LBA was quick to respond to our service request for a clogged toilet. They called 30 minutes prior to the technician's arrival to let us know his name and also sent an email with a photo so you know exactly who should be entering your home. Pat at LBA solved a problem with our water line feeding our sprinkler system in about five seconds that no other plumber, irrigation contractor or technician could. We were ready to dig up the water line and he saved the day. They really ARE heroes!

I am so unhappy about this company, it was my first and last time to use. Even they charged 120$ for diagnosing the problem @ my kids bathroom. The tech guy mentioned about 575$ and could not explain the reason behind the high cost. I mentioned about to talk about his supervisor but he did not wait and just got 120$ and left his car. It was such an un professional act. Please double check before called them or use some other professional company.

LBA performed my normal HVAC maintenance recently and I asked if they could figure out why the smart thermostat would no longer connect to my wifi ... they went above and beyond troubleshooting and dealt with the manufacturer tech support team to determine the root cause and restore the connection ... all without me having to lift a finger, do research or make any calls. Great service!

Noah from LBA came out to do a plumbing inspection and maintenance that is included with our annual maintenance plan. He was incredibly thorough; spent over 4 hours at our home, took care of minor repairs and pointed out potential other maintenance and repairs, but, didn't do a hard sell on them. He was very polite, professional and gave us good peace of mind in terms of our home's plumbing. He was a rock star.
Corbin was extremely professional, listened to my needs, solved a problem, and taught me a little about AC systems. I hope to see him next year. He's the best!

Furnace would stop working periodically. I had another Heating and Cooling come out twice to repair the problem but they could not identify the problem. LBA came out and recommended the burners be cleaned. They performed the work.
Walter installed our new ac unit today, he performed his outside work in the very hot temperature that we are currently experiencing. The heat did deter him from working diligently. A very good worker and a pleasant person as well. Thank you Walter.

Loved our guy Callum but the price was outrageous. We paid $454.00 for a 15 minute job and we provided the gas line for the stove.
Technician Noah Michael did a drain, flush and re-fill of our water heater. He did great job, answered all my questions and was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend LBA services to friend and will use them again.
The technician was professional, very polite, and very efficient. Some of many reasons why LBA is my go to.
Steve Raburne quickly diagnosed the problem with our furnace and made the repairs expeditiously.He showed care for our property and professionalism in his work.
The installation team at LBA did an amazing job on a challenging project. They replaced an existing furnace/AC located in the basement with a new unit in the attic and all new duct work. The installers were extremely detailed and committed to doing quality work.
Friendly, professional, and extremely prompt service! This week is looking like it’s going to be one of the coldest on record, and of course our heat went out. Called at least 10 other HVAC companies and they were the only ones to make it to my house tonight! Didn’t try and oversell like some other companies will. Will be using them in the future. Great work!
Lauren showed up early and I was notified. She gave me the strategy of not needing to come into the house if I took care of the thermostat setting and she could enter through the garage door to access the furnace. In spite of the deluge if rain she was efficient, got everything done and we able to finish up the payment details on my front porch. Love working with courteous professionals.

We recently purchased an office condo that needed a complete HVAC system, hot water heater, and various plumbing repairs. After speaking with several companies, we went with LBA and we couldn't be happier. Everything was done in one day and when Jim, Chris, and Jordan left the building, there were no signs that they were there; other than everything that was wrong was now right. It's been almost 2 weeks since the work was completed and everything is working perfectly. We love our new system and we HIGHLY recommend LBA!

Angelena did an excellent job of locating a replacement water heater and replacing it. She was very professional, knew what was needed and completed the job in timely fashion.Just like the great service we received from Pat on our water leak three weeks ago, LBA again took care of our problem.
We'd had some issues with our HVAC, and reached out to another local company and was given a diagnosis from them, along with a quote. We called LBA for a second price quote. The tech came out, checked over the AC system, and actually took the time to see what was really wrong with it. It went from a $8000 to $1400. We have a rental as well, and they are the only people that take of our property, and always will be.

I know things happen but I would appreciate being notified when there is a delay. This is NOT the first time this has happened to me. I was notified at 7:40 am. that the LBA technician was at the warehouse stocking his van and would be on his way to my house shortly. No one arrived. At 9:20am I called LBA and was told the same thing--the technician was at the warehouse and would be on his way shortly. No one contacted me to say he was delayed and why he was delayed. When Omar arrived he said that a staff meeting had run overtime. It was not Omar's fault. He did a great job. I am frustrated by the lack of communication from LBA when there is delay. .
LBA is awesome!! Been an LBA customer for 20+ years. LBA did our HVAC / Furnace in 2010 still working great!! Plumbing inspection today. Inspection reveals a water heater will be needed in our home. LBA will be our guys for this install!!

Snake kitchen sink.Good news is the drain is now working.Cons - i am still cleaning the mess up. It wasnt exactly clean when he got here 6 days with no kitchen sink, but ng stleast there wasnt water on the floor and sewage drops around the edges.Last thing is he destroyed my screen door handle on the front door. I tried fiixing it but the housing doesnt reach through to the screw any more. I will have to buy another handle.

Was on-time and professional, the quote for the work was completely off-base however. $7000 to move a water heater 3' and redo 25 feet of gas line is either price gouging or trying to price themselves out of doing it because a reasonable quote wouldn't be 'worth it' to the company. LBA is a professional, customer oriented company, this quote was just way off-base.
Rylan was excellent to work with. We've had issues with other companies but I was completely confident in his knowledge and resolution of the problem.

Great experience, Angelina was fast, professional, explained everything thoroughly and was great with my nervous dog. Fantastic experience despite the not so fantastic circumstances that prompted the call in the first place!
Arrived on time and completed the work. Pricing structure was ridiculous however. $89.00 service call which was waived if I agreed to do the repair) then tier pricing for replacing an outside spigot ranging from $250 all the way to $650 for 45 minutes of work. They would include a new garden hose for the $400 upchargeSteer clear of LBA would be my suggestion

DO NOT CALL THEMThey do not stand by their work. They came out and worked on my commercial refrigerator and it stopped working less than two months later. I called another contractor who stated that it was obvious the unit had been worked on by another vendor and that they had left off a cap which clogged a line and lead to the line freezing over. That had to be replaced by the second vendor and now we're up and running. I spoke with Zack today and he basically rejected the second opinion of another heating/cooling/commercial refrigeration company, stating that he was wrong and that the bill stood, even though my preschool lost over a week's worth of milk and food. I used them for my current residence, the home I just sold, as well as my business but they did not care. Now I'm supposed to pay a THIRD contractor to get yet ANOTHER opinion from them on whether or not the second contractor's assessment is valid??? Seriously ridiculous that I'm having to jump through all of these hoops just to show that THEIR TECH MESSED UP. No offer to reduce the invoice, just told the invoice stands. And that I should've called them back out. Why am I going to call the company that didn't get it running the first time? I called another company to get a second opinion and they told me, unsolicited, that the previous tech messed up. I totally get that mistakes happen, but I also refuse to pay for both the second company's invoice that was caused by LBA's mistake AND LBA's invoice.

Tech was polite and professional. Very courteous. We had a tech out to the house within 3 hours.
We discovered a toilet leak Friday night and by Saturday morning Noah was at our house diagnosing and fixing the issue. From the person scheduling to the person showing up to do the work… everyone was helpful and professional. Each called when they said they would, arrived on time, took safety precautions with the pandemic, and were friendly and efficient. I was told up front what the costs would be and there were no surprises. Overall, a great experience!

Austin was great. He stepped in after a complicated situation of having a confirmed appt only to have no one show up during the 12-4 appt window. We were without hot water for 4 days during the New Year's eve holiday weekend. He had the problem fixed quickly after Phil fixed the first part from the earlier visit. We have great respect for all the technicians. Times are challenging to keep a business fully staffed and we get that. It is a lot easier when you can talk to a real person when dealing with scheduling. That is our only negative about our latest experience with LBA. Our issue has been resolved and you can't ask for more than that.

They have performed maintenance on our existing building units, as well as installed a new 20 ton packaged unit and ducting, etc. for an ISO-8 clean room. Omar did the HVAC annual maintenance.
He was efficient and he took the time to answer any questions I had. He was very knowledgeable and he explained what he was doing for each step in the process.
Arrival within specified time frame, email included picture ID and background of technician. There was a professional inspection of problem, review of pricing and agreement on work to be done. Technician was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Cleaned up completely prior to leaving. Everything was great
Dalton came in and assessed both situations we had (two toilets having different problems). He gave me a game plan and costs on each plan. After WE agreed on the appropriate plan he just worked it through while I was on calls with clients.I call that a professional!
Austin Jones was very good as all the workman I have had from LBA have been. He went through his check list and explained what he was checking and what needed to be corrected. Austin was very polite and took time to explain. There were two workman and one checked over my sump pump as it was not working well after all the rain. The communication between LBA heating and cooling office was great. They sent emails reminding me of the appointment date and time. When the technician was on his way to my house the office called me to let me know and make sure that was okay with me.When the technicians arrived they were dressed professionally and put on booties on their shoes. They were professional and explained each step what they were doing. They gave me options when they found that I needed some repairs to the humidifier and furnace. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

I had originally given 2 stars simply because of the fee that was charged, however after posting my review, I received a call from LBA within a few hours. They agreed that my fee was too high and worked with me to determine a much more reasonable fee based on the service that was provided. I am so grateful that they were so willing to help me in that regard - their action has prompted me to alter my review, as I am very appreciative of their efforts to make things right for my family. Thank you, LBA! The work that was done was done well and now the price reflects a more commensurate charge for services rendered. I appreciate the ease in which this was settled.
My service technician was Rigo Medina and I was impressed by Rigo's professionalism, efficiency and knowledge. Wonderful company and associates. I have been a customer now since 2013.

Patrick the technician did a thorough inspection of my system, cleaning the AC Condenser. Gave me great information how better to maintain my system and explained in great detail some of the newer features that LBA has available now. I had a man Tyler come from LBA to maintenance my air conditioner and he was very professional and did a great job!! I would recommend them to anyone.I have to update my review for LBA. I had them come to my business to help with my air conditioning. Steve came out on a very hot day and got one of my units up and running! We had a not very good guy working on our units and he made a mess of my units. He had great communication skills and really knew what needed to be done to get us online again. Thank you so much!! Nick was awesome! He was able to take a look at our plumbing system throughout the house and immediately knew our situation and exactly what we needed to have done. As new home owners he was really patient and took the time to explain our system and what was lacking. We have old piping that was leaking in our bathroom. We were trying to install a new vanity but it was out of our wheelhouse. Nick was able to build us an updated, safer plumbing system that custom fit our new vanity. He even helped put it back in place and caulk the sink to the frame. He didn’t have to do any of that and it was so much appreciated. We totally recommend Nick and LBA for their great service and will definitely use them for our future needs.

Austin was very courteous and I really feel like he tried his best. However, when he came to bid our job he had mentioned that he would have a more experienced person to actually perform the work. That did not happen after the manager called and asked me to postpone our job because if an emergency and I told him we couldn't because of a delivery date. I ended up having a total of 5 people from LBA in my home. It took 8+ hours and a friend pointing out to them that the place they installed our new gas line was not right. Also, after some research was more pricey than neccessary. I will say the job got finished and Austin was very nice. I'm not sure if I will use them again.

While I have had some HVAC training in college, I tagged along with Corbin to learn a little more. Corbin had the latest in test equipment and inspected all vital parts. Corbin arrived quickly and helped figure out some furnace issues that had caused the fan not to run and overheat. He didn't try to rush through anything and explained everything he was doing well. Luckily nothing needed to be replaced and he offered some future improvements without trying to sell too much. Corbin was friendly and quite informative, the service was good, and I chose to start up a maintenance plan with LBA.

I was referred to LBA by an online agent for a water leaking in my rental house. However, before he arrived, we have found the water was leaking from a pipe lead to the refrigerator. We have shut off the water. This guy arrived and we just told him the story. He looked around and then charged me a trip diagnostic charge of $89, which I agreed, and then another additional diagnostic charge of $68, basically for nothing. Duo the massive water leaking, I was already stressed out and just want him go away. This person and its company was taking advantage of my stressed situation and running business without basic ethic. At least, if you wanted to charge me something, should you tell me ahead of time before doing anything. The fact is that he did nothing and did not tell me the additional charge ahead of time. Very bad company. Will never use them again.

Technician was on time. Respectful and appropriately friendly. Appearance neat and professional. Kent looked over the job and then presented the various options. Answered all our questions and the proceeded per our decision. We felt comfortable leaving him to work as we went about our day. This is not our first encounter with LBA. They service our hvac and have taken care of other jobs at our home. We would recommend this company to others.
Was time for fall heating maintenance including replacing Merv air filter, humidifier tune up and checking safety and electrical devices. Eli Mann competently performed service and wore a mask the entire time. I renewed my annual P3 membership, as always. Have used LBA for 16+ years and will continue to do so.
Nick and Austin were out today. They both did a great job in overviews and laying out the needs and pricing for my issues. Nick also called the office to schedule my next furnace visit on my behalf. They were as great as my other visits from LBA folks. I highly recommend this company!

I had contacted LBA through an advertisement (I think it was on Facebook) that offered a Free Quote, a NEW system, and reasonable financing ... I was already thinking about having someone come out and look at our system because it is older and our furnace was making noise. They sent me a text last Friday and I got busy, and told myself that I really needed to call them... My furnace decided to call my bluff and DIED altogether on Sunday! When I discovered it was blowing cold air, my son said that the noise it was making got much worse on Saturday night, I guess that's when it gave up the ghost... Fast forward to Monday morning when the temperature here in Kansas City dropped dramatically! I was in a bit of a panic as I am in the process of getting a home improvement loan, however it is still going to be another week or so before we are going to close on the loan, and finances are a bit tight at the moment... I called LBA from work at 8:30am on Monday morning and my call was promptly answered by a nice young lady named Kelsey. She was GREAT! Friendly and professional... She assured me that she would contact one of their technicians (Scott) as he was out in the field and she would as him to come over and look at our system to see if it was worth fixing or if we should consider a new one... Shortly after we hung up Scott called and said he was on his way to my house. I let my daughter-in-law know that he was on his way over. He arrived and looked at our furnace and called me back at work with the news that he suspected that our furnace wasn't worth repairing and recommended a new unit. I said okay, how much would something like that run? I was extremely apprehensive and worried that he was going to say thousands of dollars. I was pleasantly surprised when he quoted me for 3 different systems and we decided on the middle of the road one. It was less than I had originally thought... I explained to him about the pending loan and my financial situation. I told him my credit was decent, however I would be able to put some money down and stuff... He said let me call my manager and see what they could work out for me, and he would call me back ASAP. A short time later he called and said they would be able to work with me! I was elated!! I was also worried about how long it was going to take as we also have my 2 grandsons (a 2yr and a 3 yr old) that live with me and it is cold at my house!!! He assured me they would get the new system installed as soon as possible, but in the meantime he would drop off some (loaner) space heaters to keep us from freezing until they could get the job done... True to his word, he dropped off the heaters and called me to tell me they would be out Wednesday morning between 8-8:30 am... I am so pleased with the service so far, and I will update this review when the work is done!UPDATE:This update is WELL overdue!! Scott came out as promised (at the scheduled time), installed our new furnace in a timely manner and we have been toasty warm ever since!!! I am super happy with everything they have done, they have far exceeded my expectations. I will be contacting them again soon to look at our AC unit as we may need a new one of those as well, (at the very least it needs to be serviced). In addition, I am super stoked that they do plumbing as well, because we have a few plumbing issues that need to be addressed! So, I will be using them from here on out for all my Heating, Cooling and Plumbing needs! Plus, I will most definitely be referring them to all my friends, family and stuff!!!

I used LBA for a simple kitchen faucet replacement. Their service was professional, timely, and of good quality. However, their pricing practices are abysmal, deceptive, and unprofessional. Their home office gave me a quote for the service visit. The fee to send a technician is $120 (non-refundable fee, which is very common practice, no problem here.) But they would not provide a quote for the faucet replacement. How about a rough estimate, or even a price range? Nope. How much could it be, I asked? Simple 60-minute job? Maybe $200? They gave no response. So I scheduled the appointment, trusting in a reputable company charging a fair price. Then on the date of service, the technician walked in and immediately quoted $570 upon arriving at my house. This is their standard fee for a faucet replacement, he said. Why on earth would the technician know this information while the home office did not? Note that this is their standard fee, and the job could not be more straightforward and simple: remove a Delta faucet, replace it with the exact same Delta model. Cookie-cutter job. 60 minutes. How is the price a mystery? And more importantly, how could it possibly by $570.Rejecting his quote would of course mean that I'd eat the non-refundable $120 service fee. Accepting the quote would subject me to their bait-and-switch. This is the textbook definition of a racket. Any reputable company that is proud of their work and striving to generate repeat customers would provide a fair estimate upfront. Conversely, any company that resorts to strong-arming their customers into a high price for a simple job is led by inexcusable management. I'd like to think this was an un-intentional outcome. But the technician's well-groomed pitch to upsell me on their monthly subscription service (in order to get a discount on the faucet replacement) makes it pretty clear that their pricing practices are quite intentional. Inexcusable.

Aaron, our heating and cooling expert at LBA, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He serviced our baseboard radiant boiler and unclogged the drain line for the HVAC cooling unit. He came back when we discovered that our upstairs baseboards units were airlocked, at no charge.LBA, overall, has been super helpful after we had a flood in our new house only 3 days after moving in. Very responsive, expedient response, excellent notification about when our heroes would arrive (always on time), and extraordinarily professional yet approachable.We thought we might have to install a new sump pump to prevent future flooding, but they let us know that expensive install would not resolve our issue. Instead of conning us into an unnecessary job, they had the integrity to point us to a better solution.I'm astonished by how wonderful our experience was with everyone at LBA. I'm now a devoted customer, and trust them completely with all the plumbing and cooling needs if our new home. Absolutely top notch!
Did a good job and the tech was very nice. The only issue is the cost. Very expensive. Almost $900.00 to replace a sump pump. That was with my membership and getting 10% off. It was going to be over $600.00 if I went and bought the sump pump myself and had them install. Didn't take the guy maybe 45 minutes. Crazy prices. I paid it because if I had other plumbers come out for estimates they charge anywhere from $100 to $150 just to come out. So difficult to get estimates without paying close to $300 before the work even gets started.
Technician came out and was very polite and easy to talk with. He took care of the heating issue and corrected problems that I didn't even know I had. Great experience!

Great service not awesome priceThe LBA service person was terrific. He is knowledgeable and clear, and did not engage in BS. I think the service was expensive, especially in light of the fact that we purchased,approximately 7 years ago, one of the most expensive units. But I see no reason to criticize the service person because LBA's charges are, I believe, high. The LBA service person also explained how to use the LED flashing-light code on the motherboard to see what might not be functioning correctly. No previous LBA had even mentioned the code to me. He also showed me how to clean the condenser. Again, no previous LED service person had done as such. So I give him the service award of the year. He was also very polite.
I had them come out to fix a leak in the air conditioner which costs $400. The leak wasn't fixed so I asked them to come back out. The guy was up there for 2 hours and we could smell smoke come from our vents. He didn't actually look for the leak but put the cover back on that the previous guy had left off which I was then charged $230 dollars and would take 2 minutes to do. They then quoted me that they would SEARCH for the leak for $200 after that for their mistake. Awful business.

Keith hooked me up with a good replacement system. He seems extremely knowledgeable and actually brought to my attention things that other people didn't notice. Our duct system is a bit small for our house and he wanted to make sure that the upgraded system would be able to handle it. I would have given them 5 stars but the install crew was an hour late for the appointment. They're actually going to do some metal work to make sure everything fits and works properly. So from a employee to customer viewpoint that I had for the first time was yesterday. When you are going through the stress of putting out lots of money towards new equipment knowing you need it and would probably be happier with it, can leave a bitter sweet taste in your mouth. Also your life routine is completely in disarray with the chaos that's going on during the installation of a full Hvac system to a mini split and a steam humidifier not to forget the water heater either. My day started a little off for me but by the end of the day everything was completed checked twice. With the support of the sales team, office team, Warehouse and the installers made everything easier for me to go to bed last night. A special Thanks to Chris S., Kevin H and Jim H. I've used LBA twice in the recent past to replace a failing central air unit and 6 months later a failing furnace. They were great to work with and had reasonable pricing. I am in the process of rehabbing an old house which needed a replacement for a 50+ year old furnace and it's first central air. LBA came in an did a thorough walk-through to perform a thermal analysis to determine the correct solution. They provided a number of different options in different price ranges - with a thorough explanation of the pros and cons of each. Keith did a great job on the pre-work.Randy and Chris were the techs that worked on the installation. They were great to work with and did a fantastic job - not always easy in an old house. Kudos to them for a job well done.I'd recommend LBA to anyone that want's quality work done at a good price.July 7, 2023. Daniel Aguilar worked on my AC today. It had been backing up water and dripping through to the floor and down my floor drain. He did a thorough inspection. Found that the problem was simply a backup from the drain line caused by accumulated debris. Cleaned it, flushed it. Did a thorough system check to make sure that nothing else could be causing the issue. Was very knowledgeable, very friendly. I appreciated his help. I'd be happy to see him again for regular maintenance.

I had new flooring installed which was a lower height than the previous tile floor. Because of this, the toilet sat about an inch higher than the new floor and the flooring installers just jammed some pieces of old subflooring around the toilet base and called it good. Of course, the toilet ended up leaking as the wax seal broke from the toilet rocking back and forth. I called LBA and they sent Jason McClain out to re-set it and replace some plumbing as well. I was extremely happy with Jason's work and he was friendly and very nice too. He did a great job re-setting the toilet to where it sits flush now (no pun intended, haha) and even put silicone around the base. The plumbng in the basement that he replaced looks shiny and pretty now instead of all corroded like it was. Jason was very neat, clean and organized throughout the entire job and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Thanks LBA and Jason!

The plumber at LBA was very quick. I was so disappointed that they charged me $80 for the part and $200 for labor (although it only took him 30 to 40 min to replace). Please ask the question on the break down of the fee as I could've found a plumber 1/2 the price that focuses on the job instead of a flat rate for a simple job.

Yesterday, an LBA hero really helped me!! I had 2 rather urgent plumbing problems and Angelena came on time, worked quickly and efficiently and had both problems solved in short order. She was friendly and polite and very careful about keeping my house clean. Nothing provides a homeowner more comfort than a knowledgeable person with the necessary expertise and confidence to solve the problem and get the job done. I have used LBA for years and they have never let me down. Angelena kept up that history of professionalism and competence! She is welcome in my home anytime.....my cats loved her too!

I have a two year old Sears central air system. It broke down on a hot Sunday afternoon and the Sears team that installed the system told me the best they could do would be a Wednesday appointment. Jose and LBA were at my house in less than two hours and fixed the problem which seemed to be an installation error in the first place. I wish I had LBA install their central air in the first place.Had a furnace go out on Superbowl Sunday and got LBA out is less than four hours (Jose again) Great service, lifesaver.

Excellent work!!! A+++. Friendly and professional. Very satisfied and would hire again. Had a bad water leak in the ceiling and needed emergency help. Doug and Callum went above and beyond in taking care of the problem. On September 26, 2022, they completed a whole house repipe replacing all galvanized water lines with pex with a new 40 gal water heater, new laundry hook up, new stub through to the kitchen cabinet and the downstairs half bath water lines, including the toilet in the half bath, 2 builders grade faucets, and new quarter turn water stops for both the kitchen and half bath. Their work was excellent and I highly recommend them and LBA.

Michael was very professional and did a good job testing my air conditioner and letting me know that it will be good for about two more years and then I will need to replace it. He let me know that you no longer are with Lenox and said the ones you sell now are very efficient and easy to service. He was very knowledgeable. I like him very much.
We have a mysterious leak that was getting carpet and tiles wet. Angelina the plumber came and checked things like the drain for the a/c, shutoff valves for bathroom sinks, even opened the water meter in the yard. She narrowed it down to a crack in a shower floor causing a slow leak. We were thrilled to finally have an answer! She was very professional and so thorough. I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

Wow, okay, so these guys are awesome! Coldest night of the year so far, and the heater decides to quit working. Saturday night, 830 and the guy shows up. Makes a quick fix, explained everything, was very professional, friendly and engaging. So much more than you would expect for a late weekend service. Absolutely will be sending more business their way when/if needed.

LBA fixed leaking faucets and a shower head as well as a broken valve on a gas line. Noah did the work today and he was respectful, polite, communicated well, efficient as he worked, and evident that he knew what he was doing. I waited a couple days after the work was complete to write this review and we’re confident the job was done very well. We’ve used LBA over the past 5 years for AC and heating work so we’ve met a few of their workers. The scheduling is always organized too. Each time we’re impressed with the quality of person sent over- good, dependable people. We recommend LBA.

Had a new furnace installed today. Gave our CC info to the tech; he read it back...had it written down perfectly! Get a text from our CC company...debit denied because of expired cards. The office must not have used the info the tech wrote down and used info they had on file from previous debits. Had to call them, and this is huge..because the A/C wasn't working! Guess it was not fully checked b/f he left to make sure all was in working order. Had to have a tech return. Waiting around sucks!!

We had LBA come out to repair out outside sewer line. OMG, they were exceptionally professional, on time, quick to repair and affordable! We would highly recommend them to anyone.
Called LBA and they came out on time and the man was nice but our problem didn’t get solved. They said their snake was too big for our drain and then poured a $80 product down the drain which didn’t help anything. Now we’re stuck with clogged sink (still) and product just sitting in it.

Team was great. Worked hard to get the job done right! And they were more than a good tech team. It took longer than anyone thought (it would’ve been better to know that was possible and the only reason for a 4 star instead of 5) and we thought we’d lost our cat during the day. The team really cared about that. In particular Reece really tried hard to help us find her. He is a great young man and a great example of a company who hires not just good techs but good people.
Lba came to my home in July for a regular service check up on my a/c. It was working but not blowing very cold. The service tech said I needed a brand new unit and charged me $115. October 3rd I noticed the air blowing was not cooling the house so I called a different company. He replaced a part and now it blows ice cold. I showed him the report from lba and he said with the readings lba got off my unit the part should have been replaced in July. All the worries about coming up with $5000 to replace my whole a/c unit, (My light bill is very high because my unit has been running non stop all summer) I wish lba would have been honest and replaced the part instead of trying to make a huge sale.
Installation crew was very friendly and professional. They arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

5 stars for Patrick who visited today and tuned up our HVAC system ($47). He was professional, communicative, and knowledgeable. This review is 5 stars for his benefit as part of an incentive program.Following the tune up I was shown a few things that require corrections, along with a monthly subscription package for ongoing maintenance. I declined all to research more and have found that their prices significantly exceed even the highest ranges for average work costs. Having quite a problem with one of our units and Chris and his contact with Mitsubishi were able to troubleshoot the issue with circuit board. Very personable and informative with explaining issue. The issue with the board is being resolved but it is on order at the moment.
LBA was able to schedule my AC maintenance appointment very quickly. Al arrived on time and was very good at explaining what he would be doing and how long it should take. He took precautions with face and shoe coverings and was careful not to damage my landscaping while cleaning the outside unit. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and provided a suggestion for a condensation pump that he thought would improve the function of my HVAC system.
Great experience. I had my hot water heater flushed and inspected. LBA had a sale on the service, so the price was excellent with no surprises. Everything from scheduling to payment was very easy. Kent, the service tech, was on time, professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable.
They let you know when they are on there way with a text. Very polite, the tech put covers over his shoes. After he was done he stayed and explained everything about the furnace, I was very pleased.
The employee who came to my home was friendly, professional, and thorough. I am pleased with LBA.

Noah was an awesome service person and he had new ideas for the way builders ran water copper lines to water heater. It so clean the way he did it and less than 24 hrs I have hot water again. We have a church built during the 60s and maintained by handymen until we engaged LBA several years ago. We regularly discover previous repairs by others that are below commercial standards. Such was the case of an old bathroom sink drain and p-trap that was grouted into a cast iron waste line. Doug was very careful in the cleanout and final repair of the trap. He checked for leaks in the restroom below the problem drain and cleaned up everything so the restroom could be used immediately. We strongly recommend LBA and their service techs for your repairs.
Jake was very efficient in his diagnosis of our AC system, as well as professional and helpful in explaining the work needed.
We are set up for replacing outdoor water pipes. Am looking forward to getting job done asap. Very pleased with the guys handling this.
This is NOT a rating for the LBA technician who poured his heart and soul into diagnosing problems with our HVAC system purchased and installed by LBA a mere 3 1/2 years ago. We were informed the system required repairs amounting to over $1,900.00. REALLY?! After spending almost $7,000.00 on the purchase and installation I would expect a useful life of all the major components of the system beyond 3 1/2 years. Alas, I'm stuck with a large repair bill and what choice do I have but to pay the piper or swelter in the mid-summer heat. Disappointed? Yes, I am! Angry? Yeah, that too. Does anyone manufacture quality products anymore?

Second time I've had Angelina do some non-trivial plumbing work for me (new washer connections/shutoffs in previous house on a rush basis the day we moved out, and now a new main shutoff and pressure regulator in my current house). Lba is on the way, not true. Everytime I hear their commercials touting how perfect they are, I cringe and change the station. My ac quit working on the hottest day of the summer. I will say that they came out quickly and I thought, hey this is great! Then the tech pulled everything apart and said the motor was bad and there was not another motor in KC, so he had to order it and would be back the next day. Well the next day came, noone called, so I called them. They had no real answer for if the part was in or not, but promised to be out the next day. Well the next day came and again they did not call, so I called the tech directly and said that he was scheduled to pick the part up the next day before noon and would be out to put everything back together, that would be on a Saturday. So Saturday came and no one called, so I called the tech again, he then told me that he did not pick up the part and that he was not even scheduled to deal with me on this day. I was furious at this point. I got on the phone, made one phone call, found the motor, picked it up, installed it myself and fixed the dang ac. These people are far from perfect and should stop touting this in their adds. I would not recommend LBA for any service.

Drew came out with Chris and was able to tell me what was wrong with my furnace and my old air conditioner that quit working years ago, long story short we talked about how much I was spending on my electricity bill and he put my mind at ease by telling me that getting a new furnace and air conditioner would save me money and won't cost me a fortune, with easy payment option , I will be able to be comfortable in my house again. And I want to say thank you to Scott for helping me find the right option, you have a great team there keep up the great job!!! And I have to say that Jill also was very attentive to my needs she was Pleasant and helpful she called me back to inform me when drew would be at my place. Matthew was sent to repair a leak in my kitchen drain. He found the problem causing the leak, and another that we were unaware of. He pointed out the problem, explained it to me, and explained how it would be fixed. He was extremely nice and polite, tolerating my dogs and grandson all the while he was working. He was very professional, and the area under my sink looked so much better when he was finished! He gave me good advice about my garbage disposal, and how to use it. I will always call LBA, and ask for Matthew when I need plumbing help. I could not have asked for better service. I know I can trust them just like a member of my family. We just love LBA!

LBA is too expensive. My water heater pressure valve was bad(which is under $10 at Home Depot) and the band aid fix was $371 for a job that took my dad a few minutes to fix(bless my dad, he drove 2 hours to come and fix it). Of course, they went to the most expensive fix first which was over $1000! You can buy a new water heater for a lot less. The plumber actually took out his book and showed me the different cost starting out at the most expensive fix on down to the band aid fix. Needless to say, I didn't have them do the work but I still had to pay $89 for him to go stand downstairs and say he checked water pressure and all which I don't think he did. I get the service fee which would be waived if you have the work done but I don't agree with charging so much for a fix that would only take a few minutes and a part that is so inexpensive. I will not use LBA again.
After my air conditioner went out on a Monday (on a 90+ degree day), I called 5 companies and none could come before Friday. We both work from home and have a little one. We need our air! I found LBA and they apologized that they couldn't get there until after 5pm that day. Our air conditioner needed a new part and they were able to order it and get it installed the next morning. Andrew, our repairman, was nice, efficient and professional. Awesome service!

No sooner than I called LBA Services, Pat was here at my door ready to check out my sump pump, drain and toilet problems. I was sort of overwhelmed. I agree that the price was higher than I expected, but it was the customer service that won me over.

Doug and his young helper was both professional and Great they worked very quickly on doing a spot repair on the sewer where it connects to the manhole they fixed/touch something that most other companies would probably not do they actually had to go into the manhole themselves to make some repairs that the previous Company who did the Sewerline didn’t go all the way to the manhole they just connected it to the old cast-iron pipe we have been using LBA since 2017 will not call anybody else out but LBA I’m the renter in the house was very impressed with doug and his young helper. Repair was done 6/3/2021

Dale is amazing! He was here first thing last week to see what needed to be fixed, got the parts and by Friday end of day we were up and running. My furnace is 22 years old so I expected to be told I need a new one eventually. However, LBA has done my annual tune up for several years, and it was just now that they advised me to replace it due to a crack in the heat exchange. I feel they are honest with me and tell me the same thing they would tell a family member. Oh and the tech, Eric J #176, showed me the crack on the camera once he snaked it to the spot of the crack which I appreciated. Thanks!
Excellent customer service. Excellent plumber. On time arrival. But to fix a faucet that wouldn't stop running, the charge was going to be $400. My husband instead ordered the cartridge replacement and did it himself. That price seemed very very high. It was disappointing because I really wanted to use LBA for all my future plumbing needs. The service is great but the prices too high.

Couldn't be more pleased with the experience from beginning to end. LBA will always have my business and referrals! Shout out to Kip and (name of the second person?) sorry for going into the crawl space and putting up with my dog.
My air conditioner is having trouble keeping a consistent temperature now that it has gotten hot out. It will cool off at night but by 3pm it gets up to 77 or so. The tech came out and said he didnt know what was wrong. He offered to clean the outside unit and one of those cleaning options was $800!! I chose the cheapest option which was over $250 and he said he didnt know if that would fix it. He cleaned it and left and nothing has changed. I still have the same problem. ???
I had an appointment from 9am -12pm. They called at 11:30am to cancel my appointment to tell me they had other emergency calls like my appointment was not an emergency!!! Not very professional! Scratching this plumbing business off my books.

We had a small leak in our Air Co unit inside and it was from buildup of dirt directly behind the condensation hose ... repairman vacuumed and cleaned out the unit and put new hose on and all is well.......

They installed 49 new A/C units for an apartment complex in 2019, and now many of them won't cool the apartments- shortly after the 1 year warranty burned off (imagine that!). Horrible customer service on the response to this issue. Over a month and they've still done nothing to take responsibility.
Jonathon was extremely tenacious in trying to diagnose the plumbing issue and was very informative through the whole process. I would definitely use him again and recommend his services.

We've had a lot of good technicians come out to maintain our furnace and air conditioner, but by far, Andrew was extremely efficient. Our furnace is getting old and he took a lot of time to evaluate some concerns. He pulled the motor and cleaned it, something that the other technicians claimed could not be done, due to the furnace's location next to our water heater. Over the years, many of the technicians stated that the water heater would have to be taken out to allow easier access to the motor. We were so impressed by Andrew's service, we will request him to maintain our furnace again. We would also like to extend our kudos to Michael who came out last Spring to service our Air Conditioner. Our Air is not as old as our furnace, but Michael took a lot of time to ensure it was functioning properly.
The technician was very courteous patient and professional.
He did a good job of giving us options on how to replace our hot water heater.
Our service technician was Evan. He was very professional and friendly. He was able to unthaw our frozen pipes in a timely manner so we could get on with our day. Thanks LBA!
It was a pleasure to work with Robert. He was efficient and knowledgeable, and I had a gratifying time talking with him. However, he pulled a bracket out of the wall that attaches our A/C drain and we had to repair it.

Omar did an excellent job at my home on our system I don't want this post to take away from him, he was a real professional, clear and concise. Certain aspects of my install was hurried and I was told that they were short personell. Omar found an issue and corrected it, however I have concerns that to some degree LBA has shortened the life of my unit by not installing correctly the first time and operating in a deficient mannter. Had I not decided to pay for the maintentance package sooner than later more perceived damage could have shortened the life span/ life cycle of my equipement. I'm not pleased with this and am stil trying to process how I feel about how I spend my money and whom I give work to, especially at $15K.
Nick was prompt and did a very professional job. He repaired a leak with an upstairs toilet that leaked into a downstairs ceiling. Found previous shoddy building installation and repaired it as well. Have used LBA for many, many years and they have always given 5 Star Service.
Every LBA person I have worked with has been great! The plumbing technician and air conditioning technician did an excellent, professional job and are very fine folks to boot.All the office customer service representatives I've talked to at LBA have also been smart, friendly, helpful and very professional. It seems to me that LBA runs a fine organization with good people who work there.

Very response company, however, be advised of high labor costs. We have a two year old furnace that needed a $200 part and LBA wanted $700+ in labor.
I first called LBA last summer when my compressor cut out. Since then I have relied on LBA with their annual service plan. Their pricing is reasonable and the people are friendly and professional. They follow-up with me for scheduling and let me know of issues before they turn into problems.The LBA technical staff are well trained and courteous. I recommend them to all of my friends and associates.
It was a great experience. Michael was on time, very thorough, and explained everything applicable in detail. There was a problem in finding the real problem, but he stuck with it and got it repaired. Because of the problem, there was no charge. This is an outstanding company.Don Peterson

Well, as parking is an issue at our home, I suggested parking in from of my house on bell which backs up to this rental. The plumber didn't get these instructions he says and parked on state line where parking isn't allowed and went to the front door and the guest let them in while my son was waiting for him on Bell. She let him in and I sent my son in the back door and it caused a great deal of drama. He did a great job, but it would have been easier on me if the directions were followed as it is a short term rental and she freaked out and it cost me about $600. not his fault but it would have saved me a whole lot of stress.
Chris Savedra deserves 10 stars for the work he did for us today. The outside vents were freezing over causing the furnace to stop working. He came out and reconfigured all the vents the right way so they don't freeze over in this cold weather. I can't thank him enough for fixing our problem.

I called to get a second opinion on work that i had gotten quoted by another company. Nicholas came and gave a quote at a lower rate than the competitor while also validating the work that needed to be done which gave me good peace of mind since it's a very expensive fix. Very kind and informative and my German shepherd liked him so that's always a plus.
Had our boiler replaced, and everyone was professional and friendly from start to finish! Quick quote, great price, scheduled quickly and did the installation in one day. Jim and Jordan were my techs, and I could not be more pleased or impressed. We will definitely use them for yearly maintenance and other A/C work in the future!

Utilized LBA after winter weather froze our pipes and we weren’t quite sure if one burst. Technician called in advance to notify of their estimated arrival time. Technicians showed up within that time frame. Both technicians were very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and answered all my fully and in easy to understand terms. We had to opt for a temporary fix until the weather warms up and we can determine how to access the pipes for full repairs. They took the time to help explain the next steps needed for repairs and offered tips to get us through the winter! Appreciated their great service and friendly demeanor, especially at almost 10:00 pm! Will use LBA again!

Tech - Phil - arrived and listened to me explain my problem - clogged kitchen drain. I showed him my drains and concern it might be a sewer issue. He deduced (correctly) it was merely a clogged lateral. He cleaned it and checked his work completely. My drain is clear. He did a good job. I would recommend him to anyone. Just wish LBA’s prices were a bit more reasonable. I’m a repeat, longtime customer, for a reason.

We've used LBA for several years. They have always done an excellent job, been professional, knowledgeable, shown up on time and left a clean workplace behind. This morning Mike C. came out to clear a badly clogged basement drain...and I only called about it yesterday. That's what I love about LBA. If you have an emergency, they get there fast and for a reasonable price. Mike had the problem resolved in a short time. My suspicion that the repair estimate was grossly inflated was born out by the technician I did hire, Also the advice that I should replace a unit that, as it turns out, was seven years old and still under warranty. causes me to wonder if the diagnosis of the unit I did replace on the day before may not have been fully accurate, A reckless way to treat a relationship client..

First day in the new home and there was back up coming from the toilet into the shower in the basement.The tech putting in our gas line said being apart of the LBA membership, he could have someone out to drain the line.20 mins later, they inspected, sent a cam down and then drained the line. When I spoke on the phone with CSR, I let her know I had standing water in the basement, I was told their technician could do it, upon arrival when I took him to the basement, he said he couldn't work on the drain, because of the standing water (???) I still had to pay $98 to be told this, they were very nice and professional, I was told once the the water was extracted, then the drain could be worked on. I can only assume plumbers have limits on what they're allowed to do..A week later...Management called, was apologeticrefunded my money promptly.,
Patrick was knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and kindly tolerated my noisy dogs. His findings were well explained and suggestions were offered for the issues found in the inspection. Repair prices were on the higher end, but you get what you pay for.
Aaron was our technician for a yearly cleaning of our Lochinvar boiler. He was efficient, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. The boiler has been functioning without problems since it was installed several years ago. We are pleased that LBA continues to take good care of both our heating and cooling systems. Also a shout out to Rusty, who solved a mysterious and disruptive motor hum for us, for which we continue to be grateful.

It was great working with LBA. I had the pipe bursting done and they took extra care to make sure the damage to the basement and yard were minimal. They also left everything clean as could. Will definitely call them back next time I need plumbing work.

Visit by technician was comical, going to be outrageously expensive and all though detailed work order submitted supplies were not brought. I would never use or recommend LBA.To be fair, we did not use their service and can not speak to the quality as others have stated in their reviews.Our work requests were to (1) install a gas line from attached garage to laundry room and have connections for a gas dryer and (2) While on site, I decided to have them quote a fixing a toilet that has a small leak between the bowl and tank. Assuming that it would be a small add on to a larger project and they were already on site.The estimates were outrageous. Almost $1,000 for the gas line and several hundred for toilet. Plus, the icing on the cake is paying for the estimates. I am not advocating that they should not charge something but almost $100 to spend less than 30 minutes is excessive.Hopefully they are a great company and we just had a bad experience.Tony
I'm irritated. I maintain my HVAC system twice a year religiously. LBA installed my system 17 years ago, and it has worked and been maintained twice a year. At my most recent maintenance check in mid-December 2022, I was told that the heat exchanger was beginning to rust, and I was shown a photo of a very few patches of rust. While I was also told that there was no immediate danger, I was encouraged to think about replacing the system. And to encourage me further, the technician told me prices were going up 30 to 60% at the first of the year. That price increase amount seemed unlikely, given that inflation is only at 7% - but it did get my attention. And if created fear.For the record, I did get three bids on a new system, and one came from LBA. LBA's bid was several thousand dollars higher than the others. I'm writing today because my new system is being installed - not by LBA. The installing technician pointed out to me that there is literally no rust at all in the old heat exchanger. I feel like I was lied to in order to make a sale.Granted, I realize that 17 years is a long life for a modern HVAC, but I feel like HVAC companies in general take advantage of customers' ignorance by upcharging and/or using scare tactics. Since LBA is not installing my new system, and since I feel like I was mistreated, future maintenance will be done by another company - so someone else will have the opportunity to mistreat a customer.

Joe was very professional and did a great job clearing our drain.
The pipe from my washer was clogged and it caused water to come out of the seem of a utility sink downspout. Technician removed the pipe that was clogged and re-routed to remove the clog. A lot less pipe now, too! Looks better!

Pleasure to have LBA Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing servicing my air and heat units.
My friend used this company on 11/13/22, it appeared that the issue with the heatingunit was fixed, but by Tuesday the problem perpetuated. She called for an appointment and was told that they had no available revving to repair a job that she had already paid$562 to fix. She is expected to sit in a home overnight with no heat. I explained to them that she is battling a severe illness and that still did not make her a priority. I'm angered behind the lack of attends to her issue.

Rating is for technician Andrew Peterson, An after hours weekend call, Andrew handled the late call to repair our furnace, which had stopped generating heat on a 7 degree night the repair wasn't a cheap visit but he was quick and handled the job professionally. New Review! Lauren came out to tune up my AC, and Phil and Austin were here working on my plumbing (new water heater, new garbage disposal, new pressure valve into the house, new toilet) all day. They were all great! All the LBA staff are so nice, very professional, and easy to work with. LBA Super Plumber, Rich, just helped us problem solve 2 issues. He was at our house for over 2 hours and took everything apart to get to the bottom of our problem. Not once did he act impatient at the extra long service call and he couldn't have been more accommodating. It was evident to my husband and I that he was more knowledgeable than other plumbers who we have used. We now know what the problem was and we are grateful!!!

Andrew the repair person showed up did an assessment and provided me with options to for maintenance as well as what to expect in the future. Took longer than told. Wasn't told that 3/4 of yard would get tore up. Broke railing around pool. I had to call city to find out what's going on so my septic could be decommissioned. Should have been project manager's job. Took over month to complete. No very happy with Company. People who worked here were great.
We needed a gas line extended to our kitchen so that we could swap in a new gas range. We had had some rather unhappy interactions with three other major HVAC/Plumbing companies, so I was hoping for the best when I contacted LBA. They were able to quickly schedule Kent to come out and provide an estimate for the gas line job (along with a minor plumbing task repair). The price was agreeable, and Kent was very professional, thorough, and polite. The job was done right, and I have full confidence in the work and the materials. I can definitely recommend LBA based on this experience.

Performed a whole house plumbing check that is included as part of our service plan.
The tech was very friendly and worked hard to get the job done. Lba prices are outragous i was charged 400$ for labor on work that would only take 1hr. A doctor doesnt even make that much an hour
Pat was professional and straight forward. Unfortunately, the pricing was still a bit high for what we were willing to pay for hydro jetting cleaning.

The second person did nothing, but try to sell me a $2000+ option to put valves in, when I told him the gurgling didn't start until after the first snaking. Joseph was honest about the fact that a hydro cleaning may be needed.

I had a great experience when Zach came to do a seasonal maintenance check on my furnace. He was very polite and extremely informative in answering my questions - as well as telling me things that I didn't even know to ask about. Honestly, I have been using LBA for a couple years now and they are always great to work with. Last night my A/C stopped working and I called at 3 am to try to get something set up for this weekend since it was supposed to be over 95 all weekend long. The called me at 730 Saturday morning and let me know someone would be at my house to help by 9. Jeremy was there earlier than 9 and had the house cooling off before 9:30. Awesome service is an understatement!

The experience overall was decent but way too pricey. Told me because I have an old house, and no way to access the main drain they have to pull one of my toilets to snake it. He did a great job. With their “family plan” it was 600 bucks? ( to clean a main drain. ) oh but if I had an access point it would have been $89.00. If we didn’t sign up for their “Family Plan” the pulling of the toilet and cleaning the drain would have been 1000.00 bucks ? So I paid the 600 dollars for 1 hour of work. So I liked everything but the ridiculous prices. :). The gentleman did a great job. Unfortunately due to the price I won’t likely use them again.

We had to replace both our upstairs and downstairs furnaces and Jeremy, Jacob, Ezra and Kevin were all fantastic! Personable, got the job done in a timely manner and left the area in our storage room where they were working even cleaner and tidier than before they came! I had made an appointment for a Friday morning at 8:00 am. At 8:15 I called the office and asked if I had misheard the time for my appointment. I was told my service person had just dropped by the office for some equipment he would need for the day. I got an email at 8:51 telling us he was on the way and at 9:05 he knocked on our door. I am a stickler for time; I should send this company a bill for the hour and five minutes of my time they wasted today.

Corbin came to our home to do the annual plumbing inspection. This is a service that's included with our maintenance contract. He found a couple of areas for us to consider having replacement work done and provided an estimate for those services. He also gave us information on new products that we can use to maintain drains throughout the house to avoid future problems. He educated us on how to perform certain checks ourselves and what to look for BEFORE issues might occur. We have used LBA for many projects over the years and trust their skill, expertise and service responsiveness. They can send Corbin to our home every time in the future! Thank you!

Very impressed with Austin. We have water leaking from the basement ceiling. Austin tried everything possible to locate the problem. I seriously don't think he would of left our houses until he found the leak. Problem was found but unfortunately the source is from a new shower installation. Austin was Very professional and courteous. Fare pricing as well. Communications about the price of the job was very clear.. definitely use your company again.

A/C blower fan was rattling. I was concerned that it was going to be an expensive problem but Aaron was quick to assure me that it was just loose (and probably not completely tightened when the motor was replaced before --- by another company). He fixed the issue and then inspected the unit outside and notified me that it needed a cleaning/tuneup. I purchased the LBA maintenance package on the spot.I was very pleased with his work and will use LBA for all my future HVAC and plumbing needs.

The LBA Services team is the best. They came out to home, correctly diagnosed the problem with my air conditioning system and repaired it at a reasonable cost. I will be calling LBA again for any future air conditioning, heating and plumbing services.
I purchased a new building for my business and inherited a HVAC system that I knew nothing about. Soon it started failing. I called LBA and the sent out a technician. He fixed the issues, evaluated the system, and gave me a sense of what to expect over the lifetime of this unit. When it does finally hit end of life, I know who I will trust to fix me up with a new system. LBA built a lot of trust with me, glad to know I have them in my corner.

Would not trust or recommend LBA Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing! We had a very disappointing experience with LBA regarding a requested sewer cleaning. Not only did they not complete the job that was requested in a satisfactory manner they then told us our sewer line was broken and needed a $6000 repair. Thankfully we had advice from an independent inspector who said it was not broken and not to do the repair. After another company came to clean the sewer line we had a camera inspection and determine the line was not broken and we didn't need a repair. They would have taken our $6000 to break the sewer line themselves and we wouldn't have known the difference!! Don't use this company!

Working with Scott and Jim has been fantastic. Scott has been very informative about the entire process as well as knowledgeable about the technology/equipment. I met Jim yesterday when he and his assistant were wrapping up for the day. We are having Mitsubishi mini-split systems installed and he walked me around the house and explained what they had done, what we could do when we get drywall installed/finished, etc. It's been great!
Noah from LBA came out multiple times. First time was to find and fix a leak from a upstairs line to shower / toilet. Also fixed a small water heater issue (expansion tank). He was able to find the leak after quite a bit of looking and capped off the line very well to stop the water damage from continuing. I thought the work from the first time was so good that I had him come out the second time to fix the line to the upstairs. He had to remove some bathroom tile to get to the line to replace and made a very good hole in the tile that should be able to be replaced with a minimum of cost. The work to redo the line to the upstairs bathroom was exceptionally done. I am 100% positive if he had done the work in the first place I would have never needed service.Overall very professional, great service, prompt service. Might not be the cheapest out there but, worth a little more $$$ to have it done right.

After having LBA out 3 times this summer, it seems that we may havefinally resolved the issue of way to much humidity in the house! It went from 80% Tuesday, Sept 3 to 50% last night, Sept 4th. I'm not sure why it took so long to figure this out, but between Jason (?) who was there to repair and seal the original AC/heat ducts and called Pat McGlynn out to check the plumbing, I think we've addressed all the problems (I hope!!)Thank you to both of these men for finally looking around and finding solutions for the problems they spotted!!!!

Hunter was one of the best servicemen I have had in my home. He was training a new guy and was so good about explaining everything to him. My reason for the service call was for a leaking valve on the line going into my water heater. It was the most simple fix, tightening a nut. I was embarrassed that I didn't know to do that, but he was great about it. Rather than just charging me and being on his way, he offered to check anything else with my plumbing. He helped educate me on all of my water lines and valves and what they were for. He checked my sump pump that was questionable after the runs we had a few weeks ago. He explained how all of that type of system works. He really earned his money on that call and was so professional throughout it all! I would want Hunter specifically to come back when my water heater needs to be changed which could be soon.Cont'd from 2nd visit, this time for heating and airI could not be more impressed with LBA as a company and the employees it hires and how they train them. This was the second visit in one day from LBA. The first was for plumbing, the second was with Nick and Jesse for my heating and air inspection. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and even offered to tale my 40lb salt bags downstairs for my softener! Then they also offered and changed my water treatment filters which is not at all in their scope of work, but we're truly here to help me out. They found some problems with my system, trouble shooted with Nest about my thermostat, etc. Found out that Jesse was the one who had been servicing this home far before I moved in, was back several years! It was good to know that he had such loyalty to the company and been on the job for so long. I will absolutely use LBA for every need I have that they can do. I wish every company was this good!
Twice they have started a job and left us hanging without heat or air. Once because they never showed back up. Once because their price to finish was so high we had to look elsewhere, Don't waste your time like I did.
We have always had good experiences with LBA. They installed our heaters/AC and water heaters. We just called them out for a service charge on a condensation pump. They gave us about 5 options (upcharges) for different things. My only negative here was that i felt they were way overpriced. The tech (Andrew Graves) was amazing though, the service was fast and efficient and we know from experience they do good work.
The crew that came to service my home went above and beyond. There's not enough stars 🤩 to rate them Susan, Levine, Jacob ,John, and Jackson did a superb job. I want them in my fighting hole. They were very professional and explained everything to me no matter what it was. I just recommend your services to my neighbor. I appreciate everything that was done by the crew you sent here. My AC went out on a Friday night. I called Saturday morning and was able to speak to someone right away. They asked if I needed a tech that day or Monday, I opted for Monday. They called me to confirm Monday morning and Eli was on time, professional and courteous. They even sent his photo in an email to know who to look for. He was very thorough and knew what he was doing. 100% what I would expect for service and would absolutely recommend this company, glad to have their service.
I needed my outside condenser coils cleaned. Called to find out if it was included in their A/C tune up and was told it was not and would be an additional charge. Asked for a ballpark figure on the additional charge and was told they could not give me that answer. However, for $89 they could send someone out to give me a quote. Seems ridiculous that they would not give me a ballpark for the service and calling other companies it appears they include the service with their tune ups. I ended up going with Davenport Service Co. They were able to answer my questions and give me ballpark figures on costs.
Iggy our service tech was awesome in servicing our central air. He explained throughly the process, how long it would take and suggestions to keep our central air in tip top shape. Definitely will ask for Iggy again on my next service!
The fan in our AC unit went out during a heat advisory. LBA had someone out to us quickly and Jesse did a great job informing us what the issue was/fixing it. Would recommend them to others and will use them in the future.

You wanted over $500 to take less than hour to replace a $20 part (a thermocouple for my water heater). Alternatively, you wanted over $1400 to replace the water heater (and that was your LOWEST price. You had FAR pricier options). I got it done by a reputable company for less than $1100. I won't be using your service again and I will be alerting people online. It was a waste of time and $89 to have you guys come out.

Actively made my issues worse, did not clean the mess they made, and still wanted to charge me for incomplete work. Would definitely recommend other KC services as LBA is overpriced for such low quality work. Every step of the process I was up-charged, though to be fair, the issue kept unravelling as more time went on. I was still able to take care of the problem with another service for over half the price with more experienced plumbers.
Jim and his team arrived as scheduled, were well briefed on the job and finished earlier than I expected. They gave me updates on their progress and spent time showing me how to operate the new system. A pleasure to have in my house.
Rylan was very courteous and professional. He explained the problem with our A/C unit well and gave me an idea of what is will cost to replace as needed.

I have used LBA for over a decade. Three years ago they installed a new Lennox system. Today we had a warranty issue repaired for the second time in two years. Erikk the technician was professional and knowlegeable. My dissatisfaction is that the warranty repair took 15 minutes and I was charged $231 for the labor only, and this is the second time. I am a contractor and understand that there are hidden costs to doing business and I don't fault LBA for trying to make a living. This repair however goes well beyond my definition of making a living to taking advantage of the customer. I contacted Zack about the charge and he informed me that the repair was a flat rate and could not do anything about it. Treat a customer right and they will return. abuse them and???

Rusty was very helpful and so professional when he performed the spring tune up/check on my AC before summer arrived. I really appreciate how the LBA techs are always so careful not to track anything in my house and they always clean up any mess after they finish! Rusty told me about each step of the process and explained his findings so even I could understand. He found one little concern but said it really wasn't urgent at this time. We use LBA for all of our HVAC and plumbing because they consistently do such good work. Jack, Jake and Ezra did a fabulous job installing new AC and furnace for us. Our house is 90 years old so they had to build some custom ducting to connect the new furnace to the house's vents along with all of the ordinary issues that come up when dealing with an older house. I was impressed by the quality of the work throughout.

Jeremy with LBA came out to look at the A/C after it stopped working a few days prior. Was originally scheduled for an afternoon appointment but the LBA office called to offer an earlier slot when another job finished early, which was nice as the summer temperature is rising. Jeremy was knowledgeable and experienced and quickly identified the issue and addressed it without charging or quoting for unnecessary repairs that were quoted elsewhere. Saved money and time, and I learned how to better care for the heater and A/C with some advice as well. Very satisfied.

Tried to kick on the furnace for the first time this season only to find that the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. In our attempts to troubleshoot for ourselves we noticed a few other issues and decided we needed to call some Pros.While the findings weren't what we hoped, we also weren't surprised. Basically, the furnace was DOA. We estimated it had to be 40+ years old because we're buying the house I grew up in from my mom, and I know it was not been replaced in over 30 years. Yeah, we knew it had outlived it's time. We went with the dual replacement and include the AC, too (cause it was no spring chicken either).Overall, we had to spend far more money than we were looking to spend anytime soon (which is NOT LBA's fault at all, that's just the nature of the industry), but we were able to finance the full cost which obviously helps a LOT. We also know we wouldn't have been able to do with many other places.We were visited by Nick, Scott, and Joe, and one other tech whose name I didn't get, but EVERYONE we were in contact with was fabulous, from start to finish.They even visited us even though we're just past their typical service area (in Oak Grove, MO) because of the details we shared about the furnace. We are not disappointed and hope LBA will consider providing us service even after our 10yr warranty on our new system is up!

Even though our furnace maintenance was on the calendar with LBA we had an issue with the furnace a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday that required an emergency call...thankful to have the service plan. Chris was the technician that came out on the Saturday and he called his office to rework his schedule so he could also do the maintenance service since he was familiar with the previous concerns. Kudos to Chris for his awesome customer service and care!
Had a shower not reaching hot enough water temperature to be comfortable, so the plumber changed the shower cartridge out and flushed my tankless water heater. Andrew Duquesne, plumber from LBA did an amazing job.
Prompt, professional, got my A/C up and running 4.5 hours after I made the first phone call, on a Sunday. Expensive, but that's understandable!Also used them for plumbing, to install a new water heater.

We've been trying to figure out the best way to cool the upstairs in our turn-of-the-century house, in addition to replacing our old downstairs A/C unit for many years. The bids we received were either too expensive or we felt didn't meet our needs. LBA got us the right bid with the right plan. The installers were prompt and professional and did great work. They replaced the heating and AC unit. They were punctual and completed both instillations in about five and a half hours. They cleaned everything up when they were done, and were very pleasant all day. It was a good experience.

Very disappointed, mostly to the price, I was quoted around $89.00 to just snake the drain which included trip charge. When he arrived right at 09:00 he had a list of quotes ranging fro 240.00 up to over 600.00 just to snake a drain , meaning kitchen sink he spent all of around 20 mins working in an area that was all set for him including a surge protector and the u-joint and drain line already removed, I was not happy with the amount. but he was already there and I wasn't going to send him away by paying 89.00 for trip charge and diagnostic when he never even looked under the sink. But I blame myself for not being patient, see I had already snaked that line but probably just not far enough. Oh well!!Then he turned around and offer a AC and heating pkg to go along w/ it for over 800.00. NO THANK YOU :(
Took a deal for a Spring HVAC maintenance service on my system for just $47 and was very happy with my service. Omar came out, was on time, very informative and took his time listening to my concerns regarding my system and helping me find solutions. A good tech really makes all the difference! Justin was most efficient in checking our entire plumbing system and making recommendations for repairs and upgrades. He promptly cleaned our sewer connection and was most courteous throughout his visit.
Always great service with LBA. No difficulty obtaining an appointment at a time that works for me. Pricing is reasonable and work completed in a timely fashion. Both Mike, the plumber, and Mike, the HVAC guy, have educated me and provided advice and recommendations for the future which is appreciated. Definitely my go to for HVAC & plumbing work..And 3 years later -----service is no longer there. Have had 2 appointments cancelled with less than 60 minutes notice; the most recent one yesterday. I need dependable service providers --- that is no longer LBA.

LBA replaced the HVAC and water heater in my small ranch in 2015. The mechanical equipment is situated in a small closet in the garage. It's a really tight space, and I knew going into this project whoever did the work would have to be really top notch installers. I obtained 6 bids, & did a lot of research. I chose LBA based on price, customer ratings, and company reputation. LBA's crew did a phenomenal job-- Bill (the system designer), and Jim, Jeremy, and Greg (the installers). They really had a lot to deal with and came up with solutions on the spot. They patiently answered all my questions during the process. The final result is a system expertly installed. The space was so clean that when they left you couldn't tell they were even here. I had no prior experience with LBA, and hoped I'd made the right choice. I certainly did. It says a lot when the company owner (J. D.) performs the final inspection. Thanks, LBA!

Nick was professional and nice.But, he could not tune up my old A/C. He said that the Freon for my AC, was not made anymore. I think all he did was just use my garden hose to wash some dirt off the AC?Then he wanted to charge me $130for the tune-up which couldn't be done. I told him when I called, someone said there was a $49 special for AC tune-ups.Since no real tune-up was done even charging me $47 was too much for nothing.He mentioned that if I didn't replacemy unit soon, it would cost me hundreds of dollars more if I waited too long.I really don't like the hard sale speech! I just want my machine fixed. A year ago, I had a guy from Mr Sparky out to check a kitchen light. Then he wanted to see my breaker box in the garage. He said it was old, and advised to get it replaced for $4,000! He warned me that if I didn't do that, my house would catch fire someday soon.I've lived here since 1993 and have never had a fire. Look, I'm semi retired with a limited income I don't think it's right to scare senior citizens like myself in order for your business to make a sale.I'd love to be able to afford a new AC and furnace combo, but not right now.

I have used this company quite a bit over the last 8 years or so. They are consistently professional well beyond expectations. They show up when they say they will and they stay until the job is done. They have strict requirements for attire and professional conduct that really set them apart from the competition. They also send you an email with the repair person's picture and a short bio for safety purposes once a service professional has been dispatched. Today, Angelina was dispatched to my home to handle two leaky faucets in my master shower. She was exceptional and went to great lengths to make sure the work was done correctly and to my satisfaction. She was polite, kind, and considerate. When the technician came out, he showed different plans we could pick from, we picked the one with the 18 month guarantee. When the second guy came out, I think his name was Pat, he went in our basement and used the camera to see how far the drain was backed up. Then after they already took our money, Pat said he would only come one time time if we had any more trouble in 18 months. We feel like they took advantage of us, $955.00 does not grow on trees. Last year we spent $2, 800 to them the same place in our basement the last of November. We feel they are very dishonest, why did it say on the first deal on their tablet they showed us a 18 months guarantee and then they say we need a whole new sewer so they will only come back one time without a charge. Is their word no good? How could anyone trust them to do a honest job?
Nick and David returned a few days later when the condensing unit fan motor began running intermittently and the house began heating up. The fan motor needed to be replaced so they gave me a price for that and for replacing the unit and coil. Again, they were very professional and did the work quickly.

WE have had good experience for many years from LBA. As regular customers we get priority service. and appreciate them very much. Being able to depend on them is an important service for us.
I got home and my AC wasn't working. Of course it was after hours. I called and was able to speak to a live person. She assured me that someone would be able to come first thing in the morning. (She asked if I wanted someone to come that night but I told her I could make it through the night.) I received a call at 8a.m letting me know the tech would be here in 30 minutes. He was able to track down the problem and repair it before it was too hot. Than you.
They always go above and beyond - fixing everything that we needed while explaining what's going on so that we can understand our system and what's happening to it. They also really try to keep the costs to a minimum as much as possible, without cutting corners. Everyone we've ever worked with at LBA has been super friendly and nice. We'll never call the other guys again!

I had them out today 11-6-2021. The technicon they sent out was named Patrick. He was both polite and professional. He took his time doing the work and toughly checking each Heat Pump and Blower out.He also did a good job explaining the maintenance program to me and I argreed to sign up for it.I also feel considering the amount of work and time spent the price to very reasonable.I would recommend LBA and Patrick if you need any work done.

I was a long time customer (probably 15 years) of LBA. They had replaced my two heat pumps several years ago. On July 3 I had a large pool of water in my basement which was near my heat pump. Due to the size of the pool of water I was not sure if it was coming from my heat pump or a possible plumbing issue. Due to the uncertainty of the source I called LBA because they have technicians who work on both. I did not realize at the time that the techs do not work on both. When I called I was told someone would come out but they were charging Holiday rates. The rate just to walk through our door was $179. At the time I felt like I had few choices as I did not know if many service companies would be open. The technician came out and looked. He determined it was from the heat pump and then told us he only worked on plumbing issues. He told my husband he would send out a HVAC technician and they would not charge us the fee for this tech to come out. He called his office and gave them an update. At this point he came back and told us he was wrong and the office said they WOULD be charging us the $179 service fee a SECOND time.About two minutes after he left he came back to our door (without his face mask this time) and said he could hold up his phone and try to have the HVAC tech walk him through a repair! He had already said he did not know how to fix the problem. We politely declined and immediately called a Parkville heating company and made a pact never to call LBA again! Another technician easily fixed the problem (NOT on a holiday rate) and said even a tech should've been able to fix that.
Scott was on time, very knowledgeable, and very professional. I have always enjoyed working with LBA and look forward to finalizing a preventative HVAC maintenance program with them for my commercial office and Research & Development lab.

Angelena Graybill was a joy. Very professional and friendly. She explained all the work and the costs prior to beginning. The disposal replacement called for a complete reworking/install of all the PVC and the end result was a thing of beauty. The toilet repair was simply a leaking tank screw (versus my initial suspicion of the wax ring). Angelena performed all the work very quickly and I couldn't be happier. I called back, I believe last Monday, and the man that answered said a note had been sent to a supervisor to call me...still no call. Eli Mann came out 11/29/19 to see why our furnace wasn't putting out hot air. We had previously turned the thermostat up several degrees with no luck. We turned the furnace off by using the switch mounted on the outside of the furnace. We put thermostat on Heat, then off, then emergency heat, all with no luck. That's when we called LBA. Just prior to Eli getting here, the furnace started working again. Eli checked out the unit and couldn't find the problem. He asked if it happened again and someone could make it out in enough time that we could get by without heat, to leave the furnace off and maybe the technician could figure out the problem and there wouldn't be another $59 charge. Eli was very nice and we appreciate his coming out in a relatively short time.Nick Larkins went above and beyond in finding the problem with our heating system and also took care of our Humidifier. Please forgive me for taking so long to post this review. I have a tendency to keep putting things off.Nick Larkins serviced our heating and airconditioning 5/21/20. We feel confident with his recommendations and the service he provides. We give him a 5 * rating.
Chris the technician found my pipe to the external faucet had a leak and immediately informed me and turned off the hydrant. I had my handyman come and he found a 1 inch pipe opening in the hydrant pipe! Chris did a great job at finishing tuning up my air conditioner and washing off the debris it had accumulated with a long hose he had that stretched around my home from a working hydrant. He was professional and thorough in completing the work and I very much appreciated his kind and able help!
Humidifier was leaking contacted LBA sent out service technician earlier in December of 2021 leaking did not stop contacted end of December for follow up repair technician showed up as scheduled and blamed another HVAC company as I would not have left that valve that far open completed the repair and charged for a service call. Should have been covered under first repair

While attempting to repair my a/c condenser, I was stymied, needing my mother to be comfortable I called LBA to find the problem. Nick was prompt and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly. I dinged him down to one star for the comment he made when I said I would pay his diagnostic trip charge and finish the repairs myself. He stated Well, I don't make any money then. I was offended that he would say such a thing, the company flat-rate was $367 to replace a $15 contactor! I replaced it in 10 minutes. I'm sorry I can't afford to throw away $350 so you can make a percentage of it.

The experience with LBA is always good, but I will say that I think the menagerie of packages the company has set up to sell services is bad for business. Personally, I would like to the what my part costs and what the labor costs on my service. Selling these packages is just assuming your customers are to ignorant to comprehend the jargon OR is a game of hide the numbers. Not revealing how much your component parts are and what your charging to diagnose and install them on an invoice is BAD business.

Needed service on our furnace and A/C which had stopped working. Set up appointment online and was able to chat with an associate at 10:30 PM to confirm. Appointment was then further confirmed the next day at 8:00 Am by telephone and a technician was with us by 10 AM. Never used LBA before, but went with them as our regular service house appears closed due to pandemic and good reviews of LBA online.Service reviews were correct and I cannot fault the time and effort spent to resolve the issue. Andrew and Lauren properly diagnosed the issue, checked the components for other issues and fully tested the system prior to sign off. No hard sells and just good service.Thanks from happy customers.

2022.06 - Thankfully, our AC gave us a little warning before totally shutting down on us. We had techs out on Thursday to check it out. Did a thorough inspection and determined it was going to need a pretty expensive repair on a fairly old system. We asked about replacement, and the next day we had a salesman out to go over options. Monday, they put the new system in. Had to do some custom duct work around the air exchanger, ran new water lines to the humidifier unit we added on, and installed a fancy new thermostat. Took longer than they anticipated (old houses are full of surprises) but they refused to rush things and did a very professional, top-notch job. Still doing the initial cool-down of the house, but it's already feeling great in here.2023.05 - New round of house updates and the bath faucet and handles were on deck. Jonathan was on time, clearly communicated the situation after digging in and seeing what was up, and ran out to pick up the needed hardware. All told, only took about two hours and we're very happy with the work and clean-up.
We are very happy with LBA's service. Rusty quickly solved our problem of no heat coming from the furnace with a new part!Excellent service and customer care.

LBA came out to replace our gas water heater. We wanted to do this more as an upgrade rather than out of pure necessity. They were able to schedule the install 3 days later and first thing in the morning. There was a mechanical difficulty, and we were without hot water for a brief 7 hour period. However, LBA came back to replace the water heater and get our hot water working again. Thank you LBA! Kent was great to work with and even with the mechanical problem wanted to make sure the system was working properly. Nick came out the next day and replaced the water heater. Thank you both!

Jack and Jakob did a great job fixing our leak. They were both efficient courteous and professional.
The two men who came to do our estimate were fantastic. They were professional, polite, and they went above and beyond to find the best and cheapest solution to our issue. We've had multiple professionals look at our HVAC system with no real solutions. Alek and his partner James (or Jake?) even found a few ways to help cool down the office in the meantime while we work on a long term solution. I would recommend LBA to anyone looking for a company who will find the solution best for the customer, not just the company's profit. So far we have not had any actual work done so I cannot speak to that, but I got way more than i expected out of a consultation, so I will definitely be using LBA if we go ahead with the project.

Daniel Aguilar came to fix my old a/c unit after days of my family and I trying to stay cool in the basement. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. LBA has an excellant staff of qualified and professional employees. The last visit, #176 Eric T., was for routine maintenance. Eric did a thorough job of explaining the process and gave me a dead on estimation of the amount of time it would take. I had several plumbing and heating questions that Eric kindly listened to and offered sound advice. LBA always does an excellent job of contacting me to let me know the tech is on his way. Their staff is always kind and professional. As a transplanted Kansan, it can be very difficult to find quality services that you can trust and rely on. LBA is top notch. Drew came and determined we needed a new (AC) - not the news we wanted to hear ,of course - however, that same day, Scott came and we selected a Lennox unit, same size as what they installed 11 years earlier in our home. Technician arrived as scheduled and went through all plumbing areas checking off each element to check as he went along. He was relatively new and his supervisor came to check and advise. He carefully went through each item and explained and taught in a very professional and friendly manner.Estimates were provided for all services recommendations.We had a clogged drain in the kitchen and the technician cleared it at no charge.We were completely satisfied with their visit.

I called the main number to get a ballpark number to install a gas line for my kitchen stove. They refused to provide any information at all, not even a spectrum of what it typically costs, unless I scheduled an $89 consultation visit. I just wanted to know if it would be more or less than $500 and they wouldn't say. Very unhelpful. Next company I called gave me useful numbers over the phone based on past experiences and things that might increase or decrease the price - not firm quotes of course, just helpful guidance.
I see a recent review posted from someone who's heater went out on one of the coldest nights of the year and they had a great experience. I too had my heater go out on one of the coldest nights of the year, while I was out of town at that. I had a much different experience than they did and even from my previous experiences with LBA. A few years ago I had my AC go out in the summer. I called a few companies got some ballpark pricing and went with LBA who was fast, responsive and got a new unit installed at a reasonable price. We were so pleased we regularly purchased their service plan that includes annual maintenance visits and discounts on after hours emergency calls. So when my heat went out it was a no brainer that we called LBA for the repair.We were out of town when I got the alert from my thermostat that the temp was crashing in my house. We cut short our trip and drove home. By the time we got home it was late in the evening and the house was down to 49 degrees and continuing to dive. The outside temps were in the single digits and forecast to be zero. My amateur diagnosis was the igniter had gone out. We called LBA who had a tech call a short time later. While he was professional enough, the message I got was clear. He didn’t want to come out and suggested that if we waited till morning the call would more likely be able to be resolved and be much cheaper. No doubt those things were true, but I explained the house was already very chilly and with the temperatures forecast for record lows I didn’t want to risk frozen pipes nor practice my cold weather camping skills in my house. He advised he wasn’t very far geographically and would be over shortly. Later that evening he arrived and stated he was not familiar with my specific heater as he did not work a lot on Carrier equipment. From the his first glance at my heater he stated I likely would need a new one. This was before he had even popped off the cover. I pressed him to see what was the issue on this one and in the end he diagnosed it as a bad igniter. He advised that my heater was very old (it is) and that he likely did not have the correct part. Nor did he recommend spending money on the heater in any event, we should invest in a new heater.While my heater is old, I knew that the ignitor, should I purchase from an online retailer was a $30 part. I expected a service call with after hours emergency labor to be expensive, so I did not expect to pay anywhere near that form a professional tech, certainly I would pay a premium but we needed heat now, not in 2-3 days when I could likely the part delivered.The tech stated he could go to his van and check to see if he had a suitable part if I really wanted and started working on his tablet to punch up the estimated repair cost. It was over $500 with no warranty. Other options (gold level service?) were even pricier. He went out to look for the part, which he didn’t have anyway but he cheerfully advised that they could be back out first thing in the morning to put a new heater in for $3000-$4000 depending on what choices we wanted to go with. I thanked him, paid for his service call and called a different company.They came out at 10:00pm that evening, diagnosed a bad ignitor, put a new one in in all in less than 10 minutes. My heat was restored for well under $200 (parts, labor and trip charge). The second company also stated my heater is old, explained specifically what the concerns with it were and recommended replacing it much sooner rather than later. But they also knew I needed heat that night and didn’t try to sell me one right there. I will be getting a new heater, but not from LBA. While the LBA tech was always professional and courteous, his mindset was from the beginning just to put in a new heater. When it is zero degrees, maybe put a little more effort into helping people get heat for the night.
Patrick took time with us to explain our system and all of the options. He even humored me in a conversation about how boilers worked in the 1950s- lol! We decided a boiler is not the way to go *insert sarcasm*. He was very laid back, extremely professional, detailed, and we didn't feel rushed to make a decision immediately. He presented us with estimates on the spot and then emailed them to us as well. he even brought treats for the dogs! *@$MAJOR BONUS POINTS
We've used LBA since 2009 and have overall been very happy. Michael has serviced our AC/heating and also done troublshooting. Austin and Angelina have done a lot of plumbing work, too, and the quality is always excellent and they're super nice and professional. On the dispatch side, everyone is great. Uniformly, everyone is nice and professional. We know when we call, we can get someone out fairly quickly. LBA is not cheap but this is an industry where you get what you pay for. We often need fast, punctual, and often same-day. We understand that means things cost more, but we accept that as part of it instead of trying to go back and forth ten times to get someone out for a fix (tried that a few times). We highly recommend LBA.

Scott came out and gave us a quote on a new A/C and Heating system. He told us the best options for our home, talked about pricing and financing and we did not feel pressured at all (except to get an outdoor flat top griddle ;) lol!). He was extremely thorough and brought a personal touch that seems to be missing these days. Scott was great!Then Jeremy and Micah did the installation just a few days later. They were very professional and gave that same personal touch I mentioned above. Once they were completely finished with the install, we were walked through every thing and told about how it all works. Love the new thermostat by the way, it's easy to use (thanks to Jeremy's tutorial). One of the best parts of the day was that after they left, there was no extra clean up on our part. Less than a year ago I new kitchen counters installed which necessitatedreplumbing under the sink which was done by my contractor. A new sink required a reconfiguration of the under sink plumbing. This was done by the contractor whose area of expertise did not include plumbing. The result was the faucet became extremely loose and the dishwasher did not drain properly. Enter Noah who didn't say anything about what he saw but I could tell he was appalled. He pointed out what was wrong, gave me an estimate on how to make things right and worked his magic in a most professional manner. Thank you, Noah.

The Lennox product from LBA , I bought in 2013 has given me nothing but problems these past 2 years. I had to pay $746 on May 7, 2020 to fix a leak only to have to pay another $1000 on August 4, 2020 for another leak (this time in the coil). The only problem I have is that the company doesn't have a better warranty on service calls. I didn't think that I should have to pay for another flush and refill of freon since I had to pay it in May. The only reason I went with LBA was because they were rated the best back in 2013.The service tech (David Ruiz) was so very polite and professional. I hope that he goes far in the company. He made me feel like I can give the company another chance. Hopefully, LBA will come up with a better plan on having discounts or long term service contracts so people don't have to pay over and over for freon leaks.

LBA services called me(to promote their $47 tune-up service), but this quickly turned into finding faults in a system that was working perfectly, and then it gets worse when they attempt to upsell me products and criticize my heating system, so I can replace the entire HVAC system, saying it's at its lifetime.My system was working fine when they came, but when the technician left, I was busy but we set it at 70 deg F. However, later that night, it felt so cold, but the system was dead silent, and at that time I realized I had a big problem. The temp was showing 69 degrees F. The system had never stalled on me since 2015 when I bought the house, with the only correlation being that LBA services got involved within the previous 12-24 hours. I went to the HVAC system to check whether the switch was left off, and it was on but was not running.When I asked them to fix their mess, they shamelessly gave me a quote, which was double the cost of repair, and they disingenuously and without remorse asked me to pay half which since they doubled was the full price anyway.And when I was taking the new repairman who came to fix the mess, I established that the filter which had been billed as a central act of the tune-up, had not been replaced either. It appears that their business strategy involves exploiting the tune-up service to identify and take advantage of issues, resulting in my heating system breaking down until I found another service to repair it - costing me additional money and taking away two days of work. I feel terrible for other homeowners who may have fallen victim to this metro-wide scam.

Nathaniel was very nice, respectful and did his best to help me. However he was very incorrect in his assessment. The part i had was not broken and does have a bit of a rattle to it if shaken. After consulting a plumbing supply guy, i was able to use the original part and so far it seems to have worked. the fast response was great, but otherwise this service was not helpful.

The workers were all courteous and helpful, even pointing out areas where we need to install carbon monoxide detectors, and notifying us of an unrelated leak they'd located. I highly recommend LBA. We contacted LBA on a Saturday, they came out that day to check our A/C out. Since we have an alternate cooling source, we scheduled an appointment with the technician for Monday. The tech came over first thing Monday morning, and had our A/C running pretty quick.Neither the estimator nor the technician tried to sell us unnecessary stuff, both were very polite and professional.We won't hesitate to call LBA when we need work done again.
As usual, LBA’s service is top notch; no BS, they just get the job done correctly. We’ve done a lot of business with LBA and have never been disappointed.
The technicians who do the work are always efficient, and personable.
Pat called and came at the scheduled time for the quoting process of our water heater replacement. He was very knowledgable and friendly. The price was a little higher than some of the competitors and we chose a different option.

I had LBA install a heater and AC unit at my house 3 years ago. Since then I've had to make two service calls and both times the service has been amazing. For both services then they've been able to make it out to me extremely quickly and their technicians have resolved the issues very quickly as well. Highly recommend LBA.

We had a plumber come out to look at our toilets and discussed a smell coming from the drains in our bathroom sinks. We were not impressed with the technician that did the service. He explained things in plumber technical terms not in a way we could understand. Also came across as very pushy wanting to up sell everything. The technician spoke directly to me and mostly ignored my husband. Should we stay with LBA, we would not want this technician again.
The service men that installed my air-conditioned and my furnace did a great job, they were very professional knowledgeable they explained the operation of the two units and answered all my questions. They showed up on time got the job done and cleaned up afterwards. They even fixed/replaced my lineset that the roofers damaged while replacing my roof. The sales rep and the office personnel are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend LBA .

I had Drew with LBA come out for an annual furnace maintenance and tune up. He was wonderful. I have a very old furnace and he was very honest with me about the shape it was in (still good) but would be much more efficient and save me money on monthly bills if it were replaced. I signed up for the FSMP and had one of your tech come out early July and paid out over $600 for new plan and whatever upgrades he thought was needed to make my AC unit drum proficiently.However, two days ago, my 5 years old AC unit stop working (not cooling my house) and now, one part was broken and additional part was needed to prevent the new part from failing and I had to pay out another $600 plus.I am not happy with the service you are providing because, the issue I had two days ago should have been caught in early July and I would not had to come up with another $600 plus that I did not had.Something is wrong with this picture.Fact of the matter, if we analyze this problem from my health professional perspective, after I complete full panel blood work on my patient, It would provide information to prevent any unknown health related illness to come up and Any that are onset of coming without/with symptoms. And this is what it’s called preventative health; which is to prevent and catch early health related illness, and the early stages……which is the same thing has the maintenance plan that I signed up for. To prevent, catch early and to maintain Adequate functionality of my AC unit and that did not happen and thus costing me, my family unnecessary stress and additional $600 plus that I don’t have.I am not happy and very concern.
We are very pleased with the work from LBA. Our AC went bad and needed replaced, (12 years old) during the install process we found a problem with the furnace that could have been a health issue if not given attention. Another home service company missed this. We ended up having to get an entire new AC/Furnace system. They understood the issue of it being a significant expense and worked with us. They also were very detailed in their install and I feel went above and beyond what I would have expected. The tech was awesome and explained everything along the way. Would definitely recommend LBA!

After a great install about 2.5 years ago I received no calls in the spring for follow up services. So this year I called to schedule a visit and find out because I have 2 units I have to pay 2 call out prices though they are coming to the same place. I call this poor customer service and excessive charges. I will no longer recommend them.
We've been LBA customer for years. Always; no exceptions, completely satisfied with their products and services. Eli's visit today was no exception. Showed up promptly, listened to some concerns I had, and made a couple of extra service suggestions which went right to my concerns. LBA employs nothing but Pros that know what they are doing. Brand new system that no one knows how to fix. Being given misinformation and disinformation. Techs tried to explain away what they were told was happening and did not listen to or trust what they were being told. Poor communication between techs and service manager. Overall very disappointing experience and still no solution in sight.

Austin and Noah were terrific! We had a plumbing issue come up in our home and they arrived quickly after I called for service. They gave me options and explained everything thoroughly. Fast, friendly and efficient service! Would highly recommend!!
I had Kaden out today to snake my pipes because we had some sewage backup into my basement. My husband called them yesterday and they were here today. Kaden was professional and polite as he walked me through what he would be doing and explained everything to me. He wore boot covers in the house and even put them on his rolling equipment so he didn't track in dirt. He was able to clear the pipe and had me confirm by running water. He also cleaned up around my drain before he left, which is a mess he did not make! They already scheduled someone to come out with a scope on Friday. Overall it was a great experience!

Our air conditioning problem was a little hard to diagnose. Before I called LBA, it seemed that everything was running but there was no air flow. When the technician got here, he was able to turn on the fan and get air flow. He hot-wired the thermostat and everything worked - compressor and air handler, putting out cool air. So it was decided that the thermostat needed to be replaced. I had a wifi-enabled programmable thermostat (Honeywell) that had failed. The technician put in a PRO1 which is wifi and programmable. I wish he had done more to set up the wifi connection. He just said to download the PRO1 app to my phone and it would be easy. I did that when he left and it was not easy. The printed instructions that come with the PRO1 are not adequate. I had the hardest time getting the phone to show that it had found the wifi thermostat. You have to tap on the thing that says that the thermostats are displayed below. Then the thermostats appear. Other than that he did a great job, was neat, cleaned up after himself, and was friendly. He waived the service call fee, charged for the diagnosis time, and charged for the thermostat. His price for the thermostat was double the price elsewhere, so I thought I should get more help with the setup.

I called for a main drain to be cleaned. They were able to fit me in quickly. They sent out a tech named Kaden who was professional and informative. He didn't quit until the clog was cleared. Thanks LBA. P.S. my 8 year old loves your commercial, i don't know why but she does.
Technician was friendly, professional and saved us a lot of money through repairing our faucet instead of replacing the fixture. We highly recommend LBA, they are very attuned to their customer service!

We had LBA replace both HVACs at our house 2 years ago and one of the A-Coils developed a leak. LBA promptly came out and tried to repair it twice and ended up having to replace it. I’ve used LBA ever since becoming a home buyer 20 years ago. In the last two weeks, LBA technicians have installed a furnace, air conditioner, water softener and sump pump. They’ve all been professional, knowledgeable, skilled and thorough in answering my questions.
Mark Morgan, Mitch Smedley, and crew did a wonderful job. After 50 + years, it was time for our sewer line to be replaced. Rather than trenching, we opted to have new sewer line installed using the pipe-burst method, in part as our sewer line runs under the road to the main line across the street. We obtained quotes from several vendors, but were most impressed with LBA because of Mark and Mitch--it's not always all about price (although they were competitive in their pricing). They came on time, did their work with minimal disruption to our home, and completed it all in one day. We were impressed with their entire team's emphasis on quality and a job well done. We would have no reservations recommending them (though would not wish a sewer line replacement on anyone).

LBA is the best!!! Experience and quality DO make a difference!! I wish I could give higher than 5 stars, because today's experience was a life saver. What could have cost me thousands of dollars, was solved in less than 2 hours for a very nominal fee and I am extremely grateful! I had a unique situation where a prior plumber left unfinished plumbing inside a finished wall - and LBA was able to figure it out and fix it under 2 hours after I had MULTIPLE plumbers and contractors tell me they would have to tear out walls, it would cost thousands, etc. etc. LBA is the most ethical and professional company out there - and I highly recommend. Calling LBA is the best thing I have done this month without a doubt.
This is for the semi-annual heating/cooling check-up. Jerry came out and was very knowledgable, shared what he was doing and telling me why, and he answered all of my questions. It is well worth the peace of mind to have the contract, and to have it backed up by a great company.
LBA is very professional and responsive. We especially respect and appreciate their technician, Rick, who does an outstanding job when called!

LBA, FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! These people are professionals and it shows. I got a quote for a new AC unit one day and less than 24 hrs later it was getting installed. Do yourself a favor and use them for your AC issues!!!!
LBA is very knowledgeable and you can expect them to do it right. They warranty their work and products (if they install). However, they are not cheap. When it comes to heating, cooling and plumbing for my business, I can’t afford cheap. Need it done right the first time.

Jose spent about an hour and a half dong a thorough check of the furnace before locating the location of a water leak. Fortunately, it wasn't a fatal problem that would have required a new furnace. He waived the service-charge call because another LBA technician had been out about two weeks earlier to do a seasonal inspection and tune-up, but the leak was not evident at that time. Jose was friendly as well as professional and competent -- qualities that seem to be representative of LBA technicians.

As usual, Jessie, who has done my AC & Heating check ups for the last couple of years did his usual very good job. He is efficient, knows his stuff and gets the job done quickly. I look forward to him coming every spring and fall.
Have continued to use LBA since they installed our new system a couple of years ago. They have always been timely and professional as well as proficient. Very pleased. I also appreciate their communication protocols for appointments.
Just a routine plumbing inspection and Corbin did an amazing job of explaining what he was doing and what he found and what to look for. He was very knowledgeable about all plumbing aspects of my home.
Austin was great, arrived right on time and went straight to work on the backup caused by a blocked floor drain. He was finished in no time, and gave me suggestions on what to do pro actively in the future. He also is having a camera person come out and offer further action so that we can be rid of back ups in our basement. Thanks so much.
Pat was very helpful in answering my questions about my sump pump as well as a shower head. Right before his arrival I had a hot water connection in the kitchen disconnect and he took care of it without charging me.

Auston correctly found the leak from my upstairs bathroom. It involved some good thought, and he did it! The next day, the U-shaped drain was expertly repaired. The clean-up was done. It was a pleasure to have LBA's workmen in my home!
I phoned LBA Thursday to schedule a service call as a result of as a 401 code alert on the thermostat. The lady scheduling said it would be Monday before the service advisor (RUSTY) whom we prefer would be available. I explained that I have cancer and was concerned about the heat. Rusty arrived our door step a short time later. Rusty is extremely honest, personable, methodical and extremely knowledgable regarding our two HVAC systems that include zoning. The repair was promptly diagnosed, repaired! GREAT JOB!
Tech Izzy, very through, professional, polite and explained in simple terms what he was doing and what our options were. He got our air back, and man are we happy.

Tech was knowledgeable and knew how to troubleshoot problems. The scheduled promotional inspection was a little helter-skelter though. No check list available to make sure all plumbing was looked at.

Patrick was very professional and personable. He clearly explained the work he did, including associated costs for other work for consideration.
What should have taken a day was stretched over 2 months and then when they had all the parts and after we paid in full, we found out the tech did not connect the unit right. So since we had to wait for the air handler cover anyway we had said to wait to send anyone back out since so many trips were made wasted. Weeks had past without hearing from our contact Scott, come to find out after i had reached out to the owner ( he had sent an email thinking project was complete) scott had completely dropped the ball and forgot about us admitting the cover was never ordered even though it had to be special made wasting so much time!!! (That happens after they get there money) The only thing they were willing to do is offer us to have the dry wall replaced, not even a response or apology from the owner... Not holding my breath!! Scott also knew from the get go we wanted a bathroom project done but never seemed interested in our business. Word of advise do not agree to a project if you can't get it done timely. (should have gone with Buckner) Oh well first and last time we use LBA!!!

After finding LBA on Home Advisor (and based on past personal experience with them - I called LBA. Their scheduling service was polite and quick to arrange for Pat to call me after finishing at a nearby call. As I requested, Pat called and quoted me their $89 trip charge (as stated by scheduler). He arrive when he said he would. He was polite, friendly and came across as very understanding of our situation and without being asked to, he waived our trip charge. He got right to work and finished in less than the time he felt it would take. Both our main sewer line as well as the floor drain were cleared. I was very pleased with the overall experience. The total cost was $360 ($60 extra charge for clearing the floop drain). In spite of the extra cost I'm pleased with the speed and value we received. The smell from backed up sewage was terrible so LBA/Pat's ability to get the job done quickly was greatly appreciated. Will use them again. (Hopefully not for the same problem!)
Husband called this morning (Saturday) when our older furnace wasn’t working well, hoping someone could come today. Friendly as always, they said Patrick could be here in 30 minutes - and he was! Received a text right away to confirm, with his picture; then another 5 minutes later that he was on his way. He fixed the problem, explained it, answered questions. Gave suggestions. Knows his stuff. Professional. Got the emailed invoice right away, loved that. Signed up for maintenance plan again to save money!

Initial equipment installation was a great experience. Seems like existing customers take the back burner for service work, especially warranty labor. Cancelling and trying to reschedule appointments even after making them weeks in advance. Also they failed to mention that if you don't answer your phone to confirm you are at your house they cancel your appointment without telling you. Might be a good idea to mention that when scheduling an appointment.

Great service from Phil Norris and Jose Gonzalez of LBA. Phil was lead and spent two days evaluating our plumbing system and determining what equipment and repairs were. required to return to top performance. He and Jose returned a second day to.fix some difficult issues and install a new water heater. Both provided excellent service and addressed all issues with us, some of which had been long standing problems. Two top-notch professionals.
Knowledgeable, polite & on time. Asked for print out of recommendations never received.
Aaron with LBA always does a very thorough job of maintenance and repair work on our HVAC system. You feel very confident when he is done that the work has been done correctly and your system is back in shape.

SUCH A RIPOFF!!! We signed up for their maintenance agreement in early 2021 and as part of that are also supposed to get preferred pricing on other work done, etc. Had them come out for the annual check for our furnace last week-- when the repairman was here, he said our Ignitor was outside of the acceptable range, and it was probably going bad and that when it quit, we would not have any heat. He said the cost to do that was $440. Seems like we had no choice since we're heading into the winter so we told him to do it. While he was replacing it we googled the part number he gave us for the ignitor, and found that it costs $25-$50! It took him roughly 15 minutes to replace it! Called the office and talked with office manager, about the exorbitant price in light of what we found to be the price of the part, especially since we had their service agreement. He said that was reasonable, and ranted about how they had to cover all of their overhead costs for repairman, buying their vans, etc. etc., and noted that the price of our service agreement was a steal anyway. He said if you want to hire some fly-by-night repairman who operates out of the back of their van, then you can probably get it for less, but any reputable company would charge roughly the same price. Following that unpleasant conversation, I decided to check out his statement -- called AFC Heating & Cooling (a reputable company who has been in business since the 1950's -- they quoted me a price of $202! So disappointed in our overall service with LBA -- they massively take advantage of their customers and are unethical.
Angelena was great. She talked us through the situation and the various options to solve the problem. She did a great job and I would definitely recommend her and LBA. I have used LBA for over ten years now and they do a great job every time.
My tech was here on time & knew exactly what he needed to do. He was very courteous, personable, & could quote me costs without any problems. He also helped me make a decision re: my humidifier whether to include it in todays visit or wait. He could of suggested I also do it the same day but explained why it would be more beneficial for me to wait until my fall tune-up to do it. I very much appreciated his honesty.

Very pleased with the timeliness and professionalism of the the Technician, Austin. The first call out for a broken shut off valve on a toilet. Simple fix. But it led to identifying a problem with the sump pump which had stopped functioning. Replaced the pump the next day.

Was told that with an $89 special for drain clearing there would be a camera included but technician stated they did not have the equipment because it WASN'T included. This was apparently a miscommunication. How will anyone know how to unclog the pipe without a camera?? Tech was however very professional and knowledgeable.
He did an AC inspection, was very thorough and educated me on several key points. Very impressive. Great service.
had another plumber morning on 23rd plumber tried to clear sewer line without success. told me sewer line was broken and collapsed. LBA had 2 plumbers out said they would try and open, camera was used after snaking line was able to open. also saw no collapse. pricing was reasonable. LBA earned 5 stars

We had a great experience with LBA!Of course it is memorial day weekend and Saturday at 630am we wake up to a flooded home and a broken water heater. I immediately reached out to LBA and was surprised that someone actually answer at 630 on a Saturday morning. I expected to leave a message on an emergency line and get a call back. They immediately answer and was at my house shortly after 9. I believe Doug the manager actually answered our call. Our set up was a mess and the previous owner placed the water heater and furnace in a tight closet with the water heater almost tucked behind our furnace. It was not an easy removal and installation but they stayed and went above and beyond to help us get set up over the weekend. Thank you Doug and we definitely recommend!

Work completed but would like workers to wear their blue feet wraps. Has some dirty carpet. Also, would have liked better cleanup downstairs.
Austin completed our complimentary plumbing check. make recommendations for repair. gave 3 scenarios for repair costs. very professional and explained all costs and services.
