Best Repair And Maintenance Services in Austin TX

I was quoted more than $320 to replace a leaky toilet valve. Was told their software could not bill me for just the valve replacement so they had to rebuild my toilet. Told them no and bought a toilet tank kit at the hardware store for $22. Kept getting texts asking me to leave a review so here it is.

I was very happy about the quick, same day service. Removing my old toilet and installing a new one took only two hours. However, I thought $1,601.18 was a very high charge.

Needed a couple of hot water recirculating pumps installed for a remodel. Called a few of the better companies in town since I wanted people experienced installing these systems. Got tired of them all charging $79 just to come and give you a quote. Radiant lowers that to $39 which is helpful. Radiant sent out plumber Zach who was an absolute professional from start to finish. Their bid was almost identical to competitors and they gave me a good, better, best option as I requested. Zach did excellent work and he always took the time to explain everything to my elderly dad who wants to know about the entire process. Work was neat and tidy when he was finished.Thanks Zach and Radiant!(Competition was surprisingly bad during estimate. Criticized recent work and told me I paid too much and should have called him for the installation, when I never told him what I paid to begin with! Toldme it wasn’t up to code when we had passed with what my contractor said is the strictest by the book guy in the department. Obviously just a ploy he uses to drum up business. Couldn’t get him out of the house fast enough.)

Desiree from the office team was always prompt to respond to phone calls. I hope to not need emergency plumbing services again, but will call Mr. Rooter first if necessary.

We hired Capital City as part of a refresh on our house before putting it up for sale. We gave Jeff Bogus a list, he bid it, and we approved the work. He then took the liberty of adding on to his scope of work, and got snippy when we told him that wasn't in his bid - that it was on other vendor's work list. We questioned his bill, and endured some of his psuedo-legal bickering. Ultimately we paid his price and moved on - it wasn't worth the trouble. HOWEVER, a month later, we got a $1000 water bill. We asked Jeff to come out and check his work. He refused, saying that since we argued over the original bill, that removes (us from) additional work and warranty. As a recovering attorney, I always find this psuedo-legal babble entertaining. What isn't so entertaining is a plumber that's hard to deal with on the front end, and won't help on the back end when there's a problem. Caveat Emptor.

We had a situation where the water heater was leaking. It was after hours and several other plumbers, including the 24hour plumbers we contacted had no technician available or did not answer the phone. We needed to stop the leak quickly and figure out what was wrong with the water heater. We called Fast Plumbing and talked to Lee. Even though it was after hours, he walked us through turning off the water heater. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and his expertise was very evident. We were so grateful that he is the kind of person who likes to help. Not sure what we would've done without him that night. I highly recommend Fast Plumbing for caring, professional work.

This firm has decided to capitalize on demand. They quoted me 660$ for a 15 minute repair. I paid their estimate fee of 89$ and said no thank you. Go elsewhere!

Rinnai recommended them a a certified Rinnai service professional, I called on a Saturday PM, They cam e within an hour diagnosed, then sent the certified specialist, They were on the phone with tech support for at least an hour found the problem , corrected it and we had our issue resolved. They were extremely professional, came when they said they were , and stuck to the playbook no surprises unlike a few other companies I have dealt with in Austin. I will use them again but hopefully I wont need to...

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this company. I Short Term Rental my home due to everything being so expensive these past few years and reviews in that business is extremely important. My kitchen faucet had a catastrophic failure the very last moment as i was leaving. I called Westmoreland who understood my situation and dispatched a tech who immediately responded and arrived with the correct internal components to repair the faucet with-in 3 hours, all before my guests arrived. I had several burst pipes after the snow storm in February. Alex and Dessie were out to me and were able to sort me out in no time. It was also far more affordable than the jobs many of my neighbors had done for similar work. Definitely would recommend!
