Best Sump in Austin TX

We had a great experience using S&D Plumbing for repairing our leaky shower. When I called for an urgent repair, they shifted appointments around to get a technician to our house as quickly as possible. Our technician Dustin was prompt, friendly, and identified the problem with our shower immediately. He clearly explained the issue and even showed me the broken parts that needed to be replaced. We felt he gave us honest and helpful feedback on how to deal with the repair. The repair ended up being more extreme than what S&D could do (involving cutting into the marble shower), but he stopped the leak and didn't charge us for the visit/diagnosis of the problem. I would definitely call S&D plumbing again in the future.

My hot water in my house started getting cooler and cooler and I realized my water heater was not performing. I call in and spoke with Misty and she was excellent. She was able to get ahold of Nick Moore, their plumber, and I from phone call to completion it was only 3 or 4 hours. I’m severely impressed at how fast they got Nick out to my house and how quickly Nick performed the necessary repair to get me hot water again. Overall, an amazing group and Nick was excellent. Thank you!!

Excellent care and honest discussion of problems

I'm involved in a major, and very important to me garage remodel. Jerry seemed concerned about the route and aesthetics of the copper pipes. This is important as it will be visible on top of a ‘brand new room’.Jerry will be back Friday to reinstall the two appliances. I'll leave a full review after Jerry's next visit. Hope I can change my neutral 3 star to a satisfied and happy 5 stars!

If, for some reason, you asked me about the plumbers here in Austin and demanded an assessment of their abilities, one plumber would reign supreme: Mr. Rooter. They supply unmatched quality and amazing prices, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Oscar was a GREAT technician who went above and beyond trying to locate & clear a pipe that has been clogged for a while. I highly recommend him & will ask for him if we need a plumber in the future.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! The biggest waste of money ever... spent $218 for them to open my wall up to view garden tub drain line. They should have tested other options first before opening up the wall. The owner called me and argued with me, didn't listen and only focused on proving his point. Don't trust their technician experience and their rates which were more than more reputable companies with higher ratings ($375 for 75' camera scope while others use 150' camera scope at $250).

They were very polite and came to service my busted water heater same-day. But they quoted me almost $1500 to replace a 40 gallon water heater. That’s about $900 more than what one costs at Lowe’s or Home Depot, which seems like an egregious markup.

Amazing!!!! They sent a very kind, lovely, knowledgeable young man who fixed my shower problem for the best price in no time, after another company sent some jerk who quoted me an insane price.

See my other reviews.If you're using Abacus, assume you're being taken for a ride. I shudder to think how much money they've taken from me on previous jobs.

Prompt, knowledgeable. He was informative about all options of what the issue could be instead of jumping straight to a new water heater. Not entirely sure what is wrong with our water heater but it's working now. If the water gets cold again, we will call him back out and he'll put our payment towards a new water heater. Super nice guy! Would endorse him a million times over!

Extremely impressed with Abraham and his assistant. They were both very knowledgeable and fixed our ac issue quickly. Abraham took the time to explain exactly what they did and also suggested recommended routine maintenance on both ac units. Extremely pleased and would highly recommend both of these techs as well as Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning. We will keep them in mind for all of our ac needs in moving forward. Thank you very much! (I was also very impressed how Stan's got somebody out to repair our ac unit so very quickly!) Office staff was excellent as well. Just cannot say enough good about our experience!
