I had someone from blue Dragon to add an expansion tank on my water heater. Someone was not the owner was sent to my house. One year later the connection on the water outlet started leaking. It was then found that the connection was poorly done and the expansion tank was tilted that caused the leak.Also I asked them to lower the water pressure, and the gentlemen who came to do that did not connect the pipes correctly until I pointed out that the way he connected the pipes would only lower the pressure to the backyard and not the house. He then had to redo the wiring. If I had not noticed the mistake I would have spent all that money to only lower my backyard water pressure.I do not recommend..

Dang, how did I get by without these guys? I'd be pretty skeptical of any plumber claiming to be better than them. It's just so amazing how responsive and effective Mr. Rooter has been. There couldn't be any other plumber in Austin quite like Mr. Rooter.

Needed to have a 26KW Briggs and Straton home standby generator installed. After getting a few plumbing quotes Jeff with Thunderbird Plumbing came out on top. His team showed up early and went straight to work despite some rainfall. It was a small workforce there to lay a gas line from the home to the generator. These guys were a digging machine and the entire job was completed in 5 hours. They laid down tarps to capture the soil then carefully cut the sod. They hand dug a 45 foot long, two foot deep trench. They laid the poly pipe, labeled for safety then connected cutoff and pressure controls on each end. Then installed the battery and test ran the generator. Purred like a kitten. They watered in and tamped down the loose soil as they filled the trench. Won't be long until your won't even be able to tell they did anything in the back yard. His team comes highly recommended! Thank you Jeff I know where to go when I need some plumbing assistance.

Use caution, ensure the price quoted over the phone includes diagnostic! Don't make the $500 mistake that I did.I called Fast Plumbing after my water company detected a steady 10 gal/hr leak, most likely from a toilet not sealing. Melissa was very helpful and they were able to get the toilet fixed the next day. No issues with the quality or timeliness of the work.The problem is that over the phone we communicated that the repair would be $238. Melissa called me and I approved the charge once the plumber had diagnosed the problem- I even added a $20 tip because of how grateful I was with the quick response and repair. However, $798 was charged to my card. I called and Melissa explained that the additional charge was for the diagnostic and discovering where the leak was from. This price was not quoted over the phone.Home Depot and Lowes had both quoted me approximately $400 total to completely replace the old toilet, but i wanted to support a local company, plus I was under the (incorrect) impression that the end price to repair (not replace) the toilet would be under $300.Edit: we were not quoted for $125 service fee and $375 for the first hour of leak detection, per the owner response below. I already had a quote to completely replace the toilet for $400, why would I pay $500 to have a diagnostic? This makes no sense and looks to me like the company is trying to save face.Furthermore I also did not say anything about an $800 water bill, this is simply not true. No idea where that came from - maybe the company is getting us confused with another customer?

I had several broken pipes due to the cold weather. Called More and Moore plumbing. They came out as soon as they could. Made very professional repairs. Their tech's were courteous and professional. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone.

Outstanding! So grateful to Johnny Rooter! Plumbing leaks never happen at a convenient time. I got a knock on the door from a city employee on Friday after 5pm letting me know I had a big leak outside and after turning off the water, I called Johny Rooter. I'd used them several times before and had always been happy but this was a big job and I was worried. I am so impressed with Coleman. He came all the way from Leander back into Austin on Friday night, worked in the dark and found the leak and fixed it. He was professional, courteous, kind and trustworthy. Because it was after hours and digging in the dark takes longer, I was worried I was going to have a HUGE bill but he took care of us. Paying a plumber is like paying a dentist. You hate the bill but I can honestly say he deserved every penny of it and while I hate having to pay for a leak, I'm glad the good folks at Johnny Rooter get that money. Thanks again Coleman. Had no hot water at night due to construction that the remodel company couldn't figure out but wanted to charge me $500 for a new pilot switch. Requested to Ben Franklin that someone come out the next day which they did and were able to arrive much earlier than scheduled. Dylan is very professional and pleasant to deal with. The issue was minor, and I was only charged the service charge. Very happy with tech and service and happy that I have contract with them.
