Best Residential Plumbing Repairs in Austin TX

I had S&D out to my house to look at a plumbing leak coming from my garage (pre snowstorm). After they pushed the appointment because the technician got caught at another job site, I contacted another company about the leak. The other company came and fixed the leak for over $400 less than S&D quoted me (and S&D's quote was just for the leak investigation, not the plumbing repair, nor the patching of drywall and cement). S&D quoted me $1,400 for the investigation, while the other company did the investigation, repair, and drywall and concrete patching for $988. I then contacted S&D again about a tankless hot water heater (as the company I had just used doesn't offer that work), and accepted the quote and date given by S&D. Again, S&D called because, the technician got stuck at another job site. They tried to reschedule to a weekend more than a week away, after I had just hired someone to stay at my house to wait all day for them to arrive (which they didn't). Exceptionally high prices combined with not keeping appointments. Very frustrating experience, total lack of respect for other peoples time.

We've been using Rooter-Man for two years and have been very happy with their work. What I like best about their plumbers is how well they communicate what the problem and potential solutions are. They do good work, and their charges are reasonable. Moreover, they sent out a plumber to fix a leak the day after Thanksgiving, which we appreciate immensely. Wyatt quickly identified and repaired the problem, then tested our system to ensure other issues wouldn't arise later. Overall, we highly recommend this company.

I had a garbage disposal installed among a few other services a little over a year ago.The technician suggested he replace angle valves on all my sinks and toilets as a precaution because the old ones can fail at any time. Sounds great. Come to find out they charged over $70 a piece for something that costs $5 at home depot and installation is as easy as screwing in a light bulb.I guess the tech was so worried about angle valves that he forgot to inspect the condition of the sink mount before installing the new garbage disposal.It had been leaking a little ever since and gradually getting worse. I just put a bucket down there and didn't think too much about it until today.Here are the pics:No they will not be back to my house.

Pierre and team were timely, professional and didn't jerk us around with mystery fees and surprise charges. After being referred to A&T by 2 of my neighbors, I chose to get 2 quotes for our crumbling and clog-prone 54 year old sewer line repair work. 1 from A&T and another from a competing company. A&T was more in line with my expectations. I expected there to be delays and let them do their thing. It's done when it's done, and there were some hurdles with rock, etc, but the end result was completed professionally. Best of all, the team were very very responsive during the last mile, ensuring that things worked. Glad I chose them and will do so for future projects. I'd happily refer them to others as well. Update 11/17 - 3 days later, sink is clogged again and now my faucet extension hose gets stuck half the times I use it. I'm done.Update: Alvin Santoy came back today. He explained that any time you take pipes out and change things, you possibly impact the seal of the sink. He rechecked everything and fixed the ptrap. So far so good. Thanks to Alvin for his responsiveness.Work was done to unclog drain and while here the plumber moved things around, rerouted the cord from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal and not sure what else. Besides the clogged drain, we had never had any other plumbing problems, no leaks, no issues with the garbage disposal. Suddenly, post the repair we have issues with the pipes under the sink and there is a lot of leakage. The plumber indicated there was a leak in the p-trap and provided an estimate for an additional repair on top of the $350+ I paid for the clogged drain. It just feels as if the work done to unclog the drain caused more issues as now instead of having water backing up in the sink I have water pooling under the sink in the wood cabinets.I sent a note to them to ask for a revisit and received a call from someone who basically told me it was likely a problem with the p-trap and that's why I have the water. But, again, I had no issues prior to the repair visit.Hoping they can resolve the issues. But must admit I was not a fan of the agent who tried to say the issues were due to me not adding on another service with Mr. Rooter.Stay tuned for update!

Got really quick service on a holiday weekend! Nick was efficient and gracious and answered all of my questions. He even gave me some tips on how to keep the kitchen drain line clear on an ongoing basis.

You get what you pay for. Like a lot of plumbers, they don’t ever meet their appointments and in a short time have provided awful customer experiences / gone completely dark.

Recently, I had a garbage disposal installed by one of their new employees, Mycol, who was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of tips on how to use the disposal and prolong it's longevity, many that I was unaware of. I've recommended Fast Plumbing to my friends and neighbors and know that they've done the same.

Very professional company on the initial call, appointment was on time and the team that made the repair were polite, knowledgeable and fast. They fixed a leaking toilet on the second floor and cleaned up everything behind. Jamie, the lead guy has great communication skills and is a good team leader. Our first impression was very good so we will definitely use them again. Not the cheapest in town, but Reliable and good quality work. That’s what we were looking for.

Jeff at Moore & More was an excellent problem solver, taking all the best steps to isolate and find the leak in our home. He explained his steps and expected costs thoroughly and, most importantly, solved our leak when it was a difficult one to track down. If you want a job done right the first time, this is who I would call.

So happy to report that Benjamin Franklin plumbing exceeded expectations m called at 3 plumber here by 415. Clogged bathroom sink was in working order within the hour. Plumber also answered questions about long term maintenance of our pipes. Dylan was easy going, professional, and capable. Very happy with the outcome and service.

Kortez moved our clothes washer hookups in our laundry room and did a great job. After a problem with the new fixture getting clogged with hard water deposits he was really helpful in getting are water working again. Thanks!

This is the first time I've worked with AustiPlumbery, and it went extremely well! I had a sudden conference call pop up during my scheduled service arrival time and they were able to work around it. My toilet was leaking badly from the base and it was completely fixed within an hour. Wow! Travis was fast, knowledgeable, and professional. I'll definitely use them in the future!

Redbud is the best! We had tried another company at first, and they did not fix the problem, but instead left us with a huge mess and big estimate to fix it. We gave Redbud a try and they returned our calls quickly, arrived at the house on time, identified the problem right away and efficiently fixed it with no mess or fuss.We will definitely use them from here on out! These folks know their stuff.

I tried to contact them twice, left my information and no one's gotten back to me. If they're not out of business then they've got a really poor idea of customer service.
