If you enjoy paying almost triple the cost for repairs, Climate Control is for you. After getting quotes for a replacement air conditioner, we learned that we paid almost triple the cost for a recharge of our Freon. I called the office to inquire about the huge price difference and a manager couldn’t find the time to call me back. I am very disappointed by this company and have learned a valuable lesson. I recommend finding another company for your HVAC needs.

Vince, the service tech that came out, was very professional and was able to diagnose and fix my AC unit quickly. He also installed an Air Scrubber after informing me of the advantages of having one in his home. After 24 hours of having the Air Scrubber installed I can definitely tell a difference in the air quality (and I have pets in the home). Very happy with the decision to get this new technology installed in my home.

I have been with Climate Control for years, now. Don is one of the techs who can work on manufactured homes. He is fast, efficient & extremely knowledgeable with a manufactured homes' unique needs. I always ask for Don, because he always gets it done correctly, the first time! His customer service is just outstanding! I joined Climate Control years ago because our AC went down on a hot summer day on a Saturday, & not only did a human answer the phone, they were out to fix my system within a few hours with no overtime charge! On a Saturday! I am a very loyal customer because of Don & his excellent service! We have never been disappointed, which is a rarity in this day and age of automated everything!

It was time to replace our old furnace and ac. Climate control installed our new York system quickly. The whole process was super easy. The technicians were on time, thorough, and professional. They were pleasant, walked me through any questions I had and once they had cleaned up, it was like they were never there.Special thank you to Micah who had serviced our old units on multiple occasions. He's always very courteous and talks us through what ever problems we were having and helped us select the new units that were right for us. Climate control is a great company and we will happily be using them for years to come.

We have had service performed by these guys for the past year and a half. My initial contact with them was through Heather, who has handled all of our scheduling. She is so easy to work with and understanding when we have had to reschedule. We have had 3 different technicians who have performed 4 bi-annual maintenance visits, and one repair call for a capacitor. We were fortunate to have Chris M out today. Top notch guy, as they all have been. Very courteous, extremely knowledgeable in what they do, and they take the time to explain everything so I don't feel as dumb as I normally do when it comes to HVAC systems. An added bonus, our dog approves of all of them, so 2 paws up from Cooper! We highly recommend Climate Control Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing.

Climate control came out promptly when I called about my water heater leak. The gentleman was polite and knowledgeable about the situation. I needed the pressure valve installed and a pressure tank. My charge at the end was the problem. I am an older single female and just Furloughed due to COVID 19. I was charged $620 which I was hestatant to pay, but I did. I have done some investigating and found at the most I should have been charged was $350 to $400 and it would have taken over 4 hours of work to charge that amount. The gentleman only took about 20 minutes to do the repair. I feel being female I was taken advantage of. Now my heat pump unit needs repaired and I am to afraid to call anyone because of lack of trust in the system. Your company needs to to the right thing. Beth Asher

Charged us $200 for pushing a button. No repair, just pushing a button. Service man said we requested he did not come back out (which is not true).I did call and setup *another* appointment. No one showed up!!! When I called to request another tech, Don said I didn't want him back at my house, but I did not say that. Which led me to believe he did not want to come back.

Took awhile, but they redeemed themselves by redoing my duct cleaning! The guys that came were so young (still in high school), but still do knowledgeable & got it done right this time! 👍👍 Only one of them accidently put most of my vents on upside down, lol, so I have to fix them still. No biggie! 🙂

Did a great job. Got there in the morning and took the time to make it nice. I had a 20 year old water heater that ended up with a slow leek. DIY pipe ran. So it needed to be all redone. Cost a little more then I expected but got more then I expected as well. I’ll be getting the rest of my stuff done by then as time goes on. Furnace/ac and such.

Don is our man! When it's 5 degrees out and your heater isn't working, call Climate Control. They work around the clock and are super transparent about whats going on. We've had the pleasure of working with the most passionate employee (of any business) we've met, Don.The details matter - Even though at a glance everything may look OK, Don digs in deep to find underlying issues and knows how to fix them. We even had a weird setting buried in the bottom of the menus in our Nest Thermostat and Don was on the phone with Nest to figure it out and to make sure we could get heat going in our home. Climate Control and Don are the best.As a side note - Be sure to chat with him while he's with you, you're learn a bit about life and your HVAC at the same time. Good people.

I spent two winters with intermittent furnace problems that another heating and cooling company could not fix. I called Climate Control Heating & Cooling, they sent a technician out (Austin, no longer there) and he found a loose wire that was not making a consistent connection. Although Austin is no longer there, I have been very happy with the technicians that followed him. They all seem very knowledgeable and honest.

Our technician was phenomenal, our AC went out on the hottest day of the year, he was able to get here in a timely manner and fix it quickly! We were so impressed we signed up for the maintenance plan, thank you for everything!

Climate Control installed a Humidifier...backwards. Then they fixed it. Then it broke....so I thought. They came back out free of charge and showed me how it worked. I changed my rating on here from a negative to a positive. I respect companies that are concerned for their reputation and do service calls for FREE (not that it will always be thay way) to make sure you are satisfied.THANKS GUYS.

Had small problem with air conditioner they had installed 2 years ago. Came out and took care of it promptly, was courteous and efficient.

Avoid them! Go somewhere else!Severely poor service from main office. Our new water heater had issues for several months, after a work around, the water heater is still left in the work around state. Discussions with three different people at the office go unanswered, no call backs. Discussions with Mark (install manager) are pointless, and he knows about the work around! When we ask them to fix the work around as part of our spring Furnace tune-up... no call back.Horrible Customer Service!!!!

If you are one of the unfortunate customers that bought from Ideal Air which was purchased by Climate Control, I feel bad for you. I recommended Ideal Air to several friends, all seem to have the same issues. I had an extended warranty on my new furnace and AC unit. I have had two issues that needed addressed, and always have to fight with Climate Control to get them resolved under the warranty agreement. I will not be recommending them going forward, and once my maintain each agreement is up, will be switching vendors.

They were very prompt about returning my calls. The first repairman did a great job cleaning our unit but didn't quite fix the problem. I called the office to have someone come out again and they forgot to put me back on the list so it took a couple days and another call for them to come out. That is my only compliant. The second repairman was able to get the problem identified and solved.

Donny D called to confirm I was home and arrived on time. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Donny was very courteous and wore shoe covers inside the house and also wore a mask. He did a very thorough inspection of our system and explained all of the technical results of his findings in a way that was easy to understand. He took before/after pictures of his work. I was amazed at the before/after pictures that Donny took. He really spent a lot of time and did a thorough inspection/cleaning. If/when our system acts up, I know who we will be calling for service or replacement.

I had a leaking kitchen sink drain and tried repairing it with ABS cement and Water Weld, to no avail. I called Climate Control late on a Tuesday afternoon and Keith arrived Wednesday morning, much sooner than I expected. The leak was in a tight spot: right next to the copper water supply lines, a gas line, two CAT6 cables, and all located over the central trunk of the HVAC ductwork. Not easy to access at all! After surveying the situation, Keith determined the best approach to take and set to work. The job was done and tested in two hours. He cleaned up the work areas and was very courteous. And the work comes with a one-year warranty. Definitely recommended.

Ryan did an awesome job explaining the problem and what needed to be done to fix the problem. Disappointed that our 14 mo old York AC unit needed a repair. I loved how they laid down a red carpet/ mat at the front door.

This is a great company to work with. They took care of my 120000 btu heat furnace in a blink. I did some research on the unit they put in to see their knowledge. They put Amana unit in . This unit is very economical for the pricing. They didnt jack up my pricing either. It comes with 10 years of full coverage and life time warranty on the heat exchanger. Thank you all the girls that took care of me at the office as well.

New Review.Called the day a Burning Smell coming from ducts when Recirculation Fan was running. Victor arrived within 2 hours. Fan motor was bad. Likely bearing going bad. New motor ordered. Mark and Victor came out next day with new motor. Replaced motor and did a COMPLETE Check of the A/C System. Mark and Victor were Very Informative during their time here. They answered all my questions easily. Thank You Mark and Victor.Minus the couple of hiccups at the beginning, our system has been good. Our first tech we had moved on and after a couple in between, we have Donnie now. AWESOME Tech. If you do need Service/Tune-up, ask for Donnie. I feel he is worth the wait.

Jason came out to flush our hot water heater which ended up needing to be replaced. He was extremely professional and answered all of our questions satisfactorily. Any interaction with climate control heating, cooling, and plumbing is always a good experience for us.

A/C went out and called to have them come check out the problem. The A/C was dirty and needed to be cleaned. There was a small part that needed to be replaced which was done, plus he suggested that I needed a new condenser ($3K part) and he couldn't guarantee how long the current one would last. Feeling the pressure of the sales tactic, I said no and paid for their annual maintenance plan (which I regret) and small part that was replaced. Total bill was $480. Hoping for a refund on the annual maintenance plan. Don't think I'll be using this company in the future.I used this company several years ago at a different house and they tried to sell me a condenser then too....Update: canceled the maintenance plan and will get a refund, but found out the capacitor that he replaced is only $15...Total bill was $240+.I WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE!!!!

I have been a customer of Climate Control for several years and have always been satisfied with the work done. Don Chaney is my serviceman and he always takes care of my furnace/heat pump. My A/C went out last night and when I left a message Paul called me back almost immediately. In 2 hours Don was replacing the bad part. He also talked to me about the Air Scrubber Plus because he knows I take care of my son who has several health problems and we have pets. The system seemed to be exactly what I needed to help our air quality. Don takes care of things so I don't have to be concerned. It is such a relief to have someone so honest, who takes the time to explain everything he has done. Thank you Don for everything you have done for me and will do in the future. A capacitor went out on my AC unit and they got right here to fix it within a few hours. On top of that the tech Jason R checked everything on both the AC and furnace to let me know what was not looking so good and what looked in good shape. Finding myself at home recovering from a medical event in Feb, I decided to get things done around the house. One on the list was an HVAC service, since I knew we had missed the annual servicing in ’12. I could not find the file for our regular HVAC people. After checking on the internet, I decided upon Climate Control Heating and Cooling, in Liberty, Mo. I set the service appointment and the technician came out and did a regular tune-up on the system. Upon leaving, Travis advised me that because he had cleaned the blower and that it had been very dirty, it would be making an extra loud sound because the blower would be pulling harder now that it no longer had dirt. However, he said, after a few days it will settle down. I’m not knowledgeable about motors and such so I thought nothing of it. Boy WAS it LOUD. It sounded like a jet engine. After a week of this and other problems, I called Gene at Climate Control and told him that the sound of the blower was still very loud, the thermostat had been behaving quite erratically since the tune-up and that the whole system was cycling very awkwardly. I was concerned because none of these issues, nor any others, had been in the system prior to the tune-up. Gene assured me that he would send someone right out. The second technician, Justin, came out and said that he and the first technician, Travis, had spoken about the blower and that Travis could take care of it. He spent some time with our HVAC system and then came upstairs to tell me that the blower was just about shot and that we need to replace it either now or sometime really soon as it was just about shot. Travis gave me quotes of about $800 to replace the blower.The system continued to work erratically and with problems, which I thought highly suspicious considering there had been no problems prior to the tune-up. After further searching, I finally found the name of the trusted HVAC people that we had used before and decided that I really needed a second opinion about the NEW problems having arisen in our system. To negate any comments that Climate Control of Liberty might counter with ( i.e.that’s just a competitor bad-mouthing us), I also called a friend of mine who is an HVAC construction engineer to FIRST give his opinion. He came and looked at the system and determined that the blower was just fine. The fine folks at Arctic Air had arrived while my friend was still here. My HVAC engineer friend and Arctic Air tech discussed that the blower was operating very well. Arctic Air tech took the front panel off and immediately saw what the problem was: in the basic hook-ups, our system had been re-hooked into something other than the Heat Speed Relay causing the blower to not cycle as it should.So, two technicians from Climate Control of Liberty, came out and our system was reset in a very basic way, so that the blower would appear as if it were malfunctioning and needed replacing.

They came the same day that we called, and were very knowledgeable about how to prevent our issue in the future.

Outstanding service during the prepaid check of our HVAC system, The technician contacted us via telephone prior to his visit to inform us who he was, verify what he was assigned to do, and provided an estimate of when he would be arriving. He arrived as expected in a vehicle clearly marked as Climate Control's. Upon greeting him at the door, he outlined what he would be doing and donned shoe covers to ensure he did not track any dirt for outside into the house; he repeated this procedure whenever he came back into the house after being outside. He inquired if we had any concerns about the operation of the system or if we had noted anything unusual. We had no concerns. He informed us in advance on what he was going to perform maintenance and provided a verbal assessment of his findings upon completion. We appreciated his thoroughness and assessments. He was very cordial throughout his service call and I felt he did a great job and communicated well. In my opinion, he is an excellent field technician & representative of Climate Control.

I will always recommend Climate Control to anyone who asks! Best work and customer service around. They found the leak and addressed it immediately. The next day my furnace went out. (My luck) I called and that day someone was out and working on it. Cannot recommend a better company than Climate Control.Shout out to Jason and Jon!!!!

These guys are amazing! I had two other companies come out before Climate Control Heating & Cooling who seemed shady and like they just wanted to up-charge me for parts I didn't need. Climate Control Heating & Cooling were professional, fast, and had GREAT customer service. Tony installed it quickly and the new unit worked like a charm. I would highly recommend this company. Not only do they give you a good deal but they treat you like family.

Climate control has been servicing my geothermal for many years. The technician(s) spent time explaining and showing me everything we were looking at to make sure I was comfortable knowing how my system worked and why I was being charged for the services they were providing. Professional, friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend climate control to others as well.

Dispatcher Marlene sent Technician Fabian to our home on a Saturday when we awoke to no hot water. Even after the universal part didn't work, Fabian left and purchased the correct one and we had hot water that night.

Edit: The issues with the repair and servicing that I experienced have been resolved to my satisfaction. I have updated the rating, and this review to reflect this resolution.Originally purchased my AC unit in 2013 from Ideal Air Heating & Cooling which recently merged with Climate Control. In a mere 7 years, the evaporator coil needed to be replaced because it was leaking. Parts were covered under warranty, but labor was very high.Installer for the new coil forgot to install a part (a piston according to the tech who diagnosed the issue) and a month after the new coil was installed we again, had no AC. I have no issues with the individual installers, even the guy who made the mistake. I have issues with the way the company treats its customers.The company refuses to carry an inventory of parts, so it will take up to 5 days (in 90+ weather) to receive a new part. Company will not provide any type of emergency cooling (window unit etc). Company will not expedite the parts shipment by having someone go pickup the part same day. Company will not offer any compensation at all for the screw-up by their installer.So now I'm stuck without AC for up to 5 days because their installer screwed up a repair.---Update: After working with the company, they agreed to have the original technician pick up the part and make a trip the same day out to my house to resolve the issue. Net result, I have working AC again, and I didn't have to wait 5 days. To compensate me for the days without AC (due to an installation mistake) they also offered a partial refund of the fee I paid for the service.I'd like to thank the company for making things right. I would advise that in the future, you give your support line more authority to resolve things rather than waiting for things to escalate.

UPDATE: The General Manager of the company reached out to me the same day I posted the below review and was able to answer my questions. We also came to a mutually agreeable resolution. I should also add that my experience with the technician himself (Don) was great, he did a great job and was able to diagnose and resolve the issue quickly.______________________________________________________________________I was charged $840 for a fan motor replacement on my AC unit. When I called and asked for an itemized receipt to show the cost of parts and labor, I was told that the company charges a flat rate for the job, and could not provide that information. After looking up the part online via the part and model number I learned that the part cost $269.00. After speaking with the customer service manager about why I was charged $571.00 in labor for a job that took 40 minutes, I was told because you agreed to it.

Heating and cooling went out last fall, called climate control. Had someone out rather quick which was impressive. Ended up getting new furnace, ac unit, and 3 mini units for our upstairs, almost 20 grand later everything is working perfect. Fast forward less than a year and 2 of our mini ac units don't work for nothing. Called in early June to get it fixed. Took two days to get someone here, he shows up claims to have fixed the problem. Here we sit a week later ac units don't work again, called them Friday and said they'd have someone out Saturday to fix it, well here it is Monday and no one is here yet. Called me while I'm sleeping and me having explained last time, I work over nights, so they have to show up on my day off. So now I'm sitting here not being able to sleep cause I am waiting on cc to show up. Will never recommend you all to anyone again. Oh yeah and if you call yo have them fix what they didn't fix right the first time, they charge you 80 dollars.

Contacted them early in the morning about a problem with my AC. They had someone to me before lunch. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Price seemed normal for AC work and the service was excellent! I am happy with this company and would use them again.

Had a great experience with Troy and one of the HVAC technicians at Climate Control KC. They were able to troubleshoot an issue with our HVAC zoning that had prevented any air from getting to our 2nd floor. They identified the problem and got it fixed in about an hour for a very nominal fee. We'd been fighting this issue for a while now and had struck out with a few other places we'd called. So glad they were able to get our system running properly.

We are so thankful! VERY RESPONSIVE and communication is excellent. We have had Don everytime we have needed something (usually a last minute need because nothing breaks Monday through Friday 9-5) and Don has been our person everytime and has showen up when he said he would (he was on call thankfully) at 7:45 pm on a Saturday night so we did not have a hot night in the house (our AC needed help). He also showed up in the freezing cold and made sure we were taken care of! He is kind and knowledgeable! So thankful for a wonderful reliable company and a company that keeps wonderful employees. Very happy with our experience with Climate control. Called Friday for a tune up/possible repair on our air-conditioner. They were here first thing Monday.Our technician was Ben. Ben was very professional , friendly and didn’t mind we had a large dog. He was very thorough cleaning our unit which took a long time to clean because cotton wood fluff was caked to the unit.He filled me in as he went along and let me know how our 15 year old unit was doing. I’m afraid it will be time to up grade in our near future but I now trust Climate Control to be our techs. Thank you Ben

Micah was incredibly helpful and efficient when servicing our furnace and getting our humidifier up and running after years of disuse. He also was able to quickly address our issues with the humidifier and answer all of our questions!

Micah has been servicing our heat pump for years. He is the kindest and most professional service tech I have ever had in my house. He is extremely detailed looking at every part - inside, outside and within each piece. Micah is great at keeping me in the know about what he is finding and any corrections needed. Climate Control's annual maintenance service program is second-to-none. Response time, technical skills and customer service have kept us customers for 15+ years.

Save your wallet. Call someone else. Ouch! Definitely a RIP OFF! They did about an hours worth of work to take out a toilet to unclog it. Almost $700! Even after a discount. That's almost $700 per hour! OUCH. I know LAWYERS that don't charge that much. Damn! They may offer a deal to snake a drain, but hold on to your wallet for any other repair, or if they have to remove something. Not a great value at all. They did fix the problem, and they were courteous but the price🤬🤬 I'll call around next time. Anyone that charges that much per hour should get no stars. Save your wallet. Call someone else.

Signed up for a furnace maintenance promo, had an excellent experience with the technician Kyle B. and even ended up purchasing the year maintenance plan given that it was reasonably priced and seemed cost effective for regular maintenance. Kyle was very knowledgeable and friendly. He wasn’t pushy about sale of any new products or services, but was great about outlining the pros of the available options.

Seriously, I would make this 4.75 stars as a review, because there has been a little bit of a communication issue when the company is supposed to be on their way to see me. They didn’t call me about three weeks ago when they had to reschedule my routine maintenance, and the tech didn’t call me before it came out this time. Other than that, they are very professional and know their work. I think this might just be a glitch due to this being a very busy season.

Had my furnace spring check up yesterday. Nate was the tech that came out and he was great. I found this company on a whim almost 2 years ago when we had AC issues and every experience has been so stress free. Nate was very thorough in his explanation of what he was there to do and what he found/recommended for extending the life of our furnace. He was really good at having a discussion of our options based on our goals as homeowners, rather than pressuring us into something like other companies do. Definitely recommend working with this company and Nate.

Update 04/11/23 - Had a new furnace and AC installed in our new house back in December. Turned on the AC for the first time yesterday, and it started making a noise I'd never heard before. Brayden was able to quickly isolate the source and eliminate it, as well as answering all my questions.Original: You never want something to go wrong with your heating or AC, but it's inevitably going to happen. When it does, these are the people I call. When my furnace gave up the ghost a couple winters ago, they had a new one up and running for me within a couple hours. The techs I've dealt with in person have always been professional and courteous, and just all-around good people. The dispatchers, whom I've only dealt with via phone, have always been polite and efficient. And, they do it all at reasonable prices.

We've been using Climate Control for 30+ years or so for my commercial property and residential service needs.A couple of weeks ago Kyle Bryant performed the annual service on our 18 year old residential HVAC system and unfortunately it failed the safety inspection.Kyle was very detailed, efficient, professional and extremely knowledgeable - explaining with pictures of our unit -- the reasons he could not pass the unit on for further use. He courteously advised us on a replacement unit and are very pleased with the service received from all of the folks at Climate Control. The guys that installed the new units were also very efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Great company, great people to work with.

I got a second opinion & it ended only costing me 135.00 to have it fixed. Do not use Climate Control Heating and Cooling. The service technician lied about adding refrigerant and also told us that we needed to replace a certain part. We actually found out the next day that the part didn't need replacing. Avoid them if you can. There are honest companies out there that you can trust and Climate Control Heating and Cooling is not one of them.

They installed our system 13 years ago, have provided our semi-annual maintenance since. Always on time, call ahead and are very clean. They always clean up after their service.Jon was our technician today and was very thorough. He explained in easy to understand terms what he was doing and what he was finding with our system. Welllll since I'm a renter I had to let my landlord handle the rest but I am extremely grateful for Nate's professionalism and pleasant demeanor. Horrible company. My elderly mother called them because the pilot light was out on the water heater. They came out and tested the equipment and charged $211. They told her the equipment was fine, and she had another 10 years use out of it. The pilot light went out again in two weeks and she called thinking that they would just charge for a service call. But no, they charged the full $211 again. They take advantage of elderly people. I believe the technician's name was Jason.

Micah came today to fix our AC which wasn't working since last night. He was very professional and told me what the issue was. He didn't have a spare part, so while we waited for it, he was really good at keeping me updated on the status. Once the issue was fixed, he also cleaned the hvac system in our backyard. Very good service!

Came out and installed 2 vents in my basement they work great. Other companies wanted to install more, but Climate Control said our system couldn't handle more than 2 runs. Would definitely use again.

Our ac went out late Saturday night, I called on Sunday morning for service. Kelsey one of the CSRs was so kind and helpful, she even sent Donny out that same afternoon! He was quick to diagnose the issue and was even able to replace the part right away! He was so friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions very clearly. We needed a new HVAC system, and had several bids. Troy from Climate Control was the only one to walk around the house, making sure we had enough vents, checking for cold and hot spots, etc. We were very impressed with their professionalism. They actually installed a less expensive AC and caught their error and came back and installed the one we paid for. We just recently had a problem with the furnace on a Sunday and they were here within an hour to fix it. We make the right choice.

The women in the office are great to talk too and are always on top of things and call us before we have to call them about check up time. The techs are always on time and through with what they do and keep us informed if they see any issues that MIGHT be coming up. A $200 trip charge is an outrageous price. We were told it would be $100 on the phone and it was double. Our A/C was not blowing cold air. At first we were told it would be $3100 to fix. When we balked at that, the price came down to $1800. And then it was only going to be $1100. We were told they would flush the system. Amounts kept changing and we felt like we were dealing with a used car salesman. And we were forced to do a Google review before the tech would close the ticket and leave. We called a second company and they fixed it within 15 minutes and it only cost $180. Shady business practices are not cool and we will not be using Climate Control for our HVAC and plumbing needs ever.

My heat went out and I called Climate control. Chad came to my house on January 6th 2014 looked at my heater and told me that it would cost me a minimum of $600 to replace the circuit board and that probably would not fix the issue. He told me I needed to replace everything which would be over $2000. He then took 5 minutes to clean the sensor (charged me a total of $163) and told me that he suggests that I go buy plenty of space heaters to get through the night because without replacing everything, my heater would stop working really soon. He insisted I let him call his boss (another sales rep no doubt) to come and look at my furnace and give me a specific price estimate of how much to fix my furnace. I had to tell him no at least three times. Each time, he would follow up with comments about me needing to have plenty of space heaters.Long story short, it was most certainly a high pressure sales tactic being used. I paid the $163 and then called another company to come assess it. The rep came from the other company came and replaced the circuit board for $250 and MY FURNACE HAS WORKED FINE SINCE THEN.I did write a letter to complain about my very poor service experience and was delighted to be contacted by the manager that refunded about half of the $163 that I paid.I strongly suggest you find another company to service your heating and cooling equipment. Climate Control is not interested in saving you money.

We have the 2 service checks a year contract with Climate Control, so when it was time for our furnace tune up we called them. We knew we were already in for some potential pitfalls as we just moved into a new home 4 months ago that still had a very old builder grade system. Justin however was very knowledgeable and walked me through the current status of our furnace as well as what we can expect moving forward. It turns out there were some issues with our furnace system that were not even caught on our home inspection and thanks to Justin, a potentially bad situation was avoided. He called the needed repairs in and stayed on site till they were finished and the system check completed. Micah and Kyle, who came to do the repairs, were also very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered questions about our Carbon monoxide sensors (not in the system) and kept me updated on the entire repair process. All three men were polite, friendly and professional. They even interacted with my kids which made their day. Thank you Climate Control for your top notch employees.

I had Ryan O'Dell do my yearly service check and he found many issues with my 13 year old heat pump. He pointed out all issues thar needed to fixed in a manner that was understandable. Ryan gave me several options about how to fix the issues. I finally went with the option of replacing the whole unit. Ryan was very helpful in discussing the various units to choose. He even helped me with the financing. i would definitely recommend Climate Control for anyone who needs heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

Keith and Donaldo came out and installed a new shutoff valve for me. Thy were professional, kind, and fair.

The technician, Ed, that came to perform the fall maintenance on our HVAC system did a great job! He was very thorough, paying close attention to every detail. He took his time rather than rushing to get to the next job. When he was done he went over everything he did. He showed me what we need to be doing to help our system run more efficiently. He also pointed out a possible concern & solution. He was friendly and professional. It was great!

AC turned on Tuesday morning. House had not cooled down by 4 pm when I arrived home. Called Climate Control....Was not called back until after 11pm that evening. Was told I would get a call back the next day with an eta. Spent all day Wednesday in the heat waiting for a call back. Got a text late Wednesday saying we would get a call Thursday asap with an eta. Took off work to stay home waiting again. It was after 3 before the technician arrived. I missed out on 2 days of work over $200 and had to play for the service on top of that! Pleased that the technician was able to fix the problem, not at all happy with the office/scheduling process.

Update: I adjusted to five stars, our AC failed completely (and prematurely). They sold us a new system and deducted the costs of diagnostics off the cost essentially making us whole. My new system works well and we're comfortable in our house.

Justin was awesome! A really, nice guy, very thorough, went over everything on what he did, mentioned doing a water heater flush, so set up appt. For next week for that, was impressed by him even mentioning recommending getting that done, was happy was the service today.

Unfortunately this company is just trying to get money out of you. The guy that was sent to fix my ac clearly just wanted to rip me off so he spent over an hour (now I know he was doing nothing) looking around just to tell me that he couldn’t do anything and I needed to call an electrician. I then had to pay for an hour of “diagnostic charge”. It shouldn’t of taken a full 60 minutes just to determine that I needed a different person to come fix it. I am fine paying the trip charge but the diagnostic charge with no progress made in fixing my ac was ridiculous.

Jason was courteous and professional. He asked if he needed to wear a mask before entering the house. He also put on shoe covers. He did regular maintenance on our furnace and attached humidifier and made sure both were working properly.

When discussing my situation with James he did not try to over sell me a product to make a higher commission nor insulted my intelligence (like the order heating and cooling companies did) by saying we need to get all this extra work done to make your home comfortable. They worked with me, and got the problem solved rather than spending a lot of money.If you are in a similar situation and need someone to handle your heating and cooling needs. Don't be impressed by a fancy TV commercial, because you are helping that company pay for that.Go with Climate Control, they will deliver on what the other companies say they will do. We payed $89 for ac inspection and tune up after purchasing new furnace and being promised a return call to check ac in summer. July 1st tech came and did not physically perform service .he looked at unit and stated it appears good .we asked him to at least check freon and he reluctantly did .once again stated all good and left. Afterwards we observed unit had leafs inside and mulch and dirt built up in coils along with cottonwood degree. Ac quit 3 days later ,4th of July. When we called call service gave us run around .this is the 5th and still no call show no tech .95 degrees . DO NOT expect quality or reliable service from this company.

Wait time with my call was very minimal, the responder who answered was polite and got me right to who I needed. I got a call back from a dispatcher quickly to let me know about how long my wait would be (huge in this heat!) and I was expecting an hour or 2 and got a call from the tech within half an hour! Micah came out so fast to help when our AC went from good to 80 degrees rapidly in this horrible heat. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable and professional and got right down to business even with some slight hiccups in billing with our property manager. He had a smile every time he spoke to me even sitting out in the sun to work on the unit.

Yesterday should have been just a “normal” yearly maintenance day for our furnace/heat pump. However, this system, which was installed in 2005 was not having a good day! The Heat Exchanger is cracked and the Heat Pump is also showing signs of problems. So after discussing all of the pros/cons, we have made the decision to replace both systems. Not a cheap decision and not a great way to start off 2023!Brently was so great at explaining what the issues were and showed us exactly where the problems lie. During all of our discussions, there was no pressure or feeling that we “had” to make the decision to go with a new system. It truly came down to what was the best decision for the “short term” and the “long term”! Brently came back with a great proposal that we could be satisfied with. Russ and I are so appreciative of this!

Dexter tore out our whole old system, ducts and all and had us rolling with a brand new system installed within the day!

The technician was clean and professional. But $482.00 is a little much for a Freon charge. The technician said probably a defective A-coil. He also said they will contact me pricing for a new one and send me a receipt for the service they did.I have not received anything!!I will never use Climate Control services ever again!!

Climate Control replaced my AC units a couple years ago and did great work so I called them when I had a problem with my 20+ year old furnace recently. They came out and got me running quickly at a fair price with great quality work. A few weeks later I ran into an unrelated problem on the same system. This was bad timing and frustrating because if it had broken earlier they could have fixed it at the same time and saved time and money. Even though there was nothing Climate Control could have done to avoid the unrelated issue, they knew this was frustrating and they offered to do the additional repair at no cost without me even asking. I'll definitely be using them for my scheduled maintenance, repairs as needed, and when it's time to replace these old furnace units.

Shawn, Braden and Zach, did a fantastic job with the duct cleaning we needed done. They explained the steps and showed us before and after views. They were extremely courteous and professional. Thank you Climate Control. Will definitely continue using Climate Control's business.

We’ve had THE BEST experience with Climate Control this week. We’ve worked with three different technicians across different types of work, and all been seamless. Today’s experience took the cake though! Following a botched washing machine installation from one of the box stores, I called CC in a panic and they had Keith out within a few hours. He was able to handle everything the other installers weren’t able to do - totally saved the day! We’re so pleased with our experience!

Call climate control on a Monday and were able to make it out on the same day! Keith did a great job. He was patient and gave details on what the issue was. Will call them for all our needs!

Our air conditioner quite keeping up with the heat. They sent us a technician out that day and he was very polite and professional. He found the problem quickly and fixed it. Then we found another problem that started after he left and he came back the next day and fixed it. Our ac is now working great! Vince was very professional and polite. Had no problem answering questions and showing us what he found. Will definitely call him again if it acts up again. I definitely recommend giving climate control a call for any of your needs.

Had them fix which they did sold me a comfort club maintance schedule service for heater called me the day they were supposed to come to cancel then rescheduled for 3 weeks later had several rudd conversationswith office help having to have someone else come out for heater and paid got screwed by them getting a attorney and sue do your self a favor do call them.

The service has been exceptional from the installation a little over a year ago to my first maintenance check up. The service techs are so professional and informative.

We woke up to find our air conditioning wasn't kicking on, so I called Climate Control. Our realtor Kristi Soligo has recommended them in the past. They told me they would try to get out today, but it might be tomorrow. Fortunately, late in the day, I received a call from Justin at CC saying he was 8 minutes away and asked if it was still a good time. I was delighted! He asked where to park when he arrived and was very nice and helpful. He not only fixed the problem but also made us aware of the conditions of other parts of the HVAC system. We didn't feel like he was trying to sell us on things we didn't need, and he left us ready to go back to them for future HVAC needs. Big recommend.

I've been using Climate Control for several years. I originally signed on to their annual maintenance plan in 2018 when they were still Ideal air. Ever since the take-over by Climate Control the service quality and value has gone downhill. They use to call me to schedule my semi-annual service appointments. Now I have to call them and then get told that it is a 6 month wait! The service plan used to include a year's worth of filters as well as humidifier pad & service, now it doesn't. The techs are rude. One guy just left in the middle of the job. I'm not sure if he was done or not. I never got a report like I usually do. They are billing my card every month, so I guess why do they care to be nice, right? Well, no more. I'm done and going to someone else.

I appreciate that Climate Control takes calls even on the weekend. Great customer service. Tanner was professional and did a super job.

I can't say enough good things about Climate Control and specifically, their technician, Keith. Since my wife and I moved in to our house, we've used Climate Control for regular HVAC check ups and have always been pleased with their service.Yesterday, Keith came to our house to inspect our gas line which connects to our range in the kitchen. We had been told by a third party installer that our line wasn't up to code and therefore couldn't install our new range we had ordered. As it turned out, our gas line and connections were completely fine. Keith went ahead and unhooked our current range, put in the new gas connection and then helped me put the new range in, just to make sure everything was working and connected properly. His biggest concern was the installers coming back later in the week and then doing something incorrectly, since they clearly didn't know what they were talking about before.It's that type of support and service that will make me a customer for life as long as I'm in the Liberty/KC area. He went above and beyond when he certainly didn't have to and thus saved me from more headaches dealing with the appliance store and their third part contractors. Knowing Climate Control has technicians like Keith is why I'll be a life long customer - he knows what he's talking about, took the time to explain everything to me and wanted to do what was best for us.

I never post reviews and if I do, it’s never negative ones. I called climate control to have someone come out and look at my furnace since it stopped working. Brently was very respectful, polite, and responsive. I am a single female in my 20s who owns my home living by myself due to multiple deaths in my family. Brently explained the furnace needed a new part; due to the age, I asked if it would be beneficial to replace the furnace (it was 2006 when it was put in so I figured I was going to have to get a new system.) like I said, he was not pushy at all and went to his vehicle only to come back with prices that were way more expensive then I expected. I called my cousins in which they thought it might be an accurate bid due to inflation. 18k for a new furnace and air conditioning system(most efficient system they offered was 27k).. I set it up and everything. After he left, my friends dad called me who used to work in heating and cooling. He begged me not to accept this offer and that I was being screwed over. I consulted others about this and another company in which they could not believe the prices were that high. I called to cancel my install for the next morning. I couldn’t believe someone would try to overcharge me almost 10k. When i called to say i needed other companies estimates, they replied that they would match any other companies prices but not a “ one man show.” I definitely did not want to do business with them after being completely fooled. It did not seem this was a sales pitch at all, and I truly trusted this was not what was happening. I decided to go with another company that offered BOTH systems for 10k and installed better appliances (Lennox vs York)Another kicker, my neighbor asked climate control to look at their furnace and their estimate for them was 6,800 for furnace. So as you can tell for both systems being almost 20k was a complete lie. I will not use this company again.

Completed our bi-annual HVAC (furnace and heat pump) maintenance this last week. Climate Control installed the unit in 2010, and has maintained it ever since. The unit still performs very well after 12 years. Even though it is reaching the end of its life span, I feel the routine maintenance has helped it remain in good operation.Technician Ryan O’Dell serviced the unit. He was professional, polite, and very detailed and thorough. He went through every detail of the maintenance job, and explained every item he serviced, adding recommendations as needed. I also requested a quote for a steam humidifier to be installed. The estimate was given to me before he left.I and very satisfied with Climate Control, and will more than likely buy a new unit from them when it becomes necessary in a few years.

UPDATE 48 Hour Later - Still not resolved. We have been without cool air for 48 hours in 90+ degree temps. First, they ordered a new Amana/Goodman ACoil. It didn't work and was apparently defective... like the original but a different issue. Then they returned the next day (today) with a new TXV... didn't work. Now they have installed yet another ACoil, but this one isn't even Amana/Goodman, so I'm assuming it voids my warranty according to the Amana/Goodman documentation. Somehow this keeps getting worse instead of better. I reached out to Amana themselves and I'm waiting a call back from a supervisor as this has become a nightmare of a situation. I paid around 9k for a brand new Amana HVAC and now I have a hodge-podge system of different manufacturer parts that still doens't work. The tech is nice and has been through alot... heck, he's been here more than my family at this point. He's worked 12 hour days which I appreciate, but it still isn't working. At this point I'd almost prefer they rip it out and start all over with a completely new system... same model since that's what I'm paying for.New entire HVAC system installed in November by Ideal Air. Heating was fine through winter. Notice after having the AC on for awhile, there was a water leak around the a-coil unit drip pan, but at least we still had very cool air and it was cooling the house fine. Ideal Air sold to Climate Control KC. I call them, they come out and explain the part is defective from the factory and they will need to replace the a-coil. OK, no problem, these things happen and the technician was very nice. Next week goes by and I get no calls about anything. I call on a Thursday to get status. They said they would call back the next day, Friday. Friday goes by and no call. I call the following Monday for my 2nd follow-up call to get status. They come out the following day and replace the a-coil. Later that night the AC stops and says LPC fault. I believe that is low pressure cutoff. I call them back at night trying to get their 24 hour line. I couldn't get anyone so I chatted with someone via the site. I don't get a call back until the next day and was told they will try to get someone out today. I don't understand how my AC not working on a 90+ degree day isn't a priority when the issue was caused by the repair the day before. Unfortunately my warranty is stuck with this company since they bought Ideal Air. I might need to find someone else regardless. Hopefully they can make this right. I see there are other critical reviews for their responsiveness/communication.

I had such a great experience with them! Our furnace that came with our first house died on us on a Friday. It was 35 years old so I wasn't surprised. My husband was out of town and neither of us had experience with having to deal with furnace issues. I called Climate Control of Liberty because my parents use them and I don't regret it. The person who took my call was friendly and helpful. They set up a tech to come out and take a look.They came out on that Friday a few hours after I called. I was throughly explained to and shown why our old furnace died and why we needed a new one. I was told our options in a way I could understand and we were able to find the best option for my older home as well as our budget. It was also explained why I should replace our 35 year old AC system before it became a problem. They even walked me through all the financing options so we could pick what was best for our family.They came out first thing Saturday morning to install our new systems. We have an old home with not a lot of room where the furnace goes. They made it work and made sure we had pretty easy access to everything to maintain the basics on it. They also showed me how to check lights to see if it was working or not for the future if an issue came up. They even moved our old thermostat to a better location for even heating and cooling in our old home.They were wonderful and great at explaining everything to me from them start. I now feel more confident that I understand my new system and will know what to say to them if anything goes wrong in the future. It also feels good to know I can call them any time, day or night, to help out if needed. I will be recommending this company to anyone I know who might need something repaired or installed.

They deserve ZERO starts but you couldn't post without a one star rating.I pre-paid for a HVAC cleaning, scheduled it months in advanced, called the day before to verify my 4 hour time window 0800-1200, which is ridiculous!My husband took off work for this 45 minute cleaning. The appointment was constantly pushed back, 1:30, 2:00, 3:15. It is after 3:46 and no one has shown up.But if you don't pre-pay for a contract they are on time. No refunds for your contract when they don't show. The customers time is not valuable to this business. Kelsey lies about when a technician will be out and insists she is in charge. It is a poor business decision to allow someone as immature and unprofessional to be a representative for your product. I will ensure coworkers and friends know about the horrible customer service, poor scheduling,disregard for the customers valuable time and malicious business practices. I will notify Angies List and the BBB to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Excellent service on short notice! Our furnace went out on a cold night. Service tech (Paul) arrived in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and conscientious. He had us up and running in less than 45 minutes and performed our regular check and tune up service while he was here. We are very satisfied overall with Climate Control Heating and Cooling.

They were great! On time and professional. Explained everything really well and even suggested some thing for air quality and preventative maintenance. Expense stuff but nothing urgent that they pressured to get done. A very wonderful experience.

I had a plumbing emergency and called Climate Control because they were literally right across the highway. They gave me a 10-2 window the next day which was the soonest that someone could be there. I had to call twice and they missed their own 10-2 window...but Keith was a very capable plumber who solved the problem for now but also told me it will happen again and gave me several suggestions to solve the problem in the future. I really appreciated his honesty and I was aware of the existing problem but was in denile.

We'd had 3 toilets installed less than 2 years ago. In Dec 2022 one of them leaked at the floor. An extra thick wax ring was replaced. On Thursday last week it leaked again. Fabian came Saturday morning and did numerous flushes to duplicate the leak but was unable to find it. He wants us to call back if it leaks again.

Disappointed in the office staff. When I called to request an appointment the person I talked to kept getting my name and address wrong that I had to keep repeating it. Then she kept stating when my appointment was as different days and times and I had to keep clarifying it. The day of my appointment I get a voicemail at noon saying James was double booked and I needed to be rescheduled. Earliest would be Saturday. After I already waited 4 days from calling. (Every other company I've gotten quotes from came out same day or 24 hours within calling) When I returned the call I requested to just cancel it all together as I was not impressed. The lady who took my call asked why and as I explained my experience she got extremely rude cut me off and said well just have a good day then.Office staff set the stage for the techs. I was not impressed when I scheduled my appointment but was hoping the tech would make up for my initial call. But then today to be cancelled on and then rudely spoken to, forget it.

Paul did a great job getting the system going and educating me and routine maintenance needed for my unit.

On a very hot 100 degree plus Saturday. My Mother In law's A/C went out I called Climate control and they were able to come out on a weekend, quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired it with parts on board and had my Unit up and running within a hour of getting here. My landlord uses them as a regular maintenance and calls them for repairs for the heating/air conditioning unit at his rental where I currently reside. My air conditioning went out two days ago I called them they said they would be here that day. They did not show up that day they asked, would an appointment the next day work?. I informed them it would not work because it was hot as hell and we being a preferred customer and being told that they would be here, I would like them to keep their word. They did not keep their word they were saying they said they would be here the next day between 12 and 2 they did not show up till 4 and I had already gone and gotten Gorilla tape and taped my ductwork back together to make it actually cool my house because the ductwork was leaking all of the cold air into my basement and it was not cooling my house. The tape job i did FIXED the problem but my landlord and I wanted it to be completely fixed, correctly fixed. Repairman said I did a stellar job on taping up the Dutch work that was leaking and keeping the air in the Ducks to be released out of the vents and into my house instead of directly into my basement and therefore, the repairman did NOTHING TO FIX IT, did not add anything to the work that I already did to the HVAC unit.I fixed it myself. I waited two days for them to show up MISSED 3 SCHEDULED JOB INTERVIEWS for them to do nothing regarding the leaking So no. I'm not very happy with them and if it was my choice, I would not use them any longer ,but it is up to my landlord not me.

Called Climate control out for my yearly adding of freon to my twenty three year old trane ac unit, it's old but just keeps running. I've been using climate control for years, loyal to them, I always tell the tech to just check the freon level and let me know the price of the freon and the amount needed. I was told about three pounds of r-22 freon was needed at a cost of $300.00 per pound, I asked about replacing the leaking A - coil and was told my unit was to old, A-coils are no longer made for this old of a unit. Decide not to add the freon at $300.00 per pound and was given a bill for nothing. Called another large ac company and asked how much there r-22 freon was per pound, $115.00 per pound and they have A-coils to fit my unit with a 12 year warranty. Lesson learned, always get a second estimate, companies are not looking out for your best interest, no matter how long you have patronized them.

We had a plumbing issue that I couldn’t figure out. Checked online for someone who could come out with short notice, on a weekend. I messaged and got a reply right away. Sure enough Climate Control was available to help us the next day. The repairman arrived earlier in the day than was expected, but that’s a good thing right? Who wants to wait around all day? He called when he was on the way and he arrived as he stated. He listened to my explanation of the problems we were having and offered up a solution and an estimate. Inflation sucks! Well the repair was completed in no time and done right…I watched and chatted with the repair man as he was doing his work. A real nice friendly guy but I forget his name? I asked many questions and he was very helpful with anything I posed. The total bill came out lower than the estimate, another good thing! We are very pleased with everything and the issue has disappeared. We will now probably be scheduling a AC tune up with this company lickaty split!…edit: we had a tiny seeping issue in one of the fittings that I had to have them come back out for…just needed a tweak with a wrench. There was a bit of a communication problem on the scheduling but it got done and it’s all good now!

This is the second HVAC system we have purchased from Climate Control (2 different homes). Our experiences thus far, spanning nearly 20 yrs. has been excellent. Dave the owner, runs a great company with great employees. Excellent customer service, response time, thorough explanation of all services provided.

This was my first experience with Climate control and I could not have asked for better service. Our A/C went out late at night and climate control was there within 30 minutes. Thankfully they were able to fix the issue very cheaply, and they did not try to pressure me into buying sometime I didn't need. They simply fixed the problem and were on their way. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I now have the annual maintenance plan which minimized my expense, provides 2 inspection visits annually and other plan benefits.

Our AC was not working well so we called Climate Control. They were quick to get back to us and sent out a technician. Micah came out and was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave us several options at fixing the unit which could buy us a little time however we decided replacing it would be the best option. *I will update this review after the unit is installed.*

Called for a quote and service man came out talked about what I wanted done, which was a sump pump put in from cutting a hole in basement floor to wiring the pump and a battery backup. Was told it was a dusty job and service man suggested to hand plastic around where I wanted the sump pump to help minimize dust. They came at 9 or 9: am and when I came home at 4 they were sweeping up. Did a very nice job on fixing concrete where they cut it. Was very pleased with the work they did. Same service man installed the sump pump with 1 helper.👍

Climate control has been very professional with all the services I've used them for. From installing a new water heater, furnace and air conditioner when it was -15 outside this winter, to fixing some plumbing issues with my outdoor spigot and routine maintenance of my equipment they have been a pleasure to work with.

Donaldo Mendoza came out last week to inspect the plumbing in my house and flush my hot water heater. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He found my PRV failed and caused my expansion tank to fail as well. I figured i would get that stuff repaired as well as adding a water softener. He came back out today and did the repairs for me. I was stunned to see my new maintenance water softener how small it was. He explained how it worked for me. The install looks very professional and clean. The person taking the call was a climate control employee working from home but took the call and initiated a call to the on call technician.He, in turn called us to say he was on his way.As this was after normal hours, he was unable to acquire the necessary part to complete the repair until morning.Therefore, the repair will resume tomorrow after the part is acquired.

Today I was sent an angel from heaven in the form of Jason Andresen. I don’t ever write reviews but we scheduled a routine maintenance appointment with Climate Control Heating and Cooling Liberty. Our technician Ryan said our hvac system was very old and needed replaced. He said that our heat exchanger was bad and carbon monoxide was a real threat to our health and gas furnace legally had to be shut off for our safety. They sent a sales men out that same day to talk about buying new hvac system. They gave us a price estimate on replacing. We scheduled a second appointment with different company to get second opinion. They said our hvac system was working fine and heat exchanger was fine also!!! Don’t walk…... RUN from this place!!!

Our AC was down and the indoor temperature reached about 90 degrees very quickly. Only issue I have is that 23 months earlier they installed the same thing. That can be chalked up to a defective part, so the tech installed a different brand. Nate was great! He texted me an hour ahead of time so I could be ready. I asked for a few more minutes before the appointment and he was very accommodating. He washed out All the condensers on the AC outside, which was really clogged. Inside he always wore the booties and explained how the system really works. I had him clean the blower wheel which had never been cleaned. Great job Nate!

What Happened!! Call Climate Control because my air conditioner was not working. They came out and charged me for a service call and told me the motor was going out. They were to order a new one and install it in a couple of days. A week later I still haven't heard from them so I gave them a call. Was told they would call me back. Still haven't heard from anyone.I am a Senior Citizen and you just took my money and left me hanging. Shame on you !!!!!

Jason was my service tech for our A/C unit. We have used this company many times, and he took the time to read all our customer notes before getting here and asked me if I had any concerns. Was professional and did an excellent job cleaning the unit outside and inside. Also, he added some additional sheet metal to our older unit where we had aluminum tape to give it a better seal. Climate Control has been doing the maintenance on my air conditioning and furnace for two years. Vince Miller was doing the annual maintenance on the furnace. He had a gas leaking machine with him. He tested my pipes and discovered that I had gas leaks. He immediately contacted the office and scheduled an emergency plumber. Drew Whitlock, the plumber, showed me where all the leaks were and explained to me everything about the leaks. I am a widow and I was unable to pay the bill. The owner paid for it as a Christmas present. I am beyond grateful. I would recommend them to everyone. They are honest, reliable, efficient and really care about their customers. I've been using Climate Control for all my heating and cooling needs for years. However, I was beyond impressed by their great customer service for my recent HVAC emergency. I came home from work and realized the AC must have gone out because my thermostat was reading 85... I made a call to Climate Control and Maddy was able to get someone over to my house within about an hour. Our service tech (Brayden) was able to quickly assess and resolve the problem. Travis completed our semi-annual furnace & a/c check. Keith performed a check of all plumbing systems and repaired a gas leak on our fireplace. Both were informative, knowledgeable and respective. We will always use Climate Control.

Called Climate control to look at a water heater on Monday. A plumber came over and looked at it, but couldn't fix it because it needed more manpower. The plumber was professional and courteous. I followed up on Tuesday with the office , and they said they were working on a quote and I would hear back soon. Waited another day and still no word. Finally, called another company and they sent a plumber who fixed it in less than an hour. He laughed when I said I was waiting for a quote from another company. In short, this was a simple job. Climate Control only cares about google reviews. I will not call Climate Control again.

I really appreciate this added effort so that i know when to expect them and who will be showing up.Nate was very welcoming and easy to talk to. He went over what he was going to be looking for and told me how much time it could possibly take. Nate, also made sure to answer all of my questions and even got up in my attic to check the quality of my insulation. The client care/satisfaction, added effort and continued communication were 10/10. Nate was wonderful and even helped get me on the schedule for insulation install this week.The company is now incorporating a Stop light check list at the end of the service call. I LOVE THIS because I'm a visual learner and It was so easy to follow. I was able to see the entire breakdown and how my system is functioning. The rating system has designated green, light green, yellow and red boxes. This was so helpful to actually see what was working well and what needed to be discussed as a concern.I've been with Climate Control for two years and I've never had a bad service call.Nate was so polite and helpful. I truly appreciated and enjoyed the extra time he put in, in getting questions answered, communicating the HVAC maintenance check list and finding quotes for attic insulation install.

Zach was nice, professional and had the part ready before he even got to my house.

Called them out because I had an issue with my AC. They put me on the schedule that day, but were unable to make it. They were able to show up the next day, and gave me a call 27 minutes away, so not the hour, which is fine. Jordan was my tech, and he spent maybe 10 minutes max outside diagnosing my issue. Never opened the unit at all. Told me my unit was drawing too many amps I believe. I asked for an estimate, and he told me for parts and labor it's usually around $400. This was not an exact quote, because he didn't know the price of the motor. I was told I would get a call with the price the next day. Paid him the $89 for the service call, and he left. The next day, I realized I had to work and wouldn't be able to answer the phone, so I sent an email back to him letting him know about that and asking to reply there. He never called though. I waited several more days with no call back, and finally called them. They told me he was at home (which is fair, as it was 7:30 ish) but that he would call me back at his earliest convenience. Never called back. Still, to this day I'm waiting on his earliest convenience Heres the real kicker, finally just found someone else to do it, and it turns out, there wasnt anything wrong with my motor, there were wires hooked up wrong causing it to over heat. He may have known that had he bothered to open it up and look. What a complete waste of money. Long story short, look elsewhere for your repair needs.

This company is first class. Their service Tech Travis did a great job and unfortunately it was time to replace our nearly 20 year old A/C and from their sales person, Troy, to the installers they were very professional, on time, and responsive. Within 18 hours we went from finding out we had an A/C that needed to replaced to a new one installed and cooling our home.'2/2/2022 - While I still stand by the quality of work they did I would not purchase their maintenance program. They scheduled it in the spring of 2021 and cancelled due to them having repair calls, which I appreciate they take care of others in more need. But they never rescheduled so we never go any of the checkups and maintenance that we paid for. This is disappointing considering how our first interaction was. So I lowered the rating to 4 stars.

I have a maintenance package, so it usually doesn’t cost me anything when they come, but they are always thorough and make sure they do a good job each time they come.

Do not go with this company- their model is to sell something everytime they walk into your house! Had a normal maintenance and was told my evaporator coil was leaking and needed to be replaced. They up sold me on the repairs to try to pressure me into replacing my whole unit. When I called another company for a second opinion, there was a valve loose on my outside unit. Total repairs were $210. They won’t give you pricing upfront and will force you to setup a second appointment. That is where they will pressure you! “Today only pricing” for your on sake go to shanks heating and cooling and ask for Nick or James they will shot you straight. Treat people right and they will be a customer for life.

On January 4th of 2023 we had Climate Control come out to look at a leak. The tech -Keith came out and said that we needed the expansion tank replaced due to the one that we had failed. And we needed to move the tank higher up from the water filter. So that meant all the plumbing had to be done. We had the repairs done $1200.00. 3 weeks later we had the same leak . So what he did fix was not the issue. The water filter was leaking and climate control wanted us to pay another amount of $700.00 (that’s including labor)to repair the water filter and it was less than 30days of the repair. We was fine with paying for the part but not the labor. Keith did say that climate control was not going to discount the labor. But why are we paying for labor if what we called them out for was a leak. Keith did say we need to call and talk to Kirley H. We spoke with Kirley and agreed to a 500.00 parts and labor for a water filter and yet we are still waiting for that call back . And we still have the leak At this point we will not be calling Climate Control for any service. Unfortunately Climate Control has service our heating and cooling and somewhat plumbing for 8 years and this is what we get for being loyal customers.

I had climate control put my system in and they do a great job but the last 2 times I have had them out to repair my system they charged 160.00 for a part both times. I looked up the parts later and found them for about 20.00 each I think they should not be marking parts up 1000%. They are a good company but I don't think that is unfair.

Needed an AC tube up bad. I called at like 5:30 in thee we evening on a Friday and they were able to come by the next day in a Saturday. Awesome customer service good prices. Will use again.

It's random that I do reviews, but just need to say that this company is awesome! :)You always get a heads-up call, only work with super friendly and knowledgeable personal and they guide you through everything so well. Great experience with P. Krop in particular.

So unprofessional!! They told me the night I reported my AC outage that someone will have to be at my house that is 18 or older and the order will be put in so I made sure I was there. I stayed home from work and waited and gave them a call at 12:30 when Jasmine told me that dispatch was in a meeting and she would call me back to give me a ETA on when they would be here. I then called back at 3:30 after no response and got told that they haven’t serviced me for two years and I’m considered a new customer and they aren’t accepting new customers so they won’t be coming out. This is after I waited all morning and afternoon for them without a call. I was told by them to call Colvin’s in excelsior to service me witch if your looking you should just call them because they are 100X better. Climate control put my unit in in 2019 and had to service me in 2021 because they didn’t put a part on that they were trying to charge me $350 for and now in 2023 my unit goes out and I’m considered a new customer so they won’t service me. Colvin’s came to my rescue by fixing their mistake from 2021 for free and getting my unit running. I do not recommend Climate Control to anyone!! Poor management!! Hands down the worse! If I could give a zero I would.

Mark K.was the most professional, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond while servicing our air conditioner. He restored our faith in good people out there. My husband lost his gold chain a few months back that I gave him 35+ years ago. While Mark was checking our drain pipe from air conditioner to the drain under our washing machine, he found my husband's chain!!!! Wow, we were so overwhelmed, Mark did not have to tell us and we wouldn't have known, but as an person with morals and respect he told us what he found!!!! Our AC went out during the hottest day of the day year. The person answering the phones was very nice and professional. And the technician was able to come out within a couple hours of me calling. The technician that came was Vince and he was very friendly and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. I would highly recommend!!

Kyle was my Service Tech who did my furnace tune up. He was very complete in checking out all the needed areas for my tune up.

Heater was not running. I called their office and the service tech , Brently, was out in less than an hour (on the weekend). He went over my entire heating system and discovered a gas supply problem caused by another contractor. Corrected that problem and all is now good to go. Only charged a minimal, very reasonable service fee. I couldn’t be happier. They will always be my HVAC service company of choice!

Technician, Justin K, arrived during the appointment window, providing a courtesy call and ETA in advance of his arrival. Justin seemed very knowledgeable and was pleasantly friendly! He took the time to answer our various questions and spoke very highly about working for Climate Control as a company and the extended knowledge base available through his peers and field tech. We will make note to request him for our winter service!

We bought both our furnace and our central air conditioner are furnace broke new years eve my husband called they we're out within three hours unfortunately the part that had to be special ordered it wouldn't be until January 3rd leaving us with no service the coldest night of the year due to my own health issues we couldn't just pack up and register into a hotel and drag along machines the gentleman that was fixing it understood our situation and I sure my husband as soon as the part was in he would immediately fix it do to extra expense in investing in electric heaters I want to say climate Control heating & cooling went out to make us happy & whole again to see they kept there promise on January 3_2017 they got the part in fix it without a problem they we're only concerned was I was comfortable & warm thank you climate control heating & cooling for caring about my well being before anything else not many companies do that this day & age so if you want a company who truly cares that was climate control Heating and Cooling they meet all your needs the working man are nothing but gentlemen thank you again and God bless

A/C was running ok but I noticed it was cycling weirdly. Diagnosed problem and fixed. Very thorough check up and repair. Very professional and knowledgeable.

My church which Church of the Holy Martyrs, purchased 3 news AC from their company last year. And the AC has never worked correctly since Climate Control installed them. We did ask them to replace a new one and they did not respond. Last weekend, summer heat came and we turned on AC and only 1 AC works, the other 2 AC did not work. We called them and asked them to replace a new one. However, they claimed that is not the AC and won't replace a new one for us.

I have a service contract with Climate Control. In early October, Climate control called to schedule the service for my furnace. The first available date was for November 20th, in the morning. I scheduled that date, but on November 20th, no one called or showed up. I called this morning to find out what happened and was told my appointment was for December 7th, which is not an acceptable date. The other couple of December dates that they had open didn't work for me. The next open dates would be in January, 3 months from the original contact date in October. After buying a new A/C, Furnace and Water Heater and service contract, I guess I'm no longer a valued customer. I have No problem with the techs that have come out for service or repairs, just the office staff that take the calls and handle the tech's schedules. Will take my service business to another company.

Ed came out to perform a A/C Tune up.We have been using Climate Control for over a decade. Always on time, Always respectful of our home, very courteous and they do the things correctly.
