 but charged $279. Jamie was very good but had I been given correct quote would have saved $100 with another company.

I contacted this company to come out and snake a main drain line. The plumber did just enough to leave for the day because the very next day, the line was backed up once again. They did send a plumber back out but obviously he didn't resolve the issue because now here it is two weeks later and my main drain line is backed up again. I will Never use this company again.

We have had another business out twice to help locate and fix the leak under our sink. Jonathon located it quickly and was able to tell us what it would take to repair it, was the cost would be and what the warranties included. He had everything he needed on the truck and quickly completed the task. We are very happy.

Elderly father-in-law was taken advantage of. I contacted management and was told they would reach out and rectify the situation. This did not happen. 2 hours of work and $200 materials. He was charged $1300. Do not use this company for your own sake. My opinion is they lied and cheated.

Cole performed my spring system maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. He was quick and efficient, responsive and friendly. He also had already checked things that I usually have to ask the technician to do. I was really pleased. Also, since this was part of a year-long service agreement, the cost was very low. I wasn't given a time for the appointment, but I was allowed to request a preference and the office kept in close contact to let me know when the technician would arrive. It worked out fine. I was very impressed when I was told the technician could come to my house the next day! That's fast! This was a great experience. UPDATE OCT 2022: Inspection and service seemed to go okay. However, the technician did not have the air filters they are supposed to provide and she did not gave the water filter or UV bulb that she said needed to be replaced. I told her I had air filters. She said they were too dense and I would need to replace them in three months. If I don't, then my system will overheat and shut down. I was skeptical of this and she told me just don't be disappointed when that happens. (That hasn't happened with the furnaces I've had in this house over the past 22 years, so I remain skeptical.) So while the service itself may have gone well, my confidence in Bob Hamilton is shaken and I don't know if I want to have them do my spring HVAC maintenance.

We just purchased the house, was told that two showers needed valves replaced but no worries it’s not a terribly expensive fix. We were first quoted 1600 which is way more expensive than the national average. We were then told that the for only one of the showers during depressurization and deactivation. The weld line failed and the new cost would be 3300 dollars. The parts to replace are not incredibly expensive, the time to fix was not ridiculous . The cost surpasses that of plumbers in New York so one could only surmise that Bob Hamilton is Way overpriced! The technicians were lovely and helpful though but for the cost we could had a brand new shower placed by home depots professionals.

Sewage is backing up from the drain in my basement. I called when I noticed it on Saturday and was told someone would be out Sunday. I then received a call Sunday morning that they were completely overbooked and would not be able to make it out Sunday. I was rescheduled for Monday. Monday morning I called twice to ensure that someone would be out. I was reassured twice by 2 different people that a technician would be out that day. I then received a call at noon that a technician would be headed my way in about 45 minutes. They then called right back to tell me I'm out of their service area!! This was the 5th person in 3 days that I've spoken with at Bob Hamilton. Now I'm out a half a day and scrambling to find someone else who can come out today so my children can actually take a bath tonight!!

Kyle initially arrived to just replace a huge plug for a new stove we purchased but the plug had pretty much melted. Kyle inspected our fuse box and determined it had been recalled due to fire hazard. This explained the numerous plugs in our house that had recently stopped working. Although we were not expecting a repair like replacing our fuse box, we are very thankful that he discovered the issue. This could have resulted in a fire and possibly losing our house and belongings. He worked fast and efficiently, and we could not be happier with the results, I would highly recommend this company and Kyle to anyone that asks

Ryan the tech was cordial however he was not able to hose off the AC fins which was why I choose Bob Hamilton to perform the maintenance at the special 69$ price. Turns out that particular important part of routine maintenance was not included but would cost 360$ additional cost. SinceThis was part of every other routine maintenance I have ever had performed, I was taken by surprise when he informed me about this. Very disappointed.

I had an issue with my heater that the company did fix, however, the repair person also told me that my furnace motor was horrible and would not last me through winter. He told me that I needed to pay $1200 immediately in order to fix it. This didn't seem right to me because of the cost, and also because he didn't even take the motor out to look at it. I called an individual repair person who said that a new motor plus install was only $350. Then, that repair person took apart my whole furnace only to find that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the motor. He only charged me $100 and cleaned all of the parts. I'm extremely angry that someone tried to take advantage of me like this and would not recommend using this company for anything.

Called Bob Hamilton and they got a technician Jonathan by noon. When making appt was told about 89.00 trip charge that would be credited toward any work completed and had a 50.00 off coupon. Jonathan tried to charge us the 89.00 and didn't mention coupon either. Then he said he couldn't give us both. So he did credit the bill 89.00. I thought the price charged was very high for the service he provided. Not sure if my leak is fixed yet. Would not recommend this company.

I called yesterday (5/10) morning asking for a service call for an AC unit running 100% duty cycle w a setting of 77 degrees. Was told we are very busy, how about tomorrow. Said fine, was patient and nice, now today, 5/11 I get a phone call at about 1200 saying service tech would be there late. About 400 I get a call and they canceled. I called the office and asked for the service manager, Austin, he'd left for the day. Pretty surprising that a service manger of a busy company would leave/be unavailable to solve problems...I do not recommend this company nor will I use them in the future. AVOID!

Tyler K was my tech on this visit. He was very patient man. He explained everything to me on a level that I could understand. He told me about their awesome service plan that they have. Like in The Godfather movies, he made me an offer that I couldn't refuse. He also made it crystal clear that he was there to help me. He even stated how grateful he was to do it. He made me feel like a customer should feel. I wish that more people had the customer service skills that he posseses.

Sam came out and did a plumbing inspection as part of their annual maintenance contract. He was professional, well spoken, and reasonable. He inspected all the visual plumbing and gave several suggestions on things that could be improved. I asked for several quotes on items that were “annoyances” which he provided. While the quotes were more than I was willing to pay at this time, he offered some helpful suggestions when I was ready to do them.

Jeff was very friendly! I wasn’t able to be at my property but that did not stop him from doing his job. I lost a ring in the toilet. Called Bob Hamilton and they arrived promptly. The woman who took my call was very helpful. However, by the time Scott and his coworker left, I was extremely disappointed. Scott spent twenty minutes explaining my options…during the first five minutes, I told him what I wanted done but he kept repeatedly everything…taking up time. His coworker spent less than two minutes shop vacuuming the toilet while Scott spent about seven minutes downstairs removing one pipe. After they were done, Scott went onto explain everything again for another ten minutes. The total $185.50 with a discount of $30 included…absolutely ridiculous! Never again will I call them.It’s March, 2023. I’m not sure why this company continues to call once a month and never leave a message. Do they want me to change my review? Probably. I asked for a lower bill in the beginning and was told no. Please stop calling without leaving a voicemail.

We had a new HVAC system installed. The technicians didn't have the right duct work on hand for the humidifier and told us to schedule it in the fall. He said he would let his people know about it. However he didn't inform them. The technicians also didn't know about a CO detector that was supposed to be installed. I was charged twice on top of everything. I used the contact form and texting service offered on the website to resolve the issues, but I never got a response. I called the next day and was disconnected several times because they had a new phone system. They corrected the double charge and the remaining work was scheduled for the next day. The entire experience was frustrating. I appreciate the response in getting the issues resolved, but I won't be coming back as a customer.

We had issues with clogged kitchen sink. Scott immediately pointed out a plumbing issue with the reno install we had done several years ago. It wasn’t cheap but they did the job right and we are excited to have kitchen sinks/disposal and dishwasher that drain correctly.

I cannot believe that using a service was actually cheaper than doing it myself but it absolutely was. The technicians went way above and beyond to open a pipe that was essentially impossible for me to have accessed, and the total fee was still the same. I'm not even done with the service. They also scope the drain afterward for no extra charge, and even without that I'd have paid 3x as much for a plumber to come do the exact same thing. I can't thank them enough.

I have a sewer smell coming from my plumbing. I called Bob Hamilton they were able to come out same day in quite a hurry actually at $89 service fee which they pulled my toilet, put a wax ring and a rubber coupler back in charged me $325 did not rectify My problem didn’t even do a soft tissue check And now to come back out to do that for another cost because it’s a different issue and they told me they gave me a 50% discount when they charged me $325 so that would’ve made that a $650 job which in my opinion is so not worth a plumber being there for what little time they were there. Things are expensive but boy a little over the top if you ask me and when I called Bob Hamilton and they told me they are a high end professional company and I disagree. Don’t waste your money folks.

My AC system was not effectively cooling my home. I made an appointment on Saturday and received service the next day (on a Sunday), which is almost near impossible now these days. My technician's name was Landon and I thought he was amazing, knowledgeable, and super professional. More importantly, Landon was honest and up-front. Technician Drake Faunce came on time and clean. After doing his assessment he explained his finding thoroughly and recommended for surge protector for the outside unit . I appreciate the knowledge and professionalism of the technician and will recommend him to others for his services.

We have a relatively new HVAC system (installed 12/2018). One of the rooms in the house has not been cooling off like the other area of the house so we contacted Bob Hamilton to come do a AC tuneup ($79 special). The technician came and identified that the blower motor housing and condenser are dirty and might impact the efficiency. However the technician refuse to do further diagnosis before these two items are cleaned. The cleaning was considered as “repair work” and the charge was $440 for the blower and $265 for the condenser. Cleaning these items are not repair work but maintenance and should be part of the system tuneup. Charge this kind of fees for these are a total ripoff to customers. I will no longer use them.—————— reply to response below from Bob Hamilton:Actually I planned to sign up for the $119 service agreement after before the service technician started the work but it turned out cleaning the motor and condenser coil was considered “repair” work and not part of the service agreement so I ended up canceling the plan and just paid the $79 tuneup fee. Even I signed up I only get 15% off of the cleaning fees but if the maintenance work such as cleaning is considered “repair” not included in the SA there is not much value to the customers.

So I have never posted a negative review on google before in my life. This is my first time. Judge contents for yourself. Good luck with your plumbing issues.I called Bob Hamilton with a drain pipe sink leak and a corroded pipe section above my washer/dryer. They came and were reasonable within timeframes. They offered multiple all-inclusive offers for projects I asked for them to address. My mistake was that I was distracted on conference calls during interactions. I trusted the representatives to take care of this issue without much oversight. I signed for the cheap version of what they offered and let them have at it while doing my job from home during Covid. Plumber was friendly and pleasant.All repairs for both issues were completed in 2 hours. The sink had an issue with decreased water flow. The plumber made me aware that calcium can move when water is turned on and off causing this new issue. He recommended I consider getting a new kitchen sink faucet. It didn’t sit right with me that I had a new issue that was unresolved after paying a large sum of money. I called in and they came back the next day and replaced the faucet for free. This was nice and appreciated.In the end I ended up paying $2,344.62 for this. The invoice/receipt was sent to my email (pictured). On the second day when the guy came back I asked about what a drain repair level 4 means. Is a drain repair level 1-3 something simpler than an exposed kitchen sink drain pipe? Why do I not have an itemized receipt? He told me that this is how Bob’s does it. At no point was the new company of ARS referred to. They seem to be working off of the brand name they purchased. At no point was I given the opportunity to discuss any of my issues with a manager that could help resolve the problem. The plumber called in and had discussions and made decisions on opportunities without involving me.So yeah... $2,344.62 for a kitchen sink drain and a 10 inch section of water line. My friends told me I over paid by at least $1000. Guy made more than $1000 an hour...Truth of the matter is if this was priced fairly and transparently via itemization I wouldn’t be here now. But here we are. It is my mistake lesson learned. Don't be rushed when making decisions like this. Don't trust anyone.At the end of this process I was approached by the company to make the situation right they refunded me $1000.00 for this job. Still expensive but I really appreciate them making it right in the end. They push for high customer satisfaction and that is a good thing.

Scheduled an appointment before they opened. Was told no service fee since I’m under warranty. Tech arrives and tells me it’s $89 dollars calls his boss and tells me it’s still $89. Then says yes going to call his boss again and just leaves the job. It’s 82 in my house you had no problem taking my $4,000 for the a/c install. I called the office and was told another tech would be out shortly. Waited two hours before calling the office again and was told they wouldn’t come back out till tomorrow. Sorry but I had to already take work off for this today. You made the error. Poor service.

I called and compared prices and researched online cost, value, professionalism, kindness, and thorough with a million questions, plus the results of my research that took me about 2 weeks. Don't get me wrong there are many good HVAC, AC, PLUMBER, and ELECTRIC service shops but how many stick by their word? How many offer a full spectrum maintenance, efficiency and quality? How many are honest enough to say no or that Brand or unit is not fit for you? From one month of negotiating and interrogating these guys with plumbing, electric, and AC. They have proven thus far to be a company of integrity. John Hamilton reflects this in both his workmanship and character from what I have experienced. I thank GOD there are people that still believe in honesty and truth. These qualities are one of the many reasons why I went with BH.THANK YOUkj

SEE UPDATE! I have an account with this business and have used them in the past but never again. They have a current promotion for a free camera inspection with a main line cleaning for $99.00. I asked to have my line inspected to determine a possible collapse. For only the camera portion, I was quoted $189.00. There were no cleaning techs available to be able to get the special. Does it seem ethical to charge me more to do half the work because they have no personnel? All I needed was the camera portion. They still wanted to charge the regular price because they could not clean the line. I'm retired military. So much for supporting the troops.UPDATE: Monday morning, the general manager called me to offer a no-charge camera and location service to remedy my issue. He was concerned that my initial review was harsh. His Sunday minimal staffing and my situation with no sewer, both contributed to my frustration. For the professional approach to serve the customer I have changed the number of stars on this review to the max. The GM has scheduled a no-cost service when they did not have to. In my opinion, that can't be beat given the circumstances. While not perfect, Customer Service is what makes for repeat customers. This is the first step in what I fear will be a long and expensive process,

Technician was professional and helpful with the concerns I had on my A/C unit not working very well this last couple of days. The A/C unit had froze up and not cooling properly, however started working properly while technician was at property. The cause was between airflow and drainage. Technician made some suggestions to try and see if still have some problems over the next week to call back.

Matt was professional. He offered great customer service and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and said that education was part of his job. He was thorough. He remained at my house to ensure things were working properly. He suggested some additional work that may need to be done down the road, but was not pushy or trying to make a sale. Actually they were fast to come and estimate the job. But we are trying to sell the house needed the furnace replaced. Price was great. But I explained to them before they came out. We had to pay at closing in 2 weeks. All the other estimates were about the same. Bob Hamilton won't do work and get payed on closing. So why come out and wSte my time and theirs.

Dale Goin was very friendly and professional. He came in and did his check up and was informative about what he did and that it was good to go for the season.

Jose and Juan excavated for a new sewer line, put in a new one, filled in the hole with gravel and dirt and poured new concrete for the porch that replaced the old. Tim Goldsmith, the supervisor, was very helpful throughout this process. Thank you!

5 stars because I am very satisfied with Bob Hamilton service at all levels: dispatchers, technicians, comfort consultants and installers.My furnace stopped working in a 16F day. The lady on the phone was very polite. The technician Jeff provided excellent service, warned the furnace had hazardous condition and not safe to operate. He checked the CO levels to ensure there is no poisoning and recommended replacing the entire 18-year-old unit. We didn’t doubt him because there was smoke/metal smell when the furnace was on.The comfort specialist Danny arrived very quickly the same night. He showed us different options for replacing, explained pros and cons of different products and did not pressure us to buy. I made research and the price they gave us was very fair and reasonable for the product we choose. They are not cheap, but their systems are high quality.The installation was the next morning. Drew and Turner arrived on time despite the snow/ice outside. They were very professional and considerate for not making mess while working. Finished on time, and we had our heat back in the afternoon. Drew and Turner made sure to explain how the new system and thermostat work too.I am not able to give rating for the furnace and AC since they are still new but the service and entire coordination of the company were excellent.

We had an emergency line issue and Bob Hamilton was out within the hour to help us figure out what was happening. We had a handful of different technicians come and assist and each one that I met was kind, polite and professional. Hopefully we don’t have any similar emergencies in the future, but if we do, we would happily call the Bob Hamilton team again.

I have to say that in the past I respected this company for what they were. I have used this company for plumbing heating clogs and other things. I have a HVAC issue that is human felt that now In the heat of the summer sometimes we have to look at people for their worth and not what their credit report says. But I found out the true value of my dedication and loyalty as my credit report was not up to what they wanted so I had to go to a substandard way of cooling my house. I will take my business elsewhere where I'm valued from me and not based on my credit reports

What took me 6 hours of failing, took them 15 minutes. Professional service, equipment and realistic pricing. I need a $12,000 job done that they quoted me a little over 10. The business that quoted me 12 isn't even in business anymore.

I loved the customer service. They called to advise the time frame to expect the repairman, I got a 30 minute out call & even a text with the repairman picture so I would know who to expect at my door. Drew was very friendly & respectful. He quickly got the job done and only charged me the fee for coming out. Hopefully I won't need their services again, but if I do they will most definitely get my business again.I highly recommend Bob Hamilton for your plumbing needs.

In general Bob Hamilton is great. I've been using them for over a decade now. They answer questions, they're on time, and I don't feel like they try to sell me a bunch of nonsense. My only small grip is their constant calling. They need to update their system or communicate better but I get multiple calls a day asking me the same thing and it's happened multiple times. Example: They called to schedule my AC check up. They said they could have someone out today. Great! 10 minutes later I got a text saying someone was on the way and be there in 30 minutes. Awesome! 10 minutes later I got another call asking me if I'd like to schedule my AC tune up sometime next week? I explained that someone already called and someone was already on the way. They apologized and said they would update the system. Unfortunately this happens a lot. So I docked one star. But honestly not a big deal. Hopefully they do an update to the system so they cut down on repeat calls. Then it would be 5 stars for me.

I had my AC system serviced by Bob Hamilton. From start to finish my experience was fantastic. Easy to book and received same day service. Communication was great and the technician was on time, professional and knowledgeable. They did a very thorough inspection and made me aware of any issues that may arise down the road. I received a quote that had numerous options. I appreciated the information on some of their indoor air quality products. Pricing was very fair. I would recommend Bob Hamilton to anyone!

We have used Bob Hamilton for about a year for most of our HVAC and plumbing needs. We have replaced a furnace, hot water heater and an A/C Unit with them on an older house.The A/C unit cost around $10,000 and was installed less than a month ago, but during the recent heat wave we have not been able to get our main floor below 76 degrees and our upper level (where my 7 month old son is supposed to sleep) below 80 degrees.They have not been able to get back to our place to see what they did wrong almost a week after initially contacting them. Now that they already have our money, that seem to have no sense of urgency or responsibility to correct their mistakes.They were supposed to finally come out today, but have had to reschedule. This is beyond ridiculous, and I really wish I used anybody else for my previous repairs and replacements. Once they get our A/C unit working we will be done using them for good.

While Bob Hamilton's employee Aiden was not able to clear our drain, and did charge for an incomplete service. Heather in Quality Assurance was very helpful in rectifying the situation. Thank you Heather and Tim.

Called Bob Hamilton to schedule an appointment to have my HVAC checked, and was helped by a nice young lady last week. I made an appointment for today, and here I am with so service person at my house. I called to see what was going on, but “they didn’t have my name in the system at all.” I found this funny because I sure got charged for the appointment at the time I scheduled it! I was given no apology and they did not try to work me in a different day. They said they would give this to their accounting department for review and a refund. Anthony Plumbing, here I come!!

Just a bummer to have to get there in the first place.-------------------------------------------------------I am so disappointed with my recent service with Bob Hamilton. I called a technician to come out after having thermostat/furnace issues at my home. He diagnosed the problem as needing a new control panel and rewired my thermostat to help. After rewiring and charging me the diagnostic fee + rewiring, the thermostat still didn't work. Additionally, since we believed we needed a new control panel, we bought in to the yearly plan to help save money on the control panel.The next day, when I tried a new thermostat myself and found it still not working, I called to have someone else come out to look and finish the job. This technician used a scare tactic and told me my entire furnace was shot. He made no mention of the previous control panel and didn't even look at my thermostat!I continued to get second and third opinions from other firms to find out that it was all a lie. My control panel was fine from the beginning and my furnace was not ready to be replaced. One of the other techs even fixed my thermostat for free and said it was just bad wiring. I am so disappointed with Bob Hamilton and paid close to $500 for a job that was never completed and for a service I was scammed in to. I will not use Bob Hamilton again.

the hot water heater was supplied by Lowes, and delivered in a BH truck. Prior to the delivery, a decision was made by my wife and I to purchase the A. O. Smith, 50 gallon unit with the 12 year warranty—this was an “upper tier” unit—far from the descriptions of.more economical units shown to us. The BH technician assured us the 12 year unit came with both a rebate and income tax savings due to its Energy Star compliance rating.Once the unit was delivered to the front of our house, Our technician discovered that this was, indeed, a 50 gallon, A.O. Smith tank with a 12 year warranty, but it did not meet the Energy Star compliance factor that would allow us the aforementioned tax savings or rebate.By the time this was discovered the installation technician, Eric, had already taken my credit card payment and had disassembled our old water tank. At this point, and only due to my wife and my insistence, did the rep(s) agree to a $400 discount for the unit that had sat in our driveway for over an hour. Eric seemed as surprised as me that the 50 gallon, A.O. Smith, 12 year warranty tank did not have the energy star compliance factor he had initially lauded.Thank You for Your Time

Stan was very informative about why and the kind of equipment I needed, and even came back on the day of installation to see that the work was progressing on track. Steve assessed the current equipment and determined how the new installation would be handled. He was extremely knowledgeable and it was evident that he had many years of experience. Tyler kept me posted as to what was happening and how long it would take. He even removed a garter snake from my garage that had crawled in to get warm! These gentlemen were all professional, courteous and efficient. My work was completed in the time they quoted and most appreciatively, I had no cleanup whatsoever after they left. Bob Hamilton also installed my hot water heater last year and I will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. Thank you.

Tech that showed up, Alex, was very knowledgeable and nice.Unfortunately the price he had to quote for the job was quite a bit higher then I believe the job required by at least double. He did show me the rate chart he had to use and the charge for cutting and soldering a cooper water pipe to insert a water line to a refrigerator was a minimum of around $489.00

Contacted this company on Sunday 2/19 because I had a clogged sink and they were open. I was happy when they said they could get a plumber out that day and I made it a point to ask the representative how much the service would cost for a clogged drain. I was told it would be $99 which seems like a good deal right? ....Wrong, I would later find out that was a lie. I was called back a couple hours later and told I would need to reschedule due to no plumber available, so I did for the next day and since I was unavailable I gave my fiance's name and contact information and scheduled a time frame from 8am-11am Monday. Monday rolls around and I get a call from this place and they said they will be out around 1pm-3pm..what??? no, we work, so I told the lady, I scheduled this for the morning and gave my fiances information to contact. Well those notes never were put down, so she lady did not know or see any of that. She was nice and was able to expedite the request. The plumber shows up and fixes the drain, but the agreed upon $99 that I made a note to ask on turned into $300 bucks. The plumber said that the $99 was just the consultation fee, but the representative failed to mention any of this or I would have went elsewhere. The plumber then tried to see my fiance a new disposal saying our did not turn on?? (Well if it is not plugged in, it will not turn on). The cost for that would have been $700 not even including the cost for the clogged drain! This is highway robbery. He called me immediately and I said H$LL NO! I can buy a disposal and install it myself then pay that much. I just felt really taken advantage of with this company which is sad. If I was there, I would have turned them away as soon as he said the cost of the clogged drain. Be careful, they seem shady, especially with overpricing their services.

This is not a review of the quality of work, but more the character of the employees, I’m sure you do fine work as far as plumbing goes. However, your employees are representation of your company. How they act on the job represents your company, essentially when your name and photo is displayed on the side of all your vehicles. Time and time again, your employees in the hot pink vehicles have been a nuisance on the highway. Please tell your drivers to please be aware of your surroundings while driving, to please educate them that driving in the Left Passing Lane is for passing only, please yield to faster traffic allow other to pass, to please not be so aggressive and speed up when people try to pass them and to please stay off the mobile phone while driving. These people in your vehicles are representing your company whether in your home under a sink or driving from job to job.

Very professional and took time to explain a number of things I had a question on.Alan and Mike were here last Spring for AC check and to change compressor. Found out today they didn't clean outside filter so today Derek noticed it was filthy and cleaned it. Spring check up has always with other companies been part of the routine to clean the filter. It was quite an oversight. I would have scheduled a cleaning. I had Bob Hamilton plumbing come out today to reseat a toilet that was rocking, and have a toilet plunger replaced. I felt it was a bit high for services rendered and received a call from Bob Hamilton within the day and we were able to arrive at a fair price for both parties. Kyle was great at fixing my problem and Chris was very professional. I’ll use them again

Started off our morning with a leak under our place, not only did we get charged $89 for them to show up but we were told it was going to be $651 on top of that to fix the problem. If I wouldn't have decided to fix it myself I would have got conned to pay over $700 for the plummer to slide a pipe back in the rubber boot and tighten a hose clamp. They could have at least taken 5 minutes to put it back together for the $89 dollars we were charged for them to do absolutely nothing while they were here.

Bought a brand new furnace from them and 6 months after they put it in it quit working on a 11 degree day. The furnace is the wrong size at that. . Hard to get someone out here to fix it. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! They tell you 10 year warranty but that’s a lie! IT IS 12 degrees out side and still no one has come to fix the 4 month old furnace. Too be honest when I heard the price I was shocked at the cost. We were on our fourth day with no hot water , no one else had called as far as plumbing contractors so we decided to take the hit All I knew was at this price it better damn well be perfect. Zach did an excellent Job. Been having some trouble with our drain line but he expended every effort to try and get it cleared. Our issue is unique so having the drain cleared may not have fully resolved the problem, but I appreciate the professionalism and politeness that was presented.

James was an incredible worker he did everything we asked and more. Very knowledgeable and explained things well!

I’m not too shy with getting my hands a bit dirty to fix something. In this situation plumbing was no exception, I used my auger only 25ft. and still couldn’t unclog the drain. When technician Drew came out he was punctual and professional about what I could expect to have my drain working again. Not only did he have me up and going within minutes he also provided helpful information to maintain drains on a regular basis. This combined with a 30-day warranty if anything goes wrong they will come back and fix it made choosing Bob Hamilton all that much better. FYI the tech’s auger went an additional 50ft but doesn’t matter to me as I will continue using their service. Thanks again Drew Krueger!

Another tech needed to come inspect the drains with a camera, but Zachary was very helpful in explaining further steps to take with inspections, probably causes of drainage issues, and price explanation!

They were able to get me on the schedule on short notice and the technician showed up on time, clearly explained the pricing and options to clear a clogged basement floor drain, and completed the work quickly and effectively. Would highly recommend using them!

We set up for our regular HVAC AC maintenance check and found we had a Freon leak and a filter dryer problem. Drake (who was a tremendous help with our furnace problem earlier this year and did a fantastic job) recommended a refrigeration expert for this work and we had the good fortune to have Kenneth come out for the job. He did excellent work as well with everything he had to do to solve our problem. We have been very fortunate to have TWO excellent technicians and I am very impressed with not only their work but that they explained everything very clearly and were pleasant as well.

We had a furnace and AC installed and we’re very pleased. A four-man crew arrived at 9 AM and departed at 6. They were respectful of us and our property, leaving everything clean, floor swept, old systems carried out all debris disposed of. We would use them again!

American Residents Services bought Bob Hamilton plumbing.I called Bob for a leak in my bath tub. It was dripping in the basement.They wanted to replace my clean out and drain in my bath tub. The quoted cost $1400 to fix this leak.I asked, can’t you just replace the drain in the bath tub. He said they always brake. And when they see a drip like this, Bob Hamilton (ARS) recommends replacing the clean out along with the bath tub drain. I asked did you go upstairs and look at the tub to see if it had water in it?” No, so I paid my $48 service call.The next day I removed the bath tub drain with a pair of needle nose pliers and put silicone around the drain. Stop the leak. It took me 20 minutes.I have called Bob Hamilton and they said it would be 24 to 48 hours before a manager would get back with me. I ask for their email or direct line. They refused to give it to me. I sent the manager by a email with pictures to the customer service person and they said they would pass along to manager. I tried several times to reach the manager by phone. So I went by there Of course no manager was available and the only person was a HAVC manager. Nice guyI left my personal information. Still waiting to hear from a manager. Its been 6 daysThey sent a survey by email ‘0' being the worst for recommendation '10' the best for recommendation So I answered 0. They replied to me Sorry to hear that. Can we get you in touch with a manager. I ( LOL )All I wanted was my $48 back. I will never use Bob (ARS) again and would recommend you don't either.

I get it that I needed an emergency repair on a Sunday. But when you schedule it between 8-12 and call them shortly after 12. They said I was still on the list. Call again at 2:30 and they still said I was on the list. Finally receive a call at 3 and they cancelled the appointment.Waited around here for 7 hours in the hot house for them to cancel. They could have told me that at 12 when I called so I could have found someone else.I do not recommend unless you have lots of time to kill. As far as their service I cannot say bad or good about what they do.

The plumber they sent out could not figure out how to stop my leaking shower. Left me knowing I could not turn my water back on. Charged me $89.00 diagnostic fee nonetheless. The second plumber I had come out fixed the leak right away. I do not recommend nor will I use Bob Hamilton in the future.Update: I do want to give Bob Hamilton props for refunding my $89.00 after reading my review.

If anyone is needing a HVAC I can tell you who not to go through, Bob Hamilton Plumbing Heating A/C Rooter.I called last night to schedule a appointment. My normal company couldn’t see us until Tuesday. I was put on the schedule for today between 8-12.When 12pm came and went I called to check in and was told that a tech would be out soon that we were 3rd in line.After I got off work at 4 and noticed no one showed up I called and was told that Amy would be out shortly.Ten minutes later I was called and informed that no one was coming until Monday.I asked if the call was being recorded and was informed it was . I repeated back the timeline of today.Next time I’ll go with the other company that I’ve always used.I would give negative stars but that wasn’t a option.

From the start, they communicated the arrival and then walked me thru the job they were going to perform and the approx. timeframe it was going to take. The job is now complete and it looks fantastic. Rudy and Jairo were great to work with, highly skilled, very professional. If you are looking to replace your furnace or AC, I would definitely recommend Bob Hamilton and if possible, I would ask for Rudy and Jairo. I know I will when I replace the HVAC in my other house later this year (or next).

We called Bob Hamilton because our washing machine was backing up and spilling water on our floor.They came out very quickly, and the technician, Chris was very professional and nice. We also got lots of calls updating us on when the technician would be out from Jamie, who was so helpful and nice as well.However, beyond the incredibly nice and professional team members we worked with, I was pretty disappointed in the end result.Long story short, the solution suggested to us did not fix the issue. We paid over $700, and still are having the exact problem that causes us to call Bob Hamilton in the first place. We’ll have to have another company come out and resolve the issue. I wish we had known that Bob Hamilton wouldn’t be able to fix our issue. We’re pretty young and it really hurts to lose over $700 and still have to spend money with another company to get the issue fixed.Update: after Bob Hamilton left, we realized that the issue was actually worse, and contacted them.To their credit, they were extremely understanding and responsive, and actually refunded us our money. While I still likely won’t call them again, I am really glad that they treated us right and refunded us when we weren’t happy.Heather, from the customer service team, was so nice and helpful.

I'm not happy with the communication from Bob Hamilton. I had to call your company twice because I never received any communication even after my window time frame had passed. I'm not impressed! Customer service could have been much better in my opinion. Just keep people informed as to what's going on especially when the time frame has not been met. I almost cancelled and went with any other company. There are two many companies out there that do good jobs and have better customer service. Probably will not use Bob Hamilton again!

Sam and Jonathan came out this morning to diagnose a shower leak in a home we just purchased. They were kind and professional, and had the answers in no time. They were also patient with our move-in mess, and our silly dog. They gave us suggestions for other issues to keep an eye on that they noticed while working around the home, which was very helpful. They were even able to tackle a quick toilet project that we hadn't planned on addressing today - what a difference it made! My husband and I had to replace our 24 year old furnace and air conditioning. We could not have been happier with Bob Hamilton's service. I contacted their business on a Monday morning and two hours later, we had a service technician at our door. They were very honest with us, which we appreciated. When it was determined that we would need a new system, they contacted us to set up an appointment with a team member who could help us look at our options. We chose the unit that best suited our needs and we had an appointment set up for installation. They are very efficient! Steven Jackson and Kyle Andrews were our installers. They were fantastic. There was a lot that they had to install and they kept us apprised of what they were doing at all times. I was very happy with their professionalism. I highly recommend using Bob Hamilton.

Jose was the technician that came out to our house and I cannot say enough great things about him and the service he provided. He was on time, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Professionally Checked outside heat pump unit and inside unit including burner area and fan blade for dusty conditions. However, they did not inform me in advance of the xtra charges it would be for diagnosing a problem. Let alone the charge is it would be for installing a bad part. (Very expensive.)

I had less than 12 inches of PVC installed and a new faucet installed and it cost $781.00 for less than 1 1/2 hours of work. The plumber was fast and efficient, the the price is ridiculous. I will never use this business again.

Not pleased. I’ve had them out Several times for a toilet that smells like sewage. Once again they said it’s not the toilet. They should start stand behind the work. The toilet is under warranty. Beware: I paid about $600 for them to replace the stems in my shower due to a leak out of the cold water tap. They did replace them. But didn't tighten the new parts before installing them. So, it continued leaking. Had to call them back out. Tightened the new parts and reassembled. Next time I went to use the shower, found the leak has just moved to coming out of the diverter. Not sure I will have them come back out anymore because clearly they aren't going to fix the problem. Also with that second appt- made it for Saturday. Stayed home to be here. They did not show. I got a call from a private number (which was the manager calling from their home phone- blocked number) and left a message saying they were canceling due to more important service calls taking priority over my appt and I would need to reschedule- again. But no number to call back. If there were zero stars, that's what I would give. I clicked that they did shower repair, but did they really? No. $600 later, still not fixed. No offer of refund.

I've been literally been cleaning up after a french drain service for 3 weeks because I didn't let them bully me into a $23,000 sewer line replacement and had to insist they aug my main sewer line to clear a branch line that was connected to a different floor drain. They tried to tell me this drain wasn't connected to anything when in fact they probably broke it AFTER they pushed all the mud down from the exterior drain into it- it is absolutely connected to my sump pump and my basement is a complete mess. Not to mention I also barely survived their AC tune up in record heat which froze my coil. No need to contact me, this company needs to re-assess their business practices pronto. Complete circus and my main contact didn't even show up or respond to my request for estimate of work. #hotmess

Furnace went out and within 24 hours we had a brand new unit with all the bells and whistles for an amazing price!!! Steve and Tyler (the men who installed everything) took their time and made sure to explain all aspects of our new system, they were kind and professional! They recently switched their prices. Dispatch fee is $89 but they didn’t tell us that. That is just to get to the property. They then told us it was going to be an additional $331 for the actual service, again was not told about the price switch prior to the dispatch. I called my landlord and he refused to pay dispatch fee for no work to be done. I want to clarify, this is not in any way the tech’s fault!!! He was so professional and nice and chipper for it being so early. This is Bob Hamilton himself and his company.

I was very pleased with my first experience with Bob Hamilton. I scheduled a furnace inspection with them and they were available as soon as i was available. Their technician, Alan Garcia, was knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. I signed up for their annual HVAC inspection plan based on this visit.

I was able to get my AC issue diagnosed the same day and replaced the day after. Jairo and Jayden quickly did a great job with a neat and clean installation.

Scott was great. He was nice, went over all of the possibilities and options with me, he had everything he needed with him and completed the job in about an hour. I got lucky that I was home and they had someone available almost right away, but BH always seems to have people available quickly. Plumbing work is expensive (pretty much everywhere) but we are always satisfied with Bob Hamilton's response and work so we keep coming back.

Mt plumbing needed to be vented in the
bathroom. Matt and his coworker found the issues with my plumbing and explained why and how the repairs would be made. They were friendly and efficient. So far so good!!

My tenant called the company because the “AC doesn’t work” & I am out of town on vacation. The technician stopped by making tons of scary excuses telling the unit is unsafe & the “wires are messed up, sparks everywhere” once its back on after he replaced a compressor run capacitor” he told the tenant & myself that “the unit must be replaced & the quote was $12,000 for a 3 ton unit. I stopped by right after getting off my airplane & found all it needed is a new $20 capacitor! The company is very unprofessional & tricks the home owner by scaring them that the system would cause fire, explode or generate carbon dioxide etc. stay away with the scamming company!!! Very bad!

I contacted Bob Hamilton for a quote on a new AC system. Chris responded and met with me to discuss our needs. He was very courteous and professional in our conversations regarding a new system. We decided to go with his proposal and are very satisfied with his coordination in getting our new system installed.

I am a new homeowner. I started experiencing separate sets of lights flickering, oven turning off and on, and finally my main breaker was tripping. Even with the main breaker on and other breakers off, there was still consistent arcing/buzzing and sometimes popping happening. I chose to leave all power off for fear of an electrical fire happening.I called a few places and most of them weren't able to come out either that night without a huge upfront fee, or they weren't available until after July 4th (understandable). I called Bob Hamilton and the lady that answered said she would schedule me to be one of the first visits the next morning.Taylor was excellent. He handled everything from start to finish in getting a new panel installed (calling electric company/city), and answered all my questions.He even helped me with filling out my home warranty claim (which didn't pan out of course, but Taylor and I did our best). His work on the panel is excellent. If you're into wiring things like I am, you'll understand that I like to just go and look at it in admiration. He will be my go to electrician from here on out.I do feel like the price was a bit high, but I can't imagine getting more swift, professional, courteous, and complete service anywhere else.Thank you Taylor and Bob Hamilton.

The plumber that came out initially quoted us $1700 for the job. When we said we were going to get some other quotes, he lowered the price to $970 and said he had read the price sheet wrong. Seems pretty shady.

Terrible experience and a huge waste of time and money. They could do nothing to fix my clogged drain and said they had to send a camera technician. When the camera technician came, he said he couldn’t even run the camera through. I called another company and they fixed my issue in 20 minutes.

Great service and value for main line and I could have gotten it recorded if needed. It was not my first time and I had forgotten to put root cleaner down system quarterly. Was my fault and they bail me out everytime. Very professional clean well versed man that knew what he was doing. They made a small fix that saved me from purchasing a new humidifier for my heating system. The previous company told me I needed a whole new humidifier. The technician was very nice and reviewed and explained the previous quotes, and none of them were necessary, just nice updates. I signed a service agreement on the spot. Glad I called Bob Hamilton.

I have had a string of very bad luck. I was wondering why bad things happen to good people. Bob Hamilton restored some of my faith in the world. They came to the rescue after our main line collapsed leaving my household of six without plumbing. Which they fixed in a timely manner, but when water kept backing up from another problem, they continued to be here. The guys cleared the line several times before it just wouldn't clear anymore. I had use of my bathrooms but not my kitchen or laundry room. The guys at Bob Hamilton, J.R, Tim, Dylan, Juan, and Eddie were there for me and my kids. I will be forever grateful for their determination and dedication to getting our problem fixed. When Juan left today, I cried happy tears. Forever grateful for the guys at Bob Hamilton.

Initially a great experience in 2021, but missed the last 3 annual inspection appointment time windows of 4 hours and kept wanting me to reschedule. Zero effort to fix the problem when calling in other than to say well they are on their way or we can reschedule you for tomorrow. Was hoping they would at least get a supervisor involved to rectify the issue. Very frustrating to take time off work 3 times. I have no issues with the techs themselves however.

Waste of my time and money, I paid 89 dollars to be told my AC is broken this is why I called and it would be well over a 1000 for him to figure out the problem not to fix anything. This is the second time I have used Bob Hamilton and the last time. To add to this customer service called me and offered to refund me my service call fee and send someone out to fix it at a discount rate. I just asked for the money to be refunded I still have not received that. I had another company fix the problem for 600 less than Bob wanted to figure out the problem. It's a simple home AC unit if they needed to spend 1195 of time and metals to figure out the problem with a 7 year old unit they my need more training and schooling or they are gouging the customer.

Went down in my basement this morning and saw standing water coming from my furnace. I called Bob Hamilton at 10:50 am. Luckily, they graciously dispatched an excellent, polite, & professional technician to my home before 2pm who diagnosed and repaired my furnace. It's hot outside, but I didn't suffer any inconvenience because of that wonderful young man that did the work. Thanks Bob Hamilton for all those tv commercials because the company that installed my furnace told me they could not get to me until tomorrow. I'm recommending you to my other friends now.

Complete fail: After three hours and a $1,900 bill, we went from having a decent water heater to having $250 worth of parts and absolutely no hot water.It seems that the Bob Hamilton guy we essentially paid $500 an hour somehow made our water heater even less effective.The Bob Hamilton guy they sent out to fix the first guy’s mistake went at it for a couple hours, said it seemed to be working now, but it is not.We’re looking at having to burn vacation time to get this properly fixed, and having to go somewhere to spend money to have a hot shower.EDIT: Bob Hamilton did sent out another guy the next day, but we had already paid for a hotel to get a good shower. The main problem seems to be that they can't hang around long enough to see if their fixes actually work. They keep declaring it fixed until we call and tell them it's still not staying hot.My main tip for others is to give yourself time to comparison shop their quote, and see if you can talk them into sticking around to see if the water heater works.

Quick response time with absurdly inflated prices, call a smaller shop instead.I told the technician specifically what part I wanted to be replaced and that I didn't want a diagnostic. He told me he didn't have the part on his truck and offered a $600 version instead. When I declined he charged me $90 for the diagnostic anyways.I feel a little foolish for not assuming this is how they pay for all those billboards and google ads.I went with a smaller local shop who were happy to charge a third of the price and will do so in future.

This person basically blamed his manager that he supposedly called to see if he could bring the equipment into the crawl space that we had already confirmed twice last night on the initial call that they would be going into the crawl space. He refused and said that his manager told him he couldn't take the equipment down our stair into the crawl space which we confirmed yesterday again. I am truly sorry that we even called you guys because you advertised $99 and then he said well we could pull a toilet for $250 bull I will never recommend your company ever again my husband just got frustrated and told him to leave cuz he was over 6 ft tall and act like he couldn't carry that heavy machine down the stairs I think I will report you to the Better Business bureau done

Have had Bob Hamilton Co. replace ac unit in home years ago and they did a great job. When my drain started to clog, my first call was to Bob Hamilton. Called at 7:30 and had a plumber here by 10:30. Eric was very informative and walked me through the problem/resolution and my options.Will always contact Bob whenever a problem arises! The best in town!

Noticed water coming up out of our basement drain around 9pm. Called Bob Hamilton & they had a guy out by 9am next day. Fixed in under an hour. $99 with a line scope included. Can’t beat it. They’ve won all my future business.

Let me tell you. These plumbers plumbused my house like professionals. Super fast turnaround and surprisingly beat everyone else in town on a quote for sewer line replacement. If you ever decide to destroy your sewer line, have these guys replace it. Gosh.

Technicians, Samuel and (the young guy apprenticing with him who's name I can't recall, please forgive me I'm terrible at names), were both very helpful and kind. I am a new homeowner who was working on a plumbing project and came across an issue that was beyond my planned scope and capabilities. I called at roughly 7pm and the technicians came out to work on the issue the very next morning. They were transparent with pricing and made sure to actively discuss the issue with me and made me aware of different things that they tried in the process of fixing it. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and would gladly use their services again for any future plumbing needs.

They are too expensive and not professional. I called them for shower repair. They gave me two option either repair it or get new one. So I asked him to repair it as for shower replacement he asking too much. But when he started repairing he couldn't do it. So in the half way he said he cant open the shower as he already cut the shower part while trying to open it. So unfortunately I have no option to ask him to replace the shower which cost me too much more than 2k. And pressure is also very slow after new shower installation I will never get back to them for any kind of service.

Mark Miller electrician was very helpful and explained was was needed as he went through and inspected the property. Made recommendations as needed and was a very good communicator as he described what was done. Did very fast work.

Derek A was great! He gave us easy instructions on how to get the most out of our system and to take the best care to help it last longer. He told us everything he was doing, and answered all our questions. He was very pleasant, courteous, and customer focused. He worked quickly but wasn't in a rush. It was nice doing business with him!

We had so many contractors come out to give an estimate and never hear a word back. Austin from Bob Hamilton came out next day, I had an estimate that same day, and they started work 2 days later. Austin was awesome to work with and they gave us a great price. The install crew were so polite and nice. The new system is working great so far and we are happy with the whole process and the work they done.

I paid a $89 dispatch fee to have a technician look at a shower with low water pressure. I was quoted extremely high prices and decided to get a second opinion. The technician told me it was some complicated valve system and would be $656 IF he could fix it. $2700 if he had to rework it. The second company to come out (no dispatch fee), noticed it was a little flow restricter in my NEW shower head. He removed this small o-ring and it worked perfectly fine. I was charged nothing. The technician from Bob Hamilton never took off the shower head to check the pressure without the head on. What a waste of $89, but thankfully, I did not give them any more. DO NOT CALL BOB!!!

Bob Hamilton came out on time and did not leave until the job was done. They explained everything and we would recommend them to anyone looking to get a new HVAC system. Both of the technicians that came out were great and worked with us through the whole process. 10/10

I received same day service for a clogged drain. They were on time and very respectful. I would highly recommend Bob Hamilton plumbing.

Requested a plumbing inspection using advertised $49 whole home plumbing check. Tech showed up right on time and completed full inspection in 20-30 minutes. What followed next is the reason for the 1-star review. I was given estimates grouping the repairs in various combinations and the prices that would correspond with fixing everything together, or just a few items at a time. The prices quoted were ABSURD, OFFENSIVE, and outright price-gouging. My tech, Scott Johnson, presented a financing agreement to cover all repairs - $3600. I asked for a itemized quote so I could see what I would be paying for parts vs. labor, and Scott hand-wrote a summary list of what was included. Regardless if I wanted to use 60 month, 0% financing (for which I was approved), it does not cost $718 to replace a builder-grade sink faucet. It does not cost $760 to rebuild a builder-grade toilet (why would I rebuild when it can be replaced for under $200). This place is run by crooks, and they tried to take advantage of a young homeowner. I will be telling everyone I know BETTER NOT CALL BOB.

I have never been so disappointed in a company that has great views. I’ve been trying to get my main drain unclogged for a rental house of mine for the last two days I have shelled out money for the drain to be cleared the toilet to be pulled and today I’m still in the same situation I was in, when I called the technician they sent out did not have the equipment nor the knowledge to clear drain suggested that he pull the toilet and run that line he didn’t have. The tools said he would have to break the toilet. I bought a brand new toilet, still no results they wanted to send another plumber to assess the problem and charge me more money.

They did an outstanding job replacing my water heater. But after pricing water heaters at Menards and Home Depot, I noticed they charged almost 2000$ in labor for 2 hours work. I won't be calling them again

Matt Toll is a fantastic plumber. Yes Bob Hamilton's prices are more than some places. But every person that has come out is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They do the job correctly the first time and explain all the options, even those that don't require repair or do it yourself jobs. I have never felt uncomfortable letting one of their employees in my home. Matt installed a new water heater and then came out the next day to fix a faucet that had clogged. They have always sent someone the very next day when I call for service. Matt took the time to give me some plumbing advice and explain how to fix some issues myself that I could run into down the road. He treats the customer as an equal and with respect, not condescending in the least. For the safety, professionalism, and super fast service done right, I am willing to pay the extra. The same day Taylor, an electrician, came out on a follow up call to some electrical work I had to have done after the bad summer storm. He fixed the issues even tho they were not directly related to the original problem without charging me. Bob Hamilton is lucky to have both of these men as employees. Give them bonuses! 😁

Michael has been very communicative. We appreciate them working with our home warranty and taking the time to speak with them on the phone. I feel like he was very transparent with what is necessary and not as necessary to get our heater repaired.

They were very good about keeping me updated as to when our plumber would be here. Davein was very courteous, explained the problem and went right to work. He was done quickly and did a great job. I would request him again.

I called with standing water in my basement and a water heater issue. Bob Hamilton came out SAME DAY to check and make sure my issue was addressed right away. My technician Skylar was professional, kind and informative. We was kind enough to look at another small issue & offer some guidance. He also got a complimentary check of my AC to make sure my unit was not over producing condensate. Fantastic experience, will most certainly use Bob Hamilton again in the future.

put a sock through my sewer drain to line the inside of the pipe to stop tree roots from causing any more problems.

After I made the choice, Austin quoted me the total price. I paid for it and he said the installation would be done the next day.07/27/2022 Steve and Tyler called and said they were on their way. I showed the location of the furnace and a/c units. We went over what was to be done and I got out of their way. As with all Bob Hamilton employees, they were friendly and professional. My heating and cooling system was installed and no foul language was heard. I highly recommend this company for all your heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical needs. Better call Bob.07/06/2023. Landon came out for a routine maintenance check of the heating and cooling system. Awesome young man. Super friendly, professional and polite.

Incredibly high prices for everything. Recommend learning basic plumbing on YouTube before ever going with these guys. Charged me $1041 for basic bathtub faucet and shower head two hours installation. Felt pressured at the time because I had to turn the main water supply to the house off because of the leak in the bathtub. Left poor review with their phone survey so they asked what can they do to make it better so I told them reimburse half the cost so they did but hindsight says that was a $300 max job. Would be one star but giving two stars for trying to make me feel better about their ridiculous pricing.2023 edit - I didn’t understand about value versus time back then. Five stars for getting the job done.

My tech JT performed A/C preventative maintenance. Maintenance reading (voltages,etc.) were explained to me thoroughly. JT explained how I can ensure a safe, efficient, and HVAC by explaining UV protection and polarized air cleaners. I would highly recommend JT to meet your HVAC needs.

While the initial pricing estimate discussion took a bit longer than expected before the final details were mutually agreed upon, it was worth it since the end result is excellent. Scott and Chris arrived in a timely manner fully masked, which we appreciated. Scott introduced himself, along with introducing Chris who was in training. These two worked together in unison, with Scott providing Chris guidance with each step. They remained courteous as well as cognizant of protecting the immediate work area. We ended up with a new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal that appear to be installed in an appropriate working manner and are aesthetically pleasing, with no damage occurring to any of the surrounding surfaces. Our Tech Eric was punctual, very knowledgeable and helped us determine the best replacement water heater, and installed it same day. He then went over the settings, told us how to prolong the life of the appliance and gave us a water sensor to place on the floor in case the heater leaked or there was drain backup. We are thrilled with the service so far.

I wouldn’t get heating Tune-up with them! I’ve had to call 4-5 times to get the invoice? In invoice only indicated: Inspection! Nothing about what was done for Tune-Up? They’ve talked about their findings?! I was told air filter was part of tune-up free of charge, I’ve called twice although explaining for them my furnace uses special air filter 25”X20”X5”, and it’s about $40-$48? Technician showed up without Air Filter? He said even if he had it they would’ve charge me $90 +$79 for Tune-Up! Not reliable business!

The plumber spend more time convincing me that he couldn’t do the toilet auger successfully and suggested I spend more than $1000 on a new toilet. In the end, I paid $89 for the call out to get nothing accomplished. This was after waiting all day yesterday for someone to come over. Pretty disappointed in this service.

Spoke to them on Tuesday and a new AC was installed Wednesday. They were quick, courteous, and professional! I compared them to the other highly reviewed and stared competition in the area with Google and they were the most economical price as well. I would highly recommend them in the future.

Derek came to do a regular check up on our furnace, but ended up doing much more. He gave me a bunch of tips and advice to keep my furnace and AC unit running smoothly. As a first time homeowner, he taught me a lot in just one visit. He also explained everything very well, including the minor repair he had to do. He made sure I knew exactly what was happening. Derek went above and beyond, he was great!

Our air conditioner went out on a Sat. A technician was here in an hour and had it fixed in less than 1/2 hour. It was over 90 degrees outside that day so we were very appreciative

I really like Bob Hamilton. Have always received great service from them. They replaced my entire system 3 years ago and I have had a service agreement with them since. Twice a year they are here checking everything out and my system keeps me cool and warm. What else can you ask for 😊

I called Bob Hamilton when I noticed a stain and some drips coming from my garage ceiling below my bathroom. They arrived so fast! I was unfortunately not able to afford their services and did have to pay $242 for the service call and diagnosis, but for me it was worth it. My situation was not fixed, but I was satisfied to have a rapid assessment, problem identification, and they even looked at my other bathroom and made an improvement to some DIY that I had done. I think they wanted to give me some value. The quote I got was a little over $1018.00 to replace a leaky shower drain and 1 hour of labor. The men that showed up were very professional and friendly, I just couldn’t pay those prices. If you can afford Bob Hamilton, they will do a good job by professionals.

I could go on and on. I had a great experience and won't use anyone else. Really appreciated the time they spent and patience going through it all.A/C was barely running, temp was not changing, so I submitted an online form for a Bob Hamilton call back. I got a call 2 minutes later, at 10:18PM. They fit me in the next day for a tune-up.JT and Chelsea came out, explained everything, listened to everything I had to say, and I could not be happier. They checked everything and found the issue(s). They got the A/C running for me to see it could still work, then provided several options for me to choose from regarding cost, benefit, and the extensiveness of the repair -- which in my opinion (and theirs) the repairs were not worth the cost due to the age of the system.JT called in and were able to get a consultant to meet with me to see what size of system may work best for my house and laid out cost/benefit , timeline for installation, and had sheets of information to explain the differences in the options. I didn't feel any pressure to go one way or another, and they had several options covering a wide range of costs. Derek was my consultant and explained the differences in the heating and a/c, and all of the surrounding benefits for each and benefits outside of just the heating and a/c equipment.I had some other HVAC tech give me a diagnosis for a $2,000 on this system 5 months ago, saying nothing else was wrong with the system. Derek, with Bob Hamilton, acknowledged the system we had was the correct size for our house and we could do a flat replacement if that's what we'd prefer. There was no attempt to upsell me or hide costs, just laying out my options and informing me of the benefits/costs of everything. I'm happy with what we've decided on and looking forward to the installation.Installation was done by Rudy and Jairo, who arrived early and did amazing work. Worked for much of the day replacing my AC and furnace. Once all set-up, Rudy walked me through everything that had been done as well as everything I need to do to help maintain it and operate it. They were professional and did awesome work. The entire system looks much more robust than my previous one, cleaner seals and lines for everything, even a new foundation for the A/C unit and wiring for code and to avoid a fire hazard. Really appreciated being shown everything even if it's a bit outside my scope of knowledge. Fantastic work and just reinforces my great experience with Bob Hamilton.

Oswaldo was a great technician. He had been to my place before and remembered the details of what had been done. He was upfront with the scenario and identified what needed to be done. He was great.

The person who reviewed our HVAC was nice and helpful. However they charged me the $80 service fee which I was told would be removed from the total after I paid for my $500 service. I was not provided an itemized receipt, called the office THREE times, and I still have not received my receipt. So they charged me the extra $80 and then failed to provide the receipt. Won’t be using them next time.

Unfortunately I had to reschedule a couple of times as the appointment was entered incorrectly when I scheduled it, however James arrived on time and was very thorough in his inspection, as well as being polite and professional.

Had Scott come out very soon after making a service request. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Also, he took time to explain any questions that I had. There were a lot. Very happy with their services!

I received a coupon in the mail for AC tune for $99. The guy comes out and starts his tune up and he comes in and tells me that my AC was low on refrigerout. That it is only cooling at 18%. I was having no issues with the unit...just figured since it been a couple years since I had it tuned up, I would use the coupon to do it.He goes on to tell me that I could have him add freon to my unit. $357 per pound and 190 per additional pound. That he did not know how low it was. Informed me that my unit was only cooling at 18%.Goes on to say if it takes alot I most likely have a leak. First test $311 and UV test would be $559. And in most cases the leak is in the coil..replace coil would be $4080.Again I have not had any issues with my unit cooling and it keeps the temp I have it set on.My 3 option was to buy a new AC unit.I ended up calling another company for a second opinion. Was informed that waa nothing was wrong with my AC. Levels are fine. Also had informed me prior to coming that he would charge $100 per pound of freon if he needed to add any. Also prior to coming he asked if my AC was keeping the temp that I have it set on. Answer was yes. Informed me if I was low that it would not keep the temp.I do not recommend this company to anyone! And do not use that coupon!! I feel like I was lied too in order for them to make more money. Lied about problems my AC didn't have. I do not normally write reviews but I worried about how many people have they done this too and how many have spent their hard earned money on problems that dont exist.

My upstairs toilet and shower drain were all backed up. Bob Hamilton came out within a couple of hours of calling and fixed my clogged drains! Other, cheaper companies wanted me to wait days before coming out... They are my go place now!

Jared and Aidan were excellent and put in extra time until the issue was resolved. I would highly recommend them!

Alex was a sweet kid who was very professional and got the problem fixed that we’ve been trying to fix for a month. Great service and we will be asking for Alex again if we need anything else fixed!

The plumbing service tech was great - personable, listened well, and made thoughtful recommendations. I'm very happy with the results. Update: I followed up with having the sink and disposal replaced, and the under sink plumbing reworked. Again, very professional work. Three months later, I remain very happy.Update #2: My old Rheem A/C humidifier had leaked into the A/C and was a mess. I asked Bob Hamilton to take a look and got another thoughtful quote. The installation experts, Rudy and Jairo, replaced the A/C unit, condenser (and pad), drop & boot, humidifier, air return, and exhaust duct. Plus they fixed the heater wiring and outdated gas connector when they installed the new disconnect. Unlike my previous heating/cooling company everything is neatly sealed. Another solidly professional project completed with efficiency, communication, and competence. Looks really nice too - I don't think I've ever said that about an HVAC installation before.

Our furnace went out and the guys at Bob Hamilton were at our place the next day to discuss replacements. Os and Byron were very knowledgeable, personable and just joys to work with. The technicians who installed the new unit, Rudy & Jairo, were excellent as well. They came in, got right to work & were done within 2 hours. They helped install and setup our Nest thermostat as well, which was very helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Had my whole sewer line redone. Backs up every month. They can’t figure it out. I had second company come and found it and it’s covered under warranty. Now 2 days won’t show up. I called city to see if they got permit and they did but never had it reinspected by the city. Never put grass seed down where they dug ground up. Didn’t put second clean out to meet codes. Horrible company complete run around. For all plumbing needs in Kansas City I recommend epic plumbing.

We were so happy to find a plumber that has a weekend work force! Pinhole leak in waterline in the basement shut down our entire house from water use. It's an older home with its unique challenges, the repair was done without further disturbance. We are quite pleased.

Our heat went out on December 22. We made do with space heaters in the brutal cold until we could get someone out. We had a local company attempt to repair our existing 22 year old system and Bob Hamilton sent a representative to quote replacement. The ease of working with Bob Hamilton exceeded the higher price. They also promised next day installation. However, with the distance and the next day being Christmas, they pushed the installation to December 26. They did discount the cost by 10% for the inconvenience which was welcome in light of the circumstances. We are very happy to have heat restored. Thank you Bob Hamilton plumbing heating and A/C! This was a very disappointing evaluation done by the tech. He did not touch the hot water tank, did not try to do anything with the tank to see if it could be fixed, just said that because it was 10 years old it would automatically need to be replaced. If he touched the tank to do anything, the price of what we were paying would automatically start increasing whether or not he could do anything at all. So we paid an $89 diagnostic fee for him to walk in my house, look at the water heater, verify the age, and tell us to buy a new one. Obviously he was only interested in making a sale. I won’t be calling them again.

Daevin was exceptional. He didn’t have a tank small enough to fit in our space, so he went out of his was to find a water heater that was smaller in diameter. He was extremely respectful of our property and professional. He explained everything in full detail. He did a fantastic job, and I got lucky to get price matched from a different quote I had gotten. 10/10, I don’t think I’ll ever hire anyone that’s not from Bob Hamilton ever again.

He knew exactly what was the problem and he helped me find solutions and I am so happy I called them and I got the best technician out there!! We are done with Bob Hamilton's services forever after having had 10+ years of HVAC, plumbing and electrical services performed by them and spending tens of thousands of dollars.We have used Bob Hamilton services for years and were generally pleased until the terrible customer service we received over the last week. Bob Hamilton has always been 15 to 20%+ more expensive than similar contactors that provide a wide-range of home systems of services. We paid that extra because they were always available and the work (while having issues from time-to-time) seemed acceptable with each service. We were paying for consistency and a large company backing the work if there was an issue. Our thinking changed this week and we will never use this company again.On 7/29 our hot water heater stopped working. We scheduled an appointment and was promised by the scheduler that someone would be there that day. But, the scheduler did not know when during the day so the plumber would call us when on the way. No one came that day and no one called. The next day two members of our family came down with COVID. As a result, our family has now suffered a week of COVID (so far) without hot water. Today, 8/5, we were finally contacted by a scheduler saying in a perky voice, we are wanting to get you setup for that hot water heater appointment this afternoon! Suffice to say, once our family is healthy we will be using someone other than this company for all our future home system needs and we will be telling everyone we know to avoid this vendor.

As a second time homeowner, I have been finding plumbing issues that have reared their ugly head due the former owners cheap fixes prior to selling this property. Jonathan arrived on time and immediately started to work once I showed him the bathroom and kitchen that had problems. He was honest and upfront with his answers to my questions. Although the former owner's negligent construction practices caused me to spend more money to correct his faults, Jonathan's professionalism took the sting out of the experience. I will definitely use Bob Hamilton in the future.

Jose did my service well and efficient and seems to be very knowledgeable. Which is all that really matters. He came to replace my thermostat, I went with the nest. He even showed me how to use it. BUT when he quoted me the price I asked if it was minus the $89 whatever for them to come out. The lady on the phone said if I had anything done that $89 whatever would be credited back to me. He called me liar, well his exact words were “I’m not going to call you a liar because that’s not something I do”. I said well you basically just did. I didn’t think that was very professional, but other than that I have no complaints. I would use Jose again and would also recommend him to others. Anyway apparently that $89 whatever is what it cost for them to drive to your house.

We have an old trap in our home that we are not ready to take out. Two times a year the drain gets backed up. Often times we have to call multiple plumbers out to clean our main but they are not able to get their cable to clear the drain. I asked for an experienced tech with trap experience and he had no problems cleaning our main drain.

Os did a great job fixing my heat pump and did not charge me for anything unnecessary. I really appreciate how quickly he was able to get to my house to do the repair! Thanks so much!

called and set an appointment for there main drain cleaning. And got very unprofessional business tactics.They set a time for 9am sumday and then said I was wrong that was not the time given it be later ,called when the appt time was and canceled and set a time for thenext day . For 9 am and then pushed that back , and has now canceled again .Do not depend on them

I had an emergency and I needed to have a excessive amounts of hot water so he came on a moment's nose to put in a on-demand hot water heater that will allow me to sleep in my shower to help my pain. They were very understanding and their prices were wonderful, but the technicians they would be people you'd want to have over for dinner. I would highly recommend using them

Fair price, very professional and responsive. We’re very happy to have chosen then to install our backyard lights.Update:Two years later, Bob Hamilton is still our company to go to keep our Heating/AC system in good shape and to take care of electrical issues. During the last inspection this week, Kyle Moore did a thorough inspection and explained everything we should aware of. He also replaced the backyard lights that were not working (due to a problem with the fixture) and took the time to make sure that everything was installed properly and working. We are very happy with all the services that this company has provided so far.

Do not use this company, shop around…I made the mistake of not shopping around and it cost me $800 for 1 part + labor. Insane pricing for their clients with no payment options. They catch their clients between a rock and a hard place and take advantage. I understand that it’ll cost, but that pricing is ridiculous.

First technician was divert to another job, second a Field supervisor never showed up, he said the home owner cussed him out, told him to leave, funny we were home waiting for him, never saw him or talked to him. When the third person showed up, was very apologetic for the delay. Found the problem quickly, had the AC running within 30 min. Very friendly and knowledgeable. This is an update to this review. After manager read my review he replied and said I should call him, which I did. I explained what had happened and he apologized for the delay in getting a technician to me and asked if there was anything else. I told him we needed a plumber to look into a problem we had. The next day one of their plumbers showed up and left a detailed report of what we needed to fix our problem. To sum it all up, I would highly suggest using Bob Hamilton Plumbing. Very professional and knowledgeable and willing to help.

Electrical work. Short in system. Did the diagnostic testing and found the problem. They will have to return to fix it. On time very professional did a great job diagnosing problems. They were here in less than two hours after the first phone call. Highly recommend them.

Matthew and Kyle came out as part of the biannual inspections and were very thorough. Listened when I said we had evidence of leakage under the kitchen sink and kept at until it was found that the disposal was the source. Went over my options and we settled on a 7/8 hp new disposal. Then found that there were issues with the hot water heater., was told it could last for a good while, but I decided that now was the time to get it replace leaving me with piece of mind. Very happy with their services.

Couldn’t get cool air and tried everything I could find on Google. Couldn’t fix it so I called a competitor who said it would be 2 weeks. I then called Bob Hamilton and they sent someone out in 30 minutes on a Saturday with no up charge for weekend service. Amy did a phenomenal job, very help in the many questions I had related to my current issue and other things going on in the house. Very professional and great customer service. Highly recommend!

Tried numerous times to get documentation on work performed and parts replaced on my A/C units to no avail. Emails and phone calls not returned. Only receipt provided was credit card transaction. Will never use this company in the future after this experience. Terrible treatment for a customer that spent 20K for new furnaces and A/C unit from BH in 2020.

Technician was friendly but cost to replace a fill valve was ridiculously high so opted to try to fix it myself for considerably less money.

We found out we needed a new AC/Furnace entirely after ours quit working. I did plenty of research and had multiple people out to quote and talk with us- Bob Hamilton was very accommodating, kind, patient, and understanding. They were so knowledgeable about their products and took the time to really talk with us and find the best fit for our needs and price point. The installation team, Jeff and Charles, blew me away with their expertise and attitude towards their work. The install was quick and efficient and they made sure to clean up everything when they were done. They took the time to walk me through the ins and outs of my new system.

It was a wonderful experience!!! They sent out a very nice young man, Jonathan, who was so polite!!! He gave us a choice of three options for our problem. He did not talk up for the most expensive - he just let us talk and made the choice ourselves which was a delightful change!! He worked quickly, quietly and very efficiently!! He left everything in perfect order!! We just can't brag enough on Jonathan and the excellent job he did for us!! We were extremely pleased!!

This company is full of crooks. I wish I could go back in time and get my $6400.00 back. It’s been nothing but faulty equipment and let downs.
